Hello! I was wondering if you woild do a Vance Hopper x male reader please. Something along the lines of fluff like hanging aroung the Grab n' Go/in school or hangin out together would be great. If not, totally understand. If u do do this request take your time and don't feel pressured to do it :) Thank you in advance if you decide to do this request

Male reader x Vance Hopper

Sorry for taking so long I got a bit distracted and now doing all of my requests :)

You met Vance at Grab n Go when you were playing the pinball machine and beat his high score

He burned his eyes through your head before you offered him to play next

He was honestly surprised to see your calm response and attempted to put a quarter in just to see you already pop one in

“On the house bud!”

You gave a wink and a charming smile

That was the first thing that made his heart skip a beat, he immediately turned his head to the game as he hyper-focused on winning just to not think about these feelings he doesn’t know how to deal with and refused to at this moment

You were impressed by how good he was and even encouraged him

“Holy shit! You are so good!”

“You’re great Vance!”

Vance was not prepared to receive praise from anybody no less from the boy who just winked at him and treated him like a person

So when you continued to praise him he gripped the machine 3 times stronger as he tried to focus on the game as he slightly felt your breath on his neck

Why did he have to have his hair up on today of all days? You couldn’t tell how his cheeks flushed slightly when you got a little closer to see the score once Vance lost he looked up at his score to see he beat your score

“Hell Yeah”

Wow you beat me!”

You almost jumped in place as you smiled

“Cool, it's my turn isn’t it?”

You stepped closer to the machine being closer than comfortable for Vance making him step away to let you play

After switching back and forth with the machine you two became close friends

After a while you became more than friends and more than having a friend with quarters to spare (you were this man’s wallet for a while)

Before you two would hang out near the pinball machine not even playing it but sitting on it and just talking and enjoying each others company

Usually grabbing a drink and play with the machine or sit on it and talk

Maybe grabbing a snack too if you guys felt like it

Sometimes Vance would just play as you feed him some of your snacks

You guys were comfortable with each other even before becoming more

You both confused to each other at the same time and made you both laugh and giggle for a while

You both accepted each others confessions and you snuck a quick kiss before you ran off

Vance quickly ran after you

Once you two were boyfriends it didn’t really differ from before, the only difference was that you two became even more comfortable with each other

Sometimes you sat on Vance’s lap or Vance sat in yours just melting in each others touch

Having sleepovers was a common occurrence and hangouts

Sharing gossip at school whispering and giggling to each other

You like braiding Vance’s hair once he’s done brushing his hair

Vance does not let anyone brush his hair, not even his mom

Vancve has one of those brushes with wooden bristles

Takes about 10ish minutes to brush it out

How Vance brushes his hair: Parts his hair in half them starts at the ends till he’s brushed it out a couple of times and adds conditioner

You find it relaxing watching Vance brush his hair and you are absolutely bashful when Vance lets you even touch his hair for the first time

The first time you did Vance’s hair you put it in pigtails

Vance then then threatened to never let you touch his hair till the day he dies if you do it again

Ÿou really hoped it was satire but you took it to heart

You then braided his hair and he thanked you

You grew out your hair so Vance could braid your hair too

Vance likes running his fingers through your hair

You like to bake and Vance is on standby not really knowing what to do

He still tries to help (with your instructions)

Brownies and cookies are your go to when baking

Vance adores your browning but he really likes your freshly baked bread

Vance has a sweet tooth but loves your fresh bread even if it doesn’t have sugar

Some times you bake at 3 am and you’re just sitting near the oven staring into the oven window while crouching and Vance walks in and just stares at your shadow for at least 15 minutes before joining you on the floor not saying a fucking thing

Even when you two were scarfing down the baked goods no words were spoken

Not even when returning to bed

Only after you two were settled in bed did Vance say something

“Why the fuck you up at 3:28 am making cookies?”

