King Bowser! Raph head canons

Wanted to hop on the train of the Four kings au with some head canons! Going off of the 2023 Mario movie and just what I know about Bowser in my experience (which isn't a whole lot so I'm sorry if some things are not accurate)--

CW: Kidnapping, Implied violence?

Much like Bowser, King Raph would be a powerful and often feared ruler to the other Kingdoms. He is seen as aggressive and impulsive, quick to react with a fight if anything offends the King. His anger can blind him, which as much as it can get him what he wants- it also can be his downfall.

But he is not heartless. Raph takes good care of his kingdom and his people, which leads to his citizens being very loyal to his cause. So long as you follow his rule, you are protected under his care. I mean, have you seen how the King fawns and babies the stray animals he finds?

Big puppy energy. This man is very lonely and kind of awkward when it comes to anything outside of war and conflict. He leans more towards a tsundere way of dealing with his feelings, brushing them off as quickly as they come with a huff of smoke from his nostrils or a growl. He is the King. He must not show weakness. But around you, he like an excited puppy. Stumbling over his words and twiddling his claws like a love drunken fool.

Would do absolutely anything for you. Want to sit on his throne? Go ahead! A piranha plant bit you? It can't bite you anymore when its ash! He would conquer any land or defeat any foe if it meant keeping you by his side. Just say the words and he's sending armies to take care of it. Has absolutely no idea how to be normal about crushes. Raph always just takes what he wants, why would you be any different? Expect to be kidnapped a lot by this big guy. Doesn't matter if you live in his kingdom or not, he will always find a way to snag you away to spend time with you. Though he is very gentle with you, so you are never harmed in these schemes. You seem to be the only person he can't be truly angry at. It's... a bit unnerving to his guards sometimes. But if keeping you around means they get thrown into the dungeon less, they don't really mind. If you choose to come with him willingly, he is over the moon! He is all over you giving you affection, carrying you around in his arms like the princess he sees you as (Though he hopes to soon make you a Queen). Despite all his spikes and his horns and sharp teeth, he is very cuddly. He'll often rest his head in your lap with his arms wrapped around you, churring loudly as you give him head rubs and gentle scritches. His tail will thump loudly behind him as well, which has knocked things off of shelves and tables more than once with the mini earthquakes it produces. Is very quick to jealousy. King Raph is often seen as scary or seen as a monster most times, which leaves him insecure about his appearance from time to time. He's afraid that you're scared of him too and will leave him for someone less 'monstrous' like his brothers, making him very clingy each time he thinks you're showing any signs of disinterest towards him. You're the one person he does not want scared of him. Please don't leave him or see him as a monster. His heart wouldn't be able to take it. :(

Overall, Raph is very brash and impulsive, but very kind and compassionate as well. Gives kind of wet cat energy in a weird way. He really is just trying his best here, even if his actions come off as intense.

Annnd this is the semiofficial Reptilian Swag Wars and it’s entrees. If enough people agree to participate (through reply, reblog, an ask, whatever you can come up with) I’ll set up an official voting. A poll for each round would be set up on google forms, each round having a day to carry out, the first theoretically beginning on Oct 10th.

Ok- Bowser!Raph has been marching around my head for a while now so I humbly offer a wip I’m writing about him- can be read as platonic or romantic-

When you received a letter that was clearly meant for someone else, your first line of thought was to send it back to the post office and go about your day.

You weren’t expecting another letter form the unknown sender expressing their gratitude for you ensuring it was delivered to its proper owner.

Nor were you expecting to fall into routine correspondence with the stranger, that quickly intertwined themselves in your day-to-day routine.

And really weren’t expecting a whole carriage to arrive outside your home after your last letter jokingly mentioned wanted to meet your pen pal.

And you really weren’t expecting to be escorted by-what was essentially a small army of fully equipped soldiers to the KOOPA KINGS PALACE!

Rottmnt four kings au x fem reader

A new world?

(So I’m going to make it seem that the reader is more of a southern and country style thigh there home in a more forest area. So sorry if some of you don’t like it like that.)

It was another day as you were taking care of your dogs and chickens out side of your house.You had to take care of your self since you’re mom had to go of the to another city for work for a month since she was a nurse.

Plus you had a job as animator and voice actor at home. Even if you were barely in your second year of high school that you took online at home.

Even if you we’re stuck home doing all the chores in the house at the time. You just playing video games and watching childhood movies in my spare time.

After a bit you went outside to go fill up the chickens water tanks and give them there food. As you finished giving the chickens there food you got reader to go inside. Until you see one of the chickens run off into the woods.

