Zoro being just a little desperate for soft affection because people don't touch him gently. He's not something people handle with care or touch with careful intentions.
He's a swordsman
The first mate of the future pirate king and a god
A strawhat pirate
He doesn't mind it, because you can't miss something you don't really know, but sometimes he gets hints of it. Like Chopper taking care of his injuries or Robin's hands brushing against him as she hands him something. The others don't touch gently. They're pirates, liars, thieves and fighters.
It's hard to be gentle on the sea.
Luffy's too strong for his own good
Sanji's alway eager to pick a fight
Nami's not very familiar with gentleness herself
Usopp's too unsure
Franky doesn't trust himself
Brook doesn't think he's capable of it anymore
Zoro deserves gentle sometimes though, when he's more white bandages than tan skin or when he smells like blood rather than salt.
Sometimes he looks very breakable for how unbreakable he is.
There are times he looks soft, only with them.
When he lets himself wake up slowly, silver eye still cloudy with sleep and everything about him sleep ruffled and soft.
Or when he speaks with Chopper, letting his body loosen from a stricter hold and creating a welcoming atmosphere that always has Chopper climbing into his lap or dancing happily.
Always when he takes care of his swords, each movement done without too much thought after years of repetition. A critical eye looking them over before moving to the next, handled with a care that looks like it should be unnatural to a man like Zoro.
He goes sweet for them.
Looking as surprised as they do when he surges towards the gentle affection like he can't stop himself.
💙
Luffy throwing his arm around Zoro's shoulders, and touching, thoughtless and confident because he knows Zoro won't pull away. His fingers playing with earrings, petting at soft hair and brushing against skin.
Zoro can't help the little, protesting noise that slips out when it stops.
Luffy looks at him with a blank expression and observing eyes, the face he wears when he's serious about something. He returns his hand to the side of Zoro's neck and it's so careful, fingers caressing against his neck in little brushes and it has him melting.
Luffy's incredibly pleased because Zoro is such a warm, happy weight against his side, all loose limbed and practically purring.
He looks vulnerable and sleepy in a way that has a bubble of something growing in Luffy's chest. It threatens to choke him, his throat tight with it and his heart beating weird. He just keeps petting with confident but gentle touches.
Zoro buries his face in his shoulder and it knocks the wind out of his lungs. He wants to move, energy popping under his skin in happiness but he stays still. The arms he wraps around Zoro to drag him closer, half on his lap and still not close enough, are gentle.
💙
Sanji trying to figure out the best way to get Zoro back to the crew after a battle. Hovering because everywhere looks bruised and bloody, seriously it's like he tries to get cut up during his fights.
Finally getting him up enough that he can climb on Sanji's back and they'll try that way.
Zoro's lighter than he looks, they all know that but it's always a little surprising. He's quick on his feet, has used half the crew as spring boards for a push off in fights and he definitely wouldn't be able to do that so easily if he weighed what he looks.
He's a warm weight against Sanji's back and the cook can feel his thighs from where he's got his hands placed for support, they have a healthy layer of fat covering the muscle.
He's embarrassed by the pleased feeling he gets from that. The idea that Zoro is healthy and taken care of because of him is powerful. He's very proud of how the crew looks healthy and strong, nothing about them that suggests hunger or poor nutrition.
He brushes his thumb back and forth in a gentle way, briefly wishing he felt skin instead of fabric, before very quickly shoving that thought into a little box and placing it all the way to the back of his mind.
Zoro relaxes into him, body pressing heavier as he stops tensing up and his chin digging into Sanji's shoulder. He looks exhausted but his breathing has calmed and he almost looks like he could fall asleep.
Sanji just tugs him more securely against his back, desperately ignoring the way Zoro's legs tightens around his waist at the movement and how his chest pressing against Sanji's back has his nose itching. Zoro relaxes again and Sanji goes back to rubbing his thumbs back and forth, gentle and comforting.
💙
100% based on the ideas that:
Luffy just casually touches, hugs, climbs on, etc the crew whenever he wants because they're his.
Sanji is very proud that the crew looks healthy and strong, knowing it's because he's the one making their food.
Zoro being a strange type of touch starved that has him unconsciously giving off cat vibes of please pet me and I'm sorry if I get overwhelmed and bite.

Hi! you work is amazing, can i request a nsfw headcanon for Zoro, Law, Kid and Ace (i don't know what number of characters are your limit) being very sexual frustrated bc their partern doesn't want to have sex with them? They think there's something wrong with them as boyfriends but they're more calm after they overhears that S/O is just too nervous to do it due to how big are
Anon, I don't know how long it's been. I'm not gonna pretend to keep track of time anymore. I live in the Twilight Zone where everything is dated 2 weeks ago. I have taken your request and written the headcanons as little ficlets/drabbles. Thank you for the request!

If you were to tell the truth, you shouldn’t have drunk as much as you did.
If you were to tell the truth, you should be canoodling up to your boyfriend, thigh flushed against thigh, whispering lewd promises into his ear.
Instead, you were too busy avoiding the subject. Shame and embarrassment pulses through your veins, the same way the alcohol you gulped down your throat did. You’re thankful for the flush it brings to your cheeks. At least you can blame it on something other than yourself.
You felt his gaze on you all throughout dinner: hungry, starved, almost pleading.
There’s a dip at your stomach, one you can’t quite decipher–or you try not to. The truth was, your boyfriend was damn near irresistible. Wanting, or lack thereof, had never been the issue. The issue was that you–by all means–were a coward of a pirate. You never dreamed of the day you’d run away from a challenge but every time you came so close to giving in, to throwing caution to the wind, and everything be damned–if you split in half, then you’d split in half, and die in ecstasy–you always ended up running away.
You consider jumping ship–exposing yourself to the elements, or letting yourself fall into the depths of the ocean. Anything was preferable than openly admitting to your boyfriend your cowardice over what he might consider a trivial matter. Close to intoxication and close to tears, you turn to your best friend for advice.

Portgas D. Ace
He never thought he’d be lucky enough to be loved the way you love him. He never thought, not even in his wildest dreams, that he’d be allowed to love someone like you. You were always so warm, so kind, so easy to be around. Your laugh was the spark to light the fire in his heart day after day. He wanted nothing more than to return the favor, even if he felt he could never give you as much as you gave him.
He was never good with words. They always tumbled out of his mouth, in the wrong direction; too scratchy, too many sharp edges. He thought he was better with his hands. He wanted to show you how much he cared about you, how much he appreciated you–and how much he wanted you. Your body was soft, and pliable under his hot hands. Your kisses scattered goosebumps across his body every time. It seemed like you wanted him too, every time he’d grind against you while making out, every time his hands would grope your ass.
Yet you always stopped him before it got that far.
Ace slams his mug down on the table, beer sloshing over the mug’s lip and spilling over his hands. He bites down on his teeth, until his jaw hurts.
“This is ridiculous!” he hisses, eyes slightly unfocused as he glares across the table at Marco.
Marco in his infinitesimal amount of patience, casually throws back the remainder of his drink, tanned throat exposed. “You’re ridiculous,” he says, licking a corner of his lips where a drop of beer had collected.
Ace glares at Marco’s neck, wishing he could wrap his fingers around it and strangle him.
“How exactly am I ridiculous? What are you trying to say? Can you speak plainly for once?” Ace barks his questions–a metaphorical barrage of fists he tries to aim at Marco’s impudent face.
“I would,” Marco starts holding out his mug for it to be refilled. “If you’d let me get a word in. This is part of your problem.” Marco pauses, and raises a brow. Ace lights the tip of one index finger and contemplates tracing that questioning eyebrow to burn the hair right off. “You’re probably coming on way too strong.”
Ace groans. “Shut the fuck up,” he whines, as he leans over, elbows on the table. His face is hiding behind his unusually warm hands when your voice floats over to him; a siren at sea swimming in circles around his head.
“Honestly!” your voice is thin–embarrassed, and when he peeks through his fingers to look for you–he sees you quickly run a hand through your hair; a tell tale sign of your discomfort. “That’s not the case at all.”
There’s giggling at the table as the nurses crowd around you. He sees the redhead lean over, a mischievous grin on her face. “Aren’t you at least a little curious? You have been fooling around for months. It’s about time.”
You groan as you finish your drink–it was bright blue from where he sees it swirling in your glass. “Yes, but–” You cut yourself off to sigh before proceeding: “The problem isn’t that I don’t want to. I do,” you finish, cheeks aflame. “The problem is that...” You abandon your glass on the table to gesture with your hands, fingers splayed, a big space between your palms. “The problem is he’s–” your eyes grow wide. “So big!”
He is used to the heat of his own body–a sense of being under the sun even on the cloudiest day–but it still fears searing when your words finally sink in. A hook pulls at the pit of his stomach, threatening to bring him down, ship and all. He stands up abruptly. A drink spills, and he vaguely hears Marco saying something about decorum but he flips him off as he walks away.
All he can hear, and all he can see is you at that table, cheeks bright and your mouth that was too busy smiling at others instead of kissing him. Ace interrupts your little group talk, and you stand up stammering an excuse.
“I need to borrow y/n,” he says to the crowd, a big smile on his freckled face. “I saw a seagull and I need her to go look at it.”
It was the stupidest thing you had ever heard, but you still nod enthusiastically and allow him to lead you away. You’re in his familiar room aboard the ship, when you prepare to launch your interrogation. You don’t have time. He crashes his mouth against yours before you can speak. His hands are fiery as they travel up your back, underneath your shirt. As you gasp, he slips his soft tongue into your mouth, brushes it against yours. Suddenly, you’re pressed against the wall. He nips at your jaw, hot and wet kisses trailing behind him as he moves towards your neck. As he sucks on your pulse, so hard you are sure he’ll leave a mark behind, his hips start pressing into yours. You feel him hard under his pants, his cock teasing you; reminding you of what you had been so scared to face head on.
You moan when his hands slide away from your back and towards your chest. He kneads your breasts gently.
“If that’s what you’re so worried about,” he mumbles to the crook of your neck, pressing his hardened cock against your heated core. “You should have told me sooner.” He bites down on the soft flesh of your shoulder. You cry out, dig your nails into his back. He moans softly, hips never stopping. You feel yourself grow wetter every time he brushes against your sensitive nub just right.
“I’ll get you fired up enough,” he mumbles against your neck, licks up the column of it with the flat of his tongue. You feel the trail of saliva hot, then cold as the air hits it. There are goosebumps running across your body.
“You’re gonna be so wet,” he says almost in a whine against your ear. “Fitting me in won’t be a problem at all.”  His breath is hot as his lips brush the shell of your ear, and his fingers even hotter as he slips one hand between your legs. He presses up against your dripping slit, pushing your panties into you. “Get ready, babe. Here I come.”
Tumblr media
Eustass Kid
Kid was aware of  his limitations. He was not gentle, or soft. He could not grasp tiny little pieces of metal between his index finger and his thumb. He also knew what he was good at. Your aversion to his tactics of seduction made him feel almost incompetent. Almost. Because he knew there was no way his skills had grown rusty, or tattered. He was damn good at it. He was sure, after all, because he could feel your slick coating his fingers when he’d rifle through your folds. You’d lay squirming, and panting underneath him, face flushed, neck and chest wearing matching splotches of pink and reds.
The way you’d moan his name as you’d cum around his fingers, was enough for him to know you liked it. You’d cling to his broad back, fingernails scratching down lines on his skin. You wanted him. He knew that much. Then why did you keep running away? You had come so close to letting him go all the way. He had been there, angry red tip literally at your dripping entrance, before you balked and called the whole thing off.
Kid was many things, but he knew when ‘stop’ meant stop.
It didn’t mean he was happy about it.
He couldn’t take it out on you, and someone had to pay–so he made the crew his targets. They were easy pickings, and it helped ease his mood slightly; very very slightly. His large feet clank down the corridor, Killer by his side mumbling softly about his attitude. Kid considers telling him to ease himself off the ship, or to suck his dick if he’s so inclined to be on it and all over his business when he hears your voice around the corner.
“No no,” your voice is insistent. He stops just around the corner, and peeks around even when he feels Killer’s hand on his shoulder. Kid shrugs him off. “I mean, he’s already so big, like generally speaking!” you enthuse in a loud whisper, which Eustass finds isn’t a whisper at all. “But when we kiss…” you trail off, and shift your weight on the spot. The sight of you, wiggling shyly, eyes downcast is enough to pull a crooked smile out of him. “And, well I’ve seen it and I don’t think it’ll fit. That’s all I’m saying.”
He tries not to laugh. He tries really hard, but the barking laughter comes out anyway. It echoes in the corridor as he stomps towards you. Your eyes grow wide, and before you can stammer a greeting, he is picking you up.
“Let’s go,” he says as he throws you over his shoulder. You squeak, face growing hotter. He raises a hand and brings it down on your ass, the sound of a resounding slap filling your ears. He walks awkwardly, his stiffened cock between his legs demanding attention. In his bedroom, he tosses you on the bed. Your hands go out as he climbs over you. You try to press them against his barrel chest. “I gotta tell you,” he mumbles against your cheek. His tongue is hot as he licks up your face. “I’m not a liar.”
You shiver underneath him, and rub your legs together. His voice is gravely, and it scratches over your skin. You feel your panties growing wet.
“So I can’t say I’ll be gentle,” he speaks into your hair, fingers grasping the fabric of your shirt. He pulls, and buttons tear and scatter–flying across the room. You gasp as your skin is exposed to the cool air, and to Eustass’ heated gaze. He looks as if he has been starved for days, and he would want nothing more than to devour you whole, bones and all. When he drags his eyes away from your heaving chest, he meets your gaze and it takes your breath away. Kid licks his lips.  “Feel free to slap me or choke me if you need me to stop,” he drawls out of the corner of his crooked smile. “Although,” his smile grows slightly sinister, a smirk that makes your body grow cold and hot all at once. “I might be into that too.”

