How to Create a Money Bowl

You will need:

Bowl

Rice - for abundance

Money Oil

Coins, cash, etc. (This can even be paper with dollar signs/money signs written in green or gold.)

Cinnamon sticks - for money

A green candle - for money, prosperity, abundance, wealth

Bay leaves

Basil (or other money related herbs and spices)

Pyrite - to attract money and prosperity

Clear Quartz - to amplify the spellwork

Fill your bowl with rice up to a height you're comfortable with.

On a separate plate or napkin, layout the basil. (You can add any other spices or herbs that will help with your money bowl.) Dress the candle with your money oil. (This can be purchased pre-made from your local magick shop or you can make your own. If you don't have any, you can use whatever oil you have on hand.) Roll the candle in the herbs and make sure it's coated well.

Place the candle at the center of the bowl and start placing your stuff inside! I used rolled up cash (whatever amount you'd like), cinnamon sticks, basil with my petitions written on them, etc. Feel free to add more money-drawing items or remove what you feel isn't serving you.

Decorate your box with crystals and other items. I used a pyrite elephant and pyrite cluster since pyrite is associated with money and wealth, but I also used a clear quartz to amplify the shellwork and boost the money-drawing power.

I placed my bowl on top of my clear box with tips from the place I bartend at, but you can put your bowl wherever makes sense to you. The key is to "work" the bowl and continue to add/remove items, light the candle, add drops of oil, replace an old candle with a new one, etc. Since I have my bowl sitting on top of my money box, inserting money into the box is like I'm "feeding" the box/bowl with that energy.

I think the most important part to remember is that this bowl is personal and entirely up to you. Everyone's bowl will look different and people will "work" their bowls differently, which I think is really cool. There is no right or wrong way to make a money bowl, but it is a lot of trial and error. The Book of Doors & Keys: A Manifestation Grimoire for 2024

Hey friends! I started working on a big art magic project recently.

I thrifted this children's board book full of fun little flaps awhile ago and my mind instantly knew I was going to do some art witchery with it. (Pictured below is an example page that's been lightly gessoed over.)

After turning over the concept and personal symbolism of doors in my mind for awhile, I hashed out this idea to create a sort of living vision board that I can add to throughout the new year (and continue to open doors when I need them). Btw, I mean living in the sense of the ability to change and build, not like a servitor or spirit vessel.

I know I want to heavily utilize imagery over words for these manifestations, for a few reasons. One, I already have a separate manifestation vessel that harbors written petitions (I call it my wishing well, I'll post about it if anyone is interested!) Two, I've been itching to dive into folkloric and personal symbolism to capture the essence of my desires in a more creative, aesthetic and visually stimulating way. And three, just look at those flap shapes! Does the flap fold up, down, left or right? Rounded or squared or another shape entirely? How big or how small is the flap, and how big or small is the manifestation that should go inside it? They're begging to be interpreted and played upon! Flaps on flaps, baby. Pockets and fold-outs and ephemera, oh my. Can you tell how much this excites me?

Anyway, here's what I came up with for a lovely lively cover. It's not exactly what I imagined when I begun, but I find it fitting nonetheless. The cover has been turned into a giant door, and the magic in opening it via the knob is surprisingly powerful. A door to many more doors, each one eagerly waiting for me to open it.

And here is the unfinished first page I began today.

There's not quite enough pages to dedicate one to each month, so I'll have to play around with the format, but the idea is that every door houses a manifestation, a feeling, a spell, an energy, a goal or result, etc. that I wish to attract and embody and integrate. The act of opening the doors and what lies inside them releases a bit of the spell's energy each time and can be used in conjunction with related spells/rituals. And of course energy can/will be added back into each door in ways that I haven't fully realized quite yet. Am I making sense? Hopefully.

More to come in the future, at least what I'm willing to share at those times. And with it, I'm sure, more rambling that will hopefully eventually flesh out a true understanding of this magic I'm creating.

Magical Results report of workings: Crossroad work and dream oracle, 2 in 1 combo

I remember when I used to be a teenage I used to scout the internet and read about this person's evocation or that person's results with a freezer spell, fun stuff! It was fun reading people's experience and people often ask how does it go or they search for someone's experience of a ritual.

