Ronance + Mike headcanons?
Robin fully geeks out and absolutely adores the pictures Mike shows her of Nancy dressing up for his dnd campaign as an elf. Mike just enjoys watching his sister get embarrassed as he run around with the picture trying to keep it out of her grasp, but it’s far too late, Robin has every bit of the picture memorized.
Nancy and Mike always go to hangout with Robin and Steve whenever their parents are being homophobic dicks, it’s nice to be around people who love them for who they are, something that they struggle with a lot, the internalized homophobia.
Robin finds it hilarious whenever she compares Mike and Nancy and they get all angry snd pouty about it, claiming they’re nothing alike as they both say the exact same response and cross their arms in the same way.
Micheal Wheeler has finally learned to knock after walking in on a make out session, nothing explicit but enough to make his eyes burn and stomach curl. Nancy got her pay back by sneaking a picture of Will and Mike cuddled up and asleep to a movie they were watching.
Mike has very much taken advantage of his sisters new found desire to stop by Family video and pick out a movie whenever, they get them all free anyways…
Nancy and Robin will tease Mike in French, cause he took Spanish at school and for the most part can’t tell what they’re saying.

Everyone is stoned. Just. So stoned. Eddie brought over the good stuff. The TV's been stuck on static for like, forty minutes, but no one can be bothered to move.
"You shut up Steven, you've practically dated everyone in the room."
"Robs. Robs. We never. Not even prac-ti-cly."
"Yeap, yeap, you asked me-"
Steve huffs, "we were drugged and in a bathroom, and doesn't count. Said no."
"But I nearly said yes. So you've nearly dated everyone," Robin tells him confidently.
Steve's vaguely aware of either Nancy or Eddie making a noise at that revelation, but he's not looking at where they're lying on the floor, so he doesn't know which of them it was.
And for a split second, Steve's back there. Drugged, confused, sitting in a bathroom and absolutely certain that he's in love with Robin, "you never told me that."
She shrugs, she shrugs like it's nothing, like she hasn't just turned Steve upside down a little bit, "I only figured it for a second, but I thought, if there was someone I could...fake it with. It would be you."
And there's just so many things she's not saying there. That don't need to be said. About the world and why she would consider that. Too many things for Steve to process. And Steve's crying, he doesn't even know why really, just big feelings that he can't define. A life they nearly had that would have been a lie, but still a forever with Robin. He's got a lapful of Rob now, and he holds her so tight, so so tight. And he knows Eddie is there, rubbing his back, and Nancy is doing the same for Robin.
And he kind of thinks that things do just work out.

I will never not be OBSESSED with the Famous trope + Found Family trope with the Party 😭 The headlines would be so chaotic? Like:
Famous Rockstar Eddie Munson is seen eating lunch with two time Pulitzer winner Nancy Wheeler, Highest Paid Photographer Jonathan Byers and Successful Entrepreneur Argyle Alvez. How does he know these people???
Three time Grammy Winner Eddie Munson seen in a McDonald's with World Renowned Astronaut Dustin Henderson and New York Times Best Seller Will Byers-Wheeler and Mike Byers-Wheeler. What the actual fuck???
Eddie Munson, seen in a Chicago Bulls game looking confused as hell, mere seconds after finding out his second album just went Multi-platinum, with his husband, Steve Munson. Also seen in pictures, Eddie Munson hugging point guard Lucas Sinclair and his wife, Max Sinclair. How???
MSG Sold Out Performer Eddie Munson seen in Chicago Medical Center with World Renowned Surgeon Dr. Erica Sinclair. Our insiders say that the rockstar is FINE and was only having lunch with the doctor. What in the multiverse is happening???
Eddie Munson and his husband seen in line at the book signing of rising Linguistics Author Robin Buckley. They ended up laughing so hard when they reached the author, they almost got kicked out. Turns out they all knew each other???
Rock Star Eddie Munson bringing packed lunch in pajamas to a small Chicago preschool where husband, Steve Munson and known friend, Jane Hopper works. Why??? How??? What???
Third most followed person on Instagram Eddie Munson, just broke the internet by posting a group picture with Nancy Wheeler, Robin Buckley, Jonathan Byers, Argyle Alvez, Dustin Henderson, Lucas, Max and Erica Sinclair, Mike and Will Byers-Wheeler, his husband Steve Munson and family friend Jane Hopper. HOW DO THEY ALL KNOW EACH OTHER?! WHAT A WEIRD GROUP?!
The more people speculate, the more they say shit. Like people ask them how they know each other and they all just throw out the weirdest answers.
Nancy gets asked in a press conference how she knows Rock Star Eddie Munson? Nancy answers with, "I was driving myself to California when I was 19 and I picked him up as a hitch hiker along the way. We’ve been friends since then."
Robin gets asked in a lecture how she knows the Sinclair Clan? Robin answers with, "I go way back with Dr. Erica. She once saved me from Russian Doctors trying to cut my toe nails."
Eddie goes on an interview in National TV and the host asks how he's friends with Argyle and Jon? Eddie answers with, "I got kidnapped by a killer clown when I was 17. They saved me by crushing the clown's still beating heart with their own bare hands."
Steve gets bombarded with questions online of how he knows Nancy, Robin, Jon, Argyle and even Eddie (his husband)? Steve answers with, "We were stuck in detention every Saturday when we were in senior year. We all became friends when Eddie Munson started singing Don't You (Forget About Me)."
Will and Mike gets asked in an interview about their friendship with Basketball Star, Lucas Sinclair? Will says, “Lucas once gave my dog CPR, ultimately, saving it’s life and we’ve been friends since then.” and Mike just goes, “Who???”
Erica once got asked how she knew Genius Astronaut, Dustin Henderson. Erica rolls her eyes, “That boy owes me his life. Ask him, not me.”
Dustin gets asked how he knows Eddie Munson. Dustin goes with, “Eddie once saved me from a feral army of bats and almost died. I’ve never let go of him since then.” The fans think this one might actually be true, they’ve seen the scars on Eddie, they’ve got theories and Dustin just gave them a puzzle piece.
Argyle got asked in a Business Magazine how he knows this weird, interconnected group. Argyle says, “Oh dude! Those are my life long friends! It started with a pizza van, a dead man, and a road trip to Utah. There was also a bald girl involved. In the end, the real treasure really is the friends we make along the way.”
Jonathan gets asked how he knows Eddie Munson. Jon gives the softest, sweetest smile and says, “We were in a satanic cult together.”
Jane Hopper gets asked once in public (how she knows all these famous people), someone filmed it and it went viral on Twitter. El says, verbatim, “Oh. It all started when I was kidnapped by an evil scientist who tested stuff on me like I was a lab rat. Long story short, they saved my life and they are my family.” By then people already don’t believe any of them because they all give out the most ridiculous answers. Hopper still grounds her for that even though she doesn’t live with him anymore. (Owens, who hasn't called them in 15 years, reached out with a warning).

