Relationship between Rudiger and Judith reminds me so much about the relationship between Alhaitham and Kaveh (minus all the lowkey philosophical disagreements). Rudiger is obviously different from Alhaitham as he is himbo clueless while Alhaitham is "I don't care" clueless when it comes to social cues and they both show their care differently (Rudiger is a gentleman). But in both cases they are very selective about people they care about which virtually makes Judith Rudiger's Kaveh. He cares about Judith so much that when people bathmouth her it bothers HIM more than it bothers her. Idiot in love.

BTW it's hilarious when his autistic ass misses all the points. Judith thinks he doesn't understand and I guess she is right, for him most of the stuff she talks about is so bizarre and the comedy of it all is gold.

The first one I’ve read where the novel being isekai-ed into actually wasn’t a romance. Wow. Amazing.

Summary It’s the isekai-ed into a novel as the ~evil stepmother aunt~ in the main character’s backstory. So of course, gotta avoid the death flag by being nice to the preshus child. Except she literally has less than a month before the main plot starts. Lol Also, instead of being a shy sunshine child, the main character is actually stubborn and clingy. So instead of being the loving aunt side character, she’s now the *fake mum* ~falling in love with the aloof duke~ female lead.

Tropes - isekai-ed as the villainess - past life explained in one chapter - what do you mean I’ve drastically changed the plot my precious boy will definitely stick to his uncle the most - how DARE you fall in love with MY AUNT

NXX as otome isekai male leads

It's been a while since I read OIs, so please feel free to correct any inaccuracies to the plot. This is just for fun and has been stewing in my silly little brain for a while so please do send me asks/replies if you want to add on! (and do note: it's definitely incomplete :')) more in the last few dot points)

Spoilers ahead!

Luke as Joseph (I Am the Real One)

A knight who's known the Keira (the FL) for a long time (need I say more?)

Has a friendly rivalry with her as the vice-captain of the knights (lukerosa totally went head-to-head against each other in every exam as the top students in their grade)

One of the only people who stood by Keira even as she was executed for treason. He believed in her in every timeline, even after everyone else turned against her

Bonus: had to go shopping for fancy clothes because he only ever wore his knight uniform (i'm looking at you and your questionable wardrobe there, luke pearce)

Artem as Ruediger Winterwald (The Villainess Flips the Script)

(full disclosure, i have not caught up with this one for a while..!)

A stone-cold appearance with a heart of gold

Emotionally repressed because his childhood, and is bound to family duty (oh i want both him and artem to live for themselves a little more!!)

Bought a bunch of jewelry for Judith (the FL) but she just dismissed it as him being nice (early artemrosa much... oh hang in there pre-relationship artem, you'll get there one day)

Now the biggest difference between Artem and Ruediger is that Ruediger will bulldoze his way through any issues he encounters because he's a Winterwald. He's just being blunt. Artem, on the other hand, will overthink everything -- he's not the type to speak his feelings so directly.

The truth is, I think Artem is the ML that i would say has the most similarities to a lot of OI MLs, but off the top of my head, I really can't pinpoint one that's exactly like him.

Marius as Heinrey (The Remarried Empress)

(Starts off as) the second prince of a neighbouring kingdom

Pretends to be a womaniser and purposefully destroys his reputation but he's actually a schemer and also did it to make his older brother look better (this is precisely why i didn't put any other playful prince-type ml here for marius. it's HIM. it's both of them!!)

It's the younger ML thing I swear, but he's calculative, but also so innocent. Look at his pleading eyes!

Bonus: has purple eyes (yes that counts. just look at how they're shaped!! their eyes look similar i SWEAR)

Vyn as... ???

I WILL EDIT this as soon as I find one but oh my god I've scoured the depths of my OI library and I CANNOT for the life of me find one with an ML who's similar to Vyn.

They are either (1) too obsessive or (2) too playful WHERE IS THE BALANCE

Talvez o maior problema dentro de si era que Ruediger não notava a própria linha que ele traçou e que ela própria havia imposto para si própria, a parte mais triste daquela conversa era saber que no final aquilo era um mal entendido de parte dela e aquelas palavras não significavam nada além do que estava apresentando. Encontro - Senhor Ruediger, tem algum motivo para sairmos juntos? Se precisa de ajuda para compras creio que não sou a melhor pessoa para ajudar... - Deveria sentir raiva? Ansiosa? Felicidade? Era estranho quando Judith colocava para si aquela situação, ela apenas sentia um vazio e os olhos vagos apenas encaravam o tecido molhado que tentava limpar inutilmente com o guardanapo. - Qualquer que seja o motivo, não me importo de acompanhar para lhe ajudar, mas isso não é um encontro. Eu tenho que dar um jeito no vestido e me trocar, combinamos sobre isso mais tarde. Tudo bem para você Senhor Ruediger? - Finalmente aquela conversa havia acabado, não queria lidar mais com aquele tipo de situação, muito menos com outro rumor estranho sendo mal interpretado. Ao olhar para o reflexo sobre o espelho aquela noite agradecia mentalmente por aguentar tanto dentro de si, não era a opção de estar sendo rejeitada que doía aquele momento, mas que aquelas palavras não tinham um real peso que deseja que tivessem - ela não era especial, aqueles eram apenas costumes de nobres não tinha um real significado além de formalidade de títulos. - Ahh...Eu deveria ter rejeitado o pedido apropriadamente, mas recusar seria mais cansativo. -

Um novo dia estava tudo bem, ou pelo menos havia blindado o coração para que tivesse tudo bem, Judith havia passado várias vezes reafirmando na cabeça aquele aquilo não era nada demais, é novamente a presença do homem novamente no seus aposentos fazia ela se sentir mentalmente cansada sabendo o que estava por vir. - Senhor Ruediger, pule a parte do encontro é só fale no que eu posso ajudar, eu não quero criar mais comoção que ontem. -
