Loving your Encanto crossover AU... through I got a question... is Shermie older or younger than the triplets in this version?
Because, as we all know, that the Miracle was given to the family due Pedro's sacrifice just a bit after PBJ triplets were born, the Madrigal gets a gift on their 5th birthday and, judging on your fanmade posters, they could well be about five years or less between Shermie and SSS triplets, so all of them could have gotten a Gift on their 5th birthday...
But I'm just curious, which side is older? (And yes, it is the same overthinking person, who once asked if Seb was identical or fraternal triplet to Stan and Ford. Hello again)
i was gonna go sleep but this is more important xd
Hello again Xd Well from pictures I found and never finished (and might be the best shading i might have done)
Obvs we keep in mind Kari in this wouldnt marry Filbrick, this is either a good Filbrick or Frederick his twin xD
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So from what i remember planning before the au died out bc noone liked it anymore...
Shermie was some months old when Kari was pregnant. Again. so he was like, a yr and a few months older than the triplets. The babies were born and they had to flee. Their dad sacrificed himself and they get the miracle. For Shermies 5th bday he gets his door, and he got his cooking gift, which kinda prepared Kari for the triplets the next year, where they got seeing the future, weather control and super strength.

Okay forget for a moment that no one in a secluded town in Colombia in the 1950s would know who Alexander Hamilton is and imagine Encanto characters putting on Hamilton for the town.
Bruno is alexander (its just the vibe..the voice) and maaaaaybe peggy ;)
julieta is eliza
pepa is angelica (theres one scene where hamilton is there with eliza and angelica in their color coded outfits that gives me huuuuge PBJ triplet vibes). shes also mariah because i dont wanna give that role to any of the kids
camilo is jefferson and laurens
antonio is phillip
luisa is james madison dont ask me why. Shes also the metaphorical bullet (she got the dance skills)
isabela is king george….
mirabel is Aaron burr…again dont ask me why she has the main character energy
Dolores is george washington…because she deserves to belt a little bit
Agustín is charles lee, geroge eacker and Samuel seabery (lmao sorry Agustín)
Felix is mulligan and Lafayette
abuela is…a supportive audience member!

Julieta: What did you guys do last night?
Mirabel: All I remember is that I pushed Antonio in a shopping cart for 15 blocks, then we realized we left Camilo downtown.
Pepa: Did you go back and get him?
Isabela: Nah, we went to a karaoke bar instead. So worth it!

Everyone and their Abuela are doing @kinschi ‘s dtiys and it looked like fun, so I decided to try as well! First time trying a dtiys as well, it’s a different process!

The triplet's birthday is set on October 17, the day of the races for that year in Colombia! Well they're born the day the miracle came so it actually makes sense to put it that day.
I'm quite happy knowing it, I put it on my calendar! And I tells you... The translation of my analysis will be posted on that day! I wanted to know it as soon as possible so I could do that. It's a bit far but I could always use that time to improve my dissertation on Bruno.

