luca marinelli character FIGHT submissions open now!!
submit your favourites for an entirely hypothetical cage match tournament. you can submit who you think will win, or just your favourite (even if you think they're getting eliminated immediately). form will stay open for roughly a week or until i have a good number of submissions, whichever comes first. interpret the conditions of the fight however you choose and have fun with it
rules for submission:
the following characters will be automatically entered (by me), though feel free to still submit relevant information for them (i'll use the data for the bracket): gabriele (waves 2012), milton (una questione privata), diabolik (diabolik) and nicky (the old guard)
for reasons that will be revealed later, primo nizzuto will NOT be included in the bracket (initially), but i WILL still take submissions for him. however consider also submitting other characters in addition (the more obscure the better. the point of submissions is to avoid me keeping it biased to only the movies/show i have seen, and also because it's funny)
characters that are portrayals of real people (fabrizio de andre, mussolini) will also not be included. we're keeping this fictional thank you
this is specified in the form but if you're okay for me to quote your responses for the "relevant information" sections in the post, please say this in your response! otherwise i'll paraphrase without specifics or not quote you at all (e.g. if you mention a relevant thing the character does in canon i might include it in the poll post but i won't use what you said. this is all for fun. in the same vein everything will be anonymous unless you want it to be, in which case add your url to your response and i'll tag you when it comes up!)

#ignore#clownery ahead#i may be fucked. this concert and this whole trip has like solidified my feelings for my best friend.#like before they were like there and i knew and it was def growing bc of living together and stuff#but i was getting on top of it and being careful and smart about it. ive done it before and everything#but man this whole thing. the way we've interacted#its a level of comfortability we havent really done before.#idfk why maybe bc of like natural progression of friendship idk#i wrapped my arm around her shoulder more today than i probably have in my whole life#we were so touchy at the concert bc yknow we're having fun dancing and singing and stuff. sitting close to each other#but the way my insides go crazy at every touch. whether its her touching my arm with the back of her hand to get my attention and resting#it there for a moment. or the hug we had after the concert that was so fucking strong bc we were both emotional.#i go wild inside im like a fool. all butterflies and warmth and that shit#thats not good to feel about my best friend and roommate 😐 and i know and i gotta work on it and find some solution.#but bro if we keep being this touchy. like if this is just how our friendship is now.#it will be the best and worst thing to happen. because it feels amazing but it will never progress further and god do i want it to#and i gotta stop being jealous abt every dumb guy. its bc of insecurity and i know it. i instantly compare myself in the most painful way#every time she talks abt her crush it hurts so much and i gotta stop myself from thinking those thoughts or lamenting that she will never#talk that way about me or feel that way about me#fuck this is gonna be a rough one#but i am still choosing to not let that tarnish the amazing time i had seeing taylor swift. she was the first artist i ever wanted to see#in concert bc she was like the first artist i ever became a fan of as a lil 6 year old#and i finally got to see her and it was incredible and i wish it had never ended#(and it wouldnt have been as amazing as it was if she hadnt come with me)

So despite being told that I need several weeks notice to dependably get time off work, my dad didn't loop me into the conversation about when the canoe trip would happen, so I only got confirmation Yesterday that it's happening this Saturday, & I have a shift this Saturday that for several reasons I wont be able to find someone to cover
& so I'm gonna have to miss the canoe trip (again). Trying to not be angry, but I very definitely am unhappy.
#speculation nation#i could have done more to participate in the conversation. i knew it was a thing being talked about & i couldve asked up about it#but idk i figured id be told when an official time was decided and it never happened so i Kinda assumed the plans had fallen through#but no. they're gonna happen. just not without me :)#trying to not be a little shit about it but my dad messaged me this morning saying the canoe trip is happening on Saturday#despite the fact that my sister messaged me last night & i told her i wouldnt be able to go#so im Guessing she already told him. but he still messaged me like my answer might have changed overnight???#'sorry for the late notice but we're planning the trip for saturday'#& i answered essentially 'yea [sister] told me about that. i have a shift that day i cant get covered so im gonna have to miss this year'#the (again) implied. since the same damn thing happened last year.#DESPITE HIM BEING TOLD that if he wants me to join in for Family Events i have to know when they happen several weeks before!!!#Week Of plans will Rarely work. and so to no surprise i have a 6.5 hr closing shift on Saturday#with no one realistically able to cover it (since one supervisor is already on break and the other 2 are already scheduled for that day)#ultimately maybe it's not the worst bc a canoe trip would tire me the Fuck out#but i kinda really wanted to go canoeing thru turkey run... ive only been canoeing Once. years ago. and it's Fun...#and god knows i need more time out of my stupid life of boxes. my occasional trips out to the river i live by only Barely keeping my sanity#so like. whatever. i'll deal. but i am Definitely not happy about it lol.

a girl's night out was exactly what you needed (or at least that's what lily thought). so she planned a gorgeous dinner at a fancy restaurant on the rooftop of a huge building and invited kika, heidi and carmen. laughter filled most part of the night (except when your ex was brought up), the bartender kept bringing new cocktails to the table and you swore you hadn't felt this happy in a while.
earlier heidi had figured out you were staying at the same hotel as her (and daniel), so she offered you to join them on their way back as he would be picking her up.
daniel couldn't stop joking about how drunk the both of you were. he adored you, you were always kind and caring, and he always loved your friendship with heidi. so when he realized that you didn't know that lando and you would be staying at the same hotel he decided to keep his mouth shut, knowing it would ruin the night for you.
at the hotel, you hugged your friends as you wished them good night, since they were staying in a different part. you took the elevator and waited until it reached your floor. your heart felt so full because you'd just spent such a wonderful night. but when door's opened and you saw the face of the man you once loved you couldn't stop yourself from saying out loud:

