Oh fuck. I know you‘ve received asks like this before (and I mean. I‘ve sent some of them, but those were really just little pieces of a grand fucking realization) but it just hit me why Leo is so relatable to me. It‘s because i am also the golden child. She‘s me taken to the extreme. I am an only child, so i was just the favorite by default, but still. I feel deeply smothered by my parents, even though they are miles and miles better than splinter ever was. I also get weird intrusive incest thought about them though (and honestly, that one post you made about dreaming of committing incest and it being fine and consensual in dream and then waking up and it hitting you like a ton of bricks - haha yeah it‘s genuinely insane just how fucking seen i felt in that moment), so there‘s that. There‘s also me not being what they wanted or expected - neurodivergent and queer and also kind of. A failure. I‘ve had many a crisis about this before and this fucking neglected ninja turtle just made me confront all of that shit and finally realize it in full and I think I am genuinely about to like. Explode.

I'll admit when i started this i didnt think LEO would be the most relatable, maybe that's just because I've spent the most time talking about her situation though.
i think golden children are always failures, tbh. i dunno how they couldn't be. no one can live up to every parental expectation, even presumably "easy" ones.

Writeblr Intro: Angela's Scribbles
I’ve been on Tumblr for just over a year but managed to only now find #writeblr.
I’m a neurodivergent human who has brought several other humans into this world (Mom, I’m a mom). I have a small farm somewhere in the backwoods of Texas where I live with my spouse and various assorted children, both biological and adopted, and our sundry animals.
It’s not lions and tigers and bears oh my! But more like goats and chickens and a turtle rescue. But I digress.
I’m here because I love to write. This addiction to writing started in sixth grade when my Language Arts teacher had us make books. And I mean we created covers (from cardboard and covered those with wallpaper scraps), dedication pages, Table of contents, the whole nine yards. Then we filled them with our own original stories complete with illustrations (that was the worst part for me because I cannot draw to save my life).
I got bitten by the writing bug. After that, I wrote short stories, and poetry, and created a monthly newsletter for my friends and family.
I have a WordPress blog but I found Tumblr when I started writing fanfiction and wanted to keep it separate from the rest of my writing.
I write fanfiction for Choices games, The Royal Romance, and Ride or Die (and yes, some crossovers). I write a variety of fluff, angst, humor, and smut. Some of my work is PG, some is NSFW. Everything is tagged appropriately.
I have just recently started posting some of my original (aka not derivative) work on here. My WordPress blog features mostly flash fiction, poetry, and essays, and includes some posts from guest writers. I have short stories that are yet to be published and several novels in progress. I write horror, fantasy adventure, paranormal romance, and gothic suspense.
My pronouns and she/her. Several of my children, as well as myself, fall somewhere on the LGBTQ+ spectrum as well as the Autism/ADHD Spectrum (both, fun fact, you can have both).

