Lmao what’s the lore of csmp

me personally i think it would be based off canon botw events with slight changes here and there, and i kinda like the idea of them using something similar to the origins mod from the originsmp? that way it honors their original races in the game, e.g. revali's character would be avian or elytrian, daruk could be blazeborn or shulker maybe, etc

the CSMP server is created when the champions decide to collab after love or host and play minecraft together with the intention of surpassing the dsmp LMFAODKJFHD zelda starts the server and invites everyone and it takes daruk 30 minutes to figure out how to add the server ip to his game and log in LOL. at this time, revali and link are already bickering and have already killed each other twice without weapons and only their fists, urbosa is trying to mediate, mipha has wandered off collecting flowers, and zelda starts building a house that will eventually come to be known as "hyrule castle" >:]

after daruk is able to get in the game, they eventually all deviate from each other building their own houses in different parts of the map that they designate as their own lands, e.g. urbosa finds a desert terrain and calls it the "gerudo desert", mipha lives on the beach near a vast ocean in the "zora's domain", daruk finds a mountain with multiple lava pockets that he calls "mountain of death" because he fell into the lava pockets multiple times, and revali, being the overachiever he is, terraforms an entire lake and adds multiple rock spires because he thinks it looks sick and calls it "rito rock" at first. he eventually adds his own village and brings villagers to it and then it becomes "rito village". link makes a house but he rarely ever comes home because he's already underground finding stacks of diamonds or is in the nether raiding bastions lol

the ender dragon is regarded as the calamity ganon and by default the wither=dark beast ganon? HAHAHAHA and zelda actually is super into making lore for the server (because she plays DND i just know it in her nerdy little heart), and she keeps going on and on about how the ender dragon has plagued the "land of hyrule" for thousands and thousands of years and the descendents of the builders (her and link) are destined to defeat it, with the rest of the champions assisting in the battle. revali does not like this part of the lore because he wants to play a bigger part, but he doesn't wanna beef with zelda because she's a huge streamer so he fights with link instead. revali is constantly challenging link to 1v1s at his rock spire but always taunts him like You don't even have a base to call your own! link usually ignores him though LOL

i'm not completely sure how to integrate the divine beasts into the csmp lore, but (and this is gonna be hashtag cursed if you know what i'm talking about) in the dsmp they had an era called the "pet wars" where everyone was killing each other's pets in the server for whatever reason? i swear to god i wasn't that much of a dsmp watcher i only cared about like. two people's lore max. anyways. i think the champions would tame pets and name them after their respective divine beasts. revali gets a parrot that he names medoh, mipha finds an axolotl that she names ruta, urbosa gets a camel named naboris, and link helps daruk get a fucking strider from the nether to name rudania 😭 zelda gets an allay she names terrako and link gets a wolf he names twilight :] the pets would be called the "divine beasts" and they are cherished very deeply by each champion, and they often threaten to kidnap each other's pets when they're mad at each other especially revali and link. it gets to the point where link and revali end up hitting each other's pets, and to prevent warring, zelda finds some plugin or mod to disable pet deaths, or at least pet resurrection (idk if this exists. it should tho)

each champion's land grows to be larger, they have more villages/villagers (especially zelda like come on castle town!), and the server of hyrule starts to really fill in! link's first home eventually gets blown up by a creeper and he can't be bothered to rebuild it because he doesn't really care about having a base. revali starts bickering with him being like What if you die? Where are you going to respawn? Where will you keep your valuables? (link is the person with the least amount of deaths surprisingly and it's because he keeps all his shit with him and his spawnpoint is at world spawn lol) so link is just like Ok if you're so keen on me having a base, then how about you let me borrow yours? and revali is appalled at the suggestion and they argue a little more until revali eventually gives in and lets link stay at rito village under certain conditions. (all of this is being streamed btw, most of the time so people are absolutely getting converted to revalinkism watching this). link ends up being a great asset for rito village, because he protects the villagers and helps level them up because he trades with them all the time, and absolutely annihilates at pillager raids. he also. makes huge automated farms and storage systems for him and revali, and revali is... impressed. link didn't even ask if he wanted that, he just made it and automatically shared the resources between him and revali like . wow. revalink are gonna get married in minecraft you guys it's part of the lore