Summary: draco and reader broke up because of stupid reasons, but they'll have to marry and this is about resolving your relationship

We remember that you've mentioned about the malfoy boy several times, draco malfoy. And it seems like you two are perfect.
From what your brother have said to us a few weeks ago, we found out that you had an eye on malfoy, and malfoy might be interested in you too.
We thought it'll be great, so, we arranged some stuff with lucius and narcissa malfoy, and, they've got letters from draco, some is about you.
And we arranged some stuff, and thought it'll be best if you two will marry after finishing Hogwarts. We thought that, we'd wait until you actually had some one that you were interested in to, then arrange somethings.
We know this isn't the most thrilling choice, or maybe it is, we just want the best for our Pureblood family. We didn't know when to tell you, but Draco knew about this a week ago, and we thought he'd tell you but he didn't, so we told you our self.
Well, we'll be ending this letter here, but, have a great day, y/n, we miss you

You dropped the letter. Marriage? After finishing Hogwarts? Were you gonna go crazy like bellatrix did?
Sure, if they told you that a week ago you'd be happy. The only person who knew you had a messy breakup with draco was theo, and blaise.
Theo have never shaded someone this much before. And, to see him having fun after breaking your heart was painful for you.
You climbed up to your bed, thinking about the good times you had with draco since the start of Hogwarts. The 'oh this is just a small crush' turned into 'oh, I fell for him'. Even with the quite questionable things draco has done, he was a sweetheart. You remembered everything vividly.
"Love? You okay? " Draco said. You weren't okay. "Draco, ginny is gone" You cried. Remembering the first year girl that you grew quite close too. "Ginny? Weasley? " Draco said, he sounded like he wad annoying. "As much as you hate her family, you'd feel sad if someone is gone, right? Wouldn't you be sad if i was gone? " You wiped your tears.
"Oh doll,'sorry that Ive said that, and, of course I'd be said if you were gone, I'd be a mess" Draco said.
You wished you hated Ginny, and for good reasons. If that hadn't happen you wouldn't grow feelings. If only you two stayed friends you'd be fine.
"What the fuck Draco! " You screamed. "What? Is it my fault that you probably just 'love me' because I'm a Pureblood? Oh please" Draco mocked. The tears came out of your eyes so easily. "I love you, draco, why'd you say that?" You looked down.
"Cause.. You know what never mind that, just, it's over alright, we're over. Go" Draco took your hands, but you threw it away. "You think I'd marry someone just because of their blood status. But no, I'd never do that" You walked out of his room.
"I'd never do that, he says" You scoff on your bed, sobbing. "I hate you" You curled up, hugging your pillow.
Someone opened the door and gasped. "Y/n are you okay? " Daphne said. "I'm not well, not really" You said. "Oh gosh, should I get Draco? " She said. Which, hit the spot. "Is Theo there? " You asked. "There? Where? ", " Common room"."yes, he is in the common room " Daphne gave a weak smile. "Thanks, Daphne, uhm, Im going to talk to him" You gave a smile.
"Theo" You walked down the stairs. To see the Slytherin boys circle. And that sadly includes both Draco, and Theo.
"Lo- y/n, you alright? " Draco said. But you didn't answer. "Can I talk to you for a second, Theo? " You gave a weak smile to the rest of the boys, but not even looking at Draco. "Sure" Theo walked away, well still in the common room, no one was really there, just some first year.
You immediately cried again. "Y/n". "Did you know? " You said. "What? " Theodore said. "Father and mother made me marry him! Some arrangement shit! " You cried, hugging him. "Him? Draco? " Theo guessed, and you nodded.
"I need to be tough, but I can't." You cried. "You don't need to be tough, y/n, you just need to be here, alright? We're gonna solve everything, alright, I'll tell mom something but, go to sleep, okay, I promise you'll feel better.
"Don't tell mother, or father" You said, receiving a sigh and a small nod. While that night was a rollercoaster and felt like a few seconds, it felt like hours for Draco.
Theo walked to draco, well the others sorta knee by then about what happened, so they walked away and sat on another spot.
"Draco. How dare you" Theo said. "How dare I? She was the one who 'loved' me just because I'm a Pureblood" Draco scoffed.
"Listen, you don't get to just have fun after breaking my sisters heart. She's a mess, and after a day you acted like nothing happened, like you and her never exists and it broke her, you broke her and now your parents and mine are arranging marriage between the two of you, so you better fix things, or I'll fix them my self" Theo threatened.
"She doesn't even want to talk to me! " Draco said. "And was I the guy who broke her heart? You are, and, Id you don't fix things to atleast platonic level you two will spend the rest of your live in misery, maybe just her cause you don't even care do you? " Theo scoffed.
"I care for her, I love her! Until mom told me that we were getting married. I don't want to get married so young and I don't want to be with her, not because I believe that she only loves me because of my blood status, but because I need her to be happy, I don't want her marrying someone like me, I might love and care about her now but who knows what monster I might become later, I don't want to hurt her more" Draco mumbled.
"Well you fucked up already, Draco, just, do something and be lovely for her alright, Daphne told me she, she's not really at her best state so just don't force her into anything" Theo said, patting dracos shoulders before leaving, deciding it was enough rambling.
Well, that night not only Draco stayed up late, but the whole dorm. Everyone heard draco sniffing and mumbling, and being scrunched up on his bed.
And little did he know, you were doing the same thing too.
The next morning was tough. The trip to the great Hall was tough. Draco was so close yet so far. His eyes looked puffy 'he probably stayed up late talking shit or something ' you thought.
You barely ate your food, just watching Draco from afar, watching the person you couldve been happy with. The person you could've married happily. But now it's grim.
The library was silent, reading dorian gray was fun, especially when your fathers name is dorian. The book you used to read with draco was Lord of the rings. You wanted to continue but, it was too much. 'What happened to frodo, what happened to the shire' is what you would've asked if you were fine, but right now you were asking yourself if you were alright. The sun goes down, and the moon comes up.
"Y/n? " You recognised the voice. "Go away, like you told me to go away" You huffed. "Y/n, just wait" He said.
You turned and look at the blonde. Showing your bloodshot eyes, but shockingly, he had bloodshot eyes too. "What do you want draco? Make me feel bad again? " You said.
"No, never again y/n, it was a mistake! I knew we were going to get married before you did. I didn't want you to marry someone like me" Draco said, sitting on the chairs next to you.
"Well, haha, it happens that I want someone like you, you Draco, is it so hard to accept that I fell for you? " You said, standing up and putting the book where it was.
"It's not, y/n I know you love me and you know I love you! " He says. You ignored him.
"I just don't, you, you broke my heart Draco and you were out there having fun with your friends. Even they have some bit of common sense to care for me! Even in a brotherly-platonic way! But oh, you were having the best time of your life. The boys were worried, even crabbe too, but you didn't care did you? That you just full on broke my heart? We couldve sorted this out. And if you didn't want to spend you years with me we couldve solved this in a better way than breaking me into a million pieces! It's just not fair! "You cried out.
"Y/n, y/n, calm down, will you, love? ", Draco slowly got closer to you. Draco looks at your eyes. " I'm sorry, y/n, I really am sorry. I love you and, to know that I broke your heart messed me up and made me a bit of an asshole, but, I swear I'll be the best husband ever, y/n, I love you"
"I'm sorry too, Draco, I was a bit hars-", " You didn't do anything wrong " Draco cut off. "Well in that case, I love you" You smiled, the first genuine smile.
"We'll grow a family free from blood purity and all of that noble house of bullshit, we'll be a loving family, alright, doll? " Draco said, receiving a smile and a nod.