Trafalgar D. Law
He would sooner die than admit it. He would sooner bite his tongue, and choke on his blood than to admit the selfish side of him; how needy and desperate he can be for your touch, to feel satisfaction as he drowns inside you, buried to the hilt, just like he fantasizes about every night. Law would sooner die than to push you into doing something you're not comfortable with, and so he deals with his stiff little problem all on his own. For weeks, he furiously pumps his fist over his cock, neck strained, chest rising and falling as he tries to smother his own moans. No matter how vivid his imagination can be, no matter what scenario he can picture, it is never enough. His hand is too familiar; not soft enough, not warm enough, never wet enough no matter how many globs of spit he drops on the bulbous tip of his cock.
If he got into the habit of being honest with himself, Law would admit that honestly: he just wants to hear you fall apart as he pounds into you. He wants to see your tears cling to your curly lashes, and wants to see your bottom lip quiver as you struggle to take the full length of his cock.
He tries to reign in these thoughts as he swirls a gulp of whiskey around his mouth. He is embarrassingly at half mast under the table, Bepo chattering away at his elbow. His golden gaze takes in the shape of your shoulders from a distance. Penguin and Shachi are having a conversation about wanted posters, one they keep trying to enthusiastically drag him into. Law purposefully ignores them. Your face is enigmatic as you talk to Ikkaku and he strains his ears to hear you over his chatty crewmates.
“He’s scary,” you say, one palm slapping the table noisily. Your fingers are splayed, and your eyes wide. Law frowns at the sight and at your words. He doesn’t get to ponder over it further before the conversation starts  up again.
Ikkaku scoffs at you, and shakes her head as she pours rum into your shot glass. “I can sympathize,” she begins, although she wears a frown. “But then, why are you two dating again? I know the captain can be a little intimidating.”
You shake your head furiously, hair moving with your actions.
“That’s not what I meaaann,” you whine, cheeks flushed bright. Law scoffs. You were a terrible drinker. He did not understand why you insisted on the habit. “He’s not scary like that. His…” You stop and press your lips together, trying to think of how to phrase it better. You use your hand and point upwards, imitating a gesture Law uses a lot, but suddenly you point the finger down to the table. Ikkaku’s eyes slowly follow your actions. “Little Law is the scary one!”
You tell her, you’ve felt it before, as you sat on his lap, tongues brushing hotly against one another. You had felt it, hot and thick against your core, when his mouth was busy sucking on your nipples, making you so wet you’d grind desperately against him–anything for a form of release.
Ikkaku shrugs and throws back a shot of rum.
“Can’t relate!” she declares without an ounce of sympathy. Your mouth twists in a grimace, and you bang a fist on the table, ready to fight for your case when a hand grasps your wrist.
You look up and follow the arm to see the face of its owner. Law is frowning down at you, ears bright red. You swallow thickly. He leans down until his mouth hovers around your ear.
“Come with me right now if you don’t want me to make your clothes disappear in front of everyone,” he mumbles. You gasp as he brushes his nose against the shell of your ear. His thumb brushes the soft inside of your wrist. “There are much scarier things about me than the size of my dick.”
You feel his free arm wrap around your waist and he pulls you up from the chair into a standing position. You spin around in his arms, and gasp when he pulls you against him. His cock is stiff against your soft belly. One of his hands keeps you pressed tight against him, sitting on the dip of your back. His other hand still holds your wrist, tightly against his own chest. His face swoops towards yours, so close you can smell the whiskey off his breath.
“Like my lack of patience. Please,” he enthuses in a slow hiss. His breath is warm against your mouth, as he brushes his lips against yours. “Don’t make me repeat myself.”
Tumblr media
Roronoa Zoro
He has always been a man of discipline. He trains hard, and lives for battle. When he decided to become the strongest swordsman he gave himself up for a deadman and dead men don’t need or want.
At least, that’s what he tells himself at night, when you slip away from his body before he can smother the heat between you that consumes him by sliding inside your pussy.
Years by Luffy’s side had taught him patience and understanding. Still, he couldn’t understand you completely. He couldn’t understand why he could kiss you the way he kissed you–feverishly, as if he could taste you past your teeth and tongue. He couldn’t understand why he could touch you the way he did, how he’d slide his callused hands over your smooth skin, how you’d let him play with your nipples until you were whimpering under his touch, how you’d let him rub your clit until you were so wet he couldn’t stop thinking about the way you’d taste on his tongue. He especially couldn’t understand how happy you were to ride his thigh, to rub yourself on his muscle until you soaked right through his pants, or how sometimes that wasn’t enough for you and you’d straddle him, and rub against his hardened cock until you cried out his name. All of that but the moment he’d pump his cock, and lick his lips at the sight of your dripping pussy, you’d immediately press your hands against his lower belly to stop him.
You confuse him, and it infuriates him. He wants to understand you, and he wants to keep things simple. He wraps his lips around the mouth of the bottle of sake–a trusted, simple, and loyal friend. He takes a large swig, and then another as he sees Luffy, Chopper and Usopp doing some kind of cha cha line out of the corner of his eyes. Brook is singing a tune Zoro would rather not hear, and he leads the line enthusiastically laughing.
Franky and Robin sit together at the end of the table, their faces close together. Zoro blinks as he frowns, before drinking again. He sees Nami drag you towards Robin, and squeezes you in between her and Franky. Franky starts to protest but something you say makes him pause. Zoro feels his heart accelerate. He tries–concentrates–to shut out Luffy’s loud calls for more meat from Sanji, by leaning back on his chair. He closes his eyes, and crosses his arms over his chest.
He hears you pause, and it’s like he could feel your eyes on his skin–feel them rake over his arms and shoulders. You start to speak again, and suddenly, your little problem makes so much sense to him. You were scared of his size? Zoro tries not to smirk, and he stays still for so long he eventually does fall asleep. When he comes to, he catches you slipping away from dinner.
Zoro follows you quietly. He moves silently in your shadow, his gaze on you ravenous and seeking. You look so good from behind, he feels himself grow hard, stiffening in his underwear. He loves watching your hips sway, your juicy ass that stretches the fabric of your skirt. You reach the library, still not sensing him behind you. As you reach towards a bookshelf, a finger tracing the spine of an encyclopedic tome, Zoro slides up behind you. You gasp, startled at the sudden unexpected heat, but his fingers slide over the sides of your thighs and you immediately recognize the calluses.
You hum, and lean into his touch, as a warmth spreads throughout your body. “Zoro,” you breathe out with a trembling voice. “What are you doing here?”
He draws circles over your skin as he moves his hands forward towards the inside of your thighs. His breath tickles the nape of your neck. “What do you think?” he asks you. He takes in the scent of your soap, and drops a kiss with parted lips on the side of your neck. “Hunting you down since you’re a scared little rabbit.”
His mouth is hot and light against your skin as he drops feathery kisses over your exposed shoulders. “If you were so scared, you should have told me,” he mumbles against your shoulder, as he presses another kiss on the soft flesh there. His hands move slowly, up and down your inner thighs. His thumbs brush against your skin, each time higher towards the center of you. “Never pegged you for a coward,” he whispers against your ear. You tremble under his touch, the tip of his thumb brushing ever so slightly against your panties. You gasp, and spread your legs wider before you can stop yourself. “See?” he adds with a chuckle, one hand resting on the inside of your thigh to keep you from moving. His free hand moves to your clothed pussy. He rubs against it gently with his fingers. “I can be gentle. But only one time.” He nips at the top of your ear. You cry out in surprise as he adds pressure to his touch, rubbing over your panties on top of your clit. “Only this time.” You moan under his touch, and arch your back. You rest your head on his chest, and he nips at your exposed neck. You hear him groan against your ear when he sucks on your earlobe. “If you keep being like this, I’m not going to be able to go easy on you,” he tells you as you moan again. He feels your slick coating your panties, and it stays on his fingertips as he traces the outline of your slit. He captures your bottom lip in an upside down kiss for a slow and noisy suck. When he releases it with a soft smack, he licks your lips. “And whose fault would that be?”

drink from me
a sherry-laced conversation about thirst and running away. zosan | 2k | hurt/comfort
Being a coward isn’t as easy as one might think.
It’s juxtaposition in its own right; cowardice is, as defined, a lack of bravery— And yet Sanji supposes it takes bravery to be able to ditch everything you stand for. To turn tail and run. Bravery to bear upon your shoulders the disappointment of everybody who had ever believed in you.
He sighs deeply, tilting the bottle in his hand so that the dregs of liquor slosh within. This is why he doesn’t drink.
It’s relatively easy most days. To lock his past behind a set of double doors, bar the handles with a padlock and chain so he can pretend that everything he’s running from isn’t just three paces behind, snapping at his heels, starved and ready to eat him up whole. Alcohol slots the key back into place and twists it without his permission. Twists his heart until it aches.
He doesn’t know why he’d started. The bottle of sherry had sat, nondescript and guileless and half-full on the galley table after the night’s dessert, and Sanji had paused before he’d slowly wrapped his fingers around the neck of it and let his nails scrape against the dark glass.
The cork had popped almost too easily and here he is now, taffrail digging into his forearms as he takes a long drag from his cigarette and lets bitter smoke fill his lungs full to bursting. Blood orange coats the back of his tongue, cloyingly sweet, thick on the roof of his mouth— He’d made a layered trifle with cacao nibs and caramelised cream that had been slathered between slabs of boozy vanilla sponge, and the aftertaste clings to his teeth. Sanji peers down as what’s left of the sherry glimmers vaguely inside the bottle and fights the urge to chug the rest.
He could, if he really wanted to. He hardly drinks but it certainly doesn’t mean he can’t.
A soft scrape against wood catches his attention, barely perceptible. He fights to keep his spine from stiffening, fights to maintain his loose-limbed, easy demeanor; the liquid warmth in his veins helps some but not enough, and he’s halfway through another drag when near-silent footsteps stop just behind him.
Zoro’s haori shifts in the wind, palm loosely wrapped around the end of Wado’s hilt where she’s strapped alone to his hip. “Was wondering where you went,” he says easily, looking out over the ocean.
Sanji scoffs. It burns his throat more than the sherry did. “For someone built like that, you’re surprisingly quiet, marimo.”
The immediate urge to kick himself is something new. He rarely feels it— It appears often, don’t get him wrong, he just. Ignores it. It’s a little more difficult tonight. Built like that. The noise that escapes him is mirthless. What’s that even supposed to mean, huh? Alcohol’s always made him snappy and he does feel bad for once — But he’s tired, and the chores won’t do themselves.
“Make it quick, would you?” he mutters when Zoro still hasn’t replied, low and quiet in the still evening air as he curves down to dig the heel of his palm into his temple. “My spice jars are still all over the counter, and I have to mop the floor before I wash the dishes—”
“It’s done.”
Sanji blinks, before his eyes narrow and he turns his head to look at Zoro properly. “The dishes?”
“Everything.” The swordsman huffs when Sanji gives him a dubious look, gaze flicking over and away again as he rolls his eye. “Luffy asked me to clean up the galley. Said you needed a break.”
Well. The cook exhales, measured, and buries his face into the crook of his elbow. Taps his cig so that ash doesn’t fall into his hair where he’s holding it aloft above his head. “Tell him thanks, but I don’t.”
He clocks it out of his peripheral vision when Zoro smirks and waves a hand to gesture to his cigarette and his slouch and the glass bottle dangling against wood. “What’s this, then?”
I don’t know. Shop’s closed, please fuck off and come back tomorrow morning.
The other words that sit at the tip of Sanji’s tongue are far more scathing. He feels them, bites them back viciously before he can burn anyone other than himself. “If there’s a single thing out of place in there I’m gonna—”
“Kick my ass, I know, I know.” Zoro chuckles under his breath. “Don’t you get tired of saying the same things over and over again?”
“Maybe I wouldn’t have to if you didn’t constantly choose to be selectively deaf, moss-for-brains.”
The swordsman huffs another soft laugh, and conversation peters out after that. Sanji feels an itch building at the base of his skull, flickering just under his skin; it’s making him restless. He taps the bottle against the rail just to fill the silence. Zoro reaches a hand out and Sanji gives it to him easily, unthinkingly, watching and pretending he isn’t as the swordsman thumbs over the faded paper label that’s peeling at the corner.
Zoro’s hands are scarred, he notes. He knows this, of course, but he never gets tired of letting his gaze drift over tan skin and old scars, thin slivers of pearly tissue painted silver in the moonlight. A breeze ruffles his hair as Zoro finally drinks, and he’s distantly surprised to see that it’s a measured sip and not a swig like what it usually would have been.
Fucking hell. Sanji’s inhale shudders when he pushes himself up and stands straight, now-free hand wrapping around lacquered wood as he finishes his cigarette and tosses the butt over the side. He needs to stop thinking. He’s paying too much attention. There’s a pressure building behind his forehead and Zoro is an overwhelming presence beside him, unavoidable, stoic and staunch as ever, perfect posture, perfect honour, a sentinel with a pure white sword like some sort of— of hero from a storybook. Perfect perfect perfect.
It’s all building like a scream behind his lips, a river at a bottleneck, and he clenches his jaw to keep it in. Grits his teeth until he hears them creak because what would happen if he opened his mouth? Nothing good, he’s sure. Nothing anyone needs.
Sanji nearly startles when the bottle taps against his elbow. “Talk to me.”
“Nothing to say,” he replies immediately, taking a careless gulp and holding in a cough.
Zoro’s slow exhale feels like it shifts the wind itself. Their ship creaks gently. “You always have something to say, curls.”
“Look, you—” He cuts himself off, tempering his breath. “I’m tired, alright? So can you just get to the point?” Fuck, he needs another cigarette.
Maybe that’s the problem. He knows he’s the problem, sure, but Sanji suspects that he’s been running for so long that he’s forgotten how to walk. It’s grown into him like weeds wound through his ribs, the way he sees poison in water that’s perfectly clean, the way peace makes him more anxious than chaos does. He needs to stop running. He doesn’t know how.
Zoro pries the sherry from his fingers and it’s only then that he relaxes the death grip he’d unintentionally had, a shudder slipping over his shoulders. Zoro holds the bottle loosely between his scarred fingers and doesn’t drink.
The silence thickens. Static crackles within his bones.
Sanji doesn’t know why he starts talking. Doesn’t know why it feels like a dam breaking in his chest, but his mouth is open, and the words are emptying out. “I’m tired of looking over my shoulder for something that isn’t there. Luffy gave me something to run towards, for once, but—”
He doesn’t know how to say it’s not enough without sounding ungrateful, without being greedy. “Sometimes I think I could… consume every one of the Blues, and still want more,” he allows. “Need more.” His fingers lace together, and Sanji dips his head with a wry smile even as he looks at the endless expanse of sky in front of them. “I’m afraid I’ll drink the world and still come up dry.”
There is a thirst in him. Something different than what had wracked him for a month on that barren rock. Hunger he can handle; he eats just enough to stave it off and goes about his day. This, though— Sanji can’t help the way it buzzes in the back of his head and keeps him wound up like a coil of electrical wire. He kneads dough and whisks egg whites just to have something to do with his hands. He defaults to his usual barbs when he’s feeling ungrounded so he can kid himself into thinking he possesses some semblance of normality. His shoulders ache as he stares out over the sea and wonders what it’s like to hold so much and still, still, be so achingly empty.
The winds change, carding cool fingers through his hair.
“Drink from me,” Zoro says, and Sanji’s breath catches between his teeth.
His head snaps up to find Zoro already looking at him, face unreadable, elbows on the taffrail and bottle cupped in his hands. The swordsman looks serene, Sanji thinks. Gaze trained straight ahead, ever clear of his objectives as Wado gleams at his side, starlight in an ivory sheath.
“Drink from me,” he repeats. The words are solemn as they always are in moments like these, the liminal space just after dusk but before true night, as his eyes shift over to Sanji and lock in place. “I won’t let you go thirsty again.”
Sanji’s mouth dries. It’s hard not to feel pinned as Zoro looks at him; the weight of his gaze is almost physically tangible, like a familiar green coat settling over his shoulders. That’s the thing about Zoro— For all Sanji jokes about him having plant life in his skull, the swordsman has a penchant for dropping absolutely earth-shaking statements without even seeming to think about them at all. The cook swallows once, twice, tries to find his words as his lips part and loses them as soon as he takes his next breath.
He doesn’t know if he’ll ever stop feeling like a ticking time bomb. But as Zoro’s lashes flutter and he looks away, Sanji feels something in him settle. The relentless buzz that always seems to sit just beneath his skin soothes out into a quiet hum.
Maybe part of it’s how Zoro’s scarred and still perfect. Untouchable. Sanji couldn’t hurt him even if he tried, even if he blows apart.
His fingers wrap, unthinking, around the neck of the bottle as it’s pushed back into his hand, the pressure of Zoro’s touch lingering until he’s sure that Sanji has a good grip. The swordsman’s boots brush softly across the planks as he turns to leave and he’s halfway to the stairs before Sanji speaks.
“Marimo.”
He knows Zoro turns without even looking. “Hm?”
“Did Luffy really ask you to clean up the galley?”
A pause, before Zoro starts walking again. “Get some sleep, cook. I’ll take the rest of your watch.”
The silence he leaves in his wake is honey-thick. First watch is Sanji’s shift, it always is— He cleans up the galley and stays awake until Zoro comes to take over.
(The galley is clean. His watch is covered. His mind is quiet.
For once, he can’t find himself another reason to stay.)

The sherry holds no evidence of them ever having shared it. Sanji lifts the tinted glass and there’s no trace of Zoro, no proof that his mouth had ever been where Sanji’s is— None of the candied orange and rosemary from the duck they’d had for dinner, gamey and blood-sweet.
I won’t let you go thirsty again.
Sanji tastes it still, gentle in the back of his throat as he drains the bottle.

