"Think you can handle it?" he asked, fingertips digging into her waist as if to prove the point, pulling her closer so he could roll his hips into hers, his jeans providing delicious friction against the fabric of her leggings.
A desperate wave of desire, something like longing but strong enough to almost be a need, coursed through her at the question. It escaped in a small gasp as his teeth tugged at her ear, tongue running against the lobe in dizzying ways. There was no way she'd be able to form a sentence if he continued that.
So, Nina tangled her fingers in his hair, tugging at the long curls so that his head tilted back and Ash looked her in the face.

My favorite thing about Barbie (2023 dir. Greta Gerwig) is that when Gloria decided to track down the beautiful woman she saw being taken away in unmarked black vehicles and liberate her from not only her employer but also the FBI, she had NO plan. She rolled up to Mattel's front door and had not thought it through beyond "find her."
