Once again, please stop reblogging from lesbian-archives. They have tags for rad feminism, "gynocentricism", "womb envy", antiprostitution, and separatists tags along with other similar terminology in terf and swerf communities on their blog. It's literally within the most used tags when you go to search. Plus they used to reblog from terfs often enough and use said tags until they decided to be a lil more cryptic I guess....

It’s weird how fans of the character feel that canon Sansa quotes from the books is anti Sansa. Meanwhile Arya and Jon stans have to deal with murder baby Arya and incompetent Jon or unrelated quotes randomly put together to rewrite relationships. Maybe that's why the Arya and Jon tags are so full of headcanon Sansa that most of the time feels like an unrecognizable OC.

And then in the comments there is someone who has ‘not read the books in years’ telling me that I lack reading comprehension 😂

And this is while there is so much racist Arya fanart from Sansa stans on the Arya Stark tag despite repeated requests from poc to stop doing this.

It's honestly so depressing to go on the Arya Stark tag and see fanart on the tag or sidebars - because racist art is so popular in fandom!! - where canonically white Arya is differentiated from her more classically beautiful sister by simply drawing her in darker skin tones. At this point it's clear that artists are aware of the racist implications of doing this and still continue to do this because they don't care.

And yet using a Sansa book quote is supposedly 'anti Sansa' and needs to be tagged as such. I guess the tags should only be used for headcanons of racist caricatures of ‘ugly’ Arya and beautiful blue eyed, whitey white Sansa being the best sisters ever and nothing else.

I think the problem for many Sansa stans is that they stay in their echo chambers with their made up headcanons so that when they do venture outside that chamber to posts by other readers on the tag using the books, they are shocked and think there is some sort of unfair crusade going on against their fave.

I am not saying staying within fandom spaces is totally wrong btw. We all curate our fandom experiences on Tumblr. This app in particular allows us to block out ships or opinions we don’t particularly like. I am sure my group of mutuals and fans, including me, who reblog and follow posts have a similar kind of groupthink.

However, what’s fascinating with Sansa stans in particular is that Sansa is so much of a self-insert at this point that 90% of the character is headcanons. Her most popular ships are crackships, her relationships with her siblings has been re-written, she is now the underdog and outcast etc.

This has happened to me so many times - I make a post, a Sansa stan responds saying I am wrong, I don’t know how to read, I am a hater etc., I respond with book quotes and ask them to read the books, I am called uncivil and then immediately blocked (they just have to get that last word in!) Rinse and repeat.

Take the post that got me the above message for example.

“I’m not like Arya,” Sansa blurted. “She has the traitor’s blood, not me.” - Sansa, AGoT

This is really not what happens in that chapter at all. Sansa does not really think of Arya, admits to forgetting about her at the end and it’s only in the next chapter she thinks that Arya may have gotten away on the galley Ned had arranged for them (Which does not happen thanks to Sansa’s tattling of Ned’s plans and Cersei placing Lannister guards on the galley).

At this point Arya is still trapped in KL trying to get out and it’s only been 3 days since Ned has been arrested. However, as per this person, Sansa is begging them not to torture and kill her and therefore names Arya, who she thinks is already safe in Winterfell, 3 days after the Starks and their men are taken down....

In the OP, I have used the most basic quotes, but in the actual chapter it’s far worse. Sansa is actually still dreaming of marrying beautiful prince Joffrey when she is taken to meet Cersei:

That night Sansa dreamt of Joffrey on the throne, with herself seated beside him in a gown of woven gold. She had a crown on her head, and everyone she had ever known came before her, to bend the knee and say their courtesies.

“Sweet Sansa,” Queen Cersei said, laying a soft hand on her wrist. “Such a beautiful child. I do hope you know how much Joffrey and I love you.”

“You do?” Sansa said, breathless. Littlefinger was forgotten. Her prince loved her. Nothing else mattered. (---)

“She is a sweet thing now, but in ten years, who can say what treasons she may hatch?”

