The ratio of Bakugou stans calling Momo a nepotism baby as if Momo didn't canonically work nonstop her whole life to be the perfect hero with no mention of her parents helping her get into UA and an implication that they're emotionally abusive and adultify her while Bakugou is the son of two well off fashion designers who did jackshit to stop him from bullying other kids and grew up being praised and given everything he wanted just because he was born with a cool power and natural smarts and those got her shoved aside and invalidated nonstop and him gotten away with everything by both the narrative and the fandom.......Grrrrrrr

Just Friends (Tokoyami Fumikage x Reader)
Feelings change all the time; fondness buds and blooms akin to blossoming trees in spring, adoration grows and thrives like sunflowers in summer, resentment spreads and overwhelms similar to dying leaves in autumn, loneliness chills and permeates as wind in winter. Yet, he remains, earning unending affection from you in an everlasting summer as you yearn for autumn.
“How was your book?" Snapping out of your trance, you glance over to your best friend; his own book lowered so he could talk to you, as you were seated on a beanbag, slightly below his position on his couch. “O-oh, um... Yeah, it was pretty good; I sort of guessed what would happen, but it was still entertaining and satisfying. How's yours?" Blood slowly warms your cheeks, courtesy of lingering embarrassment due to blankly staring at one of the walls in Fumikage's room. He nods in acknowledgement, “I'm glad you liked it. I am having some trouble understanding the choices of the characters, but it's not bad." He sighs, shifting in his seat. “... Um, by the way, you don't... Happen to... Like anyone in my class, do you?" He murmurs, uncomfortable with his own question. More blood rushes your cheeks, as well as the tips of your ears while your heart rate picks up- had he finally found out? Unsure of how to respond, you simply drop your eyes to the floor, hoping you could somehow avoid baring your heart to him; you'd accepted long ago Fumikage did not return your affections. “... Sorry if I made you uncomfortable. I only ask because... One of my classmates has been asking about you. I can tell him you are uninterested," his hesitant explanation indicating his continued discomfort. Hiding a sigh of relief, you consider his words. Maybe this could be how you finally free yourself from your romantic feelings for Fumikage. “Um, no, wait. Who is it?" All of them were known to you due to the sports festival, Fumikage's occasional venting, and sometimes even bumping into them in person. Fumikage looks surprised for a moment, seemingly not expecting you to even be curious, before he returns to his usual calm expression. “Kaminari Denki. He's a bit of a flirt, I can tell him you don't-" “No, that's okay," you interrupted, “I'll meet him in your classroom after school tomorrow, if you can ask him to wait for me, please?" Borderline desperate to move on from your best friend, you try to convince yourself Kaminari is a good option. Fumikage's expression is momentarily unfamiliar, unreadable even, until he once again recedes into indifference. “Sure." It would have been undetectable to anyone else, but you were certain his voice seemed... Hurt.
As agreed, after classes were over the next day, you headed straight to Fumikage's classroom. One of you usually came to the other's classroom when the school day was done, but this time, anxiety started to bubble up within you. Why did Kaminari even like you? You had spoken a handful of times, but you hadn't picked up on any flirting or the like- had you just missed it? Realising you had reached your destination, you shook yourself from your thoughts. Pushing down your nerves, you enter the classroom. Most of the students had left, leaving Fumikage, Kaminari, and two others you recognised as Iida Tenya and Yaoyorozu Momo. Maneuvering around the desks, you smile at Fumikage before finding yourself in front of Kaminari. “Hi," you greet, as he meets your gaze and grins. “Hey! I'm glad you came," he starts, looking around the classroom briefly, then turning back to you. “Would you like to go somewhere else? Coffee's on me," he winked, in a way you found dorky, but somewhat charming. Stifling a giggle, you respond, “Lead the way." He does indeed, and you follow, sneaking one last glance at Fumikage, you saw the same unreadable expression on his face as last night. A strange feeling struck you, but you ignored it and left the classroom, trailing Kaminari.
“So, how's the support course treating you?" Kaminari asked, leading you to a wooden table and bench outside the café he had just bought you both coffee from. Sitting down opposite him, feeling the summer sun's warm rays, you stir the brown liquid in your cup, watching it swirl, before answering his question. “It's good. Challenging sometimes, but I enjoy it. We recently had a big project,"- a project Fumikage had helped you greatly with, despite his own work; he always made time for you and offered you aid, regardless of circumstances- “so it's a little calmer now than it was then. Um, how's the hero course?" “Hard work," he jokes, sipping his drink, “It's worth it, though. Made a bunch of friends. Met you," he winked in his dorky, charming way. You raised an eyebrow while smiling, amused more than flattered, pushing the thoughts of Fumikage's opinion of the hero course- all he'd been through because of it, the strength he'd gained thanks to it, the sweet words he'd answered you with when you asked him if he regretted taking it- to the back of your mind. You and Kaminari spoke while you both drank your coffees, continuing until the conversation died down. No matter how much you tried to focus on Kaminari (or Denki, as he'd urged you to call him), Fumikage kept popping into your head. Tired after a full day, the sun lowering in the clear sky, you make a move to return to your dorm room, “Thanks a lot for the coffee and the conversation, Denki. It was really nice." “Oh, no problem! I had a lot of fun! Um, if you'd like, I could give you my number so we can keep in touch," he offered, smiling. For a moment, you hesitated, unsure- does he want you number to arrange a date? Was this a date? “Hey, no pressure or anything, I just thought we had a good time and had become friends," he explained, noticing your silence. Relieved, you agreed, swapped numbers, then parted ways.
Walking to your dorm room, you found yourself absorbed in your thoughts. Why were you relieved? You had a nice time! Denki was nice! Why couldn't you like him? Part of you, a part you tried to bury, answered you: because you were already too far gone for Fumikage; you didn't want anyone else. You had already known, but your heart sank all the same.
Cruel isolation chills you while you recline on your bed. Warmth always covered you when you were with Fumikage; despite your unrequited feelings, he still bathed you with attention, affection, appreciation... It was so cold without him. Sorry for yourself, you close your eyes and turn onto your side, considering taking a nap to relieve yourself from your thoughts. Knock. Knock. Knock. Familiar; you were almost certain who had knocked. However, limbs and heart heavy, you despised the compulsion to open the door, entertaining the idea of pretending not to have heard. Knock. Knock. Knock. Anxiety began building up for reasons you couldn't even identify, intensifying your feelings of loneliness and isolation; creating a sense of exposure. Fumikage always soothed you- even if your heart was racing and cheeks were burning because of him, he still never failed to make you feel safe, secure, sheltered. It seemed dramatic, but you missed him. Hopefully it was actually him at your door. Knock. Knock. Knock. Taking a deep breath to calm your mix of emotions, you stood up, shuffled to your door, braced yourself, and opened it.
Concern gleamed his red eyes, onyx feathers somewhat ruffled, as if he had been running his fingers messily through them. A deep sigh escaped him, relieved. “… May I enter?" Fumikage asked, voice low. Appreciative of his discretion (neither of you enjoyed making a scene), you nodded and stepped aside, allowing him inside, closing the door behind him. “How did it go with Kaminari?" He sounded gravely. “We, um, it was fine. I don't- I mean," you paused, collecting yourself, “We had fun, we're friends now." Blushing under his gaze, you gestured to your furniture for him to sit down. He didn't visibly react, simply sitting on your bed, and glanced from the space next to him back to you. Understanding, you quickly seated yourself where he suggested. “… Just friends?" “Yeah, Fumi. Just friends," you confirmed, slightly confused. “Um, but you're still my best friend, I'm not replacing your or anything," you added, in case that was what had uneased him. Fumikage tensed, turning his head away from you, mumbling something under his breath. Concerned, you leaned closer to him. “You okay, Fumi? Your voice sounds a bit… Raw?" Glancing at you from the corner of his eye, gaze soft, he sighed again. He turned back, facing forward, still not towards you, beside him. “I was simply… Slightly… worried." “About what? Like I said, I'm not replacing you, no one could ever be a better friend than-" “I don't want to be your friend. Or your best friend," he interrupted, lowering his head into his hands, elbows perched on his knees. “I thought"- his voice cracked, almost imperceptibly, then returned to his usual deep, smooth, dulcet timbre- “I thought you… Loved me." Mind scrambling for something to say, your widened eyes stared into his, glaring up at you from his position. At a loss, you resigned yourself to silence; you didn't want to lie to him, but you also lacked the confidence to admit what he already knew.
