Do you have any headcanons for the kings & queens of the underworld like Hades, Osiris, Hel? Like how they act around each other?

this ask came to my inbox on Dec 26, 2022. i'm sorry it took me so long.

so, i like the idea that the Underworld is kinda connected. like.. no matter which pantheon's realm of the dead it is, there are pathways at some place that connect the world of the dead with other worlds of the dead..

i think that's part of the reason why there are so many underworld guardians,, and why it's so popular to have some sort of savage, wild animal guarding the gates.

with Hades, i've already mentioned this before, but i like the idea of him having a very paternal side... i think Zeus, as god of the skies and "father" of mankind (forget Prometheus for a second hahaha), and given his billion trillion children, he definitely has a fatherly side. and i think it's the same deal with Hades- having to look after so many countless subordinate deities and ghosts etc must surely give you a paternal side too.

so i like the idea that Hades has a natural fatherly gravitation towards Hel. Hel is one of the younger deities i think.

also, Macaria, who is Hades' daughter, i think is besties with Hel, and with Anubis' daughter Kebechet also, so these girl goddesses of death are always hanging around Hades..

i've never really imagined Loki as having a very "hands-on" approach to fatherhood. i don't think he ever interacted that much with Hel, or with her other monster siblings except when he needed them for his antics. maybe that's because the long distance made it difficult, maybe because he wanted to keep them out of Odin's mind.. idk. i just don't think he was very much in Hel's life.

so that's why i think there's a lot of room for Hades to enter into Hel's life and become that missing father figure.

individually, and as an adult, i think Hel tends to be isolated... she doesn't engage all that much with her own pantheon, and she definitely doesn't engage with other pantheons. i think maybe she's partial to fellow death gods, but anyone else, she'd just not engage with.

Osiris. my favourite guy. i think he's very different to the other gods because while Hades and Hel i might describe as a little "edgy", a little emo.. Osiris is, in my mind, a total sweetheart. a bit of a jock even maybe.

he's full of bright smiles, and funny (read: cringey) jokes. when i think about Hel and Hades (the locations), black, and moss green colour schemes come to my mind.. but when I think about the Egyptian underworld, it's very bright- gold, blue, red, green.. all the colours. it's a happy place.

i think Osiris' personality reflects this. he's like the Baldr of Egypt. so he gets along very very well with Hades and Hel... it's difficult to dislike him.

i like to imagine that they have very deep, philosophical discussions about the meaning of life, the importance of mortals, the value of soul.

also, i'd like to point out that all 3x (greek, norse, egyptian) pantheons have a special dog-like creature with a special role in the process of passing from life to death... i think that Cerberus, Garmr, and Ammit are very friendly with each other :-))) they probably go on walks together

silly little fan kid prompts

in a wildly out of character moment for me, i COMPLETELY skimmed over the rodie part of this ask fdhjgbdhb so i will ! do that next and @ you in it! BUT hey. hey. shakes a terrick kid at you

this is cameron, my new baby girl sweet daughter cameron. i like to headcanon that samantha always did terry's hair when he was young, so it was cute to me to imagine that terry would do the same to her :] and of course, nicky has to introduce cameron to all the sick ass movies that glenn showed him, including the ever famous predator handshake.

both the stamplers and the close-foster-etc families have very specific like. through-lines in their families which make this combo interesting for a fan kid? im gonna put my further notes under a cut along with some etc rambling because this is just. exciting to me. i usually make fan kids with a story already in mind, but this exercise is kind of the opposite where i have to figure out the story as i go, and thats really fun to me :D

mild spoilers for the newer episodes of season 2, but i decided to uh. Pay Attention To Biology here since terry jr was revealed to be infertile, and i think thats interesting, so cameron is adopted!! this obviously left my options pretty open, but i decided to still stick with a mixed kid, Black/Chinese, since 1. feels kinda against the point of a fan kid if i just did a random design lol and 2. considering nicky's odd genealogy as well as his severe issues with wanting his dad(s) to be proud of him and the way hes so lopsidedly attached to his family, i figured he would be the type of guy to want his adopted kid to look like him. i dont think terry would care, but he would want nicky to be happy, so it all works out in that regard ! i went back and forth a bit on if i wanted her to have freckles, i thought it could be a cute tie back to jodie, but decided against it.

she does follow the Ron -> Terry -> Ron -> Terry naming scheme, originally i was gonna go for a terry name but i figured a ron one would make more sense lol so her name is cameron! i think she would take a lot of fashion inspiration from her parents, ive always seen them as both very. emo/alternative. terry less so as he grows older, but nicky definitely clings to it, and i think that would rub off on cameron. shes not as dark and edgy as they are - i think she would be a pretty bright and bubbly kid, actually - but i kinda like the idea of her being lowkey scene/scemo. yes im biased because thats one of my favorite sub-cultures, but its CUTE. i didnt really feel like doing full outfit sketches but just know that if i did. she would be scene. and like both of her dads as teens (and nicky still into adulthood), she does dye her hair pretty heavily hehe

the only real unfortunate thing about fan kids for a series thats like. already very heavy with canon kids. is that it kind of leaves everything in a weird place where its like... do cassandra and taylor exist in this? do veronica and scary? and uhhh i dunno ghbfjdgdfhjh up to interpretation, i suppose. its easy enough to just have cassandra and nicky be divorced, but the veronica/terry of it all is murkier ... food for thought, i guess. scary would fuckin hate cameron though i think they would argue LMAO

Helluva Boss Matchup Is…Loona!

Let’s be honest here, Loona and you would be friends immediately. The both of you are quite awkward when trying to put effort into meeting new people you like, have similar fashion senses (*cough cough* More so on anything Goth, Emo, or anything remotely “edgy” and “cool”), and finally both of your protective natures for your loved ones, even if Loona doesn’t show it that much.

At first, the Hellhound didn’t care for you as much as any other bystander, seeing you only as another sap living in Hell (or Earth, if you prefer). But then again, she’ll warm up to you and give a new friendship a chance, Loona couldn’t help but laugh at your vulgar jokes and vibe to your music tastes, which is a rarity in the I.M.P Business.

