Lalo Salamanca relationship HCs <333
a/n
i was just thinking that there aren’t enough Lalo head canons so this is my jab at writing some of my own :)
- first of all, Lalo is a massive gift-giver
- like fully expect him to surprise you with something stupid expensive that you’d almost feel bad excepting
- his gifts are always thoughtful though, and he would never buy something for you without being sure it would be something you’d love
- i know this man has a whole ass pinterest board with ideas for gift for you
- his favourite part is just watching your face light up when he gives you something he knows you’ll love
- he is also really into physical touch
- whether it be him just putting his hand on the small of your back while you walk or cupping your chin
- he doesnt go over board in public, but in private-
- essentially he never takes his hands off you in private
- he always wants to remind you he’s there
- Lalo understands that his lifestyle can be dangerous and he never wants you to feel frightened by him
- thats why he seems obsessed with the little details, its because he want you to be as happy with him as possible
- he is sort of old school and wants to do everything right, so he literally tries to woo you
- definitely would show up on your doorstep with a bouquet of roses for you
- more than anything, he wants you to be happy
- dont forget, though, he is extremely protective
- to the point where he would quite literally kill for you
- if he felt like you were threatened, he would go crazy, doing everything he can to protect you
- also, he would do anything to make things go well for you
- say maybe you got a bad grade on a paper, but you were doing great on everything else in that class and you were worried it would affect your final grade
- Lalo would deadasss show up to your professors house
- remember the scene when he was interrogating jimmy about what happened in the desert?
- yeah. he would scare the absolute shit out of them all the while with a huge smile on his face.
- maybe throw in some information about them that there’s no way he could have known
- “oh, and hows your daughter, Chloe? honour roll, wow. you and Cheryl must be so proud, and with Jacob getting an A on his STEM fair project.”
- of course he has people watching their every move lmfao
- “be careful, do the right thing.” he would say finally, his face completely void of emotion.
- your teacher would be scared shitless, needless to say.
- when your teacher approached you after class and told you he made a mistake, you would be over the moon
- “i knew you would do it, cariño,” he’d say, ruffling your hair
- but it was him all along.
- you’d probably never find out, but thats the way he wants it to be
- he loves you more then anything, so dont ever take him for granted.

Tumblr media
Lalo 'Eduardo' Salamanca - Funny Headcannons
Warnings: General NSFW talk, Lalo needs his own warning tbh. Dark humor! Morbid humor! a lot of implied psychological manipulation. Cartel boy does Cartel shit. You know how it goes.
Lalo has a lot of strange and somewhat funny quirks.
First and foremost, the fact that he refuses to sleep longer than an hour or two at a time is wild. You need your sleep, which he does understand, but he also can't sit still so you often wake up in an empty bed.
He'd have your sleep schedule memorized, though. Knows about when you get tired, when you wake up, the times you stir to go to the bathroom, etc. Of course, he doesn't tell you that, but you find it uncanny that he can anticipate when you need to lay down or when to have breakfast ready in the morning.
Another weird thing Lalo does is zoning out. Sometimes, you can talk to him, and he's empty eyed, staring at the window, motionless. It's uncanny to you because you have no idea what's going on inside his head. But then he'd blink, and the light would return to him and he'd smile at you and encourage you to continue talking.
The guy has a thing about pushing peoples buttons.
He just... he craves being a menace - mostly because no one can really do anything to stop him. Lalo often smiles or grins when someone is getting worked up/flustered when he's prodding at their nerves.
Unfortunately, that means you catch the receiving end of it too.
Lalo can't help it! He loves watching you get riled up and red-faced. He thinks you shouting is adorable, and the hard, angry fucking afterwards is sublime. Lalo sports your claw marks like trophies, calls you his little wild cat.
Another thing he does that's weird is mirroring. Lalo is good at adapting and charming folks, sometimes he mirrors you to get what he wants.
Not in the mood for sex? Well, that's okay! How about we lay in bed and laugh? What's this? His hand is between your legs while he cracks jokes in your ear. Weird, guess you changed your mind.
Not a weird HC but he's intentionally withdrawn.
He keeps a lot of stuff to himself, making it difficult to discern if he's really upset or not.
Another weird thing is he likes to watch you shower.
He'd sit on the sink or lean against it, while pulling the door open to watch you quietly. Sometimes it seems like he's admiring you and others he looks almost angry.
You know he see's you as a weakness.
He's protective, always thinking 10 steps ahead.
You are his, after all.
Lalo is a gift giver. He likes to buy you stuff you mention off handedly. It's eerie sometimes because he gets you things you didn't realize you even wanted.
Like he's bringing home a dress you glanced at while shopping with him, and now there it is, in your hands. Meanwhile, he's smiling ear to ear and kissing your head, asking if you like it and watching your reaction.
Lalo is weird in the sense he's not extremely physical. The guy is similar to a cat. He'll pat your back, ruffle your hair or tap your chin, but he doesn't do many hugs or kisses. Even when you two are alone.
Though he would definitely not mind you laying against him, asleep, while he watched the fire pit and let his thoughts wander.
However, when the mood strikes him?
Lord he's on you.
Mouth on yours, devouring you, kissing and biting. Can't keep his hands off of you, groping and squeezing and just all over you.
Lalo isn't super weird, but he has those little mannerisms you find charming!

"Hay un portón en la parte de atrás del lugar de Salamanca. A las tres de la mañana esta noche quítale el candado. Ábrelo, lárgate de ahí"
Nacho spent the whole day pondering the instructions given in that unknown call. He knew they were direct orders from Fring, and he sensed that he would do something when Lalo was more vulnerable, and his house was the perfect place. Nacho seemed to agree with that plan and even looked forward to the night, but there was a major inconvenience: You were in the house along with a bunch of other innocent people.
No matter what Nacho said or asked, he knew he wouldn't have a chance to get you out of that situation because, unfortunately, you were also a Salamanca and a potential victim of Fring's plans.
Even though you and Nacho had only had some silly flirting and slightly heated words, neither of you believed the other was interested, so there was only a sort of odd friendship between you. But you had already wormed your way into Nacho's heart, and he was enchanted by you.
He was restless throughout the day as he thought and thought about that situation. He couldn't find a fair solution that would only involve Lalo's death and not yours. He trembled with fear at the mere thought of you getting hurt because of Fring's plans, and the fear of you dying was much stronger than Nacho's desire to see Lalo dead.
