A lot of people don't see our struggle. A lot of people don't see our pain. Sometimes, it feels like most.

And most of the neurodivergent community doesn't know what "lazy" really means: "unwilling to work or use energy."

Struggling means, "striving to achieve or attain something in the face of difficulty or resistance."

Lazy = "unwilling" therefore struggling ≠ lazy

Tiny things worth staying alive for:

-trying new tea flavours

-birds singing in the spring mornings

-being at ur favourite coffee shop with ur friends(family or by yourself)

-finding a new show you really like

-new clothes

-fresh linens

-PUPPIES

-autumn leaf colors

-finding new songs you love

-the very moment you are done cleaning your room/apartment/house ect.

-buying candles

-dark blue light coming through windows in the early mornings and knowing you have hours left to sleep

-dog cuddles

-the smell of books

-you haven't met all the people you will love and who will love you

-holidays

-seeing that your plants/flowers have grown

-hotel breakfast

-buying plushies(even as an adult)

-puting on lotion after shower

-pink sunsets (or any type of sunsets)

-dogs waving their tail when they see you

-making someone laugh

-smell of the rain

-dying your hair

-healing crystals

-sunlight coming through trees when walking in a forest

-the first snow

-putting on warm socks

-morning coffee (or tea)

-meeting someone who likes the same things as you

-flowers and trees blossoming when spring arrives

-CONCERTS

-early morning air

-fluffy blankets

-seeing a beautiful view when hiking

-knowing you have a day off the next day

-seeing a deer when walking in a forest

-butterflies flying around you

-singing in the car alone (or with friends)

-drinking out of a new mug

It seems counter-intuitive to romantics and those who feel ready to partner when someone walks away. But some people can only handle a half-love because a whole love shines a light on their dark places. Real intimacy requires real presence. If someone isn't ready to be truly here on an individual level, they will find it very difficult to manage all the triggers that come up in connection. Only a small few can hold the gate open when profound love enters. A blessed and courageous few.”