What if Mike is so mad at Steve because he was his bisexual awakening? He saw him dating Nancy, walking around in those too-tight shorts and thought, ‘oh damn, that’s one thing I didn’t need in common with my sister’. Anytime he sees him around the house, he just thinks he’s the biggest asshole because prior to him being around, Mike only liked girls!
Then they broke up so Mike didn’t have to see him around too much and he could focus on El instead of pining after Steve. But nope, Dustin becomes best friends with the guy and he’s suddenly around all the time.
Finally, Mike gets a crush on his new DM and thinks he can get over his hopeless crush on Steve. He goes on a really shitty vacation and when he comes back, Eddie and Steve are both in the hospital and they’re mooning over one another, cuddling in the same hospital bed.
And poor Mike is just thinking he can’t escape this guy. First he dates his sister, adopts him and his friends, and now he’s dating the guy Mike idolizes? What the fuck?
(His hate doesn’t lessen when he finds out that Steve told Will not to date a Wheeler either.)

i need more codependent steve and robin.
steve and robin sitting on each other’s laps during movie night, sharing a thing of popcorn between the two of them
constantly holding each other’s hands while joking around with each other. robin will be endlessly making fun of steve all the while she is holding his hand in her own and refuses to separate.
steve complaining that he can’t get a date and doesn’t understand why, meanwhile robin is sitting on the counter at family video behind him, playing with his hair.
whenever they are saying goodbye they kiss each other on the cheek and say “i love you.”
they have a “date night” every week where they go to a diner and get food and share a milkshake.
eddie and nancy think they have absolutely no chance with steve and robin, respectively, because the two of them are clearly dating. when robin comes out to them their entire world feels like it flips on its head.
steve and robin being each other’s unintentional beard. they didn’t mean for it at first but everyone just assumed they were dating already so they stopped correcting people, letting them think what they want. (it makes robin’s relationship with nancy and steve’s with eddie comically easy to hide. no one looks twice when they are with them bc steve and robin are clearly together)

Everyone jokes about Steve being the babysitter or the mom friend, but no one actually appreciates everything he does until he gets sick. Steve is the epitome of a doting parent; sure, he's only twenty and the seven kids he's adopted aren't actually his in any legal way, but those kids are his pride and fucking joy. Anyone who sees Steve with those kids can tell that he loves them deeply, which is why Steve is the only person in the Party that can convince their parents to allow anything- their parents KNOW that their kids will not only be well looked after, but they'll be genuinely enjoying themselves too.
Because he's a single mom except he's actually just barely out of his teenage years with no kids, he gets a lot of shit from everyone about it; he's known almost exclusively to the Party as Mama Steve (when he isn't in earshot of course). That's all fine by Steve, he always wanted a big family and now he has it. The problems start to appear when the Party realizes that Steve Harrington flat out ignores his own needs until they're so pressing that he's physically unable to do anything.
It all starts when Robin is told by Keith, of all people, that Steve has called in sick. Robin, of course, panics and calls him, and when he doesn't answer she calls Eddie to check on him. He and Steve had gotten closer since spring break, so it wasn't unusual for a member of the party to call either Eddie or Steve to check in on the other.
Eddie checks in to find Steve Harrington, badass warrior prince incarnate, sobbing from a blanket mountain on the couch in his living room. No one has ever actually seen Steve cry before, so Eddie freaks out, but it's just the result of a high fever and watching Old Yeller by himself. After calming the sick man, Eddie managed to coax some medicine into him and call Family Video to let Robin know that, yes, Steve is alive and no, he wasn't going to die of fever, but he only manages to get Steve to sleep by reading to him (Eddie finds it disgustingly adorable, even more so later when Nancy mentions that Steve loves stories but struggles with what he calls "moving letters"). And for the next two weeks, Steve is down for the count. Joyce and Claudia Henderson take turns making sure Steve is alright (Joyce because Steve is one of Her Kids, and Claudia because Steve is the Older Son she never had) while Eddie, Nancy, Jonathan, and Robin all try to take his place.
By the end of the first day, Nancy calls it quits: Mike is a bullheaded terror who only ever seems to like Will, El, or Eddie, and even then he doesn't always listen to them, so the Wheeler siblings fight even more ferociously than usual. She can't get El or Erica to listen, either; Erica is a force to be reckoned with, and El will only nod passively before doing what she wants anyway. By the end of day three, Jonathan is out. He won't say what happened, but he told Max to be nicer to the Party one time and, ten minutes later, he was tearfully saying that the kids were little monsters.
Robin lasts longer, almost an entire week, by chattering at the kids until they give up and listen to her. She meets her match when Dustin and Erica try to commandeer the Family Video computer again: Dusting sneaks past and almost breaks the computer just trying to get to it while Erica does Erica and argues until Robin the Rambler runs out of words. The morning of day seven is very dark for her.
Eddie, through what he believes to be the universe's acknowledgement of the depth of his affection for Steve and also sheer force of will, lasts the whole two weeks, but just barely. Mike argues over everything, no matter what; Will is skittish at the best of times and disappears constantly (thankfully, not like his Upside Down episodes - the boy just can't stop getting distracted and wandering away from the group), only to reappear directly behind Eddie and scaring him into an early grave; Lucas gets frustrated easily and can never seem to find the right words to communicate his thoughts and feelings, so he snarks and lashes out before awkwardly trying to mend the situation; Erica is so completely herself that it can be dizzying when the full force of that hurricane is directed towards Eddie; Dustin practically follows Eddie around like a little duckling, demanding updates on Steve or ranting about one of his many interests; El spends most of her time with the Party learning about how girls her age act through Max or practicing her braiding on Eddie. The worst of them all, though, is Max. Despite having healed up, she's still in physical therapy to rebuild her muscle strength and dexterity, and her eyesight is bad enough now that there's talk of her getting a service animal. It isn't that she needs a little extra attention that makes her the worst, though: it's that somehow, she still chases the most mischief. Eddie has only narrowly managed to keep her from assaulting no less that nine people in the two weeks that Steve is sick, and he knows she's definitely tried to commit arson at least twice that often.
Finally, after two weeks, Steve feels better enough to return to his usual activity, and Eddie begs him to never get sick again.