Nacho needed to find a quick solution, and as the sky grew darker, he felt panic and dread flood his body.
"What ghost did you see? You're all shaky." you said as you approached Nacho and gave him a big smile.
Nacho had been lost in his own world since morning and hadn't noticed that you had just returned from the horse stable. You were slightly sweaty from taking care of the horses all morning.
"I think I'm just a little hot. It's quite sunny today" Nacho managed to look good, but he had that worried face as always.
"In Albuquerque it's not sunny or what? Man... you're a softie, you need to get some good sun in Mexico".
Nacho felt his heart beat faster as he saw how your relationship had become so strong and trusting. He adored how you treated him so naturally and enjoyed your sincere words. He couldn't imagine not hearing from you again; he didn't want to.
"I'll have time to get used to it."
Before you could respond with a tease, Lalo's voice in the distance caught both of your attention. "¡Ignacio, ven y ayúdame a reparar una cosa por acá!"
"I'm sorry, Lalo needs me..."
"It's okay, go," you smiled in response, but before he left, you took his arm and held him back for a second. "Lalo will have dinner at the house tonight... You should come down and eat with us. I'd like to have you at dinner."
The way you looked at him made Nacho's heart melt, and guilt struck harder in his chest.
"I will. Save a seat for me next to you."
Nacho bid you goodbye for the moment and went to help Lalo with cleaning the engine of his Montecarlo while trying to keep his mind clear and come up with an effective solution for what would happen that night.
Tumblr media
It was already quite late, almost two-thirty in the morning, when Nacho remained awake and on the verge of a nervous breakdown. He was desperate and paced back and forth in the kitchen, debating whether he should continue with the plan or sabotage everything. But it was impossible for him to think clearly when he knew that if he didn't act quickly, he would die that night too.
Nacho decided to stick to the plan and open the gate of the house. He managed to cut a tin can and took small pieces to pick the lock. After checking the time on the kitchen clock, Nacho headed to the backyard, and before he could react, he found himself face to face with Lalo in front of the bonfire, drinking a beer. Ignacio sweated and hid the pieces of tin in his pockets when he saw Lalo invite him to sit beside him.
"Take a seat."
Nacho sat on the wooden chair next to the bonfire, feeling his heart pound forcefully in his chest. Lalo grabbed a beer and offered it to him, looking somewhat calmer than usual.
"Are you still hungry?" Lalo spoke with a playful tone in his voice.
"No, it was a good dinner" Ignacio replied as he took a sip of the beer and tried to loosen the knot in his throat.
Lalo laughed in response and kept watching Nacho with some joy in his eyes. He was really starting to like him.
"She really knows how to keep a man at the table, huh?" Lalo mentioned you, and something inside Nacho made him feel awful knowing that you were asleep upstairs. "I never understood why she enjoys having dinner together so much, but if it makes her happy, well…"
Nacho couldn't understand how Lalo was incapable of understanding you. Was his ego so big that it prevented him from seeing beyond his own desires? It was obvious that you enjoyed having dinner with everyone for the feeling of being in someone's company.
"She must be a family-oriented woman…"
"She was like that when I first met her, but I think she no longer sees her family... They hate her for marrying a narco. Ugh, son puras pendejadas de la plebe" Lalo revealed as he scratched his mustache with his finger, apparently feeling confident enough to talk to Nacho about you.
Lalo wasn't even aware that you had no contact with your family because of him, and he had no interest in acknowledging that simple fact. He probably imagined that you were fine with the whole situation.
"She's somewhat lonely" Lalo continued. "I'm not complaining. She's quite intelligent and a good wife. I couldn't ask for a better woman than her, but she's somewhat... complicated, you know?"
Nacho tried to hide his expression of disgust and shook his head.
"You know, she demands a lot of attention... Sometimes she seems like a child" Lalo shrugged and took a sip of his beer. "She should have friends and go out or something, but she's at home all day waiting for me to return."
"I imagine it must be difficult for her to have friends while being your wife... right?"
Lalo observed Nacho for a moment and paused to silently contemplate what he had said.
"It could be... Maybe she's just as distrustful as I am and finds it hard to trust other people" Lalo smiled as he reached the conclusion that you were as reserved as he was. It only made him feel more secure to have you by his side. "But it seems like she really likes you."
Those words made Nacho's skin crawl. Was Lalo aware of the strange friendship you two had?
"I'm glad she gets along with you. Maybe someday you can introduce her to those pretty girlfriends you have, and she can make some real friends."
Lalo laughed at his own comment, and Nacho tried to play along while realizing that Lalo didn't suspect or feel threatened by his presence with you. Lalo's ego was probably so big that he couldn't feel jealous of Nacho. Or perhaps he trusted you too much and your loyalty to him.
Suddenly, Lalo fell silent and sat up straight in his chair, appearing attentive and alert. Nacho swallowed hard and quickly glanced at his phone to check the time: 3:37. He had missed the deadline to open the gate.
"Did you hear that noise?"
Nacho remained silent and looked towards the gate he was supposed to open thirty minutes ago. Lalo noticed that Nacho also sensed something was wrong and decided to focus all his attention on that spot.
Nacho felt out of himself. He had lost the opportunity to escape; he should have left before Lalo had kept him entertained. But he couldn't blame him. When the memory of the dinner with you invaded his mind, he became lost and forgot about everything else.
"Someone is stepping on the leaves outside…" Nacho whispered, pretending surprise.
"Chingad-… Go call Miguel and tell him to get the boys ready."
Nacho nodded and stood up from the chair. But before he could take another step, Lalo mentioned you, "Go to her and make sure nothing happens to her. Grab the revolver on the nightstand next to my bed and protect her."
The orders were clear, and Nacho felt a great relief knowing that he could ensure nothing happened to you. He quickly ran towards the house and informed Lalo's guards to be on alert for his instructions. Nacho began to climb the stairs of the house towards the master bedroom…
Ignacio hesitated, his hand on the doorknob, unsure if he should enter or not. He didn't know how you would react to being approached by him in the middle of the night. But when gunshots started ringing outside the house, he hurriedly pushed the door open and closed it behind him. He went straight to the nightstand next to your bed and searched for Lalo's revolver.
"Ignacio…?" Your sleepy voice snapped him out of his trance and made him look directly at you.
Nacho almost let out a sigh as he saw you in soft, almost transparent pajamas. Although he wished he could admire you in detail, he quickly reloaded the revolver.
"You have to stand up…. They are attacking the hacienda".