I first got into this in my Turtles In Time 2012 episode liveblog, most of it is copied from that. This is a no-ninja-no-stakes AU.
So basically I created this idea of them within the concept of “One of those tropes where the heroes are put into a Perfect World dream and have to help each other escape” and Donnie’s would be them all as normal humans. But it was so good I made it a normal They Just Humans AU as well.
So they’re all Japanese, Splinter is a single parent of 5 kids. He’s got his biological daughter, Karai (named Miwa at birth but she’s goin' through a Rebellious Phase right now so she changed it) and his four adopted sons. He’s a trained martial artist, but he never felt a need to train his children very heavily in it, because they live pretty peaceful lives. They know enough to defend themselves if needed, but they’re not ninjas.
They’re quadruplets, but not identical. Splinter finds it curious how they all have varying eye colors but are definitely all blood related. He adopted them sort of by accident, meaning to just foster them for a while when they were babies, but well, they just claimed his heart!
Leo is very into yoga and zen sort of exercise methods. He’s a total nerd, of course, and goes to cosplay conventions pretty regularly. Mikey usually helps him make his homemade cosplays, with extra flair like lights and stuff added by Donnie. He’s decently well-liked in school, except he tends to be a bit of a snitch and a hypocrite at times. He lets his hair grow out the most and wears mostly baggy shirts and plain jeans, very Chill Guy vibes (basically if Leo didn’t have to worry about saving the world all of the time). Editing this from the future: I've now seen all of Rise and this Leo isn't the same Chill Guy Vibes as Rise Leo, this one is more like... like you can sit in a long car ride with him in silence but the silence will never feel awkward or uncomfortable.
Raph is following in his older sister’s footsteps and entering his Rebellious Phase. He’s in therapy for anger issues, and uses sports as a release. He’s on the school football team, still very short but stocky enough to be a good player. He’s a little more balanced thanks to being able to actually go to therapy, so he lashes out less. It’s well-known around school not to mess with The Hamato Siblings, because both the older sister (who’s been known to carry knives around on her) and the short football brother have no issues Pummeling People Who Mess With Their Siblings. Raph tends to wear t-shirts and gym shorts, but sometimes he goes for an all-out Punk Badboy look. Only when he’s really feeling it though, because it’s a real hassle to put the look together in the morning. He keeps his hair pretty short, not buzzed though.
Donnie is willowy and lanky, though surprisingly not wimpy. Splinter makes sure all of his kids exercise regularly, so he’s got lean muscle, but much less than any of his other siblings. He usually doesn’t need glasses, but when he needs to make sure the smallest detail possible is perfect, he has a pair of them. Otherwise his sight is… passable. He’s the kid everyone hopes to be paired with on science projects, because he’ll inevitably end up doing the whole thing himself and be happy to just let you sit there and watch. He likes to tinker with electronics and chemistry, but he’s already planning to go into some field of Biology as a career, possibly something medical. His gap tooth is just because, when that baby tooth fell out, there was no adult tooth to replace it. Genetics, what’re you gonna do? It’s actually what got him curious about biology, so he doesn’t mind it. He prefers sweatshirts usually, or anything easy to toss on in the morning, because he has a bad habit of staying up way too late reading or tinkering. Yes, he is neurodivergent, of course. He usually lets his hair grow out a little, not on purpose, just because he forgets to make the barber’s appointments.
Mikey is a gymnast and an artist! He’s really good at gymnastics and wins competitions pretty often, and would be captain of the school team if he could just get his grades up a little more. He only just got diagnosed with ADHD and is still getting his medication and therapy regiment set up, but he feels good about how things will go once that’s done. He’s also the artist of the family, in that he draws the most. Raph is actually better at the technical aspects of art, but he doesn’t really do much art beyond sometimes going out with Karai to do some graffiti. Mikey however is always doodling and drawing, their house is covered in old wall drawings form when he was small. He has a million fidget toys. He likes to layer up, usually a long sleeved shirt with a jacket, one of the kinds where the torso is denim but the sleeves and hood aren’t, is the minimum he must have every day. He draws on all of his jeans (Donnie actually does too, but he writes down notes to himself and formulas and idea, while Mikey just doodles train-of-thought style). His hair is short and oddly poofy, and always gets in his eyes. How he does gymnastics so well in spite of that is a mystery to all.
Karai is very protective of her brothers, because she’s had one too many people say something about them “not being her real brothers” and it makes her Furious. She’s gotten into a real rebellious phase, because while Splinter is a good dad he can be a little too strict sometimes, and she got tired of it. She got piercings at a friend’s house, started doing the graphic liner, decided to get a big leather jacket and spiked gloves… she loves it, and loves feeling very powerful and badass. She actually isn’t super happy about Raph following in her footsteps so early (she’s a couple years older) but knows he won’t just Stop Doing Stuff, so she usually offers to let him tag along with her trouble so he’s supervised and not out spray painting places alone.
April met the Hamato Clan in freshman year of highschool, she was trying to find her class and they were all arguing in the hallway about where to go. Donnie broke away from the argument and helped her out. She knows he has a crush on her, but he’s a lot less creepy about it in this AU, it’s mainly just he blushes around her a lot and gets self-conscious when they’re alonetogether. But she doesn’t want to make things weird by telling him no, or yes, she’s not sure, so she pretends not to notice. The other brothers basically adopted her as another sister, which Karai also eventually came around to. She’s into things like astrology and tarot cards, but on the downlow, she’s a little embarrassed about it.
Casey was friend with Raph first, both of them trying out for the hockey team at the same time. Raph didn’t end up making the cut, but they stayed friends. Eventually Casey and Donnie realized they both like tinkering and making little gadgets and they became friends, and then Casey was talking about his graffiti art and Mikey joined in and they became friends, and Leo warmed up to him when Raph asked Leo to take over a video game fight for a bit while he went and got some snacks. He thinks Karai is really cool, and Karai trusts him to take care of Raph or the others if Casey convinces them to do some mischief with him.
Splinter tries his best to be a good dad. It can be hard, and he makes lots of mistakes, but he tries. He was raised in a very Traditional household, but all of his children are very much the opposite of that, and he struggles with breaking away from how he was brought up to do things for the sake of not stifling his children. Still, he seeks counseling so he can do his best, especially once Mikey was diagnosed (Donnie hasn’t been diagnosed yet but Splinter has his suspicions) as neurodivergent. He’s still strict, usually, but has been known to soften up sometimes and allow a bit more excitement into their lives and home.