This can be read with or without reading my Yuri Briar x Fem! Spy! Reader series: An Alliance (part 1).
Beware! This fic DOES contain SPOILERS for the manga and for the Yuri Briar x Fem! Spy! Reader series: An Alliance (part 1)!
Series information: Setting is AFTER the reader rejoined WISE (so Yuri and [Y/N] are married and [Y/N] becomes an official double-spy).
Yuri doesn't exactly like celebrating his birthday, even when he was a kid he didn't care much. The only thing he really has to look forward to that day is Yor visiting him. Other than that, he sees the day as any other day. He wouldn't even celebrate if you and Yor didn't make him every year.
You and Yor would meet up the day before his birthday and bake a cake together. Afterwards, you'd both go shopping for birthday gifts.
Yuri swears he's in paradise on his birthday. You AND Yor both spending time with him, laughing and getting along with each other? That's enough of a birthday gift for him (until Loid and Anya walk through the front door).
Other than that, Yuri would rather spend the day relaxing off work. He'd be up to going for a walk or a restaurant for dinner, but he's a little simple.
"Yuri, it's your birthday, we're supposed to celebrate!" you explained.
"I know, I know. It's just... I've never really celebrated my birthday much growing up." Yuri admitted.
When his parents died at a young age, he didn't really have the time to celebrate when he was busy studying for school. Yor would at least make him a cake (it wasn't very good... or edible) before heading out for work, leaving him to his own devices for his birthday. He didn't have birthday parties because of how poor they were and he didn't make friends either for anyone to attend them.
"It is my responsibility as your wife to celebrate your birthday with you because according to this ring, I'll be with you for all your other birthdays." You spoke, showing him the silver ring with the ruby on top that he bought you.
Your words made him tear up, his face turning red as tears and snot rolled down his face.
"You're an angel!" he exclaimed, hugging you tight enough to suffocate you.
"I know, now let go before you kill me and I won't be here next year!" you gasped, hugging him back despite your words of "let go"
On your birthday, he's much more energetic and fun (he's a hypocrite).
He'd buy you your favorite flowers and cook your favorite breakfast for in bed. After breakfast he'd bake a cake from scratch using a cooking book (no, you cannot help. Go watch TV or read a book).
He'd take you somewhere that you like to go or that's of interest to you: an aquarium, zoo, park, flower garden, beach, sports game, anywhere you'd like.
He would blow his entire week's paycheck on gifts for you (he works for the state, he has the money).
"I have a reservation for that fancy restaurant that just opened up down the road." Yuri spoke, tying the tie on his suit.
"How'd you get that done? There was a waiting list before that place even opened?" you questioned, brushing out your hair.
"I have my ways." Yuri smiled.
"I hope none of those ways involved threats and bribery." You sighed, placing your hands on your hips as you looked at him.
"No, no, I would never!" he said in a high voice, obviously lying. "...Maybe a little."
"You'd go that far for me?" you questioned, holding your heart as a warm fondness stirred your chest, your heart beat raising. "You're such a sweetheart!" you cooed before kissing him on his cheek.
"Psh! It was nothing! I just wanted to do something for you since you did something for me on my birthday." He spoke, acting as if it was nothing (the blush on his cheeks and the smile on his face said otherwise).
Thank you so much for requesting! I do apologize for the request being short, I personally don't have much experience on birthdays due to growing up in a family where we don't do much for birthdays.