Your look of terror became more pronounced as you heard the sound of bullets and the noise of the garden's metal gates opening.
"Where's Eduardo?!"
"He's downstairs. He asked me to keep you here..." Nacho approached the bed and helped you get up. "I need you to stay behind me at all times... Is there a bathroom here?"
You nodded, trembling, and pointed shakily to the bathroom next to the bed.
"Good. Listen... Go into the bathroom and stay there while I guard the entrance, alright?"
"W-What?! I don't want to be alone, please... Come with me."
Fear flooded your body with each noise from outside. The sound of gunfire and Lalo's men shouting made your body tremble with fear. Nacho noticed this and felt his heart constrict. It was the first time he had seen you in such a vulnerable state, and a sense of protectiveness grew within him.
"Alright... Let's go to the bathroom, but listen to me: if they manage to enter, I will have to go out, but you have to hide. I will try to buy you some time to escape and find a hiding place."
"But Ignaci-"
"Only if they manage to enter... Come, follow me."
Nacho offered you his hand, and you held it tightly as he guided you to the bathroom in the room. Once inside, he locked the door and stood in the middle of the room, still holding your hand tightly. With each sound of gunfire, the tension between both of you grew, and terror filled the dark bathroom. You couldn't see much, and the only sense of security you had was the warmth provided by his strong hand.
"Nacho…" your whispering voice called to him, and he turned to see your frightened face in the darkness, trying to make out your features.
"Stay calm… Nothing is going to happen to you. I won't let anything happen to you."
"And Lalo?"
"Lalo will be fine… You are the priority now."
Those words struck deep within you. The way Nacho was trying to make you feel safe and prioritizing your well-being, it all made you feel… important.
You were his priority. He was looking out for your safety and making sure you felt good by his side. The sensation of his hand holding you tightly, how his entire demeanor was focused on keeping you protected… And even though the situation was terrifying, you felt an incredible sense of happiness.
As the sound of bullets intensified, you moved closer to Nacho and wrapped your arms around his torso, seeking some security in his touch. Nacho felt his heart skip a beat as you got so close, but he remained steadfast for you. He enveloped you with one arm while holding the revolver with his other hand.
When the noise and gunpowder ceased, a sense of calm seemed to settle over the hacienda, and all you could hear was the sound of your heart pounding in your chest.
Both of you heard a knock on the bathroom door, and Lalo's voice seeped through. Ignacio quickly opened the door, revealing a tired Lalo with dirt on his clothes, completely sweaty.
Nacho let go of you, and he watched as you ran towards your husband, embracing him tightly while Lalo reciprocated and reassured you.
He felt empty, but he couldn't say anything about it.

niño lindo (what if lalo and nacho had met before)
Lalo visits Albuquerque in 1992. He sees a 20 years old Nacho who barely looks up from the floor while Lalo scolds a 22 years old Tuco ("Ay, why would tío let a kid run this place?") Varga is a pretty young thing, looks strong enough too, but there's this glint in his eye when he finally raises his head to say something to Tuco. Lalo never forgets it.
In 1990, Lalo would call him mi ángel, mi cielito. Nacho would be blushing hard, and then going out of his way to look tough and impress Lalo. Lalo who would say "You still have a long way to go, cielito. But tell you what! Keep that up and who knows, maybe next time we meet I'll call you by your name".
Nacho in his early cartel years would already be smart, but terribly, terribly dumb if a handsome, powerful older man started paying attention to him. He hasn't been shot yet, he hasn't bled for the Salamancas. His dad is still none the wiser that he's slipping dirty money into the cash register at the shop.
Nacho is 20, going on 21, and on a power high. His usually sharp senses would absolutely fail him.
More ideas being thrown around below the cut
Tuco is too much of an idiot to put two and two together but he still warns Nacho ("Be careful, I love my cousin but he's a raging fag. Watch your ass") and Nacho blushes furiously.
Nacho was always the smart, silent type, partly because of his upbringing, but when he was younger, he didn't have any grudge. He just unabashedly drinks Lalo's words, let his enthusiasm show on his face. He would try to discipline himself, snap out of it because holy shit, this man is your boss, you're getting too comfortable and making a fool of yourself. Nacho just blushes a lot of the time.
Nacho believes he has good street cred, his higher reference being Tuco, only for Lalo to arrive and make Tuco look like an incapable child. To Nacho, ambitious, an outsider, it’s both irritating but also very impressive. To meet someone so good at being in charge. Lalo has that attractive effortlessness at being in charge of big things.
When Lalo has to go back to Mexico, when it's really sinking it that's Lalo's leaving, Nacho wants to blurt out "Take me with you". He doesn't, for a number of reasons. Lalo sees it and he could almost feel sorry for his cielito. Almost.
Unspoken words. Lalo was never going to offer Nacho to come with him, of course. He knows of other dons who keep boytoys around, but Lalo is young too, and wildly ambitious. He's not about to burden himself with a child.
He was someone's boytoy once. The man taught him everything. Just like Hector's abuse, Lalo rationalises it. He never pities himself. And now, he knows better than to humor a kid's infatuation. Lalo would make violent scenes to his mentor sometimes. Lalo doesn't think Nacho would stoop to that but with young love, who knows, it makes you do terrible things.
There's a number of reasons why Nacho doesn't ask, and a number of reasons why Lalo doesn't offer. He would not see it as breaking the cycle of abuse because, what abuse? He's thinking of himself.
Keeping Nacho as a pet would no doubt be a lot of fun, but ultimately not worth the hassle.
So it's even more significant when, years down the line, Lalo comes out of the lawyer's apartment, Nacho asks where to drive him to, and Lalo simply says "Mexico".
And Lalo thinks this will finally reel his Nachito in like "See? This can be us. I'm doing this for you. Now is our time". But the canon is still very much happening, and Nacho is doomed. Too little, too late.
(It adds another layer to the betrayal, too. It was trust that had taken Lalo 12 years to build) (like in canon, Lalo genuinely believes Nacho was ungrateful) (that he went against his family for money).
In 1992, Lalo could have snapped his fingers and Nacho would have dropped to his knees in reverence.
12 years later, when they meet again, Nacho is not as keen. They didn't really think about each other during that time (once Nacho got over his heartbreak) (a year after Lalo left Albuquerque, Nacho saw from the other side of the night club a man who looked a bit like him and his heart does a little jump, and of course it was just a guy who looked like Lalo, and fuck, he had thought he was over it, but not completely, not yet, it seems).
