ohohoHOHO you’ve opened a (distortion) door that should’ve been kept locked:
- he’s chronically ill, and refuses to use any helping hand like a walking cane on days where his joints physically refuse to work because “i can’t let my coworkers lose respect for me”
- respect has always been a big thing for him because his grandmother was extremely old school when raising him and she drilled respecting everyone into his head while growing up (not to mention the only adults he saw were her friends who were also elderly so he was always described as “such a proper young boy”)
- HORRIBLE at handling his alcohol. he refused every post-work drinking invite tim would try to drag him to
- he does the mom thing when someone tries to show him something on their phone. he puts on his glasses and squints and leans back and he’s just so confused
- wore glasses s1-s3, and after the coma he just stopped needing them
- despite his attempts to be respected, tim has a blackboard in the break room that’s labeled “cat jon” and a list of everything they’ve seen jon do that resembles a cat. stretched like a cat. jumped like a cat in shock when tim laughs loud. constantly grumpy (like a cat). post-s4 he straight up just lives in the archives and sleeps there, tim walks in on him curled up on himself, asleep. like a cat. and lets just say there was a new bullet point on the list that afternoon.
- he hates halloween. even pre-institute he just found it so stupid and he hates getting ugly kids knocking on his door. in fact he just hates all holidays. he’s a grinch. georgie used to make him go to all these uni parties because if not she knew he would lock himself in his room forever.
- he wants to be organized. key word: wants. he cannot for the life of him keep his stuff organized. it’s a mess but he knows where everything is, ya know? problem: copious amounts of stress can mess up memory. throughout the story he just. forgets. where everything is.
- post s4 he has to actively remind himself to blink
- horrible sneezing habits. he sneezes like a father, and the first time he sneezed in the archives martin was walking past him with tea and flinched so hard he spilt it all over himself (jon used that to further his point of martins incompetence)
- he can cook. if forced to. or in dire situations. his oven has been untouched since his rented his apartment with the sole exception of boiling water for tea (he got a kettle a week later cause he couldn’t be arsed.)

-as much as Barou thinks we're stupid, we're his friends (and I'm pretty much his sister) so he suggests we should do something nice like going to a sushi restaurant together. All of us agree because food + quality time is the best combination ever
-Barou thinks we're going to behave like normal people in the restaurant. BUT JOKES ON HIM WE DON'T
-when Tsuyosa starts eating his sushi, Shidou would say something like "not the only raw thing that'll be in his mouth tonight" and Tsuyosa gets EXTREMELY flustered while the rest of us breaks out in laughter. Well, except for Barou because he already regrets all of this
-Claire, when you start eating, Karasu would say something similar as Shidou but in a more joking way (we all know Shidou is 99% serious about stuff like this)
-honestly I'd sit on Zantetsu's lap the entire time. HE'S MY PLATONIC BOYFRIEND THAT SEAT BELONGS TO ME
-Karasu would probably feed you sometimes ngl
-all of us would try to convince Barou to pay for all of us, but because that would be super expensive Zantetsu, Karasu and Barou end up splitting the bill. Tsuyosa and Shidou throw in some coins they find in their pockets
-we'd make super stupid jokes the entire time while Barou keeps telling us to behave in a way a mother tells their crazy children to act normal
-but no, we won't
-after a bit, we get Barou to join in on the jokes
-Shidou would order some desert like mochis but not eat them by himself, instead, he just feeds them to Tsuyosa
-Zantetsu and Karasu made a bet on who can eat the most maki in 3 minutes. Karasu wins because Zantetsu started chocking and I had to save him from suffocating
-you and I would complain about out stomachs hurting at the end of it and Barou would be like "that's what you get for eating so much" then we start quoting the Torschützenkönig line (we do not accept criticism from Barou and our only way of responding is to quote that)

-he has the most horrendous sneeze in like,, season 1. you can hear it through the entire archive. in s3 he tuned it down a bit and learned how to sneeze quietly but in s5 he was right back at it
-he enjoys debate and gets into arguments for fun, but the other people (obviously) never understand its fun for him and get angry
-he absolutely despises super markets
-he hates those little costumes you put on cats for halloween. he thinks theyre disrespectful to the cat because cats are just ‘So distinguished, Georgie youre humiliating him’
-mostly sustains himself off snack foods even though he can cook
-hes very cluttered and overuses the phrase “theres a method to my madness”. in his defense, there IS a method to his madness.

Llego una nueva profesora de música que, le pidio unirse a la banda, ella se nego, aunque estuvo en el coro de su antigua iglesia local, luego de su primera comunión, no volvio ni a pisar una iglesia ni a tocar su flauta en seis años
Sin embargo como fue muy amable con ella y paro los que se reian de ella en el recreo , le dio mucha confianza, por eso no se sintio mal cuando el le pidio su número de telefono, mientras llegaban en su camioneta a su casa
