Of course Hongseok wasn’t actually going to get a girlfriend. Luckily for him, he was not only handsome, but also smart. He quickly came up with the idea that he could simply just make his friends think he got a girlfriend so they’d get off his back. But he also knew he didn’t have any friends who were women who would agree to help, and he knew any girl he had spoken to previously would just tell him to go fuck himself if he asked any of them -- and there was no way in hell he’d let any of those girls think they were actually his girlfriend. He needed to find a way to get a girl to go on dates with him while still making sure no romantic lines were crossed.

Again, Hongseok was a smart man, and he had money to spare, so his plan didn’t take long to come up with.

He wanted to get some assistance with his plan, but he had nobody he could tell. Hui and Jinho couldn’t know for obvious reasons, Wooseok, Shinwon and Yanan would just tell everyone else to get him in trouble, Changgu probably wouldn’t listen anyway, and Kino and Yuto were a no-go because they’d just be disappointed in him and would probably eventually let it slip to everyone else. This was something he’d just have to do on his own.

Hongseok searched up a few sugar daddy websites before picking one he found to be the most reliable and least sketchy. This one seemed to have better options, stronger background checks, and overall just seemed to be the safest bet. So he made a profile under sugar daddy and waited for a message or whatever.

It didn’t take long for him to get some inquiries, but he didn’t like any of them. They either weren’t his type or were interested in things he wasn’t looking for. Or they just came on too strong, which was automatically a no from him. He wanted someone he’d consider ‘normal’. Basically wasn’t overly-sexual, was just looking to go on a few ‘dates’ or whatever, and wouldn’t actually call him daddy. But they also had to be someone he’d consider cute or good looking, and it seemed like those two things he was looking for didn’t come hand-in-hand.

At least, not until he got one message around 7:30pm a few days after making the account. He was just hanging out in his apartment and doing what he usually did when he had finished his classes. Then he saw the email notification come up that he had a message from the sugar daddy website, so he went over to his laptop and opened the tab he left.

It honestly seemed to be the most normal message he’d gotten. Every other girl was always very straight-forward, but this one seemed to come from someone who was nervous and unsure about what to say. Somehow, he liked that over the overly-confident ones.

He clicked on the little circle for the profile picture to make it pop up on his screen. Not everyone used photos of themselves -- most of the sugar daddies did for obvious reasons, but not a lot of the sugar babies did -- but he always just asked for selfies if that were the case. In this case, the one he was looking at was a photo of their lips.

He went to the profile and read over it. _____ _____, 2 years younger than him, lived in the same area, liked to play video games, and was just looking for someone to spend time with. So far, so good. But it was still such little information that he still couldn’t tell if this person would be normal or not.

yanghong: That’s okay, I’m new to the sugar daddy thing as well lol. Do you mind if I see a photo of you first?

The photo that was sent was at least pleasing to look at. He thought the girl was very cute, actually, but he still had to be positive it was actually her. He could easily be catfished. He wasn’t stupid.

snflwr: can you also prove that’s you in the pfp? lmao

snflwr: no offense but i wouldn’t put it by some old dude to use a younger good looking guy w a six pack to catfish women

Hongseok couldn’t help but chuckle at that. She was funny, too. That was good.

yanghong: Would you want to Facetime? That would definitely prove we’re who we say we are.

It took longer than before for snflwr to reply, but he eventually just got a ‘sure’, followed by her information to contact her. He grabbed his phone to start the call before another message popped up.

snflwr: i’ll be honest, i’m really nervous, so my friend is gonna talk to you first. so like don’t hang up when you see a dude answer lmao that’s not me

Hongseok had to admit, that seemed just a little sus, but sure. So he started the Facetime call and waited.

Sure enough, when they picked up, there was a guy with a black baseball cap on, his blonde hair peeking out through the sides.

“Oh damn, it is him,” he chuckled, looking off camera before looking back at Hongseok. “I’m ______’s friend, Soonyoung. I wanted to make sure you were legit first. She’s...well, she’s shy.”