When they meet again, Nacho thinks there's no way Lalo would remember some green, no name chicano. He's wary of Lalo because he's annoyed for being played at 20, but he's even more annoyed at his past self for getting played. So he doesn't bring it up. What would be the point? Lalo doesn't either anyway.
But Lalo remembers, of course he does. As soon as he saw these eyes again he remembered (meanwhile, Nacho never forgot his voice, and his words) (Nacho remembers how Lalo gave him his love for old cars, how he cooked him food so flavorful he chased that taste for years in the hopes of finding it again) (after losing his mom's warm, homemade cooking, he lost Lalo's).
In 1992, Nacho still had a full head of dark curls. When Lalo sees him again he's more muscular, his head is buzzed. His eyes though. They're still gorgeous. Lalo sees they've lost their innocence, but the shimmer of intelligence that he saw that time... That's still very much there. A deadlier weapon, a knife sharpened on the Salamanca edge.
Lalo knows how much Nacho liked his food back then, and so he knows, with how well contained Nacho’s expressions are, with his composure, that the man standing before him has changed.
Lalo enjoys this older, mature Nacho. Over the years he heard he was doing well for himself and serving the Salamancas as he should (just like Lalo predicted). Plus now his cielito has some bite! Lalo thinks "That's what was missing", and smiles to himself.
But God, does his amorcito still looks like an angel. Even if by now its an angel of death.
Lalo likes to observe Nacho closely to catch glimpses of his younger self, constantly looking to see if he's still in there. When Nacho opens himself, offers to kill Domingo, Lalo gets to catch a glimpse of his cielito. He is still in there. It's almost endearing.
Meanwhile, for Nacho, it's a revelation to get to see Lalo again, this mountain of a person in his mind up close and real again.
He reverts back, if just for a moment, to his younger self when he sees Lalo again ― back to that 20 year old kid who couldn’t even look that particular Salamanca in the eye, knees shaky and cheeks flushed. Despite being older now, weathered by the job, tougher and sharper, he has to lie to himself and insist he’s not afraid.
A scared boy, in way over his head, ordered around like a dog, his leash just handed from one person to another. Nacho swallows and pretends he doesn’t know that Lalo is going to be gripping that leash tighter than anyone ever has.
So Lalo still makes his blood run cold and his heart falter (a combination that scares the shit out of him), but the gap between them seems to be closing, he feels like he's catching up to Lalo. He knows he has to manipulate him.
Older Nacho knows better than to fall (again) for Lalo's pet names. But when Lalo leaves, young Nacho can't stop thinking "What was that about then?" He's bitter. Still smart enough not to make a scene but, oh man, did he fall fast. His mind a swirl of cielito, cariño, amorcito, niño lindo. "What was that then, what was that about?" (he probably punches a wall or two about it).
Older Nacho pretends he's not interested, he's not that kid anymore, while seducing of Lalo on purpose and feigning ignorance. Once he's home, he jerks off to Lalo like his life depends on it. Like he used to.
When they finally touch each other by the bonfire, after years and years of yearning, Nacho just about loses his mind. So does Lalo, and he strains to hide it just as badly.
Thank you @themadknightuniverse @karlavhh @gerandor @chocopinda @nostalgic-shamefest @scftpink for writing this with me ❤️

Poly!Lacho x GN!Reader ~ Enemy Within Pt. 3
Tumblr media
A/N: This is to go along with this pitch I made, along with part 1 & part 2 of this fic. This makes me happy & I'm writing this while rewatching the good place. (NGL, an ask made me want to finish this)
Prompt: Lacho (Lalo x Nacho) x Reader where Lalo & Nacho live in a big home & eventually the reader either stays the night or ends up living with them. This is in the time when Lalo & Gus are going head to head & thanks to Mike, Gus knows about the reader. Gus orders his men to kidnap the reader, beat them up, then frees them & pretends to be a good samaritan that saves them & brings them home to Lalo & Nacho. Gus uses this to get into Lalo & Nacho's home to find out their plans & Lalo & Nacho, who haven't told the reader about their business, are freaking out that Gus is now basically the reader's best friend. ~ Yours Truly
Contains: Feeling trapped, Non-canon events, Blood, Gunshots, Character Death
Word Count: ~1k
You hesitated for a moment before standing up from your spot on the bed & moving to sit against the door. Your mind wouldn't let you admit it but being close to Ignacio again calmed you a bit.
You held your knees close to your chest, "Tell me everything."
So he did. Everything he could think of at that moment, he did his best to pause & let you process things when he said something heavy. This was one of those moments.
"So... you & Lalo... have killed people?"
The pause was longer than intended, "Yes."
The silence continued to linger, "Am I safe?"
There was no more time for silence between the two of you, "Of course, Àngel, we would never hurt you. That whole thing you saw downstairs was because we never want to see you hurt! I know you don't believe us but Gus is the one who hurt you, we were trying to make sure he couldn't do that ever again! We just want-"
A gunshot rang through the house. Your stomach dropped, despite all that you had seen tonight you still worried that the person shot downstairs was Lalo.
"Ignacio," worry laced your tone.
You heard him scramble against the door, "Stay here. Don't come out until I say so."
Ignacio's footsteps faded away & you were completely alone with your thoughts.
Ignacio stepped down the stairs cautiously, gun already in hand, any ounce of discreetness thrown out the window. A voice erupted from the silence.
"What have you done?!" Bolsa's shock caused Ignacio's heart to race, "The man you just shot is our number one profit source!"
Lalo let a chuckle slip, "Was."
Gus let out an agonal groan as Lalo attempted to move him. Bolsa pulled out his gun & pointed it at Lalo.
"I'm sorry, I can't allow you to finish him off. He needs medical help & he will receive it."
Lalo placed a hand on his gun as Bolsa's gun clicked back, causing the former to freeze in place.
"Lalo, move your hand off the gun."
His hand did not move an inch.
"Move your hand, Lalo, now," he was met with silence, "You have three seconds! Three, two-"
Another gunshot rang through the house. Your soul jumped out of your body. You wanted to run away as fast & as far as you could but you effectively trapped yourself in your bedroom. There was a long period of silence that made you want to claw at your skin until some form of escape formed. The silence was swiftly broken by footsteps, heavy & fast. Just as quickly the footsteps turned into knocking, no, slamming on the door that kept the rest of the world away from you. A pistol cocked then shot, & the door was thrown open. You covered your head with your hands & became as small as possible in the corner you had found yourself in.
