A cat friendly layout in memory of my 20-year-old childhood cat Sasha who passed away this weekend. I've been taking care of her hand and foot for the past few weeks, more so during the past week hence why I wasn't very active. :)

17. Tuesday, Sept. 15th: What is your study playlist?

- depends on my mood, but usually it’s between calming acoustics and kpop

18. Wednesday, Sept. 16th: Study Schedule!

- i actually don’t have one as I have two classes and not very much studying is needed. Mostly, I just prepare for class an hour or so before it and do the projects casually.

19. Thursday, Sept. 17th: How do you organize your to-do’s?

- i lay out my planner and then usually list homework due that week first than those due next week. I don’t tend to list my chores on my planner, but if I do its major cases. i also like to list my activities i my to-do list like if I have to go to the store or I’m seeing a friend!

20. Friday, Sept. 18th: Do you read motivational books?

- not really. I’m more into philosophical fiction and romances

End of week four Saturday, Sept. 19th: How did this week go for you?

- uh pretty shitty lol. My cat died today in my arms so...

End of week four Sunday, Sept. 20th: What is your plan for the upcoming week?

- i’m taking work off tomorrow for some TLC and then going about my everyday schedule with work and online schooling. Might meet a friend Thursday for brunch if I’m feeling up to it.

21. Monday, Sept. 21st: What do you do for your self care?

- the biggest thing for me is not feeling physically gross. if i let myself get into a funk where i don't shower or keep up with my routines, whether that be skincare or everyday chores, i’ll for sure slowly get worse mentally so i always make sure to keep up with those even, or especially, when i really really don’t want to. This question really fits this week as i’ve totally been wanting to just sleep the days away.

Went and saw this beautiful structure yesterday with my historical preservation class. It's in the Queen Anne style, one of my absolute favorites, and I wish I took pictures of the asymmetrical interior and deep colored walls because it was GORGEOUS. Didn't know this gem existed till now.

It's been quite a productive week for me as I've been researching nonstop. Thankfully, I have today off because of homecoming this weekend. How's my weekly spread?

i’ve shown hardly any of my japanese notes since starting up again, but i should be posting some this week. i’m just too intrigued by kanji, so i think i’m going to go through all my lessons much slower so that i can practice the kanji as well. since wednesday’s start of The Fifty Hours Club, i’ve written down around 28 kanji, which is pretty cool. i’m hoping to nail down a routine by the end of this week. @tokidokitokyo has been a lovely help so far, and my inspiration to not be so illiterate in such a beautiful language!

🚨 My New Challenge - UPDATE 🚨

as i’m sure many of you know, i have done two challenges over the past six months (the 2020 quarantine challenge and the summer studying challenge) and many people have been asking if i am going to do some more.

the short answer is: YES!

unlike the summer studying challenge however, which started immediately after the quarantine one finished, i will be taking a little break before i do this one. there are a few reasons for this:

on Wednesday i will be starting the new school year and this will be in person meaning that i will have a lot less time than i had for both the other challenges

i will be going into year 13, which for non-british people, is the final year of high school in the uk and also when you do all the applications to unis, so it is obviously incredibly important, so i want to be fully focused on getting a good start and getting back into a routine

i currently have literally zero notes that i can post because after posting every day for SIX MONTHS (168 days you guys!!!!!!) so i need a bit of time to get some notes so i have things that i can actually post

the idea that i have for my next challenge is a bit different from the ones i’ve done before (and any ones that i’ve really seen before) so i need a little bit of time to think it through and get it to work properly

anyway, i will be taking a short break from challenges as i sort this stuff out. this will not be a hiatus (i think) because i will still be posting but it will be more like my pre-challenge schedule which was whenever i had free time rather than every day

i am planning to start my next challenge in October and it will run for the whole month. i will probably release the prompt post about 1 week before the start of october. if you would like to be tagged in the prompt post please reply to this post and let me know.

in regards to other challenges after this one, i do have some more planned (by that i mean in my head lol) and there will probably be a winter challenge (likely covering December and January) but this is a little while away so i’ll give more information about this later!

i hope this sounds good for you all and if any of you have any ideas or things you want me to do please send me an ask!!!