i can't think of anymore CSMP other champion shenanigans off of the top of my head rn bc im sleepy now LOL but like. besides revalink lore, i definitely want to see urbosa & daruk shenanigans, zelpha lore, daruk and mipha lore, urbosa and mipha lore, and just all the shenanigans between all of the champions. now imagine champion descendent shenanigans. oh god it would be so chaotic. imagine teba constantly experiencing revali and link bickering and flirting and bantering and just being like 😐🏳️‍🌈❌

if i think of more ideas, i'll post them! i'm just brainempty from work but this au seriously has so much potential i wanna write it now 😭

iwaizumi heard you chuckled, feeling the light vibration through his clothes. he felt you lean away and he let you. you pressed your forehead against his, caressing his warm red cheek. “you worked hard, hajime”

• may the gods help him. he was falling in love with you. and fast.

this was bad. really bad. but he can’t stop. not now. not now that he has experienced what it was like to be in your arms. to feel your lips against his.

Irt Vyn’s disaster driving, yeah you can get your driver’s license revoked. In the US it can happen if you get a certain number of traffic violations within a certain period of time. Also I did some research and (I mainly found stuff irt US licenses, but methinks it probably applies elsewhere) in order to drive legally in a foreign country you are usually required to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP), which you show with your driver’s license (in my reading the US is more lax on foreigners not having a permit). It’s only valid for like a year though. And you need a valid license to get one. Now I’m just imagining Vyn doing all of that awful paperwork for a permit that he can’t even use because of how awful his driving is lol

THE IDP IS VERY INTERESTING TO ME OMG. tho canon tells us that when vyn moved to stellis in 2028, he became a naturalized citizen eventually and thus he is no longer considered a foreigner of stellis by the law. so maybe his hell paperwork wont be on the IDP side but just on the naturalized citizen portion wHICH. IM NOW WONDERING IF STELLIS IS SUPER LAX ABOUT?

here in the ph (and also the US, which is where we probly adopted it from), you have to have lived here for at least 3 years before qualifying to apply for naturalized citizenship. but by 2030, vyn is already a legal citizen of stellis.

so theres three possibilities i can see explaining this

stellis is much more lax about the period of time one has had to live in the country to quality for naturalized citizenship. their time requirement is probably one year

vyn (or vyn's father tryna make the life of his son (who may or may not hate his guts) easier past the borders of svart) pulls some royal lineage strings to get the process done faster. could be either one of them cuz if vyn doing it, while vyn stays quite divorced from his past lineage, it has been shown in Lost Gold (he pulled SOME KINDA political manoeuvre related to svart to get the cruise ship past that inspection vessel that could not see the golden mask, or something like that, i have a blurry memory) that he'll use that connection still if the situation really needs it. if vyn's father does it i just think itd be an interesting story of "yes, i was a not great father, i'll try to make up for it in any way i can" and vyn being like "noted without thanks"

OR---and this is my favorite one because it can result in something very very funny---VYN IS LYING ABOUT ALREADY BEING A NATURALIZED CITIZEN

okay continuing on that last bullet point, do you guys know of the romantic comedy The Proposal (2009) starring Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock?

well, if u dont, the summary of the premise is that sandra bullock's character, somebody from canada who is residing in the US with a visa, is now facing deportation because her visa expired. shes in a high position at work and thus does not want to get kicked out of the US so, in a desperate bid to stay, she asks ryan reynolds' character to be fake engaged to her since a marriage would make her a citizen. and to make sure theyre not accused of fraud, they have to get married too (and just deal with the divorce later).

it's not a great movie imo kjbJBKJS but it does have a convoluted premise for fake dating. the expired visa made them fake date.