Blitzo, on the other hand, is rather protective of his daughter after realizing that she’s becoming slightly more extroverted lately, though he is happy that she’s making friends on her own and having a social life outside of the business.

Face it, Blitzo would definitely join you in the sexual jokes and light banter after a week of meeting you. Though, if you’re uncomfortable with him egging you on about these unfiltered puns, then he’ll back off entirely and potentially diminish your friendship with his only kid because of it.

Anyways, onto other details. Loona loves your body shape and doesn’t really care what you look like, as long as you're cool in her book, even if she’s snarky about it with her fellow coworkers (such as with Moxxie). Speaking of being snarky, Loona feels as though she can be her true self with you without any form of consequences, especially with the two of you playfully going at each other’s throats over video games or face to face.

Whenever someone else gets smart with you or tries to bully you for whatever reason while she’s in the room, The Hellhound will pause her fingers above her phone and stare at the one who offended you, giving them a bombastic side eye and silently daring them to repeat what they just said to you. If the offender continues to mock you, then Loona will forcibly take matters into her own hands and kick their ass, literally and figuratively.

She’s the type to watch over your shoulder slightly as you work on your favorite hobbies, and maybe even tries to do some of them herself. However, she admires you for doing pottery and art better than she can, seeing as though you’re more crafted in the subjects than she is. Please gift her a piece of your talent, I’m begging you 🙏🏼 🥺 Loona will definitely keep a drawing you did for her on her wall in her bedroom because she sees you as her younger sibling as this point.

As a transgender person, The Hellhound was pretty open minded and accepting, given the fact that her dad is having an affair with an already married man, but that situation is for another time to talk about. It’s complicated as it is. With you, however, Loona always opt to use your proper pronouns and surprisingly remembers them without mistake.

If anyone isn’t aware of your preferred pronouns or simply refuses to use them for whatever reason, then you can bet your ass that she’s standing up for you until the other person backs off. On a completely unrelated note, I’d also like to add that the two of you horse around like real siblings, rough housing and all, if you’re down of course.

For your sexuality, on the other hand, Loona was a teensy bit confused, but with enough explaining, she understands completely and is quick to question others if they decide to bring you harm because of it. She knows when push comes to shove real quick, so don’t worry about your safety too much, she works with an assisation group after all.

For Millie and Moxxie, they sort of see you as their own nephew and treat you as their own. Of course, the I.M.P are your new family now, so get used to a lot of action and various forms of platonic love 🥰.

Five nights at Freddy’s Matchup Is…Ballora!

At first, Ballora was the one who confronted you firsthand for whatever reason she may have had, though realizing your discomfort, she backs off and takes her time speaking to you. She is an unfiltered and honest character, which is why she hates “playing pretend” (or in my mind at least), May it be bad or good is entirely up to you.

She’ll most likely remind you how talented you are, wanting you to be your best, authentic self, despite what others may think of you. However, Ballora can’t force you to do something you are uncomfortable with, and will hold back with her advances.

In theory of the FNAF fandom, She is the mother and wife in the Afton Family, and her maternal personality will be directed to you as well, even in death. If the theory is false, then Ballora will treat you similarly to the children that come and go, though with more respect of course, considering that you’re a little older.

Now, onto your appearance. I feel like she’s the type to admire and adore someone despite their looks, and will tell you how amazing you look. For you, though, she’s astonished that you have varying clothing styles that even she hadn’t realized existed before. She’s beyond flabbergasted and speechless, which is a good thing; Plus, she wishes to dance with you someday in these clothes and show you off to the minireenas, even if you aren’t good at dancing at all.

Don’t take this the wrong way, but Ballora will show your art (and yourself) off like each one is your best prized possession. Though, she will avoid giving you the limelight if you seem to be uncomfortable with her high praise and try her best to take it back a few notches. She’ll most likely keep your art on her walls in her Gallery room, however kept in a more secluded area where kids, or anyone in general, can take them down. Only she can admire them, so she hates it when someone rips them up; Ballora learned the hard way.

For your singing and music tastes, Ballora will most certainly dance to it. You sing, she dances, the perfect duo 💪🏼. Sometimes, she allows the Minireenas to show off their own skills as well or join in on her dancing too. Wholesome, is it not?

When it comes to your gender and sexuality though, it takes some time for her to understand due to the fact that she was built in the late 80’s, where people were closeted for many reasons. Plus, she basically “lived” under a house for god knows how long. Though, I doubt Ballora will dislike you simply for your own preferences, and a matter of fact, Ballora has a newfound respect for you. Personally, as stated earlier, I feel as though she is the type to value honesty above all else, however will not push you to do something you’re not comfortable with. So with the fact that you trust her enough to reveal this information, Ballora can’t help but feel honored.

If anyone brings you trouble for who you are and what you like, her Minireenas (and maybe some Bidybabs, too, if Baby allows it) will take care of the offender, don't worry too much. Also, she can’t leave her stage during the daytime unless rented out, so the news of what happened will depend on the day. By the end of the day, Ballora will always be there to comfort and soothe you as best as she can if need be.

Lastly, your sense of humor. I feel as though Ballora has a dry sense of humor, while yours is more “wet”, if that makes any sense at all. Her laugh is similar to that of Fenneko from the anime “Aggretsuko”, but she genuinely will laugh at your Ohio jokes, even if her steel face says otherwise, so being an animatronic has its faults for being non expressive.

Ballora, as a whole, admires for who you are and supports you through and through. She’s the animatronic to praise you, even in your lowest of lows, she’ll be there to comfort you.

The Amazing World of Gumball Matchup is…Tobias Wilson!

As the best for last, Tobias will treat you with absolute royalty in a way that spoils you rotten. For example, he will buy you the art supplies you wanted for a year now or even go as far as to (platonically) “rizz” you up with incredibly, yet ridiculously, expensive gifts that no one else is able to buy and show off his “buff muscles” along with it.

At first, Tobias genuinely thought you hung around him purely because his family was rich as hell. The more the two of you did hang out, however, the more he realized that you actually wanted to be his friend, albeit in an awkward manner from the start.