Greetings, my name is Angel (He/They) and I am the main mod of this blog (and also the main user). This used to be a ask blog run by two people, me and Bambi ( @pjofan10042 ). If they wish to reblog this and add onto it, they may.

- I am an artist and writer and I mostly write fanfiction for what ever my hyperfiction is. I post fanfiction on AO3 and post my art here. I also occasionally work with my hands and make things such as jewelry boxes, fairy bottles, clay sculptures and dishes, and many other things.
- I own a lot of pets and have a huge love for animals and probably know way to many facts about them.
- If you give me the chance I can and will info dump. But only if it's ok with you, of course.
- I use headcannons as a way to get closer to my favorite/comfort characters. It can/is a coping mechanism. It's ok if you don't like my headcannons.
-I use tone tags if I feel my tone is unclear, and I'd prefer if you use them back. Or use a different form of showing tone over text if possible.
- I am an undiagnosed neurodivergent person (as far as I'm aware, currently working on getting tested for ADHD ^^") who struggles with server anxiety and trauma. I am a very socially awkward person especially online. Please be patient with me and inform me if I have made a mistake.
- I am in multiple fandoms, although I don't plan to bring anything up anything past Pg-14, I may talk about Helluva Boss or Hazbin Hotel once in a while. Though that may be rare.

Ask Mx Maybe
I'm starting an advice blog. Well, kindof. I might just use it to write advice for myself.
I used to work with youth and every day I would be asked a question I didn't know the answer to, which would lead to some great conversations. I miss that. I like to learn new things, and I like to share ideas and knowledge with people. I may not have all the answers, but I have plenty of stories and those stories can help us see a question or problem from a different perspective. I am not an authority; as I find what I feel confident speaking on I hope to become more aware of what I need to listen on.
Many of my life experiences have helped me to be a supportive listener and a creative problem solver.
I have been a care worker, a youth worker, a museum archivist, a curator, a tutor, an art teacher, a dog walker, an active listening volunteer, a telemarketer, a community garden volunteer coordinator, a housekeeper, a graphic designer, and more.
I'm a painter, illustrator, and fibre artist and have a BFA in art history and studio arts.
I am a spoonie living with celiac disease and chronic pain.
I'm a white settler living in Canada with family ties to agriculture and resource extraction industries across Turtle Island.
I am neurodivergent and have coped with with depression, anxiety, phobias and accessibility problems at home, at school, and at work.
I make an effort to maintain friendships with people across generations, including elders, youth, parents, children, and young adults.
I have been non-monogamous for 7 years and co-own a home with my partner of 5 years.
I keep rabbits, chickens, cats, and soon bees.
I have been vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free and have lots of thoughts about food accessibility.
I'm non-binary and trans-masculine and I have been using they/them pronouns for 8 years.
This year I quit my full-time non-profit job to start my own business.
What to expect:
Mx Maybe doesn't know all the answers, but might be able to help you feel better about not knowing either.
Each month submissions will be selected for the topic of a personal essay by Mx Maybe.