twenty questions for fic writers
tagged by @tetrapod7! thanks man, this was a fun one.
1. how many works do you have on ao3? 17 on my current account. there's more on my old one and obviously that doesn't count everything i published on other platforms (livejournal, ff.net) in the ancient days, lol
2. what's your total ao3 wordcount? again just on the wolfspider account, 168,153. i cant tell if that feels low or high to me
3. what fandoms do you write for? right now, just wild hrpf. in the past it's been mostly anime and various cartoons.
4. top five fics by kudos: i'm hitting the skip button on this because like. wrt my own work i think it's not a very good metric of EITHER how popular those stories actually were OR the quality of them; they're mostly the TUA ones and im chalking that up to that fandom being Huge when i was active. my most kudos'd fic of all time is still how much was mine to keep, though, and i think that one holds up.
5. do you respond to comments? i try to now. i went through a long phase of not engaging with comments due to Social Anxiety and also being kind of fed up with the hyper-combative culture in the fandoms i was in. like i wanted to just yeet my work out there and be done with it. in hrpf fandom i'm actually interested in the community aspect though so ive been trying to get over myself and respond as best i can.
6. what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? the brodsfabes time loop fic, hands down. it's weird because as a reader i am um. not very into unhappy endings or unconsummated angst but every once in a while when i'm writing i'll get into a Mood and write something viscerally upsetting. anyway that one was pretty clearly me processing some grief that was happening in my real life, lol.
7. what's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? probably entangled, from my spiderverse days. ngl i kind of hate it now though so let's move on from this. i think most of my fic has happy or at least ambiguously-positive endings, though.
8. do you get hate on fics? only one time ever and it was someone complaining that a ship i tagged for wasn't present in the story after One Chapter so. we're discounting that one. i've been pretty lucky!
9. do you write smut? yeah. my relationship with writing pornography ebbs and flows, like. sometimes i'll be really into it but sometimes i'll just stick a sex scene into a story where i feel like it's the least interesting thing that happens because people expect it and aren't going to read a romance that isn't leading up to that. i'm a horrible pervert and building up to a sex scene is an easy way to give your story a climax (...in multiple senses of the word) though so. why not.
10. craziest crossover: i don't write crossovers but if i did it would be the insane one ive been thinking about lately where the minnesota wild are stuck in the dungeon from dungeon meshi
11. have you ever had a fic stolen? not to a degree that i can prove it but part of the reason i left TUA fandom was somebody, in my opinion, ripped off large chunks of one of my fics and did just enough massaging of the language to make it defensible as Not Plagiarism. ruined the whole experience for me though.
12. have you ever had a fic translated? no, i think that would be one of the highest honors i could receive as a writer though. i wish i knew enough of a second language to translate my own work, but i'm still at like a kindergarten level in japanese so that will. Not happen.
13. have you ever co-written a fic before? tried to once with someone i am no longer friends with, it was a disaster. never gonna do that again. i am just too much of a control freak to relinquish any amount of creative decisionmaking i think.
14. all time favorite ship? don't have one! i tend to like hyperfixate on one ship for anywhere from one month to a year and a half and then when the brain juice runs out im Done and i never want to think about this concept again. im giving check please jackparse a point for being a ship i can read about post-fixation without getting bored but other than that. right now it's 725, in the future, who can say.
15. what's a wip you want to finish but never will? [stares at my overflowing gdocs draft folder. stares at the camera] i do not see it
16. what are your writing strengths? i like my prose, most of the time, and i think i'm pretty good at descriptive writing and like, internal character voice. sometimes i can accidentally stumble into excellent pacing
17. what are your writing weaknesses? INTENTIONALLY good pacing. writing dialogue that sounds like a human said it and not a sitcom character. i'm decent at line-by-line editing but awful at structural editing. recently ive become aware that i tend to subconsciously reuse certain plot beats a lot.
18. thoughts on dialogue in another language? like anything else, there's a way to do this that's fine and interesting and a way to do it that's insultingly terrible and it all depends on intent and execution. like if you're peppering in phrases in a second language just to show off that a character Is Foreign, don't do that. try to do it in a way that's realistic for how people talk. do it purposefully, i suppose
19. first fandom you wrote in? god dude i do NOT remember this was literally 21 years ago but probably either naruto or fullmetal alchemist.
20. favorite fic you've written? probably one of the unpublishable ones tbh. or the time loop one again. honestly i really like all my hrpf work, ive been putting out some bangers lately. it's nice to feel like ive been growing as an ~artist~ or whatever.

hi miko! im here with a fic writing question… i was thinking about how to make smut good bc recently i feel like whenever i get to the smut part of the fic im writing i get super bored, like im just rehashing whatever ive been writing in every smut scene ive done for years. you and endles came to mind bc i always find your guys nsfw scenes really compelling, and great, and unique. while also being hot and fun (very important w smut!!) so i wanted to ask if you had any tips for keeping things exciting or fresh when you are tackling those scenes! especially because you guys have experience writing the same characters many times over and manage to be so creative and distinct with every scene ive read from you. so, i guess, penny for your thoughts, if you feel like it! (sorry for sending this only to you and asking for both your opinions, it was the simplest 😭. if u want to answer yourself only thats fine haha)