From that point on, the little guy tried his best to act like a real friend and not be a jerk for once (like in the show itself), so it takes him a hot minute for him to be more of a decent person. Instead of buying you expensive items, and depending on your (platonic) love languages, Tobias will try to meet your expectations as a friend from then on.

When it comes to hobbies, Tobias will stare at you like “👁_👁” in amazement and astonishment, mesmerized by your talent. May it be your pottery, cooking, or even learning a second language, he tries to either show off to get your attention or one up you in a playful manner, covered in clay, paint, and pride. Tobias probably summoned his paralysis demon in Latin by accident thanks to you, so there’s that/j.

Tobias will always question you as to how you got so many hobbies and still manage to create masterpieces, even if he does watch you create them like a child wondering how the Detachable Thumb Trick works, despite it being explained to them more than 12 times. Homeboy will praise the literal floor you walk on just by this alone 💀.

When it comes to Gym class, though, he will definitely get competitive with you while everyone else is exhausted, especially with Dodgeball. The two of you are wild with it, either you throwing the balls and him dodging with ease or the other way around, making the both of you that “one kid who becomes Goku” in Gym class. During this, most of the class will choose sides as to who would win or record the scenery before them. By the end of the period, everyone left with stunned bafflement and amazement, all in a good way. Now these classmates have a reason to go to Gym now, all thanks to the both of you, lol.

Besides this, Tobias totally vibes with your humor, especially the sexual ones. He’s the best one on the list with your sense of comedy and the type who would egg you on like a wingman, though if he accidentally goes too far with someone such as offending them or making them mad, he’ll immediately apologize and find a way to make it up to them. Especially if they were a friend of yours or a loved one, seeing as though he does try to be a better friend and person in the canonical show.

Understanding your sexuality and gender is a whole thing of itself. Considering his age, he’s new to all this, but understands the meaning behind them on the first try, absorbing this information like a sponge. Surprisingly gets your pronouns right on the bat, and will definitely swing at anyone who misgenders you. Tobias will treat you the same like always, but his respect for you has risen by 9,000. The rainbow child understands you the most when it comes to this stuff, so the two of you are immediately best friends from then on.

When it comes to other people giving you trouble with your interests or gender identity (or any part of you at all), Tobias will defend you like a white knight in shining armor. But in all seriousness, he’ll be by your side through thick and thin, even if he isn’t the best athletic and physically built person in the school.

By the end of the day, Tobias is your best friend until the very end. He deeply respects you the most out of everyone around him, most likely outweighing his envy for Gumball and his wild adventures and that’s saying something. Which is a good thing, by the way.

Additionally, He would never be the type to put you into situations where you’re uncomfortable, including to subject you to your fears (spiders, in this case) or compare you to someone else. Even if he did, it would probably be by accident and will apologize profusely after realizing this mistake.

While Tobias spent some time with you, he genuinely changed for the better; Not flirting with girls (even when they’re explicitly taken), showing off his money and “muscles”, ect. and decides to just be a relatively normal kid. He still has his moments but it isn’t as bad as he used to be, plus he always backs off when a girl tells him “no” or shows hints of uninterest.

Tobias became more of a class clown overtime, knowing when to take a joke and being the subject of a quick laugh. After all, Who wouldn't want to be friends with this rainbow goofball 😉.

Hello I hope this does not come off as rude or overly harsh which unsolicited criticism often tends to be but there are just a few pet peeves I have with cmar.

Y/N has literally been hurt by so many people which is kind of odd considering she is "pretty" and the daughter of a mafia leader tho one who doesn't care about her. Still there is no way it wouldn't have given her privilege even if it was hidden that she was her daughter ppl definitely will be hesitant to hurt to hurt her.

Also the reasons why she hates these people are all the same that they hurt her and/or harrassed her which is fine but it gets so repetitive.

Also earlier in the story its very unbelievable how a sweet girl like yn so insecure of her emotions would end up as this weird emo like no emotions gal. Like ik the whole point is that she has been hurt so much that she became this way but even when oneself is trying to survive by blocking out emotions they preserve a bit of their past selves not intentionally but just naturally. I just feel that yn is so bland now, the "oh i don't show emotions unless I am having a mental breakdown" just seems overplayed because if she is having so many panic attacks on the regular she is DEFINITELY an emotional person and one who shows it too since she's kinda bad at hiding them from anyone who looks at all more than 2 sec at her.

The healing arc should definitely be here yet cuz yn is not dumb and since pointless revenge is not giving her peace she should try something else? Like it honestly feels like Tumblr teens who post edgy things about mental illness but don't wanna heal from it cuz that's their only personality trait.

Again, I did thoroughly enjoy the first half of cmar and I send this with no ill intent. I just wonder if you can elaborate a bit of your thought process for the above so that I can read the rest of the chapters without being annoyed by these things.

first of all, thanks for your input because obviously i'm not the greatest writer out there and getting to know this part of my writing helps me out a lot! and of course, i can definitely walk you through my thought process without spoiling too much. it's gonna be long so i'll leave it under the cut

the thing with being pretty in this context, and it's kinda a theme with the mafia world in cmar, is that the pretty ones (i say pretty ones because seokjin and jimin are also considered pretty and went through some similar harassment) are taken advantage of by their beauty. like attracting creepy old men for example and sure there's that privilege of turning people over to your side but that comes with the issue of trusting whether their intentions are good or not -- and y/n is always on the edge. she also hates the spotlight and attention and only uses her pretty privilege to an advantage if she needs to for a mission. not to mention the men in the mafia world are pretty much psychopaths who gets upset easily. you can only do so much with a pretty face. a pretty face may attract easily but being pretty isn't the reason people stay with you or will always take your side. and at the end of the day, these men live off power and control.

y/n hates a lot of people but the whole thing with her revenge arc isn't her going after people that have only harassed her. her first man was her father and you know the story with that. the second was daejung, who had kidnapped her when she was only fourteen and that traumatized her. jummy, though was abusive, wasn't her target, it was his brother ying, who trafficked children and the reason why she went after him was to save those children. leehyun was a predator who got her to fear the touch of men. nari wasn't even a part of the list because yeah she harassed y/n but that was all. y/n doesn't only care entirely about the people that only harassed her, it goes a little deeper than that. and now our next target is karl who (spoiler alert) is behind the reason to y/n's first and only reaper who died (aka nakyum), and the other ones i can't explain cuz they're not revealed yet lmao. but all in all, her hit list are individual people that have done her wrong through different reasons.