He sat up, angling himself to face you. One of his hands found yours, and you suddenly became aware of how sweaty you must be- he either didn't notice, or didn't care. “… My heart beats for you." Overwhelmed, you pull away from Fumikage, studying his face, searching for answers. “I don't understand." He says nothing, granting you time to think and speak. “If you knew, why wouldn't you tell me sooner? Why did you tell me about Denki? Why do you always have to be so cryptic?" You question, tears beginning to form in your eyes. He slowly retakes your hand, drawing you into his hard chest, wrapping his arms around your torso while you sniffle against his shirt. “I didn't want to lose you. I thought you might be happier with someone else. However, that made me realise I can't bear the idea of you being with another. I'm sorry. Will you allow me to make it up to you?" His question has a somewhat playful air to it, causing you to peer up at him, puzzled. Fumikage seizes the opportunity to duck his head, pressing the side of his face against your cheek; his version of a kiss. A beat passes as blood rushes to your face and your heart soars before he withdraws, gazing adoringly into your eyes, one of his hands rising to cup your burning cheek, “Be mine, and I, yours?" Autumn would never be capable of weakening what summer had cultivated.

Miss Direction: So i’ve been wondering and I don’t think its been mentioned before; when does Midoriya actually realize why they like being their vigilante persona so much and are trans? Also, once she comes out, does anyone end up making the connection between the two personas?
And how did they encounter both Jirou and Momo?
It has not been mentioned and I have not fully decided. It's after enrolling at UA, and I've mentioned that hearing about Asui's experiences could be a catalyst, but nothing final.
Jiro lives in Shizuoka, so it would be easy to accidentally run into her and Quirk Nerd Midoriya gets to act without anxieties thanks to her secret identity, so she asks about how her Quirk lets her listen to music on her phone. Jiro, of course, would never dream of not talking to that vigilante running around.
Yaoyorozu got kidnapped for ransom and Miss Direction went to rescue her. Of course, by the time she arrived, Yaoyorozu had broken herself out, but she was touched by the attempt. This is also the incident that got Yaoyorozu a UA Recommendation in this AU.

AU where Midoriya, Bakugo, Uraraka, Yaoyorozu and Iida are their prototype versions (so Midoriya is a quirkless hero student, Bakugo is nice, Uraraka has Gigantification, Momo is already a pro hero and Iida is a delinquent).
I think it would be funny if Iida was a delinquent but still keeps his canon personality, so, introducing the first delinquent you could confuse for a 38 year old business man. He's still robotic and formal but he's got piercings, tattoos and while he follows the school rules, actual laws are. A bit hit or miss. Izuku thinks he's hilarious.
Bakugo really annoys most people but Izuku gets along well with him because he's unafraid to razz him up a bit. Bakugo is like, a boy scout but one that is also a bomb, so he didn't have many friends in Aldera. Izuku thinks hes a goody-two-shoes and tries to be a bad influence. Hes very good at it!
Uraraka is shy but just as ruthlessly competitive as her canon counterpart. Izuku is also incredibly competitive so they can often be found doing stupid competitions like : who can eat the most chilli, who can walk the farthest on their hands, who can scream the loudest. It drives Aizawa insane but he lets it happen because it gets Uraraka out of her shell.
Yaoyorozu is Izuku's favourite hero (after All Might, of course). Her quirk is both the word's coolest and something that could be replicated by having good support equipment and being prepared. She actually invites him to intern with her, because he shows off his brain in the sports festival and her agency does a lot of investigation. They spend a very fun afternoon testing out Izuku's ideas for her quirk while she gets Izuku to come up with ways he can use the same stuff with support gear. She gifts him a very nice telescoping bo staff on his last day!
Midoriya is a wild ride. He's snarky to cover up his massive anxiety, he has a massive chip on his shoulder and is quick to take things personally but quick to forgive if you say sorry and mean it (if you dont he will hold a grudge until you die - Monoma he's coming for ur ass). Smart and tricky, scared of authority figures but covers that up with a smart mouth and bluster. Master at not getting caught, will smirk at you as you seethe in rage bc you have no proof he did something.

i really like your cg!momo post!!! do you think you could do cg!momo and little!hitoshi with helpful big brother little!denki? (if you don’t wanna do momo again maybe just denki and hitoshi?)
♡ I will always do a Momo post if given the opportunity. I will admit that this post got away from me at the end, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless! ♡ A big thank you to my dearest @paper--moons for once again helping me out! You can thank them too for the angsty idea! >:3c
Tumblr media
♡ With Hitoshi being an infant regressor, he requires a significant amount of attention lest he resort to shenanigans, such as toy chewing and woeful mewling cries. But his sibling set mate, Denki, is a toddler! From two to three, sometimes four or five depending on how he started the day.
♡ But, no matter the case, their regression sessions tend to get pretty messy, what with Denki being the one in charge of most things. Yes he can mix a bottle of formula, but the fridge will still be open and milk will be splattered all the way from it to the microwave. They would also be missing half a loaf of bread because Denki was trying to figure out how to make sandwiches without a knife. They both ended up just eating the bread and jelly with their hands.
♡ Safe to say, they needed a caregiver to mediate their regression time, and Momo is all too happy to offer her services! She has plenty of experience with watching Tsuyu, Kyouka, and Shoto, so she wouldn't be flying blind.
♡ Hitoshi is hesitant, as he usually is, but Denki quickly soothes his main man's worries by asking the question on the taller boy's mind. "That's really kind, Yaomomo! Though, one of us regresses preeetty low, is that okay with you? Totally no pressure to say yes!"
♡ Of course, Momo doesn't see an issue with this at all! She eagerly says that she'll get everything ready for a whole weekend at her manor, considering her parents are in Sicily! Denki doesn't get a chance to explain further before she's off to compare notebooks with Izuku, talking about how she needs to get his help in organizing her notes- Oh! And she'd have to get a bed rail for the guest room! So much to do and so little time!
♡ Seeing Shinsou still looking hesitant, Kaminari would take his hand and brush a thumb over his knuckles with a comforting smile. "Look, we can use this weekend as a test run, kay? If it doesn't work for you then we can try someone else–and if no one works we can just keep doing what we do! So no more pouting, alright?"
♡ To which Shinsou would pout more and say, "I was not pouting." Still... He seems more comfortable knowing that Kaminari wouldn't hold this against him if it didn't work out.
♡ The plan is to stay over at Momo's for the weekend to give this match-up a proper try, the boys bringing any regression gear or resources they feel comfortable sharing with her and talking about their respective regressions. Hitoshi was nervous, standing in front of the sprawling manor that was probably worth more than his old neighborhood while clinging tightly to his Build-a-Bear black cat, Miss Spooky. Meanwhile, Denki had already seen the Yaoyorozu Estate during study sessions, and was quick to sling an arm around his companion with that award winning smile, "No pressure, 'kay? If something feels wrong just tug on my shirt and I'll... Uh, we'll figure out what I'll do then!"
♡ Shinsou's shoulders slump and he fixes Kaminari with the flattest expression, and an even flatter tone, "Wow. My hero." And before his anxiety can rise again, Shinsou presses the call button to let Yaoyorozu know they're there! Not before grabbing Kaminari's hand, however. "Just a moment! I'll come get you," Momo's voice chirps from the speaker and the gates unlock, prompting Hitoshi to hold Denki's hand just a bit tighter.
♡ Momo is quick to come get the boys, eagerly detailing everything she's done to prepare for this weekend while leading them up to her home, but Hitoshi can't seem to focus on a word she says.
He's scared. There are so many things that could go wrong this weekend from him not liking Momo's caregiving style to the world flooding over... To Momo maybe not liking him. Hitoshi got so in his head about not liking this that he didn't even consider the possibility that maybe Momo would think he's too needy, or too whiny, or- Or—
♡ A gentle squeeze on his fingers is enough to bring him back down. Denki is smiling at him, rubbing his thumb over the back of his hand.
♡ Standing in front of the arching double doors to Momo's home, Hitoshi swallows his fear and tunes back into what Momo is saying. "When I looked up what colors appealed to younger age groups for you two, I found that there was a lot of overlap! So I chose some shades of reds and pinks for Kaminari since infants typically find red more stimulating—" Hitoshi and Denki stopped walking in tandem. Something didn't add up there.
♡ Hitoshi's clammy hand is all the push Denki needs to muster up a gentle smile for Momo and say, "Whoa whoa whoa! I think there's been a misunderstanding here, Yaomomo," He starts quickly, "See, my space is more uh.. Twoish-threeish-fourish, depending on the planet's alignment or something- Whatever, see, Hitoshi is the infant regressor, not me."