“No,” Sansa said, horrified. “I’m not, I’d never … I wouldn’t betray Joffrey, I love him, I swear it, I do.” (---)

“And yet, I fear that Lord Varys and the Grand Maester have the right of it. The blood will tell. I have only to remember how your sister set her wolf on my son.”

“I’m not like Arya,” Sansa blurted. “She has the traitor’s blood, not me. I’m good, ask Septa Mordane, she’ll tell you, I only want to be Joffrey’s loyal and loving wife.” - Sansa, AGoT

And then at the very end of the chapter:

It was not until later that night, as she was drifting off to sleep, that Sansa realized she had forgotten to ask about her sister. - Sansa, AGoT

So yes, Sansa is scared of not being able to marry Joffrey anymore, frightened of being accused as a traitor like her father and therefore throws out Arya’s name as the traitor - when as far as she knows Arya is in KL and Lannisters could have Arya, the same as her.

Next,

This is the funniest part! - ‘I haven’t read these books in a few years, however, it’s you who is very much lacking reading comprehension’ 😂😂😂

Make it make sense please. And then we are back to the usual Sansa is just a child, she’s 11 goddammit! She’s a teeny tiny baby! It’s totally justified for her to throw her even younger 9 year little sister under the bus as a traitor to be tortured or killed by the likes of Joffrey and Cersei instead of her.

And then finally, the predictable conclusion:

Because of course made up headcanons are ‘alternative interpretations’ and if we point out it’s fanfiction then we are being uncivil.

I can only say that I am glad that my side of the fandom don’t engage in this much fanfiction, projections and headcanons. It’s frustrating as a book fan to be told that I lack reading comprehension because I don’t accept their ‘alternative interpretations’ of how Sansa thinks Arya is safe in Winterfell three days after the Lannisters massacred all the Stark men and imprisoned Ned stark. And while Arya herself is still stuck inside KL unable to leave.

At this point I really do think there is no point in engaging with these stans because they are not doing this in good faith. Just block rather than waste time discussing. They seem to think that we need to accept their headcanons as book canon and if we don’t then we are simply anti Sansa posting anti Sansa stuff on the tags. It’s certainly a fascinating fandom aspect of a self insert fan favorite. It’s the reason she wins polls above more complex and well written characters in the books, the popular version of her is entirely about what fans project onto the character rather then actual written version in the books.

“tiktoks just as bad as tumblr!” no tiktoks so much worse i go on tumblr and say “scrimbob my plobmlewikle” and 5 blogs reblog it, i post that to tiktok and i get 3 comments explaining how cool and edgy the commenter is for having seen my video, for being on the “scrimbob side of tiktok” and the joke gets run into the ground within a week until i am told to yoink myself off a plane for having even started the joke.

an artist on tumblr posts something with anatomy issues, they don’t become the new laughing stock of the week.* one tiktoker put the eyes a bit higher on their drawing and they are still made fun of, and was run off the platform entirely for reasons that had little to no backing. people mimicking their style in this awful manner, drawing nsfw content to pin to their name [keep in mind, they were maybe 14?], and when the artist was redug up from the grave of content tiktok has run into the dirt people proclaimed that their art had improved, not of the artists own voilition; but because of the harassment they received. that this was an example of bullying working.*

content on tiktok has the live span of a fly. it’s born, discarded and left to rot within days. discourses start and die before anyone can even give a full breakdown of a situation because the app is designed for shortform content. it’s algorithm is addictive and designed to be addictive. it works, as much as i hate it. and with how fast trends begin and die, entire music genres are cast aside as “tiktok music” and as “embarrassing to listen to”, entire art styles, fashion styles, lingo misappropriated from aave by white teens who overuse it to the point they deem it cringe*, and along with their no longer trendy niche micro trend, they toss it away. deem it weird. record people in public who wear it, record people in public who say it.* it’s a self sustaining ecosystem that only works to harm the teens who use it. i don’t blame the teenagers and tweenagers who use tiktok, who quote the sounds, who recycle the barely-argumentative arguments, i blame the app.