anyway i want that to happen to vyn HAHAHAHA

hes gotta get fake engaged to one of the nxx (mc would be the most popular choice but would he really rope her into kinda breaking the law, the institution that which she works for? same would go for artem. still could work tho!! i just like all nxx ships/interactions so everybody is a possibility i love so much) so that he can stay in stellis bc his visa expired one way or another.

and this could either go platonic found family where the whole thing just brings the team closer together and understanding vyn more irt to his past (which will inevitably get roped into this situation) and then cue the feels :').

or it could go the romance route like in the romcom itself and whoever he decides to fake propose to is somebody he truly falls in love with. in this route, itd be best if the one he fake proposes to is somebody he DOESNT LIKE ALL THAT MUCH cuz in the og movie, the characters did not like each other but then grew to love each other during the fake engagement period, as is expected in a romance movie. anyway, if we stick to that, his options would be marius or artem. i CANNOT figure out which of them is funnier and will be the most emotionally tender thing as the slowburn fic goes on.

i hate this i hate that ive thought about this now because i want it so bad but i KNOW that this premise in either iteration is gonna be like 50k words at LEAST cuz it's either a slowburn friendship journey or a slowburn enemies to lovers fake dating journey. IT WOULD BE SUCH A LONG FIC. BUT IF IT EXISTED I WOULD LOVE IT TO BITS.

Genshin Characters as the Major Arcana

Gentle Reminder: I just based this on a surface knowledge I have about the Arcana from my fave game Persona 3^^ As such, I paired the characters to the arcana with the help of my sis bcos there were some characters that I don’t know much about~ And again this is just fanart :))

That was long ksksks Imma add a commentary under if you feel like reading my thoughts hahaha

Soooooo

Fool: Obviously i was gonna pick the twins since they’re the main characters ksks but other than that- it has to be them because they’re special in a way like they can wield different elements. Zero is an empty number but with vast possibilities.

Magician: It was supposed to be Albedo at first- but persona says magician speaks about immaturity and power. And those two words just fit Klee so much in a good way!! Although-- Klee was supposed to be fortune too but i stuck with magician

Priestess: A woman of wisdom- Ganyu. that’s it haha I was supposed to add Ayaka too but she doesn’t have an official art yet :(

Empress: Lmao do i have to explain why i chose Jean and Ningguang

Emperor: No questions asked- Zhongli is an emperor bow. I didn’t have second thought choosing him lmao

Hierophant: So this one here symbolizes education, authority, and something about divinity and understanding the world. I chose Albedo because as an alchemist he took it upon himself to uncover the truth of the world~

Lovers: EHE no explanation needed~

Chariot: We’ve got victory, self-confidence and command!! I dont think i should explain this that much bcos Diluc is pretty straight forward haha My sister said I should Amber here too and I was about to but didn’t put her here Chariot also means war and Amber is not a war person for me

Justice: I chose xinqiu bcos of his display of justice in his story quest :))

Hermit: This means self-honesty and forging your own path- pretty fitting for Mona and Fischl right? As for Beidou, “why is a pirate a hermit?” Yeah that’s what i asked too when my sister said Beidou should be a Hermit. It makes sense tho- Beidou is a pirate and pirates stay on the sea and far from land and land is where civilization is

Fortune: Qiqi is basically the Preserves of Fortune ^^ As for Bennet, why is our unlucky boi in Fortune? Im soft for Bennet okay I just want to give him more luck and fortune on his way T-T Bennet was supposed to be hanged man but no- My sis said hanged man bcos everything Bennet does might result to more injury and eventually death. So--- NO

Strength: Pretty self-explanatory ^^

Hanged Man: Originally was supposed to be Hu Tao but again- no official art sigh So I chose Chongyun (was supposed to be fortune) This arcana means to take the time necessary for self-reflection and this fits our exorcist bcos he really reflected on how exterminate spirits without the use of his positivity- he wanted to stand by the traditional ways of an exorcist bcos ppl doubt his status as exorcist- yes, reflection for self-improvement

Death: Mr-Bane-of-all-Evil obviously (im so sorry xiao) (I was thinking adding qiqi but thats too cruel for my heart)

