Hello!! Hope you all had a fantastic day. I got to see some of my family for the first time in half a year, and it was so good to catch up with my cousin! I missed her. It felt so good to be able to have a quality conversation and be open with someone who cares about everything that’s been going on in my life. Tomorrow, we’re driving to go to breakfast and then go shopping. It’ll be so fun to just blast music with the windows down and scream lyrics and forget about our respective problems. I took the above picture on our walk tonight. A long walk through the arts district of Phoenix while listening to Lorde was exactly what I needed.

I had a relaxed school week as I was on fall break. I’m not really looking forward to getting back of the swing of things on Monday, but I’m planning on going to a café that afternoon. Usually, leaving the house motivates me.

I’m still loving The Secret History! It draws you in from the beginning and is full of beautiful and vivid descriptions. What fascinates me is it isn’t action-packed build-to-climax (i.e., no one is fighting each other, no one is sick, no one is even dramatically in love); the main characters often just sit around talking about Greek and getting drunk. I think this is precisely what draws readers in. Something unbelievable and frankly disturbing will happen and it’s brewing under a perfectly calm atmosphere.

Exams are really close now... and I have a debate on Tuesday... let’s hope it goes well.

I’m terrified of speaking in public. Specially when I can’t walk around the stage. People used to say that I was good at expositions... but with online school I’m not that good anymore.

Heart sounds this time!

One of the things I like most about digital notes, is how easy it is to make nice diagrams.

ZOOMESTER STUDYBLR CHALLENGE

Day 10- Tag someone whose aesthetic you love seeing on your feed.

@caeruleuz I love those black and white pictures!! I feel immediately inspired.

Day 11- What’s something that you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t got the chance to do so?

Travel!! There are so many places I want to see. I didn’t have a passport at first, I got it and the pandemic happened. I really want to use it... there are so many countries, so many traditions, food and people that I want to get to know!

Day 12- Are you more into plant or flowers? What’s your fave type?

I love both!

Flowers outside and plants inside... most flowers need sun and fresh air.

Ivys are my favorite I think... I have one hanging in my room, right next to the door.