How sweet it is to be loved by them part 1
I've changed somethings it's now abo and going to be monster trio. Zoro and sanji are married alredy when they meet Luffy.
Luffy watch a blond head bob in the water as they drew closer to the shore. Luffy stood up in the boat and waved his arm excitedly. He was sure he'd have to wait till the grandline before meeting a mermaid! Yet thire they were clear as day.
“Hi!” Luffy called out to them.
“Luffy!” Koby whispered. “Stop, they could be dangerous!” Silly Koby, how was he supposed to become a marine if he was such a coward?
The mermaid stopped swimming and turned towards them before waving back and swimming towards them. He placed his arms against the top of their tiny boat, a net sling over one shoulder. His long blonde hair was the color of gold, yet far more precious, Luffy longed to run his fingers threw it. The shulder length hair was wet from the water curling at the ends, his blue eyes were the same color where the sky met the sea, he had curly eyebrows peeking out from his wet bangs. He had on two mismatched gold earrings, one was tear drop shaped and one had a blue heart dangling from its gold chain. His scent hit Luffy hard, spicy as Vaca atolada, yet salty and fresh like the crashing waves of the seas, a soft sugary drink hit the tip of his tongue allowing him to know they were an omega… no not AN omega but HIS omega
“Hello, what can I do for you?” The pretty mermaid omega asked.
“Are you a mermaid?” Luffy asked him, he was far too pretty not to be.
“Oh my Luffy! You can't ask people if they're mermaids!” Koby hissed at him as the mermaid laughed.
“No unfortunately I'm not,” He kicked his legs up willing his toes. “See no tail,”
“Hmm,” Luffy wasn't convinced but then again he could be hiding. After all, if he didn't want anyone to know he'd never say and deny the truth. “Then if you're not a mermaid what are you?”
“I'm a chef, I suppose a traveling chef now. I pick up work where I can,” He replied. “Sanji by the way, Luffy and who's your friend?”
“I'm Koby,”
“A chef!?” Luffy stomach growled causing the mermaid Sanji to laugh again.
“Come on you sound hungry, join me for breakfast. My house boat is just over there,” Sanji pointed towards the shore and a larger boat parked by the dock.
Luffy and Koby paddled their way over to Sanji's house boat. The blonde omega was climbing up into his home when they arrived. His long muscular legs and thighs were warped in a brightly colored swim trunks with fishes on them. He was slim with a tiny waist, his shoulders were broader than his own but he looked as if he was still growing into his body. He hung the net of crabs up to dry.
“Let me get dressed and I'll start breakfast. The galley is right through this door and to the left,” Sanji spoke, opening said door before turning right.
Luffy dragged Koby with him to the door and to the left. He took a seat at the small table egar to eat. Luffy could smell hints of anthoer alpha, but it was faded. The galley was warm and cozy, the cabinets painted a soft blue, the cupushioens on the chairs and benches, and darker blue. On the wall above his head was an empty sword rack. Thire were photos that littered the walls before Luffy could proprly look. Sanji returned wearing black slacks and a blue long sleve button-up, his long hair pulled back.
“Whata ya makein!” Luffy asked, sniffing the air. Whatever it was, it smelled like meat and bread.
“Cachorro com Ovo,” Sanji replied, rolling his sleeves up. Luffy watched as more skin was once more reviled.
“Mmmm I haven't had that in forever!” Luffy was excited. He loved food more than almost anything else. He was so happy his mate was a cook.
“What is it?” Koby asked.
“Dog with egg,” Luffy exspined. “Thire no dog, it's just bread with a meat stew with fried egg and tomatoes! It's like one of the few things Gramps knows how to make,” Sometimes after training, if Luffy did well, Gramps would make food as a reward.

Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4 - Part 6 - Part 7 - Part 8
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The yelling from outside the kitchen got louder, brook, Nami and Sanji were standing by the door ready for a fight while Chopper and Usopp kept you back, you knew something would go wrong but trusted your friends and boyfriends to deal with it. "Hay get back here you coward" Luffy's voice rings out in anger as the others seem to run around the ship someone stopping at the kitchen door "He took Shark Submerge III" Franky yelled form the other side of the door making your heart drop, he did escape and leave, in a way your happy he's not on the sunny anymore but now you have no idea where he is or if he'll come back. "What do we do?" you manage to speak up Sanji looking behind him to see your scared state, he walked over and pulls you into him "We'll find him, he won't hurt you again" The cook whispers rubbing your upper back. The door to the kitchen opens everyone jumping slightly while Brook almost pulls his sword out only stopping when he see's its Zoro, his face is full of anger and the sword at his side is held in a death like grip.
Nami sighs and puts her staff behind her back before turning to you "Do you know where he might have gone?" her voice is soft but you can tell she's worried. "Probably back home" you pull away from Sanji to look at the navigator then to Zoro "Lets go then, Luffy's ready for a fight and i want this guy dead" The swordsman's voice snarls, you can see he wants blood and revenge, Nami nods and runs off to find a log post that leads to your island while Usopp and Chopper walk out to help the others. Brook looks over at Zoro then to you which makes you a little nervous "Y/N, you never said what company he owns" he sounded concerned and you didn't know why "Urm... a biology robotics company" you shrug earning a nod from Brook "I have a feeling we'll be in for a fight when we get there then" he smiles before walking out the room leaving You, Sanji and Zoro inside. "So he's smart who the hell cares" Zoro groans after the skeleton walking towards you two. "Did i say something wrong?" you ask only for Sanji to pull you in closer and kiss your forehead "No of course not love" the cook whispers trying to comfort you. Zoro places a hand on your cheek looking down at you with a slightly angry expression, you know its not directed at you but you wish he didn't look at you like that. "It doesn't matter what he does, i won't let him touch you" You smile up at his words and place your hand on his leaning into his touch.
The island you arrived at wasn't too big but it was covered in houses other than an area to the east that was just trees as far as you could see, thats where your ex lived, away form everyone in a big fancy house. You were told to stay in the kitchen while the others worked on getting the ship fixed or getting ready to fight. Chopper stayed with you and he could tell by your bouncing leg that you were anxious, during the ride over you had time to think about everything but you were still torn between two desertions, either stay on the ship where its safe or go with your crew and end this once and for all. Franky, Usopp, Nami and Chopper where staying behind to fix up the ship and protect you while Luffy, Robin, Brook, Sanji and Zoro were heading out to the house in the woods. You finally stood Chopper grabbing your hand scared of what your going to do "I just want to see" you sigh looking down at the doctors concerned face "You should stay in here, where its safe" He tried to make you sit back down but you don't instead you pull away heading to the door.
Opening the kitchen door and stepping out with chopper at your heals your met with a sight worse than when you left. The houses were small but most of them looked disheveled, the streets where full of people either trying to do washing or sleeping on the hard cold floor. The market you once loved going too was no longer there instead there was a big metal factory blowing out dark smoke from the top. It made you sick and your mind went to your mother, you haven't thought about her safety in a long time but you hoped she ok. No matter how bad she made you feel you never wanted her to live like this. "What happened?" you whisper as chopper takes your hand looking from you to the island "So it wasn't always like this?" you nod trying to comprehend what your seeing "Y/n my love what are you doing out here" Sanji runs up the stairs and over to you taking your hand and walking you back into the kitchen, you don't stop him not really wanting to look at your home anymore. Chopper closes the door as you sit down Sanji kneeling in front of you "Please love just stay here" he begs making you look at him instead of the floor.
You sigh and place your hand on his cheek "Im sorry i just wanted to see but... thats not home, it was bad but never that bad" Sanji stands and places a kiss on your head as the door opens. "We're heading off" Zoro's voice calls out before walking over to you and Sanji "Please be safe" you stand up hugging the two "Please come back to me" your so scared of losing them, you know their strong and capable but your ex is crazy and out of control. "We will, i promise you" Sanji pulls away form your hug, his eyes move form yours to your lips, it's been so long since he kissed you there he wants to lean down and kiss you but the fear of rejection hold him back. You smile and run your hand across his cheek leaning up and lightly placing your lips on his, he doesn't hesitate to kiss back, its gentle but you can tell he's holding back so you give him the push he needs. Running your hand up into his hair you grip a little and lean closer while licking his lower lip, he shoves his tongue into your mouth as his hand goes behind your neck tilting your head back slightly, so he can kiss deeper. The cooks moan catches Zoro's attention pulling away to see you two kissing and soon pulling away form each other panting for air "I love you" Sanji smiles still breathless from a long needed kiss "I love you too honey"
You turn to Zoro with a smile managing to catch your breath "I love you hunk" your words bring a smile to the swordsman face as he leans into kiss your lips, placing light kisses over and over again "I love you baby" he whispers in between kisses before he fully connects his lips with yours, your other hand goes behind his head as his tongue slips into your mouth, his hand around you pulls you in tighter to his chest as you both kiss, his tongue frantically explores your mouth missing the feeling of your touch and kiss. Pulling away for air you try and catch your breath while he trails kisses along your jaw line and down your neck. "We won't be long" Sanji leans down placing a kiss on your cheek before pulling away along with Zoro who nods at you before leaving with Sanji "Chopper, Take good care of them" Zoro smiles down to the doctor who stands up straight and nods with an "AI".
The walk through the woods was along one but the cobble path they took made it easy to find their way to the house. It was massive, almost 4 floors and quite wide, It was surrounded by a high brick wall with some gaps between some of the bricks. The lights inside were on, and they could see someone standing in the big window facing them, Zoro's eyes locked onto him as he gripped his swords. About to run forward something heavy landed behind them, they didn't have time to turn and look when more large metal casings landed around them and across the open field in front of the house, the casings cracked open with dark steam coming from them turning into big bulky robots with yellow glowing eyes. Luffy's smile grew wider at the sight before him, he loved it but also wanted to break them. One of the robots pointed its fist at the captain before launching it at him, Luffy stood his ground and managed to stop the fist holding it in his hands as it stopped moving "Lets go" Luffy yells launching the fist back at the robot who falls back into the floor but it wasn't damaged, it just got back up and reattached its hands. The fight started but Zoro and Sanji were more focused on getting through the robots and making it to the house and Robin was more than happy to lend a hand to help them.
Kicking up into the air thanks to Robins hand, Sanji kicked through the air making it over the wall and to the house just as Zoro got through the robots and sliced the metal door down. Running across the lawn to the house Sanji raises his foot and kicks the door in raveling a very minimalist looking house with wide open spaces. The two stepped in only to be electrocuted, it didn't stop until Sanji managed to kick at one of the senses and Zoro sliced the ceiling where the electricity was coming from, they both pant from the pain spiking through the muscle, but they headed in any way, Sanji fixing his hair and placing a cigarette his mouth "Why don't you come out, I'd like a word" Sanji calls out lighting his cigarette and taking a puff. "I doubt you only want to talk" the mans voice echoed off the walls making it unclear where he was but Zoro closed his eye hoping to sense where the man is "Your right... i want you dead" the swordsman speaks with venom on his tongue "Don't bother swordsman, my technology protects me form your Haki" the man laughs only for Zoro to smiles and pulls his sword back before swinging at the kitchen, the slash sends a wave through it cause dishes and windows to break, a man yells out and a chair in the living room falls over.
Sanji jumps up and kicks down on the chair only for the person on it to move away just in time. They couldn't see him but Zoro managed to make out a slight aura, the same one he sensed around you all the time. Sanji pushes the chair away and stays on his guard unable to see or sense the man "You hurt my love and now your going to pay, so show yourself" the cooks words get more and more heated as he spoke "Fuck you two, they deserved it" The man yells out as metal spikes shoot out of the wall, Sanji just manages to dodge as one comes near his face while Zoro easily cuts through the spikes "I gave them a roof over their heads, i fed them and" Zoro swung his swords as Sanji joined him both managing to hit the guy, but he managed to get away again seeming to hide quite well even after being hit. "You abused them, you don't ever abuse a partner, you never make them feel worthless" Sanji yells out his face full of anger standing back-to-back with Zoro "They are worthless don't you get it, They lived in a rundown shack before they met me , Y/n should be at my feet" The man yells loud enough to give away his position, Zoro slices at air managing to hit your ex and cut his torso, he lost control of his devil fruit powers for a minute become visible as Sanji lite his foot on fire and kicked the man into the wall. "Don't you ever say their name" Zoro growls only for the man to start laughing.
Pulling out a needle your ex stabs it into his torso, the bleeding stopping and the wound being covered by something white and sticky. "I know i can't take you two in a fight but i'm sure they can" the man yells as the house starts to shake a little as Zoro slashes his swords at the man who turns invisible again and dodge to the side as the furniture around them changes turning into robots that attack them. Sanji bites hard on his cigarette before kicking the robots and melting whatever they are made out of but it doesn't stop them form coming at him, while Zoro keeps trying to go after your ex only for the robots or spikes to get in his way. "Get out of my way" Zoro yells in frustration, he wanted this man dead now, he wanted you to feel safe again.
The ticking clock was starting to get to you, it was the only sound in the quiet kitchen, Franky was still fixing the damage a makeshift bomb did to your shared room while Nami and Usopp were keeping look, Chopper sat next to you holding your hand, you could tell he was worried. "I've made up my mind" you finally speak getting the reindeer's attention as you let go of his hand and turn to him "You've been great Chopper and i know i don't deserve to ask for anything but i need help" You gulp kneeling on the floor to be eye level with the doctor "What?" Chopper looks at you confused not understanding what your talking about. "Zoro and Sanji are right, i'm strong and brave and no one not even my ex can take that away from me but i need to prove that to myself... i can't stay here being scared. If i can't fight by stuck up ex than how am i going to help Luffy become king of the pirates?" you ramble a bit but you hope he will understand "Y/N, what do you mean?" Chopper deep down knew what you wanted but didn't want to believe it, you take the doctors hands in yours with a small smile "I know the others will stop me so i need your help getting off the sunny, i can do the rest on my own" Chopper jumps a little in shock thinking it over for a minute "Please Chopper, i need to do this" you grip his hands a little more making him look you in the eyes, the fire and determination that have been gone for so long is back and Chopper can't help but nod squeezing your hands back.

