Exactly what the title says. Im in ICU for severe frostbite on both legs (frankly its a miracle i still have them. Or that im alive for that matter)

Good chance I'll need surgery on them later and guess who's still too poor for that? Given the changes theyve been trying to make to tje healthcare system recently, im not sure im covered

This past weekend my little sister @creepynativekid was arrested for public intoxication. The arresting officer called my sister over to him, off the property surrounding the bar she was at and claimed he had seen her down the street, despite having no proof. When her and her friend pushed back on his lie, he claimed they were “belligerently” drunk. He arrested them and manipulated them into taking a breathalyzer immediately by telling them it would be better for them “in the long run” and they spent the night in jail for nothing more than being drunk, smoking a cigarette outside of a bar. The cop didn’t turn on his body cam until my sisters friend asked him to, so there is no proof he called them over. I’ve asked for financial help for my sister before, she is still not in a better situation than she was before (read: poor, brown, gay and in debt) and if she decides to fight the charge, will have to pay legal fees and if not will have to pay a fine with money she doesn’t have. Any help anyone can give is greatly appreciated. Any words of encouragement would as well! This has left her upset, disheartened and afraid of going out again.

I messed up.

I miscalculated by a lot and my bank account is suddenly negative, even after my paycheck.

I somehow need to find 700$ for rent, plus i need to get some groceries and my meds. And I need something for ubers when I get out of work too late for the bus.

I'm waiting on approval for food stamps, I'm doing the best I can given my circumstances. I'm picking up as many extra hours as I can.

My entire life was turned upside down 3 months ago when I came home from therapy to my house on fire and my dad whom I’ve cared for the last 5 years and my cat dead. Thanks to everyone who helped my last post, I was able to get my car checked out.

Unfortunately, she's so old and broken down that the mechanic really wasn't sure how she was still... together.

I can take public transportation for most of my shifts, bit in order to get to work at 5am ill need a car or Uber.