Nancy Wheeler has always been observant. It's something she prides herself on, if she's honest. It's what she knows will make her an excellent investigative reporter one day. It helps her make connections that other people might miss and remember the smallest of details that could make or break a story.
Perhaps most importantly, it's what makes her good at reading people – their micro-expressions, their body language, what makes them tick. She's good at it with anyone, but especially when it comes to the people she knows best.
So it's only logical that she's the first to notice when Steve starts to fall for Eddie Munson.
The signs are subtle, at first, but they're there, and Nancy can see them from a mile away. She's got the added bonus of having been the object of Steve's affections, once upon a time, so she knows what to look for. She knows that with Steve, it always starts with the lingering glances. He's never been able to keep his eyes off the people he wants, and it's this that first clues her in on the whole thing.
She's at Penny's Diner with Steve, Robin, and Eddie, and their waitress is laying it on thick, flirting relentlessly with Steve, batting her eyelashes dramatically and swaying her hips more than is objectively necessary whenever she walks away. And sure, Steve hasn't gone for any of the girls that act this way around him in a long time, but he always, always looks. Hell, even Nancy looks, sometimes, when a girl is objectively pretty. She's big enough to admit (to herself, at least) that boys aren't the only dating pool she's interested in, now that she and Jonathan are done.
But that day at Penny's, Steve doesn't give the poor waitress so much as a second glance, because that day, Steve can't seem to stop looking at Eddie.
At first, Nancy is sure she's imagining it – the way Steve's eyes linger on the dungeon master like he can't bring himself to look away – but it gets harder and harder to deny the longer they sit there sipping their milkshakes. Eddie is debating something silly with Robin, and Steve is just... watching him.
Steve's got this fond little smile on his face, and it's a look Nancy recognizes immediately. It used to be directed at her. And honestly? She's a bit relieved it's not, anymore, because she loves Steve, but not like that. Not the way she was worried Steve still loved her... the way she wonders if Steve might be falling for Eddie.
She sort of keeps an eye out for things, after that day – the little things that give Steve away when he's crushing hard on somebody. The lingering glances. The soft smiles. The brief touches. The flimsy excuses for stepping into Eddie's space, like the day Steve sees Eddie struggling with the lighter, and instead of just lending Eddie his own, he steps forward until their shoes are practically touching and holds up the flame for him.
She sees it all and wonders how in the world nobody else has caught on yet. Even Robin, Steve's best friend in the entire world, seems puzzled by the sudden lack of dates on Steve's calendar. Sometimes Nancy wants to grab her by the shoulders and tell her to just think a little harder.
(Nancy wants to grab Robin by the shoulders for other reasons, too – reasons that involve pulling Robin closer and kissing the living daylights out of her – but that's neither here nor there.)
But no matter how long Steve's pining lasts, no matter how obvious he's getting, nobody else seems to notice. It's mildly infuriating, but Nancy isn't about to talk to anyone else about it. It's dangerous being queer in this part of Indiana, and even though she knows that their little monster-fighting family won't care, it's still not her secret to tell.
It all comes to a head at a bonfire one night, midway through the summer, when the kids are once again grilling Steve on his sudden lack of a dating life. And it's Max who first cottons on to the most plausible explanation.
"Oh my God, wait, you like someone!" Max gasps midway through Dustin's interrogation.
There's a brief silence, and then the kids are all shouting.
"Oh, shit, Max, you're right. He totally does!" Dustin cries.
Steve tries to protest, but it's useless, because ever since Steve shed his royal persona two years ago, he's been a truly terrible liar. He looks like a deer in headlights, eyes wide and vaguely panicky, but Dustin Henderson has never been very good at letting things go.
"You have to tell us who it is!" Dustin presses. "We're your friends, Steve. Friends tell each other things. Unless..." Dustin gasps dramatically. "Unless she's someone we know..."
That shuts everyone up all at once, even Robin and Eddie, who have been having their own little conversation off to the side. Everyone stares at Steve, and then half of their eyes go to Nancy herself, and the other half land on Robin. It might make Nancy laugh, if Steve didn't look so close to throwing up.
"Right, well this is stupid," Steve says, smacking his hands on his knees and pushing up out of the chair. "I'm going to get another drink, and when I get back, we're dropping this."
He turns and hurries into the house, and Nancy glances around their little circle. Robin looks confused, but mostly worried. Eddie looks vaguely sick. And most of the kids just look shocked. They all start to murmur amongst themselves after the door slides shut behind Steve's retreating form. Nancy sees the way his whole body seems to sag, watching through the glass, and decides she's had enough.
She gets up, ignoring the way the murmuring gets louder as she walks, and follows him.
She finds Steve bent over the kitchen counter, palms pressed into the granite and head bent towards his chest. He looks like he's on the verge of panicking, and her heart aches for him. He's been through so much – some of which Nancy knows is her fault – and God, she just wants him to be happy for once.
"Steve?" she says softly.
Steve flinches at the sound of her voice, like he was so lost in thought he didn't even realize she'd followed him.
"There's something I wanted to-"
"Before you say anything, it's not you," he interupts flatly before she can finish. He pushes off the counter to look at her with sad, earnest eyes. "I know things were, like, weird when we were in the Upside Down, and we never really talked about it, but... I don't feel that way about you anymore. So you don't have to worry."
Nancy just blinks at him.
"That... that's what you wanted to talk about, right?" he asks.
"No, actually," Nancy says carefully. "I sort of knew you didn't feel like that about me, and I don't feel that way about you, so that's a non-issue, but..."
Steve looks relieved for a second, then tenses up again. "But...?" he says, raising an eyebrow.
"I, um... I think I might have an idea who it is – if Max is right, that is, and you really do like someone," she says.
Steve sighs. "It's not Robin, if that's what you're thinking."
"No," Nancy says softly, shaking her head. "No, it's not."
Steve frowns and averts his eyes, arms crossing protectively over his chest. He doesn't say anything.
Nancy considers her options. She wonders how she should play this, how to go about bringing this up. In the end, she just goes with her gut.
"Did you know I like girls?" she asks. It's the first time she's said it aloud to anyone, but it feels good. It feels like the right time. Besides, she wants to do this for Steve – to make him feel more comfortable. It's the least she can do.
Steve's eyes snap up to look at her again.
"I still like boys, too, but yeah... I like both, so..." She takes a deep breath. "If there was anything you wanted to tell someone about how you feel about... someone else... I'm not going to judge you."