Heyyyy oh my god I never expected to become someone ppl would come to for writing advice, what an honour 💖 also, I hope you don't mind me answering publicly, bc I feel like this is something a lit of writers struggle with! I will put it under a cut tho, bc I ended up writing quite a bit oops
So. Smut. It's kinda funny you should ask me about that, bc the first proper sex scene I ever wrote was last year for Steamship Sexcapades (bc I am not counting that one feeble attempt at 19 that was so cringe that I hid it away and didn't even think about trying again for like 8 yrs) but I suppose after writing *checks The Canon word count* a lot since then means something :DD
Here's the thing: I also feel like I'm rehashing things. Constantly. There's only so many ways you can say "cock in hole ➡️ thrust" before you're gonna have to repeat some phrases. And honestly, I feel like I repeat phrases remarkably often! But in a way that's all writing! (or that's how I stop myself from getting too depressed about it lol) The readers don't notice! Usually. And as long as you don't use the exact same wording every single time.
Ok, so here's a few tips on what I, personally, think you need to make a good sex scene:
Don't be afraid of the words. Y'know, the first time I wrote "half-hard cock" I (allegedly) had to take a 10min break and texted a friend that I was not going to be able to do this. But after a while you sort of get used to it and the words that seemed embarrassing stop being that, and become just... Words. And you also shouldn't shy away from more "cringe" words! Sometimes its fun to be a little cringe!
Related, you should try to love the words. But that's just good general writing advice, I feel.
Describe the emotions. Most people feel... something towards those they are intimate with, and that should be true in erotica too. It should be especially true in erotica, I think! Even if it's a one night stand, strangers who met in the club 5mins ago, whatever... You want the characters to feel.
Don't forget the physical. This is a thing that might seem a bit... weird. Like, you're writing sex, how could it not be physical? But what I mean is that you shouldn't forget to describe how it feels to the people involved, most notably your POV character. It's very easy to get lost in describing what they're doing and completely forget to get into the actual feeling. You're not writing a sex manual! And I have read fics where half way through I realise that's what it sounds like.
It's never just about the sex. Even if you think it is, it's not. It's about the connection, the narrative, the characterisation... It's about showing something that you can only show through the kind of vulnerable intimacy that sex scenes provide. Even if it's a oneshot pwp, it still has something to say. Maybe that something is wanting to get your rocks off, but also we're talking about fanfiction... We don't read and write that just to get off. It's always about the characters.
Rehashing is fine, actually. As I said, there's only so many ways to describe certain things, and so many ways you can have sex. Except that's not really true, because the secret to keeping it fresh is mixing it up! You can change positions, you can change who's the top/bottom, you can add foreplay (you should) and then change what kind of foreplay you wanna have! You can look into kinks! You can change locations! (I know we've done that a lot) You can add or remove any number of things to make each individual encounter different! And that's the key: repetition is fine, so long as you don't use the exact same everything every time. Case in point, there is a tumblr post which I would link except I'm on mobile, that is titled sth like "list of vocal sounds for smut", which has a list of, well, sounds/verbs (moan, groan, hiss, whimper, whisper etc) and adjectives that could be paired with them (hoarse, needy, quiet, throaty, desperate, wanton etc). The point is, that the best way to keep from sounding repetitive is to mix and match the words so that even if you say "groan" five times in 5k words, it's a different kind of groan every time. The same applies to sex acts! Do you have any idea how much cock Ryunosuke has sucked during The Canon? A lot. But it doesn't feel repetitive (hopefully) because everything else around it is switched up.
And perhaps most importantly: you gotta be at least a little horny for it yourself. I get it, man, writing smut is weird. You sit in front of your computer, staring at the monitor like "hmm is it better to use the word cock or dick or member?" And like... That's not very sexy. But! But!!! At the end of the day you gotta write something that makes you excited! Otherwise what's the point? Why are you writing if it doesn't fulfill you on some level??
Anyway, that's just my thoughts on the matter. If you want more specific help with writing, you can always DM me, I don't mind~
Also, endles says she is too mentally exhausted to properly answer, but she seconds everything I said, especially the point about loving the words. Actually she really wants to say sth about that, so I'm paraphrasing her for the rest of this:
You, as a writer, should love language. You should love the neat little things that language can do and seek out new things to try every time. It's a journey of discovery! Just like sex is always a new journey, even if it's the same characters and the same sex acts, every individual time is a chance to find something new. Let yourself have fun! Write something really stupid and work from that. The way I create scenes by writing jokes, even for serious scenes, because sex at the core is kinda funny. You're standing naked (at least partially) in front of this other naked person and it makes you feel a bit funny.
Also concrete advice: pick a list of 5-10 words you want to use. They can be anything, verbs, nouns, adjectives, as long as you really, really vibe with them, because they make you happy, as long as they're not words you already use a lot. They can also all relate to the same theme if you want! And then find a way to put all those words in.

what's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
i'm really starting to doubt my ability to finish seven miles out of freedom town. im gonna try my best but the hyperfixation has moved on and it feels more like a chore than something im enjoying rn. im really sorry to anyone that disappoints, it disappoints me too, cos wild things was genuinely some of the most fun i've ever had writing fic and interacting with a community. i'll try and get it finished, it might just take me a while.
what are your writing strengths?
i think im pretty good at dialogue, making it sound like something a real person would say.
i think im fairly decent at dramatic writing, at making things sound flowery and poetic and theatric. thats my favourite way to write.
dont think im too bad at characterisation most of the time.
what are your writing weaknesses?
i suck at worldbuilding. i think its boring and i dont care for it, i just want to write about the characters. planning bores me. i just write things and go back and fix inconsistencies later.
wild things is the most effort i've ever put into a world. i was googling locations like a mofo to make things accurate.
thoughts on dialogue in another language?
i think its great! one of my favourite fics has a character that speaks french and he uses it to tease other characters who don't know what he's saying. its done so beautifully.

if we're talking actual first fandom it was probably one direction or creepy pasta when i was like 13.
the first fandom i ever wrote for seriously was buzzfeed unsolved in 2018.
favorite fic you've written?
im very proud of washed clean, an angsty oneshot about gale/john. i really like the writing in that one.
i dont think i can pick a favourite, i have like three. hitchhikers and the axeman of new orleans were my starting points and really showed me the joy of writing fic that other people were going to read. i had a lot of fun writing those and i love me some dark themes.
wild things consumed my every thought for like, the 11 days i was writing it. ive never been so obsessed with one of my own fics before, it still blows me away how well it was recieved and i met some great people through it so im eternally grateful for that.