You ran after the chicken which only scared it more as it then ran to the area of a small river that led up to a grain pipe that was sticking out of the ground that had a lot of plants all over it.

You then caught up to it from a distance and not scare it away again. The chicken that jumped on top of the side of the tube then you slowly got closer to the chicken.The chicken then jumper over the old pipe as it saw you approaching. You then tried to get the chicken the second it was still on the pipe.

But the chicken got away last second and you ended up on top of the pipe spreed out on top of it as you grunted in pain from hitting the pipe in the process. A second later the tube slowly started to glow a light blue from under you.

Before you could question what was happening the tube then sucked you in as you were then transported into a type of tube systems that were in “the sky”!?

The next thing you know you were now shot out of another pipe from a wall this time. As you were shot out you hit a bunch of giant mushroom the size of a two story house.

That sent you in so many diferente detections in a short and fast amount of time then landed on another that broke your fall. As you rolled of it and landed on the ground on your back.

You got off the ground and rubbed your head from the fall. Then looked around as you saw that you were now In a area made of only mushrooms of different sizes and colors. From regular little small ones to ones as big as houses.

What….the? What is this place?

You then looked all around the area until her eyes landed on a blue mushroom that was at the hight of her knees. She then goes over to the mushroom holding her right arm out to touch it.

But before she got the chance to a creature that looked to have a mushroom for a head or hat jumped out from behind the blue mushroom.

Do not touch that mushroom you will die!

The creature yelled out as it waved its hands as a warning to you. You stumble back in fear at the sudden creatures appearance as you fall on the ground.

Oh sorry. This one is perfectly safe.

The creature told you at hugged the mushroom then got on the ground and helped up.

Wow your a human and is new to here are you?

Umm yeah I’m human….and who or we’ll what are you?

You said as you brushed you’re self of from the fall. Then slowly tack a few steps back a bit scared.

Oh I’m a toad and my name is toad. Ironic isn’t it? Sorry about the scare from earlier.

Oh it’s ok I’m just a bit shaken up from being launched out from the pipe.

You said as you take a few deep breaths to calm your self a bit.

Well is there anyway to get me how since the last I saw the pipe I got out of it kinda got destroyed from how old it was.

Well I’m not the best at the pipes out here. But I’m always up fro helping someone. So if you want I can take you to someone that can help you. If you want?

The creature now named toad told you starting off a bit sad not being able to help you right away. But then looked at you with a smile giving you a answer on how he would help.

Yes please I would appreciate it if you could take me to someone to help me!

You said happy knowing that there could be someone to help you.

Ok then in that case I’ll take you to my home the mushroom kingdom!

the toad told you then started to run away and jump on top of a few big mushrooms. Oh Wait for me!

you yelled out as you ran after the small mushroom guy. Climbing, running, and jumping over big mushrooms of many different sizes heights and colors. Until after a good fifteen minutes that felt like a hour of fallowing the toad. You both stop on one mushroom as you start to catch you breath then you looked up and saw a bunch of rounded hills and the biggest one on top of them all having a White castle with a red roof.

wow!

I know it looks grate right? But let’s get going it going to get dark in a few hours. So we need to get you to the prince before dark.

the toad said as he slid down a stem of a mushroom then got on the ground and ran of to the defection of the kingdom.

so the start of this love battle how will the prince react to a human in his kingdom.

How...curious.

Rosalina had met Turtle-like creatures before, those that follow the orders of King Bowser, but this one was incredibly different. She hummed, merely staring, the two Luma's at her side discussing if they should help the stranger. Rosalina is quiet still, feeling no sense of danger about the poor lost Turtle. She goes against what her star children may believe, and carefully taps the end of her wand against the Terrapin's head,

"...Wake up," She speaks softly, calmly, "It's time to wake up..."

When they seem to come to, Rosalina stands fully, tall. There's a faint smile, warm, if not shy,

"It's alright...you're safe here..." She reassures, "My name is Rosalina. I watch over and protect the cosmos..." Rosalina introduces herself, "What may your name be...?"

Mikey heard the voice and felt something tap to his head, but he simply ignored it for the time being turning over like he always did when it was time to wake up for morning training. Slightly waving his arm to weakling swat away at whoever had wake up Mikey duty today. Though he should have noticed something was off right away from the voice. It was way to soft to be any of his brothers. Raph always pushed him out of bed. Sure Leo and Don could be a tad nicer when it came to their approaches. But the voice wasn't carrying that more serious tone Leo held and yeah it was soft but it didn't seemed annoyed like Don, but even they never spoke that nicely? Something ain't right.