“But she’s looking for a sugar daddy?” Hongseok chuckled. “Why would she want to go hang out with a stranger if she’s shy.”

Soonyoung just shrugged, “Can’t be too picky in this economy.”

“Lemme see!” another male voice called before a second boy popped his head in frame. This one had cotton-candy-blue hair, and was wearing a brown visor with the name of a local cafe embroidered on it. “Whoa, you are real. I really had my money on you being a creepy old guy.”

“Okay, well now that you know I’m legit,” Hongseok began, “can I actually see that _____ is?”

“Oh, yeah, sure,” Soonyoung replied before handing the phone over.

Hongseok only saw a few empty tables in the cafe before he suddenly saw your face on screen, your eyes still looking up at the two boys from where you sat. You were laughing a little timidly at someone one of them was doing behind the phone before your eyes settled on the screen.

Thank god, it was the same girl that was in the photo.

“Hi, sorry about that,” you said. Your voice wasn’t necessarily what he expected, but it wasn’t like it was anything bad. It was just...normal. Nothing annoying to listen to or anything. “But uh, yeah. I’m real.”

“Good,” he chuckled. “So tell me a little more about yourself. What do you do for work?”

“Technically, I’m a streamer,” you shrugged, “but it’s only because I’m a full-time student. But obviously it’s not making a lot of money since I’m here doing this.”

Hongseok laughed, “Yeah, I don’t even have a job right now. My parents just make a lot of money, and I’m supposed to take over for my dad when he retires. I’m also a full-time student.”

Neither of you decided to ask where the other went to college because that seemed too personal, especially considering what your arrangement was -- well, hopefully would be.

“So you’re just looking to spend time together?” Hongseok checked. “Not offering anything more?”

“Nope,” you replied. “I don’t really want to do any of the stereotypical stuff you hear about. I’m not...comfortable with that, if that’s okay.”

“That’s perfectly okay,” he nodded. “So...I guess we should talk about how it would all work out then?”

“Yeah, what’s the deal?”

What Hongseok was looking for was proof. Proof that he had a girlfriend, so he needed to make it seem like he did. Going out on dates, texting, stuff like that. Stuff where he could give photo evidence that you existed if his friends asked.

“Just go out with me like, once a week if your schedule allows it,” he explained. “You don’t have to call me or anything, but some texts would be appreciated. You don’t have to talk to me everyday, but don’t just like, ignore me for a week, y’know?”

You shrugged with a nod, “That seems reasonable. I’m down.”

“Okay, so we should talk money, then,” he chuckled. “I was thinking like, $800 a week -- assuming we do go out every week -- and I’ll pay for all of the dates on top of that. Otherwise, just $300 for talking to me every week. Sound fair?”

For a second, he thought he lost connection because you were just frozen on screen. $800 a week? That seemed too good to be true to you.

“U-um, yeah,” you stammered finally, making Hongseok smirk. “That sounds good.”

UPDATE UPDATE UP DATE U P D A A A T E

I'm sobbing with relief, you guys. I've been so stuck on this. I can't believe it took me two months to update. Things were getting better, over the last week or so I managed to write a few sentences here and there, but today it just clicked and I banged out the whole chapter like nobody's business. It feels so good. I don't have the next one written, but I have it outlined, and I have a tentative outline for the rest of the fic--not that we're too near the end, yet. It's just a good sign.

I have some thoughts about the chapter, the fic, and its effect on my mental health, but I have a feeling this will get long so I'm going to put a break. Click if you want to read my rambling about all that, I guess.

Writing this fic ended up being a bigger part of my personal mental health journey than I anticipated, so it's natural that they'd be intertwined. I only wrote it because I was so obsessed with the Suicidal Midoriya Izuku tag I ran out of fics to read and had to make my own. Not exactly "mentally stable" behavior.