Someone grabbed your hands tight & pulled them down from your face, "Querida!"
You looked up to see a very bloody Lalo Salamanca sitting in front of you. Part of you waited for him to fall dead at your feet, his assailant standing over him, but he didn't. This was real.
"What's happening? Where's Ignacio?!"
"What?" He had a smirk on his face that made it seem like you had just told a dumb joke, "He's downstairs. I- Alive, he wanted me to come get you, tell you that everything is okay!"
"Who got shot?!"
"It doesn't matter, Ignacio, you, & I are okay. Let's get some stuff packed, we're going on a vacation!"
A vacation?
"What do you mean?"
"Querida," he dragged out, "You know what a vacation is."
"Why? Where are we going?" Your questions continued.
Lalo simply brushed them away, placing a hand on each of your shoulders, "Y/N, don't waste time with these silly questions. Pack your things, hmm?"
That smile continued to unnerve you. Your husband stepped away from you & grabbed some suitcases from the closet. With one motion he placed them both on the bed before returning to the closet to grab one more. You walked up to one of the bags & opened it. It seemed to be Ignacio's by the look of the shirts. In the top compartment, there was a gun, a set of fake I.D.s, & a ton of money. You stepped back harshly into Lalo's chest.
"This one's yours," he spoke, grabbing your hand & wrapping it around the suitcase's handle.
You looked at him before turning back to set the suitcase on the bed. You opened it slowly revealing a similar setup to the other suitcase. The I.D.s caught your eye. You grabbed one, running your thumb over it. They had prepared for this day, maybe they meant to tell you. Now was the time when you noticed the blood that covered your wrists, Lalo's hands must've been bloody. You tried to wipe it off to no avail, it did not help you feel any better. Footsteps rapidly approached & you noticed Lalo pull out his gun as he stepped toward you.
"Who is that?" You asked to which he quickly shushed you.
A bloody hand rested on the doorframe, heavy breathing becoming the only sound in the room. The hand fell to a brightly colored shirt, Ignacio too attempted to wipe the blood away.
He stepped towards you as he spoke, "I'm sorry I had to step away, Àngel, Lalo wanted me to- I mean," he let out a sigh, "I was hiding the bodies."
"Gus is dead?" You asked, scared.
"& Bolsa," Lalo cheerily spoke as his hand hit your shoulder again, "Let's not dwell on the past. Ignacio, get your bag packed & help Y/N. I'll get the car ready."
Ignacio stepped next to you as Lao left the room, he opened the drawer behind him & grabbed a couple of your shirts before placing them in your suitcase. You were stunned by Lalo's attitude, Ignacio seemed to notice. He let out a sigh & looked at the floor. He offered you his hands, bloody & all. You took them cautiously.
"I know what you're thinking. How can Lalo be like that? He's just kind of... different. His family is crazy & he's just another product of that," his explanation was bad, but how would you explain this, "But I promise, he loves us very much. He would do anything for us, especially you. He didn't want to tell you because he thought telling you would put you in danger."
You nodded & Ignacio returned to filling your suitcase & soon you were out front, handing your suitcase to Lalo. He tossed it in the trunk & paused to look at you, giving you a soft smile. He directed you both into the back seat. Within half an hour you were at the airport, climbing into a private jet. In any other circumstances, you would be insanely excited & talkative, but the whole jet was silent aside from your footsteps. The silence was broken when Lalo returned from the restroom with clean hands, pulling you into a hug.
"Let's get out of here then we can get (your favorite food) & talk about what happened?" He spoke softly.
Even Ignacio's eyes went a little wide at that statement, Lalo had never been a softy. He regretted lying to you & Ignacio. He felt as though it was all his fault, & maybe it was. But somehow he knew, the only way he could fix it now was by being better in the future. That's exactly what he intended to do, & Ignacio was right, he would do anything to protect you."
A/N: Idk where I'd go with this. If you want me to continue it & have any idea please suggest it! I'd be happy to do a one shot as well! Alright have a nice night

favorite nacho canon moment / your interpretation or how it changed his character for you
Imma be a basic bitch and say it's the parkour scene! Before Lalo's arrival, Nacho wasn't really doing anything all that impressive, save the scheme with Tuco, and that was going against the Salamancas. The parkour scene was to impress one of them. He didn't need to do that. He didn't need to literally risk jail time just to impress one (Albeit handsome and charming) man. He literally could have died, and he did it anyway to prove himself to Lalo. Even considering the whole Fring thing, that was going above and beyond, literally. The scene in the kitchen at El Mich got my curiosity, but the parkour scene was the one that got me truly interested in the lacho ship. Nacho's got something going on in that pretty head of his from then on out, and it's not just because of Gus breathing down his neck.
But also: The oil baptism scene. Nacho as a Christ figure is literally my favorite thing. Boy is a poster boy for Catholic Guilt, and this self-performed baptism just speaks so much to his character! He's out! He's not safe and he's not gonna survive long at all, but it's a metaphorical cleansing, and I love it so very much. And also when he's hosing off and this random stranger offers to help. It's the last kindness he receives, depending on if you count Mike giving him a drink to ease the pain of the upcoming beating. Like… Ouch. Everything about Nacho and his character arc hearts my heart.

I keep forgetting I can just make unhinged rambling tumblr posts on my ideas instead of necessarily immediately writing them all so here is What If Nacho Was a Salamanca and Lalo Was a Varga: The Lacho AU in text post form
first we gotta think about what changes there'd be to their personalities based on their upbringings. then what's the same? nature vs. nurture. both are important aspects of people's identities.
Nacho Salamanca
Ignacio Salamanca is born in the 70s, the first new Salamanca after a long dry spell. because of this, his birth is a celebratory event, and he's summarily spoiled as the first baby of the generation by Hector and the others.
(Tuco is born a few months later, and still has a bug up his ass about getting the middle child treatment. stupid doe-eyed cousin.)
being brought up in that environment, I feel, would foster a lot of nastiness in Nacho. in canon, we see that his father is basically his "morality pet," the one who makes him regret joining the cartel, but what about without that? think of s1 Nacho. scary, ruthless, threatening violence easily. can you imagine that sort of personality raised as a Salamanca?
of course, he wouldn't be a Tuco. in fact, he'd still be the only person capable of calming Tuco down (they've got a great relationship apart from Tuco's jealousy). Nacho isn't the type to fly off the handle at the slightest provocation.
he is, however, the type who will methodically stalk you until he knows your routines, then kidnap you and skin you inch by inch in front of your lover if you cross him.
