Okay, I know there are so many other good reasons to support immigration, but honestly, I'd just do it for the food. I live in a very diverse city and the things I can eat! I could have authentic restaurant food from a different culture every day of the week, I can buy all sorts of funky, delicious fruits at the grocery store, and our "international" section is a whole aisle now (both sides!) and there are so many yummy things! Foods that used to be foreign are spilling into the regular aisles.
Please come to my country. I want to eat your food.

You guys wanna hear about my depression "fried" rice? It's "fried" rice because it requires absolutely no fire to cook it and it's all done in one bowl.
Put cooked rice in bowl. Could be cold leftover rice in the fridge.
Put a spoon of sesame oil (ok to use veg oil if not) + spoon of soy sauce and mix with rice. put more soy sauce or salt to taste. Some white pepper (or black, doesn't matter) is nice as well.
Crack an egg in there and mix it. It will look sticky and kind of gross. But continue on
Put frozen veggies and frozen shrimp (cooked). Mix them around as well
Put the bowl in the microwave for 2-3 mins until the egg is cooked & shrimp is warm. It should be fluffy and not sticky at all when you mix it around.
Whoa! Fried rice
You can get "fancy" with it by putting garlic salt instead of regular salt, or just garlic and onion powder. Top it with scallions or sesame seeds. Or ketchup. Or whatever you want on ur fried rice.
Leftover mystery meat in the fridge? ✅️ just check that it doesn't have sauce on it or if it does, adjust the sodium level with soy sauce/salt
no meat? ✅️ veggie fried rice
Tofu? Idk. Maybe too watery? Haven't tried but I imagine if you press out the water OR scramble it with the eggs in the prep stage so it becomes like ground meat, it might work?
Frozen scallops? ✅️ Decadent. Why are you here though.