"It's time to wake up..."

Mikey just groans a little but stirs and starts to let his eyes open, vision blurry and dust in his eyes as he finally start to move to sit up rubbing at them. "Alright alright im getting up"

Hand set to the ground as he started to push him self to sit up, slowly vision was clearing up as he started to let it adjust. Expecting brick walls, stacks of comic books and a green face brother. He needs a moment to simple stare and let his eyes blink a few time. Staring up at the source of the voice before more taken by surprise from the fact he was clearly not home than at her appearance at all. Despite the smile she was wear showing clearly no threat it did nothing to clam Mikey in the moment the pin finally drop. Hopping to his feet he started to snap his head around looking around at where he was.

"this ain't the lair!" As if that wasn't obvious enough. "Where am I!" He follows up with hands to his head as he seeing the floating star like creatures, slightly stepping away from them. "Okay okay uh think last thing I remember?" he tries to rack his mind over his memories from before waking up her. Slightly recalling he had been with his brothers some sort of mission maybe, then something hit his head he recalls Raph jerky remark about it when he complained. Both annoyed and grateful at once since it seemed to help to jog him memory a little bit here in the moment. "Wait! there was a flash!" he begins with starting to pace in circles, "and then I blew up and went to the light?" he shriked a moment at his phasing before looking back up at the tall blond and appernt floating women "I went towards the light.. an-and you look like an angel and float like one so." His face started to go pale at the thought. As he turned quickly to face her "Did I die!"

"It's alright...you're safe here..."

Mikey tries to relax hid short breath and at least nods his head to show he is listening. Okay so he isn't dead at least? Maybe he just got teleported? Now that he let his emotions settle down somewhat he looked around and took in the sight of open night sky pretty much everywhere? Was he just in space? Again? quirking his beak a bit at the thought. Well least he can handle that he figures. He's been to space more than once. So what about his brothers? Was it just Mikey here? Attention back to the women when she speaks up.

"My name is Rosalina. I watch over and protect the cosmos..."

"The cosmos? So I am in space after all? Great." He slightly clicks his tongue against his teeth at the confirmation.

"What may your name be...?"

"uh? yeah Michelangelo, but ya can just call me Mikey, all my friends do after all." Smiling brightly up at her now. "And seeing as were friends now." Not that anything truly established that it was more Mikey felt this women wasn't any sort of threat. Fingers tapping against each other "Maybe ya could help me out here?" he asks with his best nice face he can offer, which wasn't hard for him.

"You said you watch over the cosmos? so uh dose that mean you can maybe find out where my family is? they look like me well almost they aren't near as pretty eve less so my brother Raph." Mikey goes on to explain a bit moving to rub at his head as he tries to recall what happened.Unable to help make the joke he dose even if she might not understand that bit. It was more him needing to joke to make light of what was going on here. "or maybe tell me how I got here even?" It might be a lot to just ask as he was but well nah Mikey had a good feeling about her.

"Cause I for sure am not in Kansas anymore." Mikey went on to say.

However his mind was still trying to rack what happened, he didn't excalty like being left on his own when not having any of his brothers to relay on. More so in a new place he knew nothing about. So he was trying to emulate what they would do in the moment and well that helped somewhat. Just get some answers and figure it out from there right? Sounded simply enough soon just sighing as he idly plays with the tails of his mask now, "I just need to get back to my brothers Rosalina, so if you think you could help it be a lotta help....eh i'm not to good on my own with out them and i'm sure they are freaking out and worrying about me as is." Pains or not they were all pretty protective of him after all.

Regarding the 4 kings AU

so i wanted to bring this up abit, since there has been confusion over who the owner of the AU is me or @sweaterrat

I myself created the 4 kings AU , but originally they all were supposed to be King boos. but from what I can remember , we chatted about together to make the other brothers different super mario brother kings. i even gave her permission to design and draw King bowser raph and King bob-bomb mikey.

While i later drew a design for Prince leo, and thus the true 4 kings AU was born.

Then we ended up parting ways from eachother awhile after. And we haven’t spoken in months. And i wish Her A very happy and wonderful future, and for her to keep doing what she’s doing

Brah, my dude your radical. You've been sending in some pretty fire ideas for me to brainstorm~. Also I love LMK, it's one of my favorite shows a part of the Mokey King fandom. So fuck yeah if ya' wanna send in some LMK req/theories l would love to write/draw/theorize for that fandom! Actually I already have some sketches/doodles for Monkey King.