My Rise sona/mutant sona River!
River (she/her) is a 20-something-year-old queer christian. She trusts in Jesus (but not always in churches) and is an aroace, genderqueer, demigirl. She is also neurodivergent, (but hasn’t been diagnosed.)
River is shy and anxious, and wasn’t sure how to fit in even before being mutated. When encouraged and made to feel safe, she is very friendly. She loves nature (especially animals) and fantasy and art and stories and tries very hard to be kind.
She was mutated to be part white-tailed deer and then mutated a second time to be part mushroom (splitgill fungi specifically though I don’t always draw the mushrooms very detailed). Her power from the first mutation is growing plants (she has to know what they look like though) and her power from the second mutation is a ghostly sort of disappearing and floating ability (however she can barely control this one. It tends to kick in when she gets really scared.) River was visiting New York (from California) to go to a writer’s convention to pitch her idea for a children’s book. She got there a couple days early and decided to spend some time exploring parks and going on nature walks. Then being mutated changed things.
She’s too anxious to steal, and ends up like Bullhop initially did, living on the streets and trying to survive. Being able to grow plants helps, although being still part human the deer-mutant has a hard time trying to live off just plants. She secretly grows a lot of gardens for homeless people.
She’ll get help from someone eventually I think. However, she finds the other mutants (including the turtles) scary. But maybe she could be friends with Todd? If she had the chance to get to know them though, she would love the turtles. She would love Hypno and Warren too, if they were kind to her or she saw a chance to be kind to them. (It would depend too on if she got to see their kinder softer side or just the sometimes violent criminal side.)
She gets attached to people easily.

Just realized I never posted this here haha. (or I probably had and have zero recollection of it....) I forget tumblr exists half the time honestly. I’ve cut my hair and dyed it red since then but aside from that, everything else is pretty much accurate.
Anyway this is me - Ello I’m Chast! I draw random fandom things. I also write apparently because my brain is either on a spree or just straight up shut downs for weeks on end. I go under CastaSpellLiana on Deviantart and EnraptureEnchanted everywhere else. Your average Neurodivergent Southeast Asian. I have a turtle son and am constantly surrounded by children that aren’t mine. Don’t ask me where babies come from - I have no idea either.
Currently a Uni student majoring in Animation, is a mess but what else is new, and wherever I go, chaos follow. (It’s me, I’m the chaos) I usually either have too much time on my hands or too little of it, and I am very much horrific at maintaining an online presence so I would usually either be too active or straight up stop existing.

PERIL WINGSOFFIRE (yes i run a shakespeare blog yes im about to encourage you all to read wings of fire the children's books about dragons because they genuinely hold up and still slap)
Sexuality Headcanon: i think peril is bi i think that's her right
Gender Headcanon: on the one hand i'm hesitant to hc peril as a trans woman because she's. a walking weapon and i feel like that could get dicey. however it could also be interesting as a reason why kestrel might not recognize her as an adult. + in the sense of... scarlet supporting her gender as long as peril does shit for her as another form of manipulation
A ship I have with said character: peril/sunny maybe? i can't think of a reason why that one would be bad and i think they both have so much bright energy just in different directions yknow... like sunny is so sweet in a way most people (dragons) aren't to peril, and also i'm envisioning sunny curling up to sleep near peril because her heat reminds her of the desert :)
A BROTP I have with said character: i don't really ship clay and peril romantically because i feel like peril really needs to sort out her own self-worth with regard to clay (and i'm glad that, at least as far as i've read, the books haven't shoved them together + have put an emphasis on giving them time to figure it out! we stan actually well-written het romance). however i DO think they are buddies and character foils and he's the only one who can hug her so he should
A NOTP I have with said character: i guess peril and scarlet?? because of the obvious reasons?? maybe peril and turtle as well because idk i just like them as friends
A random headcanon: i know most jewelry melts when it touches her, but turtle's an animus, right. i think he enchants her some jewelry that won't melt & she's so incredibly touched because she's never been able to wear bracelets before (bonus points if it's ugly as fuck but she's enthralled anyway)
General Opinion over said character: peril my bestie my beloved. i had mixed feelings on her until her POV and now she's my best friend she's so much fun and her arc is so good

