ok, so.

we know stiles is a pending accident on long legs. this isn't a secret.

but what if some member of the pack (maybe a mother henning Scott? or curious Allison? hell, maybe goddamn Isaac being a nosy bitch) accidentally catches a glimpse of a shirtless Stiles, and. just. bruises. bruises all over. from nip to goddamn hip.

cue...whoever...losing their shit via mass text to everyone else in the pack, because??? je m'fuhkin escuse? thu fucc??

I mean they are understandably Worried, bc those are so not lacrosse bruises. they would have seen that shit happen, and definitely heard about it too, because Stiles is unafraid to whine loudly, at great volume...well, unless he's actually hurt. so the fact that he's said nothing?

they are totally having guilt spirals, wondering is Grumpy Brows was right about wolves being too rough to be safe around humans, and is that why didn't he say anything??? bc he's spiteful and didn't want have to admit maybe Derek was right? bc omg, he'd totally not mention deep tissue bruising just to spite Derek.

(cue lots of Scott hand wringing and worried frowns. maybe even Derek staring melodramatically out of windows too dusty for even him to see out of bc he's Like That)

......yeah, no, that's not what's going on, at all.

bc, see, Stiles is friends with the ladies from the Jungle. They are his best bitches, and he's learned not to bitch about a few minor bruises after hanging around people who routinely put on staggeringly tight compression tights and five inch high heels. Never mind the plucking and waxing.

It only took one Amateur Drag Night for him to learn to "suck it up, buttercup."

but anyway. they are his besties from other people's testes, and so drag his happy ass into shenanigans as often as possible.

...which includes pole classes at the local rec center, Thurs afternoons and every other Sunday evening.

and yeah, the bribe of free food following a two hour Lady Guhgah boogy sesh in short shorts is a nice bribe, but he doesn't really need to be bribed to hang out with them. They're a fuhkin blast to hang out with, and have some Stories.

(and also don't ignore him when he asks if they think he could be attractive to gay guys)

and ofc, though he only came for the good music and better company, he'd still put his entire ass into it and get really good at it. bc, as the queens have taught him, if he's not serving absolute cunt when the opportunity arises, why even bother.

but before all that, while he's still learning?

he'd bruise.

a lot. like? a lot a lot a lot.

bc the thing tv and movies don't tell you about pole dancing is that part of the trick is training your skin to kinda...stick? suction on? to the pole like Cameron Diaz stuck to the car windshield in That One Scene in The Counselor.

(but he doesn't talk about that movie. or that scene. bc some things just need to be forgotten.)

in those early days, while he was still clenching more than clinging, in between getting dumped on his dump-truck, he admittedly looks like he's been PvPing the Hulk for funsies. Or picking fights with Creepy Grandpa Argent. Or just, like, generally slamming himself into walls.

1. In season 1 when Ian visits Mickey in jail. “Say that again and I rip your tongue out of your head” There were so many perfect Gallavich moments but that was the first one which catched me!

2. When Mark told Lexie about their future and that they were meant to bes while Lexie was dying. It was so fucking sad and unfair but so emotional.

3. Every quote from the Phil's- Osophy

4. Carla and Samuels Macarrones Scene

5. When Wade and Zoe finally got together in the night George wanted to marry Lemon. The sexual tension was fucking incredible and Wade was so fucking hot.

6. When Clove died and screams Cato’s name and Cato came too late and only found her body and cried. (this scene ist only from the book). But I liked the story of Haymitch’s games, too. His alliance with Maysilee. The idea of him being a hot and smart young guy that couldn’t handle the memory of the games and the loss of his loved ones is so emotional and sad.

A storyline that never should have been written:

1. The break up of Ian and Mickey in season 5 only because of Ians mental health. Mickey tried so much to help Ian and Ian blamed Mickey without any reason. I was so furious.

2. Alex leaving Jo for Izzie and Izzie having kids from Alex sperm ???? This was a fucking joke. Yeah, hated the last Alex and Izzie break up and I would have loved seeing them stay together and grow as persons and lovers. I rooted so much for them. There was so much potential and I have to admit I prayed for her coming back and saving the relationship. Even years after her exit because of all the open questions but I never thought they would do something so bad like this. Him leaving Jo and all his life / friends [MEREDITH] only with a letter ? That has nothing to do with the Alex Karev he had become. It destroys his whole character development. I wanted Izzie back not Alex leave.