Steve bites his lip. He looks painfully conflicted, and a little bit like he might cry. "I, uh..." he stammers. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath… clears his throat. "Okay first of all, thank you for trusting me with that, and you know I support you. I just want you to be happy, Nance."
Nancy nods, because she knows. She's always known. "That's what I want for you, too," she says. She takes a step forward and takes one of his hands in hers, because Steve's eyes are getting watery, and she hates seeing people cry. "You don't have to tell me, but if you want-"
"I think I like Eddie," Steve says suddenly, voice whisper-soft. He looks terrified when he meets Nancy's eyes again. "I, um... yeah. I like Eddie."
Nancy offers him what she hopes is an encouraging smile and nods. "Yeah, I kinda figured."
"Shit, am I that obvious?" Steve says weakly, and Nancy can't help but laugh softly.
"God, no," she says. "Well, to me, you are, but to everyone else? God, they're clueless. I promise you that nobody else has any clue, and it's been driving me crazy."
To her relief, Steve huffs out a soft laugh, as well. "Yeah, well, you've always been sort of freakishly observant, haven't you?"
It's true. She's always been like this, and that's precisely why she feels confident enough to make her next statement.
"You should tell him, Steve," she says.
Because Steve isn't the only person she's been watching for the past few months.
She's been watching Eddie, too, so she's seen Eddie's dopey, smitten smile whenever Steve makes a terrible joke. She's watched Eddie pull his hair in front of his mouth bashfully after Steve teases him. She's seen the blush on Eddie's cheeks whenever Steve steps into his personal space.
Steve Harrington isn't the only one who's been busy falling in love.
As usual, nobody else has noticed.
"No, absolutely not," Steve says, pulling his hand away and running both hands through his hair instead. "Are you crazy, Nance? He'll hate me!"
Nancy is pretty sure she deserves an Oscar for keeping her expression neutral, because the urge to roll her eyes is physically painful to resist.
"Steve," she says calmly. "I love you, and I love Eddie, but the two of you are idiots if you can't see how hard you've been pining over each other, and I am not above physically knocking your heads together to get you to realize that."
Steve's eyebrows disappear behind his hairline, and Nancy almost laughs. "Jesus, when did you get so threatening, Wheeler?" he grumbles, but there's a hint of a smile on his face. It's quickly swept away by fear, though, and Nancy's heart breaks a little when Steve looks at her with those puppy-dog eyes of his and asks, "What if you're wrong?"
She's only just opened her mouth to reply when the sliding door opens again, and someone else joins them in the kitchen.
Eddie's eyes dart back and forth between Nancy and Steve assessingly, and Nancy has to bite back a laugh because oh. Eddie was jealous.
"Sorry to interrupt," Eddie says, one eyebrow raised. "Just wanted to make sure everything was okay." He focuses his gaze on Steve, eyes softening. It's disgustingly adorable, how earnestly concerned he looks. "You doin' alright, Stevie? Kinda left in a hurry back there."
Steve glances at Nancy, face becoming redder by the second. Nancy smiles.
"Well I'm going to let you talk," she says casually. Steve's eyes nearly bug out of his head, but she puts both hands on his shoulders and looks him straight in the eyes before he can protest. "But to answer your question from before... I'm not wrong," she murmurs softly, so only Steve can hear.
She pats him gently on the cheek and turns on her heel before Steve can respond, catching Eddie's eye on the way out. He looks perplexed, and she just smiles.
The kids hardly notice when she rejoins the circle around the fire. They've already moved on to topics that don't involve their babysitter's love life, but Robin still looks worried. It's cute. God, Robin is so cute, Nancy can hardly stand it.
"Is he okay?" Robin asks quietly. "He looked pretty upset when he left, and then you guys were gone for a while, and Eddie thought maybe you were getting back together, but I told him that was ridiculous, and now neither of them are back yet, and-"
"They're fine, I promise," Nancy says with a grin, interrupting Robin’s rambling. "They just... needed a little nudge."
Nancy gets to see the moment it clicks for Robin, and it's only a little bit hilarious. "Wait..." Robin says, mouth dropping open. "Steve...?"
Nancy nods, smile widening.
"And Eddie?"
"Yep," Nancy says. Robin looks on the verge of a massive freakout (a positive one, obviously, but a freakout nonetheless), and Nancy doesn't want her to unwittingly out both of the boys to the kids, so she changes the topic. She figures if she's making Steve deal with his feelings, she might as well do the same. You know, solidarity, and all that.
"By the way," Nancy says coolly, quietly, "did you know I'm bisexual?"
She has to cover Robin's mouth with her hand to stop her shriek of surprise, but it's worth it, because Robin instantly turns into a blushing, stuttering mess, and it's so stupidly endearing. Nancy wants to kiss her until neither of them can remember their own names.
It's even more endearing when Nancy tells her, "Yeah, so I'd really like to talk later, after the kids go to bed, if that's okay?" And Robin looks like she might faint when she blushes and whimpers out a yes.
Nancy just grins and threads their fingers together, hands tucked out of sight from the kids.
They're still sitting like that when Steve and Eddie finally come out of the house after a very long time, both boys looking flushed and a bit disheveled, but happy.
"Thought you were getting another drink?" Erica snarks at Steve when they sit down, and Nancy snorts, because Steve definitely returned empty-handed.
Steve's eyes widen and he looks at Eddie sheepishly. "I, uh... got a little distracted."
Only Max seems to recognize the implications, because her jaw drops, but Robin nudges her with her foot before she can say anything, and Max instantly shuts her mouth. She's still got a knowing look on her face, but Nancy knows she won't go outing anyone to the others. She's a good kid.
"God, you have the attention span of a puppy, Steve, I swear," Dustin grumbles, and the conversation quickly moves on.
Nancy is mostly quiet for the rest of the night, silently observing all of her friends and reveling in the feeling of Robin's hand in hers. She watches as Max tentatively rests her head on Lucas's shoulder. Watches Lucas's eyes widen and sees the internal freakout happening in his mind. She sees the way Eddie and Steve sit closer than before, practically on top of each other, faces flushed with happiness while they all make s'mores. She watches her brother look hopelessly confused sitting between Will and El, because he hasn't yet realized that while he is in love with one of them, it's not the one he thinks it is.
And at the end of the night, after the kids are all settled in the massive living room and she and Robin head for the guest room, Nancy catches Steve's eye. He and Eddie are holding hands now that they're out of sight of the kids, and Eddie can't stop staring at Steve like he's some sort of miracle. But just this once, Steve tears his eyes away from Eddie to meet Nancy's.
He smiles, mouths thank you, and gives an approving nod when his eyes land on her hand, which is still wrapped around Robin's.
Nancy just smiles and nods, and watches as Eddie impatiently tugs Steve into the bedroom and shuts the door. As Robin does the same to her, pulling her eagerly into the guest room, she has a wild thought.
If the investigative journalism thing doesn't work out, there's always the option of matchmaker.
She's apparently pretty damn good at it, after all.
And she's always been observant.