If you read Wish I Hadn't Got So Much Better, esp my notes and comments, you know that suicidal ideation is a very real issue for me, both in my past and (surprisingly, like for the Izuku of that story) my present.

I'm not opposed to talking about it, so if anyone wants to chat about that kind of stuff, my DMs and asks are open, seriously, I love talking about mental health and any excuse to talk about myself is welcome. But I won't get into it too much here.

Basically, I was depressed, and dealing with some other physical health issues (TURNS OUT I'VE BEEN BREATHING MOLD FOR MONTHS NO WONDER I'M EXTRA LETHARGIC), and when I started to fall behind on updates, that only exacerbated my anxiety and guilt and, thus, depression.

Something else that came up for me was that I don't totally feel qualified to write about suicide recovery, because I never experienced it in the way I'm writing it.

I basically dumped this on Izuku in Wish I Hadn't Got So Much Better, but essentially, I do have experience with being suicidal, just not the "getting help" part. I do see a psychiatrist for my disorders, but no one ever found out about the suicidal part.

So, like Hizashi and Shouta say in Chapter 13, "Who do I think I am? Why do I think I could take care of a child?" I have no idea what guided recovery looks like, because I did it alone. I kept thinking, what if I'm doing it wrong, what if I'm missing something important, what if people who really had these experiences think I'm taking it lightly?

So that's part of the source for my end note for this chapter--I realized that as long as I'm doing my due diligence, I don't have to feel guilty about getting it wrong, because real people get it wrong too. Also, it's fanfiction, I'm allowed some wiggle room. I've read and loved and recommended fics with far looser basis in reality, and never considered complaining. I'm just a harsher critic of myself than I am of others, as are most people.

On a more technical note, I also struggled with pacing the story. I kept feeling like I was stuck in a real-time pace, and I couldn't figure out how to stop describing literally every action my characters took. How hard is it to zoom out and do a fucking timeskip, for goodness' sake?

For me--very hard, it turns out.

So I kind of gave up, gave myself permission to stop trying. I even stopped reading MHA fics for a little while (no way I could stop reading fics, though). I went back to one of my all-time fave fics, from what might be my favorite anime--Run With the Wind. The fic is Beyond the Wind by kstar2091.

Honestly, I thought my first fic would be in this fandom. I figured it would be a poor homage to this fic, a continuation of canon events finally giving us the romance that had been simmering all 23 episodes. My pfp is best boy Kiyose Haiji for a reason.

Uh oh, that was a bit of a tangent.

My point is, re-reading my fave fic (with delicious new chapters) inspired me, bc kstar is legit VERY GOOD at exactly what I was struggling with--passing a lot of in-story time without sacrificing content or intensity.

So, the little interlude in Izu's POV covering a week or so in the chapter I just posted--that's thanks to kstar2091, Beyond the Wind, and ofc my best boy Haiji. Once I got through that bit, it all started flowing like chocolate sauce at a Golden Corral.

There's a lot of juicy bits upcoming, some of which people have been eagerly awaiting. One of them is obvious. Others, you might hate me for?? But also I hope you'll love them, because you're all screwed up like me.

So yeah, I'm not promising weekly updates anymore, but the juices are flowing, the sun is shining, the mold is blooming in my bedroom, and I'm slowly getting back on my mood stabilizers.

1. why did you choose your url?

i wanted to be stanfordhoodie but someone’s hoarding it, and i’m glad because i like the alliteration of this more anyway :) i have a headcanon that sam had a red stanford hoodie that jess used to wear around their apartment and he loved seeing her in his clothes but it burned up when she did. he flinched at that particular shade of red for a long time.

2. any sideblogs? if you have them, name them and why you have them.

i have a whole ‘nother blog that i’m not outing here with pictures of my face and whatnot, but i will list all the urls i have hoarded! tradwifedean, samhoodie, stanfordedu, henleysam, fratboyjared, and patricided. i saved all of them when people were making safe sammy blogs because i am a petty bitch, but if anyone wants one hit me up (not giving up patricided or stanfordedu, though)

3. how long have you been on tumblr?