*1 :it’d be weird for me to not talk about situations in tumblr, like the infamous rose quarts artist, who were run off the platform and harrased a few years back. however, i didn’t mention it as i’m trying to directly compare the modern versions of both apps. tumblr has a lot of issues. a lot, but in regard to the way they treat “bad” artists [not that there is such a thing, art is subjective and the only real bad artist in my opinion is an immoral artist] tumblr is a lot more loving towards them. bare minimum. when beginner artists on tiktok are regularly made laughing stock of the week, it discourages people. mutuals i had on the app discussed legitimate fear their art would be the next “rendering process” [the artist i mentioned]. that’s a genuine fear no artist, especially young artist, should have.

*2: tiktok’s ideas surrounding bullying genuinely terrify me. bullying is not something that works with exclusively positives, infact bullying only “works” when it’s perceived through the eyes of the harassers. not something i thought i’d ever have to explain really

*3: the last trend like this in particular i saw was from a white creator who said something to the effect of “im finna be in the pit” in reference to a harry styles concert . i think. idk what else to add other than i’m biased against harry styles . idk . it’s self explanatory really idk . white on white crime . also that tiktoker admitted to zoinking off her bird so i have no idea wtfs going on over there

my main frustrations with tumblr as a twitter import as follows

it has way too many options for organization customization formatting etc. etc. and the amount of thinking i have to do is. more. on twitter i can say "had sex" and like three people will read and go "wow" and it won't mean much but on tumblr it's just not enough?

i spend hours on making blogs pretty and it is not healthy for me. now that i am here after years i feel new to things and suddenly my blog feels not pretty and niche and custom enough. which is not healthy for me.

why does quoting look like that. it's like lame judgemental people have no power on here. have an opinion on something someone else said? ok you're like. in the 12039th tag, or the replies which makes you look like a loser because nobody replies, or you have accidentally had a great opinion that gets reblogged enough for people to actually find it in response to the original post.

in how many ways can one filter reader x character.

what about all the cool mutuals i befriended from two hyperfixations ago. i have to make all my sexy tweets again?? it's like i was never an influencer?? hi! do you know me?! i wrote so much dekubakutodo sex my mutuals muted me until i got into genshin and started writing luckae sex and actually became friends with them

all the muting and blocking i had done on twitter. what do i do when an enemy is on tumblr and we like the same things and i am clueless on them having been cruel in the past.

so what is nsfw policy anyway. what is the etiquette. it will definitely be easier with tags but can tags make you a target of reporting and suspension etc.

i miss all the asian artists who use twitter. or i should simply say non english speaking, because a majority like no other are english speaking users on tumblr. this is honestly the most serious of my frustrations i am keeping it last because i don't want to ruin the mood but. but. i feel like the small bridge that grew between userbases from different countries is going to take a long time to grow here to the extent it did on twitter. maybe never grow at all.

Just a reminder that it's Bisexual Visibility Day 💖💜💙 and I hope all my bi mutuals are having a great day!!! I wanted to touch on how media uses biphobia and bi-erasure for monetary gain. I'll briefly mention some BIPOC examples as well, but since I'm very white I won't go into detail since it's not my place to. If you're BIPOC reblog or comment so I can boost your stories about bisexual BIPOC experiences. Now onto this shortish essay, I promise!!!

So, the quote above is taken from the documentary Making Montgomery Clift (2018) by Robert Clift and Hillary Demmon (Robert's Wife). Robert is Monty's nephew through his older brother Brooks. This documentary is a great lens to look at how Hollywood and various other media portray sexuality or gender identity as an illness or the "root" of the problem.