Momo looks puzzled, looking from Denki and up to Hitoshi. Then clapping her hands over her mouth in shock! "Oh! Oh my goodness, I got all ahead of myself and didn't even think to ask, I am so sorry, Shinsou-"
"It's fine," Hitoshi quickly states, "It's... An easy mistake to make." Drawing his hand from Denki's to rub the back of his neck, wearing a flimsy sort of half grin. "A mistake plenty of people make..."
♡ After clearing that little mistake up, things go according to the agreed-upon plan! ... For the most part. When talking about their regressions, Shinsou takes a back seat on the talking part and lets Kaminari take over and occupies himself with Miss Spooky. Yaoyorozu takes this as him being shy, what with her brazenly assuming he was the older regressor between the two, but Kaminari knows better. He decides very quickly that he will help Miss Momo make it up to Hitoshi, no matter what!
♡ Despite the mix-up, Momo proves to be a very competent caregiver! The selection of toddler toys is vast enough that it would have satisfied Denki's ever-changing desires... If he weren't on a mission to be the absolute BEST big brother/little helper combo in the whole dang world!
When Hitoshi struggles to slide into his headspace, Denki takes up one of the soft furred puppy rattles Momo had made and shimmies it right across the table to him. "Beep beep beep, this puppy's got a super strong sad-dar and a mission to eliminate all frowny faces in the world - Better watch out, 'Toshi! Beep beep beeeeeeep-" A few puppy kisses later and Hitoshi is significantly less pouty, and significantly more sitting on top of Denki and beep-beep-beeping him with an innocent rattle puppy.
♡ For the first part of the day, things go the way they usually do with Kaminari and Shinsou. They play around for a few hours until the latter resorts to munching on Kaminari's Pompompurin hoodie. Usually, they'd have to raid the kitchen at this point, but Yaoyorozu is on the case!
♡ Momo sets the duo up in the den closest to the kitchen so she can keep an eye on them while she makes snacks, but a hand tugging at her shirt catches her attention. Denki is there, dragging a Long Furby that Mina had personally crafted for him, and seems insistent on telling her a secret. She gladly leans in to listen.
♡ "Hey, hey, I'm gonna tell yous a secret, 'kay? You can't tell on me for it, promise?" Denki whispers to her, quiet enough to not alert Hitoshi during his coloring session, and holds out his outstretched pinky finger. He sounds so sincere that she knows it couldn't be a bad secret. So, of course, she locks her pinkie with his.
"Oh, certainly. Cross my heart and everything," And oh if smiles could shine, he'd match the sun.
"See, Hitoshi is a baby," He starts slowly, making sure that Momo is following along, "Babies need naps- But, not me, because I'm not a baby."
"Of course."
"So, I try to get him all sleepy, but it never works, okay?" A spark of frustration literally skitters through his hair. Momo thinks she understands what's going on now.
"You would like for me to try, is that it?" She asks, earning a nod.
♡ Well, how can she refuse? With Shinsou occupied in the other room, the two co-conspirators get to work!
♡ Denki graciously tells Momo how to make Hitoshi's bottle just right and Momo tells him to find a story on her tablet. He chooses Mog the Forgetful Cat, knowing it's his and Hitoshi's favorite, and asks if he can go get something from his weekend bag.
He does not wait for an answer.
♡ Momo makes jam and toast while Denki is off looking for who knows what, when she is interrupted once more. This time with a much more timid tug at her sleeve.
♡ When she turns, Hitoshi is standing uncertainly near her, hugging Miss Spooky tightly and nursing the pacifier he'd brought from home. Coloring had gotten boring without Denki, but the blonde had ran up the stairs on all fours just five minutes earlier so there was no one to play with.
He'd gotten lonely.
♡ This is very surprising for Momo! All day the poor dear had been so unsure of how to interact with her, so he tried not to interact with her much at all. So she considered this a big step forward for the rest of the weekend, smiling gently at the little one.
"Hello there. Did you get curious?"
Of course he did, bobbing his head without a second thought. "I see, I see! Well, thank you for joining me then. Would you like to help pick out a sippy cup for Denki's juice?"
That gets a more lively response, upgraded from head bobbing to eager nodding.
♡ With the orange sippy cup chosen, a snack made, a story chosen, and the lights comfortably dimmed, all that was missing was a certain little tyke! Momo is pleasantly surprised that Denki comes scrambling back to the den with his prize; a fuzzy, dark blue blanket that was decorated with golden stars. The two boys often shared it when watching movies together, so he considered it a perfect candidate to be a designated napping blanket.
He sets up next to Momo, and that prompts Hitoshi to crawl up against her other side. The blanket is thrown over all of their laps as they begin their snack time-story time combo.
♡ By the time the story is finished, Momo finds herself being used as a living pillow for the sleepiest little boys in the entire prefecture.
♡ She couldn't be happier with the results and looks forward to the rest of the weekend.

I Don't Need You To Tell Me. by AnAnonymousCactus
The connections of OFA and its Vestige Plane to its users results in Midoriya Izuku feeling the death of his mentor, All Might.
Aizawa Shouta just wants to figure out how to comfort his students with the information that their teacher has unfortunately passed on, it would have probably been helpful if he'd been told about a generational quirk beforehand.

Masterlist Chapter Two
Summary: “You could stay with me for the weekend.” All eyes go to Hitoshi.
The blond boy only shakes his head, “What? No. That’s your family time, I’ll be fine.”
Hitoshi cocks a brow at him. “I’m asking them tonight.”
“Dude-”
“𝘋𝘶𝘥𝘦,” He mimics, earning a playful glare. “Seriously, it’s fine.”
Denki then frowns, “And if they say no?”
A pause…
They did not say no.
|| Title from "Hallucinations" by PVRIS ||
Hitoshi’s use of his capture scarf has definitely improved since he began training with Shouta, more so now that he has people with different skills to test his progress against. For instance, he could now get around by using his scarf to swing him from one place to another, or in this case, from pipe to pipe of the factory.
Class training took place in Ground Gamma, a place that heavily mimicked a maze to those stuck on ground level. For those who could get around with an aerial view like Sero with his tape or Bakugou with his explosions propelling him into the air, they had an advantage, but thanks to the way the metal pipes and layout twist and wind together, it made those in the air blind to the ones who were hiding in the nooks and crannies.
But being able to swing around still gave Hitoshi the advantage of dodging attacks, of being able to travel faster than he would if he ran, that’s how he avoided the quick use of Ojiro’s tail, and that’s how he was chasing down Denki.
Because of the amount of metal they were surrounded by, the use of Denki’s quirk would be difficult to manipulate without hitting his teammate, even with the sharpshooter strapped to his right wrist. It would be different if they were in Ground Beta or Ground Omega or even Gym Gamma. But thanks to their environment, he was stuck with dodging attacks and forcing himself to utilize hand-to-hand combat, which was already difficult given that both blonds were up against Midoriya, now add someone who was personally trained by their teacher.
Behind them, they could hear the sound of metal clanking from something making contact. Hitoshi bites back a wince, and while it was bad of him to think, Ojiro being paired against Midoriya was a poor move. They were both good at close combat, but with Midoriya’s quirk, and that strength of this, he has a sneaking suspicion that the electric blond’s partner was currently being subdued.
Landing on top of one of the wider pipes, Hitoshi quickly changes the pitch of his voice changer to mimic Ojiro’s voice. “Kaminari, you okay?” Hitoshi watches him stop in his tracks, almost smirking when he sees Denki open his mouth to speak. But unfortunately (or rather fortunately, depending on how you look at it), Denki looks up and sees him. So with a cheeky grin and a raised brow, he brings a hand up to his face, making the “zipped lip” motion. And had it been anyone else, Hitoshi would find it annoying that his opponent was keeping a tight lip. But this was Denki.
         Besides,
Hitoshi chuckles, one of his capture scarf wrapping around the pipe beneath him. In seconds, Hitoshi was swinging down and landing a few feet from Denki. The blond takes his fighting stance, a cocky look in his eyes.
         “I like a challenge.”
Instead of using his scarf, he settles for punches and kicks. Each of his kicks was met with a block of Denki’s arms, and each of Denki’s punches were avoided. It was a back and forth moment between them for at least a minute. Swing, dodge, kick, block, neither using their quirks or their support items.
Denki then swings right, and Hitoshi leans back on his feet to dodge, not expecting Denki to hook his foot behind his ankle. As Hitoshi is falling, he grabs Denki by the front of his shirt, balances his weight on the heel of his left foot before twisting them around, sending them both to the ground with Denki on his back and Hitoshi pinning his hands down above his head.
“I win.” Hitoshi had clearly won. Any minute now, they’ll be announcing that our opponents have been taken down. Easy win, Midoriya.
         “Hey, sexy.”