Nacho is a calm kind of insane. personable, affable, smug and sarcastic in equal measures. he won't always get his revenge right away, but he'll remember what you did and make sure you pay for it.
and he's, like the rest, fiercely loyal to his family. you cross them? you're dead in the most painful way possible. he'll do it with a smirk, too.
Lalo Varga
Eduardo Varga is born to a simple family a little over a decade before the Salamancas welcome Nacho into their lives. his mother passes early on in his life, but he has her eyes and her laugh and her cooking skills that Manuel could never quite master.
being raised by Manuel would not fix Lalo entirely, I think, but it would make him markedly better. a friendly, jocular, caring man who loves his single father more than the world. you know how he looks at Hector in canon, like the sun shines out of his ass? that's how he looks at Manuel now.
for years, he works happily with his father at the shop. until one day when he's re-upholstering some seats and finds a big brick of drugs... and, well, money has been tight for so long.
it isn't long before the Salamancas find out someone they don't know is peddling their drugs -- in THEIR territory, no less (Lalo's not stupid, but he's definitely not wise to the ways of the game at first). not kicking up any money to the supplier, not respecting the Salamancas enough to meet them properly.
The Meet-Cute
rather than living in Mexico like Lalo, I think it'd be interesting if Nacho lived in ABQ with Tuco. he's smart, so he's the one they task with finding the stray little dealer.
Lalo doesn't cover his tracks nearly well enough, so Nacho does. has some burly men throw a bag over Lalo's head and bring him to the Salamancas.
then he's on trial in a kangaroo court, fighting for his life. he doesn't beg or plead or cry. he's charismatic, charming, a talker. apologizes and pays respects and explains his situation, but never weeps for mercy like some wretched, pathetic little thing.
Nacho likes that.
so it's Nacho who talks down his less forgiving primo and tio. death sentence to probation: Lalo sells for them, properly, for a while, and they get to decide if he stays in the business or if he and his father get capped.
and what can Lalo do but obey?
The Conclusion
I just think it'd be hot okay. imagine Nacho as the lowkey unhinged one and Lalo as the peppy, cute daddy's boy. making each other worse slowly in different ways as Lalo gives Nacho the dokis and Nacho gives Lalo a newfound appreciation for hurting people who cross you and your family.
thanks for coming to my TED talk.

dance with the Devil
Tumblr media
Pairing: Lalo x Nacho
Author’s Note: So remember that post I made about a year ago talking about Lalo forcing Nacho to dance? Yeah I finally wrote a fic for it. This one goes out to you @michaelmandog
Warnings: Canon typical violence, spoilers for Better Call Saul
Word count: 5,5k
5 times Lalo wanted to dance and the 1 time Nacho did.
I. Coushatta
It was just Nacho’s luck he had to deal with another Salamanca. The family was like a bunch of hydras. You cut one head off and two more grew back instantly. Getting Tuco locked up spawned Hector, and immobilizing Hector sent Eduardo Salamanca to him. At first glance, Lalo didn’t appear to be much of a threat. Offering him a taco he’d just cooked, smiling at Nacho like he was happy to see him.
No sane person was ever that happy and it bothered Nacho.
Lalo didn’t draw much attention to himself that first day, eating his tacos quietly, only asking the necessary questions here and there while Nacho and Domingo took care of the rest. It was later, when Blingy was short on cash again, that Nacho’s suspicions were confirmed about the newest Salamanca family member.
Cold and calculating, like a lion ready to pounce on its prey, Lalo narrowed his eyes on the dealer. He slammed Blingy’s head into the table, the loud thump ringing inside El Michoacáno. Lalo asked him if he thought it was funny to try and screw them out of money like this. He was eerily calm waiting for the response, resembling a parent waiting for their kid to fess up about lying.
When Blingy didn’t answer, Lalo ripped his ear off.

Sharing a tiny part of the Lacho fic I'm working on. It's a lot of character study at the start, using Nacho's existence to analyze both Nacho and Lalo. It slowly merges with more and more scenes as it goes, and how Nacho feels through the events. It follows the canon lore for the biggest part, adding scenes left untold in the series, some deleted scenes content (not the Lalo's shower one tho, I replaced it with something else. Risky, I know.) with a pinch of Lacho on top. Things start to change from the canon events once we reach Lalo's house. It's a very slow burn. This is still a WIP (currently 48k words), but I'm seeing the end of it all so I thought I would start to share a piece of it. Also, english isn't my first language so please keep that in mind 🙏 Hope you enjoy!
Lalo was one of the noisiest and loudest person Ignacio had encountered. The man seemed to always have something to say, like a perpetual flow of thoughts being poured into the world with no filter for pertinence. Most people may think the man devoid of self control, or overly interested in everything. Hell, some even thought the man to be friendly, but Ignacio knew better.
He knew not to believe in the smiles, the energetic inflections of the man's voice, his relaxed attitude. Because Lalo was nothing but that caricature of a happy man he was pulling up everyday.
Time was required to notice the little things. The first one was his mere presence and confidence that crushed you. Some people stayed frozen in that overwhelming first feeling, impressed or admiring of his charisma, and never saw the danger looking at them right in the eyes.
But after a while, if you get to meet the man for a longer period of time —or worse, work for him— then the tiniest bits of threats flashed in a word, a look, a shifting in his stance, his presence morphing into something that triggered your sense of insecurity. Even if he was on the other side of a room, his simple existence now weighed on your shoulders, boring holes into your head as if he was constantly staring at your back, making cold sweat gather along your spine.
He would keep using this carefree and light tone in his voice, lulling you into a fake friendliness, as if any past error was forgotten, only to switch to a sudden hardness, throwing people off the fake safeness he cautiously built, leaving no space for questioning the order.
Then there was his demeanor. Lalo moved like a carefree man. Uncaring of danger. Of risks. Of threats. Because he was above the biggest part of it, and he knew it. So he strutted, arms hanging at his sides, completely opened to the world. Almost inviting anyone to try and attend to his life, a smile spread on his face as if the mere idea was hilarious. His confidence was so high he entered every places with no discretion. He demanded and took whatever he wanted whenever he wanted. Because he always had everything he wished.