i guess it's fair for you to say that our y/n has gotten bland. that is of course your view and i can't change your perspective on her personality. it's a bit harder to explain since not a lot has been revealed about what went on during that mysterious ten year gap (with her shift of personality), but i guess a good reason i can give is the fact that most of the storytelling is in y/n's perspective, which means whatever she says or think may or may not actually be accurate information. aka her outtake on not wanting to be an emotional person but her actions contradicts her thoughts. like if you were to read things through mingyu's perspective, he'd definitely agree with you saying she's an emotional person because he's there to witness her breakdowns, etc. y/n on the other hand likes to pretend she doesn't care about anything and tries to shut her emotions off but, again, her actions contradicts her wants and beliefs. and the same goes with her emotional thoughts, her panicked thoughts, etc. for example on the inside, we can read through her thoughts and the things she's saying like when nari's guys went to touch her and she's internally panicking, along with when karl touched her. we can read her thoughts because, again, the story's mostly in her pov, but from an outsider's perspective, she looks calm and cool and aloof but you may or may not see or understand that because you, as readers, are deep into her thoughts so it's easy to understand her from within because we've gotten to know her a lot, but again, a lot of her panicked state (when in front of people she doesn't trust) occurs internally. jungkook and the boys have come to know and understand her a bit more so they can identify it better now but previously they only thought of her as an emotionless dickhead.

the healing arc is dragged on but i would say for good reason because, well, i guess there's some important points that i haven't touched on yet that i feel should be addressed before we head for her healing. there's this quote that two anons sent me that could sum up a good explanation to your criticism here and that's: "Sometimes we don't want to heal because the pain is the last link to what we've lost." as well as: "I am destroying myself so other people can't , and it's the worst kind of control, but it's the only form I know" and maybe this might not be a good enough explanation but i feel like when it comes to people who's dealt with lots of things, it's not easy to just "give up" on what they're doing and head to healing. it's easier said than done. i wouldn't say she's similar to an angsty teen but she's definitely immature in her own ways and that's partly because, in a way, she's still grappling with her lost childhood. her revenge is pointless, yes, and she knows it's not giving her the peace she wants but maybe she's hurting herself on purpose, maybe she can't just "heal" because hurt is all she's known her entire life, because it's the only thing she's used to.

idk if i've elaborated enough but that's a bit of my thought process. if i went on any longer, i'd probably accidentally spoil major stuff lmao and i think this is long enough oop- but i hope that even if none of this changes your mind, you can understand a bit of my perspective (as best as i tried to explain it haha) 💗

who are your top three favorite game of thrones characters and why?

i spent wayyyy to much time thinking about my little dudes. this took me like four hours because i kept going back and deleting because i couldn't decide on them oops. i know it's taken me literally forever to answer this, but i've been thinkin thoughts in my car. and i'm going to go by book only characters from the first two in the series bc i like the way they're characterized a lot more and they're the ones i'm most familiar with. i also want you to know that i'm incredibly incoherent

jon snow. i know i'm basic for this one. i know i am. but he's the game of thrones version of an anime protagonist. i think that this is extremely funny- in one chapter, he crushes a frozen lemon with his fist and it's never elaborated on again (??? what was the reason for this??), he has a literal albino pet wolf who's name is ghost :) who he loves very much, he's fiercely protective over his friends and new brothers and also just, like, a good dude?? he just tries to stand up for what's right, and in a world where pretty much every character is just trying to get more political power, it's a refreshing choice. i'd also like to mention that he's fourteen at the start of the books, and he gets to be an all around edgy westerosi teen, but he's also just a good kid and i think that's so lovely of him. there's a line of him showing his cool new sword to his wolf and he goes something like "look it's you :)" bc his broskis made him a new pommel in the shape of a wolfs head!! absolute lovely moment. every so often, you're reminded he's just some kid. he loves his family so much and i'm sad that he only gets a few scenes with them at the beginning of the book. okay, by family i mean arya, but they're really cute. he's really close with his little (half) sister arya and messes up her hair a lot. he gives her a sword as a parting gift :) and they're kinda the closest sibling pair in the stark family because they look the most like their dad and are often the ones most at odd with catelyn, their mom (but not his mom biologically. his dad, at the end of a war, just brought back a baby and was like "this is my son" and she hasn't been able to love jon ONCE). you kinda get the feeling that she's the only one who never judged him for being a bastard while still understanding what it means. they're relationships is just cute. you also get really banger character moments that i still think about, like him getting drunk at the fantasy version of the thanksgiving kids table and then yelling and crying at his uncle that he's "never going to father a bastard". or when he threatened to kill some dude in his sleep with his giant pet wolf for being mean to the new guy, sam. i'll admit his chapters are a bit boring in the sense that it's not a lot of stuff that happens plotwise for like the first 40%ish, but i got excited every time it was his turn to get a pov bc it's mostly him with his bros in the nights watch, being a weird snarky emo boy and i- i love him sm.