Temperance: Balance, synthesis, and harmony- all those for our best girl Sucrose

Devil: Childe- because he was mean in the golden house. Yes he seems to be a good guy but his eyes speak otherwise and i kudos mihoyo for that bcos when i was staring at his eyes in his official art- Dude those eye are empty- you cant read whats he thinking and it bring a sense of mistrust and malice in my way--- Even if I already did his story quest with Teucer that malice is still there for me Fun fact: Lumine was supposed to be the Devil bcos canon-villain but meh still a Fool for her

Tower: Pride and arrogance- a symbol for bad omens (im sorry kaeya) I dont know... something about Kaeya’s aura just tells me somthing bad will happen to him considering his origin- be it bcos of his pride or other things, Kaeya sends me red flags sometimes

Star: A hope in the dark. Barbara is self-explanatory and Diona is a personal experience ahaha- my first time fighting a ruin guard gone wrong and diona saved my ass ksks

Moon: Creativity, inspiration, dreams, and fantasy- all of these which Venti personifies as a bard and the Archon of Song

Sun: Xiangling and Amber brings joy to everyone and anyone, making them the sun

Judgment: I had difficulty picking for this arcana- but it all came down to Keqing. Keqing is a very serious person. She basically personifies logic and rationality- Whenever she declares that the time of the adepti are over- I know she speaks this without baseless judgment as she observes the progress of liyue and humanity in general

World: Dainsleif knows everything and anything and i was kinda spooked out by that in his story quest

AAAAAAAND THATS IT- this was one long post but hey i enjoyed this mini project of mine. I lost my sanity cleaning these cards and characters but thanks to my sugar high I managed hahahaha if you have some thoughts, feel free to share them and if you feel like you wanna speak about your perspective which conflicts mine- pls be gentle commenting ahahaha again this just fanart

SCREAMS I don’t know!!!! I’ve been thinking about this ask since getting it I have genuinely zero clue I love all arcs so much for so many different reasons!!!!! The first that comes to mind when I think about it is the workshop battle arc, because I love Viole with everything I have and the whole arc (plus the build up to it too!!) hurts in the most wonderful way, but then I keep thinking about it and I realize there’s so many character I live for that don’t appear in it - I love the floor of death arc SO MUCH cause for one, there’s nearly all my favorite characters in it, and also because it’s such a good, dynamic arc?? everything that happens is so much fun and interesting?? also Hockney is there, and Urek is there, and Garam is there, and the Hell Train gang is all there, so!! AH and the hell train as a whole is so damn good (the dallar show???? my whole soul rests in there, Khun’s trust in Bam!! the coin flip with rachel!! Bam’s whole everything!!!!!!!! GAH) but my fav part of it has to be the hidden floor?? because!!!!!! it’s perfect from start to end, everyone in it is wonderful, Bam’s growth in it!!! GODS! My favorite scene in the whole webtoon is in the hidden floor arc, it’s how much I love it - THEN THERE’S YAMA and the whole arc there is so so SO good too, and the latest arc!! how good is the latest arc!!!!!

so yeah I can’t pick - art wise I think it goes without saying that SIU’s art has only gotten better, so the closest to the newest update you go the more I like the art.... though, my favorite Bam is still the short haired one from the Hell Train arc haha

ok i got the aesvic out of my system now time to pick apart the letter n why i wont really be following aesops diary exactly here. literally no one asked but i wanted to get my thoughts down somewhere cos i have. a lot

just gonna put a quick rundown of aesops diary entry as a refresher (mostly for myself so i dont miss anything): he dreamt that he was helping jerry with what was probably a murder n was affirmed n he thinks its a sign congratulating him on carrying out his duty. over the years, he carries out his duties as an undertaker n comes to the manor looking for a “fresh start” aka what sounds like his first victim. according to aesop, said victim should be quiet, n potential victim number 1 is victor. something about badly needing him to become his “silent friend” n he mentions he’ll get to wick n the 2 other survivors in due time, but for now he’s very eager to start his “mission”.

