THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!!!! GORGEOUS ART FOR A GORGEOUS STORY
The amazing @nae812 gifted me with another beautiful artwork for Can You Hear My Heartbeat and I want to share it with you (check out the other one here). It's for the beach scene in Chapter 18, in which Yuuri and Viktor make a trip through the countryside of Hasetsu during the summer of mutual pining:

He had read only two pages when his phone buzzed.
Frowning, he picked up it from the nightstand. His heart did a flip as he recognised the sender.
[This was a wonderful day. Thank you, Yuuri.]
Attached to the message were three pictures. Recognition set in the moment Yuuri opened them. The first was the one the stranger from the main island had taken of them and Makkachin at the waterfall. A second one Viktor had taken on the beach as they had lain on the blanket, again with Makkachin between them. A third showed Yuuri on Mount Tenzan, sitting with his legs angled, gazing into the distance with a thoughtful expression. Viktor must have shot it when he had photographed the panorama.
We look happy, Yuuri thought regarding the beach photo, while patting Makkachin absentmindedly. Even when we’re bickering.
Weirdly, Viktor had not sent the one where they were both looking to the camera, but the one he had shot when Yuuri had said something about poor illumination due to the waning daylight. He teased me about it, and I laughed.
I was right, Yuuri thought as he studied the muted colours. Despite the fading light, their eyes shone as if a sliver of the sun was burning in them as they gazed at each other. This is how he looks at me when he’s lovestruck. A pleasant chill ran through him, releasing an echo of that moment on the beach. He’s been looking at me like this all the time, but I needed a photo to notice.

Yuuri Katsuki is a sucker for PDA
Okay so I see a characterisation I totally disagree with incredibly often, and that’s the fact that Yuuri, being stereotypically Japanese, is uncomfortable with PDA. And whilst I agree that this headcanon is kind of cute and allows for some great extra!Viktor content, I think it’s fundamentally wrong.
Yes this is the official art that triggered this in my mind. Just look how comfortable Yuuri is here, whilst essentially being cuddled by Viktor out in the open.
Look at him literally launching himself into Viktor’s arms.
That one time Yuuri declared his love for Viktor on television
He literally initiated this on international television
And let us not forget this kiss which he had no problem with
Again, yanking Viktor in by the tie literally because he felt possessive
Literally smiling at Viktor as he does this
You can even see people react to the PDA in this scene
There is no way you could call Yuuri passive in this moment
Let us not forget Yuuri literally grinding on Viktor
And, sober, straddling Viktor in public
Honestly, there is no real canon evidence in my mind to suggest Yuuri is uncomfortable with displays of affection. He either lets Viktor do it whilst making no effort to stop him (even if he is shown to look slightly embarrassed), or is the one initiating PDA. I think it could even be argued that Yuuri does it more than Viktor.
If this is Yuuri now, just imagine what he could be like a year or two on. Even as far as actually kissing in public, I don’t think I could call OOC. I feel like it’s the act itself Yuuri might be shy about, rather than if people are watching or not. In fact, I believe possessiveness is entirely in his personality.
tl;dr Yuuri Katsuki is grossly affectionate in public and should probably learn some decency

Why Viktor kissing Yuuri’s skate is significiant
So I did this as an answer firstly but after I decided to make a post out of it:
Viktor kissing Yuuri’s skate and Yuuri being clearly comfortable with it can mean a lot of things of course.
In my opinion two main things are:
Firstly it shows that Viktor and Yuuri are comfortable with each other, and they know what they feel. There is usually at least two weeks between Rosetelecom and China cup so they had time to talk about the kiss and their relationship. They love each other and affectionate.
Secondly: They are in Russia. Russia was in uproar about Viktor leaving to coach “some” Japanese skater after a video. ANd now Living Figure Skating Legend Viktor Nikiforov KNEELS DOWN before said “some” Japanese kid and proceeds to kiss his skates in recognition and love that he feels for this man and his skating. IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE WORLD, ESP. THE RUSSIAN MEDIA :D <3 You gotta love Viktor after this :D
Of course there can be a lot of interception but I feel these two are the most important ones!