☄. *. ⋆ ┄ How The Gang™ Eats Pussy !
summary: the title is pretty self-explanatory, don't ya think? pairing: the gang™ / f!reader warnings: oral sex (r!receiving) 18+ mdni! a/n: uhh.. happy new year! what better way to start of 2023 than some good ol' fashioned smut? it's been a long time since i've posted any of my writing here so pls be gentle i'm literally so sensitive (but if you have any thoughts or requests feel free to send them here!)
steve !
he’s so so desperate to please
it stems from his reputation as king steve™ i think
like he wants to prove himself so bad even though you’re already head over heels for him
he’s constantly checking in on you
asking you if like it and if he’s doing alright
so when you say yes (because you will say yes) he redoubles his effort
he’s a total sucker for praise
it’s also totally on brand that he’s exponentially good at it
it almost makes you jealous because you’re like how many times have you done this????
but he makes you feel so good you don’t even care
it only takes a couple of times before he’s completely in tune with your body
he always starts off slow and teasing
wants to wind you up until you snap
he knows exactly where to touch you to wring your orgasm out of you
and it comes so gut-wrenchingly slow before hitting you all at once
he’s definitely the kind of guy who’ll talk you through it
“yep, there it is. c’mon, cum for me, you can do it. come on, show me how good you can be. uh-huh. thaaat’s my girl”
he makes you come so hard you cry
and he moans with his mouth on you
because he gets off getting you off
loves getting on his knees for you
and having one of your legs folded over his shoulder
so he can pull you closer by your ass
gets so into it that he won’t stop until you make him
like you have to physically pull him up by his hair
definitely a chronic hand holder™
he’ll have you on your back with his face sandwiched between your thighs
and when your legs start to shake he’ll reach for your hands
“here. hold my hands. let me make you feel good.”
but he won’t let go of you when you come
he’ll keep going as your first orgasm fades into a second, much stronger one
and you can’t stop it or push him away because he’s holding onto your hands
you just have to let it happen and it feels so good
that kind of pleasure you wanna chase and run away from all at once
and after he just smiles up at you with the lower half of his face glistening with you
“see? i knew you could do it.”
eddie !
absolutely loves a woman in charge
would definitely rather you sit on his face and ride his tongue
he’ll make you cum once that way before flipping you over and making you cum again with your legs wrapped around his neck
and he’s so fucking smug
he’s just smirking the entire time
always wants you to say his name
especially when you cum
keeps eye contact the entire time
will look directly at you while he spits on your pussy
and grins when it makes your eyes roll back in your head
if he’s feeling particularly dominant he’ll stop whenever you look away
“c’mon, look at me, sweetheart. can’t keep going until i see those eyes… there we go.”
he’s a little overeager sometimes
sloppy and aggressive when he gets really into it
sometimes you have to be like “whoa, slow down, tiger. we’ve got all night”
and he just smirks at you like “yeah, we do”
then you’re eating your words because best believe he will go all night
he’s also got a massive praise kink
and loves when you tell him how good you feel
bc he’s not all that experienced
and he likes to know he’s not the Worst at eating pussy
especially if you have more experience bc he wants to be the best for you
and he Will absolutely brag about it to anyone that will hear when you tell him no one’s ever made you cum so hard before
he’s also super duper vocal
he loves the way you taste and will 100% tell you
pussy spreader supreme™
just loves to take a minute to look at you before ravishing you
and you hate it because you feel so vulnerable
but he’s so obsessed with you “god, you have the prettiest pussy i’ve ever seen”
and he's not even saying it to make you feel good necessarily
he's basically just talking to himself
will smile and laugh like a cheeky little shit when he makes you cum
can be a little bit patronizing but in the eddie munson kinda way
“i thought you said you couldn’t cum again? what happened to that, huh?”
you’ll also have to pull him off of you or else he’ll keep going
he could absolutely eat your pussy for hours if you let him
robin !
definitely has zero experience eating pussy
like maybe she’s tried to learn by watching porn
but definitely has no idea what she’s doing
she’s a little shy at first and is constantly look to you for reassurance
wants you to tell her what to do
“go down a little bit… a little to the left— yeah, shit, right there”
and once she finds that sweet spot she’ll work at it until you come
she’s super duper gentle at first
but once she gains confidence, good luck
will give you 1000000% when her mouth is on you
like even when her neck starts to hurt from the angle, she will not stop until you cum
she’ll talk a lot and compliment you the entire time
and will say anything that comes to mind no matter how dirty it is
“god, you’re so wet” “you taste so good, i didn’t know a person could taste this good” “you’re pussy is perfect. i honestly didn’t think you could get any prettier”
she doesn’t even know what she’s saying half the time
but it literally drives you crazy
also the sound of her voice is sexy enough to make you cum
and you’re constantly begging her to talk dirty to you
“please, talk to me” you’ll whine
and after the first few times she’ll know what you mean but still play coy
“i am talking to you” she’ll say with an wide eyes all innocent
but yeah she’s more than happy to do it because 1. she can’t shut up to save her life and 2. she knows how quickly it’ll drive you to your breaking point
wants you to pull at her hair and steer her wherever you want her to go and bury her face between your legs
is not against you sitting on her face
even though the idea scares you a little
like you don’t want to hurt her or break her neck or something
she’s just like “if i die eating your pussy, i will die the happiest woman alive”
and you believe her
nancy !
so in my head she’s, like, freshly out
and hasn’t eaten a girl out before
though she has dreamed about it many, many times
but when she goes down on you, it’s like she’s a professional
bc she’s a perfectionist and can’t ever half-ass anything
she’s 100% tactical and sees it as her goal to make you come
so she’ll throw herself wholly into doing just that
will call your pussy her pussy because yeah
i see her as being a little bit rough too
so there are constantly bruises and crescent-shaped marks left on your thighs and hips from her nails
which she keeps trimmed just so she can finger you <3
there’s biting too because she loves the feeling of your skin between her teeth
won’t do it enough to hurt you per se, just enough to leave a mark
she uses just enough teeth to drive you crazy
sucks your clit into her mouth at the same time she drives her fingers into your g-spot
she’ll also spank directly on your clit to drive you towards another (second, third, fourth?) orgasm
she can get nasty with it if she wants
and will eat you out as a way to get what she wants
if you’re upset at her, she Will go down on you
partly as an apology but also because she knows you won’t be mad at her after
bc it’s impossible to be after she’s made you cum so hard you can’t feel your legs
i see her more into praising you than you praising her
she’ll compliment you the whole way through
but it’s also a little bit condescending
“oh look at you, always so pretty and wet for me, aren’t you? this is all it takes? just me touching you? seriously?”
and i see her loving to have her hair tugged at
but like also
she doesn’t like to be told what to do
so if you’re pulling her closer to you or trying to pull her away, she’ll definitely punish you
“what did i tell you about touching me, huh? that’s not what good girls do, right? now, i’m gonna make you come and i’m not gonna stop until i see tears. touch me again and you won’t come again for another week, got it?”
maybe i’m just projecting but i can see her definitely having a mommy kink
and still has an air of dominance about her even when she’s making you feel good
she’ll sense you getting close and will command that you cum for her
her voice is so soft and gentle but she isn’t asking you to cum she demanding that you do
and definitely gets off on working your body to its breaking point

