Paying my monthly bills has been true murder lately. I work two jobs and I work every single day and I'm still having a hard time trying to pay off my bills. I get paid so little between both of my jobs and my bills keep getting bigger and bigger. Just when I thought I was getting myself finically ahead I have even more bills to pay. Ugh, being an adult sucks.

For the past 2 years, I’ve had so many changes in my life. Changes that I had no control over. Changes that made me feel angry, depressed, resentful, insecure…non-stop negative emotions. From losing my mom, going from a two income household to one, moving back to Florida during the worse housing and car crisis…and gaining 30lbs. Theee most stressful and unhappy time in my life.
I don’t understand the WHY behind it all, but, I do know that this happened for a reason. God never left me though. He’s leading me down a path that’s meant to push me to be resilient. He’s provided for me in so many ways, a place for my family and I to live, a car, a new job with a salary increase, a boss that cares and pushes me to be more, new skills and I’ve been back in the gym. Although, I’m not out of the dark yet…I have so much to be grateful for. I’m working on not feeling angry, depressed or insecure anymore. I’m ready to feel like myself again.
Having a single income household is so hard though and I’ve had to really work on managing my expenses and find ways to save or figure out how to earn more. Although I make substantially more at my new job, we are in tough economic times. I read an article where people making six figures are living paycheck to paycheck. Go figure? With some of my new skills, I created a budgeting template in Excel to help me manage my money, pay bills on time and see where I can cut back and save. I’m kinda addicted to budgeting and creating them. It’s been so Therapeutic for me! NEW found NERDY hobby! 😂 But seriously it’s helped me in more ways than one. I enjoy learning new Excel and Google sheet tricks, formulas, functions…okay let me stop being nerdy lol. But, I’ve shared a couple of my templates with friends and they love using them! So I decided to open an Etsy Shop selling Excel and Google sheet templates. They are super affordable, easy to use and extremely efficient. I put a lot of effort and research into creating a seamless budget. And, I plan on adding all kinds…because I’m addicted. one thing I have learned about being poor is that you cannot for a moment stop thinking about it
#theres no peace#every little thing reminds me we are poor#seeing friends having electricity wifi heat food gas. it all costs money. and bills and fees and charges happen all the damn time#im constantly worried that i am measing up somehow or im not keeping track of my finances properly#the person handling our disability assistance application keeps coming back with question after question about my job#and i have so much doubt and fear that ive made some mistake in my answers that will disqualify us from support#and theres this sick backwards stupid thing where applying for and being on disability support is discouraging me from trying to make money#because the more i make the less likely we'll get support but i need to make money to live#its just fucked. and once we're on support i have to make monthly reports of my income so ill feel like im explaining myself all the fuckin#time#cus the system isnt built in a way that makes sense for self employed ppl who have business expenses to account for#sorry for the ranting i cant sleep#truly truly i think poverty is making me a worse persin#more anxious more resentful more jealous more miserable more spiteful#i have so little and there is so little i can do to help it#i want things in a more desparate and even childish way than i used to eant things#spend a lot more time fantasizing about magically having expendable income#not to mention the constant exponential guilt that comes from asking for help or recieving help. its guilt i need to unlearn but i feel it

❗️ The production company Studio WabiSabi announced that their actors Boun N., Prem W., Santa P., Sammy C., Yacht P. and Stamp P. have terminated their contracts and will no longer be artists under the company on April 15th. Shortly after, GMMTV announced the 6 of them as newly signed artists, along with the disclosure that BounPrem's upcoming BL Vampire Project is now being produced under GMMTV, who now also own all broadcasting rights; WabiSabi will function as a co-producer. New S. stated on Twitter that the decisions had been long in the making, as well as the fact that WabiSabi no longer functions as a management agency for actors and is now a mere production company. He also denied the rumors that the company is shutting down. Shortly after the transfer of the Wabi Sabi actors, actor Fluke Jeeratch (formerly Pongsakorn) joined GMMTV as well.
❗️ The Filipino BL Gameboys is getting a third season. An air date has not been confirmed.

❗️ After some confusion, the Korean production company Studio X+U announced that their upcoming series Fragile - which was initially advertized as a Korean SKAM remake - is in fact not connected to the Norwegian web series and is instead a standalone series, which focuses on the life of a group of teenagers. According to ZUM News, there was supposed to be a Korean SKAM remake based on the Norwegian original, which was however cancelled due to unknown reasons. Fragile was created as a substitution.

one thing that's striking me when reading the My Stand In novel scenes that align with ep 1-2 is that Joe aka ZhouXiang isn't stupid or oblivious. He doesn't know Ming is obsessed with his sister's man & using him to vent frustrated desires. But he knows Ming is completely self-absorbed, has "a bad temper", and swings hot & cold. Yet Joe/ZhouXiang is infatuated, a bit lonely, and is simply at a place where he's ready to settle down and get domesticated. Joe KNOWS this is Not Great Bob 🙃 but he finds himself justifying the allowances he's making (everyone forgives beautiful people!) and whenever Ming is involved now, Joe is acting out of character. He's fully aware that he started out just attracted and now he's digging himself deeper and he should stop, but he doesn't. And doesn't and doesn't.
It's painfully relatable: being self-aware that you really shouldn't get more enmeshed with someone... but not able to stop yourself from impulsively clinging. Watching yourself slide into a slow-motion car accident. Knowing it's partially your own damn fault.
It makes the tragedy that we know is coming - we know these circumstances somehow lead to his DEATH - even more pathetic, because he has his own part in this.
Like, he KNOWS the feelings are unbalanced but he's thinking, oh I'm making headway. I can make him return my feelings if I just put in the effort. Haven't we all been there once, chasing affection from someone withholding and almost addicted to the emotional highs/lows, thinking you've gained ground (they texted back! they stopped by late at night! they confessed a vulnerability!) only to see it yanked back.
If Ming is a villian in Joe's story, it's also because Joe is helping it be written that way.