A pause. Shock fills his senses as he snaps his head down to see Denki looking up at him with a smirk. … What did he just say? “I, uh– Hey!”
Denki moved fast, Hitoshi didn't even register the leg wrapping around his waist until after he was flipped onto his back. He was so surprised that he lost his grip on Denki’s wrist, as now Denki was looming over him, a hand pointing at him with electricity crackling at the tips of his fingers.
His previous grin dissolves into a calm smile. “I win.” Denki voiced, and before Hitoshi could open his mouth to reply with something cocky, the airhorn had been blown and their match was over.
“Midoriya and Hitoshi have been restrained, Denki and Ojiro win the match!” Present Mic’s voice rings through the speakers of the training ground loud as ever, the news shocking them both.
“What? Midoriya lost?” Denki questioned, looking behind them in the direction where they had left their teammates. He then suddenly cupped his hands around his mouth to shout, “Nice work, 'Jiro!”
And vaguely, Hitoshi hears the tailed-teen respond, and could even make out the sound of Midoriya talking in the distance. But he didn’t say anything, he didn’t pay attention to anyone other than the blond that was still sitting on top of him, and the blush that was threatening to peek out from his voice changer.
Cold crisp air makes contact with his face, making his cheeks flush red. It has been a couple of weeks since that night on the roof, and the winter air was becoming more noticeable as the seasons changed, what was once a nice chill was now turning harsh when the wind blew and made contact with their skin.
Not that Hitoshi minds the weather, he enjoys the winter season. It was the one season he looked forward to the most. His classmates, however, disagreed.
Their walk back to the main school building was anything but silent, but not all of his classmates were chatty, and as a result, there was small talk amongst them just to fill the silence. Each of them was worn out from their earlier practice with their teachers, his parents, trailing behind them.
Asui was being taken straight to Recovery Girl the moment they walked into the building. Due to how Ground Gemma is made entirely of metal and concrete, one of the pips had been broken by one of Bakugou’s blasts during his match, which left behind sharp edges, which Asui had learned the hard way when wrapping her tongue around the broken pipe to swing herself out of harm's way.
The frog-like girl in question walked ahead of the group with Uraraka, who would be walking her to the nurse’s office while everyone went to get change for homeroom.
“Jeez…” Hitoshi looks to his left in time to watch Denki shiver, rubbing his hands up and down his arms in an attempt to keep himself warm. “I wish Spring would hurry up and get here, it’s freezing!” Denki exclaims, catching the attention of some of their classmates, a pout forming on his lips.
Cute. Hitoshi straightens his posture, fighting off the extra shades of red that threaten to color his face.
Bakugou scoffs on Denki’s left, shaking his head. “Quit fucking complaining–”
         “Language.”
“We’re almost back to the damn school.”
Denki pouted further to the point where he looks like he’s sulking, He needs to stop doing that. Hitoshi forces his eyes ahead of him. Behind him, he hears their class representative sigh, probably due to Bakugou’s foul language.
“You owe me a hot chocolate when we get back to the dorms, Kaachan.”
“I don’t owe you shit, Sparky!”
“He means he’ll make all of us some hot chocolate,” Kirishima grins back at them, earning some excitement from their classmates and a glare from the angry teen, who huffs out and stomps ahead of the group. Though, Hitoshi doesn’t miss the shade of pink coloring his cheeks, and he knows that they weren’t from the cold.
         “Whatever, fucking nerds.”
         “Language!”
Some of their classmates laughed as Bakugou and Iida traded words over the hothead’s choice of words, others simply shook their heads but smiled at the back and forth between them.
Upon entering the building, Hitoshi looks at Denki, who is still shivering and sighs quietly. “So,” He speaks in a low tone, but it was loud enough to catch Denki’s attention. “You don’t like the cold?”
Denki huffs lightly and shakes his head. “I can never stay warm when it gets cold out.”
“Any chance you wanna steal a hoodie from me?” Denki looks up at him with furrowed brows. “If you’re still cold, I mean. You can borrow mine.” Hitoshi was now looking down at his feet as the boys walked into the boys’ locker room, them being the last ones to enter.
Denki, however, stops behind him, and stares for a moment. His expression was unreadable, but it was clear that he was thinking. Hitoshi notices his lack of movement and looks back at him. Was that not okay to offer? What is he thinking? What was I thinking? The purple-haired boy sighs, unclasping the voice changer from behind his head to pack away.
“You don’t have to take it, I just figured-”
“Okay.” Denki shrugs, walking forward, “Hand it over.”
Hitoshi did not take into consideration their size difference, with him being taller and a bit bulkier.
The hoodie itself was black, the design simple, some colorful splash art covered it. And it was big on Denki, the blond had to roll up his sleeves and the bottom hugged loosely around his mid-thigh.
And the worse part? Denki wore it for the rest of the day. From homeroom, on their way back to the dorms, throughout the entire night, he kept it on. Of course, Hitoshi hadn’t made a move to ask for it back, it’s not like he needed it right away.
Besides, it looks better on him. Hitoshi stops moving his pen, and stares at the top of the page for a moment. Promptly, he shakes his head. Nope. We already decided that I was doing this. He told himself.
Right now, he was in the common room working on an assignment for Modern Art. Bakugou can be heard in the background, barking at people to, “Get out of my fucking kitchen!” And, “Drink your fucking water, Pinkie!”
So, it was a normal night as usual. The only two people allowed in the kitchen at night were Bakugou and Kirishima, even though Kirishima didn’t help with anything cooking wise (not that Bakugou would have let him).
“So,” Momo sits down on the far end of the couch, right next to Jirou, who had an earjack plugged into her phone to listen to her music. The short-haired girl unplugs from her phone when the taller girl sits down. “What are everyone’s plans for the weekend?”
“What do you mean?” Denki’s voice, coming around the corner of the couch to sit down a foot away from Hitoshi. “Aren’t we just hanging around as usual?”
“I’m afraid not.” Iida spoke, setting down his textbook, “Now that we’ve entered the holiday season, things are going to get more rowdy. Villains are going to take advantage of the public areas and the vacation time everyone will be taking to commit various crimes.”
Momo nods, “So everyone has been given permission to go home for the weekend to spend time with our families, since we won’t be able to during the actual holidays.”
“Oh.” Denki looks away, down at his phone.
Jirou then looks at him, “You didn’t know?” Her question was met with a headshake, “Have you talked to your parents? All of ours got emails about it, yours should have too.”
“Yeah, I talked to them last night. But I don’t think they knew either. ” He says, “Besides, they’re out of town until next Friday.” Hitoshi looks up from his paper completely now to look at him. “We didn’t know this was going to happen and they're normally busy around this time of year just before the holidays. So we didn’t have time to plan things.”
“You’re not planning on staying by yourself, are you?” Momo asks, looking a bit concerned.
Denki only smiles and nods, “Yeah, but I’ll be fine. ‘Just means that I won’t have to worry about getting a noise complaint, right?” He giggles out.
“You could stay with me for the weekend.” All eyes go to Hitoshi.
The blond boy only shakes his head, “What? No. That’s your family time, I’ll be fine.”
Hitoshi cocks a brow at him. “I’m asking them tonight.”
         “Dude-”
“Dude,” He mimics, earning a playful glare. “Seriously, it’s fine.”
Denki then frowns, “And if they say no?”
         A pause...
They did not say no. Which is how Hitoshi found himself walking Denki up to the front of the on-campus apartment building for the school’s staff members. His backpack hung off his shoulder, while Denki carried his overnight bag by the handle with both hands, looking nervous, and still wearing his damn hoodie.
“You guys seriously don’t need to host me. I’ll be fine-”
“You’re not getting out of this, Kami.” Hitoshi tells him, pulling out his entry card to swipe against the lock.
He looked over his shoulder to look at the blond, who was once again frowning. “I thought I told you to call me Denki.”
“Okay, Tsu.” That gets him to laugh a little. The gate then opens in front of them with a buzzer sound and Hitoshi was walking them both to the front door of the building. “Look, they’re fine with this, I’m fine with this, and I’m pretty sure Eri is bouncing off the walls at the thought of someone new spending the weekend with us. You’re more than welcomed.”
“Yeah, but…” Denki sighs, “I’m their student, and I’m technically a stranger to Eri.”
“Maybe. But you’re my b–” He bites his tongue before correcting himself, “-friend. So I win.”
Hitoshi holds the door open, allowing Denki to walk ahead of him. But Denki had stopped, and just like yesterday in the locker room, Denki was staring at him again. This time, he makes his confusion visible.
Denki then smirks. “I thought you said you weren’t here to make friends, neighbor?”