Vance said it so nonchalantly that you only responded when Vance nudged you

“Couldn’t sleep, plus impulsiveness”

Vance only thought for a moment before responding to you

“Reasonable”

That was his only answer as you both fell asleep in each others arms

At school you two almost always together talking and things of that nature

Vance even spends lunch with you since before he would always just leave school but he stays for you

There is a rumor that you two are dating but no one dares to confirm with THEE Pinball Vance Hopper

You don’t really care for the rumors and besides you don’t get shit for it since you’re “friends” with Vance

Some people just approach you just to ask about Vance, mostly girls about wanting to date him and boys trying to get on his good side

You hate that you have to constantly test people then then you found your people

In the classes you have together you always sit next to each other

Always talking to each other

You two actually get in trouble for talking so much

Got detention together but it wasn’t too bad

Rainy season is your favorite but even so, inconvenient

You always have an umbrella on you

You share your umbrella with Vance since he refuses to being one at all

Rainy walks with Vance always eases your mind

You two don’t even need a specific destination you guys just walk around town

Could I request a Vance Hopper x Male reader (boyfriends)? Plays a few months after Vance got kidnapped. The reader gets kidnapped too (and gives the grabber a really hard time because he doesn’t back down) and Vance ghost uses the chance to properly say goodbye to his boyfriend and helps him to get out of there. A lot of angst and heartbreak (the readers usually a tough guy too and doesn’t show much emotion but completely breaks down in the basement after Vance called him the first time) the grabber could show him the spot where he killed Vance to mock him idk make it hurt 💔💔💔I hope you have a great day and thank you!! <3

Sorry this took a while I took a lil break! But I really hope you enjoy this and that I wrote everything you asked for!

And I write this in a way so you won’t get much spoilers.

GHOST VANCE HOPPER X MALE READER.

Y/n was inside his room laying on the floor as the TV played. Y/n's eyes bore into the screen not noticing a muffled shout from downstairs. The TV screen played Y/n favorite show ever.

Sadly it was hard for Y/n to even pay attention to the show. Y/n kept glancing around his room looking at the pictures hanging around of his boyfriend.

Every time Y/n caught himself looking at the pictures he’ll whip his head around as his mind runs wild about his boyfriends disappearance.

“Vance… We we’re supposed to runaway with each other. Get out of this stupid town together.”

Y/n thought to himself knowing deep down inside that Vance would never leave him on purpose. Y/n knew it was a deeper meaning as to why his boyfriend disappeared. But sadly it’s been months and most people stopped caring for the missing teen. It wasn’t like many people was searching for Vance anyway.

The door swings open hitting the wall on impact.

“Y/n! Your mom has been calling your name for the past three minutes! Go down there before she starts getting on my ass!” Y/n’s step dad says staring at Y/n.

“There’s something wrong kid? All the sudden you can’t hear?” His step dad says with a mug on his face.

Y/n rolls his eyes and stands up from the floor walking up to his TV turning it off. “And good lord take your boyfriends pictures off the wall son he left you.” Once those words came out of his mouth Y/n shoved his stepdad out of his room before slamming the door shut.

“You brat!”

His stepfather calls out slamming his hand on the door before walking away.

After making sure his stepdad was completely away Y/n opens his door walking downstairs to see what his mother needs.

When Y/n made it to the bottom of the staircase his mom was already waiting for him.

“Glad to see your dad listens to me.”

“He’s not my dad… And I’m sorry for not hearing you earlier.” Y/n responds back crossing his arms as his mom rolls her eyes.

“I need you to go to the store. Get some groceries and then get you and your sister some snacks to eat. And after that go to the corner store and get me and your dad some cigarettes.” She says before grabbing Y/n’s arm using the pin in her other hand writing the list of groceries on him.

After she was done she gave Y/n the money and extra just in case.

Y/n grumbles complaints under his breath as he takes the money and go back up stairs to change.

After changing Y/n goes back downstairs and walk to the front door about to leave.

“And please Y/n, come straight home. No looking for Vance or clues for his disappearance. I know you miss him honey we both do. It’s just that he’s gone now Y/n. He ran away…” She says before giving Y/n a sympathetic look.

Y/n listens to her words before leaving shutting the door behind him.

Digging inside his pockets Y/n gets the Walkman out and puts on the headphones before putting it back inside his pockets.

TIMESKIP

Y/n was finally halfway to the store walking on the sidewalk as he blasted music through his headphones. Y/n eyes were glued to the floor as he walked not bothering to look up.

Suddenly tapped into Y/n's foot.