Bonus points for explaining the rating and whether it's conditional.
Age Gap: 0, neither here nor there. i mean... if you think about it too hard, dreamling has quite the age gap, no? but if we're talking modern and human au? i usually only read (adult aged, like 20 years old being the youngest) age gap fics by authors i trust and never go looking for it myself. it's not something im into and seriously skeeves me out otherwise.
Codependency: 3? maybe? not something i ever explored before dreamling (and patrochiles). i do like my ships to be equally dependent. but it kinda works for some dreamling. again, not something i actively think about. but if im reading a fic and i slowly discover that's the relationship, it doesn't bother me (just don't make it infantile, ya know?)
Enemies to lovers: 10. love that shit.
Enemies with benefits: 0. never actually read a fic with this trope. idk how to feel about it.
Fake dating/relationship: 5. when it's done right im a sucker for it.
Found family: 7. as someone who has her own family issues and would rather spend holidays with my friends, im into it.

Poly: -5. ive read maaaybe a couple fics with poly but im not into it personally and mostly avoid it.

Second chance: 7! i wrote a second chance fic lol there's such a lack of this trope in dreamling. i really enjoy it if done right.
Sex to feelings: 8. honestly i just love exploring any and all ways my ship can fall in love. that includes falling in lust first ;) (also it's like, always hot).
Slowburn: 8. it's agony. im addicted.
Soulmates: 0. something i really liked when i was a young fanfic consumer. now it kinda gives me the ick lol. it never makes sense in the modern world no matter how well thought out it is.

Serirei Playlist
Hey frens,
so a while back i put together a serirei playlist. ive never put together a playlist for a show i like before and i did things a little differently. instead of it being songs that i think are character vibes or songs i think they'd listen to, this playlist is meant to tell a story. each song is in response to the song before it with alternating POVs (there's an exception where reigen gets two songs in a row and one song is both of them together.)
below the cut I've put together a sort of summary of what i imagine happens in each chapter (song) and how this story progresses, along with fun facts about the playlist itself. i spent like a week putting this together so i hope y'all like it
This can be as post-canon or AU as you want, I think it works well either way. If I had to give it tags I'd give it:

The story this playlist tells is a bit of their lives before they met, their attempts (and failures) to meet in the middle, and then ultimately their success. I personally hc that Reigen has some major depression going on, a sprinkle of anxiety. (a """sprinkle""".) And it's something he refuses to acknowledge and it becomes a major stumbling point in his relationship with Serizawa.
2-5, a look into where both Reigen & Serizawa are individually, mentally and emotionally, prior to meeting
6, they've met and I imagine at this point have been working together for a while and Reigen's heart is like, oh hello?? And Reigen is very much haha NOPE, we're not doing this, that way lies pain. Like their opening tracks, this is all internal for Reigen, he's not communicating any of this to Serizawa which is part of the problem.
7, Head on Fire, MEANWHILE , Serizawa is definitely falling for him and loving it
8, I imagine at this point they've gotten together, they're dating but... Reigen is still holding back. Not his love so much as himself. The man has some mental health issues and needs to talk about some things and Serizawa can see that and is trying to get behind that and Reigen keeps pushing back. This song is full of mixed signals from Reigen. On the one hand he's saying he's gonna stop hiding, he's gonna open up, he's gonna stop being a ghost in this relationship, and that he WANTS to, but it's hard and he's scared and ultimately, he can't do it. He backs away.
9, Serizawa is basically pleading at this point because, I mean, the lyrics say it well enough, 'you can't live like this' but also Serizawa is like, I can do but so much, at some point Reigen HAS to meet him in the middle.
10, This is the turning point, Serizawa fully believes they can do this, they can make it work, and Reigen says he WANTS to but he's still not brave enough. They break up.
11, Some amount of time passes and Reigen finally tries to reach out, to bridge that gap. He misses Serizawa, he misses what they had, and he wants to try again.
12, Serizawa is, rightfully, a bit unsure. This is a lot of what Reigen had said before and although he never doubted Reigen's feelings, there's a lot of other stuff going on under the surface they can't ignore. He's not expecting Reigen to fix everything, or anything, right away, but he needs him to at least acknowledge there's something wrong.
13, Reigen gets to have a tantrum, as a treat. He doesn't really know where to start with what's going on with him, with why he puts himself in dangerous situations, why he smiles and jokes like everything is okay when it's clearly not. He doesn't have the words for it and just kind of bullshits his way through it (again) and panics. This is probably the one song that isn’t quite as close of a match lyrics-wise as I’d like, its mostly the chorus really but what can ya do
14, The instrumental half of this is key here. I imagine this is Reigen taking the time to actually wrangle his thoughts and his feelings, to work up the courage to be actually honest, even if it's to say he doesn't understand why he is this way. The second half is what he manages to admit.
15, The verses are Reigen & the chorus is Serizawa (until it switches to 'I'). They've still got work ahead of them but Reigen is being more open now, they've met in the middle, they just have to go forward--together.
16, Reigen's still feeling a bit anxious about all of this. Serizawa is SO supportive and patient and they're trying again and it can't be real, can it? He wants it to be.
17, Serizawa promises he's not going anywhere.
18, Some time has passed, they're still together, they're putting in the work, and it's hard but it's so worth it. Reigen is, for the first time in a long time, happy and letting himself feel that. He's not as afraid to open up to Serizawa and it feels like starting over again, but in the best way.
19, Mushy mushy wawa stands by his (probably canceled) wife
Fun Facts:
- There's a bit in Head on Fire, " I've been sitting here, hands on the wire / Trying not to fall, but I think I might" that I think is great and romantic and then hits really different when you get to "Two Birds", oof
- I just think having a song called 'ghosting' when they work at a spirit consultation office is neat
- there’s a line in ‘that was us’ , “But as I watched you fly away from me” that just goes right back to ‘two birds’, double oof
- I really like how "if you wanted honesty that's all you had to say" comes right after Believe, just IMMEDIATELY. And it feels so petty and bitchy in response to everything prior which like, yeah peak Reigen vibes lol
- Hearts A Mess & You're the One have a similar like,,, beat? Tempo? I'm not a music scientist idfk but You're the One makes me think of Hearts A Mess and I like how very opposite those songs are, it makes it feel like it came full circle