MAFIA AU Grandkids
Isabela:
-Still Alma's golden grandchild (the generational trauma…it adds the spice 😌), arguably the second most powerful (first being Pepa) and deadly (first being Mirabel) Madrigal in terms of gifts. She can grow hectares of plants, exotic or otherwise, without breaking a sweat, and over time, her control over her powers becomes more and more impeccable, as they become stronger. Being made an example through her powers are….horrifying. she can make plants and roots grow through your organs, tear you apart from the inside. Imagine hanahaki: flowering plants growing roots and thorns through your lungs, throat. She can break your spine with a swift flick of her wrist. She has the same disinterest and ruthlessness as her mother. Daniela thinks its very awe inspiring to see
-Much like her tia Pepa, takes to wealth and power like a duck to water. It suits her!
-Perfectionism, anxiety. All the same can of worms from the show. A lot more vain, and arrogant. Gets into a lot more fights with Mirabel, since Mira in this AU holds herself a lot better to fend for herself.
-Her, Dolores and Luisa had been the only grandkids who were briefly taught by Daniela personally, and remembers her well. By the time Camillo and Mirabel were born, she'd grown too old.
Dolores:
-Her Gift ceremony had been the last to have been made public, because of how overwhelmed she got IMMEDIATELY. She'd screamed in pain and the party gets called off, and Alma says shes fucking done with the parties. Daniela reluctantly agrees. Her room gets remade as soundproof.
-She gets trained as an informant and spy for the family, trained by Alma herself as well as some of Daniela’s best men, but by the time she was 19, stayed by Alma’s side most of the time as a safety measure, while Camillo takes over most of the fieldwork. She does work the occasional mission with him, of course, and some of the more discrete or delicate ones. She does a lot of local trade supervision, as well as underground investigative and detective work. She’s part of Alma’s personal counsel.
-Has some distaste for bloodshed and violent work, which is why Camillo took over quickly (he’s a lot more ruthless), but isn’t one to complain much. Second creepiest Madrigal family member (first being Bruno.)
Luisa:
-Becomes the family tank quickly, was subjected to some intense training to make sure she knew about her strength and how to use it, supervised by Daniela.
- She did a lot of fieldwork when she was in her teens (15 and up) but isn’t one for discretion. By the time Mirabel was 15, she spent most of her time by Alma’s side also as a security/safety measure.
-Behavior is very similar to that in the movie, in that she doesn’t have much the heart for leadership, and doesn’t actually like to resort to violence very often; a very I know I’ll Win and that kind of puts the wind out of my sails mentality.
-Worries a lot for Mirabel, has the closest relationship to her.
-In charge of Casita’s home security.
Camillo:
-Takes over his mama’s penchant for violence and Tio Bruno’s tendency for trouble.
-Pepa spoils him rotten, leans into the spoiled billionaire son and playboy archetype with relish.
-Mama’s boy, ultimately subservient to his Abuela
-Is the one who ultimately spends the most time with Mirabel on fieldwork and missions, spars with her often, doesn’t like to admit he has a particular soft spot for her.
-Very protective of his mama, Mirabel, and Dolores. Almost to a point of recklessness
-If we were assigning 7 deadly sins to all of them, his would be pride and gluttony, the latter in this case for partners, wealth, power, food. Very endearing asshole type with a heart of gold for family.
Mirabel:
-She was trained specifically to become the perfect soldier/assassin, ace of Abuela’s sleeve when she needs something taken care of quickly and efficiently.
-Away for a LOT of traveling and fieldwork. Code name Mariposa
-Think John Wick. Much like her mother, takes to violence and bloodshed with a sort of disinterest and detachment, so long as it got the job done
-Very protective of family. Is usually annoyed by Camillo’s recklessness and the way he carries himself.
-Deadliest Madrigal.
-Her relationship with Isabela is much like the movie prior to the drama. They are each other’s least favourite family member, gets into a lot of squabbles.
-Is very close with her parents.

So I am actually writing a fanfic about Encanto (we're gonna talk about bruno-) I have all the characters, their backstory, I have almost the beginning/middle and end of my story, just have to add some details and precisions... And I have the prologue and the first chapter, still didn't translate in english tho...
The wait is gonna be long... But tell me if you want me to post it when it's done, if you think you're gonna read it. I can tag you as well.
I really want all the chapters to be done and translated 'cause I know if I don't finish it first I might never end the fanfic if I post it too soon. So, sorry for the wait.
I think I'll post 2 chapters per week. For now you can guess some details of the storyline with the sketches I posted... That's all you have for now. ☺️
I really want to post this fanfic because I have so much things to write about, but I still want to apologize if I never find how I want to end the story or if I don't post it at all. But I think it's fine... No worries. I can do this 😅