3. All scenes Jay disrespects Mitchell and Mitchells sexuality. Yeah you can mention this but sometimes it’s presented as funny and there are many stupid cliches. It’s sad even if it’s only a sitcom.

4. Carlas Dad causing Christians injuries so that he can’t talk about Polos fault. That was too sick.

5. Zoe's relationship with Joel. Not surprising. I kind of liked Joel but what the fuck? There was a love triangle with George why another one?

6. The way Katniss acted in Mockingjay. First of all she was a kid, why the fuck did she think she could make her own thing and kill snow without any plan? And it's written as if she is a war hero and not an abused kid. On the other side I hated how she treated Peeta and she is so self-pity, it's cruel.

an excellent question that i have spent the last like 12 days thinking about because at first i was like do i even have 10 fav characters (i've spent like. the last 13 years being obsessed with kpop and haven't been very obsessed with other forms of media) and then i realized i have too many fav characters. so in no particular order (and under a cut):

usagi tsukino from sailor moon - she taught me the power of friendship! and love! and kindness! and also that it's okay to not be the smartest!!!! i don't feel like we get that messaging very often. ALSO little baby nav definitely wanted to be her and ofc, she's my fav kind of character: dumb and kind with a heart of gold

xena from xena: warrior princess - i was definitely in love with xena in the gay way but didn't realise until my 20s. so formative influence + as a kid i really loved seeing a female character be the main character and kick ass PLUS xena was gay too. literally meant for me

harry potter from the harry potter series - while i think we should punt jkr into the sun, i can't deny that the hp series did mean a lot to me as a child and i read all the books as they came out pretty much. another formative influence. i love harry because i think we're very similar lol keen on doing the right thing, loyal, kind, honest, brave, (have a bit of a temper lol). at least, these are attributes i aspire toward

james (jim) tiberius kirk from star trek (altho more so from the alternate universe timeline created by the 2009 and onwards movies) - that's right, another fav character who will risk his own life to save others (that's 4 for 4 so far). jim is literally the sun - bright, bold, confident (sometimes arrogantly so but he learns). he's also kind and an incredibly caring captain. and ofc an idiot.

feng xin from heaven official's blessing - he's an idiot but he'll do anything for his loved ones fvnd he's my husband...i feel insane when i think about him. he's got a nasty temper and he's loud and obnoxious but he always tries his best and he's SO FUCKING LOYAL!!!!!! TO A FAULT!!!!!!! ugh i love him so much

howl and sophie from howl's moving castle (book and movie) - okay i'm cheating a little here but i can't pick between them because i do not think you can separate them. a lot of the reason why i love them both so much is what they both teach each other. i don't think they would have had the growth they do had they not met one another. also i love that howl is a melodramatic, vain idiot and that sophie is her own worst enemy because she's really lost her sense of self and her confidence.

hannibal lecter from hannibal (books, movies, and show) - he is the odd one out here but i've been obsessed with him since i was in high school. i love what a pretentious asshole he is especially since he's eating people but acting like he's, you know, so much better than everyone. also i think it's fun to love a guy who is a serial killer...gotta sprinkle in a little bit of unhinged i think.

gloria delgado-pritchett from modern family - she is so fucking funny and easily the best character on this whole show. i think i stuck to watching the whole thing in part because of her. i really love her actor, too, but gloria is just...the most female character. doesn't take shit, a great mom, uses your prejudices against you and gets the better of you. i love her.

edward elric from fullmetal alchemist - an ultimate good boy trying to fix the mistakes he's made. i think fma's story is so incredibly good in part because edward is such a grounded character. his relationship with his brother is also very near and dear to my heart and means EVERYTHING to me!!!! i also love how he's a short king and 100% ready to fight god

xie lian from heaven official's blessing - i am so sorry hua cheng but xie lian wins out because he's the best boy sobs. i can't remember the last time a character just...resonated with me so much in terms of resilience. tbh idk if i could even survive what xie lian survives and still come out a good person. i think he really embodies the idea that being kind is a choice and it's a choice he makes over and over and over again.

the most common theme here is....they gotta have a heart of gold. and probably be a little self-righteous. i was gonna do an honourable mentions list but the list is so fucking long....so i will spare you.