It would have stayed that way, had you not come along and fucked up my plans. Hitoshi bites his tongue, rolling his eyes before dramatically bowing as he continues to hold the door open like you would a greeter at one of those fancy restaurants. Denki laughs, “Thank you, my good sir.” Mockingly, he nods his head at him before they make their way through the lobby and toward the elevator.
An elevator ride up to the third floor and four doors later, Hitoshi was grabbing his keys to unlock the door to his family’s apartment. Beside him, Denki took a deep breath.
“Dad, Pops, you guys home?” Hitoshi calls out as he steps in, leaving the door open for Denki to follow him. The door shut a few seconds later, right as Eri comes around the corner and darts for Hitoshi, wrapping her arms around his waist.
         “Toshi, welcome home!”
         “Yeah, yeah, you menace.”
“Oi,” Both teens (and the child) look up as Hizashi rounds the corner. “Ignore him, Dove.” Hizashi stops and pats Eri on the head before looking toward Denki. “Hey, little listener– Uh, are you okay?”
Hitoshi’s brows furrow and he looks back at Denki, who was currently covered in a light sheet of sweat and small particles of electricity crackled over his body. But the electric teen smiles nervously, bringing a hand up to rub the back of his neck.
         “Hi, Yamada Sensei.”
“Oh please,” Hizashi scoffs lightly, “We’re not at school, kiddo. Call me Hizashi. Shouta!” He calls out, looking over his shoulder with an amused look on his face.
Seconds later, their homeroom teacher walks out of the living room and into the entry hallway, looking tired (as usual) but more relaxed within the comforts of his home. Upon seeing the teens, he sighs, eyes flashing red to cancel out Denki’s quirk.
         “Kaminari.”
         “Hello, Aizawa Sensei.”
Hizashi and Hitoshi rolled their eyes at the use of honorifics, only the older blond reached over and slapped Shouta on the arm with a warning look. “Oi, be nice. We’re not in teacher mode and he’s our guest.” He tells him, shaking his head before looking back at both teens. “Feel free to call him Shouta. Or Shou.”
“Do that, and you’ll be in detention for the rest of the semester.”
Hitoshi leans closer to Denki, speaking in a hushed tone. “Don’t let him fool you, he’s a softie, especially to Sushi.”
         Denki blinks at him. “Sushi?”
“Oh! Speaking of food…” Hizashi then waves both the child and the dark-haired man away. Eri whines as she follows Shouta into the living room. “We’re ordering out for dinner tonight, want your usual?” He asks Hitoshi, who nods. “Great. Kaminari?”
Denki looks between the two of them nervously. “Uh… I’ll just have what he’s having?” He shrugs.
Hitoshi scoffs, “You hate sushi, though.”
Before Denki could open his mouth, Eri peaks around the corner, holding a white and fluffy cat. “He hates Sushi?” She sounds panicked, the cat in question meows in her little arms.
“He’ll have yours and Eri’s order, Pops. Come on,” Before anyone could say anything else, Hitoshi was walking Denki down the hall and into his bedroom, located right across from Eri’s room.
And had he looked back, he would have seen his parents sharing a knowing look. Instead, he shuts the door behind them.
Hitoshi took Denki’s overnight bag from him, setting it down by the door with his backpack. “Welcome to chaos.” He tells him before walking over to his bed and flopping backwards. “Don’t let my dad get to you. Just distract him with the cats and your set.”
Denki however, hadn’t moved. When Hitoshi looks up, he sees the blond eyeing the room, taking in every detail. To him, it’s the same room he’s had for the last couple of months since moving into the dorms. But if he were to get technical, the room was an exact copy of his old bedroom from their old place. So in hindsight, it’s the same layout he’s had for a little over a year and a half since Shouta and Hizashi had adopted him.
Three out of the four walls were painted a dark gray, the one wall at the head of his bed being painted a lilac kind of purple, almost matching his hair. His bed was up against the purple wall. On the left side of the room had his desk, some shelves that hung over his desk, and a beanbag chair tucked into the corner of the room with a standup lamp. On the right side was a bookshelf, a dresser, and the sliding doors that were the front of his closest. A few hero-themed posters were taped to the walls above his bed and dresser, some were of musicians though.
Overall, it was a typical layout for a teenage boy’s room. However, many would question the collection of cat-themed things in his room, such as the cat shaped squishmallow that sat amongst his pillows, or the cat themed clock that hung on the wall beside his bedroom door. Or the cat themed fairy-lights that hung from the ceiling over his bed.
         “Woah.” Denki said.
“In my defense, Dad won me and Eri squishmallows at an arcade, and the clock was a gag gift from my aunt.”
“No, that’s not what I meant.” Hitoshi sits up on his elbows, looking at him confused. “Your room is a lot different than I thought it’d be.”
         “What do you mean?”
“Well, at the dorms, your room is all dark and edgy and I swear, Tokoyami sees you as a rival edgelord coming for his emo title.” The purple-haired boy rolled his eyes, “I wasn’t expecting to see it look so… cute.”
“If you think mine’s bad, you should see Eri’s. Her room looks like it was made for just the cats.”
“Speaking of,” Denki finally moves, now walking over to his desk and eyeing the shelves above. His eyes looked over all the trinkets and nicknacks. “You said you have three cats?”
“Yeah. Sushi is Eri’s, Coffee is Dad’s, and Mocha is mine.”
“I’m assuming “Sushi” is the one your sister was holding?” Hitoshi nods. “So which one is Mocha and Coffee?”
         “You’ll see.”
“Can you be any more vague?”
         “Perhaps.”
Denki huffs out a laugh, his eyes stopping on a framed picture. Hitoshi gets up from his bed and walks a couple of long strides over before stopping next to him, his eyes following where Denki was looking. He almost smiles at the photo.
“That was taken on my first birthday with them.” Hitoshi clarifies, pulling the picture off the shelf so both could look at it more closely.
The picture itself was simple, Kayama was with the three of them that day so she took the photo. Hitoshi was blowing out his candles (which he was too old for, as he lightly put it when they lit the candles), clearly biting back a smile. Shouta sat in the seat next to him, his arm bent to rest his chin on his fist as he looked at Hitoshi with a noticeable small smile, Hizashi stood behind the teen, hand on his back, mouth open with a smile like he was cheering.
That day was the day he realized that he wouldn’t be going back into the system, that all of that horror was behind him now. He would never have to deal with another social worker or walk into an unfamiliar house surrounded by people who hated him for something such as his Quirk, something he had no choice of choosing and was simply born with. He would never have to worry about being shoved into another closet and muzzled.
That was all behind him now, he was safe here.
“You looked happy.” Denki points out, the voice is noticeably quieter. Looking over at him, Hitoshi can see a soft smile on his lips as he keeps his eyes on the photo in his hands.
I am happy.         As Hitoshi sets the frame back on the shelf, he sees the blond look up at him out of the corner of his eye, “So, what do you wanna do?” Denki asked.
He looks the blond up and down, frowning. Noticing his frown, Denki looks confused, and Hitoshi crosses his arms over his chest. “Alright. Spill.”
         “What?”
“You’ve been a nervous wreck about coming over since last night. What’s up?”
         “Pfft, I’m not nervous.”
“My Dad literally had to turn off your Quirk so you don't accidentally shock everyone.”
“Please don’t say that your dad had to turn me off–”
“You little shit.” Denki laughs, and Hitoshi shakes his head in disgust, but mostly from amusement. “Seriously. What’s up?”
Denki looks around them, probably looking for a distraction right about now. Sighing in defeat, the blond cracks. “I’ve… Never had a sleepover before.”
         A pause.
         Hitoshi blinks. “Huh?”
“Like…” The blond looks down at Hitoshi’s chest, reaching his hands across the small gap (when did they get so close?) and starts picking at a loose thread on his jacket. “Obviously, with all of us living together, it’s like one big sleepover, right? But in reality, it’s more like we’re all roommates. And my school life before UA wasn’t exactly happy, so no one ever invited me to spend the night. Sure, I’d be invited to parties, but that’s different.”
“You’re telling me that the entire reason why you’ve been a nervous wreck is because no one’s ever asked you to sleep over before?”
Hitoshi watches as the blond flushes a light shade of pink. “Well, when you put it like that, it sounds stupid.”
“I didn’t say that.” Hitoshi says. “Why didn’t they ever invite you over?”
Denki shrugs, eyes dipping slightly. He looks a bit sad while he thinks of an answer. “I didn’t exactly have the best control over my Quirk before UA. Sure, I had friends, everyone would always tell me that I was easy to talk to and my personality made me the life of the party.” He says that last part with a bit of sarcasm in his voice, clearly not liking the title he was given.