im generally okay with the letter (i have seen so many fights over this aha) cos there is no surprise he wants to kill ppl (ppl who r fighting over this point. did u even read his deductions?? guy happily killed his mentor??). but i didnt quite like the fact that he still looks up to jerry (although. i guess thats valid i just. dont like it). i was also initially kind of confused about the real reason why he would want to kill ppl since as u progress through the letter it sounds less like he kills for duty (cos of the whole dream thing at the start) but more “because i want to :)”, which is an okayish edgy kinda take imo. like not that u cant characterize aesop as Kill Kill Murder Die, but i kinda find that. pretty boring in the long term.

im just gonna put what my original take on aesop was, like all of it. first off, he hates jerry. u cannot tell me a psychotic serial killer like that can raise a child without emotional trauma. like any child, this isnt even counting the extra damage done because hes autistic. (n i also hc that aesop has read his moms letter to him at some point, n he should have come to the conclusion that it was somewhat also jerrys fault, whether through logic or denial that his mom would want to leave him, so that just adds to it.) but as much as he hates him, his teachings are the only ones hes been exposed to, n its been so ingrained in him since young so even if he hates jerry he would still subscribe to whatever twisted ideology jerry was feeding him, which ill get to in a sec.

going through his accessories, he has that origami that he folds for each of his clients, n it shows that underneath it all, aesop is still kind. this isnt expected of him n its definitely not part of his job scope as an embalmer. he (still?) has the heart to wish the best for those that have departed n takes the time n effort to fold one for each n every client he sends off, which is probably a lot. so going off on that, my hc is that jerry, being the manipulative asshole that he is (who probably definitely manipulated his mom into indirect suicide) probably used his kindness against him to make him believe that by murdering ppl he is helping them, framing all of his serial kills as a sort of mercy kill (like his mom). so the thing that aesop takes away from all this is the very twisted logic that by killing ppl he is helping them, therefore being a good embalmer and a good person in general. n everyone wants to be a sort of good person, or at least for aesop that is part of his job description to be a good embalmer. n we all know aesop is very serious about his job.

i also hc that he has killed several ppl between killing jerry n coming to the manor, cos i follow the story that he took the invitation from that poor lady n thats how he ended up at the manor. surely the lady didnt come to him right after jerry died?? but anyway, the way i see it is that he thought he liked to kill. like he finally truly understood why jerry kills so much (which is interesting now that i think about it. guy really just went along with all those murders without truly believing huh), because it felt good to kill. at least thats what he thought, the revelation that killing felt good n is good, but i say its because he hated jerry, n offing someone u kinda hate should probably feel pretty gucci. n its also so much easier to pick clients off the streets than in the manor, so i would think that he has killed ppl like his mentor did, but each time he did the great feeling that came with ending ppls life just. wasnt as good as the first time round. it just became a sort of normal satisfaction of a successful embalming.

this can go two ways: 1. he keeps on killing to try to find that great feeling again, which is cool i guess (n probably what canon would want, except canon states that he hasnt killed since jerry), but id like to go with 2. he just stops because jerry isnt around to enforce it whenever he isnt feeling up to psychoing someone to their death (which is probably how jerry got his victims, n damn if that doesnt take a lot of mind games that i dont think aesop has the mental capacity for since half of it is fighting with his social anxiety n other issues. dealing with alive strangers?? no thanks?? i doubt he would have learnt properly how to lure in clients as efficiently as jerry because of this, mostly cos he was only needed for the murder afterparty aka embalming n funerals). n as much as he stays professional, there is no. professional way of gaslighting someone to their death.