ENCANTO MAFIA AU LETS FUCKING GOOOO
Pedro used to work in an underground cartel specialising in informant and weapons besides the usual bs. He was just a lackey tho, mostly
-On the day Alma gave birth to the Triplets, Pedro got fucking shot, and Alma, barely recovered from labor, would have been murdered as well, but she reached for a pistol in time (tucked into their bedside), and killed the men who murdered her husband in front of her very eyes
-Shortly after, she spoke to the matriarch of the Cartel, Daniela Ramos Reyes. Daniela ruled with an iron fist but cared for her own, and Pedro had been loyal and competent. Alma had been a village girl, and while she was sharply intelligent-it wasn't as if she pursued enough knowledge to get a high paying job with such short notice. She had to care for 4 now. Daniela offers her a part in her ranks as an informant and cover, and teaches her everything she needs to know. Alma thinks deeply, and agrees.
-She is sent to Encanto, one of their more secure strongholds, and it’s a quiet, unassuming rural town made almost completely up of Daniela's people, or people who were perfectly aware of it.
One of Alma's clients was a dark and knowing woman, beautiful of indeterminant age. In exchange for information, she had offered Alma a "miracle," and while Alma had been skeptical, her gut instinct had insisted the woman told her no lies, and agreed despite herself. The triplets were 4, and the woman (lets call her Esté) tells her to wait for their birthday.
-On the day of their 5th Birthday, her kids got their gifts.
Alma, fearing for her babies, pushed effort in triplicate, climbed the ranks steadily and unfailingly. She quickly became Daniela's favourite, and Alma managed to hold her off coming down for a visit until the triplets until their 10th Birthday, and Pepa got into such a fit that the village had been subjected to thunderstorms and caused some serious damage to wares.
-Daniela came down, obvs. She 'offered' to take the triplets under her wing, and Alma agreed, reluctantly, only if they continued to stay with her and she was allowed to supervise
-Daniela had no kids of her own, so the triplets became her wards. She fucking loved them. She spoiled them to pieces. She loved Bruno's mischief, and his power shot her up to be the most powerful cartel matriarch in 2 years. By the time he was 15, he'd become Daniela's most trusted unofficial counsel. She taught Pepa how to keep her emotions in check, and together, how to control her cloud, loved her spitfire and fostered her anger. Julieta reminded her of Alma the most, and sent her to medical school as quickly as she was able. Juli was ruthless, had never disappointed her even once.
-For a while when they were 17, Alma felt them growing distant. Pepa wanted to leave and come with Daniela to a ball, and it incited a huge row between her and the triplets. Alma broke down, finally telling them what happened to Pedro, she wanted to keep them close, that they were family. Bonding moment; the triplets resolve to make sure their family stays stronger than ever.
-Daniela slowly begins to retire by 60, giving the reins over to the Madrigals. They took care of her: she was still basically family. She died at the ripe old age of 80, when the triplets were 40, and Alma was 65.

MAFIA AU TRIPLETS
Bruno:
-Much of his personality from the movie stayed the same; ie Introverted, Awkward, Loving, etc
-However, training as Daniela's ward and eventually becoming his counsel had done wonders for his self esteem. We see a lot more of his mischievous nature, and can hold up his own in a fight.
-He has the most distaste for bloodshed, and neither Alma nor Daniela were tripping over themselves to get him in harms way, anyway. Hes still socially anxious, and his involuntary visions make him vulnerable to enemies. His powers are too invaluable to lose.
-Daniela and Alma made him out to be wildly protective of his family and the people who works under them.
-The reactions to him vary, but are largely similar to the people of Encanto in the movie. AKA they dont like him because hes creepy as fuck and some of them are superstitious, but hes kind and a good leader, also theyre all too scared shitless of Daniela
-He dresses in a lot of business casual. Comfortable but tailored slacks, button ups and the occasional vest. Leather shoes.
-Daniela prefers him to tie his hair back, to better see his face (he tends to die behind them), and Alma prefers him to have it in low bun or loose, since he looks more like his sisters that way.
Julieta:
-Her behavior is also very similar to that in the movie, less reserved tho, and more confident.
-Still Alma's favourite.
-Rumored to have been next in line for the throne when Daniela was alive
-Ruthless and efficient when obeying orders, but she doeesnt do it blindly. Voted most likely to hide things behind Alma and Daniela's backs
-Is generally disinterested in bloodshed (shes a doctor), so long as it got the job done.
-Is very fascinated with poisons, becomes even more fascinated when Isa was given her gift and she had a whole phase. Daniela lets her have free reign of experimenting with some lackeys so long as she cures them afterwards.
-Doesnt actually cook all the time. She makes tinctures or dried herbs that can be added into a dish, and can be sold as an everything medicine. Its most potent for dishes she actually cooks, ofc
-Prefers the most casual ware at home, tracks and sandals and long sleeved shirts, but business casual when shes at work or at Daniela's
Pepa:
-Is secretly Daniela's favourite when she was alive. She was closer to Daniela compared to Alma, since she was the more understanding of her wild emotions and how to control them
-She doesnt curb her emotions. Instead, she is almost always shielding herself with an umbrella or wide brimmed hat, both of which gifts from Daniela, and eventually Felíx. Almost because if she forgets herself and rains, its because someone pissed her tf off and is about to die. Or its Felíx.
-Relished wealth and power the most. Loved jewellery and fancy clothes
-Violence is not the answer. Violence is the question, and the answer is yes.
-Prefers subtle weapons. Usually she just hits them with hail or lightning.