Stopping in his tracks Y/n looked to see what touched him. It was a can and a few other things behind it. Y/n looked up seeing a man in white face paint on the sidewalk trying to but clumsily picking up his things.

Usually Y/n would have just avoided helping. Like going to a different direction or just out right to ignore them completely. But this time Y/n couldn't just fake his way out of this.

Y/n crouched down picking up the items that were scattered around the sidewalk. The stranger puts the fallen nearby items inside his bag before walking up to the teen.

Y/n hands him the items while imagining how Vance would have picked light fun at him for helping calling him "soft."

"T-thank you so much! Please let me pay you back for your kindness." The stranger says grabbing the teen's arm forcefully trying to pull him to the van.

"Hey man get the hell off of me!" Y/n shouts as he yanks his arm back. The man lunges for Y/n wrapping his arms around him. Y/n tries to fight back by kicking and stomping on the man's foot and also by scratching his arms.

The man swung the teen around in his arms yanking him to the van.

Y/n swung his head straight back hitting the man with the back of his head causing his nose to bleed.

"You brat!" The man shouts as he uses one of his free hand to pry open Y/n's mouth before using his other one to spray something inside his mouth.

Y/n continues to fight and sway around until his own body gives up on him slowly becoming unconscious the man swings open the van door angrily tossing Y/n inside of it before slamming it shut.

TIMESKIP

Opening his eyes slowly Y/n raised his head from the dirty mattress he laid on. As he looked around the more his brain processed what just happened before he got unconscious.

The walls were dirty and rusty and so was the floor. The only thing that kept Y/n company was a black phone besides the mattress on the wall. Y/n sat all the way up leaning his back against the wall.

The only door insight began to unlock and twist open.

Y/n quickly stood up and clenched his fist. Sure Y/n didn't fight much, but all the times he did he won and thankfully his boyfriend was a fighter so he knew a thing or two about beating the hell out of someone.

With the door opening Y/n got into a fighting stance just as his boyfriend taught him.

A man stepped into the empty basement staring at Y/n menacingly.

"Step any closer to me i'll kick your ass." Y/n says not even trying to threatening him. The teen told the man as if he was stating a fact. The man only laughs and step a few feet closer.

"Kick my ass? How cute." The grabber teases.

"Trust me I've been doing this for a long~ time. You won't be the first kid I snatched who fought back." The grabber says before adding."hmm... You know you sounded just like a boy who I kidnapped a few months ago. That's right Vance Hopper."

Y/n's fist clenched tighter as his whole body went into a state of shock and pause. "Y-you what." Y/n says with his voice cracking slightly.

"Vance~ I remember the day I kidnapped him. When I was driving around in my van I saw you two hug and kiss outside of your house. Y'all two looked so inlove as you wished each other bye. Even after he left after walking you open he still had a dopey smile on his face." The grabber says as he smirked behind his mask.

When he thought he would get an outburst from the teen Y/n stayed silent and on guard not even flinching.

The grabber lets out a frustrated noise before turning away leaving slamming the door shut.

With the new information Y/n lets go of the breath he was holding as he laid back down on the mattress thinking. As he thought his eyes wondered around looking before landing on the telephone.

Getting up Y/n walked over to the telephone picking up the phone and dialing 9-1-1. Much to Y/n's guess it didn't work and Y/n put the phone back into its place before sitting back down on his mattress.

TIMESKIP

For the past few days it has been weird and scary for Y/n. For numerous times him and the grabber fought and argued. Y/n refused to eat and drink and even one point threw the tray of food at the grabber once he came to collect it.

And even one time Y/n had gained advantage on the grabber taking him to the floor, but sadly he sprayed the same thing that caused Y/n to be unconscious the first time in his mouth.

The teen even met the ghost of the Grabbers old victims. They taught and helped Y/n against the grabber. Giving the teen tips and how to avoid the same fate they met.

The grabber haven't checked on the kid all day, so Y/n was just in the basement looking at the open scars from the previous fight he and the grabber had.

*riiing* *riiiing*

Y/n head whipped around looking at the black phone that was shaking. The teen quickly got up and walked to the phone. Picking up the phone Y/n glanced to the door making sure the grabber wasn't there.

"Hello?" Y/n says into the phone.

It was silence for a while until...