Denki loses interest in the thread quickly, his hand now curling into a loose ball against Hitoshi’s chest as he continues. “I didn’t mind it, at the time. I was just happy people were hanging out with me. But when you can’t control your quirk when you get too excited and wind up electrocuting people because of it… Who really wants to be around you longer than they have to be?”
Hitoshi goes quiet for a moment, looking a bit surprised by the sudden drop of Denki’s background. He knew about the truth or dare story, given that they had talked about their sexualities before. He knew that the kids from middle school were assholes. But aside from that one story, Denki never gave any indication that his life before UA was all bad.
“I mean… You kind of are the life of the party.” Denki scoffs, and Hitoshi sighs. The taller of the two steps forward, leaving no space between them, which causes Denki to look up at him. “Even if they meant it as an insult, you are. Every room you walk into, everything lights up. Everyone is in a better mood when you’re around, you know how to make people smile, whether you’re joking around or just having a random ass conversation on who your favorite Naruto character is–”
“Which is obviously Neji. That guy was like, my bisexual awakening.”
“Eh, he was alright.” Denki audibly gasped in horror, making Hitoshi smirk. “Itachi was my gay awakening.”
“Well duh, of course you’d be attracted to the obvious gay character.”
“Anyway.” Hitoshi rolls his eyes playfully, and Denki smiles. “The fact that they singled you out for something you couldn’t control at the time just means that they were never worth being around, ya dig?” He mimics his Pops’ words, which spurs on another light laugh from the blond in front of him. “Don’t be nervous about this weekend. And you know what? I’m gonna make this weekend the best you’ve ever had.”
“Setting the bar high, are you?” Denki grins, leaning in a bit closer.
That’s when Hitoshi realizes just how close they are. Their faces were inches from each other.
But either Denki doesn’t notice or doesn’t care, because he continues to smile up at him. “And just how are you gonna make this the best weekend?”
Hitoshi only cocks a brow at him, that smirk on his face dipping down into a mischievous grin.  “You’ll see.”
After a while, Denki’s nerves calmed down a bit. They didn’t leave Hitoshi’s room right away, instead, they were tucked against each other’s side and Denki watched as Hitoshi played on his Switch for an hour, Five Nights at Freddy’s three on the screen.
The blond frowns at the screen. “I never understood the third game.” He admits, “There’s only one animatronic and the story doesn’t make sense.”
Hitoshi eyes him out of the corner of his eye, “You know the story from the first game though, the one where the original security guard, or the Purple Man, killed the children and hid their bodies in the suits?” Denki nods, “Well, the last mini game cutscene in game three shows the souls of those kids getting revenge on that security guard, by killing him with the Springtrap suit.”
“Damn,” Denki’s eyes widened slightly. “He had it coming, but that’s brutal.” Hitoshi chuckles, and Denki looks up from the screen to look at his face. “You know a lot about the lore for these games, don’t you?”
Hitoshi shrugs, flipping through the game’s security cameras. “It’s an interesting concept for a storyline. The fourth game is the one I had trouble understanding since it doesn’t take place in a security room like the first three games and you have to rely on sound instead of cameras, you’re also not playing as an adult but as a kid.”
“Did you ever figure out the story for that one?”
“Eh, sort of?” The sound of a jumpscare makes Denki jerk, and the familiar game over title falls over the screen. Hitoshi doesn’t seem bothered by it though and looks toward Denki, “Again, they use mini games in between each night to tell you the story. At first, I thought the kid we play as was the same one we play in the mini games for the fourth game. The backstory is that the boy was being abused by his father and brother, and his brother tormented him a lot. Do you remember the bite of the ‘87 scene from the second game?”
Denki nods before Hitoshi continues. “The fourth game does a full circle back to that scene, the kid’s brother and his friends would pick on him, and one day when they were at the pizzeria for his birthday, they picked him up and brought him closer to Golden Freddy for a “kiss.” Hitoshi makes air quotations with his fingers before continuing. “Well, the kid was crying a lot, and his tears got into the wiring and caused Golden Freddy to malfunction, which caused its jaw to bite down on him.”
Denki’s eyes widened. “Are you saying his brother got him killed?” Hitoshi nods. “Oh my god.”
“That’s not the interesting part. Once I understood that, I came to the conclusion that the kid we were playing with wasn't the one who was abused and killed, but rather it was the brother. Cause in one of the scenes, you’re hearing what sounds like Fredbear saying “I will put you back together” before the kid dies.”
“So the animatronics in the fourth game are trying to avenge the kid’s death by trying to kill his brother.” Denki guessed, which made Hitoshi nod. “Holy shit, that’s fucked.”
“That’s just the conclusion I came to, though. There’s a whole load of people online who probably have way better theories and know how the lore goes better than I do.”
Hitoshi watches as the other shivers, “If their theories are just as gruesome as that one, I think I’m good.” Denki tells him.
Chuckling, Hitoshi opens his mouth to comment before he is interrupted. “DINNER’S HERE!”
The blond jumps, but Hitoshi only rolls his eyes. Outside his bedroom door, they hear the sound of tiny footsteps walk up to his door, and on cue, there is a small knock on his door.
Hitoshi sets down his switch and walks over, opening his door to reveal Eri standing there. Her hands brought up to rub her ears, and he doesn’t blame her for it, knowing she was probably in the living room just a moment ago.
“Food is here.” She tells them, as if Hizashi hadn’t announced it for everyone in the building to know.
Both teens follow her out into the living room, the aroma of tonight’s takeout filling Hitoshi’s senses and reminding him that he hasn’t eaten anything except breakfast this morning. As they walk into the kitchen though, the three of them witness a humorous sight, which is Shouta scowling Hizashi as he rubs his temple tiredly.
“What have we discussed about using your Quirk to make announcements indoors?”
“Only do it if it’s an emergency?” Hizashi questions sheepishly.
Shouta sighs. “And is dinner an emergency?”
This time, the older blond straightens up with a hand on his hips and a finger pointing accusingly at his husband. “Considering if I weren’t around, your only source of food would be jelly pouches and coffee and you would have dragged our son into that same habit? Yes. Yes it is.” He grins.
Shouta raises a brow, “And our daughter?”
Hizashi shrugs, “We both know damn well that she takes after me,” He states as if it was common knowledge. “And we both know she would whip you two into shape if I weren’t around, ain’t that right, little listeners?” He turns his head toward the entryway, Shouta following in suit to see the three of them. “Also Kaminari, how do you feel about American food?”
“It is the second love of my life.”
Hitoshi scoffs, raising a brow at him. “And who was your first love?”
Denki’s expression softens. “My mom…” A pause. “Wait… No, hold on, that can be taken out of context–” Hitoshi swallows a laugh while Eri does not, a shade of pink colors the blond teen’s face. “Obviously I love my mom but in a platonic way– Oh god, I’m making this worse.” Hitoshi fails to swallow the next laugh that bubbles up in his mouth as Denki hides his face in his hands. “Quit laughing!”
“Whatever,” Hitoshi shakes his head, a smile on his face as he walks over to the kitchen table. “Come and eat the second love of your life.”
         “Now you’re just being weird.”
Dinner starts off fine, Hizashi and Denki make small talk (mostly in English, which peeved Eri as hasn’t begun to learn any English just yet), Hitoshi ate his sushi in silence while Shouta was making sure Eri ate her food.
Just as Hizashi began asking about what movie they should watch after dinner, Eri asked Denki a question that nearly made Hitoshi choke.
         “Are you and ‘Toshi dating?”
         A pause.
Hitoshi jerks forward as a piece of his food nearly gets stuck in his throat, and Denki looks at the girl with wide eyes (and a blush). Meanwhile, both parents were both surprised, and amused by her question.
“Eri!” Hitoshi snarled, no real heat behind it, but he felt embarrassed.
Hizashi, biting back a laugh, speaks up, “Dove, why do you think that?”
The little girl shrugs, “He’s wearing Toshi's favorite hoodie. No one ever touches his favorite hoodie.” The notion makes Hitoshi sink down into his chair.
That little traitor! He wants to scream. His eyes flicker to Denki, and he almost looks away immediately when he sees Denki staring back at him, looking conflicted.
There was a pregnant silence for a moment. If Hitoshi had the courage, he would look and see Shouta looking between both boys with curiosity, as if he had already suspected something. Instead, Hitoshi kept his eyes trained on Denki’s.
The young blond clears his throat, looking toward Eri while shaking his head. “No, we’re not dating, Eri.” When she pouts, he almost looks apologetic. “Also,” He looks back at Hitoshi, “Your favorite hoodie?” He smirks.
         “You’re sleeping on the floor.”
         “Wha- Not fair!”
         “Totally fair.”
