No, I was talking about Annabeth. It's obviously not something RR intended, it's just a result of how fucking terrible he is at writing flirty banter (he just crosses the line into verbal abuse) and that he clearly thinks it's SO FUNNY when girls are violent against boys.

Now, I'm not gonna pretend like all of my ships are perfect. I'm very familiar with the concept of recognising flaws in a ship and just deciding to like it anyway. I'm not gonna judge anyone for doing that with p/ercabeth. What baffles me is the widespread unawareness of those flaws. And what horrifies me is how often I see Annabeth's abusive tendencies actually encouraged by her stans and seen as something Percy deserves. Or just generally turned into a joke.

In my headcanon, the reformatting surgery was something that Blitzwing (plus Octane and Astrotrain, “borrowed” from others’ headcanons) volunteered for. He said yes because then he would be more useful to the Decepticons and, more specifically, Megatron. And sure it’s unhealthy but also it’s The Decepticons, very little of them have healthy relationships.

It’s also partially the power dynamic. You’ve got this ancient warmonger and his pet living weapon and I just. Megatron watching as Blitzwing tears into another mech on the battlefield until he’s told to stop by Megatron himself. Blitzwing holding back on attacking a disloyal Decepticon cough cough Starscream because he wants to be perfect for his leader.

And then, maybe, in the bedroom, he can be that perfect Decepticon, just in a different way. He lives to serve his Lord any way he is ordered.

Anyways it’s not very healthy at first because one side is almost obsessive and the other doesn’t take it seriously because Megatron’s a little busy trying to win a war. It gets better as time goes on because damnit I want my boy to be happy.

I actually started shipping Megablitz when I thought about some things regarding the AllSpark shattering at the end of S1 and it’s destruction awakening long-dormant lines of code and activating the good ol’ nanite production and gestation tanks in every Cybertronian that has them. And, of course, the heat/rut cycles because mechanical beings acting animalistic is my JAM. I can spread that shit on toast and eat it all day.

So yeah no it can start out a couple different ways. Situation 1: It’s known among a lot of older mecha that Cybertronians used to reproduce sexually before the AllSpark became Cybertron’s primary source of life. Situation 2: The nanites and gestation tanks are actually a backup system in case the AllSpark failed for whatever reason. Either way, everyone gets really horny, so they all start to go at it. And interfacing is done recreationally because hey it feels good and has little long-term consequences and whoops that’s a sparklet. That is many sparklets. Everywhere. What do we do with all these tiny blobs that just came out of like half the population?

(I’ve actually got a Megablitz kid in the works; his name is Ripwire.)

So yeah no basically it boils down to “I want to give my all to you” x “I didn’t think you were actually serious about this and whoops I caught feelings for you” plus also some AllSpark shenanigans

Leviathan: Tries to cover his face with his bangs more. Not from the embarrassment you might have caused, but because of the whimpering pathetic meat sack that is now cowering underneath you. At the same time is trying to cover the rager hidden in his pants as he drags you away from the poor soul that tried to disrespect either of you.

Satan: Ignored the situation entirely and continued walking. Only noticed when you came back from behind him and linked your arm around his. A smug look on his face because he didn't doubt you for a second. Also finds it amusing you wasted time defending him.

Asmodeus: Watches with eyes peeking through fingers at first. As a "sheepishly shy" facade. The toothy grin behind his hand says otherwise. Enjoys every minute of watching you degrade some low life. Kicks them in the shin once you are done and runs after you excitedly.

Beelzebub: Is highly uncomfortable at first. Realizes what is happening after the initial confrontation. Picks you up and carries you away so you don't injure yourself.

Belphegor: High key amused AF. Watches the entire time. Major rager, is not ashamed. Drags you home.

Please tell me about your oc Singularity! I have a lotta questions but I figured it would be best to just ask for general deets, if that's cool.

Of course! As a little context, Mutants and Masterminds is a system based around superhero comics. In the server I play her in, Singularity is a self-proclaimed hero.

Singularity has the powers of gravity manipulation, which she most often uses as utility and as a support role to other heroes, but it also has it's offensive uses. Mostly though, her fighting style consists of punching people. This is helped by the fact that as a civilian she works as a waitress in a little place called the Baffle Haus. Three guesses where that name came from.

Singularity's hero suit and colour scheme are largely based on black holes, specifically the one photographed by Nasa a few years back. She has a Kawasaki motorcycle of a matching colour.

Mostly Singularity just wants to be cool and liked, leading to her sometimes trying too hard and coming off as cheesy. It's all in good fun though and the heroes she's worked with so far seem to like her and appreciate her contributions.

I love how you draw Grim the size of a small cat. It genuinely blows my mind that according to the game he's actually approximately 70 cm tall... Like, Ortho is 148 cm. That's only two Grims! If Grim stands on Ortho's head, they'd be just a bit taller than Malleus (who is 202 cm and I'm not sure that's counting the horns)! The proportions are just so wild to try to imagine realistically... (and I do like the small cat Grim take more, it's very endearing)

every time I remember Grim is actually supposed to be the size of, like, a medium-to-largeish dog, and then I just...draw him cat-sized anyway. I also think it's cuter that way! 🤷 (let's just say he's not allowed to ride the servant unless he takes the shrinking potion first.)

percabeth reminds me of that running gag in anime where pretty girls, usually the love interest beats up/abuses the male protagonist. It's probably why I don't like the ship. The running gag is both insulting to abused male victims and women at the same time. Because the joke is the idea of a girl, especially one pretty and tiny being able to beat up a male is laughable. And males being abused are laughable because males can't get abused. 🙄 So when I see ships like that I hate it. Especially when its popular because the story would be so different if the genders were reversed.