One shot ahead, Alma and my OC, Daniela, arguing over Julieta's relationship with Agustin. Agustín surname here is Gonzalez, cus i do not know his actual maiden name lol.
&&&&
The old wood of the stairs do not creek from how lightly Julieta steps, and how tightly she grips the railing. From the dining area, the two familiar voices are loud enough to be distinguishable, not so that she could successfully parse what they were saying. The voices are low, reminiscent of two angered adults well-versed in intimidation, and it cancels out the other.
Julieta isn't one for gossip, or eavesdropping, but some words are clear enough to be understood. Words like business and family and Agustín Gonzalez
When she gets to the bottom of the stairs, the small nook that separates the dining room from the visible hall, she is both dissapointed and unsurprised to see her siblings, poised calmly and quieter than she had ever seen them. She doesnt even know when each of them had left their respective rooms, or how long theyd been there.
Bruno spots her first, of course, and pulls her into the shade of Pepa's Umbrella. Her cloud is grey and subtle, devoid of wind nor sprinkle-indicative of her-well, their need for discretion.
Pepa glares at her, but Daniela speaks up, and their attention is piqued.
"Look, Alma," she says, with a slight tremble of exasperation, and perhaps even exhaustion. "I understand your concern, and we both know how I care for her. I want the best for her, and your family, and its allowed for her happiness to coincide for what is better for business. He can care for her, and we can make sure of it. Think deeply, cariño, and let not your paranoia cloud her happiness. They would make sure to be together nonetheless, and is it not better for it to be under our watch than right under our noses? Is her rebellion worth your pig headedness?"
As if on cue, Pepa and Bruno's eyes dart quickly to look at her, and she pinches them both. Pepa shakes her off, and Bruno clenches his teeth in an almost hiss, catching himself in time.
"Pig headedness, she says!" Alma hisses instead, with what Julieta is sure a swing of arm for emphasis. "Pig headedness for my caution, the men you surround yourself with-,"
"It's paranoia and you know it, it has nothing to do with the men I surround myself with and if you continue to delude yourself-,"
"Delusional, she calls me next!"
"I vouch for the boy, and so does your daughter, and so does your son-,"
"You vouch for nothing but what is better for business," Alma spits, like venom for how she knows it stings. A cold hearted wench was Daniela, but not for family.
There is silence, charged and heavy. Julieta glances at Bruno, who perches over her shoulder, and he avoids her gaze, equally as meaningfully.
"Give me some time to think about it," Alma finally says, not quite apologetically. A compromise. There is a shuffle of movement, fabric on wood as she dons her scarf.
"Alma," Daniela says, a bit desperately.
The squeak of hinges, and the slamming of a door.
The triplets stay in their nook for a little while longer. Enough for a heavy sigh, more vulnerable than she would care to admit, the shuffle of chair legs on wood.
"Come out now, you little rascals," She finally bids. "I would need to teach you how to be better at eavesdropping"
Pepa's lips thin in guilt, but Bruno has already popped his head out, surveying the scene. Julieta looks out next, and she sees the matriach, so proud and tired, and shuffles warily into her open arms.
"Gracias, Daniela," She mumbles into the thick fabric of her blouse, feeling the gentle press of lips into her temple.
"I apologize if I made things a little sketchier with your mamá," Daniela says softly.
"Are you kidding me?" Bruno chirps. "After an argument like that, she would be much too distracted by being upset with you than she would be with us,"
"Mama just needed some time to think, you know. You didnt need to push," Pepa adds, resting the staff of her umbrella into the crook of her neck.
"Ay, with how little she meets the Gonzalez, I thought she would need to be reminded of reason." Daniela states, decisively. "I thought you would like to see him, before he travels for America shortly this fall...?"
Her face might as well have been on fire, for the strength of her blush. She kicks her brother for the look of judgement on his face, and he scoots for safety with the well worn grooves of practise.
"I did," Julieta admits with a scowl, to hide her embarassment. "Gracias, Daniela," she thanks again, and the matriach responds with a gentle hum, dusting down her shirt.
Pepa frowns. "Are you leaving already?"
"Best Im not here when she returns, my tempest, lest her anger with me clouds her decision."
She was right, of course. This did not make her feel better
Bruno offers her her coat, and they see her out to the carriage outside, where Ricardo and Mateo waits. They help her onto the carriage, and the Madrigals know she would leave shortly. Daniela had no patience for Encanto's inns, neither does she like to linger. Her journey back into the city would be a long one.
They would follow her shortly the following week, and though her mama is nowhere to be seen, Julieta watches her go with a lightness and flutter of hope.