“Anyway,” Hizashi spoke up again, making everyone look toward him, he swallows a laugh before continuing. “I was thinking we could all go to the mall tomorrow?” Cue an annoyed sound from the two anti-social family members. “I have to do some shopping for the house, anyway. And you three,” He looks at the three youngest, “Can hang out at the arcade for a bit too.”
“Can I get another squishmallow?” Eri asked excitedly.
“If you can win it.” Hitoshi grumbles, making her whine.
Denki rolls his eyes at his behavior. “Don’t worry, Eri, I’ll help you win a squishmallow.” He reassures her. “Your brother probably sucks at the games anyways so leave it to me.”
         “Oh really?”
         “Yep.”
Dinner wraps up shortly after that. Denki helps Hizashi clean up while Eri was sent to the living room to look for tonight’s movie. Meanwhile, Hitoshi was about to go join her when Shouta stops him in his tracks.
“So,” Shouta starts, leaning on the doorframe that divides the kitchen from the main hall that leads throughout the entire apartment. Hitoshi stood in the doorway to the living room, looking back at Shouta. “You and Kaminari?” The older man raises a brow, “I thought we agreed on no more loud blondes?”
The question makes Hitoshi blush. Despite the ongoing joke that ran in their family, the implications that came with that joking question left him flustered. “D-Dad, no!” He hisses, peaking around Shouta to see that Denki and Hizashi were involved in their own conversation. “It’s not like that. Denki’s just a friend.”
“Just a friend that you’re on a first name basis with?”
Hitoshi doesn’t respond right away to that. Instead, lavender eyes flickered between his father and the boy in the kitchen behind the older man. “I swear, it’s not like that with me and him.”
Shouta looks at him for a moment, eyes narrowing onto him. “You know, even if they were-”
“They’re not.” Hitoshi says firmly. “Denki’s just a friend. Nothing more.”
A wave of silence falls over both father and son. Behind Shouta, they could hear both blonds lost in their own conversation (which was mostly in English), and behind Hitoshi, the sound of voices coming from the TV echoed in their ears as Eri flipped between channels.
Is he just a friend, though? One part of his brain nagged, and that made him tense. Of course he is. The other part of his brain argued. But… Do friends act the way we do? Denki’s laugh interrupts his thoughts and his breath hitches, he looks past Shouta and sees the blond tossing his head back with a loud laugh, a wide smile on his face.
And he couldn’t get his heart to stop fluttering after that.

Fireworks
Fireworks by pepper minttt
Izuku was used to hearing explosions. All through middle school, Katsuki would not only mentally bully him, but physically as well. He would punch and kick him every day and use his quirk to blow explosions at Izuku almost every day. Since Izuku was used to it, why would it still bother him? Why would he get nervous at the sound of sulfur, charcoal, and potassium nitrate exploding in the air? It was more of a popping-exploding noise than just an exploding noise, too. -Also, he's a hero in training. Of course he hears explosions all the time. In training, on the battle field, you name it! Maybe it was how the day started that when he heard the terrible sound of the fireworks that he finally…snapped.

hi! could a get a mha matchup? i would prefer a UA student!! im 176cm, i have mid length wavy brown hair and eyes. i love piano, music, volleyball, and reading. my big three are leo Sun sag moon and cap rising, my mbti is infj, my hogwarts house is raven claw, and my enneagram is type 5. physical touch and quality time are my love languages , and very important to me!! im pretty shy and quiet, until im comfortable, and then i can get a bitttt more hyper. i am a smiley person, and i laugh pretty easily. i love learning about other people, how they work, what they like, things like that. im not great with making friends, becuase I have very low self esstem and immediately assume everyone i meet hates me for some reason, and does not want to be my friend. :/ i also cry very easily, and when i first realized i had made a couple of friends becuase they had directly called us friends, i cried for almost two hours. im also a sucker for sad books, and i cry loads over them too. My ideal partner would be someone who would love me unconditionally, and who i could have calm discussions with instead of fights. people yelling at me triggers my anxiety + anxiety attacks. my partner would also have to have more of a backbone then me, and be able to stand up for themselves. this sounds a little selfish, but i would want someone to love me enough to spoil me a bit too, with gifts and things! thanks for reading, don’t feel pressured at all to answer this!!! have an amazing day, and don’t forget to take care of yourself <3
Aww this ask was so sweet, I hope you enjoy your match-up! Yours was really easy for me to write, as soon as I read it I knew exactly which character to pair you up with so I hope you enjoy! :)
I’d Match You With:
Momo Yaoyorozu!
Tumblr media
Reasoning:
To me, Momo seems to fit a lot of the things you say you’d want/need in a life partner, and I think the two of you would complement each other nicely. You’d be able to grow together, and it’s very easy for her to be the kind of partner you need and vice versa.
Headcanons About Your Relationship:
Momo is absolutely the perfect gf for you if you like to be spoiled, she has the money to spend on you and is more than happy to do so if it makes you happy. Sometimes that means joint shopping trips where you get to try on clothes together and help each other pick out outfits that she's more than happy to pay for, and sometimes that just means picking up small gifts for you while she’s out at the mall to give to you when she gets back to your dorm at the end of the day :>
Momo’s the one in your relationship who hardly ever cries, so she’s always there to pull you into her arms and comfort you whenever you find yourself getting especially emotional :’) And she never makes fun of you for how easy it is to make you cry, she understands that you’re just more sensitive and emotional and she just does everything she can to not make you sad, and to help comfort you when you do end up crying
Momo’s also really good about never really arguing with you as she doesn’t really see a point in “arguing”, even when you get frustrated with one another the discussion typically stays calm and she never raises her voice or does anything to make you anxious or uncomfortable. Of course, disagreements are going to happen, as she’s not the kind of person to hide how she’s feeling just to keep the peace or anything of that sort. But she expresses her thoughts to you clearly and diplomatically without getting mean or hurtful, and you two are almost always able to resolve your disagreements quickly and quite peacefully.
Momo can be quite timid in her daily life, but she’s gotten a lot better with her self-confidence and image since starting at UA, and she can easily stand up for herself or you if the time comes. She knows that’s something you struggle with, and she’s happy to be the brave one in your relationship as her confidence continues to grow if it helps you feel safe and comfortable with her.
Knowing that you enjoy reading makes Momo so so happy and it’s one of her faborite hobbies/ways to spend time with you. She’s happy to let you pick out a book and then she’ll read to you, the hand she's not using to hold the book running her fingers gently through your hair as her voice soothes you into a calm, relaxed state.
She also loves that you play the piano! Momo’s a big classical music lover, and she adores listening to you practice as she does her homework or even just watching you practice in general, amazed by your talent and the beautiful melodies you’re able to make. She’d love to learn to play herself some day, and if you’re willing to teach her then she’s more than happy to learn from you :>
Song For Your Relationship:
Momo’s honestly not the biggest fan of sports in general, but for you, she’s happy to get somewhat involved if it makes you happy. If you play on some kind of volleyball team then she totally goes to all of your games and cheers you on from the sidelines (and takes you out to dinner as her treat afterwards, whether your team wins or loses). Or if you only play casually or just need someone to practice with, then she’ll try her best to practice with you, even if she’s not the best and doesn’t totally understand how the game works lol

Bnha next gen ocs
Todoroki Shouto and Midoriya Izuku
Midoriya Yume: Flame Breath
D.O.B: June 15th
Yume is a very quiet and somewhat reserved girl much like her Dad Shouto. She very rarely ever raise her voice and doesn't make an effort to be involved with group activities if there too many people. Despite that she is known to have "big sister" engery as she unknowingly took up a leader role amongst her friends and classmates. She also has a very bad habit of pusing herself when it comes to hero work since her parents did the same thing when they were younger. Though they gotten better at it there are moments where they relapse I to bad habit which she picks up on.
Midoriya Rini: Dry Ice
D.O.B: October 31st
Rini is very upbeat and the most extroverted of all her siblings. Since she doesn't plan on going into herowork she has a very surface level idea of what it's like when she watches her older sister and parents. She thinks it's super cool that her Dad and Papa are the top heroes.
Midoriya Shinku: Unknown
D.O.B: July 9th
He's 6 months old so 🤣
Bakugou Katsuki and Kirishima Eijirou
Bakugou Sakurajima:Explosive Impact
D.O.B: February 14th
Sakurajima is much like her Father and has a very explosive personality and attitude when it comes to most things. She like Katsuki wants to be the best of the best and will do anything to go there no matter what. Luckily she internalized the good work ethics of her parents when it comes to train and what she wants to do as a pro in the future. She looks at them as a goal.post for what she was to do when she older.