eddie figures out that he likes steve all because of nancy fucking wheeler.
it isn't often that they find themselves hanging out just the two of them, quite the opposite. this is the first time they've ever done it and the only reason nancy is even stepping foot inside the munson's new government-provided trailer is because she's having a crisis.
"but what does it mean," she asks, voice muffled as her lips wrap around the opening of her beer bottle before taking a swig. her cheeks hollow and her eyes shut against the feeling of the carbonation bubbling up before she fixes eddie with a glare that he doesn't think is for him. "it didn't... feel this way with barb."
and eddie's just sitting there on the couch, rolling a much needed joint for both of them, trying to follow along with what nancy is saying. she's pacing a hole in the carpet and her hands are flying around in a way that eddie himself does when the wheels in his brain are spinning too fast.
"... what didn't feel what way?"
nancy glares at him again and he gets the feeling that it's directed at him this time. he feels himself shrink under her eyes and wants to raise his hands up in surrender (he gives in and does indeed raise his hands in surrender).
"i think i'm in love with robin, please try and keep up."
eddie stills, his hands in the air and mouth open in shock. nancy's still muttering about something but his brain is stuck on the being-in-love-with-robin part of her tirade. it's not an issue, not in the slightest, and sure he's heard of people who... but he's never met someone who actually-
"are you even listening?" nancy asks, her tone firm. she has a hand on her hip while the other is clenched tightly around the neck of her beer. "what am i supposed to do?! am i just supposed to kiss her and tell her that her eyes are my favorite color and that i miss her when she leaves a room even for just a minute?"
"how should i know?! i'm not in love with robin!" eddie responds and he knows it's the wrong answer by how nancy's whole face falls in the span of .02 seconds. she looks like she's on the brink of tears, frustrated or hopeless or sad, and eddie doesn't know what to do with that either.
"but... you know. what about steve?" nancy's voice is soft now, and paired with her puppy dog eyes, eddie almost doesn't process what she says. "how'd you know with him?"
and if eddie thought he was stunned before, this takes the cake. a nervous laugh bubbles out of him, his face hot and heart pounding. his arms feel a bit like liquid and he doesn't know if he's even breathing anymore.
"nancy, i'm sorry but i think we're on two different wave lengths here." he needs to do something with his hands so he starts to fiddle with his lighter, flicking the zippo open and shut until the clink of the metal sounds too loud in the quiet room. "i don't.... love steve."
tears start to roll down her cheeks and yeah, eddie definitely messed up somewhere. she's wiping the drops away furiously like she's surprised they even dared to show up and she's biting her lip in a way that looks like it hurts.
"what are you talking about? of course you do." her eyebrows furrow which makes her look even angrier or disgusted and eddie feels like they're on a tightrope in his living room that's about to snap away from underneath them.
"well yeah, i... love him," he stutters over the words, "like i love you and rob and everyone. but not like... love love."
nancy's laugh sounds way too harsh for it to have come out of her. "are you sure? you stare at his ass more than i stare at robin's." she takes a deep breath, ignores the gasp of indignation that her statement gets out of eddie, and tilts her chin up like she's taking the high ground.
"i do not!"
"do too! and you're always looking for him when you walk into a room, like it doesn't matter if we're there, you only look for him. and you sit right next to him even if there's an open seat that's more comfortable. and you have this little, i don't know, tic when he smiles that makes you wiggle your fingers and you-"
"wheeler, you gotta stop."
"-always listen to him and he does all of that back for you and it's so obvious. i can't believe you didn't know you were in love with steve! you do everything that i do for robin and i'm in love with her so it must mean you're in love with steve and- holy shit i'm in love with robin."
the silence after nancy stops rings loud in his ears. honestly, he hadn't really given it any thought before but it makes sense.
the very idea of steve has his heart feeling a way it hasn't since he was nine and tracy nichols gave him a shiny rock on valentine's day. he does always look for steve when he enters a room, his very presence calming and dependable. he does sit next to him no matter what, their sides pressed together, heat radiating between them like a blanket. and god, when steve smiles, he does have to move his fingers, something to get out these jolts of energy that he feels licking through his veins.
steve is good and steve is a bit of an asshole but eddie likes that and suddenly the line between platonic and romantic seems to have vanished because holy shit, how did he live for the past year without spending every day loving steve harrington?
eddie reaches for the half rolled joint, licks at the paper to close it and lights up quickly. he holds the smoke in his lungs for probably too long but couldn't care less because he's now having a crisis of his own thanks to nancy.
"goddamnit," eddie hisses out as he exhales. "i'm in love with steve."
nancy looks smug, her arm extended as she waits for eddie to pass the joint to her before taking a hit. "that's what i'm saying."
"but i'm not... you know."
nancy rolls her eyes. "it's not going to bite you if you say it, eddie."
"i'm not gay."
the silence seems louder now as the paper on the joint sizzles. there's a dog somewhere in the park barking and he can hear his own heartbeat pounding in his ears.
"neither am i." nancy responds quietly with a shrug of her shoulders. "but i am for robin. and you are for steve."
she passes the joint back over to eddie and stands up from the couch, wipes off imaginary crumbs from her pants like she didn't just turn eddie's world upside down.
"i think i'm gonna go. i have a lady to woo." nancy looks happy. it's a good look on her, one he doesn't see all that often what with everything that's happened to them in the past year. she deserves it, he thinks, happiness.
"let me know how it goes," he calls to her as she stops at the trailer door.
"i will." with a tilt of her head and a with a gleam in her eye, she gives eddie yet another look that he doesn't know if he wants to try and decipher. "you should call him."
eddie snorts and takes a hit, rolling his eyes as he stares up at the ceiling so he doesn't have to look at nancy's all knowing eyes. it isn't that he's scared to call steve, it's that he's terrified. petrified. what would he say? what would steve say? he just figured out that he loves him, he hasn't had time to prepare a whole speech to declare it and-
"eddie." nancy's voice is sharp but certain and part of him thinks that robin is a lucky woman to have nancy wheeler falling in love with her. "trust me. call him."
after she's gone, he finishes the joint. he sits in the silence of his trailer and pulls hit after hit of sticky smoke until it's down the end and burning his fingertips. he stares at the ceiling some more, contemplates what to say, how to say it, how to do anything without throwing up.
he wonders if wayne knows, if he saw what nancy saw, what he thinks of eddie falling in with a guy. he wonders if this will change everything. wonders if it'll change for better or worse. wonders if he'll have to skip town and change his name like he imagined doing after he was cleared of murder.
picking up the phone is easy, dialing is easier when he has steve's number memorized like the back of his hand.
"hello?" steve mutters like he's been roused out of sleep. his voice is scruffy and somehow soft and eddie knows he's going to throw up.
"steve."
"hey, man. is everything okay?"
and it makes eddie's heart flutter in a way that a generic question shouldn't but damn it, he's in love. he's allowed.
"yeah, yeah. everything's good i just-" eddie sighs, scrubs a hand down his face to stop from twirling the phone cord in his fingers. "do you wanna maybe come over? watch a movie or something?"
eddie can almost hear the smile in his voice when he breathes out a yes, thanking whatever higher powers there may be for nancy wheeler.

