EMERGENCY: CURRENTLY HOMELESS IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Due to my homelessness is still indefinite and I have not figured out where I can be temporarily while looking for affordable housing, I need to stay at the hotel for the rest of March. However I usually just try to book several days at a time rather than an entire month because funds are limited. The prices are always fluctuating for hotels so for 5-7 days it's always in the 600-900 USD range

So I can't edit this to show what it is exactly, but I basically just got shamed by a Facebook "friend" for offering to share this link to get laundry supplies for my birthday. So now I'm miserable and that wasn't what I'd wanted to happen at all.

So if anyone would like to cheer me up, this is my family's Homeless Supplies list. I need as much of the laundry and disinfectant stuff as I can get. Clothes for me (or even my mom, because she still needs pants) would be a huge help, as I lost 40 pounds last year and most of my stuff is too big or it's full of holes. Food is much appreciated by all three of us.

Can't help? Reblog. Don't care/don't want to help? Don't be an asshole about it. Just ignore me or block me or whatever. But I am thankful to everyone who has helped, everyone who continues to help us, and everyone who is inspired to help. It's basically a waiting game with disability at this point for us to get housing, so all I can do is wait and hope.

yah 👍 tl;dr our NOW-ex landlord harassed us for 7 months after trying and failing to run a rental scam. We had an eviction hearing this morning and literally 5 minutes after leaving the courthouse our now-CURRENT landlord sent us a lease to sign and agreed to let us move in this weekend. So yeah a lot of shit happened but 👍

I keep forgetting that I have this tumblr account and I'm sorry. I'm here updating on stuff I haven't updated on here before since it's been weeks.

For those who just want to check the gofundme for the link instead of reading all of it, you can view it here

I have been in a hotel since February 4th of this year and have managed to get funding through GFM and paypal/kofi to remain sheltered. Originally I needed money for extra things like food and such, but I got that resolved, so the money is pretty much about staying sheltered. The other information is in the screenshots and the gofundme itself. I do post in the updates on the gofundme, but I am the most active on my twitter, which you can follow here!

I also share my kofi and paypal due to the fact the minimum wait for donation transactions is 2 business days, so sometimes I will not get that in time. Unless its a really large donation, when it's less than 2 days for me to pay for the hotel again, just donate to my Kofi or Paypal instead.

I just got kicked out of my house and I’m fucking terrified. I’ve been homeless before, I never want to do that again. I have animals. I want money to at the very least, lay on someone’s couch or stay in a motel. If you can give, please consider it. Otherwise, reblogs are very much appreciated.

i do not trust people who shop at shein i'm sorry like there's no excuse for it. i can understand amazon, i can understand a lot of fast fashion, but shein is uniquely awful. and their clothes fall apart in a week so you can't even keep them and mend them. "but i'm poor" okay and you don't need to buy from shein about it. "they sell shirts for $3" so does michael's check ur local craft store and make a design urself if u want. you cannot seriously tell me that you had no other option other than shein

So, hopefully, I can get this all out tonight as I'm not able to concentrate really well at the moment.

Good news first! Sally is not bleeding at the moment, and I also have a lead to follow up on later this morning about getting the vet care covered, though I do have to pay for some of it. There's also the chance that the veterinarian who came to the shelter could come back, so there's that, too.

I got my phone number and plan transferred to my new phone, and I've managed to get everything back card wise (it's going to take about a month to get everything but it's all on its way). I'm still a little worried I'll get screwed over later, but I have a fraud alert program in place through AAA, so I just need to alert them and see what they can do.

Now the bad news! Not too bad, but I had to take out some loans to try and cover rental application fees, so my mom and I each owe $294 to Possible Loans due in installments (hers are spread out over June and July, mine are two payments due on the 3rd of June and July). I also had to take out more on my mom's Moneylion loan, so now she owes $300 on the 3rd of June.

I mostly want to cover her and my Moneylion loans, which is around $500 total, but if I can get $147 to cover that first Moneylion payment of mine as well that would be a huge help. Keeping the same goal as I'd like to apply to more apartments ASAP, though.
