After being unbodied by a spell, Dean can't eat, sleep, drive, or feel much of anything at all unless he's given a ride in someone else's body. Until they can get the spell to put Dean back into his own body, he's in danger of fading out of reality entirely.
The scary part is, he's starting to like the idea.

i know i'm biased af cuz i'm han-seo trash but hear me out. I think Han-seok's plan in ep 20 should've been more about Han-seo. Han-seo's betrayal hit him Way Worse than Vincenzo getting the woman he had a crush on (it didn't even seem that deep), especially considering Han-seo basically replaced Han-seok with his worst enemy. idk i just think they should've gone harder on the whole "you stole my brother" thing. Cha-young could still have taken a bullet for Vin, but not so bad that she couldn't see this plan through at Vin's side (yes I still think Vin should've let her have Choi Myung-hee, that was her archenemy, this revenge should've been hers)

Hey! Since you enjoyed my silly little coma head cannon i thought i would share few more!
Once you lose your 6th life you fully despawn. the difference is that despawning means you fade away pixel by pixel starting from where every your wound is, under the span of a minute until you were nothing but the consequences you left behind.
Some personalized coma headcannons. (I have not whatched every POV).
I believe Jimmy died in Martin's base. This likely meant that after the fall martin carried up his body from where it fell back to Jimmy's doll house, and probably did daily check ins to see if he was awake or not. and maybe even feels like its his fault. not overwhelmingly. but he knows hes partly to blame but after jimmy wakes up, some apologies and pranks are shared. the two bounce back into being friends like nothing happened.
Sparrows machine left him in a coma. Scott found out about this the hard way and brought the man to his own home because it was raining and storming and Sparrows tents weren't going to hold well against the weather. From there Scott anxiously awaits for Sparrows awakening. But also fears it a little because when Sparrow inevitably does awake he'll have some new hybrid features that will surely startle and confuse the once human. But Scott's prepared every kind of meal set and has made a promise to himself to help sparrow through whatever troubles come.
(Hey? can i tell you a secret about that head cannon right above this?....I wrote a fic about it. im not sure if im allowed to self promote or anything here. This ask is already super long but, if you like the idea look up 'Sacrificing Storms' on Ao3.)

Ooh, this is really interesting! And kinda creepy lol. Imagine how horrifying it would be to watch someone lose their 6th life. All of a sudden they aren't laughing and joking, but they aren't just passed out while their anatomy changes like before. No, no matter how much they joked about these comas being "death", there is no comparison to watching someone well and truly die. They're just frozen in horror as their friend's body vanishes before their eyes. Within seconds, all that is left is whatever they had on them at the time and a whisper on the wind.
The server feels a lot more empty in the coming days.

Been watching some dbs related videos and I'm sosoo glad I gave up on that anime because oh my god the story gets worse with every arc. Wtf are they even doing anymore
#watched a vid summarizing the granolah arc and literally genuinely what was that#my favorite part was when frieza showed up outta nowhere with a new form he'd cultivated#in a alternate dimension that distorts time in a similar way that the room of space and time does#proceeded to one hit kill the big bad of the week. knock out goku and vegeta for shits and giggles and then dip#hilarious#but it was meant to be totally serious and to show that frieza's totallyyyy a threat again guys for real lets goo round 3#and that was literally the most interesting part of the arc#Im so mad about the fucking bardock retcon#but not about the hypothetical wish he made. I remember reading somewhere that the English translation of the manga was incorrect#and ik a lot of people argue that the wish he made just retconned the whole message of dragon ball#but thats based on the English version of the manga#also speaking of bardock and retcons related to him Im still livid over the fact that they changed goku's origin story#to be an almost exact ripoff of superman's#and they retconned the start of the saiyan arc with that too#radirz said goku was sent to earth to destroy it as a baby. but now goku was sent to earth on purpose to save his life?#bullshit. hi hello salut. do you find that having a tumblr account to promote fanfictions is helpful or do readers find your fics regardless? i am publishing first time ever. thank you greatly, big fan
Yeah, I'd say so.
For one you have another platform to let readers know "hey! there's a new fic of the thing you like!" Not every reader sorts fics on 'most recent' and only go off 'most kudos'ed/viewed/bookmarked'. A new fic will have an incredibly hard time to land a high spot with those filters. Hell, some only go off other people's recs... So any additional place you can let readers know of your fics existence helps.
It also makes it much easier for readers to reblog your fic. If I read a fic and like it, I probably wouldn't make my own post like 'oh this fic i read was really nice'. I would, however, reblog someone's tumblr post. This helps your fic (potentially) read a wider audience.
Just make sure to properly tag your fics so that—even when you don't have many followers—people can still find your fic!
#sam's asks#also idk if you're a 'new' writer#but one thing i see new fic writers do is downplay their own fic#in the tags or summary or even in their notes#like 'ahah this is so dumb and prob ooc >w<'#which i would HEAVILY advice against#listen. if you - the writer - don't show any confidence in your own fic why tf would i - the reader - give it a shot?#that may seem harsh but your tags and summary are how you INVITE new readers in!! don't slam the door in their face on first visit#if you feel insecure either don't mention it and let the work speak for itself (and let the reader make up their own mind!)#or turn it into a positive. like 'hey. im a new writer and would love to hear some feedback if you have it!' at the end of a chapter or w/e#that's already MILES better than opening with a super insecure 'this is so bad lol why did i write this'#like congrats. you just reviewbombed your own creative work...