I just reread all of Disposable Heroes because it is just so good and I’m in love with it. I really hope Joyce and Hopper get the riot act read to them as well! They just saw awkwardness going down with Steve at the center and told him that they don’t trust him at all. Despite all he’s done for their kids, Joyce doesn’t believe he could be gracious about Eddie’s crush or about Eddie being gay in general, and Hopper just tells him to fix his shit when they don’t have the full story. Especially with Joyce pulling out the “I love you” card right before telling Steve that she still expects him to act like he did three years prior. Robin should get to yell at them and tell them to leave Steve alone if that’s what they really think of him

Thank you so much!! Don't worry, I'm definitely planning on them facing some repercussions for how they treated Steve after the main story is done. I wanted to add the part between Joyce and Steve bc I feel like they don't get a lot of time together (both canon and fanon) so I wanted to give em a lil spotlight. In my opinion, Joyce doesn't know about Nancy/Jonathan's lil get together via Murray and what that meant for Steve and has just assumed that Nancy left Steve for something he did. Joyce wants to be nice to Steve bc he's been there for the kids but she still distrusts him bc of the conclusions she jumped to about his character (even tho those assumptions were true once upon a time, that doesn't mean they're necessarily true now). The same goes for Hopper bc he knows kids can be stupid and he remembers all the times he would go to Hawkins High because some kid got beat up too much by some rich pretty boys who lived off daddy's money and assumed that people like that couldn't (and wouldn't) change. Also he's an extremely awkward person when it comes to emotions/emotional confrontations so he would absolutely just avoid talking about anything meaningful whatsoever and instead give a vague reprimand like he does to Steve. Joyce is naturally motherly, and I added a bit of angst with the "I love you" scene bc I feel like Steve's parents have never said that and meant it before. Having Steve hear it from a motherly figure like Joyce while also knowing she distrusts him and his intentions is just- ugh it's good angst. I'm definitely planning on getting them back pretty good and letting them learn they cannot judge a person just because of what they did in their past. As always, thank you for the ask!!

i do like your idea of it, i addore adore the "living weapon" (its ups and its downs) trope, will always be a winner for me, and Blitzwing being so willing to give Megatron everything and everything up in this one-sided dynamic is my cup of tea! I also think Blitzwing agreeing to the triple-changer procedure for Megatron is cool but honestly that bit drives me nuts for lore reasons I like to tamper with.

As for your little Blitztron annon here, if I'm being more comedic it's "hey starscream's not here because hes a little traitorous shit and between Blitzwing and Lugnut Blitzwing's the closest to Starscream so...."

However, I'm not really a nice person. I like it horrible.

I've read a couple fan works that portray Blitzwing as desperate for connection. By virtue of his unstable processor and aberrant frame, not a lot of bots are willing to be close to him. My take is a bit like yours, with Blitzwing being rather obsessive, but skewing Megatron to be a bit more active. I enjoy the idea of Megatron being cunning and manipulative, I entertain the notion of the warlord bending his weapon in his servos.

Reformatted into a triple-changer to gain favor of the Lord, subsequently treated as a freak by everyone else. Megatron's smart; he keeps his inner circle full of the useful and the loyal. Blitzwing's the only triple-changer, and Megatron's the only one who doesn't treat him like something to be feared. Because it's Blitzwing who fears Megatron. It's Megatron's digits coiled around the cord. But the only one to look at him beyond the freak he believes he is is Megatron. The only one to give him a little of the care he so desperately lacks. He's loyal because there is no one else. Megatron knows this. It might have just been just lucky coincidence, but who's going to tell?

Maybe I'll have it end sweet if I ever write something for it. Maybe Megatron decides he actually likes his weapon for more than his brute strength. Maybe Blitzwing works through his own issues and finds more stability in his unstable self. Maybe not. We'll just have to see.

(Also, I love the idea of a Megablitz fan kiddo! I can't wait to see them!)

It’s about the isolation and finding connection only with the one you changed yourself for and Megatron would absolutely abuse this power he has but. Grabs him by the throat. He will love. He will realize that he wants a better future for the next generation of Cybertron, not just him and his mecha. He will fight for the power to give that future, instead of just to dominate.

(Insert joke about dominating Blitzwing in private because you know that mech is a bottom)

I have a vague idea of what Ripwire would look like. You know how Windblade has those turbines built into her wings? Ripwire has the same wings because that’s how I imagine a helicopter and a jet would mix. Baby’s also got some tank treads, but they act more like extra armor than functional treads since his parents are naturally flier-frames. I imagine him being more grey with purple as his secondary and that tan/beige color being simple accents. And also pointy as all hell, have you seen his parents before they scanned their Earth alts?