2011-ish but i only came on maybe once a year between 2016 and 2019. the pandemic ruined me.

4. do you have a queue tag?

5. why did you start your blog in the first place?

i was on sam stan gen spn tumblr after the finale, mostly for memes, and when i eventually started my rewatch a few months ago and i was like ... oh... i actually still like this show a lot. the negativity in that corner bums me out! supernatural is fun and there’s a lot of deeper threads to the storylines. if i see one more post about supernatural accidentally saying something about, idk, family trauma or whatever, i’m going to throw eggs at the op.

legit criticism of spn is important (for example, the blatant racism in gordon’s storyline, kevin’s entire character being a stereotype, the episode focused on linda tran referencing “tiger mommy,” the colourism even amongst the black characters, how dirty they did jake talley... i could keep going 😐) and i’ve seen people using the memes about supernatural doing everything accidentally to push back against people talking about the very real racism in the show. pretending that these things weren’t deliberate as a way to get notes is insulting from a writing perspective (y’all really don’t know how tv shows work, huh?) but more importantly it offers a handy excuse for legit criticism to be swept under the rug because ‘nobody thought about it that hard 🙄’

that got a bit ranty, lol i’m definitely not saying that every non-bibro in the fandom is annoying, but i wanted a place to gush over how much i fucking love sam and dean’s relationship + what parts of the show i adore, so i made this blog and came out of the s/d closet.

~150, and this is after i went on a following spree when i was sad about my dash being dead. turns out that everyone just happened to be busy on the same weekend, and now i can’t scroll my dash anymore, lol

i check in about once every hour and scroll through a page or two. if i have time i’ll sit down for an hour and actually go through my dash, but that usually only happens if i’ve been too busy to check in during the day. (diagnosed with terminally online disease)

yeah, a dean stan anti came on one of my finale posts and told me i was personally responsible for society not taking real life suicidal people seriously. blocked and deleted my response, but there were ~five people who came to my defense, so thanks to all of them!

they’re really annoying! originally i liked them, because i’ve been around long enough that i saw them back when they were earnest. these days i tend to avoid the post out of reflex. i reblog a fair amount to my main (especially when there’s a protest/disaster going on and it has links to resources, etc)

yes :) it feels like we’re having a slumber party and we’re all holding hands

every once in a while, yeah! i reblog them when i’m in the mood.

1. Why did you choose your url? Because it is pretty sounding. I have always had this URL and I’m glad to have it because it’s just general and doesn’t reflect anything but myself. I am a big dreamer.

2. Any sideblogs? Nope and I see no reason to. Everything I want to post is here.

3. How long have you been on tumblr? Since April 2012. I only used it casually because I wasn’t in to it at first. Then I became wildly active in 2019 when the new Rise of Skywalker trailer dropped. And now I actually love using tumblr.

4. Do you have a queue tag? No, I hardly que my posts. And I am sorry.

5. Why did you start your blog in the first place? Because my friends were using it. I used to be a heavy blogger since high school and I would write in my online journals all the time, but then people sort of just stopped to move to other new things and tumblr was one of them. I didn’t like it at first because tumblr felt more like a place to share other people’s posts and not just for blogging about you. However as I have grown older I find no need to blog and share my thoughts as much and actually have grown to enjoy tumblr as a fun place to share interests.

6. Why did you choose your icon or pfp? Because I just got into the new series, Shadow and Bone and I absolutely love it and the character in my avatar is Kaz Brekker and for anyone who follows me, you’d think you would be familiar with him by now? He’s a cool character. I have a thing for villains. While he is not a villain, he is definitely a bad boy.

7. Why did you choose your header? Because I love astronomy and outer space. I definitely post a lot of aesthetics related to space. Again I am a dreamer.