Murray, after watching Steve and Eddie for all of five seconds, confidently walks up to them and starts his whole spiel about pining blah blah etc etc, and like, Steve will absolutely not have that, there is no way.
So he snorts, looks at Murray down his nose, and with zero hesitation lies, tells him “We’ve been dating for a month, congrats on seeing the obvious... Or not since you couldn’t tell”
He just hopes Eddie will play along. Steve is sending him the strongest signals with his mind right now, and, just, he knows Eddie can be petty like this too (that’s why he likes him so much, and yeah Murray is a little right but fuck him so much more for it)
Eddie ‘lives for the bit and to fuck with people’ Munson does not disappoint. He slings an arm around Steve and is like “Yeaaahhh wow, real clever observation there buddy.” In the driest tone imaginable
And Murray, well he was sure he was right, still kind of is sure he’s right so he just squints at them for a bit and then breaks out in a wide grin, and only sounds a little sarcastic when he says “Congrats on figuring your shit out yourselves.”
Except he absolutely does not mean it because he wanted to do that, he likes doing that. And now he's sulking and will watch them so closely because something seems off
Eddie and Steve, so committed to the bit and to not let Murray win, start fake dating. All while Murray tries to catch them in their lie, and they’re all too stubborn to give up
Murray starts to slowly think he maybe was wrong though because they really seem like a couple. And even though there’s still something there he can’t ignore the proof.
When they straight up make out in front of him, and he can tell that they’re so lost in each other they probably don’t know he’s there he's about to concede
But then after that, they act so weird around each other again? It’s like before but worse and how did the pining get worse when they’re actually openly together? Regularly have their tongues down each other's throats and all?
Meanwhile, Steve and Eddie are going through it because they thought they’d be okay but that kiss was so much, and oh god they don’t think they can do this? But they can’t let Murray win?
A week and a half later at their monthly 'we survived the apocalypse, again' get-together at Hoppers and Joyce’s, Murray just gets enough of how twitchy they are. He grabs them both and locks them in a closet and is like “I don’t wanna know anymore, whatever fight you had or didn’t figure it out”
They sort of stand there shuffling from foot to foot not marking eye contact until Eddie is just like “Oh for fucks sake, I like you for real okay? The bastard was right so can we actually just date? Please?” And all Steve's can do is say "Thank god," while he smiles the most blinding smile and grabs Eddie by his collar pulling him in for a kiss
Fifteen minutes later they come out of the closet (the irony and symbolism is not lost on them) all disheveled and a little too satisfied looking and are met with very loud screaming from all the younger teens, ranging from a simple “Ew!” (Mike) to “Dude we are right here what if we'd heard? Or walked in there and seen?” (Dustin)
They’re lucky they’re too distracted by this to see Murray's self-satisfied smirk because if they did they would have pretend broken up and there would have been another month of sneaking around but this time actually dating and pretending they weren’t

