marjorie is such a byler song and it works well from both povs. like it's a song about losing someone, right? so like mike lost will when he went missing and when he moved away, and I think the song also expresses a sort of regret around the amount of effort put into the relationship, and wishing you'd done more before it was too late.

I think a lot of this applies to will, too. like he lost mike when he moved and when Mike started acting weird and distant in s3 and s4, and I think that he also has the same sort of regret and guilt that mike does (although will didn't really do anything wrong, other than not calling mike). I just. this makes me so sad but I think it really fits.