8. What's your post with the most notes? An appreciation post for Winona Ryder. The gifs aren’t even mine, and suddenly it became so popular I had to find a way to turn off notifications for that post, or maybe people stopped reblogging. I don’t know.

9. How many mutuals do you have? I just counted and 163... damn I had no idea.

10. How many followers do you have? 510 and I do block p0rn blogs and spam bots and eventually blank blogs if it’s clear they are not active. So if I never did, I would have a LOT.

11. How many people do you follow? 606 and I do go through once in awhile to unfollow inactive blogs. and I even did a purge once because I was just following too many things.

12. Have you ever made a shitpost? Maybe? I think so?

13. How often do you use tumblr everyday? I would say at least an hour or two? I check it while I am inbetween gaming and watching TV and get it in spurts.

1. why did you choose your url?

It's my username on AO3. My name is Jennifer, so that's half the nickname. And when I was a teenager years and years ago, trying to come up with my first email account, I asked a friend what I should put at the end of my email to make it unique (because what I wanted was already taken) and he said 311. So I used it and I asked him why 311 and he said it was the police code for indecent exposure. I was like 😶 excuse me, what? But it was too late and it just kinda stuck. He thought it was hilarious and here I am 🤷‍♀️

2. any side-blogs? if you have them, name them and why you have them.

I have one side blog, @identity-reveal-bingo , that I created to host a writing (or drawing etc) prompt based on the identity reveal trope. If you're interested, check it out! The bingo is running until the end of the year.

Since last September, so about 11 months. Oh hey, I'm almost at my 1 year anniversary! 🥳

I had been wanting to connect with the people in the fanfiction community for ages, to be able to talk about fanfiction with people who shared similar interests, as I don't share that hobby with anyone irl. I kept seeing notes at the end of fics on AO3 that the story was from a prompt on Tumblr, or to come check them out on Tumblr, so I thought Tumblr might be a good way to start. And I was right! Tumblr led to discord and I've got lots of fanfiction friends now. ✌️😎

6. why did you choose your icon/pfp?

I don't feel comfortable sharing my pic online and I did a picrew and thought it was cute and figured it's the closest I'll probably get to sharing my real pic.

I've left tumblr and the GF fandom a while ago (though I'm still hoping to come back to the latter someday, like putting on comfy old clothes) but I think of you and your amazing creative energy sometimes and I just.... :'3 the fics I read by you were a delight and I always took pleasure in reading your posts on tumblr too. I hope life is treating you well and I wish you the best <3 (gosh, even your blog layout hasn't changed and you still have the lovieliest billford craft as pfp, thank you <3)

UHH so I promised to answer this "tomorrow", and today isn't tomorrow, tomorrow was yesterday... (I had a wicked bad migraine attack last night so I actually have a legit reason haha but I still feel bad) BUT ANYWAY HI ANON OMG. This ask made me so freaking happy and I dunno who you are but I hope you're swell! (Well, as swell as anyone can be these days, anyway.)

The reason I postponed answering this until my day off is because this ask actually made me feel things that I wanted to address without the usual afterwork brain fog. What you said about hoping to come back to the GF fandom gave me feelings and thinky thoughts, because... I haven't really been able to define even to myself what my current relationship with my main fandom is after I finished Blood Chains (which was well over half a year ago). Honestly, I... felt a little burnt out? Like, not just with the fic, but with Gravity Falls in general. There were no negative feelings involved, but for a long time, whenever I tried to focus on anything GF-related, my brain just drew a blank. Like, no emotional or cognitive response whatsoever. Like the whole Gravity Falls universe (or multiverse lol) felt oddly foreign to me for a while. Then again, that sort of applied to everything from my other interests to social relations while it lasted, sooo it might've actually been more of a general level depressive phase than a fandom-related thing.