i debated heavily on wether it should be robb or catelyn stark. they're pretty conjoined in my mind though, so i just put them both in a giant paragraph. but i'm gonna start with cat because she's one of the most complex characters in the books to me. cat is kinda in her flop era for like the first ten percent of the first book. she's horrifically abusive to jon snow, the bastard son of her husband, because she views him both as a threat to *her* children and as a reminder of her relationships pitfalls with her husband. her motherhood and her grief are central to her as character themes, as well as her preoccupation with duty and honor. i'm now going to take this time to talk about my son, robb stark and the genetic eldest daughter syndrome they both have. cat grew up as lady of her house, her mother dying and leaving her to take up a maternal role in her household. she got betrothed to her husbands brother when she was twelve and never complained because she was trying to do what she thought she was supposed to do. "i always did my duty". something similar happens to her son when his father, cats husband, leaves with his two daughters to be an advisor to the king at the time. i think it's mentioned that, despite being the heir to winterfell, his family's giant castle, no one had ever seriously taught him about ruling a place like that?? which. okay. he's already thrust into taking up a paternal role to take care of his remaining siblings. he loses his mother for a time. when bran is in a coma, she shuts everyone out, focusing on taking care of her son. in doing so, she neglects to care for her two other children, robb and baby rickon. this leaves robb alone, now without his mother to guide him (he's also like 15 at this point) he's now ruling winterfell and acting as a father to his youngest sibling. she actually does leave when someone tries to kill bran with a dagger- seeking justice out for her son. the goes on a little journey (which is like most of her journey in the books but i'm glossing over it because it was kinda boring rip), and when she comes back she takes incredible psychic damage from seeing her son having grown up so fast. and i'm like, babes you're responsible for this. she always is so taken aback by how old he's starting to look. he grows a weird teen boy beard and she takes psychic damage. she's basically his biggest political advisor in his campaign as king in the north. maybe my thoughts aren't that complicated on that, but they both adhere so strictly to a code of honor and duty- it makes me mentally ill. and to know that it gets robb killed!!! they change this up in the show, and it isn't until the third book but knowing that robb betrayed his political alliance bc he made a mistake by sleeping with a girl and then marrying her the next morning bc it was the right thing to do and sticking by her?? the parallels with him and his dad... i feel like evaporated milk.

howland reed. i can't really explain this one so much. never actually shows up in the books but has inexplicably strong dilf energy. one of like three good dads in the entire series. absolute unit on the basketball court. more fun in my head than cannon. if hbo ever does a roberts rebellion prequel i will have my ass parked in front of that tv screen so fast you won't even believe

Fit Battle: Jotaro Kujoh vs Anakin Skywalker

So unlike Dio and Sidious who have a whole wardrobe of fits, Jotaro and Anakin have age range specific fits. This is how I’ll be categorizing the fits

Early Life Fit

Both these fits is terrible. No swag. No drip. Basic bitch fits. However, we have to go by the potential growth of the fit.

These blank slate fits, so who’s fit has the most growth? Jotaro Kujoh’s

So because of that, I have to give Kujoh the win.

GG, Jotaro

Teenager/Young Adult Fit

One these fits is cool, edgy, and embodying swag. The other is flat and emo.

One has a big ass gold chain hanging from the jacket collar. The other got just pure dirt collars.

One has a hat that blends into their hair. One doesn’t even know what I hat is.

I have to give this to Jotaro Kujoh. This whole thing is about the swag and the evolution potential of fits.

Anakin, throw some colors and cool chains on your outfit or something, dawg. Like even a cool belt would have given you an edge. Even an extra belt.

There ain’t a code in the Jedi Order that restricts having multiple belts on, have some creativity. Jotaro swagged out his high school uniform to make that fit.

Adulthood Fit

Jotaro came in clutch and upgraded his fit with his mentality. He’s not a high schooler fighting an evil British vampire no more. He’s a grown man who is married and has a child. He’s an man who is writing a thesis for college. His hat’s hair blending is more pronounced

Because of this, his fit becomes more subdued colorway wise and more suave. I see Jotaro’ fit in DIU and a tear falls down my cheek because I’m like “wow, my Jotaro has really grown up into a wonderful man. He’s no longer a bad boy teenager with a heart of cold. He’s a good man who been through a lot”

Anakin, meanwhile, is out here having a fit devolution. He’s doubled down on the black. He’s still dressed too similarly. His fit shows that he has no creativity. He’s just thinks that wearing a bunch of black makes him look cool and edgy.

When I see anakin Skywalker’s fit, I say “wow, so he’s still in that same place that he was as a Padawan? Nah, judging from his fit, he’s seemed to have doubled down on all his edgy beliefs.”

Again, you telling me that war hero anakin skywalker couldnt have done something to spice up his fit? Like anakin, you on the battlefield dressed like this? You could have added some nice white, gold, or red accents to your clothing and some something.

Transitionary Fit

I cannot give the fit battle round win to Jotaro here. Is Anakin’s fit good? No.

Is Jotaro’s first better? Absolutely not.

This is jotaro’s worst fit ever. I understand that he was going through a rough patch in his marriage probably in Vento Aureo, but still like Jotaro who told you this fit was good?

I can’t say that jotaro’s fit is boring. It’s very creative. But it did kinda flop. Anakin’s fit is still pretty void of all creativity and style but at least he’s finally thrown in some accents.

GG, Anakin, you won this one.

40+ Year Old Fit

Life ain’t been kind to Jotaro or Anakin by the time they 40+

Jotaro Kujoh’s marriage fell apart and he has little to no relationship with his daughter because of the constant threat of Stand users tryna kill him. And he loves them both so he had to make that sacrifice so they wouldn’t be killed. Dawg struggling out here.

Anakin Skywalker turned on all his day ones over a woman who he ended up killing because she made him angry once. Plus, like a dumbass he jumped directly into a bitch with a tactical advantage, got chopped up and burnt up.

However, there is no excuse for Vader to live his life with no swag. Like put “Vader” on your sleeve in Star Wars language like how Jotaro has “jojo” on his sleeve. Do something cool or something.

Vader—having the most aesthetic freedom ever for once in his whole life—can’t even throw the space Balenciaga on or add some cool red colors to his suit. Sidious wouldnt stop him. Vader is his own robot man but he still has no swag.

meanwhile, Jotaro’s hat has fully fused with his head and he got the snakeskin pants with the snakeskin boots on.

Is this his midlife crisis fit? Yes, but it’s still better than Vader’s fit. Dawg literally been wearing the exact same outfit since 23 years old. No wonder he’s depressed with no hoes and no relationship with his daughter.

The winner of this round is Jotaro Kujoh.

Blog Information + Characters

What is this blog?

"askpandaloids" is a vocaloid AU based on the mod's webcomic, which has its blog at @pandapearls ! This is a side blog, and will follow through @askyukayuzu . This blog is run by @pandrena and has dialogue help from @servantparent

What's it about?

Essentially, it's about the vocaloid characters but they're dressed up and act like the characters from my comic. That said, there's no plot to follow, so don't worry about having read the comic first! Just enjoy the nonsense.