I've kinda seen some pushback to the idea of representation in media and I don't necessarily think it's bad to point out actual rights are more important than Disney's thousandth first gay character that's fine, but I've had a LOT of people comment on my works about asexual characters and tell me what I wrote changed their life-and it's always that phrase- because they now have the language to describe what they feel. I've had people who ARENT ace or aro comment that what I wrote finally made a concept they didn't understand make sense, or that the way I explained things was interesting and enlightening and I'm kind of a mediocre writer who hasn't written anything in ages.
Like idk, if reading something from a writer who is fucking around and only somewhat talented can genuinely impact someone because they've not seen anything like them reflected back at them in life or media I don't think pushing for representation in media is as "needless" as some people seem to think and caring about that doesn't mean you don't care about more "important" (although if you think seeing people like you in media ISNT important it's because you already have that representation or are privileged enough to not care if you do, in which case maybe pipe down) stuff. Hell, I even got a Facebook message ages ago from someone who found a comment I left in an ace group about QPR's and what they meant to me and how I perceived them and the person no joke said what I wrote two years before they even found it changed their life forever because they finally knew what kind of relationship they actually wanted.
So like sure, of course there's always bigger fish to fry them diversity in media (you know, like diversity in real life lol) but I don't think it's as frivolous as some people are beginning to act like it is. At least not if you're an aspec person it's not, I STILL don't see ace characters almost ever and I'll bet my whole everything if I asked a writer of a show why they'd tell me that EVERYONE has to be in a sexual relationship and characters that aren't won't sell and are boring- I say this because in film school I had a teacher TELL ME every character needed to basically be sex obsessed and when I pointed out a GREAT MANY CHARACTERS are not revolved around sex (Supernatural stars two brothers, I pointed out) and when she asked if I had love interests I was like ??? That doesn't matter- using my aforementioned supernatural example almost all their love interests die or get mind wiped because at the end of the day that's not what the story was about. So actually I think writers who act like that teacher need like 50 reality checks, and representation in stories isn't unimportant and also support indie writers you'll probably find more funky shit there then Disney anyway lmao.
And also even the asexual characters I DO see in media don't remind me at all of myself even if I appreciate the effort, but they never feel real or genuine and their sexuality doesn't get a lot of exploration so 🤷🏻♀️ I actually could use more media focused on characters that I can genuinely see my sexuality reflected in in a meaningful and narratively impactful way because I've got nothing.

it's always so scary when you dump your heart and soul into a chapter and think "hehehehe my audience is going to think I'm so clever and they'll love this!" and you genuinely had a great time writing it so you finally put the chapter out into the world and it's like *refresh* *refresh* *refresh* (repeat x3 days) and that inbox number for comments just stays 0.

been reading some #vintage pjo fic on ffnet and i'm sad to report that, though it’s not a ship i've ever gone for, the leo/hazel writers absolutely ate up the frazel writers on there. and everyone else too. hands down they were writing the best hazels.
#like deadass. i was getting invested in a few. i don't even like leo/hazel as a pairing.#are these fics necessarily good? no. but they are by and large better than frazel fics#which i thiiink stems from a lot of the writers had crushes on leo and were projecting onto hazel whereas many frazel writers#didn't really identify with either character and it shows#honestly leo/hazel fics might just be better because they bother to include real story conflict and most hazel writers#are too wedded to the little sister/group innocent view of hazel to write her as breaking up with her boyfriend for another guy. or cursing#or thinking an impure thought. or being mean or lying. or wanting something new. all of which leo/hazel writers were doing#like my absolute fave fics with hazel aren't leo/hazel but they ate. unfortunately.#like one fic had a hazel/leo/calypso love triangle with calypso's og characterization...i got invested i took sides it's still on my mind..