(n also since ppl have pointed out that his twitter replies n other kinda informal stuff have shown that aesop does have reverent respect for life, which also adds to him not being so blindly bloodthirsty as implied in the letter. i dont really see the twitter replies as very canon, but it does make sense that he would come to revere life with his unique take and obsession over death, for one cannot exist without the other)

so this leads me to the motive that aesop brings to the manor, at least how i see it. he isnt exactly coming to the manor to kill per se (like from the very early story, he came to the manor to return the letter to a relative of the deceased lady, something about respecting her last wishes. something like that, its really been a while since i saw that exerpt), so like killing ppl isnt his main purpose of visit. its more of hes always on the lookout for weaker (or at least those that take less mind games to kill) people to mercy kill, n it just so happens that he knows the manor n his mentor almost died from there, so theres a pretty good chance he can find some ppl that fall into this category n so it just so happens that he also has a job to do there. its still counted as a Job for him since no ones gonna tell him that embalmers dont actually. murder.

so in my version, aesop only tries to sway ppl that he knows he can convince, n these ppl would typically be those very sickly ones like his mom (andrew im looking at u) or those with an actual death wish/ very weak will to live. but here aesop is choosing his “first victim”, and the criteria for that is... quiet? never mind “not evading him” and “not cranky” being on the list too, but that isnt quite what i was expecting from someone so dedicated to their duty of murder. sure he wants an easy first kill, but like. i dont think its consistent if his motive was really to continue jerrys bastard legacy. especially when the next paragraph is essentially him gushing over victor, that... sort of implies something else. or at least in the way i see it, since i believe that canon wants us to think that aesop just really loves to kill.

aesop likes victor. very much so. so much till he wants to kill him. which i guess makes sense cos he likes death, n now he likes victor. so he just. puts the two things he likes together. whats better than victor? dead victor. anyway the rest of the letter is more like “whatever, i technically should kill the others too but my priority is victor” so like. he confuses his (dare i say) yandere tendencies with his duty since the end goal for both is a body in a coffin.

having said that. i know i have aesvic brainrot but i also know this is one sided as hell (at least from the letter alone, not counting the letter shaped cookies in his birthday art that apparently belonged to victors birthday cake aha) n lowkey alarming since. the goal is to kill victor. i kinda want to interpret it as him genuinely wanting to be friends with victor (really wanting him to be a “silent friend”, maybe cos he doesnt actually know how to be friends with living ppl n is better with dead ones? therefore victor should be dead to be friends?) but not knowing how to n throwing in his obsession with death ends up with. this minor disaster waiting to happen. but i uh. dont know if this is valid. its valid to me at least, with my original interpretation of aesop. n again cos of his ingrained professionalism, he also kinda sees this as part of his job to send ppl off, so its another plus. not for victor, tho.

idk if ill add this yandere side in my aesop. i mean my boi has technically tried to kill victor multiple times in the past HAHAHAHA. maybe like sometimes he can be a bit obsessive. as a treat. but generally nah cos thats definitely gonna end up in a murder somewhere somehow n i cant. just kill victors here on the ask blog scene lashjflkjhdlfkjhas

so yeah that kinda takes care of the last part of the letter, as for the first part. as much as aesop hates jerry, i would also think hes pretty starved for affirmation (like i said jerry isnt going to be a good parent figure ever) n i guess it makes sense if the only times jerry has ever complimented him was aiding him in his kills n hiding the evidence, which might (?) add to his desire to kill (but that probably dies with jerry aha). so the way i see it as aesop is getting affirmation n takes it as a good sign instead of. remotely liking jerry. idk if im stretching it a little but i really dont like the take where hes okay with jerry. anyway we are ignoring that he hasnt killed before entering the manor cos that doesnt quite make sense to me (i wasnt dreaming about the letter from a lady stabbed in the face 36 times or so right???? right???????)

im also not like. trying to defend him, im just trying to make sense of his diary. boi has issues n is a little too far gone (not as far as canon tho), in my take very deluded in his way of showing kindness. literally cool motive still murder (or in canon, just murder?), please get therapy. but i just dont really like the direction that the letter was originally trying to imply, with him really just hell bent on murder without like. a clear motive (at least to me it isnt very clear since the last part really doesnt sound consistent with his supposed intentions). i mean i love being edgy with aesop every now n then but i dont think it would make for meaningful characterizations in the long run so. ill still be sticking with my original take on aesop with maybe a bit of yandere for victor cos thats always fun

Why don't you ship it?