Dunno why I feel the need to ramble about this, but... Well, whatever depressive phase I had is definitely showing signs of passing, and I've been having GF thoughts again - not lots, but some! And it feels good, but at the same time it's like. I'm aware that the fandom isn't really active anymore, like, at all. Well, almost. And I while I do feel the pull to the fandom again and plan to put my focus back on the Blood Chains novelization project as soon as the cover art is finished, and then move on to one of my WIP fics that I never got around starting properly... See, I have these personal pet projects, but it's kinda like wandering a quiet empty hallway and blasting my favorite music through earphones... you know? There's no sense of community anymore. I desperately want to make all my yet-to-be-written fic ideas reality, and I'd prolly get a handful of readers for them too, but... I dunno. I feel like the cliques and fandom subsections were formed and solified long ago and most of them have already faded away, and whatever content I may still create or consume are just separate little stalls in what's now a very desolate marketplace.

That doesn't change the fact that I'm still drawn to the GF fandom and plan to contribute more in the future, you know, for posterity if nothing else. Still, feels weird.

...ANYWAY. I love Gravity Falls and Billford to death and you can bet you won't be seeing my blog carrying any other main theme any time soon. Even if 98% of my content isn't GF-related, well, at least for now. :D

In light of recent events.

I am going to address this in a masterpost right now because of how many comments I have gotten.

I did not mean for my Elemental AU to end up looking like a rip off of the Celestial AU(made by the talented arieryn). I never had any intentions of it, in fact, I had very little clue what exactly the celestial AU was at the time I originally made my AU. I just knew it existed, and my AU actually started as a one shot I wrote on my Wattpad, so the designs were based mostly off my descriptions for the characters.

As for the story, unlike the Celestial AU, the Elemental AU isn’t divided into kingdoms, was legit inspired more by stories from those I’d heard from MLP and Lego Ninjago, which I am a rather huge fan of both, granted I didn’t willingly make them inspired by that, it just sort of happened, and the story actually has been completely written out and I wanted to either make a comic or a fanfiction about it.

I never meant for it to be as similar to the Celestial AU as it is. I truly never did, and if it would make everybody a little happier, I could readjust the designs for Michael and Jeremy because those two are honestly very similar to the Celestial AU, although not based on the same things.

Or I could just take down the posts and just continue with my other AUs. Speaking of, I know that arieryn has also drawn a Mario AU, and if anybody says I stole that AU, to you I say my AU has Squip as the villain, and Chrissy as the sidekick. Their AU has Rich as the ‘villain’ and Jake as the sidekick. That and I made my AU way before the other AU was made. I’ve written out full stories and everything. And I was planning on posting my Musical CHB AU today but they’ve also done that, so now I don’t know.

I am truly truly sorry if it seems like I was stealing because I honestly had little to no clue about the original AU. I can redesign Michael and Jeremy, and I probably will now(funny enough I was doodling what would happen if my Jeremy met Celestial Jeremy but like….it is just a sketch in my wip folder on my computer).

But I meant no harm towards @arieryn, I really didn’t. If they would like me to take the AU down I will. Because I truly am sorry for all this mini drama. I’ve been in this kind of situation before, but it was much worse(just gonna say the Undertale fandom was ten times more dramatic than the BMC fandom and I am thankful for that)and it caused me so much stress that I just shut down all my tumblr related accounts and never came back. But then I decided that it was safe to come back, and now I’m going to address the situation head on.

But like I said, I’m vey sorry to everybody who felt as if I was stealing, and to @arieryn themselves, because I really do love them as an artist and I adore their AUs and even thought I just recently discovered their instagram(cause I just recently got an instagram)I did not mean anything bad towards them, nor did I mean to make it feel like I was stealing their content, because I’ve been condoned for art/idea theft before, and I just...I didn’t mean for it to happen

(on a side note, I was on their insta, and they actually posted a thing about this on their story, not saying who it was, and it mentioned that this person stole the pride kids, aka those pride PFPs, and yes, I’d seen them, but it was only for like a few seconds. I can redo those too if it truly needs to be done, again, if they already heard about this, I am very very very sorry and I don’t think I can apologize enough for this because I feel pretty bad now. Like I feel absolutely horrible for this now and am very sorry to everybody for this inconvenience….)

