A term to describe individuals who are attracted to men in both a queer or gay way and a non-queer or gay way. This can be for any reason; including being multigender, non-binary or genderfluid, having a fluid sexuality, etc. A counterpart to Strelian.

I did not technically coin this term. It was coined by the original coiner of Strelian. They had mentioned coining this at some point in the coining post of its counterpart. However, they have since left the community and their blogs have been archived. From what I can see, they never made a post for this term, but they gave it a name and a simple description.

According to the coiner, Strelian was made as an alternative for the term Straight Lesbian with a clearer yet similar meaning. I'm assuming Slederic is supposed to be the same but for Straight Gay/Veldian/Vincian/etc.

For all extensive purposes, this is just a flag for the term and if they at some point return to the MOGAI or LIOM communities, they have the full right to make a post of their own with their own flag. Strelian just really resonated with me and I really wanted to have a flag for this term to throw into my hoard.

If the original coiner sees this and prefers I take this post down, I'll do it no questions asked.

Agender bigender flag, made by placing the bigender flag inside the agender flag :) The green stripe could replace the white but i felt like it didnt fit in well. The only difference between the two is that the first has the original colors, while the second is more muted.

Thinking about the time I had an exclusionist reblog my post to tell me that queer people are dying, and then they proceeded to yell at me for being an mspec lesbian. 💀

They were unwittingly admitting that there are more important issues than somebody's identity, while trying to invalidate my identity lmfao. I suppose they thought it was some huge ‘gotcha’ moment, cuz ooh I'm so selfish for expressing my distress toward mspec lesbians such as myself being crucified for calling themselves lesbians, while people are facing REAL issues! Give me a break.

I know queer people face acts of violence, and mspec les/gays saying ‘hey guys, we'd like to be allowed labels and spaces too’ isn't in any way invalidating that. Exclusionists need to get over themselves.

I feel like part of the whole anti bi/pan lesbian thing is in part because of this way *some* lesbians view bisexual women as ‘lgbt-lite’ and this just overly simplified idea that all bi women fit neatly into the ‘likes men more or just as equally as women/likes them both in the same way’ and just overall nasty assumptions riddled with biphobia. I don’t think being a mspec lesbian is the same as being a lesbian. But if someone feels a connection to that label, then it’s probably a) for a good and thought-out reason and b) not something randos on the internet get to police.

i don't get why so many people are against mspec lesbians? most of them use the split attraction model and that's usually why they identify the way they do. and even if that's not the case for all of them, they'd still be valid because there's many possible reasons they could be identifying that way. such as having a preference for women while being mspec still? it literally creates no erasure, because they still specify they're mspec? please don't police people's identities. and yes, he/him lesbians are valid too.

Btw, while I know I don't have to explain this, I want to, so here's the reason I label as bi gay instead of just one or the other

I am attracted to more than 1 gender, including genders besides my own which means bi fits me

However I'm not attracted to any woman or woman aligned genders so gay also fits

Since I feel the two fit equally I opted to use both instead of 1 or the other

Wanna know something that's telling about Exclusionists? I literally looked through the comment section of a twitter post (which was already a mistake) which said "Hey maybe sending death threats to other queer people is bad" in reply to an artist getting death threats and suicide bait over coming out as a pan lesbian. ...The comments were saying "yeah but being an mspec lesbian is bad" or "lesbians don't like men". Yet there were very few comments addressing the death threats at hand. I'm sorry but if you see a post that says that death threats and suibait aren't okay, and your first thought is "yeah but identifying as such and such is bad", that honestly says a lot about you as a person.
