More Leanor content developing her friends-to-enemies dynamic with Ezra !

Ezra and Leanor met in their teen years and stayed best friends for almost 15 years. They're the original founders of the 7th Division and used to fight side by side.

But Leanor started hating Ezra after a traumatizing catastrophe caused by his bad leadership. Now she only wishes for his death or his downfall and she got rid of every thing reminding her of him.

Except one.

This habit.

Smoking.

Ezra started smoking aged 14, thinking it would look cool and make him popular at school. He also had an easy access to cigarettes due to "dating" a 25-years-old creep.

Teenagers are easily influenced sometimes, so of course Leanor wanted to try too. And Ezra was happy to share without thinking of the consequences.

Now 23 years later, they both still smoke daily x')

And every time she does, Leanor thinks about his former best friend. About the good laughs they had when they almost choked because it tasted awful or when they sneaked out together so no adult would see them smoking.

It fills her with anger, resentment, sadness and confusion. Of course she tried to stop smoking (mainly for this reason) so many times, but she just can't.

Her biggest failure in life is that she'll always stay related to Ezra.

I keep thinking about how Sylvie tells Harry that she got so sick of hearing the stupid ABBA-esque song he played during his breakdown she ended up hating it, meanwhile Klassje (who lives RIGHT next to Harry) was the one to bring up the song to him in an amused sort of way to see if he would remember it.
