Part 2: Natsu’s Beloved Scarf

Every Fairy Tail knows how much Natsu cherishes the scarf given to him by Igneel. It is his last physical connection to his beloved father. He is rarely seen without it. He was very upset when Zeref’s attacked caused the scarf to become black after protecting him. He loves the scarf beyond measure.

The scarf is made from Igneel’s fallen dragon scales (turning from red to white). While Natsu never gave much thought to how the scarf was made, it is obvious that Igneel can’t make a scarf for a human (being a huge dragon and all). Anna Heartfilia - celestial mage, teacher to the dragon slayers, and ancestor of Lucy - knit the scarf for Natsu.

The invisible string connects Natsu and Lucy beyond their own interactions. A part of Natsu past is connected to Lucy’s family 400 years ago. The scarf remains with him through thick and thin.

Additionally, Lucy knows how important it is to Natsu. She is often seen keeping the scarf safe and is the only one who Natus allows to use to the scarf (especially in the 100 year quest). Essentially, this demonstrates how a simple scarf connects Natsu and Lucy.

Trans moments of joy #1

I want to document some of the joyful moments during my transition, because I know there will be hard times. I already started it, sort of, with my post about coming out - one of the most joyful moments I've ever had -- but i also want to include little things. so here's the first one:

I purchased some silicone breast forms so that my clothes fit better, and I love them. Yesterday, while I was driving around, I went down a bumpy road and felt them jiggling. It's such a stupid thing, especially since I don't know how big my breasts will get after I start HRT, but it just made me insanely happy!

The little Things

The last few weeks have been so hard. The days have gone by, but I have not gone with them. Today I woke up early, unenthused for the day. I didn't plan to do anything, I wasn't gonna leave my bed. I decided to get up, wash my face, make breakfast, etc. Then I opened the curtains. My house has felt so dark, for months and weeks my emotions have made everything dull. The sun was shining, I enjoyed my breakfast and the sun on my clean face. I say all of this because for awhile I have been in a low state. I did something so small for myself that made me feel so amazing. Do something today, it doesn't have to be big, but do it for you. Its the little things.

I love that my love for horror movies comes from spending time with my grandma. we always share recommendations and have movie nights. and when I'm bored I can go through all the VHS tapes and DVDs, discovering new things to obess over. it feels like a treasure chest 🥰😊