Me and my friend made this on call since we were both shocked,that for some reason, there were no "Whole new world" inspired fanfics of Kalim. Not that we know of,obvi. So yeah~ I did this because they told me I had the power to do it. Not because I wanted to.

It's fucking 11 am.
"Kalim it's almost midnight. Go to sleep"
Jamil said with a groan as he saw Kalim trying to stand up on his magic carpet.
"I need to have Y/n ride this! She mentioned that she thinks it'd be so romantic!!"
Kalim said as he nearly fell of the carpet
"It's past your f--.. frikin bed time"
"I'll be back before 1 am I promise! Pleaseee??"
Kalim pleads with puppy eyes
"No. Get down before you fall to your death"
"Aww.. you're no fun!".
Kalim whines as he used his magic carpet to go back to his room.
"He's gonna sneak out,I bet." Jamil muttered.

Knowing Kalim,he's an impatient bitch. He goes back to his room and without even a second later he gets back out and leaves.
No one can really tell him no.
"Jamil can't tell me what to do."
Kalim said as he sits down on his carpet,Criss cross apple sauce, with a grumpy look.
"Or.. maybe he can.."
he muttered as he stood infront of the mirror out of his dorm.
"I'm a terrible person..."
Kalim muttered as he sat down,hugging his knees infront of the mirror.
"Or not! He's just keeping me from having real fun!"
"But what if he loses his job.."
Kalim muttered as his magic carpet entered the mirror
"HEY WAIT!"
Kalim said as he jumped in the mirror too.
Now he was out of Scarabia.
"Eeh.. if he loses his job.. I'll just rehire him again!"
Kalim said as he jumped back on his carpet and set off to Ramshackle.
•Meanwhile•
"No you don't get it!!"
Y/n shouts at Yuuken and Grim who were yawning while listening to Y/n rant.
"Y/n please go to sleep."
Yuuken said as he snatched a pillow from Grim and used it to cover his ears
"LISTEN! HES CUTE OKAY?! AND NO MATTER HOW MANY MOTHER FUCKING PILLOWS YOU USE TO COVER YOUR DAMN EARS I WILL NOT STOP"
Y/n shouts as Yuuken stood up and left
"I'm sleeping on the couch. Grim,you can join."
"HE MADE A CUTE FACE AT ME! KALIM MADE A CUTE-"
Yuuken picks up Grim and leaves while slamming the door on Y/n.
"These morons are so bitter. Ehh you can't fall in love with someone you just met. Fuck him,I met Kalim 3 weeks before! And it was in secret!"
Y/n muttered as she stuck her tongue out and laid down on her bed. Still awake from thinking about Kalim.
*Knock knock*
Someone knocked on Y/n's window,lightly startling her as she turned to the source of the noise.
It was Kalim, waving at her with a warm smile.
Y/n smiled as she slowly walks toward the window and opened it.
"Aww~ hey Ka-- WAIT KALIM?!"
Y/n shouts at Kalim
"shh! We're gonna get caught!!"
Kalim said as Y/n nods
"My room is in the second floor.. how did you..?"
Y/n asked as Kalim backed away,revealing that he was standing under a floating carpet.
"What.. is that?"
Y/n asked with a slight chuckle.
"A.. magic carpet?"
Kalim said as he chuckled along
"Say,do you trust me?"
Kalim asked as he reached out a hand for Y/n. She was in disbelief.
"W..what?"
"Do you trust me?"
Kalim asked once more as Y/n's shocked face didn't wear off.
"Fuck no!" Y/n said as Kalim's smile faded.
"..w..what?"
"Bitchass I was joking!" Y/n said with a hysteric laugh
"Yes.. I do"
Y/n said as she reached through the window for his hand and out of her room and onto the magic carpet.
"W-.woah.."
"careful,you're gonna fall"
Kalim said as he helped Y/n stand on the carpet by holding on her waist and hand.
Once they both sat down in the carpet with Y/n clinging into Kalim's arm as if her life depended on it.
Kalim blushes lightly
"O-oh.. sorry bout that! I don't do too well with heights.."
Y/n said as she nervously let go and trying not to look down
"T..there wasn't really any of these carpets back home"
Y/n muttered as Kalim smiled as wrapped an arm around Y/n's shoulder
"Don't worry! I'll make sure you don't fall,trust me!"
Kalim said as their eyes met.
Both did turn away and hid a blush before the carpet started moving on it own.
Startling Y/n and making her hug Kalim's torso.
"Woah-!"
Kalim said as he wrapped an arm around Y/n's waist.
He realized she was so scared that her eyes were glued shut
"It's alright,nothing to be afraid of!"
Kalim said as Y/n slowly opened her eyes and saw a beautiful scenery that was above the clouds.
Y/n felt the cold mists of the clouds
"Woah.. This is so cool..!"
Y/n muttered as her grip loosened up around Kalim and she looked around
"It's like a whole new world up here!"
Y/n said as her hand held Kalim's.
He blushed a little but Y/n was too busy admiring the wonderful night.
"I always do this,just a little something that makes me feel better after an uneasy day"
Kalim said as he scratched his neck in nervousness
"So this is what you've been doing? Gatekeeping this world above the clouds from me?!"
Y/n said as a joke as she laughed making Kalim's heart clench
"then,let me share this whole new world with you"
Kalim said as he smiled at Y/n. Looking into her gorgeous eyes,getting lost in them.
"You're so beautiful when you're happy"
Kalim said with a smile as Y/n looked over to him.
"You're always so busy and tense.. y'know? You and Yuuken are constantly talking about stuff about your dorm and school that I feel like you need a break"
Kalim said as Y/n felt her insides fuzz up and feel relaxed around Kalim on the carpet.
"That's not true,I.. I took some breaks."
"No you don't,you always go for things that benefit everyone and not you"
Kalim said as Y/n scoffed.
"Tell me, princess.
When did you last let your heart decide?"