Ignacio met many Salamanca. Tuco, a wild beast capable to kill his own friend when he was too high. Hector, sadistic and obsessed with his family reputation. The cousins, two halves of a deadly mechanism, moving in sync as one entity, silent and brutal. But despite their common traits for violence and destruction, there was something unique to Lalo.
Ignacio knew. He knew from the very first second the man turned around to face him in that kitchen. He knew something was off. He knew because he never seen such eyes ever before. Even when his smile reached his eyes, the singular glint of life was absent in them. The orbs were dark. Empty. Soulless.

"intimidating" better call saul characters and how i think they would take their coffee:
gus fring: takes it black, but on the last saturday of every month he allows himself one sugar and one cream.
hector salamanca: canonically drinks straight espresso. this thought makes my head hurt as i personally can only drink espresso if its doused with milk and sugar.
marco and leonel salamanca: black but its really fucking watered down. watered down to the point it's not even good.
tuco salamanca: espresso, but probably tops it off with like red bull or something else fucking awful.
lalo salamanca: off topic, but he absolutely has a fully functioning home coffee bar at his house. he can make anything, but he makes a mean mocha. also off topic but he'd have the nicest goddamn cups.
nacho varga: big bad man nacho varga takes his coffee with so much cream and sugar it might as well just be sweetened milk.
betsy kettleman: does not drink coffee. claims its a drug. swears by hot chocolate.
erin brill: drinks tea and she's pretentious about it.

Just a few musings - I know you’ve mentioned the headcanon (supported by Tony Dalton himself) that Lalo was expected to be the educated Salamanca and went to university in the States, but how do you think he felt about it? While he’s clearly a very intelligent man he doesn’t strike me as the conventionally academic sort and I can see him spending all his college years socialises at the expense of his studies. I especially like the idea that as part of his well rounded education he was expected to learn multiple languages but with the exception of English (since as you mentioned his mum might have been American) he never picked up one. But he probably still breaks into nonsense French or Latin any time he wants to sound smart.
You can definitely argue that - this is one of those issues that's really on the outside of canon because we don't know enough about Lalo to know how he would feel about school. It's possible he didn't take it seriously - I mean, he doesn't seem to take anything that seriously, not even getting shot in the throat. I hadn't considered the idea that he was chosen by the family to be the one who got an education, which I really like - there's a lot of potential there.
But my highly personal head canon (to be taken with a grain of salt!) is that he did well in school. I also think he wanted to go and went to school in spite of the Salamancas. Salamancas don't seem big on strategy - it's all brute force with them, "Salamanca muscle." I'm not sure if they'd value a college education, particularly since it would involve Lalo being away for several years when he could be learning the drug trade. (But again, I could definitely be talked into the idea that the family realized that by some miracle, they somehow got a Smart kid, and decided to make the most of it by sending him to get some book learnin'.)
So I think he wanted to go, either for himself or to please his gringa mother who wanted him to have some connection with the US. And maybe it was a mildly rebellious thing for him to do - like, if you're from a family of criminals, doing something respectable is the way you'd thumb your nose at your family.
As for partying, while Lalo doesn't shy away from it, he really seems happiest when he has something to puzzle over. He's charming at Eladio's party, but that's wheeling and dealing more than him enjoying himself. He plays poker with his underlings, but that seemed more like a way to get to know who he was working with (like how he christens Ocho Loco - it was more interesting for him to learn about the kind of guy Domingo was than it was for him to win). He also loves to drive fast cars, like when he has Nacho take him to the track, but I get the sense that the real fun for him is tinkering around with the engine, which is more about fixing a problem than an adrenaline rush.
The moments he really seems to be enjoying himself, to me, are when he's doing his detective work. Look at the whole "Werner Ziiiieegler" scene in 5x01 - his whole "what's he up to, man? What's he doing?" doesn't seem frustrated to me - he's got a big smile on his face, excited the game is afoot. This doesn't necessarily mean that he'd like school, but to me it shows that he's more of a brainy guy than a party boy like Tuco.
I've said before that I think of him as a Classics major, because I think he would identify with the larger-than-life figures and bloody history, but also the philosophy. Because I think philosophy would also be a good major for him (and uh, it's actually going to come up later in my current Lacho WIP 👀). I like this idea because you can work Tony's yin-yang tattoo into Lalo's character if he has an interest in philosophical traditions. (I think I'll make a separate post about Lalo and philosophy because this is already so long, as usual lol)

What au tropes do you think would work with Lacho? My first thought is barista au but instead of a coffe shop, Nacho is a regular at Lalo's restaurant ❤️
@prostatemilkerlalo and i have a couple of aus
lalo opens a trendy restaurant in abq (it's a money laundering business); nacho still just works for his dad; nacho ends up falling in love with the food and then lalo -- so yes, the coffee shop au set-up works for them :)
priest!nacho and demon!lalo
stripper!nacho and cartel!lalo
soccer player!nacho and coach!lalo
modern au where nacho works for Salamanca Logistics and is the secretary that does nothing and lalo is taking over the company
i also have a lacho hockey au in the works, where nacho is a defenseman and lalo is an athletic trainer whom mike tasks with making nacho get out of his head.
i'm also a big fan of canon-adjacent aus, and i fully intend to write s1!nacho meeting lalo!

Reality shifters: Or just anyone into the multiverse theory Hear me out A Better Call Saul/ Breaking Bad Universe Where Trump was president at that time in the timeline. Imagine Gustavo Fring Tuco Salamanca Or Lalo Salamanca Turning on the television and bursting into laughter every three seconds. Like imagine: It’s 2017, Lalo turns in the television, Trump *talking about the wall*: “You have to be able to see through it... When they throw the large sacks of drugs over, and if you have people on the other side and you don’t see them- they hit you on the head with 60pound of stuff? It’s over. As crazy as it sounds, you need transparency through that wall.” Lalo: *fucking dies laughing*

here’s all my hcs about gay brba/bcs characters’ relationships to and experience with their homosexuality just for funsies
gus - understood himself to be totally disinterested in girls since like age 8, didn’t realize that that meant he was interested in boys until his late teens. had really no hangups about it, as he already knew that he wasn’t like other men and would never be like them, so this didn’t make a difference. def had some one-off sexual experience while serving in the chilean military but frankly didn’t even imagine he would ever be in a serious relationship until he met max
max - knew from a young age due to being in love with a childhood best friend, but had his heart broken. dealt with internal shame over it for a while, but by his mid-20s was kind of working his way through all the other gay men in the communist party of chile. it never worked out with them for more than a month or so. and of course he finally shacked up with a literal member of the junta fgfdfvfds
mike - the lack of ANY canon details about his marriage other than that it lasted 22 years, including the fact that he never even says the word “wife”, makes me wanna think that his spouse wasn’t even a woman. i’m thinking two possibilities: 1) he had a kid with a woman who ran off after the fact, leaving him a single father, and soon after he privately “married” a man who acted as a second father to matty, or 2) his husband was trans. in any case due to the time period i have to think he was deeply closeted for much of his life, perhaps he gave in and went to a gay bar after returning home from the vietnam war and that’s where he met his future husband.