Gender Headcanon: generally i think of orsino as a cis man (and presumed straight until he meets viola and Figures Some Things Out), but i also once read a fic where orsino is a trans bear and that concept is so god tier

A BROTP I have with said character: i think orsino and olivia become friends after the events of canon! i'd like to imagine he apologizes for being The Way He Was and they get to bond over being... very lonely people figuring out their relationships to love

A random headcanon: he plays like five instruments very well but when it comes to singing he's tone fucking deaf. at first viola is like "why do you have other people make music for you" and then they hear him sing and they're like.... ah
General Opinion over said character: i'll admit of TN characters i probably think about him the least? but i think his character arc is really interesting (and can be played in a very dark direction but i'm ignoring that because i'm in nice-headcanon-land)

[waving] and dolokhov is like. hi?

Hi, I was wondering if I possibly get a match up. (If you are unable to or just not taking matchups at the moment that is completely fine. I love reading you posts btw❤)
I'm an 18 years old Irish girl that is openly bisexual and autistic. I'm roughly between 5ft4 and 5ft5 (not quite sure). I have short brown hair that has a blonde streak in the front and my eyes are hazel. I'm a complete animal lover, having 3 dogs and a tortoise that I named after a Transformers character. I love to draw and create ocs for whatever fandom I've become obsessed with at the time, and I have ambitions to become an animator once I reach college. I have what I can only describe as a dumb and slightly childish sense of humor and what I mean by that is I spent a solid five minutes crying with laughter at the word nipplewort (its a type of plant). I have a tendency to switch between not shutting up or just not talking (really depends on my mood or the topic of conversation). I can't to math to save my life but I am decent at english.
My family can be only described a chaotic as all my siblings and I are neurodivergent in one way or another (there's 4 of us) and my dad is on the autism spectrum as well. I do unfortunately suffer from anxiety though it has been getting slightly better (its been a slow process but I'm getting there).

I'm going to make a list of all the special interests I've had over the last couple of years because I'm curious how many there have been, I love making lists and also if any of you have the same special interest, feel free to DM to chat :)
- Turtles. I don't know a lot about them, but they make me happy. (Which my roommate knows and she loves to thrift, so she keeps bringing me random stuff with turtles on it. I love her very much🥰) And I love the spiritual meaning they represent in Lakota tradition.
- Native American culture and traditions.
- Norse and Germanic mythology, culture and traditions.
- Medicinal plants (how to find certain plants in the wild, what the medicinal properties are and how to use them; making teas, tinctures and salves.)
- Chickens. One day I will have a house with a garden or maybe even a farm and I will have chickens.
- Singing. This is one I've had for as long as I can remember and I don't think I'll ever lose interest in it. I think it started as a form of stimming, but I've spent so much time researching and practicing certain singing techniques and learning to sing certain songs I will also call it a special interest.
- Playing guitar.
- Psychedelic drugs.
- Psychology, especially the diagnoses I've gotten over the years, but any mental illness/neurodivergence is so interesting to me, I want to know everything about it. The diagnoses I've gotten are: Social anxiety, panic disorder, somatic symptom disorder, borderline personality disorder, avoidant personality disorder, anorexia nervosa, dysthymia and now I'm getting tested for autism, so that is also my latest SpIn. I'm also very interested in how and why social constructs are formed.
- Nutrition and dieting. I guess this developed along with my eating disorder, which wasn't very healthy, but I do know a lot about nutrition, metabolism and stuff like that.
- Fitness; running, weight training and calisthenics. Also developed along with my eating disorder..
- Body positivity and body acceptance (Started when I started recovery from my eating disorder).
- Mindfulness and meditation. I grew up with a lot of meditation and spirituality in general. A few years ago I did DBT, which is a therapy based on Mindfulness and I really dove into it and learned a lot.
- The Doors. I love the music and I've always been intrigued by Jim Morrison and ever since I saw the movie with Val Kilmer, I feel like I knew him personally and feel like it could've been me in another life.
- Gnomes, fairies and other mystical stuff. I just think they make life magical and I love them.
- Pre-historic times, mostly the stone age. Ever since I read the Earth's Children series.
- Hand poke tattoos and traditional tattoo designs.
