Hi friend!! I love these music asks!!

79. When you are sad, do you listen to music that conveys your emotions or music that makes you happy?

I’m a big fan of allowing myself to feel the feelings, so if I’m sad I’ll listen to songs that are slower, quieter, etc. not necessarily lyrics that are sad, but they convey a mood for sure.

If I feel extra sad, you can tell because I’ll listen to “Carry On” by F.U.N.

If I’m SUPER duper depressed I’ll listen to “Save Myself” by Ed Sheeran

80. Is your music organised by mood or sensation or do you just listen to everything at any time?

ooo this one's fun because i've actually been making a summer playlist every year since 2020, so i'll be making my fourth one very soon. this is also one of my favorite ways to categorize songs, by what season they are. every season has a song. there are a ton of songs that remind me of different summers specifically but here's one!

hmmm this one's tough just because there are sooo many. but i shall suffer and try to pick just one for now. ok i've thought about it and honestly, everybody should listen to the entirety of every moonbeam, every feverdream by bears in trees buttt here's one i think y'all will enjoy. if you don't believe me, the first line is "you're eating soup with a fork" :)

I love to have music I can sing along to when I drive, so anything I know inside and out is ideal. I don't drive by myself very often and I think my car has had the same Matchbox Twenty CD in it for a year. We usually take the truck as a family and husband and the kids play 90s west coast rap or Ween, mostly. I just sit and read books in that case.

Oh, morbid. I like it! I'm not sure about *a song* but I think that The Cure & Depeche Mode should just be on repeat...any song. Let people vibe with the 80s goth sounds.

I just wanna say bc I KNOW you're somewhere on tumblr, to the teenage girl who attended Take Your Kid To Work Day at an office building in Ontario, Canada circa 2013 and had a conversation with a middle aged woman in which you showed her your Black Veil Brides fanart and fanfics and ship content and told her about different fanfic tropes including a/b/o verse bc she happened to know who Panic! at The Disco and Fallout Boy were and thus you felt the need to show her your bandblr ship art, that was my fucking mother and I had to clarify all that to her including looking my mother in the eye and trying to explain a/b/o verse without sounding like a lunatic.

It's been 10 years and I still regularly sent evil energies in your direction. Since you'd be probably two years younger than me and thus legally an adult now, please know if this post reaches you it's on sight.

as a certified Old Man™ at this point, i don't remember a ton of my childhood clearly anymore. however, the clearest song related memory would be when my family and i took a trip to southern indiana.

crammed with my siblings in the back of the van, dual wielding my gameboy with pokemon red, a tamagotchi my parents had gotten for me just before the trip, and the radio was playing Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead Or Alive.