Hello. I hope you’re doing well ❤️ I had a few questions (and if you’ve already answered any of them then I’ll just continue scrolling down your blog, as I’ve been doing).
Here ya go!
1. What do you think people mainly get wrong about Usopp? Like, what is a common misconception.
2. How would you describe Usopp’s relationship with each of his crewmates, in so few words (if possible)? I feel like people forget that the Strawhats are friends too.
Just wanted to hear your take.
Kind regards,
Anon.
You sound so polite, I love it 😭💖 Sending you kisses and hugs for being so sweet 🥰 (Sorry I didn't reply sooner! Busy life)
1 - I feel like the most common one I've seen around general audience/most shonen lovers (I like shonen too, but you know what I mean. You know what type of people I'm referring to) is that they take Usopp's character pretty superficially and instead of reading between the lines (very huge, separated, obvious and easy to read lines, though) they just accept what is verbally said... "He's a coward" / "He can't fight" / "He's selfish" / "He's just funny".
Most people have this misconseption about Usopp's fighting style because they assume that, because it is a long range fighting style, he isn't as powerful as others. When it is not true, by the way. They also deem Usopp to be a coward when, actually? He is just an average person? Like I KNOW the whole point is that he works on his "cowardice" but they just took an average boy with no prior experience of fighting and being a pirate to directly... Fight and being a pirate. Everybody would react like that. "He's not strong and he is a coward" first of all, wrong, second of all, you would be like that too.
And saying he is selfish? Or that he doesn't care about the crew or the people around him? I genuinely do not understand how some people can read him that way... Do you all not know how to... Analyse basic characters now? Another thing people get wrong is thinking Usopp isn't hot/wouldn't pull any girls as if he wasn't the only one with a canon girlfriend waiting for him, but alright.
2 - This is such a good question, actually 😭 I love you for this, anon. My favorite thing ever is talking about Usopp,,, I appreciate this.
Luffy: I love his dynamic with Luffy because despite being his captain, it is obvious that they are best friends. They have the same young/playful mindset and it doesn't feel, like... A job at all? Don't get me wrong, they're all a family, but their dynamic feels way more teen-like? More silly? They're stupid together. Usopp being the voice of the reason vs Luffy being extremely chaotic is my favorite thing. They feel very organic. And then there's this layer of jealousy from Usopp's side and the fact that I think Luffy will never be able to fully understand Usopp's insecurities, but somehow they will always find understanding and support on each other. Usopp is loyal to his captain and all but it feels more of a "I follow him because I consciously trust in him" than a "blind devotion" type of thing. And I adore that. Also, Luffy saw potential on Usopp from the very beginning and it melts my heart. Plus! They're both beetle/bugs lovers! The sillies <33
Zoro: They're one of the most hilarious duos because you would expect Zoro to absolutely hate being around somebody like Usopp, and yet he lets the guy do whatever he wants with him?? Zoro might be Luffy's enabler first and foremost but we forget he is even more permissive with Usopp sometimes and it is the funniest thing. I love it when they have tiny little soft scenes together because Zoro genuinely enjoys Usopp's company and I believe Usopp thinks Zoro's cool despite always being done with him being so dramatic and impulsive when fighting. I feel like Usopp feels safe around him but not only physically. I think he knows Zoro can read him like a book and after what happened in Water 7? I believe now even more than they're closer. Sometimes opening up to your captain is hard so maybe the first mate whom you have an intimate but odd relationship works even better.
Nami: My absolute beloveds. They're both on the same page when it comes to being "cowards" because their fighting styles are different from the rest and they're not built different like most of the crew. They feel so organic and genuine too! They just get each other. They're mischivious little shits together. And when they are not on the same page, it's so funny how comfortable they are around each other to just yell at the other. I think Nami gets Usopp when it comes to feeling weak and out of place but not quite, because she is always trying to make a path for herself instead of being afraid to do so? She's used to fighting on her own and standing up for herself even if it's scary but Usopp isn't, and I think she gets it but Usopp doesn't think she does because she is extremely valuable to the crew, obviously, and Usopp doesn't feel like he is. It's a dynamic with constant support and understanding and so so much fun together because they're most of the time on the same page. That's why they work so well!! They're not normal at all but the whole "we're the only normal people here" dynamic is incredible.
Sanji: If I start talking about them I think I will never finish. I think I've left pretty clear that my favorite thing about their dynamic is that, despite arguing all the time because their personalities are very different (something people often forget like. They argue A LOT. And it's SO funny. They're both the softest and the most annoying thing to each other--) they're always there for each other. Their dynamic is easy to summarize in "they joined basically at the same time, right after the romance trio" / "they do what the other can't do". They both have different types of self-hatred and insecurities that bring Sanji to understand Usopp on a deep level that I don't think others are able to share. It is obvious that Sanji has a clear preference for Usopp when it comes to the guys of the crew and he does treat him differently, not because he sees him as weak but because he sees himself in him. Their relationship is something so personal because I truly believe they're the ones that understand each other the most. I am SO angry they barely have scenes together now,,, Or that Usopp wasn't in WCI,,, Waiting for Elbaf to parallel Water 7 so fucking bad. I have more things to say about them but-- My whole blog is literally about that.
Vivi (very necessary to include her): People don't talk at all about their dynamic and it is so offensive to me because they're so funny??? Vivi's little quirk about forgetting to mention dangerous stuff and Usopp being oh so done with her is the funniest thing. Drum island was certainly incredible for these two. I truly wanted to see more of them,,, I think that if Vivi had stayed with them, she would've understood Usopp pretty well. Screaming for help when nobody can hear you? Feeling oh so weak in comparison to the world around you? She would've been on Sanji's team kicking Luffy and trying hard to keep them from saying any stupid things. More of Usopp and Vivi,,, More of Usopp and Vivi,,, I miss them :( They were so cute :(
Chopper: They're so cute and silly together,, But not only that! They support each other so so much!!! Maybe it's because they're both from the "coward trio" but I just adore how they're pretty much always together. Chopper has this whole thing at first about feeling like a monster, but Usopp finds his abilities so awesome and,, It melts my heart whenever we see them interacting. They're not only hilarious and support each other but they're always finding reassurance on the other and I love it. Not to mention the whole Sogeking thing, too! And Chopper believing Usopp's lies! They feel sooo much like brothers, imo, it's adorable. Chopper might be one of Sogeking's biggest fans but Usopp is certainly Chopper's number 1 fan too.
Robin: I think if I start talking about them I might end up crying, thanks. But. But. But I adore them. They leave the crew pretty much at the same time and yet Usopp does everything to help them save her and bring her back. I think Robin reads him pretty well and can see so much bravery in him that Usopp can't see... While Usopp, despite being a bit weirded out at first by her, sees how gentle and caring and lovely Robin is. And how cool she is, too! Also, they're both big nerds, and I love that. The fact that he did everything he could for her in Enies Lobby despite having left the crew must've meant the world for her. And it's also the whole thing about her wanting to give up on life? I think Usopp, even if it's not on the same level, can kind of relate to that? It is not Sanji/Robin type of bond (which I fucking adore, by the way) but it is pretty personal. Also, hilarious dynamic because Robin is always telling dark jokes and Usopp gets scared easily and I just adore it.
Franky: They mean so much to me. My beloveds. We don't talk enough about Franky regretting having hurt Usopp when they first met and the guilt still haunting him. We don't talk about it enough. We should. Franky was there for Usopp on his most vulnerable moment and I think Franky's personality and masculinity mixed with his pretty emotional side is SO good for Usopp. Because it teaches him to be braver and stronger and himself, and it lets himself feel freely. They have so many things in common and I am from the "Franky father figure" team because their bond looks so,,, So much like that. Usopp getting excited for every little thing Franky makes and Franky quite obviously showing off because he knows he likes it. I think Franky is the one Usopp goes to when there's any problem in his life and,,, It is just so sweet that they always trust each other SO much. It is not only admiration but a deep, close bond. Still not over Franky wanting to overcompensate for what he did to Usopp, though, but- But they're okay now, I swear.
Brook: The sillies!!!!!!! We don't have THAT much of them in comparison to the other characters but every time they interact it is always so funny. Idk how I would describe their dynamic other than it is hilarious,, But I also think we deserve more scenes of them interacting seriously. Brook spent 50 years on his own and Usopp's fear in Water 7/Enies Lobby of being left alone too is so,,, I think Usopp would want to hear more of Brook and make him feel at home because if just the thought of being alone scares him so much, he can't even imagine what it was like for Brook. Usopp is somebody who seems to want to glue the crew together as much as possible and mostly uses fun/positivity (even if fake) to do so, and Brook does the same with music. Like- The fear of being alone. Idkk. Going insane now, actually.
Jinbe: I feel like everybody's relationship with Jinbe is very gentle and silly because he is adapting to the crew's dynamic and getting used to their shenanigans. So no matter what, it is hilarious and sweet. I actually,,, Want to see Jinbe's reaction to Sogeking,,, A lot,,, It'd be SO funny. Anyway- They haven't had much of a break to be together (please please let them be silly post-egghead) (honestly I'd kill for a silly filler arc, ngl...) but Jinbe is extremely understanding and mature and imo he sees a lot of potential and bravery in Usopp. And I'd say Usopp finds comfort on Jinbe but who wouldn't? I think it'd be funny to see a bit more of teasing/playful interactions with them because I love Usopp being stupid and Jinbe being all confused at first but having fun.

Luffy or Zoro for prompt 5?
Zoro x prompt 5: guys furrowing their brow when kissing passionately
Tumblr media
thank you for requesting this! I decided to go with Zoro for this one cause the prompts just makes me think about someone who finally releases all the unspoken emotions through the kiss. I hope this meets your expectations, please do let me know what you think (anonymously of course!). enjoy!
gender neutral! usual one piece violence, mention of injuries and worries of death?
ffeel free to reblog, like, and leave a comment. i would very much appreciate it. if you enjoy my works, click here to read more or buy me a coffee.- from this event.
That night, a strange feeling insinuated in Zoro's heart. He has never felt like this before, his heart was the only muscle that he was able to move - and not even properly. His heart rate was slower than usual despite the adrenaline that previously rushed through his veins and pumped his muscles, breathing becoming unexpectedly complicated. A paralysing force was holding him to the ground, as his eyes scanned the scene looking for you. He heard Nami screaming Chopper's name, crying for help and saying something about your injury. And since then, time stopped for Zoro. He could not think straight anymore, he was unable to react, to continue fighting. This was by far the toughest battle you guys encountered, and although Zoro knew you were strong, he realised the enemies standing in front of you were definitely playing in a different league.
Fear. That was the unexplainable feeling that completely overwhelmed Zoro, who felt like a massive stone was now compressing his chest, making it ignore the lump in his throat, making it harder to fight. His thoughts were clouded as memories of the two of you just flash before his eyes, thinking about all the times he could have.. but didn't. The worst case scenarios start filling Zoro's head, thinking about how he lost the love of his life without even confessing, because he was such a coward when it came to sentiments - so much that he's now terrified he might have lost something he never had.
Just in time to save Zoro's from a critical hit that his opponent (who was being completely ignored by the swords man) was about to lend on him, you used your powers to protect Zoro, sending your enemy flying meters away from where you were standing.
"What the hell?!" you shout at Zoro, grabbing his shoulders and shaking him lightly; you never saw him so defenceless in a battle, so unresponsive.
Shaking his head, Zoro finally came back to his senses. It took him sometime to realise what had just happened - that you were real, you were there and you were safe, stronger then ever. His eyes quickly scanned your figure, noticing the bandage that Chopper put on your shoulder and the several cuts on your face. You were all covered in blood, a probably both yours and of your enemy's - but to Zoro, you never looked more beautiful.
Dropping his swords to the ground in an unusual, careless manner, Zoro quickly cupped your cheeks and pulled you in into a desperate, frantic kiss. He instinctively furrowed his brow as an unexpected outburst of different little emotions overwhelm him all at once; fear, relief, love, joy.
You slowly pulled away from the kiss, a soft smile forming on your lips. You took a second to admire his beauty, surprised by the way in which Zoro finally chose to make his move.
"I can't believe we shared our first kiss in a battle ground." you laughed, hearing a loud explosion happening just behind your back.

sanuso headcannons
highkey sadder than my zolu ones
Tumblr media
both are bi with a tendency towards women. both are attracted to men, but neither thought they would actually date a guy
usopp and kaya never really end up together at the end of the journey, the sea changed that village liar too much
sanji was always pushed around as a kid for being the soft one. the vinsmoke brothers laughed in his face when he mentioned to reiju that he might like boys and girls
usopp and sanji didn't really get close until after the whole arlong experience. honestly, usopp thought sanji was a pompous asshole even after the whole bartie incident and sanji thought usopp was a coward who shouldn't be on the seas
after the fight with arlong, usopp came to appreciate sanji's loyalty and sanji came to appreciate his wits
after retrieving nami, the crew talks a little about their homes in east blue, leaving sanji as an outcast from north blue
it was during a late night with usopp coming in for a midnight snack after watch that sanji mentions his vinsmoke past. he doesnt offer much detail, but more hints that his childhood was cruel with siblings and a father who hated everything about him.
"i don't know why im telling you this" "it's because no one will believe the liar"
since then, the two became a little closer and usopp moved his mini workshop into the galley. often they work in comfortable silence, enjoying the others' presence. no words are needed between the two, but they become dependent on the others' sanity
it was somewhere between entering the grandline and recruiting chopper that the two begin to date
during alabasta, Mr. Prince becomes the later inspiration for Sogeking. Usopp admires the persona that Mr. Prince represents and it was only natural to model his courage and bravery after Sanji
sanji loves going shopping for groceries with the sniper, usopp knows a surprising amount of rare spices and herbs
unlike luffy and zoro, the two are much much much more subtle about their relationship, keeping it under wraps. its not until late that nami and robin figure it out
after sanji is shocked by eneru, almost dying, usopp really realizes that maybe he shouldnt have taken those quiet nights on merry for granted. it was during that last night of celebrations that the two hid briefly away in merry, sharing a kiss and getting caught by robin's wandering eyes
their relationship often is spent in quiet moments in the galley and subtle signs like favorite foods or quick inventions for the kitchen
usopp fighting luffy and leaving the crew tore an instant rift in their relationship; "do i mean nothing to you?"
still, sanji found usopp after the fight and took care of him, cooking him food and not letting him starve on the street. they decided to cut off the relationship before it began... better for them to move on with their dreams than cause leftover pain
sanji's heart just about stopped when he saw sogeking and hearing that funny deep voice of his made him just about cry
after enies lobby, the two got back together, never quite repaired, but willing to heal those wounds
they reveal their relationship in the first few nights on the brand new sunny go
thriller bark was a whirlwind of an adventure and sanji couldn't be more proud of usopp's victory over perona
once kuma separated the crew, the two worked extremely hard to become stronger not only for the crew, but for each other. sanji going to kamabakka kingdom and eventually talking to iva-chan honestly made sanji question himself even more
usopp worked extra hard to turn into the man he imagined himself to be. working to be muscular and strong at least in appearance... and becoming more brave than he was before
reuniting in sabody was short and rushed... it wasn't until they settled in fishman island that they two actually got a chance to be alone.
seeing fishman island reminded usopp how small he really is in the world. sanji's bright eyes looking at the bubbles below them reminded him of home and east blue, but also of the uncertainty of the tides
however, the rose colored glasses shattered once sanji practically died from seeing mermaids. this left usopp unsure about his own position in their relationship, feeling ugly, inadequet, and undesireable
usopp ends it with sanji shortly after that with no explaination. he refused to talk to sanji unless it was needed. he ended up taking a backseat in the crew. they weren't the same quiet teenages that would sit in the galley anymore. this was the new world, they needed to grow up
usopp spend punk hazaard and the interlude of dressrosa not speaking to sanji, unless needed. their fight is a partial reason why the crew splits up to pursue different goals
it isn't until after sanji goes missing back to the vinsmokes that usopp reconsiders his stance. when he hears the news all he could think of is that innocent sanji back in east blue, talking about his disowned family back in north blue
after they retrieve sanji from wholecake and practically declare war on the world, all usopp can do is hug the cook and apologize for everything
the two end up giving it a second chance, restarting as "new people" in the form of wano
and that's all for now, honestly, my hope is that they end up going back to east blue together, owning the baratie and visiting syrup village... I think usopp would love the balance between the sea and home... but who knows with these two. I love their relationship so much, I feel like its so real and so traumatic. these two are the most emotional of the straw hats, in my opinion. lot of trauma here
I absolutely can't wait to see the upcoming arcs and hopefully a little more sanuso <3