This blog has, um...interesting ships...?

I tried my best not to pair up any vocaloids who aren't like. "okay" to be paired up. That is, all canon ages have been checked to the best of my ability before pairing up characters with other ones to avoid child/adult relationships. If a canon age was not given, I figured it was free reign unless the character explicity looked like. Yknow. a child (eg. Rana whose...age is 0 for whatever reason.) As a result, there's a good interesting mix of ships. If I have in fact missed something and there is a child/adult ship that I accidentally made, I will fix it ASAP and change one of the characters being depicted in the AU.

Rin Kagamine = Maria Rennington: Rin is the daughter of Gumi and Mayu, the niece of Miku and Luka, the sister of Len. She’s a funny girl, who’s very chaotic and loves bunnies.

Hatsune Miku = Nori Fuchi: Miku is the grumpy aunt of Len and Rin, the adopted sister of Mayu, and is married to IA. She’s very edgy and emo, unlike our usual Hatsune. She also swears a lot.

GUMI Megpoid = Edgar Rennington: Gumi is the ex-villain and silly genderfluid father/mother of Rin and Len, husband/wife of Mayu. She’s chaotic and comes off a bit of a joke, trying to reform for her past crimes…She’s also blind.

Kamui Gakupo = Rennird Von Garnet: Gakupo is a surgeon who takes part in very morbid operations. No, none of its legal. His assistant is Yukari, whom he also dates along with Avanna. He’s an ex-friend of Gumi and Rin considers him her best friend. He was recently reunited with his little sister Yuki.

Yuzuki Yukari = Runi Von Garnet: Yukari is Gakupo’s assistant. She and Rennird both date Avanna as well, and she has a body that can regenerate anything. She also has a “pouch” that can store organs and objects for Gakupo’s later use.

Avanna = Poku Hallowell: Avanna is a pirate captain, as well as romantically involved with Yukari and Gakupo. They are a satyr and has a lot of fae magic on their side, as well as a love for adventure.

Luka Megurine = Pillowchan: Sister of Gumi, aunt of Len and Rin, lover of Kaito. She loves crab and is kind of the most loyal cat with a human head you’ll ever meet…But she’s also going to sass you.

Kaito = Voice of Reason: Ex-butler to Gumi, boyfriend of Luka. He’s got the ability to control shadows and usually wears a bird mask.

Meiko = Emi Fuki: Meiko is a very “no nonsense” type of woman, and gay as hell. She works at a zoo full time, and is addicted to coffee. Her wife is Galaco..

Len Kagamine = Roy Rennington: Len is an anger-driven individual with an unhealthy relatonship with his father, Gumi,and his emotions in general. He’s very protective of Rin.

Mayu = Emily Fuchi: Mayu is Gumi’s wife and the mother of Rin and Len, and the adopted sister of Miku. She’s sweet, but can be threatening in nature.

IA = Allen Jones (belonging to @servantparent): IA is a puppy with puppy love for Miku. She takes care of basically everyone by cooking and cleaning the house - which she’s experienced with from being Gumi’s previous maid. However, there’s a bit more to IA then there initially appears…

VFLOWER = Static 003: Ex-assistant to Gakupo, ex-cohort of Gumi, and girlfriend of Mirai, V Flower is a confused sort morally, but she’s trying her best.

Mirai Komachi = Jester (belonging to @servantparent): Mirai is the girlfriend of VFlower, and a chaotic force of nature. Carries a Kazoo at all times. Multiple, even. Also, she’s always there to make people happy. Kazoo noises

Fukase = Kem: Fukase is a ferryman, and dear friend of Yukari and Gakupo. Took care of Yuki for some time, with his boyfriend Yohio.

Oliver = Hibo: Essentally penguin themed all around, and pilots a penguin mech, he’s an orphan who’s very angsty.

Kokone = Milly Brontow: Cow-hybrid daughter of Galaco’s old bodyguard. Originally appeared to like Nori, but actually likes Una and is dating her. She is almost entirely mute, with only capabilities of small wordless noises.

Galaco = Princess Moko: Ex-princess, Galaco now lives with her new wife Meiko as the two adjust to a nuts life. She never opens her eyes.

Yohio = Hask: Sort of an adoptive father of Yuki, and boyfriend of Fukase. He never cloes his mouth, only alters his toothy smile to a frown and vise versa. Very sweet, but most people find him scary - his “mask salesman” shtick doesn’t help anything.

Kaai Yuki = Andrea “Andy” Von Garnet: Gakupo’s little sister, who was assumed missing for years. However, she’s actually been under the care of Fukase and Yohio. She’s sweet and shy and loves turtles. She’s also easily sick…

Macne Petit = Urisk: Cute little 10-year-old parasite who harbors a crush on Yuki, and is the source of Gakupo’s tentacle weapon. Calls Gakupo “Boss” a lot, but views him sort of as a parent

DAINA = Cedric Fortwalk: Daina is a shapeshifter, and her current appearance isn’t actually her “true” appearance, because whatever she shifts into has a chance of leaving a permanent feature - this means she’s actually just a mishmash of many different peoples’ appearances. Her brother is Dex, and she hates him.

DEX = Fore Fortwalk: Dex is a monster hunter, and is sort of out to kill Daina for all the crimes she’s commited, too. He’s very honorable, even letting the worst of thieves get away if they merely apologize. Problem is, Daina won’t do that apology game.

MAIKA = Wibkinz (“Kenzie”): Maika is a witch. She enjoys messing with people for her own gain, but isn’t necessarily a wicked witch. She’s just here for whoever can pay her most, but does have a teeny tiny amount of morals…She likes to collect ingredients, and her broom is actually a double barrel shotgun.

CUL = Zasshu: Cul is a head ninja and theb oss of Big Al and Sweet Ann. She’s quiet and reserved, but can be energetic if given the right topics. She fights with a large axe not unlike Len’s.

Big Al = Luther: Big Al is a ninja, and Sweet Ann is his partner in crime. He’s easily exhausted by the chaos around him, but is also determined to reach his goals. He works under Cul.

