HELP SAVE CHRIS THE CAT

Hey there, everybody! Hope everyone's doing wonderful!

This is Chris! He's a cat who shows up in my house once in a while. We always feed him and give him water, he has a lil house outdoors for him. I already have 8 pets so I can't adopt him but I try to care for him as best as I can.

Well, on Sunday he showed up here pretty beaten up.

We took him to an animal hospital on monday. The total came out to 1175 BRL or 234.60 USD. It may not seem like a lot but I was pretty much left with almost no money. He had to stay there overnight which is what made the bill so expensive.

Today, we went to pick him up and it turns out he had to stay there for another night which came out to 400 BRL or 79.86 USD. The doctors are still running tests to figure out what's going on, but they said it'll be a long process. He has very deep bruises in his neck, face and paw. He probably won't be discharged so soon and even then, we'll have to take him in to change the bandages DAILY.

I'm worried because I'm running out of money, so if anybody could donate or commission me, it would be much appreciated.

All the money will go to keeping him at the hospital for as long as he needs (I'd hate to have to bring him home before it's time because he's in a lot of pain), the aftercare and supporting my family because I left all my money at the hospital hehe :')

hello tumblr i am still struggling :3

the long-story-short of my situation:

I got COVID in 2022 and never got better

I was recently diagnosed with Long COVID

I can no longer work physical jobs

I can't do consistent remote work since I can't stay awake during the day

rent as a concept exists and it's $600 a month for me

aaand I'm no where close to reaching my goal.

So, I am once again asking for donations via my ko-fi. Because I don't LIKE asking for donations, I also have commissions up on ko-fi as well!

I need help.

As you guys know, I am and live in Venezuela. My family is colombian, which means most of my relatives still live there. Seeing them means travelling and right I need to do it. My grandma on my dad’s side suffers from dementia and this could be my last time to see her before she stops recognizing me altogether. As it is, she already struggles with names and mostly just remembers my dad’s and his sibling’s names.

My dad is planning on traveling to see my grandma at the end of this month, and I have been putting off doing this because I’ve trying to do some work on the side, but nothing has panned out so far.

I hate having to do this, but I have no other option if I really wanna see my grandma. There are other expenses I am having to cover right now, like some doctor’s appointment and stuff like that, but my main objective is to visit my grandma when my dad goes see her.

Things aren't going good, sadly.

For some reason, this check is less than typical, so I don't even have enough to cover my rent and car insurance, let alone the rest of my car payment. With the freezer acting up and making the fridge act stupid, I'm very likely going to have to throw out all the food I have left there and I do not know what I can do to fix it. So I'm putting my stubbornness aside - fighting tears and panic - to ask for help.

Anything can help, I'm short about 250 to cover at the very least the bills, luckily I got food for Rex, so he will at least be covered even if I won't be. one of my tires on my car is dry rotting and at the moment i cannot afford to replace it, let alone fix damages if it blows. unfortunately and fortunately this has lead me to discover that the previous owner of my car put the wrong size tires on the vehicle and so now i need to replace ALL of them instead of just one or two for the time being, which I, again, really cannot afford. my current paycheck is going towards rent, my phone bill, electric, and groceries. that leaves me with maybe $150 left over for 2 weeks.

my local tire/body shop has tires for $76/ea with installation that’s $50, so i need about $350 to get my tires replaced. i’m hoping my stepdad will allow me to use one of his vehicles over the weekend as i have 3 days off next week to get the replacement done.

Due to my homelessness is still indefinite and I have not figured out where I can be temporarily while looking for affordable housing, I need to stay at the hotel for the rest of March. However I usually just try to book several days at a time rather than an entire month because funds are limited. I need help

I don't ever make posts like these but I don't know what to do right now.

My mental health has kept me from working for awhile. I have depression, anxiety, and adhd that make day to day things difficult never the less trying to work a job. My boyfriend and I live in a very rundown home we are responsible for repairing with our own set of bills. This leaves... not much money afterward. I've been receiving foodstamps for a little while to try to help the situation but that's stopped due to a mix up in the mail.

Today our phones were shut off because the bill is behind. This leaves our only way of continued contact to be internet and that's behind too. We were already struggling with groceries.

I need help. Anything. No one around us is able to help us and we don't know what to do.

I can't do much, but if you'd want a small story or something written in exchange I would happily do so. I'll return the help in whatever small ways I'm limited to. Happily.

I hate asking this. I really really do. The last time I publicly asked for help it was when my dog had cancer, that's how badly I don't want to do this. But we are so far out of options.

Hello my dearies,

Kallin here with a quick update (and a terrible picture just to show I'm still alive, if barely. Haven't had a proper shower in a week cuz I'm scared to get this stupid monitor wet, and the last couple.of days I have been lethargic. But on to the point.

Thanks to some family and family friends, last month's round of bills got taken care of and some of this month has been knocked out as well. However, I'm still not back at work yet since my doctor won't sign off until my appointment tomorrow (at the earliest, I'm hoping I'm not out longer). Not working means no check, so I'm still in a rough spot financially.

My dryer payment is next up to get paid on the 15th and it's $90. My car payment, wifi and Rent are near the end of the month and are $560, $60, and $620 respectively. That's without gas for my car, food for me or Rex, or any small stuff for cleaning or upkeep of the apartment. So any help that can be given is welcome. I'm doing what I can on my end, but mentally I am just not in a good place.

It’s been well over 8 months and we are still in the same spot. Well not really cos our car got totaled. We are looking for help for a room, food, and necessities. If anyone can help or share it would mean the world to us. As you know, I got kicked out for being transgender and gay. My heart hurts. It’s been so rough. Most nights we sleep on the grass or at the park. We are getting so close soon to getting our housing voucher. We just need help for a month or two. I turn 30 on 11/18 and I am looking to buy a wheelchair and help with some other medical funds for my neurological disease (Stiff-Person Syndrome) and transportation for appointments and testing and IVIG. I have a lot of tests, infusions, etc. coming up in the next month, plus speech therapy as my voice has been affected by the disease.

Stiff-person syndrome is a terminal neurological disease, and my treatment has helped me a lot, especially the IVIG. I’d like to be able to keep getting it, but my infusion center is an hour away and it’s $100+ round trip. Plus I have many more appointments related to the disease and testing and treatments for secondary illness that the disease has caused.