Eddie and Steve try dating in secret but the kids keep interrupting their date nights or are just always around.
Dustin keeps crashing movie night and insists on sitting between them.
Lucas interrupts their dinner to plot how he’s going to win Max back.
Max bangs on Eddie’s trailer in the middle of the night because she wants to show them something cool El can do. (Eddie and Steve struggle to put their clothes back on in record time).
Mike constantly hovers around Eddie whenever he gets the chance, and Will tags along. Mike constantly complains about Steve being there, but Will defends Steve. (Mike and Will refuse to admit they have small crushes on Eddie and Steve respectively).
When they all show up on their one month anniversary (which Steve and Eddie have both put a lot of thought into and even asked Robin and Nancy to keep the kids away), Steve finally breaks. He tells everyone that they’re dating, and Eddie shyly puts his hair in front of his mouth, so happy that Steve finally told everyone.
Max yells, “Finally! Next up is Robin and Nancy!”
All the kids leave at once to likely disturb the other not so secret couple.

Because of the law changing Eddie/Steve and Robin/Nancy get married on the same day.
The news breaks that it's official, and all four of them look at each other and they just know. They hardly even speak as they're all pilling into Steve's car, heading to find out what they need, what paperwork there is, when the next available appointments are at the courthouse.
Because of this, it's an ongoing thing that if it ever comes up in conversation, just a casual, 'oh, how long have you been married?' Eddie will always, always, look at Nancy and say, "when did we get married?"
And every single time, without fail, Nancy will explain, "oh, I'm not married to him we just got married on the same day."
To which Eddie will always get so so offended, " why are you so quick to point that out, huh? What would be so bad about being married to me? Steven! Defend my honor!"
And they fight about it every time, and Robin and Steve love it.

The fruity four go to their 10-year high school reunion and proceed to confuse the shit out of everyone.
None of them have changed exactly. Not really physically, at least. Sure their styles have changed slightly, both of the couples slowly combining wardrobes and wearing each other's clothes. Nancy's style has become somehow more and less relaxed at the same time. Robin's style is way more out there, as is Eddie's somehow. Steve's has become even softer, with more sweaters and worn shirts making it into the mix.
The most confusing thing to everyone else is the dynamic they all share. It's hard to tell who's dating who with tall the casual touches they share. Most of their class also can't understand how Nancy Wheeler is so close to Eddie Munson. Everyone knew that Steve's reputation had plummeted before they all moved out of Hawkins, but Nancy surprised them all.
When people ask about their love lives, they all give equally vague answers, secretly enjoying the chaos. Nancy simply says she's dating someone she went to college with. Robin rambles on with a grin about their first proper date. Eddie claims he's dating the most badass person he's ever met. Steve smiles to himself and just says that he didn't have to look far. It drives several people at the reunion a little crazy, trying to figure out the group's dynamics from those barebone clues.
Overall, the reunion is better than any of the fruity four imagined it would be. They later leave, all giggling to each other about the mild chaos they caused.

one thing i see the stranger things fandom forget so often is that robin is actually crazy smart. like, she knows four languages. she seems to be plenty well-acquainted with movies, as she proves over and over while working at family video. she's been in band as long as she's been in high school, and maybe even before that. i'm just shocked that we as a whole haven't taken total advantage of these traits in fanfiction. imagine her working a tutoring job on the weekends for extra cash. walking home from school, headphones on and language tape rolling as she mouths the new words. blabbing to nancy about a book she stayed up all night finishing, all to slip her annotated copy into nancy's tote when she's not looking. seriously. where are my ronance study dates. where are robin's sticker-covered flashcards.

My favourite thing about the Nancy and Eddie being besties headcanon is that Mike would lose his shit all the time when Eddie would go hang out with Nancy instead of Hellfire.
Eddie showing up to the Wheeler house and Mike answering the door thinking they're having a suprise Hellfire meeting but Eddie is just picking up Nancy and they're gonna go to the library cause the new books just came in.
Mike has already lost so much respect for Eddie since he started dating Steve and now Eddie is best friends with his sister, where is the man that jumped on tables gone, where is the cool rockstar.
Eddie chooses Nancy's side in an argument once and Mike just loses it.

Eddie is a curious soul, so really, no one can blame him.
It's not his fault. It really, really isn't, especially when Steve apparently refuses to bring anybody from his hometown, and never talks about his life from before. All Eddie knows is that Steve has Kids™ he would fight gods for, a best friend named Robin who is either a lesbian or more hopeless with women than Eddie's gay little ass (or both? Steve is never too clear on anything), and was mostly-adopted by his town's sheriff and his OTHER adopted child. But Steve is so- so- Eddie doesn't have a word for it, but he's obsessed with the other man.
Steve refuses to watch Back to the Future because "bad memories," but has casually mentioned that he's had nine fucking concussions like he's commenting on the weather. He wears a hearing aid in his left ear, and glasses when he's at home, but refuses to even acknowledge that he needs either. Steve wears the shortest shorts known to mankind around the house without blinking, but keeps everything from his waist up carefully covered; he even puts make-up on his neck to cover this gnarly, jagged pink scar on his neck. He carries himself like he's wounded, favoring his left side and limping when the weather is cold, but doesn't hesitate to volunteer for the more manual tasks both at work and around the apartment. Steve had even convinced Wayne to take a break and let him fix the issue with the radiator in Eddie's van while Eddie slept upstairs.
THE POINT IS that Steve is an enigma wrapped in a secret like some sort of riddle burrito. Secrets don't last around Eddie; he has to know, it eats away at him.
****
It takes Eddie years to be blessed with the information he so desperately wants. He doesn't push, no matter how badly he wants to, and he's careful to always come across as a willing shoulder for Steve to cry on; a few weeks into their cohabitation, he'd even stopped Steve from talking about whatever it was that gave him such awful night terrors ("I want you to tell me because you trust me, Stevie, not because you feel bad that I'm here," he had said. It was the right thing to do but gods did Eddie want to throttle his past self.).
Stevie had finally relaxed in their home, and it was beautiful. For about four months, Eddie satisfies himself with the knowledge that Steve was fully aware of their dynamic, that he can hug and kiss and flirt all he wants without freaking out his boyfriend (NOT roommate; boyfriend).
But then Hop visits, and Steve holes up in his bedroom with the man. Eddie feels like he should feel concerned, but Steve has already mentioned that Hop is the father he wishes he had, so all Eddie really feels is curious over what could be so important and secret that he can't know.
When they finally open the door, almost two hours later, Hopper looks angrier than usual and Steve looks downright terrified. "Eddie," he says softly, fumbling with the sleeve of his Bad Day sweater. "I, uh, I gotta tell you something. It's not just about me, so I had to clear it with Hop- and Dr. Owens."
"Are you okay, honey?" Eddie said carefully, already trying to find a way to place himself between Hop and Steve. It would be easier if Steve didn't shift back into Hop, like Eddie was the threat.
"Yeah, no, I'm fine! I just. If I tell you it has to be secret. Like, no one can ever know I told you and you could be detained for knowing, secret." Steve shifts, and his long pajama bottoms make Eddie cringe. Steve is not wearing his usual Bad Day Clothes, and it freaks Eddie out.
"Okay..." He says slowly. Steve leads him to the couch, followed closely by Hop, who takes Eddie's favorite armchair (like he did every visit).
Situated finally, Steve heaves a heavy breath. "So it all started when one of my kids, Will, disappeared on his way home..."