Ooooh this might come as a shock but to be honest the reasons I dont ship it are pretty simple:

I havent overthought it enough (Shocking, right? hahahaha)

UBW (both the vn and the anime) blew me away in terms of Shirou’s character so any other ship that wasn’t Shirou/Rin was completely blown out of the water.

I haven’t played Fate/ Extra, mostly cause I didn’t have the console cause yknow...money.

What would have made you like it?

You know, now that I’m thinking about it, (and rewatching UBW for the nth time) I wonder how I missed it completely. I honestly dismissed the ship cause I thought Lancer was being a bro and shipping Shirou/Rin as well hahahaha. Im pretty sure I know exactly when people started shipping them tho. “Silly girl”

I’m not sure what went on in Fate/Extra but maybe if I played it I’d have more reason to ship it, considering Lancer seems to have wanted Rin as a Master

Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?

I feel like if Rin really did get to summon Lancer, they’d a have a pretty damn good Master Servant relationship. Less snarky than her relationship with Archer, and definitely the kind of relationship that would fully realize her tsundere goodness. He’s such a tease, after all.

There’s a lot of potential for fanfiction writers

Like Rin summoning him when she really is older

Somehow killing Kirei off to acquire him as a Servant when she loses Archer

Overall, still a good ship. If i overthink it enough, I might actually convert. Who knows? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

HOW THE TWO OF YOU MET

it’s canon that remus has a thing for interesting people. of course, everyone loves people who are cool and have something to show, that’s a given. but when remus is fascinated by something, oh my god.

the first time he saw you was when you passed by his train compartment, carrying all your luggage in one hand and an open sketchbook in the other. from there he could see one of your drawings but not enough. when it was your turn to be sorted to your house, (and although he hated to admit this) he listened closely and crossed his fingers that you’d be sorted to gryffindor but sadly, you weren’t — you were sorted to ravenclaw!

so now whenever someone mentioned ravenclaw, he thought of you. it was kind of like a happy crush at first. by fifth year, remus became a prefect and you were carrying around muggle toys that were distracting the other students (remus was hella interested) so a teacher told him to confiscate your stuff.

he was nervous because ofc he didn’t want to ruin his chances with you but that went out of the window as soon as he began tucking all your stuff away in his own bag and you had already begun ignoring him and whatnot.

THAT was your first interaction with each other, much to his dismay. once he was back to his room, he hesitantly checked out your trinkets and was even more impressed like these toys???? BRO. yep mans was in love

HEADCANONS ABOUT YOUR RELATIONSHIP

— i like to think you two were really good friends first after he flew to beside the ravenclaw tower in james’s broom (they were so supportive omg) with great struggle and knocked on your mist-stained window. you were a bit scared but stood up to look for the source of the sound, jumping at the sight of remus lupin by your window, struggling to keep hold of it. that’s when you two finally became friends ;))

— afaik remus is also an INFJ and i know for a fact that INFJ-INFJ relationships work and so do ENFJ-INFJ ones! i think you two would be the pair who always say “oh i love to be challenged” but only end up always agreeing with each other

— you suck at getting the hint so when sirius advised remus to pose like a greek god whenever you’re holding your sketchbook and you don’t draw him he’s like “oh that’s ok haha” *internally dying* i mean not that i’m expecting but…🥲

— it was when you started dating him in 7th year that you showed him the drawings of him you’ve done over the years. HE COULDN’T BE MORE IN LOVE AT THIS POINT IANDHRIW and he’d just be all “merlin, i’m so lucky.” and you, the weirdo that you are, would pull out a gift and tell him, “i thought you’d say that.”

— you taking the marauders to the arcade or playing those mid-70s arcade games is one of the biggest highlights of both of your lives. while you left the other three to play with those racing ones, you’d take remus to these ones

— and i think you two would have the “i’ll make you less scared of the moon. no, in fact, i’ll make you think of me when you see it!” ok wait i think i wanna write this HAHAHAHA

— anyway yea. him just watching you with heart eyes while chilling in your room as you tune your guitar. sometimes, he’d even offer to plug the amplifier himself just because he wants to hear you play :))