Sweet Ann = Kuru: Sweet Ann is a ninja, and Big Al’s partner in crime. She’s fashion sensible for the most part, but can go a bit wild with Al’s money. She’s very sweet an energetic, accepting of most anyone. She works under Cul, and crushes on Prima.

Kizuna Akari = Doe(belonging to @servantparent): Akari is half-devil, half-angel, and sarcastically, brutually honest. She basically raised herself, because her parents were busy, and she doesn’t show much emotion…But does seem to harbor a crush on Rin!

UNI = Aceline(belonging to @servantparent): Professional dancer and Kokone’s girlfriend, Uni is friendly to most everyone. However, she finds it hard to trust others and is wary towards men.

Luo Tianyi = Nomikomu (“Komu”): Tianyi is a ninja like Sweet Ann and Big Al, and also works under Cul. She’s shark themed, with a fin on her head, but interestingly enough, she’s also known as “Smoke Shark,” due to the smoke constantly protruding from her mouth. The source of this smoke is unknown, it just is.

Hiyama Kiyoteru = Robert: Kiyoteru is a co-worker of Meiko, and hates Miku for uh. Literally tearing off his arm a while back, resulting in him obtaining a gun arm. He’s flirty, and can be stubborn.

Nekomura Iroha = Lila Kitty: Pretty much cat. She’s childish and playful, and gullible to boot. She wants to be a journalist, and her hat is actually a robot, with the paws “sentient” through artificial intelligence.

Prima = Egoha: Prima is the object of Sweet Ann’s affection, and works as a model as well as a mechanic. She’s friends with Oliver, and likes spending money on frivolous things. Her ahoge, that big strand of hair? She can control that.

Some other characters who do not have references include Avanna (representing Poku), who is a satyr who is part of the poly ship with gakupo and yukari

Dream I have rn

One. There's two Peters (Blueberry and Pinky) are twin brothers waking in the cold raining block the sun talking in a conversation. Blueberry talk about his darling name Angel as Pinky look considered. Later, I was heading to the store buying item for my family wanted to leave but then the guys tease me using flirt almost try to hurt me as I run outside but one of them grab me no one call the police or anything. Suddenly someone kill the mean guys with the knife knowing it was Blueberry who come rescue me. I feel safe with him saw another one who looks like him. He introduced me to his twin brother Pinky as he wave shyly. I smile wave him back tell him about myself since it's nice to talk to him. After a while, Blueberry take me home as I got out the van and when he drive so my parents wasn't looking I go inside the house giving the bag to them as my grandma was so worried about me tho blame my mom for letting me go outside by myself. Suddenly the rain stopped Pinky wish he can have a girlfriend too as Blue take him to the bar help him find someone he loves. Pinky stare at the person who look just like me but a edgy looking. He decided to meet her. That edgy lady look at him with a glare as she stay still for a while. They both finally talk started to like each other. Blueberry was a happy proud brother.

Five years later

When me and Blueberry are engaged, Pinky and Egdy Angel had a emo child named Zeke tho my husband had a bad flashback of his past stayed away from a child but I suggest that emo child is pretty cute to me. Our daughter Heavenly isn't a hater or a bully as she hang out with her cousin Zeke. We become a best family ever.

Kirby OC lore post! This is gonna be long.

First!!! Is!! Simon!

They're a purple Batmaton born in Dreamland, around near... Amazing mirror lore time? He's very much a sona of myself, what can I say. They're very dramatic for comedic affect, yet he can change on the drop of a hat. He loves to give dramatic reactions but sometimes be can be super calm some days and some days he can be a burst of energy!! His ability is suplex, given to them at the ripe age of uhh?? (He forgor) and is powered up by negative emotions. Their pet is a chip! It's based of my current cat, Fred!

Their desgin changed so much! But I based it of their oldest one, back when I was in school.

Next, our buddy Blythe!

They are so simple yet so hard to draw for me (it's the pattern) and they changed a lot! They original were a stereotypical x reader characters I was obsessed reading with in middle school (qoutev, not Wattpad btw) and I loved their desgin when I looked back as a adult! Their lore is that they original, rumor has it in Dreamland, that they were human in a past life! The jury is still out. Their personality is very... Blank slate. Deadpan, not expressive, hard to read, and so on. Also the rumor is that they need glasses. Their ability is ESP!

Next is the lake Keeper!

They originally were a OC from waaay back too! From middle school, can you believe, with a different yet similar desgin. They are made of completely water and have a waddle dee disguise to go into the public as their job as a water deity is very classified! Originally, their hat was floppy, but I hated it, and the hat being static and rigid looks nice and adds a nice silhouette to her! She also attacks with water!

The desgin was based of transparent objects filled with water. And I believe the hat is straw hats?

Next is double round!!!!

Both OC's were old, they deserve the veterans discount lmao.

Princess Morrow was originally a princess of a now lost small kingdom of popstar ruled not too long ago! On the king and queens daughters 16th birthday, something horrible went wrong. Their daughter turned into a monstrosity, destroying and devouring everything in sight. Basically I liked the idea of a werewolf princess!! I still think she could write but not talk! I made her a awoofy, but before awoofy, it was the animal ability enemy.

Princess Morrow's color pallet and loose outfit inspiration was based on pastry cookie!

Wolfu. My dear sweet Wolfu. Wolfu was originally a part of a desgin of Simon, as I change my designs CONSTANTLY!!! I loved the maned wolf and overall wolf aesthetic. Wolfu is the token weird kid! They don't really have "lore" and more so its.... Wolfu is a wolf that doesn't like rules and is nice because it's fun to want to be

Wolfu is based on a maned wolf!

Maxie was also a old OC! She was originally SUPER EDGY like... SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG edgy. She also had a snapback but I cut it. She was also waaaaaay different yet similar. She transitioned and is also a cyborg similar to planet Robobot! They are the child of the waddle doo boss from return to Dreamland(recent addition) and became a cyborg as a result of working in Haltmann works company. They grew up well off but they are hard working. They also love alt and emo fashion! Their ability is Mech, not beam. Her robot hand, she never discloses how she got.

Her desgin remained the same, except for colors, species and the arm. The arm I changed to a clawed arm.