A shot, in which we see Yuuri running, viewed from the front. In the ekonte, we read "Yuuri notices". To show that on the screen, on the pink sheet of paper, the Director wrote "His eyes should be wide open, because of the anticipation he's feeling, please". Yuuri's facial expression changes in the moment, he sees Victor and Yuri. In addition, we have "looks like his hair got a little bit longer" to show the passage of time, as well as other detailed instructions concerning how the character should be depicted. It's a scene that takes place after the Grand Prix Final that we saw in episode 12. What has happened to Yuuri after that? What kind of future will they show to us? It would be absolutely wonderful, if you could see how Yuuri continues to mature as a figure skater, when you look at him from the front. Also, his shoulders look strong and the clothes that he wears are a bit oversize, so it's seems that Yuuri is training to give his body a better shape?

“He’s here!!! He’s here. So cute and handsome, Yuuri. I’ve waited so long…and he looks so soft, even cuter. OMG OMG what do I do now. ?!?! Wait, don’t panic…we’re Russian, we don’t panic.”
VIKTOR NIKIFOROV WAS A MAN ON A MISSION.
“Calm down, Vitya. This is your moment, remember Sochi.”
“That’s right, I've been waiting for this since then, to see again the boy who made me feel passion for the first time in a long time…Imma seduce Katsuki Yuuri.”
*Stops blushing, now focused. Oozing every ounce of confidence and attractiveness practiced for 20 years, he thinks of this as a choreography but this time to win Yuuri. And he ALWAYS delivers*
“OH IT WORKED, HES LOOKING AT ME. YES, VIKTOR FUCKING NIKIFOROV, HES YOURS NOW. SO CUTE WHEN BLUSHING. MINE MINE MINE”
*Blushing again, owning the most extra and flirty move he's pulled in his life*
Analysis of the important little detail of this scene: Viktor Nikiforov blushing as Yuuri Katsuki got in the hot springs.

so on the one hand, Yuuko's massive nosebleed in ep 3 is an obvious example of the anime trope in which nosebleeds indicate sexual attraction and/or arousal, and the comically large volume of blood is equally obviously an indication of the strength of that attraction, exaggerated for effect
on the other hand, there's no scientific basis for sexual arousal to relate to nosebleeds:
and I'm not sure how to estimate the volume of blood Yuuko is shown losing, but it's plenty enough that Yurio shouting for help (in the English dub) or asking Yuuko if she's sick (in the Japanese dub) is an entirely reasonable reaction:
and after all, Yuuri and Yuuko would both be well aware of this anime trope, and there's no reason to think Yurio would be; it makes sense that neither Yuuko nor Yuuri would be concerned, but the fact Yurio is, and he's making no effort to pretend otherwise—Yurio, who until now has made such a point of growling at Victor and hurting Yuuri in order to not look like he cares about either—
and a week later, when Yuuko sees Yurio in what must be a costume from one of Victor's first two seasons as a junior, age thirteen to fifteen to Yuuko's eleven to thirteen at the time:

fascinating characterization all around
...speaking of nosebleeds:
and I'll link to both these metas as soon as I find them again, which I'd appreciate assistance with since I'm blanking on who posted either:
one observed that Victor noticed Yuuri flubs his jumps when there's something on his mind, and that we don't hear Yuuri's thoughts for most of his free skate in ep 5, but we do see him screw up the last jump, and the final scene in the episode is Yuuri's love confession to Victor—which suggests Yuuri realized on the ice that he loves Victor, the mortal human he's been learning the past five months, even with all the ways Victor frustrated Yuuri earlier in ep 5
the other observed that Victor was wondering who Yuuri's defiance of his coach reminded Victor of, and he was surprised to realize it's himself, a thought he had only after Yuuri took his final pose—which suggests Victor was also surprised by Yuuri's final pose
connect those two dots and we get, Yuuri changed the final pose on impulse, same as he changed the final jump in ep 7 on impulse, because he realized on the ice he loves Victor
can't help but suspect, given the nosebleed and everything, that he's thinking of sexual as well as romantic love