The quote starts at minute 43:00 in the documentary, Robert is explaining how his father Brooks on a phone call with Patty Bosworth, Monty Clift's biographer and family friend, went wrong. Brooks tried to clear his brother's name of how his substance abuse addictions were not caused by his sexuality, but by the infamous car accident or the painful surgeries he went through as a child and young adult.

Brooks was trying to make Patty understand that Monty's bisexuality wasn't the "root" of his problem. As Robert says in the quote Brooks "urged" family members to get the record right since biographers just like Robert LaGuardia, who ignored editorial notes or the advice from the Clift family.

Patty Bosworth would end up doing the same thing with Monty's "tormented" sexuality and that was the "cause" of his problems. Despite Brooks trying to help re-edit some of Patty's word choices, i.e., when Monty was got having sex with a young man. Patty said it was a young "boy", which enraged Brooks, who knew his brother wasn't a p*dophile because of his bisexuality.

Because Patty ignored Brook's advice, Monty's reputation was tarnished after his death (Bosworth made her book years after Monty died). Brooks even noted to his family that despite the car accident that Monty was in, Monty on record believed his best performances were post-car accident despite the ongoing substance abuse. It had nothing to do with his sexuality.

When Monty died it was discovered that he had an underactive thyroid, which meant he could appear sluggish or drugged even though he was sober at the moment. This illness could've made people believe Monty was not mentally there on set that day when he was actually mentally there. Montgomery Clift's story is a reminder to treat people with respect flaws and all when comes to their bisexuality or gender identity. Monty was also comfortable in his sexuality which was such a rare exception for Hollywood at the time (see Lavender Scare) and he paved the way for more queer actors to have prominence in the entertainment industry.

Despite Monty's story, he is not the only one that has had a reputation tarnished or has an important detail in their life misconstrued. The list of previous people, who's lives has been littered with bi-erasure/biphobia include Anna May Wong, Billy Holiday, Sammy Davis Jr., Cary Grant, and David Bowie.

Since the new century, other people have been erased from the bisexual umbrella or had biphobic remarks made toward them. Some of these people are Lady Gaga, Megan Thee Stallion, Evan Rachel Wood, Alia Shawkat, Frank Ocean, Leslie Cheung, etc. This gross habit made by the media and Hollywood has caused these people to deal with these false narratives about them and have their lives tarnished.

In conclusion, we need to stop people from exploiting one's bisexuality or sexuality/gender expression for monetary gain. Listen to bisexual people about their personal experiences especially if they're a person of color. Bisexuality just like homosexuality is not a disease. Be proud of yourself and how far you've come. Similar to what Magneto said in X-Men 2: United, be yourself and "never let anyone tell you different".

I'll never forget in like 2013 when "it's called fashion look it up" was a huge meme on here in response to any photo of someone wearing something ridiculous & this one time a mutual rbd like a photo of a girl with fish on her feet or whatever like "wtf" & I reblogged it like "it's called fashion look it up" and then they made a vague post about me in spanish but it was obvious it was about me bcus 1 I still had retained some of my limited hs spanish at the time 2 they quoted the meme in english so like.... you thought I wasn't gonna notice?? Hi<3 I wanted to ask you if new directions were on tumblr, how do you think you would interact with them? And what do you think their blogs would be about?

Santana: Mutuals. It was basically confirmed in canon that this girl had a tumblr with her comment about her having a favorite ‘Rizzoli & Isles’ blog.. if that doesn’t scream a tumblr lesbian idk what does lol!! Her entire blog would mainly be devoted to sapphic ships that she would sob about in the tags (think overuse of emojis and keyboard smashes)! She would have a pretty decent following and get quite a few asks where she would give headcanons and meta on her favorite ships. She also wouldn’t tell a soul that she’s on there but Brittany would find out and lovingly tease her about it.

Tina: I follow her but she doesn’t follow me. She would be on tumblr constantly! She would have one of those super popular multifandom blogs that makes the most crisp gifs and has hundreds of requests waiting in her inbox. At first you’d be a bit intimidated by her until you realize she is the sweetest and is always super nice about giving tips and resources for gif making!