"Y/n you still sound like a fucking dork."

That's what caused Y/n to freeze. From everything that Y/n went through for the past few days this is what shocked him the most. The voice that he loved and cried for months.

"V-Vance! Is that you?!" Y/n's own voice began to betray him as tears threatened to fall.

"Yes babe it's me!" Vance's voice rings out through the phone causing Y/n start to break down.

"Vance! I'm sorry! I'm sorry that I wasn't there. For months I used to believe that you ran away without me. I-I'm so sorry Vans." Y/n sobs out as he spilled out the nickname he used to call him.

"Babe, don't start crying. I don't like hearing you cry." Vance says as his own voice began to crack.

"I miss you so much...I-I *sniff* " Y/n couldn't even finish his own sentence as he cried leaning his body against the wall.

"I know... I miss you everyday. And I guess it's my fault that we couldn't run away with each other as we planned---"

"Don't say that. It's neither of our faults okay!" Y/n cuts him off as he tried to wipe away his tears.

The phone grows quiet.

Finally breaking the painful silence.

"Promise me Y/n that you'll kick this guy's ass. Do it for the other dumb asses here... Do it for me." Vance says softly.

"I promise. You have my word babe." Y/n voices crack out knowing that he'll have to hang up soon.

"You better god damn it! I'll be there with you okay!?!..."

The two grow silent once again.

“Don’t go…” Y/n breathes out to the phone clenching onto it tightly.

“I have to.”

“Don’t please…even if I— I survive I won’t be able to live without you Vance! You told me that we were soulmates!” Y/n begins to sob again.

“Goodbye Y/n…”

With those last few words the phone rings silently.

With tears blocking his vision he drops the phone letting it hang. Y/n began to cry and shout screaming and cry out for his boyfriend.

“So you do cry?”

Y/n’s head whips around looking at the man that stood by the door.

“After everything this what makes you break? You miss your pathetic boyfriend? Well your in luck because I feel a bit generous today.” The grabber teases before walking towards Y/n.

Once he was close enough Y/n tries to push him away, but the grabber was fast taking a fistful of Y/n’s hair yanking him to him.

The grabber pulls Y/n to the bathroom area.

“This is we’re he died.” The grabber says yanking Y/n’s head to the wall forcing him to look at the pool of dried blood on the walls.

“I took his head just how I am with yours and banged his head against the wall until he was bloody and limp.” The grabber says whispering into Y/n’s ear.

With the picture painted in his mind Y/n eyes started to water as the grabber went on and on about how he killed him.

TIMESKIP

Since his last call Y/n and the ghost began to communicate more and more.

Their calls became more helpful and strategic preparing for what’s about to come or really the day he’s supposed to be killed. Y/n had been staring at the door for the longest.

Y/n looked to the side of the room seeing all the ghost standing by the wall. Who really stuck out to Y/n was his boyfriend looking at him with so much guilt and confidence.

Vance’s eyes softened once him and Y/n met eyes. Y/n gave Vance a small smile before turning back around looking at the door again.

With the door slowly opening Y/n stands up from the bed.

Bracing himself Y/n gets ready to fight with everything he got. With the door opening Y/n’s eyes glare.

First a dog steps inside the room with a steel chain wrapped around his neck. The grabber walks inside behind the dog with a smirk.

“You really are just like your boyfriend. Never backing down from a fight.” The grabber taunts as the dog bark and growl.

“Keep his name out of your fucking mouth.” Y/n says with a straight face showing no emotion.

The grabber ties the chain around a pipe as he takes a knife from his back pocket.

“Too much of a little girl to fight me with your fist.” Y/n says as he’s the one who’s taunting now.

Out of nowhere the grabber strikes pouncing in front of Y/n before swaying the knife to Y/n’s arm. Y/n dodges just in time right before the grabber tries to stab him again.

As the grabber misses a swing Y/n winds up his own arm before giving him a quick hook to the cheek.

The grabber reacts fast using the closeness to his advantage giving Y/n a quick slice to the arm.

As the two fought the ghost watch in different parts of the room. Watching intensely.

Soon enough The grabber begins to play dirty by tackling Y/n onto the hard cold dirty floor. Raising the knife above his head The grabber swings his arm down directly at Y/n’s face.