Though one of them got messed up recently because of my clumsy ass....

Anyways—

I'm always open for all sorts of requests! It just takes me a sec to get through them since I got daily obligations I must attend to. Also I just want to let you guys know I never delete any reqs that are in my inbox unless they're straight up rude or don't follow the Tumblr guidelines. I like to try my best to full fill all the asks that in my inbox despite how challenging I might find some commissions however I like to believe trying my hand at them helps me develop as a writer/artist.

Raph calling his darling by an endearing name? I got'cha~

Since in the TMNT universe in general there is already a canonical Mona Lisa chick(who I might add actually hooks up with Raph acouple times in a couple verses~😏). Sooooo- I don't know about Raphael tryin'na pickin' you up/or addressing you with that pet name.

Thooouuugh a couple weeks ago I finally had enough cash to go see the Super Mario movie and I could TOTALLY see 2k12 and Rise Raph being like Bowser in his approach to his love interest.

SPOILER ALERT PEOPLE!!!!! DO NOT GO ANY FURTHER UNLESS YOU WANT SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT!!!

Non-Yandere Route

In a normal situation this could be applied to 2k12 as well. While I wouldn't really call Rise Raph a Tsundere; 2k12 is most definitely a Tsundere.

Like Bowser 2k12 Raphael would be all imposing up front to all his comrades though when alone/or with Spike/or Chomp (Kamek in this scenario) is all love struck for Peaches(s/o). I could see Rise Raph doing this too except he probably gush about his crush on his s/o with Buddy.

In both situations like Bowser, both Raphael's would refer to you by a nickname. May you be allies or fighting as enemies Raph would be the only one to call you by the nickname he had given you(much to 2k12 Dr. Name-stein's(Mikey's) jargon).

Normal route wise? It would probably just play out as an average slow burn story. 2k12 Raph being a Tsundere who eventually has to confess due to circumstances(like one of his brothers "accidentally" outing him).

Meanwhile Rise Raph just tries to play it cool kinda like Bowser in the fluffy moments in the film when he was acting out scenarios. Except in Rise Raph's case this soft boi would definitely perform these acts of adoration for real-zeez. Flowers? Check. Flustered pick up lines? Check. Though the love song might be a stretch. Idk if either version of Raphael would go as far as writing a whole song for his crush.

Yandere Route

Yandere route wise both 2k12 and Rise Raph would react in a similar ways when denied/rejected by their s/o.

Bowser to me in the Super Mario movie is a literal yandere for Princess Peach. Dude destroyed a kingdom, took the whole Donkey Kong Army/any infidels captive, AND to top it off tried to sacrifice all his prisoners in Peaches honor for their wedding. Which by the way he cohersed out of the monarch by choking the fuck out of her companion while threatening to destroy her whole Kingdom. Only to be shocked when Peaches doesn't just give in and retaliates against their union. Which of course pisses off Bowser especially when he sees Mario and Peaches holding hands all close and such~ Anyways—

Both Rise and 2k12 Raphael would definitely fly into a rage like Bowser during the wedding scene after Peach froze him and reunited with Mario. Between 2k12 Raph with his hair wire triggered anger and Rise Raph's sensitivity this is not gonna end well. Maybe you're really a villain and reveal you were just playing with him for kicks/or ulterior motives. Perhaps you're an ally who's just not interested or has a crush on one of his brothers/or comrades. Either way he's losing his shit. Hopefully whatever is holding the mutant back restrains him long enough for either version of Raphael to calm down cause if the red color coded Hamato breaks free it is a matter of how fast his brothers and comrades can calm him down before the turtle does something extreme...

Btw here's some sketches I did for another request that I'm working on that @ladydoe8 had asked for. It's a writing req but I always find brain storming designs by drawing them makes it easier to describe them.

The one in the top right is from TigerFrog's fan made comic Mutant Ninja Turtle Gaiden (MNTG). I was re-reading it online since it's been a couple years when I came across this beauty. There were more but, this is my favorite line. I really recommend it! It's a fantastic comic, pretty dark, I love the plot! More people need to read it. I would love to write some scenarios/fics for it for you guys.

Donatello bro. Donatello. That dude in MNTG is— just— Brrrraaaaaaahhhh!!!!!! The same thing goes for the rest of the brothers. I just can't emphasize how much I recommend you guys to read this it's soooo good. I wish there was more fanart/works for this series!
