Have you heard the good news of Gravity Falls?
So I know a lot of my followers are newer and possibly following for my Encanto stuff and I love ALL OF YOU, I swear!
But Gravity Falls has it’s 10 year anniversary today and that show was a huge part of my life back then and I just want to gush about it a bit.
I would have drawn something but I am art-blocking severely and have been for a month or two. But I don’t feel like I should have to draw something to share my love of the show and the community especially. You guys are creative geniuses. The AUs that were created from this show, the stories, the chatting and conspiratorial streak of discussing theories and meanings behind episodes. I loved it, Gravity Falls had (and still has) such a healthy comradery. I fondly remember the hunt for the Bill Cipher statue despite being across the world from it because there was just such good connections (but that jigsaw puzzle was something wasn’t it).
Part of me truely miss it, but it continues to be part of me and my life in even just the smallest manner. And I am hoping to continue a couple of my projects and finishing up some loose ends.
If you’ve never heard of Gravity Falls, give it a shot, I beg of you. It is enjoyable, dramatic and just such a great experience.
If you’re still here from the Gravity Falls days, I LOVE YOU!
And STAY WEIRD!

“The Art of Learning to Draw Bruno Madrigal while Struggling with Art Style” - A sketchdump (part 2)
Here’s another sketchdump, I had a bit of a backlog. Still struggling with his hair and my style, but I’m getting more comfortably drawing random expressions. Top left is probably my favorite but I can’t say why and I wouldn’t be able to recreate it. Ah, the curse of art sometimes

“The Art of Learning to Draw Bruno Madrigal while Struggling with Art Style” - A sketchdump (part 1)
I’ve been using Bruno as the face for my warmup doodles in an attempt to learn him and his hair but the new Disney influence in my art is causing some... fighting. So here is a random mess of Brunos!
The top colored one (green) is what my style used to be close to. So yeah, I’m experimenting. Also yellow suits Bruno surprisingly well!

Alma: “The Encanto needed us.”
Bruno: “I needed you too, Mamá!”

Sometimes confrontation is good for the soul. I was doing some practice on intense emotions and stumbled into this. Figuring out the background just about killed me though!

Did another DTIYS! This is @ramshackledtrickster DTIYS of their Encanto Owl House AU Bruno.
Had a lot of fun with this, never had to draw ghostly rats or goo before! Really pleased with the rat and the trail to be honest, it was fun to draw something a little creepy

More of @ramshackledtrickster Encanto Owl House AU!
Cirro’s (Pepa’s palisman) design was posted and it said Cirro probably gave Felix a hard time which immediately made me think of a certain parrot
So here is Cirro pretending Felix injured him for the pity points