Sam: I don’t follow him but he follows me. His tumblr would consist of almost 100% memes with no organization/tagging system. Instead of tags, he would leave comments under posts like “woah this is sick dude 🤩” or “nice!!! 👍” which would in turn make a good amount of people block him because they would think he’s some bot or sarcastic troll when in reality they are always genuine comments. He would be the king of spam reblogging to the point that if you did follow him he would overwhelm your dash. Though, every once and awhile there would be a very detailed & coherent post by him about ‘True Jackson, VP’ with links to a petition to get it renewed/rebooted.

Blaine: Mutuals. You just know he would make the best tumblr mutual! He would definitely be that one mutual that you can always count on to like and reblog your content and he would leave the most thoughtful tags. His blog would be a variety of all his interests (he originally tried to have separate side blogs but it was too much for him to keep up with!) but it’s extremely well organized and mainly runs on a queue.

Kurt: I follow him but he doesn’t follow me. His tumblr would be very curated and definitely fit a certain aesthetic. I picture it mostly consisting of reblogs of fashion, films, art, food, etc. But multiple times a week he would post blank text posts with super long rants in the tags with a lot of cussing and the last tag would be #delete later.

Brittany: Mutuals. Everything she posts would be super cheerful & colorful (envision loads of rainbows & cats). She is known for sending asks since she absolutely loves sending her mutuals the most offbeat questions. You can also always rely on her if you’re having a bad day to send you a random quote or fact that will make you smile.

Mike: Mutuals. He would truly have the most chill blog and reblog anything that catches his eye but not in a way where it overloads your dash. He also is someone who follows back almost everyone who follows him and sends a lot of kind asks & leaves nice tags on your original content. He would never get involved in any fandom drama and would only have one filtered tag which is ‘Channing Tatum’.

Puck: Mutuals (mostly for entertainment purposes on my end). He’d be the one to act like he’s never even heard of tumblr but secretly runs his own fic blog mainly for the soap opera he compulsively watches with his mom & sister. He also occasionally enjoys posting snippets of the various screenplays he’s working on. He prides himself on staying anonymous so he uses a pen name and changes the names of everyone he writes about but does an awful job at picking out new names (changes Puck to Huck, Finn to Binn, etc)!

Finn: Neither one of us follows one another. Actually didn’t know what tumblr was until he saw the app on Puck’s phone and noticed him spending a lot of time on it so he got curious. Months later he still has no clue on what the point of tumblr is and has pretty much given up on trying to properly use it. He has a few text posts screaming into the void but they have no engagement. Though he did somehow link his instagram so that still updates.

Mercedes: Mutuals. Her tumblr consists mainly of reblogs for her favorite celebrities, tv shows, & movies. She also has gotten into the habit of live blogging for a few of her top shows and her commentary is so good that you wouldn’t dare to unfollow her or filter her tags for it, even for the shows you didn’t have any interest in previously. She’s the mutual that has such great taste that you find her continuing to influence what media you want to consume next!

Quinn: Mutuals. Her blog is a mix of literature, art, philosophy etc which does make it have an overall pretty “classy” feel but the vast majority of it is also just very, very, very, gay.. to the point where half of what she reblogs is of women kissing/being affectionate with one another. She also eventually dabbles in writing some femslash & it’s very good stuff…

Artie: Neither one of us follows one another. Has a decent following due to his film reviews (he also blocks anyone who disagrees with any of his opinions). He’s also heavily involved in various popular fandoms like Star Wars and Marvel which leads to him getting into some very intense discourse which results in more blocking.

Rachel: Mutuals (on thin ice). Posts super nice aesthetics & moodboards. Though unfortunately, she would be that tumblr mutual who gets into heated debates with anons constantly and is such an easy target because she can’t recognize when people are trolling her so she takes the bait every time. But, fairly often it does get to the point where she actually ends up exhausting the anons with her long written responses.