if they happen to see this, I never meant to steal from you, or make it seem like i was stealing from you, @arieryn, I never ever did, and i know it sounds like i’m making excuses to make it seem like i didn’t see your au before making mine, and i had seen it, i just wasn’t really thinking of it when i made mine and that is the honest to God truth. Again, I am truly sorry. To everybody. But mostly towards arieryn, because I’ve had it feel like people stole my stuff before, granted it was at school and a classmate I drew a picture for claimed it as her art and she drew it, it’s a very similar feeling and it does not feel good.

I just wanted to get this out here now since I just now seen all the comments about it in my inbox(which I will say, my inbox is usually very empty, seeing four notifications notifies my mind that something is going on). I am addressing this head on because last incident I had like this I just deleted my tumblr and stayed off social media for about a week. Mainly because one person in particular was absolutely harrassing me, more than should be done in this situations. What we need to do is be rational and civilized about this like I’m trying to be.

Episode 1.1 - This Game is Rigged Against People Who Can’t Read - Vi

The two tribes, Awashima and Hiroku were pitted against each other in a game of Hostile Harai. After a relatively close battle, Hiroku pulled ahead and won a 10% challenge multiplier in the next immunity challenge.

At the immunity challenge, the tribes battle each other in a game of Semantris that led to victory for Hiroku, beating the other tribe even without the score multiplier needed.

At Hiroku, the winning tribe, they celebrated their win and continued to form relationships, though no alliances had yet formed. Emma ventured into the expeditions and found the Awashima hidden immunity idol and was given the option between leaving the idol in place or gifting it to a member of Awashima. Emma opted to gift the idol to Adam with the note: “Can’t wait for merge! (heart) PH.”

At Awashima, bonds began to form and take control of the vote. Katie, Rachael, Rodrigo and Josh in particular began to formulate a plan to vote out Lauren for being the most inactive member of the tribe. Lauren had other plans, wanting to target Adam for similar reasons. After some discussion of idols with Rodrigo, Katie and Rachael opted to vote for Adam as well. At tribal council, Lauren was voted out 7-3 against Adam, who kept his immunity idol in his pocket.

PART 1

Olivia goes on an expedition to Mt. Ishizuchi, where she must climb 100 steps to reach the top. After 15 minutes she completes the task that reveals no reward with this to say:

“I legit message every single person on this tribe and i tried to communicate with them, however nobody messaged me first which makes me low key a little paranoid. Is it the fact that i am too excited to get to know every one? or could it be that some people feeling comfortable alliance? we shall see, at thee moment i don't really believe there is one or if it is there would be of players that have play together before, but i haven't notice any one who would know someone else in my tribe. At the moment, i have 0 game talks i am trying to talk to people but i don't wanna approach people and make them feel that i am playing too hard too fast so i just wanna get to the first steps of getting to know them and then build of an alliance. I feel like the people that i would like to bring in a potential alliance at the moment would be Olivia, Abby, Zach (so hot btw) and there are people that i wanna work with based on interviews ( Cori and Ally) but they haven't give me anything yet too to make them feel that i could work with them, idk i don't really enjoy being the only one who is asking questions and try to lead a convo and that's why at the moment i haven't be able to see if i could potential work with them. My biggest concern mark is Constance, i enjoy talking with him and he seems like a gamer and i would like to work with a gamer but there is something in me that feels that he could make a move later on very unexpectenly”

“So far I feel as though I’ve made some decent connections on this tribe even if they are minimal. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know so many fresh faces but depending on how we do in this challenge, connections unfortunately can not overlook performance as a tribe unless you work it to a certain degree. I do hope that several of my tribe members can help us pull the win for this challenge because I am not doing so hot!”

