My last post lost traction, and I’m still in desperate need of help. On November 21st, 2023, my father who I cared for and my cat passed away in a house fire while I was at an appointment. Forgot to post this on friday but we were able to get him a room for a week!! Shorty wanted to thank everyone.

We are still both so amazed at the amount of support everyone has given him. Our hearts are full. when he sat on the bed he said,

"is this what a bed feels like?!"

Theres still a lot we need to get situated. I'm going to give him a haircut, and my lovely neighbor was able to give us some info for a program that helps with medical care!

He's been getting lots of rest, and after cleaning up, his legs are looking SO much better.

We are still waiting for the rest of the funds to transfer, so there will be more updates in the coming weeks.

Lost job and brink of losing home

i hate to do this again but i lost my job due to retaliation disguised as it being my performance , my job has been trying to cut me off for awhile and finally after holding on they let me go. im currently unemployed and searching for a new job daily, waiting for callbacks, i dont have much longer in this lease and my landlord is hostile im afraid if he were to find out i lost my job he would look for any excuse to have me evicted. i just need to survive here till december and im free. i really dont want to end up losing everything ive spent 3 long years achieving on my own i really dont like asking for help unless it was actually dire. i dont have long till october is up and i still need to finish paying off my rent and then rent next month, if i can somehow reach 2k in the next 2 weeks i would be so greatful. even just a dollar goes a long way, especially if alot of people donate even a dollar it can add up so fast, if you really cannot spare a dollar, any sort of boost or sharing of my post would be so appreciated.

PLEASE READ!!!

at a recent dentist visit i was found to have a few urgent issues that will soon start seriously affecting my health if left untreated. in ways, my health is already being affected by them and i would really really like to stop it from progressing

unfortunately the total for the treatment i need is a completely unmanageable number, $5k, that my insurance will not cover — and that’s WITH the office’s discount plan and an itemized bill.

im really not fond of asking for help like this but i really cannot even fathom how to come up with this type of money. im already backed up with work and severely burnt out. of course i will continue working but i cannot take new comms right now

🏳️‍⚧️ Top Surgery Funding 🏳️‍⚧️

As most of you know at this point, things are getting scary for trans people in America recently. With that being said, I don't know how much longer I'll legally be allowed to get this surgery seeing as I live in a red state. It's not the reddest state ever, but it's still getting pretty bad. I would love to be able to get top surgery by this time next year. I do believe that to be possible with enough help.

I don't know the exact amount the surgery will cost as I have not yet had my consultation. Seeing as I don't have insurance and based on how much I've seen others spend, I think $10k is pretty close to what I'll likely be spending. I'll be sure to update when I do have an exact number.

Update: I don't qualify for my state government insurance and the job I'm in the process of starting doesn't have insurance, so this will be completely out of pocket, so this number is staying as is unless my eventual consultation tells me otherwise.

Been a minute since I posted on my tumblr but, this is a better time than ever; I have a few announcements.

First, I’ve just recently started my transition and am now, she/they. 🏳️‍⚧️✨

Second, Me and my partner started a gofundme in order help fund our escape from the south. We’re currently living in one of the more conservative and anti-bipoc/anti-trans part of the southern US and need assistance fleeing. Outside of how dangerous it is for us and the violence we’re facing, it’s also been very isolating living here as we have lost contact with our family..

We are moving to the PNW where we can have better gender affirming health care, more equitable healthcare in general and be in/find a new community. Hopefully one where a newly transitioned, black trans fem (myself) would be less likely to experience acts of violence and fatal hate crimes simply for existing.

We have to vacate where we currently live on Sept 28th so please help us crowdfund.

queer latina desperately needs help. ($495/999)

i'm drowning and i don't know how much more of this i can take. the last few months have been the worst of my life.

i've lost two close friends. i've been learning about my abuse as a child and later SA on top of my already existing mental illnesses and other diagnosis. as if i needed more trauma, my cats, my babies, have been terribly sick.

i've already lost one (chompy, bottom right) to kidney disease. toothless and copper (right side) needed emergency dentals and we nearly lost toothless. then chachi (top left), my light, got a tumor and i got the worst news of my life. her breast cancer is back and it's aggressive. idk what i'm going to do without her.

everything has amounted to $999 and that's only so far. i'm a struggling, queer latina who is the breadwinner of my family of 5 (two of which are my parents who were/are my abusers and i cannot afford to leave) and i make below the average salary.