King And Queen Of The Pirates
Bounty! Straw Hat Luffy And Aya Becomes Known To The World!,
Aya groaned as she opened her eyes. Her head felt like it was going to split in two. She felt like death. She sighed as she recalled what had happened. Defeating Arlong, the villagers threw a huge party in celebration, drinking and eating a lot of food, running away from Sanji when he asked her to dance with him. Aya blushed, mentally kicking herself. Why didn't she just dance with him! Why was she such a coward at these sorts of things!? Kissing Usopp. Aya's eyes widen as she remembered the feeling of his lips pressed against hers. Fireworks were booming and bursting in bright colors as they were thundering in the sky. Did it really happen or was it a dream? But it felt so real though.
Aya slowly sat up, in which she instantly regretted. She covered her mouth and quickly got up, slamming open the door, running outside on the deck. She saw Sanji in front of her. He smiled as soon as he saw her.
"There she is! Rise and shine, beautiful!"
"Outta the way!" Aya quickly pushed the lovesick forlorn cook to the side and ran over to the side of the ship. She hurled the last remaining contents from lasts nights party over the railings. She wiped her mouth with her hand. Why is it always carrots? She doesn't even like them. Aya heard footsteps approaching her and she turned her head to see Sanji placing a glass of water on the railing as he stood beside her.
"I'd figure that you would wake up like this. Here, this is the best thing for a hangover." He slid the glass over to her. Aya took it and drank a few sips, feeling the cool liquid wash down her throat.
"Thanks." She smiled, softly up at him.
"Don't mention it." Sanji replied and smiled back.
"Hey, Aya!" Aya jumped, startled, when she heard Usopp's voice. She looked down to see him waving back up at her. Aya slowly waved back, a little confused. Strange. He was a lot more outgoing than his usual self this morning. Normally, he was a lot more timid and soft spoken.
Usopp was sitting on the deck, working on some of his special pellets. Nami was getting the morning paper as one of Morgan's messenger seagulls flapped on board. Zoro was laying on the deck on his back, not too far away from the group. From the corner of her eye, Aya saw Luffy slowly creeping towards the tangerines, from Bellemere's orchard, that Nami had planted on top of the ship. Aya walked down the stairs, meeting up with the rest of the crew.
"Well, look who decide to finally wake up." Nami smiled.
"How long was I out?" Aya asked.
"It's already noon." Zoro replied. Aya's mouth dropped a little as she looked at him in surprise. She practically slept half the day away! She turned her head back to Usopp who was still tinkering with his equipment and walked over to him. Usopp tensed up as he heard her footsteps coming closer. Oh crap, what do I do?! What do I say to her!? Does she even remember what happened last night?!
"Hey, Usopp, whatcha working on?" Usopp blinked as he broke out of train of thoughts. His eyes widen as he saw Aya's face in front of his, leaning over him.
"Just some special technique stars." Usopp told her as he tried to focus anywhere but her eyes.
"Oh, okay, cool!" Aya smiled. Usopp felt his heart beating much more faster. Should he bring up that they kissed? No, definitely not in front of the others. That's too embarrassing. They would never let him live it down. But, why wasn't she saying anything about it? Aya blinked as she turned her head, looking at him confused. Usopp sighed when he realized that Aya didn't remember what had happen.
"Usopp, is there something wrong?" Aya asked, a little concerned when she saw his face drop a little. The sniper's eyes widen and he quickly looked at her.
"N-No! It's nothing really! I was just thinking of something really stupid. Don't worry about it!" Usopp tried to reassure her. Aya frowned, not believing him. He was hiding something. Did something really did happen last night and she didn't know about it?
"Usopp, tell me the truth. Last night, during the party, did something really happen? Was it a dream or did we really kiss-" Yes, we did. Is what he really wanted to tell her. Usopp's eyes widen, but before he could say anything Nami interrupted them. The two turned their heads looking at the navigator who had an angry scowl on her face, yelling at the messenger bird.
"You raised your prices again? That's a little steep, don't you think? Raise your prices again and I'll stop paying." Nami said, paying for the paper. The bird quickly nodded it's head and flew away.
"What's the big deal? It's just one paper." Usopp replied, ignoring Aya's question.
"Just one paper? I buy these every day." Nami told him.
"Yeah, but there's no need to save every last beli so you can buy back your village from Arlong, you know? You can finally stop obsessing about money." Usopp pointed out.
"You're so stupid! Now that all that stuff is over, I'm saving money for me now. I'm not going to become one of those pirates who can't even afford to dress out!" Nami shouted.
"Calm down, I'm in the middle of developing my special Tabasco star!" Usopp hissed.
"An eyeful of this will make any man cry." Just as he was to pour the hot sauce into the pellet, Luffy smacked into him making Usopp lose his concentration. The tabasco dropped into his eyes. Usopp screamed in pain. His felt like they were on fire, and he rolled around on the deck. Luffy sat up, pouting.
"Aw, come on! I just want one-" He whined.
"No! This is Nami's tangerine orchard and I won't let anyone lay a finger on it!" Sanji shouted. He turned to her smiling at her with hearts in his eyes. "Nami, can you see how well I'm protecting your trees!"
"Yes, you're doing very well." Nami smiled as she continued to read her paper.
"Sanji's getting used. That poor bastard." Zoro murmured.
"I only want one tangerine, just give it to me! You're so mean!" Luffy grumbled angrily.
"No!" The cook shouted back.
"The world's sure is a turbulent place. They just had another coup d'état in Vira." she read out loud.
As Nami was continuing to read the paper, two pages fell out of it and fell on the deck. Luffy looked down at the pages, wondering what they were.
"What's that?" He asked.
"WHAT?!" Everyone shouted all at once, in shock.
"Alright, guys! We're wanted criminals!" Luffy exclaimed, happily.
"Wanted dead or alive. $30,000,000 million belis?!" Usopp exclaimed.
"That's a whole lot of belis!" Luffy grinned, proudly.
"Check it out, I'll be seen all over the world!" Usopp smiled as he held up Luffy's wanted poster. Sanji rushed over to him.
"What?! They put long nose in but left me out!? Where are you? I don't see you anywhere, you're not there!" He shouted. Usopp chuckled as he pointed behind Luffy to show him standing behind him. It was the back of the sniper's head.
"It's the back of your head. It's not so great." Sanji grumbled.
"Aw, don't be so glum. You don't have to be a captain to get your picture on one of these things." Usopp replied. Sanji's eyes widen, surprised.
"Is that true?!" He shouted.
"Yeah, just work really hard!" Usopp said, while Sanji looked steamed by his remark.
"Hey, Aya's got one too!" Nami said as she held up Aya's wanted poster as well. Aya took it from her, looking at it. Everyone inched closer to get a better look as well.
"Hey, why do you have a high bounty than me?! It should be the same!" Luffy frowned.
"I guess you'll just have to work harder next time!" Aya laughed.
"There's more..." Zoro said, calmly.
Everyone saw that Aya's bounty which had $30,000,001. But, instead of dead or alive, it was marked alive.
"Alive? That's unusual." Nami murmured confused. "I wonder why."
"Hey, it's no big deal. I was a former Marine. They probably want to give me "fair trial" before sending me to the firing squad for execution." Aya explained. Usopp's eyes widen.
"F-Firing squad?!" He sputtered, nervously.
"Come to think of it, why did you join the Marines?" Sanji asked her.
"Yeah, we hardly anything about you or Luffy. Why did you choose different paths?" Nami asked as well.
"This is boring." Luffy walked away from the group, and hopped onto the ship's figurehead, staring out at the sea.
"Luffy, wait! We want to know!" Nami called out to the straw hat captain. But, he ignored her.
"Okay, okay, okay. If I tell you, will you get off my case about it." Aya said to the three crew mates. Nami, Zoro, and Usopp all nodded their heads, eagerly waiting to hear the two's backstory. Aya sighed. "As you know, Luffy and I didn't really have anyone growing up. Just Shanks and his crew and a few people on the island. We don't know if our parents are still alive or dead. But, I'm just going to assume that they're dead."
"Why's that?" Nami asked.
"Well, we've never heard anything from them. Never received any letters or visits. As far as I'm concerned, they're dead to me." Aya told them.
"So who decided who should be captain?" Sanji asked.
"We gambled on that with my pirate coin. Luffy betted on heads, I said tails. I lost, simple as that." Aya told him. The three mouths dropped a little in disbelief as they looked at her stunned. All this time, Aya could've been captain instead of Luffy? Fate was really strange, indeed.
"So, why did you join the Marines?" Usopp asked her.
"It wasn't by choice. I was forced to join. I only learned what I needed to know to survive out here. Just before my promotion, I used this as an distraction and took the chance to escape by jumping off the wall from the district that I was assigned at, stole a small rowboat and met up with Luffy a few days later. And here we are." Aya finished as she explained.
"Just how high were you in the ranks?" Nami asked her.
"It doesn't matter now." Aya replied.
"Fair enough, but is this going to be a problem later on? Do you still have ties with the Marines?" Zoro questioned her. Aya shook her head, looking at him.
"Like I said before, It was never my choice to join. I never wanted to begin with. So, no, I don't." she told him.
"If we're done. Let's go to the Grand Line!" Luffy shouted.
"Yet again you don't know how grim our situation really is! This means all of our lives will be in constant danger!" Nami shouted at him.
"Isn't it already?" Aya replied. Nami sighed.
"Okay, this is not time to be relaxing in the East Blue."
Zoro leaned back against the railings thinking to himself while the others were talking about on what to do next. $30,000,000 belis...with that amount I bet that headquarters has taken action. Not to mention that there will be bounty hunters to deal with.
Sanji headed towards the kitchen to start cooking up lunch. Zoro went back to take a nap, Nami was continuing to read her paper, Luffy, Ussop and Aya were talking together when Aya spotted a ship slowly sailing in front of them.
"Hey, doesn't that ship look familiar?" Aya asked. Luffy and Usopp both saw the ship with Marine sails as it sailed towards them at full speed. The ship was in rough shape. It had holes and rips on the sails.
"Looks like they've just came out of battle. That thing barely floats." Luffy replied.
"That's a real shame. Putting scrap ships in the sea." Usopp said as well. The group saw a familiar face as the Marine lieutenant Iron Fist Fullbody .
"This is not a scrap ship! Are you guys blind?! Have you forgotten the face of Iron Fist Fullbody!" The Marine shouted, furiously.
"Name doesn't ring a bell." Aya smirked. The Marine narrowed his eyes at her.
"You bitch."
"Oh yeah, you're that Marine guy from before! Are you stranded? Need some help?" Luffy asked, now realizing who he was.
"Quit fooling around. Our meeting spells the end for you! Monkey D. Luffy and Monkey D. Aya, you're under arrest!" The Marine shouted as he held up Luffy's and Aya's wanted posters.
"Yep, that's me alright!" Luffy grinned.
"And the back of my head!" Usopp add in as well.
"It says dead or alive," The Marine made a smug evil smirk.
"Yeah, but mine says alive." Aya replied.
"It doesn't say how much alive to bring you back." He remarked.
"You bastard." Aya gritted her teeth as she glared at him. She was already getting annoyed by this man.
"Now, take aim men!" Fullbody signaled his men to aim the cannons at the Merry.
"What's all that noise, huh?" Zoro murmured to himself as he woke up from his nap. He got up and headed over to the port side to see what was going on.
"I guess they're going to shoot." Luffy replied.
"They're aiming right at us!" Usopp screamed.
"I got this! Just leave to me!" Luffy grinned.
"Why don't you let me handle this, Luffy?" Zoro pushed Luffy away handing him to Usopp who then pulled the straw hat next to him, holding Luffy back.
"Yeah, relax. You just stay back here." The sniper replied.
"Whoa, hey!-" Luffy complained.
"Your story ends here!" The Lieutenant fired off a cannon at Zoro. The cannon ball was heading straight at him. Zoro pulled out his white sword and sliced it in half as it sailed to the other
side of the ship, and into the sea.
"Whoa, that's cool!" Luffy exclaimed.
"That was awesome!" Aya shouted, impressed.
"That's impossible!" The Marine stammered in shock. He stepped back. Sanji was in the kitchen when he heard the explosion coming from outside. He frowned as he stopped what he was doing.
"Damn it, what's all that commotion going on?" Sanji questioned. He headed towards the door and walked out.
"I was trying to take a nap." Zoro growled as he narrowed his eyes at the Marine lieutenant.
"There's lots more where that came from! FIRE!" Fullbody shouted.
"This is bad, real bad." Luffy replied.
"What's bad?!" Usopp said nervously as he stepped back. The cannon backfired and exploded as it tried to fire another cannon ball.
"The cannon had cracks on it." Luffy explained.
"Oh, that is bad." Usopp replied.
"You insolent little brats! Never mock a former Marine and Lieutenant! We'll just have to go hand to hand!" The Marine growled as he jumped off from the ship and landed on the Merry. "Men, follow me!" He ordered his soldiers, who also jumped off as well, following him.
"Your heads are mine!" Fullbody shouted as he tried to attack Luffy and Aya. The soldiers tried to attack them as well but Zoro and Usopp fought against them, keeping the soldiers away from the two twins.
"Gum Gum Barrel!" Luffy punched the Marine, knocking him back. Aya landed a hard punch in the lieutenant's face, sending him flying into the side of the ship. As the Marine was about to get up, his eyes widen as he saw Sanji standing over him with a dark glare in his eyes.
"You got a lot of balls, tough guy. Having a fight during lunch, I should kill you!" The cook shouted. "Unless you made a reservation, I'll have to ask you to leave."
"Y-YOU?!" Fullbody screamed as he crawled away from him. His soldiers ran away, defeated, seeing that they were overpowered. They jumped overboard from the Merry and Fullbody quickly followed after them, screaming in terror as well.
"Guess he's done." Sanji replied.
"He was all talk." Aya said.
"Come on you guys, can you keep it down? Honestly, I can't even sit and read a paper!" Nami shouted.
"Nami, Aya! I finished preparing you a delicious meal!" Sanji smiled as he ran over to the two girls.
"Ooh! I can't wait!" Nami squealed joyfully. Sanji turned to Aya. "I also made your favorite too, Aya. A strawberry parfait!"
"I can't wait!" Aya smiled.
"That sounds great! What about us?!" Luffy shouted.
The news of Luffy and Aya's bounties began to spread fast like wildfire all throughout the sea, reaching from island to island. On one particular island, two pirates were on lookout when they spotted something coming up on the shore.
"What's that?" One of them questioned.
"Let me see." The other took the telescope and looked into it. His eyes widen in fear seeing that it was Hawk-eye Mihawk. The two pirates backed away as the warlord approached them.
"Why are you here?! Answer me, Hawk Eye!" One of the pirates demanded.
"Just calm down. Where is your leader? My business is with him." Hawk-eye said, calmly. "Camping out on an island. What a carefree man."
Through the deep forest jungle of the island, was Red Haired Shanks and his crew. One of the lookouts scrambled towards them, falling in front of Shanks. The captain placed a mug filled with rum down for him and the crew member quickly gulped it down. "B-Boss!" He stammered as he pointed behind him. "H-Hawk Eye!"
Shanks looked up to see the Pirate warlord with the other lookout pirate, who backed away from him as Hawk-Eye walked over to him. Shanks smirked.
"Hey there, Hawk Eye. For what do I owe the pleasure? Have you come to fight me? Cause you know I'm not feeling so good at the moment."
"Now that you've lost your left arm, I have no intention of settling the score." Hawk-Eye said to him and pulled out the two wanted posters of Luffy and Aya, showing it to Shanks and his crew. "I recently bumped into a couple of interesting pirates. Seeing them reminded me of a story that you used to tell. A story about a boy and girl. Two strange kids from a small village? Sound familiar?" Shank's eyes widen in shock.
"N-No way!" Yasopp stammered, shocked to see Luffy's and Aya's poster as well. Then he saw the back of Usopp's head behind Luffy in the poster. "I don't believe it. Is that Usopp? My boy is with them!"
"Luffy, Aya, they made it." Shanks smiled. He looked up at the pirate warlord in front of him. "Alright then Hawk Eye, in that case I'm afraid I can't let you just leave not now."
"Hawk Eye, drink up! Go on! Tilt it back! It's a celebration!" The red-haired pirate urged Hawk-Eye to drink.
"Why are you hungover?" Hawk-Eye asked.
"Oh, n-no way! Not anymore! Drink, drink, drink! Drink it that's it!" Shanks brushed him off with his hand. He stood up and shouted at the top of his lungs. "EVERYBODY! LET'S GET DRUNK!"
"Yeah, but wait, boss. I thought you said that you felt like crap because you drank too much last night?" One of his crew members replied.
"Don't be stupid. I can't not drink on a joyous day, like today!" Shanks said, happily.
"But the sun's still high." Hawk-Eye said.
"Don't sweat it! Time to party!" Shanks shouted.
Back on the Going Merry, the Straw Hats were gathered around while Nami was looking at a map. "We're getting closer. We've almost made to the Grand Line. It looks like the only way into it is here. Through a verse mountain." Nami told them.
"What a pain. There's got to be some way around that thing." Zoro sighed.
"There's not. From what the geezer told me, that's the only place to enter it." Sanji pointed out.
"How come?" Usopp asked.
"Cause it's really dangerous." Sanji replied.
"Yeah, but how come?!" Usopp insisted.
"I told you everything that I know Geez!" Sanji shouted.
"See the reason-" Nami started to speak when Luffy interrupted her.
"Hey, I got an idea! Why don't we just sail straight into it!?" He grinned.
"Are you really that clueless?" Nami said to him in disbelief, frowning.
"My way's sounds a lot fun. Plus, it's feels way better to just dive right into it, ya know?" Luffy said.
"Ugh, talking to you drives me completely insane!" Nami shouted at him.
"First off, we need to stop at an island. Time to pick up some meat! Need meat!" Luffy shouted, ignoring her. Nami pointed on the map to an island not to far from where they were.
"There's a famous city on this island, known as Loguetown." She explained.
"Loguetown? Why is it famous? They got delicious meat?" Luffy asked.
"I'm pretty sure I've heard of it before." Zoro said. "It's the city of the beginning and the end."
"Loguetown is where the former king of the pirates, Gol D. Roger was born and killed at." Aya said. Everyone looked at her, quietly. Luffy's eyes widen in surprise.
"That's where the king of the pirates died?" He asked, thinking to himself.
"Well?" Nami asked him. Luffy smiled.
"Yeah, let's do it." He told them. "This was the man who had the one piece. Everything the world has to offer. I need to see where he was born and executed at."
As everyone went off to do their own thing, Aya quickly grabbed Usopp by his wrist, just before he left. "Hey, what are you-" Aya quickly slammed her hand on Usopp's mouth and she dragged him away leading him down into the crew cabin. It was much more quieter away from the others so they wouldn't hear them.
"Okay, now that we're along tell me the truth." She replied. Usopp shifted his gaze away from hers, fidgeting with his hands, nervously. "You've been acting strange all day. One minute you're much happier when you saw me then the next your withdrawn and twiddling your fingers . So, just spit it out."
Usopp looked back at her, looking into Aya's eyes. He gulped and took in a deep breath and slowly nodded his head. "We did." He replied, making a nervous sheepish smile on his face. Aya's eyes widen, and she felt her getting hotter. Usopp began to grow more nervous by her quietness.
"You don't have to say anything. If you don't want to talk about this, it's fine. We can just forget that it ever happened! I mean, you have better options, way better than me." He told her. Aya looked back at him.
"But what if I told you that I didn't want to?" Aya spoke to him. Usopp's eyes widened. "What if I told that you mean something to me." Usopp rubbed his head, thinking of what to say. Well, what could he say after that? After she just poured her heart out to him like that.
"oh, wow, um, I wasn't expecting that." He laughed softly and hummed to himself. He felt Aya take his hands, holding them in hers.
"If you want, we can see where this goes. I don't know what will happen, but I do know one thing, I like you." Aya told him. Both of their hearts were beating faster in each other's chest, like it was going to burst out.
"If you're fine with this. Then, okay, let's do it." Usopp told her. "We can still be friends if it doesn't work out, right?"
"Of course! Nothing is going to become between us!" Aya smiled. "Now, we just have to figure out how to break the news to the others."
"Do we really have to?" Usopp asked. "I think Sanji and Zoro already know that something is up between us. I don't want them to kick my ass over this."
"Well, everyone's going to find out eventually." Aya told him.
"True." Usopp sighed. "Let's just get this over with."
"Don't worry, I'll protect you." Aya teased him. She pulled Usopp with her as the two headed up to the deck.
In a dark dimly lit room illuminated by celestial stars and moon patterns, an old woman was sitting in a chair front of a table draped in a dark purple cloth with crystal ball sitting in the center. In front of her was Aya's wanted poster as she stared down at it, with an unnerving smirk. She made a low chuckle.
"I have a feeling that we'll be meeting very soon. I wonder how this is going to play out?"