With luck Y/n swiftly moves his head out of the way making the knife dig into the floor. As the Grabber tries to pull it back Y/n punches the man straight in the stomach causing the Grabber to hunch over and gasp.

Y/n pushes the grabber off of him before quickly climbing on top.

Similar to how Vance got arrested Y/n started to punch the living shit out of the grabber. The grabbers face quickly became bloody.

Once the man under the teen became weak Y/n stood up walking to the knife that was stabbed into the floor he pulled it out before walking back to him.

“You killed those innocent boys… More importantly you killed my boyfriend.” Y/n says as he crawled onto him.

Sitting in his stomach Y/n wrapped both hands around the knife handle bringing the knife above his head he angled the knife above his heart.

Without any more words Y/n plunged the knife deep inside the man’s chest. Y/n drive the knife deep before pulling it out and back inside stabbing him repeatedly.

“You killed my boyfriend you fucking asshole!” Y/n shouted as he stabbed him again and again.

Finally calming down Y/n dropped the knife before getting up and looked around.

With all the ghost staring at him Y/n knew what they wanted to do. Y/n ran up the stares leaving the basement before running to the front door that was surprisingly unlocked.

The only thing Y/n could do now was shut and find someone.

Sprinting out of the yard Y/n ran with all his might. What Y/n didn’t notice that his boyfriend was in the middle of the street watching him run away watching Y/n with a proud expression.

“Good job babe…”

💢 You must be a very special and very unlucky person to have these two sociopaths "in love" with you.

💢 You can forget about your social life, since because of Vance's overprotectiveness and Henry's possessiveness, they won't let anyone be close to you, not even your family.

💢 As you can imagine, these two are not at all willing to share you, so you can expect Henry and Vance to fight over you every day, with Henry starting most of the fights since Vance only fights if provoked.

💢 Henry likes to push Vance when he is about to beat the pinball record so that he loses, the last time Henry did this, Grab N'Go ended up completely destroyed.

💢 As much as Vance and Henry hate each other, if they see someone paying too much attention to you, they will join forces and send this MF to hell, but then they become mortal enemies again.

💢 Being in the middle of Vance and Henry's fights can be very annoying and irritating, because they will scream insults at each other while you are in the middle trying to hold your hands over your ear trying to muffle their screams, sometimes they literally have a tug of war with YOU!, but sometimes you can take advantage of their fights to escape.

💢 I imagine you being on a (forced) date with one of them, only for the other to take you (forcibly too) out of that date, just imagine that you and Henry on a date, in the beginning Henry is paying full attention to you, but he you end up getting distracted for a few seconds and when he looks back at you, you've disappeared without a trace, while Henry is confused and pissed as hell and wondering where the hell you are, Vance is holding on tightly (but not to the point of hurting) you hand and taking you to Grab'N Go so you can watch him play pinball.

💢 You can be sure that at some point the two of them would no longer be able to stand each other, and they would literally start a war, and the last one standing would be with you, one of them would die or both of them would kill each other, one or the other, (maybe just Maybe you can stop these two from killing each other).

The scent of pizza filled your nose as you stepped through the door, a little bell ringing above you. Your thumb rubbed against Vance's hand as he let you pick out a table, and following behind you once done. He, of course, sat across from you, he flaunted a casual demeanor while doing so, but you knew his heart was beating quickly just from seeing your eyes, his flushed cheeks gave it away.

Vance had planned this date the day before, toying at the idea & confirming it with you. He'd been pocketing change from the fights he won, and was putting it towards a date with you, wanting to take you out for lunch, something to calm your nerves he'd taken notice to. His mind knew you were stressed about school, you were overwhelmed with the work you were receiving. The stress leaked into your personal life, and he wanted to make your day a little better, and this is where it took you. Seated in your local pizza parlor, Vance rambling about what he might get, as you happily listened, hands perched under your chin to get the best view.

"Maybe we should get a large pizza, your pick, along with a soda we could split? You like coke, right?"

His voice came out quickly, but to you it was the perfect pace.