alim asked as he held Y/n's cheek. "I.. uh.." Y/n nervously said as she looked away.
Shit.. that was so awkward! I didn't even answer his questions properly!
"H..hey uh.. it's breezy up here,yeah?"
Y/n said as she laid her head on his shoulder
"Y..yeah.. your pajamas are pretty cute but doesn't look like it's gonna help you in the cold. Here,take my scarf" Kalim said as he removes it and wrapped it around Y/n's shoulders. "Thanks! I love (fav animal)" "I can tell,your pajamas is literally that" Kalim said as Y/n lightly punched him.
The two were nothing but fools in love. They both like each other,it was obvious. Yet,no one wants to admit it.

The whole time they were talking about their experiences and alot of jokes.
"Jamil would be so furious if he knew about this"
Y/n joked as Kalim laughed
"He would go berserk! That reminds me,I should hey you back.. Don't want you to miss your beauty sleep"
Kalim said as Y/n pouts
"I love it here! No Grim to worry about,No Yuuken to act sass on me! No Crowley to come to me when he has a problem"
Y/n said as she gripped on the scarf around her shoulders.
The carpet lowered a little to be under the clouds and still be able to see where they were flying above.
They were in the town.
"Woah..! It's so pretty!"
Y/n said as she looked down
"Looks like you got over your dear of heights"
Kalim said with a chuckle as the carpet lowered to be hovering over the empty streets and flew past several stands.
Kalim noticed a closed flower shop with display flowers out in the open.
Kalim tried to grab a handful but all he got were two flowers
"Sheesh.. That's the first time I saw you steal"
Y/n said as a joke as Kalim laughs
"Hey,even the carpet took one!"
Kalim mentioned as he took it and gave the flowers to Y/n
"Not really a fancy bouquet,but I'll give you one tomorrow! A really big one! But for now,this is what I got.. not alot but meaningful cuz I would totally steal for you"
Kalim said with the sweetest smile as Y/n blushed and accepted it.
"Meaningful? Kindly explain what these flowers mean then"
Y/n teased as Kalim looked nervous
"I.. don't know what half of these flowers are.."
Kalim muttered as Y/n chuckled
"This one is a tulip, a hydrangea and a heather"
"Heather? Flowers can have human names?"
Kalim asked cluelessly
"who knows,maybe humans are named after flowers"
"*gasp* a loophole!"

Soon,Y/n and Kalim got back to Ramshackle.
"I'll help you in"
Kalim said as he helped Y/n enter her room through the window.
"That was fun!"
Y/n said as she smiled at Kalim
"We can do this every day!"
Kalim said as Y/n fished something out of her pocket,a pen.
"Give me your hand"
Y/n said as Kalim did as he was told and Y/n started writing.
"That's my number,call me when you wanna go in a carpet ride together!"
Y/n said with a faint pink blush ok her cheeks
"Of course! We're gonna have alot more fun!"
Kalim said as he bid adieu to Y/n and left.
"The flowers!"
Y/n whisper shouted as she took a plastic water bottle and filled it up with water and placed the flowers in to save it.
Y/n closed her window before laying down in bed, remembering about Kalim's scarf and smiling.
I'll give it back tomorrow.. his scent is.. really nice..
And with that,Y/n drifted to sleep.
Bonus✨:
Kalim 'sneakily' made his way back to his dorm room with a chuckle.
It was dark and he could barely see anything,but he did memorized his room to know where his bed was as he jumped into it.
"What time is it?"
A strict tone said followed by the light switch in Kalim's room turning on,blinding him with the sudden brightness
"AHGG!!"
Kalim said as he shut his eyes and slowly opened them to his suprise.
"Why so pale? Kalim"
Jamil said as he was leaning on Kalim's door with squinted eyes
"ECK! J-Jamil! I-I didn't know you were here! How are you?!"
Kalim said nervously as he wipes the sweat off his suddenly now pale face
"Did you sneak out?"
Jamil asked,even more angered.
"n-no! I didn't! I swear! Why would I do that?! You said not to so I flew into my room and here I am!"
"You just entered your room through the window,Kalim."
"Did not!"
"You don't fool me"
Jamil said as Kalim was clearly almost going to cry,so Jamil gave it a rest.
"Don't keep doing that if you still wanna see Y/n"
"You're not gonna hurt her,right..?"
Kalim said nervously as Jamil ruffled his eyebrows
"No? Why would I? I'm glad you finally found your counterpart so why would I take that from you? Y/n is skilled,she can help me take care of you"
and with that,Jamil left with a sigh.
"I got away with it?... Yes..!"
Kalim whispered as he high fived the carpet and drifted to sleep,thinking about the earlier events he had with Y/n.

He let it slide.
