I only made my account yesterday but no joke this is what was missing from my online experience. Virtual pets, unlimited character customization, minigames, an ongoing interactive plot, roleplaying, old-scool forum discussions, and to top it all off: extremely thoroughly done and charming art direction.

I remember my sister and I made moviestar planet accounts. I did one thing before never logging in again, and that was making a movie about a swearing zombie (but all the swears were *) who everyone but one girl was afraid of because he was swearing. What Video Game would the Stranger Things character have been unhealthily obsessed with as a pre-teen? (in a modern world)
Mike - Fortnite. Oh, he stole Karen’s credit card way too many times, so much of Ted’s money has gone into that game, completely unbeknownst to Ted.
Will - I think he liked story-based games. The Last of Us, Life is Strange, Detroit: Become Human. Games that aren’t necessarily super hard but aren’t particularly super easy either, and they tell a story!
Dustin - He was probably a Roblox kid, let’s be honest. I also think he probably really liked LEGO games.
Lucas - Any and all Pokemon games, he has an encyclopaedia of Pokemon in his head at this point.
Nancy - Definitely put hundreds of hours into Animal Crossing. She’s super intense about it. She’s got a whole business running on Nook-a-zon, she tracks her turnip prices like they’re life or death. Her island is very nice, though. Proper cottagecore.
Steve - So, so much Call of Duty. He’s been in the wars in the voice chat, he had heard every insult and slur in existence before the age of 12.
Erica - Moviestar planet, club penguin, neopets. Basically any game that’s online rather than downloaded, probably.
Max - She’s sunk a lot of time into Mario games. She’s the kid that’s beaten every 2D platformer in existence that no one had the energy to. She 100%s them and then never plays them again.
Robin - A lot of Minecraft. Like so many hours of playing and yet she somehow still sucks at the game. She probably spent most of her time on Mineplex or Hypixel, like don’t ask her about survival mode, she couldn’t tell you shit.
Eddie - Skyrim. If you did the math he probably spent about 70% of his waking hours in middle school playing Skyrim.