"Sure babe, that sounds great. I'm gonna head to the guys room quickly, but I'll be back in time soon,"

You leaned in forward, and pecked his forehead, the golden hair laid on it was soft on your skin. You saw his radiant smile as he nodded enthusiastically, leaning back in his seat, spreading out to relax. The last time you two had been on a date was weeks ago, you took him out to the arcade, a treat for defending you in an argument with the teachers. There, he admired you as you watched him play, concentrating on his pinball, monitoring so somebody wouldn't fuck it up for him, and he couldn't love you anymore than he did in that moment. Spending time with his boyfriend was something he couldn't get enough, he cherished it, you were all his, and you endorsed it.

Walking from the main area to the mens room was a short walk, but took a sharp right, a narrow hallway that included the mens & womens room. Infront of the womens room was a girl your age, leaning against the wall with a pocket game in hand. Hearing your heavy footsteps, she diverted her gaze from the game to you, and her body immediately perked up, heading towards you.

"Hey cutie! Over here!"

Her voice was high pitched, irritating your ears, and squinting your eyes. You knew Vance had been planning this, so you didn't want some idiot to ruin this for you, just trying to have a nice time with him. Pushing through her, you went to the bathroom, shutting the door behind you, the lock gliding into place. You could hear her footsteps catch up, waiting outside the door for you, stalking outside the door, waiting.

Hastily washing your hands, you prepared yourself, putting your stress towards something useful. The metal handle was cold under your fingers as you tugged open, and who else but her meet you as soon as it opened.

"Hey, just the person I wanted to see!"

Her fingers trailed their way to your chest, but you pushed her away, breathing out a heavy sigh while you made your way back, however, she was persistent. Even as you walked, heading around the corner, and Vance now in sight, she tried to pick up your hand, or walk infront of your steps.

"Listen babe, I'm trying to give you a compliment, I'm sure your girlfriend won't mind."

Eyeing Vance, you raised your eyebrows, rolling your eyes before you made it to his side. What you expected was a glare sent her way, but Vance's hands snaked their way around your waist, pulling you side ways onto his lap, your legs dangling off the edge as you instinctually put your hands around his neck. One of his hands stayed loyal at your waist, supporting your weight, while the other lay on the back of the booth, showing confidence all around.

"The fuck do you want, huh?"

Your boyfriends voice was sharp, and came out almost like a bark back, showing the girl what the situation was.

"I just wanted to say hi to your little friend here bud, we were just having fun!"

You could feel his hands tighten around you, growing angrier the more she pushed. His chest began to move up and down with more force, and his face hardened. Vance wasn't fond of sharing much in his life, and you were no exception.

"If you don't fucking leave with your weird stalker shit, I'm going to make it so that the hospital can't identify who you even are, Bitch."

While spoken in a hushed tone, careful of making a scene, that didn't make his point any less clear, eyes stabbing into her like knives. The girl stayed standing, a look of shock overcame her, but eventually, after a fake step towards her, she left, exiting the parlor.

Vance watched her like a guard-dog as she left, leaving the taint of shame in the building, but it never affected him, the pride of being your saving grace was sweeter than anything, and as Vance's eyes met yours, the sweet, caring boy came back. He put his unoccupied hand to your cheek, grazing it softly, then raised his eyes at you.

"Ready to order, handsome?"

After the grabber incident, Vance had plenty of opportunities to skip town, run away and couch surf until he was far from Colorado.

It’s not as though his dad would have cared to report his absence, he didn’t the first time. Why would he now?

But even as he grew up and 18 turned to 21, he stayed in the shitty town of Galesburg.

Why? He couldn’t tell you even if you held a gun to his head. Maybe it was the steadiness of his job at the auto parts shop, or maybe the fear of change in his steadily dull existence. When everyone else he knew had moved on, Vance’s life had stayed relatively the same.

That’s why when he saw you on that Saturday in 1984, standing in the Grab ‘N Go and planted at the pinball machine that had been dubbed ‘his’ for the last eight years…it knocked him for a loop.

There you stood, absolutely obliterating his high score with ease. A cigarette hung from your lips as Judas Priest blasted from the headphones that rested around your neck and bunched up the long hair that lie down your back.

You were everything that everyone else in this town wasn’t and it sure as hell commanded respect. Surprisingly, even from the infamous ‘Pinball Vance’.

Though Vance was usually bold, it took him the rest of the week to confront you.