“The only concerns I have on my tribe are Em and Olivia because they know me from Tumblr and didn’t really like me all that much but I won’t say anything and just let life work it’s course. “I have really been trying to up my social game more than any other game I have been involved in. It may seem like a little too much, but at the same time, I really want to emphasize what I said I would do and that is make genuine friendships with people and do what I can in order to move myself forward in this game. Even if it may cost me my opportunity to win, I at least know that I went out of this game knowing I created a connection with each and every person in someway.

With that said, I think that the idol searching mechanic shows how hard someone is trying to find something because it ultimately catches everyone’s attention if you get something negative like being exiled from your tribe or whatnot.

I’m not quite sure what this game has in store for me and I don’t expect to accomplish much when it comes to challenges so I hope to bring my socially adaptable techniques into my strategy for the long haul.”

1. Why did you choose your url? Cinnafox is my user in AO3....but it's taken in tumblr, so with creative laziness, I came up with : it's cinnafox.

3. How long have you been on tumblr? Since 2008? I was 14. I had a different URL and went by a different name but I ghosted and poofed from the internet in 2014 until.......2017 came back but different 🤫.

It's a safe place for me, as my *cough* love for yaoi, fanfic writing, fanarts etc.... is kept as a secret in real life. So nobody I know in real life here and it's where I get away often from shit I hate :]

Based on one of my favourite children's books "Night on the Galactic Railroad" by Kenji Miyazawa, under this passage "Campanella grasped a handful of sand and let it sift through his fingers. “Each grain is like a crystal, with a tiny flame burning inside,” he said dreamily."" I also used this passage for one of my AkaFuri fic "By The Next Sunrise" where they bond over this book XD I just love it so much........I've always had fascinations with trains, airplanes, and boats....just not other vehicles lol. Random story time: I had this airplane toy when I was young with a string attached to it, so it's meant to be swung around like an airplane, but I dragged it often as though it was a dog on a leash because I never had a pet and always wanted one, so the toy was my..pet LOLOL! I have two of it, one is blue and one is red, I named one Perdita and Pongo....... yes, after 101 dalmations xD (I love that so muchhh) LOLOL! Airplane toys are so much cheaper than trains and boats....why ;n;?

11. How many people do you follow? 332 I likey, I follow LOL. A lot of them are artists and writers from AO3 and even readers of mine that I recognize lol (yes, I remember those that read my stuff because there's so little of you akjsfgajsgfja)

12. Have you ever made a shitpost? An actual question... what is a shitpost? I never bothered to find out until now.....yes, I googled 'what is shitpost' lol. So far, no. I don't often talk about my thoughts or rant, even in real life as I've always had issues with expressing myself and giving any opinions as I'm mostly a listener. I also have a tendency to avoid stress and 'runaway' from problems so it's not quite my thing to do (> ‘ ‘ <).

I had, however, rant about homophobes, a simple 'they're terrible people' that's all, terrible people tend to trigger me and I become upset LOL.

Even if they appear on my dash, I mostly just have the opinions in my thoughts, but it's not really things I say aloud unless I trust someone and talk to them 1-1.

13. How often do you use tumblr each day? Sometimes every day, sometimes every other day, sometimes every 2-4 days? If I don't throw my phone somewhere or have the need to just be alone lol. Since I’m mostly sleeping if not working.

Generally: No. (Except for posts that writers/artists do commission because we all need to live.)

My answer might sound selfish lol, but I do have my reason for this; I've been through shit in my life for years and it just drained me so much and I got so tired of it? Sometimes, just because I'm aware of shit doesn't mean I have to fight for shit, if I'm done, I'm done. I want my own space in which I live in ignorant bliss lol, real life is bad enough. Here is where I sleep uwu.

Also, it will stir me away from people who would want to pick a fight for whatever reason lolol... there’s just people like these everywhere and in real life, they’re pretty much around me lolol.

I do, however, initiate private conversation if I do see someone in distress, so I do it more privately than I do publicly.