Altus is next!

I don't draw them too often but I should, nesp is like my favorite lil guy in Kirby. Anyways, Atlus lives isolated from everyone, and has a 'Nagito Kodema' complex. Because of it's isolation, they are very rude to people and act strangely. Their hat was a relic of when they were young. The scarab beetle is iridescent and acts like a lucky charm for Atlus. Atlus is a lore keeper, made because I love the Kirby lore and I thought it would be funny if there was a guy who got so lost into the Kirby lore in the actual universe.

I based them of hermits based in tarot cards and ego death stuff, cause I imaged it be like they already died once? Idk

My fave! Sulfur Knight!

Zer job is a reaper butterfly, similar to Morpho knight! I like to imagine they're coworkers lmao

She is mainly based on Sulfur butterfly's and the Spanish and Mexican depictions of death, with some similarities I saw being feminine presenting and having flowers and some also had versions of where they came in tragedy, which I based zem on mainly. I didn't like her having a mask, but I loved the idea of a sunhat, of being a peaceful entity, but in all actuality, much like Morpho, if you make zem angry over a long period of time, she will hate you FOREVER. She holds grudges!! Zer cape also acts as wings also, both in butterfly and puffball form! The scythe was for her weapon. I can't remember the exact inspiration for her weapon, sorry abt that! She took a long time to desgin, about... Maybe a week? I had zem in my head for a while.

SO LIKE I CAN FINALLY POST MY PJO OC SOMEWHERE AND SCREAM ABOUT HIM.

Their name is Mateo Luna (they/he) and he’s the son of Apollo. Their naturally blonde (head canon by litwafflehouse on Tik Tok!) but he hates his natural hair so he dyes it black. The kicker is that every morning it’s naturally blonde every morning so they spend hours dying it every day so no one finds out.

They’re Mexican American and lived with their mother until he was around 12. That’s the age they discovered they were a demigod and got sent to camp. They still went to school for a few years but he has beef with their dad for making his hair blonde when they definitely aren’ta blonde (he’s just trying to look edgy!). And it’s even worse because when they give their offerings at dinner to Apollo they always begs their dad to just let him keep his hair black. So one day they decides to get his dad’s attention by spray painting the Zeus statue at their private school. Needless to say he got kicked out…Will says he’s lucky that Zeus didn’t strike him down. Well Apollo eventually got the message and now they their half black half blonde hair lol. Anyways that’s all his lore for now 🥺🥺 he’s an emo Apollo kid and I love him so much. His best friend from camp is a daughter of Nike (my friend’s oc) and his love interest is an Aphrodite boy. Artemis is found of their brother’s child since they’re rebellious and like to spite Apollo on occasion while Apollo thinks it’s a phase. They’re cool with the hunters of Artemis, and Thalia is one of his good friends.

Game Bug (genderqueer, he/they/xe) - Hero version of Arcade Zombie, mixed a bit with Computer Scientist! He's professional in kicking plants' butts and gaming. One of the smarter zombies here, his superpowers include technological advancements, force field creation, teleportation, creation of sizzles/electricity (but not the same as Boogaloo), xe can also corrupt codes and hack into anything! their civilian alter-ego/true ID is Harris Ricci, he's of italian descent and a dedicated librarian in his free time. He LOVES sci-fi/fantasy books, video games and quantum physics. He's your typical introverted nerd but when you give xem time, xe'll grow on you.

High Tide (trans man, he/him) - Hero version of Surfer Zombie! a very sporty zombie with a love for water sports, especially surfing and high diving, a true beach boy. fights in flip-flops because he doesn't tolerate any other shoes. his powers include hydrokinesis and a bit of control over the air (since it contains H20 but he can mostly bend the sea breeze). his hydro powers are special though, he can bend any liquid, change the state of it (into either solid, liquid or gas state) and some more tricks he knows. He works as a part-time firefighter and lifeguard, but there he's known as your sweet Oliver Chandler. He's a himbo and a ray of sunshine that's it. he's lucky though! Neptuna and him are dating!

Dazzling Starr (demigirl, she/her) - The star of the show! A well-known glam musician who also happens to be a zombie hero. She's a multi-instrumentalist and can even play on weirdest instruments out there, but she mainly uses her beloved guitar to deliver some killer solos. Her powers include manipulation and generation of sounds. pretty much vanquishes plants with guitar riffs. she can also hypnotize them! yes! hypnotizing music! She can pretty much bend mf physics and cause a mini earthquake when she stomps her foot. a buff girl do not mess with her or else she'll squeak you like a toy. her hero name was originally just her stage name, but now she's a beloved hero! her civilian ID is Deborah, or Debbie, she has some spanish roots. and! she's married to Electric Boogaloo (who's a #1 husband and can't stop talking about how much he loves his wife) and has a teenage daughter!

Millisecond (cis male, he/him) - Interstellar Bounty Hunter and an Assassin, works on the space zombie black market (yes i know how this sounds like) offering assassination services. He has amazing aim, but his superpower is super-speed! He can run around 10,000km in a minute (forgive my european ass i dunno how to use miles) and not be seen, as he really can run up fast. knows every corner of space, and is wanted in like 40 galaxies. Dr. Zomboss hired him to get rid of the plant heroes, but instead he got adopted by the zombie heroes that are now his found family. His name is in fact Alasdair Diamantis (but gets called Atlas), as he has greek roots. He and Rustbolt are dating! they're boyfriends and very in love.

Beatrice "Betty" (cis female, she/her) - Dazzling Starr and Electric Boogaloo's teenage, 16 year old daughter, embodiment of 2000s emo/scene mixed with rock 'n' roll and disco. yes. She's one hell of an edgy teenager, she's a part of the team as she works as some sort of sidekick/beloved niece of the zombie heroes. she has superpowers, it was passed to her genetically! she has electricity + sound manipulation mixed, but she doesn't want to be a hero in future, she wishes to be a drummer and she's actually amazing at playing on the drums! she has a part-time job though, thank to Rustbolt, she babysits the Imps at Z-Tech factory. Says she's only nice to them because they pay her for babysitting them, but she has a soft spot for those little buggers. also a hardcore mlp fan