✨ playing Truth or Dare with One Piece characters
a/n: been thinking about how i once smooched a dozen people in one night because of a Truth or Dare game so yeah maybe this is loosely based on true event, maybe it isn't. either way it's a fun scenario – what category are you in? <( ̄︶ ̄)>
Tumblr media
those who take the opportunity to find out who you‘re crushing on (hoping it’s them)
❀ Sabo, Ace, Corazon, Yamato, Roger, Shanks, Usopp, Boa, Bartolomeo, Buggy
those who just want to find out what dirty secret everyone has so they can press them in the future if needed
❀ Marco, Nami, Black Maria, Kid, Cavendish, Lucci, Hina
those who hope for a kiss and get all embarrassed when it really happens, dragging you away from the eyes of everyone so they can kiss you in private – over and over again
❀ Sanji, Katakuri, Corazon, Yamato, Boa, Paulie, Sengoku, Buggy, Ace
those who hope for a kiss and shamelessly eat you up in front of everyone, chuckling when they draw out a soft moan from you, your blushed cheeks their reward
❀ Zoro, Shanks, Who’s Who, Thatch, Franky, Rayleigh, Roger, Denjiro, Iceburg, Garp
those who come up with Dares that will either increase your bounty to yonko levels if you actually fulfill them or send you straight to ER (maybe both)
❀ Luffy, Kid, Killer, Sabo, Bartolomeo
those who pretend that they don’t want to play but are really invested actually, trying hard not to gasp out loud every time anything happens
❀ King, Law, Smoker, X Drake, Buggy
those who get everyone drunk so things will escalate faster and harder, sparing no one (not even themselves)
❀ Zoro, Queen, Killer, Izou, Gaban
those who do Dares only, not risking that anyone can find out even one (1) thing about them
❀ Denjiro, Kanjuro, Law, Benn, Mihawk, X Drake
those who choose Truths only, making everyone regret the questions they asked immediately because half of the answers make everyone in the room accidental accomplices
❀ Robin, Izou, Doflamingo, Crocodile, Hina
those who dare their crush to tell the person they like something dirty, only to forget how to breathe when they bend down to them and whisper dirty little things in their ear
❀ Roger, Franky, Sanji, Shanks, Oden
those who are the ones whispering, never letting a chance slip to fluster their crush (because how many more hints should they throw at them until they get the fucking memo)
❀ Robin, Rayleigh, Zoro, Thatch, Mihawk, also Oden
those who get banned from playing because all the ask for is seeing panties (i’m daring you to show them some, cowards)
❀ Brook, Kin’emon
those who are too drunk to function but are the life of the party that way as soon as they enter their UwU phase, demanding kisses from everyone
❀ Kaido (baby girl)

Soft Zoro brought to you today by greyskyflowers
Yes, hello. I have decided that I will not rest until the world has more soft Zoro.
I'll start with this.
Zoro is not soft.
For the sake of this I'm going to run with the whole tiger vibes Zoro thing.
Tigers are friend shaped. They have the cutest little ears and they're so pretty that I just want to squish their little faces up and call them baby. It's a tragedy that I will not be able to do this. It's also a tragedy that if I ever get a chance to squish a tiger's little face up and call it baby that I will die happy as soon as I try to do so.
I love when I see videos of caretakers for wildlife being reunited with the animals they once helped take care of. Not zoos, the perserves and sanctuaries and stuff like that.
I love it.
But...
Tigers are wild animals. I would not encourage anyone to go up to a tiger, squish it's little face and call it baby. Even those people who have the great relationship with them are alway a misstep away from being a chew toy.
To me, this is Zoro. This is what I want people to get from my stuff about soft Zoro or submissive Zoro or whatever else I spit out on here.
Soft is not weak. Submissive is not weak. Allowing yourself to be weak, is not a weakness.
A tiger is not any less of a tiger because it allows someone it knows and loves to pet it. It will take your fucking arm off if it wants to. It will kill you and then go take a nap.
Zoro is terrifying. He's strong and incredibly talented and he adapts to his environment very quickly. Him and Luffy should honestly scare the absolute shit out of people.
Plus he was a bounty hunter, and the demon stuff or whatever that is, I bet Zoro can be uncomfortable to be around. He probably has that predator vibe to him, gives you the feeling that something big and scary is watching you. Peacefully, for now, but that can very easily change.
I love the idea that Zoro is brutal and bloodthirsty and unhinged during fights.
I love the idea that he's intimidating and unnerving if you don't know him very well.
I love the idea that Zoro is none of those things with the crew.
I like him having a place where he was be relaxed, soft, open, and 100% accepted as he is.
So yeah, I want to see him napping in little puppy piles with the crew. I want to see him letting himself relax around them. I want him to let himself experience the beauty of loving someone enough to allow yourself to be vulnerable around them. I want him baring his throat and back and belly to them, comparable to a animal rolling over to show trust. A tiger showing it's belly for it's favorite humans.
Does that make him any less terrifying? Fuck no.
It should actually make him more terrifying. He is not a mindless violent entity, he is fully aware of everything and chooses to absolutely fuck people up.
There's always an awareness that he's letting them see him when he's soft. He is not the one powerless in a situation like that. At any moment he could snap at all of them and he probably has. I can very easily see him building up those walls again when someone does something stupid. Leaving the crew, fighting Luffy, or just being a dumbass.
He goes back to defensive, unsettling, distant. And that might be worse than Luffy's anger or disappointment, dealing with Zoro's distance. Especially after having it. No more naps with a always warm swordsman. No more easy affection or privilege of being one of the people to see a fully relaxed and soft Zoro. No more touches to surprisingly soft skin, and no more easily given vulnerable spots.
I said at one point that Zoro gave me tiger on a gold leash vibes and here it is.
He may call Luffy captain and follow him willingly but tame is not a word that should be used to describe Zoro.
Let him be soft and terrifying.
Let him rip apart a battle field and drop bodies like gifts at his crews feet. Let him go back home bloody and feral, and angrily headbutt them like a cat when they refuse to touch him until he's cleaned up.
Let him come back clean, blood and wildness washed off and wisked away down the drain. Let him lay over their laps, cuddle up, or anything else like that.
And someone write me a submissive Zoro fic, god damn, I'm dying over here.

disclaimer- i failed math so i looked up a lot of this shit.. you should see my search history- fuck private browsing, private browsing is for cowards
Tumblr media
-it's slightly longer than average, around 5 inches soft and up to 7 inches erect, and it's fairly thick- around 4.5 inches for girth (or 11.43 cm) soft, 6-6.5 inches (16.15 cm) erect
-it has a maybe 4 veins, 3 of which are more very noticeable
-i know nothing about balls so bare with me// the average testicle size is 4x3x2,, zoro's are a bit larger let's say around 4x4x3
-it's darker than his skin tone, like a slightly lighter shade of his skin tone in the east blue arc
-he doesn't shave, if you ask him to he might attempt it, you might have to get in there yourself
-his pubic hair unlike his actual hair is a very dark brown (almost black)
-when it is erect it has a very very vague tilt to it.. and it twitches a lot
Tumblr media
-it's pretty small for someone of his height but when he's hard it gets a lot bigger
-soft it's around 5 inches (or 12.7 cm) and it can swell to 7-9 inches when hard
-it's skinny, we all should know this, it's thinner than average -he's about 3.50 in.- and swells to about the average girth 4.30
-now balls (again average is 4x3x2) and law's are around 4x3x3
-it's color is very similar to his skin, and the tip is a bit red (get's redder though)
-he doesn't shave either, he'll do a bit of trimming because it gets uncomfortable and annoying at some point, but it's not neat, and the hair is black
Tumblr media
-very small dick, i'm sorry
-around 3.5 inches soft and swells to around 5 inches, girth is about 3 inches soft and 4-4.5 inches erect'
-his balls are also small, maybe 3x2x1
-it's slightly slightly darker than his skin tone, an the tip is a vage red to begin with that becomes more prominent the harder he is
-he does not shave and he will not shave unless you make him sit down and you do it yourself, black hair
-it has a curve to it

I have a severe phobia of needles and have to get my COVID vaccine tomorrow so here’s how I think some one piece boys would react to their s/o having a panic attack over needing a shot.
Boys the cave and don’t make you get it
Ace- he knows it important but seeing you cry breaks his heart. He just can’t handle seeing you so distressed. Holds you tight telling you “it’s ok babe, you don’t have to.”
Sanji- no ones going near his Princess/prince with a needle. How dare you make (y/n)-swan cry you monster! Makes you your favorite comfort food to calm you down.
Luffy- “well why the hell do you have to get one if you don’t want to? Chopper stop scaring (y/n)!” No one can explain why you need to have a shot. He’s not going to let anyone do anything that makes you upset.
Franky- crying as soon as he sees you cry.
Eustass Kid- fucking pissed. “You coward it’s just a little needle! Damn idiot if it scares you such much just don’t do it!” Can’t emotionally process seeing you so distressed
Zoro- one little shot can’t be the important right? It’s your body if you don’t want to he won’t force you. Can’t think of any other way to get you to stop crying. He hates seeing you cry.
Buggy the clown - probably also scared of needles so he gets it.
Comforts you but makes you get it
Sabo - he hates to see you like this but your health is more important! Has you sit in his lap and holds you tight as the doctor gives you your shot. Wanna go get ice cream? You deserve some ice cream.
Ussop- he’s get it, he probably understands how you’re feeling better than anybody but your health is important. He’ll hype you up telling you how tough you are! A tiny needle is no match for the mighty (y/n)! Distracts you with stories while the doctor give you the shot. He’s so proud of you after! You’re a total badass for facing your fears!
Marco - as a doctor he knows you need to get this shot but he’s also sympathetic to his you’re feeling. Assures you that your fear is normal and it doesn’t make you weak but you do need to be brave for him.
Doffy - He wants to cave and let you have your way but protecting you and your health is more important. You’ll do it for him right? Let’s you cry and shake in his lap as the best doctor in Dressrosa gives you your shot.
Katakuri - This man is so soft but his patients can run out. You have to have this shot but it’s ok he’s right here. He’s a comforting but firm. Holds you tight and has you keep your eyes on him. His experience comforting countless little siblings shines through and he’s there to hold you after and tell you how brave you are. You’re definitely getting a treat after.
Shanks
Mihawk
Smoker
No mercy
Law - look let’s just get this over with. You have to have this shot. He doesn’t think bad of you, he’s mostly frustrated that he’s the one that has to cause you so much pain. Has Bepo hold you still so he can give you the shot. Winces when you cry out as the needle goes in your arm. Holds you while you cry it out after.
Crocodile - I can’t write crocodile but he’s a no bullshit kind of man so.

