whoever told boys that they aren't allowed to be pretty can be kicked by my boot in the shins. whoever told girls that beauty fades with age can be punched by hand in the face. whoever told anyone that they aren't an amazing human being and so so so beautiful no matter how much they think they aren't can go die in a fucking hole.

I think one of my favorite genre of fandom slapfighting posts are the ones where people complain about not having enough masc4masc ships and that not every gay man needs to be feminine. Baby I know you spend to much time on tumblr.com but if you go outside, you will find that masc queer men are so much more socially accepted than fem queer men. Femininity when performed by men is still so taboo to so many people in the real world so maybe it's good actually that there's spaces where men are not ridiculed for being feminine and it's actually celebrated. I promise it's not hurting you.

Is there some valid criticism of fandom culture and the way they objectify gay men? Yeah, but femininity and feminine gays are not the enemy I promise.

May 27 2023 Okay, you know what: I am low key angry about all the buzz that Käärijä is getting for having a normal body. People call him ‘fat’ and having to ‘lose weight’ but to me, he looks muscular and healthy. And it is not just online since I first encountered it irl with two girls calling him ‘Winnie the Pooh’. Do you know how much I’d give to have his body? To have his confidence? He is out there proudly showing his surgical scars and his tummy, and all people can see is that he is not model thin.

Ah, okay, my public facing identity as "Lili" as just as constructed as my public facing identity I had as a boy, it's my private and personal self as Lilith that is as authentic to myself as I can actually be (gender being a flawed medium to express that)