Hi. I love polyamorous Scooby Gang (it is the superior ship imo) but I feel really weird because I like Shelma as a ship (obviously within the bigger ship) but I feel kind of alone. I didn't really watch Mystery Incorporated so I feel like there is this anger that I don't know. Like I literally just discovered all this hate recently and I just feel weird, like I support something that might be wrong. Just wanted to ask you because not every person ships the gang as poly.

Hi Anon, here are my thoughts that i will share with you.

The Shelma hate, i believe, is mostly due to their portrait in SDMI where, for some reason, they decided to write Velma being THE ABSOLUTE WORSE to Shaggy doing things like, quoting directly from @frick-it-all-to-hecc og “Canon Lesbian Velma is good. Canon Lesbian Velma abusing her male partner is Bad” post (i will talk more about it later):

Belittling shaggy

Physically harming him

Isolating him from his best friend (in this case Scooby-Doo who has all the same importance and weight as human characters in the show)

Forcing him to be uncomfortable to fit her needs

Using her anger to manipulate him into doing what she wanted

Later they tried to retcon it being saying "it was supposed to feel wrong because Velma is a closeted lesbian" after the series ended but that shit doesn't fly for a number of reasons, one of them being that kind of narrative feeds into the predatory/evil gays trope (i already have a reblog of @frick-it-all-to-hecc post where i add to the discussion if you want to see it HERE)

Before Mystery Incorporated shat the bed, the Shelma shippers had good content to make their base.

In “Scooby Doo, Where are You?” Shaggy is the one that has Velma’s spare glasses with him. Velma knows when he is sick and has his medicine in her pockets.

In “Shaggy and Scooby Doo, Get a Clue” after spending a long period of time away from the gang, when they are reunited, Shaggy asks her to repeat “Jinkies” because he misses her saying it.

In the second live action movie “Scooby Doo 2, Monsters Unleashed” they have a beautiful heart to heart about how Velma views Shaggy and Scooby not as the screw ups they believe themselves to be but as free people that are not afraid of being who they truly are.

In “Be Cool Scooby Doo” they engage in each others interests (Shaggy engaging with a book about the history of the pretzel while Velma eats said pretzel)

The are other moments and interactions through out the 50 years that Scooby doo has been on the air (I recommend watching all of it to really get a grasp on the dynamics and free yourself from the pop culture understanding of things like, fun fact, on “Scooby Doo, Where are you?” the ones that were kidnapped the most where Shaggy and Scooby, not Daphne.)

The only thing stoping you from shipping Shelma are the following:

You don’t vibe with it.

You only watched SDMI and nothing else and assume you have a perfect grasp on 50 years on the franchise and the inner dynamics... somehow

and that’s it.

For me, with my poly gang, the dynamics grown and change the more i work with them but Shaggy and Velma are working with a mutual supporting relationship built over years together (some of that is build upon the canon, others are my own additions).

Sharing interests (Velma is deeply intrigued with magic and its properties and Shaggy, as a young wizard, loves sharing his researches with her), bonding over their experiences as older siblings, gardening together, doing sports together (Velma lifts weights aka Shaggy + some heavy books because the boy weights the same as a feather for her, while Shaggy does gymnastics over Velma’s strong shoulders Maybe i should draw this someday) and many little other things that are just theirs and many little other things that are theirs and Daphne’s and Fred’s.

That’s the thing I love the most about poly gang.

It’s a merry-go-round of love that spins and spins around its own axis, never faltering. Sometimes the spinning changes, going either way too fast or way too slow or sometimes it goes backwards or stops abruptly, sometimes it spins in a comfortable familiar rhythm and stays like that for a long time with only the songs changing to show that indeed time is passing around them.

And if one of them falls from their horse, knocked out by the sudden speed, the unexpected stops or just by sitting kinda weird on the saddle, they have the certainty that 3 other pairs of hands are going to be there to help them get on their mount again.