Bakugou Katsuaki:Harden Sweat
 D.O.B:February 14th
Unlike his twin Katsuaki is more relaxed and has a more balanced outlook on hero work. He wants to be the hero people can depend on when things look bleak and hopeless, like a beacon od support. Though he some what nervous when it comes to his quirk since the first time it manifested it hurt his close friend Elijah really badly.
Kirishima Maya:Explosive Blood
D.O.B: August 20th
Maya has a lot of trauma to deal with being an adopted kid and not knowing what happened to her birth mother after she was born. Cause of that she tends to not act her guardians or siblings for things unless it's super severe, which is often. Despite that she a good that had a good head on her shoulder when it comes to what she wants to do in the future.
Yaoyorozu Momo and Jirou Kyouka
Yaoyorozu Jirou Tomomi:Manifest
D.O.B: September 11th
Tomomi is up there with Yume when it comes to his maturity and how he holds himself. His friends and others come to him the most when it comes to team building lessons and all around academics. But under that elegant and strong front he has very bad anxiety about being able to live up to his moms legacy. He's open about this to them but still has his moments
Uraraka Ochako and Niya Daley
Uraraka-Daley Noboru: Telegravity
D.O.B: May 3rd
Noboru is a mix of Uraraka determination and Niya strong mental focus which gives him a good head on his shoulders. Since both his mothers gives him and his siblings all the support and love they should have gotten(niya)he has a very healthy and manageable goal for what he was to achieve when he enters the big legends. Though that won't stop him from pushing himself to the limit whenever he can.
Uraraka-Daley Irie: Gyrokinetic Combat
 D.O.B: September 10th
Irie has dreams of being a director for movies woth storng female leads like her mamas. Being inspired by old movies directed by black women from the past and watching the raise of top female pros Irie will stop at nothing to achieve her dreams.
Uraraka-Daley Noni: Water Manipulation
D.O.B:September 10th
Like their twin Noni also doesn't want to go into hero work but to be a musician! Xe has been a huge fan of it ever since he was a baby since Niya listened to a lot of music during her pregnancy with the twins. Xe also very close to thei Auntie Jirou since she's a music head as well. Though they have very severe writer block when it comes to their music when they see their mamas push through their trails and tribulation they use it as fuel to write their music.
Shinsou Hitoshi and Kaminari Denki
Shinsou Yae: Nerve Shock
 D.O.B: May 14th
Yae is like their Dad Denki is that their very goofy and doesn't have the best control over their quirk. Since they got what a lot of people call the "perfect mix" and having grandpa's who are eraserhead and present mic theirs a lot of pressure on them to live up to this very glorious legacy. They also have times where they get very ashamed if they do some way out of line in front of their Daddy Shinsou. So how they interact with them is very different depending on how their feeling and their mood.
Shinsou Shinobu:Electric Truth
D.O.B: January 29tH
Shinobu wants to be a Olympic gymnast when she gets older. So she looks to her parents to show her the ropes of being at your peak but body wise and mental. She only ever gets serious about her training she a pretty relaxed happy girl otherwise.
Mirio Togata and Amajiki Tamaki
Mirio Mebae: Spouting
D.O.B: November 27th
Mebae a very confident and flirty girl much like Mirio is and takes great pride in that. She's one of the people anyone can depend on for her to lead a ear if their ever having problems. Her sister is very shy and introverted so don't act up when it comes to her.
Mirio Seikatsu: Faze
D.O.B: November 27th
Seikatsu is much like Tamaki in the fact fact she stays mostly to herself and has a very close knit group of friends amongst her classmates. Though when it comes to her powers she somewhat breaks out of her shell it's not often and she'll usually let her twin sister take the lead being more then happy to follow.
 Iida Tenya and Passion Mwzano
Iida-Mwzano Elijah: Storm Manipulation
D.O.B: March 21st
Often described as the "class clown" Elijah has often had people shocked to find out that the ever stern and what some would call uptight Iida Tenya is his father. But his more goofy and chill behavior comes his mother Passion, Elijah is also a very compassionate and smart kid being about to speak up to 3 languages.
Yuga Aoyama and Monoma Neito
Yuga Yuan:Light Solidification
D.O.B: May 22nd
Yuan while being very straightforward and unwaving has a bit of a inferiority complex. With being the child of a man who had a very severe one himself and s traitor she's always questioning her position within her class and hero society as a whole. This leads her to being a bit cold to her fellow classmates though her so called "rival" Yume is the one she's the most focus on getting the upper hand on. Even the if the girl herself doesn't notice it.
Ashido Mina and Ari Johnson
Ashido Viana: Acidic Mud
D.O.B: November 3rd
Viana is much like her mama Mina as she very outgoing, friendly and a dancer! Though she hates how people often underestimate her and her mama intelligence just because Mina wasn't the best student when she was in school. So she often has to always prove to some people that she's aware of what she doing and will make it in the big legends when she's older.
Tokoyami Fumikage and Shoji Mezo
Tokoyami Nori: Shadow Limbs
D.O.B: November 25th
So quiet many people assume Nori is mute, though she's not she just very selective of the people she wants to talk too. Her idea of what makes a good hero is if their willing to do the gritty work even if there's no audience for you doing so. Also plans on becoming an activist for mutant quirk havers much like her parents.
Ojiro Mashirao and Hagakure Tooru
Hagakure Hikari: Invisible Tail
D.O.B: May 30th
Kinda of cocky and very full of herself Hikari is nothing like her parents in the personality department. She very pride of her physical abilities and trained fighting skills she's gained over the years. She wants to be in the front lines of the next generation of heros.
Hanta Sero and Amelia Baker
Cici Hanta-Baker: Enhanced Strength
D.O.B: May 9th
Cici is dependable, funny and very relaxed being a good combination of both her parents. She looks a lot like her dad Sero especially when it comes to that wide grin of both of there's. The ranking of heroes don't really mean much to her as long as she gets to help those who are in need.
Hadou Nejire and Haya Yuyu
Haya Miko: Motion Lock
 D.O.B: December 7th
Miko is much more like her Ma Nejire though not as talkative and understand personal boundaries more(much to the joy of mama yuyu). She can cheer anyone up when their having a bad day or even try to make their day a bit easier if their not in the mood for it. She wants to do her mothers legacy proud so she's working extra hard to do so.
Todoroki Touya and Tamaki Keigo
Tamaki Tenshi: Flame Wings
D.O.B: February 2nd
Tenshi is very close off and doesn't have many people she can rely on outside of family. Because of a very traumatic situation that happened with her Dad Touya when she was 5 she been like that ever since. She and her Papa Keigo have a for the most part a good and stable relationship. Though she does wonder eat possessed him to have a kid with a well k own Villain. She's currently in the top 20 hero billboard and is very content with his ranking.
Todoroki Fuyumi and Usagiyama Rumi
Todoroki Miyuki: Fire Bunny
 D.O.B: February 28th
Opposite to her name Miyuki is very fiery and train to go on sight! Though she isn't as abrasive as Rumi she isn't like Fuyumi either she doesn't mind playing nice to get the job done but will get to work if that doesn't work. She's her older cousin Tenshi best friend and one of the few she has in general. She also acts big sister to her younger cousins and their friends as well.
Ororo Henderson
Taye Henderson: Fear Smoke
D.O.B: June 11th ✨
Taye has no interest in being a hero, but a comic book artist and writer instead. Taye has a very stoic and blunt nature like most of his family does(i.e uncle Shinsou, his mom, grandpa Aizawa). This gives him the advantage of being very level headed and always knowing which route is the best one to take. Though he could do more to get more involved in his emotional side as well.
Tetsutetsu and Itsuka Kendo
Kendo Mukago: Steel Hands
D.O.B: July 6th
Mukago is the so called "mom friend" of the group as he enjoys taking care of and helping others. Also being described as Yume right hand man when there's a need for group order he's a very determined and dependable guy. His parnets taught him that well.
Other next gen ocs:
Kawai Kuhaku: Personal Null
D.O.B: December 31st
Kuhaku is very shy and timid though it's not cause of his nature but because of how people treated him because of his quirk. He's was often seen as a glorified backpack and not much use otherwise making him feel as though he has to overwork himself to be seen as an equal. Though now amongst people who get it he's slowly but surely getting better at it though be has a way to go.
Miura Osoreru: Phobia Invasion
D.O.B:June 12th
Osoreru is being described to have a very "scary" vibe to her as a whole. Of she's not that familiar with someone who doesn't care for them she'll just stare till either they leave her alone or she chooses to walk away from the situation. But it could be like that cause lots of people find her quirk unsettling and it makes them uneasy. Despite that if she's likes you she'll have no problem getting to know you better.