gale - no way that that fruit was ever NOT obvious. he’s always been THE weird gay kid and he’s owned it. he was the head of UNM’s GSA, he’s organized pride parades, he’s written spirk fanfic, the whole nine yards. the only thing that’s kept him from long-term relationships are his strong controversial opinions. also definitely has a crush on gus.
nacho - has known he’s gay most of his life, likely initially through a crush on domingo, but has remained completely in the closet in order to maintain his image and his safety. if it were just his relationship with his father that he was worried about, he could get away with simply not being obvious about having a bf - but he’s also stuck in the deeply homophobic environment that is the cartel. hence the two entire girlfriends. they maintain his cover (whether they know they’re a cover or not) and in return, he takes care of them. when he’s feeling particularly pent-up and can find the time, he’ll go out to a gay club to hook up. but the closest thing he’s had to a meaningful relationship with another man are the feelings he used to have (and still occasionally gets) for domingo and the dynamic he has with lalo.
lalo - due to his environment, he could unfortunately comprehend sex long before he could comprehend romance - but even with lust being the only thing on the table, he’d grown up without having his desires questioned and so he still confidently knew that he only wanted it with men. the salamancas could always tell that something was “off” about him and he could tell that they could tell, but he knew that ultimately nothing would be done about it as long as he served the family. so he’s never bothered to really keep it a secret. he’s had many flings and treated them all seriously, knowing well enough that his affections would fade and that he would move on after a bit. nacho’s likely the first one to challenge that, as he’s the first guy to also be in the cartel and not fear him and therefore to really Get him.
howard - realized through a fling with jimmy, back when he worked in the mailroom. started with a drunken makeout in a closet at an HHM christmas party, turned into a series of rendevous that ended when jimmy decided that howard was ashamed of him and that he’d only ever be howard’s dirty little secret. the truth was that howard’s reputation and therefore privilege was on the line, and he just couldn’t risk that becoming known about him. and he likely doesn’t become ready to let people know that until after chuck’s death, after he’s gotten therapy. in the meantime he’s neglected to get married and has honestly probably been pining for jimmy the whole time.
jimmy - not gay but bi, but still included here bc i gotta. similar to gus his realization that he liked men was just like “ok cool just another way i’m unique :)”. he had it in highschool when following through with a drunken dare to suck a dick, and he also realized that he was pretty good at it. tbh i think he might’ve done it as a side-gig whenever the scams he pulled with marco were coming up a little dry. it’s very fitting that he later gets repeatedly told he’s The Guy With The Mouth.

scorpio and aquarius!
scorpio: how much research did you have to do for your current wip?
You don't even know, it's ridiculous how much research went into Recuerdo that barely even makes it into the end product!
I have a whole google doc full of Salamanca facts, and tbh I spent more time than anything on the Salamanca family timeline...! It all started with being frustrated/amused about the canon flasbacks and other Salamanca facts being such a mess and me then getting way too invested in making it work somehow anyway orz
And then I have like five more pages on symptoms of antisocial personality disorder in children, plus some examples of manic behavior I thought could fit, just as an inspiration for fleshing out younger Lalo.
It’s wild! I know for other writers, that’s probably a pretty standard amount of research, but I’m really not used to this - I usually don't do any, or just quickly read up about one central thing to get some inspiration and that’s it. Fics are low planning, full indulgence for me! But once I started a Salamanca doc, things got out of hand and now I'm writing a multichapter fic about Lalo’s life ???
I guess it shows that I just really suffer from Lalo withdrawal </3
-
what was the weirdest thing you had to google?
The dumbest thing I googled was probably "are there crickets in Mexico"...
I honestly don’t know what qualifies as “weirdest” because that’s just what fic writing is: googling inappropriate things!
Some choice things I've googled for the next chapters are:
- 70s/80s cars and car paint colors
- how severe blood loss affects your thinking (and how likely you’d make dumb decisions then)
- multiple quora threads about whether and in how far the loss of a family member affects psychopaths (which are btw a great insightful read, lots of ppl sharing their experiences)
- gifts for prison inmates!
- how to destroy a bicycle (it’s hard and there’s a huge amount of trolling video on youtube for some reason, it’s bizarre)
- what it'd be like to stand behind someone who gets shot in the head (turns out: not fun)
- popular candy bars in the 80s in the US
Oh, the joys of writing about events set in the 80s and in two countries you are not first-hand familiar with... :,D
*
(oops you wrote aquarius!! it’s way too hot and my brain is barely functioning dfkdflk - the most unique thing about my current wip is definitely that it’s multichapter! i haven’t written a multichapter fic on my own for over ten years - it’s exciting and daunting!)
sagittarius: do you find your writing humorous? do you have any comic relief characters?
I love writing awkward, funny smut and humorous moments, especially funny dialogue - but I wouldn’t say my writing is humorous. Most of the time, the humor in my fics lies in the disconnect between a character's perspective and reality - for example, a character being obviously wrong or mistaken, but too full of themselves to see the irony of their thoughts / situation (like Ford Pines or Seto Kaiba).  I have a lot of fun writing characters being self-absorbed hilarious douchebags!
I don’t like comic relief characters all that much, but I like writing characters that are utterly ridiculous! <3
what do you do if a scene gets too serious?
Idk I enjoy writing a lot of things that might be considered serious? There can be fun in a character’s suffering!
I guess my go-to method if I want to keep things from becoming too much of a drag and sort of lighten up dark fics is a pinch of sarcasm and irony.
Things being aesthetically pleasing is more important to me than humor though - I enjoy writing pretty words and describing messed up but gorgeous things more than anything. Basically, I rarely think about whether a scene needs more humor, but I sorta make sure every scene has something to offer in terms of aesthetic, be it haunting, weird, pretty and/or kinky! I get bored otherwise sdfkdlf