PSA: Gilderoy Lockhart X Rita Skeeter New Ship Name | Skeeteroy

Soooo Byrone @utterlybyrone and I were discussing the existence of Gilderoy Lockhart and Rita Skeeter as a ship, because I was saying that I had seen them shipped together once in a fic — and they were dating in the same year at Hogwarts and both were in House Ravenclaw (edit: if someone remembers the fic name please tag/add/reblog so I can give credit!!).

AND, in the absence of a ship name for the pairing, Byrone suggested Gilta, Gilda, and this: Skeeteroy.

Well. Once I stopped wheezing at how fantastic a name that is for a ship, I then told Byrone that I would tag them every time I used the term “Skeeteroy.” 💀

I’ve decided to go one step further: can we make Skeeteroy™ a thing for that ship??? Because I have to be honest with you, I’m not altogether sure there is an official name for that pairing. And even if there is one already, Skeeteroy is better. Fight me and @utterlybyrone

Edit: Even though I’ve only seen the ship in ONE fanfic (it was a Time Travel AU Snamione fic), (and as @utterlybyrone said, the ship pretty much seems to barely exist in the HP fandom) I think the pairing makes sense.

Why?

1. Gilderoy and Skeeter are both ladder-climbing socialites who are full of both street smarts and ambition

2. Both of them would be willing to do very bad things™ to become successful. (see Gilderoy trying to Obliviate Harry and Ron, and see Skeeter airing the private lives of teenagers to get increased readership)

3. Both of them value their appearance and their reputation more than anything else

4. Both of them love their trademarks. Gilderoy: teeth, hair, robes. Skeeter: hair, glasses, Quick Quotes Quill.

5. Headcanon: Both of them may or may not absolutely 110% live by the motto “fake it ‘til you make it.”

6. Gilderoy is a Halfblood and Rita is a Halfblood too (some sources say Pureblood). Either way, they would have spent a lot of time in the Wizarding World, and they both know how to navigate it — and most importantly, they both know who the powerful people are. So they would be useful to each other. Additionally, Skeeter (being part of the press) could help to hide Gilderoy’s fraudulent work and make him seem more credible. Gilderoy could shower praise on Rita Skeeter at every book signing, and the people would love her even more.

7. Idk, he gives me very very hetero himbo energy. She gives me bi/pan energy. Either way, they’re both fashion icons. And she’s a beetle. Idk what that means for their pairing, but it seems important.

8. Headcanon: Both of them definitely would have been invited to the Slug Club.

9. Gilderoy was in Ravenclaw. Headcanon: Rita was in Ravenclaw in the fic I read, but I also think she could have easily been (perhaps) in Slytherin. These two have a similar mentality: brains over brawn.

10. I’m sure there are more reasons. Anyway. Vote SKEETEROY for 2022!!! We’re bringing this bad boy to life @utterlybyrone

Hello there! Since for some reason there is now over 1000 of you following this sideblog, and many weren't around when I first posted an introduction, I decided to create a new one. Plus in less then a month this blog will turn 1 year old! So, I guess this is a good moment to do this.

about me

my name is Cris, I'm 22, I'm bi, and I use she/her pronouns out of habit, but honestly I couldn't care less

I'm from Italy

I study history in university, and I am currently at the end of my third year (it should tecnically be my last year, but I still have a few exams left, plus my final thesis, so I will be graduating a bit later)

I have studied languages in high school so I also speak English (duh) and a bit of French (I have forgotten the majority of things I had learned in my German class, but I'd like to pick it up again)

I'm a pagan witch, I love gardening and nature in general, and one of my biggest hobbies is to dry my own herbs to mix them into herbal teas

other hobbies include reading, drawing, writing, cooking and going on walks in the woods

I created this studyblr/bookblr/whatever last year, to help me stay motivated, and it has worked very well so far. I like to think of this blog as a journal more than everything