Let me preface mine and say that if you do these spells, don't do them to the letter. Again use what you have locally and at your disposal, your experience is going to be different from mine and what you see and happen to you might be super different to what happens to mine. I was inspired with the first spell to get three rotten eggs, write the name of someone who I wanted to bind and curse. I added a plate of stroganoff , wrote petition paper alongside it asking the spirit of the cross-road and spirit of nature to feast on the offering and on the essence of the egg(the person name written on the egg). I left the offering on the crossroad and a day or two later the names on the egg was gone, the meat was gone, and 5 or 6 days later the eggs were gone too. The person was unable to go to work, looked sickly, was overworked when he did come to work and looked generally worn out. I did a dream oracle (method I translated ) for a very important decision coming up, I didn't get the dream that night but I ended up hearing the divine names being chanted in my ears like I am in a large mosque and there was a unison chanting near my ear. Who got the dream? my partner @desdemonasarchives lol. Which was pretty funny considering that dream oracle/divination method was for me. That's basically it, your experience is gonna be different and you should go there and experience it for yourself! Go there and do magic :)

Sunshine, the ocean breeze, and... murder? this is a cruise Grimoire and Sally aren't likely to forget.

What are the rules for power upgrades in ML? (Not that the writers will remember after three episodes, but I'm curious)

Based off how Ladybug starts making Anti-Akuma charms by the power of just "I Do What I Want", and Shadowmoth overcoming those same charms immediately through the "Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better", I just made a sort of vague rule that if the holder is ever desperate enough, and focused enough, a power could possibly manifest to fulfill that desperation.

I imagine there'd be some blocks, like you can't manifest a power that will completely replace another kwami's power, and if you use the Miraculous for evil, it'll take more than just desperation to make a new power manifest and for evil holders it may only manifest one time. But these caveats probably won't come up since I only have a few episodes left to write.

Protection Candle – Safe Travels

My mom is going on a trip across the globe (literally), so I wanted to put together a candle for her to help keep her safe while she's on her journey. Continue reading to recreate this spell at home.

You'll need:

A white candle

Protection herbs (Salt, garlic powder, marjoram, Lavender, Spearmint, black pepper)

Something to carve into the candle

Protective crystals (Kunzite, Moonstone, Clear Quartz, Red Jasper, Pyrite, Tigers Eye, Black Amethyst)

Oil (You can use whatever you have on hand)

A plate to stand it on

Here's what I did:

Connect with my ancestors, guides, and deities that you work with. When connecting with my team, I greet them, thank them for their presence, and ask that they guide me through the process. I have an ancestor candle that I light whenever I'm doing anything craft-related since so much of my magick is fueled by my communication and connection with the Otherside. You can light whatever candles or set whatever protection you need. (Whatever works best for you and feels naturally to you!)

Layout the crystals that you plan on pulling energy from and thank them for their presence in the evening's work as well.

Carve the name of the target into the candle and any petitions. I wrote my mother's name, her legal name, and key phrases like "safe travels", "return home safely", "protection", etc. horizontally across the candle.

Dress the candle in oil and herbs. I apply the oil to the candle in a sweeping motion away from me (instead of toward me) because I want the energy I'm putting into the candle to reach the target. (She's far away geographically, so I'm sending this protection out to her.) If this candle is specifically for you, pull the oil toward you and dress it that way instead.

To make the candle to stand upright on a metal tray or some fire-safe thing, melt the bottom of the candle and let the wax drip onto the plate. Then you can just stick the candle on top and the dried wax will help keep it sturdy. Continue to add herbs and crystals for extra protection. I put a ring of garlic powder, salt, and lavender around the candle and said some words to my ancestors and patron deities, but you can use any protective herbs that work for you.

Thank all spirits and deities present for the evening (or whatever time you’re performing the spell) and the herbs and crystals for lending their energy. Anyone/anything that helped contribute to the spellwork should be thanked for their contribution.

Then you light the candle. Light the candle every day that they're away until it melts completely or until they return. Repeat the process if it burns out before they return.

A note:

This spell, the process, and the ingredients used are what works for me. You can use whatever crystals, color of candle, herbs, etc. work best for you. If there are herbs, crystals, etc. that you have a deeper connection with, please feel free to use those rather than what I listed. Magick is so personal and the spells you create should be something you can connect with. This is just what works best for me.