Hi I‘ve just discovered your blog, now I‘m addicted to it. So I wanted to request a headcanon of Law, Zoro and Ace having a crush on their s/o for long without admitting their feelings until one day in a dangerous situation they are forced to kiss their s/o
Hi! I'm so sorry that this took me so long but thank you for being so patient! I ended up taking this more in the direction of "confessing because they could be hurt" rather than just strictly confessing during danger, but it was a cool opportunity to talk about the differences in the ways these boys kiss (these are the three I tend to thirst over the most, so yes I've thought about it before lmao) I hope you enjoy!!
Tumblr media
Law:
💉 He’d always watched them from afar, figuring eventually his feelings would fizzle out into nothing
💉 And then that didn’t happen, and he said “whatever, I’ll be fine”
💉 He’s a man on a (suicide) mission, he’s got no time for love or relationships
💉 And then they’re in battle, things are escalating to dangerous levels, and even though Law’s no coward he knows sometimes the best course of action is to retreat
💉 Only they don’t want to retreat, they want to keep fighting, and they’re resisting every attempt Law makes to get them back inside the submarine
💉 So he does the one thing he can think of to distract them, and kisses them right there in the middle of a naval battle
💉 Law’s kiss is desperate, filled with all the emotion he hides behind his cold exterior, and in the confusion he’s able to get them inside
💉 He’ll have a hell of a conversation to get through later, but considering they haven’t yelled at him yet, he’s feeling pretty good about it
Tumblr media
Zoro:
🗡 So first thing’s first, Zoro may not have admitted his feelings yet but they’re still 100% super obvious to anyone that’s paying attention
🗡 So if his crush is paying attention? They already know how he feels, and likely egg him on just to see how far they can push before he finally says something
🗡 If not? Then it’s a simultaneously frustrating and entertaining show for the rest of the crew
🗡 In any case, he’s not likely to say something on his own unless they’re in a dangerous situation
🗡 Basically all those times he’s almost died? Any one of them could be a trigger for him finally confessing
🗡 If his crush almost dies? Even better, no way is he letting them die without knowing; he’s had zero regrets in life and he’s not gonna start now!
🗡 And that’s basically how he opens the conversation; he didn’t want to die (or have them die) without being honest, but he’s also not great with words (especially emotional ones), so he figures kissing them would just be easier when the words start becoming a jumbled mess
🗡 He kisses slow at first, almost shy, waiting for them to push him away, then as his confidence grows so does the kiss, leaving them both feeling lightheaded; it’s rough, and practically all teeth, but it’s ok, he’ll get there
Tumblr media
Ace:
🔥 Ace’s crush likely already has the idea he might like them, just based on how he acts around them
🔥 He’s constantly trying to look cool (and usually failing, and when he fails blushing like an absolute fool)
🔥 Of course, if he wasn’t trying to look cool he’d actually succeed, but he hasn’t figured that out yet
🔥 The main reason he hasn’t confessed yet is that nagging little voice in his head that’s been ragging on him for years telling him he’s worthless
🔥 It tells him there’s no point in confessing, they’ll just reject him, and friends will be the best he can hope for
🔥 So it isn’t until one day they get seriously hurt that it really hits what he could lose out on if he stays quiet
🔥 He waltzes in after Marco finishes patching them up, glad to see them pouting that they’re fine
🔥 Words escape him at the moment, so he just leans it unprompted and plants his lips on theirs in a soft kiss, eyes closed so he can’t see their reaction, and when he feels them kiss back he melts, smiling into the kiss and caressing their face tenderly, feeling like he’s at home

So... I have this bad habit where sometimes, when attempting to summarize the idea for a fic, I go into waaay too much detail.
Like, I don't go as far as to actually wrote the damn thing because, you know, effort and laziness, but... Well, it's a close call. It gets to the point where it's less a summary and more what my friends use to call a Quick Fic. All that's .kissing is the actual dialogue and descriptive narration.
Having said that....
Here is a "summary" of an ZoLaw AU where Law works for Doflamingo...
What happened was, basically, Law got caught by Doflamingo after eating the devil's fruit which eventually allowed him to cure his dieses, thus why he's still alive. Or, at least, isn't dead from lead poisoning. Because let's face it, Doflamingo could have just killed the boy then and there. Sure, he'd have to find the fruit all over again, but better that the deal with this little traitor
Except really it was his brother who had been the traitor. Law is still just a child, and children can be so suspectable to any number of ideas so long as an adult gives them a pat on the head and a treat after.
Which is when Doflamingo realizes that he can just manipulate Law into being another loyal follower. Then eventually - when he's no longer useful - Doffy will have him sacrifice his life for his own immortality. By that point Law will be family, and family never lets Doffy down. Not anymore.
So it's under Doffy's personal tutorage that Law grows up, and as much as he might resit the man who imprisoned Corazon, it's hard not to eventually fall to all Doflamingo's sweet praise and promised. And Law gets what he had wanted all along: a way to get back at the world that willingly watched his home wiped off the official world map and would be happy to see the entire town dead to the very last one. This Law truly earns his title Surgeon of Death, acting as the top officer of Hearts in the Doflamingo crime family. And yet despite his cruelty, he isn't even on the government's wanted list; protected under the Shichibukai's jolly roger.
In the meantime, the Strawhats are still doing their thing right on through Punk Hazard (which they somehow manage to not only live through but actually do more damage and cause twice as much chaos. The biggest difference is that Ceaser and Monet escape and Sanji can't perv out over being in Nami's body). So this time when they roll into Dressrosa it's less "backing up the plan of an ally" and much more "on complete and total accident" and "without a damn clue".
Yeah, basically they're the Grand Line's easiest prey.
But, hey, it works out! Well, no, not really. But Sanji does meet Violet, Luffy meet Sabo and help recover Ace's devil's fruit, and Zoro does get lost and require a magic fairy guide. Plus, hey, since they're not really there for any purpose other than that they happened to be passing by, it's not like they can't pull a dine and dash. They may be unprepared, but The Monster Trio can still keep up the fight until everyone is back on the Sunny.
A perfect escape!
Except no.
Because Luffy isn't totally ready to leave, not when he wants to know more about what Sabo is doing and help his new friend Rebecca. Not that they have time to debate the merits of staying or pulling a tactical retreat since at that poing Big Momma is on their ass. And that scary dude in the long black coat is still somehow following them, teleporting himself through the fucking air like wtf why is this happening now!? Nami is forced to make an executive decision: they're can't stay. Also, oh God oh God they're trapped and they're going to be killed and oh God.
It's moments like these you're almost thankful one of your crew members is a total maniac. Because in the middle of all this mess, Zoro just smirks, tells Nami to just concentrate on getting away from that annoying ass ship, he's got their other attacker covered. Which only makes everyone freaks out MORE because what is Zoro thinking: he'll be killed! ("Not immediately, of course. First they'll likely torture him for information, perhaps even kill him as slowly as possible." / "What? Why would you say that? That is not SUPER helpful to hear right then!") The Sunny goes into an all out panic attack. Everyone is yelling or crying or both.
Except Luffy.
Luffy who looks at Zoro, at the singing ship, at the dark power user trying to slash their ship apart, at the shore line of this island and the way it radiates a fake happiness covering Rebecca's very real pain. Luffy who just lowers his hat over his eyes and gives the nod.
Zoro smiles, and is immediately almost clobbered by a giant Chopper. What is Luffy saying? Don't they realize that is the same guy who almost took down Sanji, Zoro AND Luffy only moments ago? Zoro can't fight him alone! Sanji, more calm than the rest, lights a cigarette while explaining that he's not trying to stop Zoro from getting himself killed or anything, but Chopper is right. That guy was incredibly tough, and there's no way Zoro can do it alone ("Shut up dartbrow! You don't know what the hell you're talking about! I could take him down with just the two swords! With one hand behind my back!" / "He already kicked your ass once, Marimo! Or have you forgotten because of all the head trauma!?" / "The only reason he kicked OUR asses is because YOU kept getting in my way you damn weak-ass cook!" / "WHAT DID YOU CALL ME, IDIOT MARIMO!?") Franky tries to regulate the fight but he's busy blocking those deadly aimed slashes from hitting his poor ship while Brook and Kin'emon work on stopping the incoming cannon balls. Either way they're going to have to do something SUPER fast if they want to get out of here. Yeah, Luffy, we need an actual plan. We can't just send Zoro out to-
"Zoro", Luffy says and despite everything going on around them the deck of the Sunny goes really quiet. They all know that tone. "Zoro, I need you to take care of this until we can get back. I still need to kick Mingo's ass for a friend."
At the sound of his captain's no nonsense voice, Zoro is suddenly easily able to stand, shrugging off the pile of people trying to stop him from jumping to his death (and by pile of people I do mean the coward trio and Sanji, who is mostly just trying to get in a few kicks). He draws Wado, clutching the katana in his teeth and yet still somehow manages what you know is a smirk. It's a promise.
And like that, Zoro is launching himself right into the blue sphere of the battle.
A battle against one of Doflamingo's top officers. A devil's fruit user with a twisted heart and home field advantage. Needless to say, it does not end well for our hero.
—🧡—
Although, Law has to give his rival swordsman some credit. He has his share of fun toying with the boy, and despite never standing any real chance of victory Law can admit the strawhat pirate puts up a better fight than most. Far better than Law had been expecting from some one so new to the New World (supposedly he got Mihawk to agree to train him, but Law has met the Hawk Eye and finds the idea utterly absurd). Then there is the way his smile had just an edge of what Law could only call manical delight, even when it became clear he'd long lost. This greenhaired kid really is stupid enough to believe his captain will come back for him. As though he would come charging back into Doflamingo's territory a second time just to retrieve a single crew member. One who was not only crazy enough to sacrifice himself but couldn't even win the fight. At the same time the swordman's loyalty and faith - as misplaced as it is - is kind of... Adorable. Who knew someone could come so far on the Grand Line and still be so innocent?
Law immediately wants to corrupt it.
Thes other family members will whine tell you, Doffy has always had... Let's say... A "soft spot" for Law. He's spoiled that brat for years, is what they mean but don't dare to say. Sure enough, Law barely has to work to talk Doffy around to letting him personally see to the prisoner's arrangements. Doflamingo is a little suspecious at first (he can never truly trust Law, not after the Corazon incident), but he quickly dismisses it. He's had the Heart Officer's loyalty for years now.
Of course, when he sees the spark of interest light in his apprentice as they eye their newest spoils of war, he can't help but tease Law. After all, Zoro is quite an enticing young man and Law isn't the only one there who likes pretty things. They're so fun to destroy which - judging from the way Law shivers when Doffy runs a hand through thick green hair before yanking the boys head back against the wall hard enough to leave the young captive panting and dizzy - is precisely his protege's plan.
(Doflamingo also happens to know Zoro almost definitely had trained under Mihawk, and he would love to see his fellow warlord's eyes flash with barely contained anger when he learns how Doflamingo has broken his favorite toy. It's not his fault - Mihawk is always so uptight and repressed, it makes agonizing him too much fun for Doflamingo to resist.)
In the end, though, he knows when Law's determination is set. And for whatever reason the boy has decided he absolutely has to be the one to keep their guest "comfortable" while his captain makes up his mind on what he'll do. So Doflamingo only teases for a bit - touches a little, plays with the barely conscious boy kneeling at his feet, enjoys the way Zoro still has enough spirit left to try taking bite when Doffy's fingers trail to close to his bloody lips (oh, and, what a joy! Law nearly growls at the prospect of not being the one to ruin the boy!) - but eventually he stops his little game. He gives in, telling Law to have fun with his treasure. He is the one who took him down after all. It is only fair he keeps him.
Just try not to completely break the poor thing, not until Strawhat returns for him.
Law snorts at the very idea. This is hardly the first time they'd done this. He's never seen a single captain try and retrieve their stolen property (he has of course, but he doesn't remember them). He doesn't see why Strawhat-ya would be particularly special.
Before Doflamingo can come up with a clever, vague answer about Law trusting him, Zoro suddenly gives a bark of laughter that would have scared lesser men senseless. It only serves to draw the two men's interest back to their little pet.
Luffy won't come back for him, Zoro confirms, much to Law's surprise (he personally never thought Strawhat-ya would, but then why would the swordsman sacrifice himself so willingly for a man he has so little faith in?) and has Doflamingo raising an eyebrow in.... Interest. Zoro looks at both of them with no fear, like he hadn't taken a humiliating defeat and is even now bloody and chained up, helplessly listening in on these two infamous pirates talk about him like he is a mere object. Actually, if anything, he appears to be wearing a smirk under all that blood. Because he knows something they don't.
Luffy won't come back for him, because his captain knows Zoro doesn't need to be rescued.
To Law, this makes Zoro look like an even sweeter treat. Doflamingo is simply amused, remarking that perhaps their little pup has yet to realize the leash around his neck is shaped like a noose.
Zoro meets his gaze, steady yet daring. He promised Luffy that he'd take care of it, and so that is what he will do. He'll never go back on his word, especially when it comes to his captain. Something Doflamingo with his distrusting and fear-toed crew couldn't understand. So see, their plan to use Zoro as bait will never work, because Zoro swore to Luffy that he'd be take care of it. So he will. Luffy has enough faith in Zoro that he'd never believe anything less and would never turn around out of doing to try and mount a rescue.
No, when Luffy comes back it will be for the sole purpose of kicking Doflamingo's ass.
The mood darkens. In a flash, Doflamingo is in back in front of him, yanking Zoro forward by the chin. He squeezes hard enough to bruise. You can hear the cracking of bone as he explains to Zoro exactly how precarious his current position is only to grow second by second more frustrate by Zoro's completely lack of fear. So he squeezes harder. He slams the boys head back into the wall and starts smiling when he gets a since from the stoic swordsman.
Before he can do any real damage Law steps in, reminding Doffy that he promised him he could have the boy. And just like that, Doflamingo's whole mood appears to shift back to calm. He puts on his fake smile and let's Zoro go, even pets the boy's hair. Of course, he had promised. And he, too, is a man of his word. Something Zoro will surely learn in time now that he is one of them.
Zoro, now with blurred vision and the taste of fresh blood on his tongue, is smart enough not to answer. But not smart enough to lower his head or try and appear humbled. Lucky for him, Doflamingo decides the boy isn't worth it. When he turns around he notes the hungry way Law is eyeing the kneeling prisoner behind him. Which brings a crueller, yet more genuine, smile to Doffy's featurss. The Strawhats vice captain may act invincible now, but he's never faced Doflamingo's own Surgeon Of Death. As disinterested and put off as Law might usually act, the boy can be dangerously twisted. He's sure his top officer will break the young pirate down bit by bit - both literally and figuratively - long before his captain can come running back in to try and find him (and Doflamingo is sure Strawhat will, no matter what Zoro might think).
He leaves with one last reminder to Law not to completely shatter the infamous Pirate Hunter. No, Doffy would hate to see their newest family member treated so poorly, especially seeing as he has much bigger plans in store for the young Mr. Roronoa. Specifically, he wants to see the face of Monkey D Luffy when he watches as the last bit of his first mate's spirit broken.
And because Doffy practically raised the boy and knows exactly the right buttons to push, he decides to give Law a little extra motivation to bring Zoro to that point. Just in case that interest turns into something dangerous like longing or - laughable as it is - actual fondness. It's so simple, too: as he walks by he simply whispers how there is nothing like crushing the heart of unrequited love.
It will be such a treat, tearing Zoro from his captain, and watching Luffy realize he's lost his chance to love the other man, wouldn't it Law? What a truly tragic romance. It almost makes you hope the two of them at least had some time together. Law didn't happen to give them a moment along before forcing Zoro to throw himself into the fight, hmm? Just a small, precious second or so for the two to share a final kiss. After all, not even Doffy is so cruel as to deny the poor boys such a tender moment.
Sure enough, Law's eyes immediately narrow and Doflamingo can feel the jealousy rolling off him. Not because Law gives a damn for their prisoner's feelings - Doflamingo raised him better than that - but he always has had a possessive streak. Having taken an interest in the swordsman, he will hate the thought that the boy might even think of another or that Law won't be the first to possess him in ever possible way.
Doffy leaves with a cruel, deep laugh. He can't wait until dinner, when he may just happen to remember the rumours about his "friend" Mihawk and his taking a young green-haired boy under this wing and in to his bed. By tomorrow he suspects every part of Zoro's body will bare at least some mark that he now firmly belongs to no one but Trafalgar Law.