He did so as carefully as he could manage which was a sharp contrast to his usual loud mouthed approach to things.

“Anthrax, huh? Pretty sick.” He smirked, sliding up alongside you as your quick hands worked the buttons of the game.

The two of you got on quick with Vance lighting your cigarettes and buying you beers every weekend that you met up at the Grab N Go.

As you grew closer, the time you spent together grew as well.

You go to a lot of small, local shows together as well as a few larger ones in Boulder.

He can’t get enough of being around you. You just get each other.

So, you’re inseparable and soon enough, you’d moved in.

But ask him to be your boyfriend!! He can’t fuckin bring himself to ask you!!

Matching vests!! It’s cheesy, but adorning them with patches together is fun.

Late nights together consist of wrestling on the floor until the other taps out and loud music that always keeps the tenants of the neighboring apartments awake.

On a softer note, you’re the first person he’s ever felt the desire to snuggle up to.

Vance x male reader where Vance first interaction is when reader left a single blue bell flower when he had an argument with his parents and then it became a daily routine where a flower would be on his windowsill until he caught reader in the act which just was a thank you from Vance and then they became close. Reader takes care of a flower garden and invites Vance to hang out with him where they talk and Vance helps out watering and planting saplings, and when some boys tried to make a mess of the garden Vance immediately started to fight them as reader was trying to pry him off of them. I imagine them having green tea on a cold winter day while walking down the street in fluffy jackets

Everyone was aware of the notorious 'Pinball' Vance Hopper, who made his name by brutally beating a number of people just for being close to his pinball machine at the Grab N' Go, where he spent the majority of his time.

But nobody was aware of his family's circumstances, his relationship with his parents, or the extraordinary number of fights they had. Furthermore, Vance's parents got upset upon finding out their son had beaten up yet another person.

The constant arguments between him and his parents, which occurred almost every day, were just too much for the blonde. The teenage boy was thus startled when he entered his room one day to find a bouquet of bluebells and a note neatly arranged on top of his bed, with his windowsill wide open.

The boy slowly made his way to his bed and picked up the note, which read, "Something to make you feel a little bit better today :)" Uncertain of how he should feel, Vance reluctantly picked up the bouquet, sat down on his bed, and silently regarded the flowers.

The following few weeks continued in this pattern, with Vance arriving home later than usual, fighting with his parents once more, and then entering his room to find a fresh bouquet of bluebells and a note on his bed.

Vance soon developed a keen interest in the person who kept giving him bouquets of flowers, because whoever it was must’ve known about his reputation and the name he had given himself, and he had several questions about why they would do so.

How they even managed to open his window after he locked it, why they left a bouquet of bluebells on his bed, and why they wrote such kind notes to him.

Vance was looking for clarification, and he's going to make sure he gets them.

The following morning, Vance made the decision to stay in, leaving his house to fool his parents into thinking he was going to school, only to return once he realized they had left.

In an effort to catch the person who had left him the flowers in the act, he made the decision to wait outside the door to his bedroom while listening for any noise that would indicate someone opening his window.

With no sign of anyone entering, the minutes quickly turned into hours. Standing from the floor and heading to the kitchen to get a glass of water, Vance heaved a long sigh.

Vance was about to start drinking when he heard a loud thud coming from his room. Out of instinct, he dropped the glass on the kitchen island and ran to his room, where he opened the door to find someone he never would have suspected of being the flower culprit.

"[LastName]? So you were the one who kept leaving those damn flowers these past few weeks?"

Before clearing his throat, [Name] remained silent and appeared to still be in shock from being caught. He glanced away from the blonde in embarrassment.

"Uhm..I noticed you looked a lot more..grumpier than usual. So I just thought, well, y'know..I thought maybe if I left you these flowers, you'd feel a bit better.."

[Name] muttered softly under his breath, but Vance undoubtedly caught what he said, and he couldn't help but feel his heart flutter as it always did when he was near the [h/c].

[Name] [LastName], the only person who has ever approached him normally, the only person who never appeared to be scared of him, and the only person that 'Pinball' Vance Hopper wanted to spend his time with.

So the realization that [Name] was the person who left those flowers on Vance's bed almost every day caused his heart to race, and for once, Vance found the sensation to be quite pleasant.

