so like what if you drew the thor confronting loki abt chopping off sifs hair and being like "I was drunk. It was funny"

i really need to design thor cause i haven't really like. thought of a design yet for him. anyways i recognize that quote from neil gaiman's retelling of the myths and idk how other people in the norse myths community feel abt it but i personally really like his characterization of them :3

Jormungandr gulped down the rest of his slushie, pressing his palm against his forehead as a brain freeze set in.

“My dad said security wouldn’t care as long as my brother wore a college sweatshirt,” he said. “Since he’s got a tiny mustache.”

“Your father sounds like a delinquent,” the man said.

Fun fact this is based on advice given out at my high school growing up. The mall had a rule about unchaperoned kids

So if Loki is like you know, the Third Wheel, how exactly would Thor feel about it now that the Trickster God is with the King and Queen of the Dead?

At first he wouldn't really care, in a "wow Loki keeps weird company" But since in the myths Loki and Thor spend quite some time together on adventures, I think the God of thunder would be upset that his uncle-sidekick is going off and about with his new friends.

Also Asgard is way too calm without it's local trickster...

“The rowan is the salvation of Thor.” Reynir er bjorg Thors (Icelandic proverb)

This drawing, made by Lorenz Frølich, depicts the God Thórr on his way to the castle of Geirrøðr, where he was heading to avenge wrongful treatment Loki had been subjected to at the hands of the giant. He had made the trip entirely unarmed. It was the giantess Gríðr, mother of Víðarr the Silent, who took pity on him and offered him a staff, as well as two of what would become his most prized possessions: the belt of strength and the iron gloves Járnglófar. As he crossed a river on his way to the abode of Geirrøðr, he was ambushed by one of the giant’s two daughters who sought to drown him. He managed to get out of the river by holding onto a rowan (sometimes rowan branches, sometimes a cluster of rowan trees) and climbing on shore. Thus, rowan is said to be the deliverance of Thórr and can be viewed as his sacred tree!