Is it okay if I take my time
Great. So I edited the original post and Tumblr took it out of the search filter it was appearing in. Now I’ve reposted it and it won’t show up. Why do I bother with Tumblr? Maybe I should just stick to AO3 and FFN.
Title is taken from It’s Okay by Clara Benin, I listened to this song a lot whilst I wrote this (Even though I’m 100% sure it’s about the state of the world right now). I also listened to Conversations in the Dark by John Legend, if we all want something a bit more theme appropriate.
I know this has been done a lot since the end of WCI and I’m behind the times, but I finished the arc a couple of weeks ago and wanted a bit more closure between Nami and Sanji. So this is my spin on it and it’s a hot mess! Wrangled with this so many times before giving up and letting it be.
Summary: Because conversations at night are always more intimate and people end up revealing more than they’d expected. Or, Nami and Sanji clear the air after Whole Cake Island.  Rating: T.
This can also be found on AO3 and FFN.
Enjoy.
------------------------------
The grass beneath Nami was comforting and soothing as she ran her hands through it. She could have easily sat in a chair; it was within her view, folded in the corner, but laying down gave her a view of the stars above. It was a clear night and a rare moment where everything was calm. There was no crew member to save, no life hanging in the balance or Yonko chasing them. Nami wouldn’t get an opportunity to do this again anytime soon once they reached Wano. There would be lives hanging in the balance and Yonkos chasing them again. So she’d take this moment and run with it, savour it.
A gentle voice interrupted her, “Nami-san, I brought you some tea.”
She sat up with a start. “Sanji-kun! You made me jump. Thank you,” Nami replied, taking the offered teacup. “What are you doing sleuthing about this late at night?” It couldn’t be much anyway, as he was dressed in a pullover hoody and pyjama bottoms. Still, her tone was more accusing than she’d intended
It didn’t seem to faze Sanji though as he smoothly replied, “Carrot just finished her watch, it’s my turn now. I saw you up and figured you’d like something to drink. It’s chamomile, by the way.”
Having a divided crew meant longer watches and it didn’t help that there was no Zoro or Robin. Both of them were night owls (or in Zoro’s case, he just napped too much throughout the day) and normally covered the bulk of the watches. Still, it was difficult and meant they couldn’t afford to lower their guard for one moment. Although they’d escaped Big Mom’s territory, there was still a strained tension in the air as they couldn’t be sure she wasn’t still pursuing.
Similar to the strained tension between the two on deck right now. They were civil and spoke when around each other, but there was still an elephant in the room. Unspoken things that needed airing. It wasn’t clear whether the rest of the crew had realised or not, if they had no one said anything.
Nami hadn’t responded and it didn’t look like she was going to either, so Sanji was left hovering, unsure whether to leave or not, whether to speak.
“Lay down with me Sanji-kun.” She flopped onto her back, not waiting for his response. She knew he would.
Sanji didn’t hesitate, flicking his cigarette over the side of the ship and laying down much closer than she’d anticipating. They laid side by side in silence. Nami didn’t have anything to say but she couldn’t stand his hovering any longer.
But she didn’t need to, Sanji swooped in. “What are you doing out here anyway?”
She shrugged. “I couldn’t sleep and it’s a nice night.”
Sanji seemed to accept that and they laid in silence, observing the stars above them. Except something about this silence was deafening, it wasn’t the comfortable one she was used to, and Nami found herself resisting the urge to fidget under its weight. Her mistake was behaving this way in front of Sanji.
“Is something bothering you?” He looked at her from the corner of his eye and there was something far too knowing there. Damn his perceptiveness.
“No. I can take over from watch if you want to go back to sleep.” He still had wounds to heal and she was starting to get a feeling about where this was going. Probably best to abort.
“That’s not necessary, I can do it from here for the time being and when you’re ready to go to sleep, I’ll move to the crow’s nest.”
Hm, no escape.
Distraction is was then.
“It’s a lovely night, so clear,” Nami said conversationally, “If you look over there, that’s the constellation Aquila-”
“Nami-san,” Sanji interrupted, his voice firm. Normally he wouldn’t press Nami to do things she didn’t want to but, he must know as much as she does that things between them needed to be cleared up.
She didn’t respond straight away. Not knowing how to start or if she even wanted to. Sanji didn’t seem impatient, just waiting. “I’m angry,” Nami said bluntly, she didn’t know whether it was the best way to go about it, but she was sick of thinking.
His voice was soft again, “I’m so sorry-”
“With you and with myself… and, just everything.”
Sanji didn’t say anything. That wasn’t what he was expecting, but she always did exceed his expectations.
“I was ready to leave you behind. I tried convincing Luffy to leave and I took your words at face value. How stupid considering I’ve been in the same place myself; I should have known better.” Nami shook her head at her own words, clearly agitated at the thought. “But after all we’ve been through and you were so willing to sacrifice your life. You treat your life so lightly and I hate it.” She paused. “But it’s silly isn’t it? I know why you did those things; you had such good reason to. But I can’t shake it.”
“My intention was to make you leave. I knew Luffy wouldn’t alone, he’s too selfish and single minded. I was hoping between my words and your feelings it would be enough, but well, that didn’t work,” Sanji said. He was trying to make her feel better about her decision, of course he was. But he dodged the part about his self-sacrificing nature, she noticed.
When they settled back into silence this time, it was lighter, Nami felt like she could breath. She slightly wondered if this was the end of their conversation, that maybe Sanji wouldn’t push it any further.
But she was wrong.
“I missed you.” Sanji’s words were barely a whisper, but Nami still heard.
“Didn’t seem to miss me that much when you proposed to Pudding.” The words were out before she could think about what she was saying, and she cringed at how jealous she sounded.
“I know but I was trying to make the best of a bad situation. Honestly.”
Nami snorted but chided herself afterwards. He had originally refused the marriage and the moment he was on the home stretch he hadn’t looked back. Sanji sighed and Nami felt a bit bad about giving him such a hard time, she knew he was stuck between a rock and a hard place.
“Sorry. I know you refused the marriage before it got so complicated.” Nami was so frustrated.
“You know, I’m happy you’re angry,” Sanji hummed in delight, circling back to their previous conversation.
Nami turned her head to give him an odd look. “Perhaps you should go back to sleep, you’re not thinking straight.”
“No I am.” He smiled happily at her. “It means that you care about me.”
She snorted, feeling defensive about the way he’d phrased that. “Of course I do. Friends care about each other.” That’s right, she could downplay this.
“No, you care about me, that’s why you’re still so bothered by all of this,” Sanji smugly replied, not letting her explanation settle. But then he seemed to do a double take, hesitating at his over-confidence. “But, y’know, if you’re not ready…”
Nami heaved a sigh. He was giving her an out, but she knew if she didn’t do this now, they’d be back here further down the line. There was no escaping this. But did she really want to? Goddamn her for catching feelings. Why did she invite him to lay down? A small part of her knew it was because she wanted to have this conversation. She wanted this.
They’d been so close on Zou. Despite the dire situation the mink people had been in before they arrived, they’d been on the cusp of something. Hands that lingered just a second too long, gazes that strayed to the other when they weren’t around. This wasn’t sometime particularly new for Sanji, but it was new territory for Nami. Sanji wasn’t a fool either, he’d noticed. He’d returned it tenfold and even sought her out more often. And she’d enjoyed that. Then again, it didn’t stop her from setting his head straight when he got a bit too overzealous, but it was there. Subtle and building. Then shit hit the fan and messed everything up.
In her smallest voice, she whispered back, “I missed you too.”
She’d expected Sanji to ruin the moment, to start prancing about and shouting as he declared his love for her and that she returned it. Instead, he remained silent, looking up at the stars, a small smile curling up on his face. She felt his fingers tentatively reach out to hers, brushing against the tips of her fingers cautiously.
After a second, she realised it wasn’t caution, he was letting her make the final move. He’d extended the invitation and was giving her the opportunity to accept or reject it. She could lay here and make a bunch of excuses to not take the leap, Sanji would let her, but ultimately, she felt the same way. Now wasn’t the time to be a coward.
Her fingers covered the last distance, resting over his and curling around them, twining them together. Sanji let out a relieved sigh, for all his talk and prancing about, this meant a lot for him. His thumb traced along her hand lightly, enjoying the moment before his fingers squeezed hers, letting her know of his happiness.
She squeezed back.
“Your family suck by the way.”
“That’s an understatement.” Sanji let out a dark chuckle. “You impressed my brothers by the way, they wouldn’t stop talking about you. It was incredibly aggravating.”
“There’s only one Vinsmoke I’m interested in.”
“Reiju?”
“Oh good, now I don’t have to think about how to break it to you.”
Sanji’s laugh was lighter now and his fingers were squeezing hers again, amused by her words. She joined him, enjoying the moment to laugh with him again.
There was just one thing left bothering her and she’d rather see his face for this. She untangled her hand, his chasing after hers until she used that arm to prop her head on as she rolled on her side. Nothing needed to be said for Sanji to mimic her actions and she was looking into baby blue eyes. She was impressed, his eyes didn’t waver to her chest, staying firmly planted on her face, which she imagined was quite a feat in this position with a flimsy pyjama top on. Then again, this was a serious topic and he was never one to joke around in those kinds of situations. It was something Nami liked about Sanji, he knew when to reign it in and when to joke around. He read her so well. There was something daunting about that as well.
“Look, about Pudding…” Nami started to say but she was unsure how to finish.
“Pudding is a nice, albeit complicated person- probably a bit messed up from Big Mom’s upbringing- and she’s a fantastic baker.” Sanji finished. Nami couldn’t keep the disgruntled look off of her face. Sanji continued before she could say anything, “But she’s not you. No other woman is.”
Nami could feel heat blooming on her cheeks, it didn’t help that they were now face to face and she was confronted by the warm expression on Sanji’s face. “You’re a sap.” She gently pushed against his chest, not knowing how to deal with his adoring look. His hand trapped hers against his chest.
And it was in that moment, when she looked back at his face, that she realised just how close they were. Sanji’s expression was so soft and warm and she could feel herself being pulled in. Her eyes closed as their lips brushed together, feather light against the others and Sanji hummed in content. When they pulled apart, she opened her eyes and felt butterflies erupt in her stomach at the tender smile he gave her. The butterflies were now in a frenzy as he leaned back in, his lips tenderly moving against hers as his thumb rubbed little circles on the back of her hand.
Neither moved away when they broke the kiss, a hair’s breadth apart as their breath mingled together.
“I think I was scared,” Nami whispered against his lips. The darkness providing the security she needed to be honest. “Scared of losing you.”
“I was scared too,” Sanji whispered back, his nose nudging against hers in reassurance. “Being trapped in a place I hated. Having to leave the crew. Not being able see those dumbasses and Robin-chan ever again. Not seeing you.”
Nami’s heart twisted at the sentence ‘Being trapped in a place I hated’. They mirrored her childhood so well and her stomach churned at the thought of what he’d been through. She didn’t know a lot about Sanji’s childhood, he’d never shared, and she was starting to understand why now. Considering what Judge had said when the Straw hats and Vinsmokes had parted, it wasn’t pleasant. And there was that anger again, that anger with everything. Anger for him she supposed.
She didn’t know whether to probe about his childhood or not. They were having a deep conversation, so it seemed like a good time, but what if he didn’t want to?
Sanji interrupted her thoughts, unknowingly making the choice for her and swiftly changing the topic. “But it doesn’t matter, we’re back together.” And he beamed at her.
God it was difficult to be at the brunt of his smile up close. Just because she could, she leaned in to peck him on the lips.
But there was a time limit on how seriously Sanji could behave and it was up.
“And can I just say, your breasts look fantastic right now.”
“Pervert!” She exclaimed, shoving him this time and he rolled onto his back from the force. He was lucky that’s all he got.
His arms wrapped around Nami, bringing her into his chest and she hovered above him to look at his face.
But he hadn’t lost the cheeky twinkle in his eyes. “They look good in this position too. Maybe there’s not a position they don’t look good in.”
Nami’s hand pressed over Sanji’s face, pushing it to the side. “Maybe I’ve made a mistake…” She said teasingly.
“No take backs!” Sanji exclaimed and laughed, tightening his arms around her and coaxing her into his chest as he placed a kiss on her cheeks. “This is it, you’re stuck with me, Nami-san.”
“I could think of worse things, Sanji-kun,” Nami said, resting her head against his chest and listening to his heartbeat. Nami hummed, it was soothing, and she could feel herself drifting, nuzzling into his chest to get comfortable. His hands traced up and down her back and she could feel herself melting. Maybe they should have done this sooner, he was so comfortable. “No funny business,” She murmured sleepily.
“I’d rather you be awake for funny business,” Sanji said, leering down at her.
Nami snorted and felt Sanji press a lingering kiss onto the top of her head before she drifted off.
“Nami-san,” A soft voice coaxed, “Nami-san.” There was a soft hand on her shoulder, gently shaking it in an attempt to rouse her.
Stirring, she looked up, bleary eyed into Sanji’s face. It took her a second to remember what was going on but when she did, she asked, “What time is it?”
“Almost three, you should go to bed, you feel cold.”
Reluctantly she agreed, taking a moment to gather herself, she really was comfortable. Sanji was looking at her fondly and she couldn’t help but feel self-conscious for a moment, she really hoped she hadn’t dribbled. She rolled off of him, laying down on her side next to him and contemplated asking Sanji to carry her to her room. She knew he would, he’d do it in a heartbeat, but she was a grown up, not a five-year-old.
Nami sat up, Sanji joining her a moment after. She was about to leave but turned and smiled at Sanji. The night had shaped up pretty well and she gave into the impulse to lean in to kiss him. She briefly wondered if her breath was a bit gross after being asleep but Sanji didn’t seem to mind as he tilted his head to get a better angle.
She was aiming to keep the kiss light and it started out that way. Small pecks and feathery brushes as their lips met, but to hell with it, she enjoyed being a tease after all. She slanted her lips against his and pressed more firmly. Sanji made a noise of surprise in the back of his throat before reciprocating in kind and wrapped an arm around her to press her up against him.
What started sweet was beginning to turn heated as Nami nipped at Sanji’s bottom lip and he groaned as her tongue soothed along his bottom lip. Her stomach twisted when his free hand reached up to cup her face and his tongue tentatively met hers. He soon gained his confidence when she gave a breathy moan and their mouths met in an open mouth kiss. Nami could feel heat pooling in the stomach and although she was outside, it was all too hot.
Things were starting to get out of control. She needed to reign this in before it went too far.
She pulled away, breathing heavily and the hand on Sanji’s chest was now there to stop him from following after her. He looked thoroughly kissed and she imagined she looked the same. She graced him with a few small, lingering kisses.
“Good night Sanji-kun, see you in the morning,” She whispered against his lips.
“Hrrg,” He replied, before coughing and composing himself. The glassy look in his eye didn’t leave though as he nodded. “Good night, Nami-san.”
He leaned in to kiss her again, but she dodged out of the way. Heaving herself up, she winked and gave him coquettish wave over her shoulder as she walked towards her room. They may be together, but she did promise to make him work after his return.
And he was left watching her leave, waving back at her in a stupefied daze. A satisfied smile spread across his face.
---------------------------
I was so close to writing le sexy times. Sanji just forces my hand but I reigned it in, I’d never planned to and for once, I stuck to it. Also, Luffy almost made an appearance, to obviously ruin the mood because everyone loves Sanji suffering at the hands of his Captain… right?
I actually don’t like that scene they included in the anime, where Nami said about ‘working him like a horse’, it was far too cold for me. But I couldn’t resist mentioning it at the end and this is my spin on how she actually meant it.
As always, please forgive spelling errors.
Thanks for reading.