"Oh..well, you could’ve just given them to me in person, you didn't have to act so fucking anonymous. If it were someone else, I would’ve beaten the shit out of them y'know."

Vance spoke while rubbing his nape in an attempt to conceal his flushed face from [Name], who could only stifle a laugh.

"Well, I'm glad you wouldn’t actually beat me up. But uh..did they make you feel a little better..?"

[Name] inquired, hoping that perhaps a small part of Vance was pleased to have received the bluebell bouquet. Vance let out a soft whisper, and [Name] couldn't help but wonder what the blonde had said.

"I'm sorry, what was that?" [Name] asked, hoping that the blonde wouldn't just give him a grunt as always, but would actually repeat his response to him.

"Tch, I said fucking yeah..dumbass." Vance muttered in a stern tone while glaring at the [h/c], but [Name] was aware that it wasn't a bad thing. The [h/c] was delighted to learn that Vance had liked the flowers he had given him over the previous few weeks.

"Well..I'll see you around then? I've already finished what I needed to do, so I'll get going now."

[Name] said, approaching the window as he started to climb outside, waving goodbye to the blonde who was only observing as the boy left, heaving a deep sigh to quiet his racing heart, and then shutting his window.

"Fucking dumbass.." Vance muttered under his breath as he sat on his bed and looked down at the bouquet of bluebells next to him, wearing a small smile on his face.

The two started to hang out more frequently after that, and [Name] eventually invited Vance over to help him with the backyard garden.

[Name] spent time teaching Vance about various flower meanings, and Vance assisted in planting and caring for the flowers. The two enjoyed their time together very much.

Vance was on his way to [Name]'s house when he heard a loud cry and some boys laughing in the [LastName] family's backyard. He immediately ran to the source of the sound.

"Stop that! Get the hell off me!" The voice of [Name] screamed out as he struggled to free himself from one of the boys' grip on him and prevent the other two from destroying the garden.

The boy who was holding onto [Name] was quickly approached by Vance, who then punched him in the face while the other two boys were caught off guard and abruptly stopped what they were doing.

"Shit! It's Vance Hopper!" One of the two boys muttered as they witnessed Vance punch the boy repeatedly and without mercy even as blood spurted from his nose.

"Vance, stop! You'll get yourself into more trouble if you keep hurting him!"

[Name] shouted, attempting to free Vance from the boy he had just assaulted. With a scoff, Vance stopped and let the [h/c] pull him away from the now-unconscious teen, staring down at the two other boys who tensed at the harsh glare.

"If you even think of coming back here again, I'll beat your ass way fucking worse than what he got."

Both boys quickly nodded in response to Vance's warning, grabbed their friend, and ran out of the backyard. Vance and [Name] were left alone in the now-messy garden.

With a heavy sigh, [Name] grabbed Vance's wrist and dragged him inside his house so he could treat his bloody and bruised knuckles. "You go ahead and take a seat, I'll just go and get the aid kit."

Vance settled down on the couch without any complaints and patiently awaited [Name]'s return with the first aid kit.

"Hands out," Back in the living room, [Name] gave the command as he took a seat next to Vance, who immediately complied. [Name] had a wet cloth in his hand, and started wiping the blood off the blonde's knuckles. Vance hissed from the stinging sensation.

"You know you didn't have to do that, right?"

[Name] spoke, his eyes fixed on Vance's bloody knuckles as he took an antibiotic cream out of the first aid kit and started to apply it to the wound, Vance only stared at [Name].

"Did you really expect me to just stand there and watch as those fuckers ruin all of your hard work? Yeah, I don't fucking think so."

Vance responded, his eyes slowly lowering to [Name]'s hands as they started to delicately bandage his knuckles. [Name]'s lips started to flutter into a gentle smile.

"Well, that should do it." [Name] finished bandaging the wound, beaming up at his accomplishment as Vance smirked.

"Yeah, thanks." Vance murmured, lying back on the couch as he closed his eyes. He had not noticed [Name]'s longing gaze on him who decided to lay back next to him as well.

The two were practically glued to each other on the couch as [Name] linked his arm with Vance's, his hand holding his, and his head lying on Vance's shoulder.
