Okay I usually hate RWBY stuff but…

They just had to go and give me a fucking crossover with the Justice League.

Then I watched it.

All of the characters are so cute/cool wtf?!?! And the gave Batman bat wings!!

I repeat: they gave Bruce Wayne, fucking bat wings!

I love his reaction to them too!

Look at him!! He's flying and what does he say?

"How does Clark do this??"

Asfhfsthdzrgbv. Bats, buddy, I think you should be more concerned about the fucking wings you randomly grew.

The others' reaction to them are amazing too, I need more fanfics of this movie I swear-!

I think it’s really funny that the epilogue got delayed, cause that means they will have at least one scene of them wearing the atlas arc outfits. So if they maintain this yangs new muscles from the JL movie in her Vacuo arc outfit, we get see yang suddenly become super buff between episodes like she’s Bane or something

It took some reloading due to internet issues for me to catch it, but the Grimm are, glitching? Yang’s comment about breathing lazers must mean that it’s a ‘worlds crossing’ issue.

why are they emphasizing yang’s breast so much

I picked up on Superman’s semblance limitation right away, and it’s the same limitation he had in the comic

Her little pose saying “Don’t worry, I got you!” (which i might have missed by one frame)

Does the Youtube version have weird volume issues? Is that a production thing or a distribution thing?

“when things get weird, you can bet there’s one person who knows what’s going on (camera pan to Beacon), Ozpin” what did you break this time old man XD

“B: What are they[Atlas] doing, having a party?” “W: I can’t believe you’re having a party.” That transition made me wheeze

I do like seeing the Schnee manor again, filled with returning v7 faces. It does feel like a party.

I do like Bruce and Weiss’s dynamic already

Turns out Ozpin didn’t break anything, if anything he’s just an NPC in this weird mix up

Nice of the movie to sprinkle in RWBY-universe world building for the DC fans

Cyborg saying “What, you haven’t learned how to adapt thanks to childhood trauma?” to Ren and Nora of all people is a pointed choice and I’m here for it XD

Bonus points for Ren and Nora immediately demonstrating they ways they react to it too, Nora with humor and Ren with bitter silence.

Flash is being a snarky lil’ shit to constrast more strongly with Jaune is great

I know it’s just a training montage but cmon - Nora’s hit should have had more of an impact on Barry than *squeaky toy noise* after all that build up

“He’s fine.” “He’s in pain!” *eye roll* I missed sassy Ren so much

There was a rumor a show was supposed to happen on HBO Max. But after the news a week or 2 ago. I don't know if that'll happen. Although we did see Three Legionnaires Appear on Young Justice. The logo has Superman's signature “S” emblem. So likely center on Superman.

Batman: The Doom that Came to Gotham

The Doom that Came to Gotham was a three-part miniseries from DC Comics published in 2000. It's an Elseworlds story... But from what I remember Its story about Bruce's parents are killed & he leaves Gotham & 20 years later he returns & the city is run down.

Justice League x RWBY: Superheroes and Huntsmen Part One

DC is no stranger to creative team-ups and crossovers. I've only seen clips of RWBY & reactions on YouTube. But from what I've seen its really cool. I know they've teamed up with the League before in the comics.

Justice League: Warworld

What I do know about this movie, it's bringing all the Superheroes we've already met in the new DC animated movie universe or what it's being called as Tomorrowverse. So, we'll see Superman, Martian Manhunter & the Flash from Superman: Man of Tomorrow. Wonder Woman from Justice Society: World War II. Batman from Batman: The Long Halloween. Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Adam Strange (Maybe) & Hawkgirl from Green Lantern: Beware My Power. This movie will most likely center around Mongul the ruler of Warworld.

this scene with yang and ruby is so important. not just because of the development it gives the girls’s relationship, but because it also shows us yang’s own personal growth and acknowledgement of an issue she’s had for a long time.

“this… thing you’ve been doing isn’t confidence. it’s a death wish.” said while yang is holding onto her prosthetic arm, with blake behind her as a comforting presence.

yang knows better than anyone what it’s like to throw yourself into danger with no regard for your own well-being. hell, in remnant she practically invented the concept of being self-sacrificial. she knows exactly how ruby feels, and now, she’s on the other end of it.

yang lost her arm in the first place by jumping into a dangerous situation, not caring about her own safety if it meant protecting blake. a similar thing happened at the end of volume 8, when yang jumped in to take a hit meant for ruby and, well… we all know how that turned out.

blake is there as a comforting presence because she used to be in yang’s position, watching her throw herself into danger with no care about whether she gets hurt or not. blake knows exactly what yang is trying to say.

not only is this yang being vulnerable and asking her sister to stay, but it’s yang acknowledging her own issues with the very same thing. it’s her acknowledging that she used to do the exact same thing and that, now, she knows it’s not the right thing to do. she knows how it feels to actually watch someone else do the sacrificing, and how painful it must’ve been for the others to see her doing the same thing.

it’s a beautiful scene that gives some nuance to ruby and yang’s complex dynamic, but it also tells us how much yang has grown as a character beyond her most fatal flaw. it’s really one of my favorite scenes from the movie.

One of the things that the RWBY x Justice League comic has with the Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsmen, Part One film, is that they have featured Bruce and Weiss as friends and allies. One of the comic covers is even of them standing back to back, along with the film's poster placing the two close to one another.

That's why quite a few people are already considering on the idea of shipping them. I already have two possible titles in minds, but don't know which one to use? Should it be BruWeiss or White Bat?

I would have posted this earlier in the week but didn't get a chance but this we we had some purely DC pick-ups. We picked up the second part of the Justice League/RWBY crossover Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes and Huntsmen Part Two and of course Blue Beetle which I'll finally get to see! we wanted to see it when it was playing but couldn't go see it at the end of August when it opened so I thought it would be running through September and when we had a chance to go see it around the first of September it was no longer playing so here it had like a 2 week theatrical run which was kinda surprising and kinda sucked so we ended up waiting until it was released on disk and we'll finally get a chance to watch it now.
