— im not even sure if this mf can read 😭😭
— honestly 9/10 chance he can't but when has that ever stopped him from being our most supportive himbo king
— go king give us everything!!
— he doesn't get why you read books when instead you can be like sleeping or eating or looking at the sea but well, he doesn't question it
— he just thinks it's a weird hobby you have (i don't think he's aware of how freakishly illiterate he is)
— but just cause he thinks it's weird that doesn't mean he wouldn't hug you half-asleep when he hears you sobbing into the dead of the night or he wouldn't listen with keen interest when you explain the plot of your favourite book as he wraps his arms around you and hums into your hair
— will 100% offer to fight the author/ tear up the book everytime he sees you having a breakdown over a particular scene/character
"who should I kill?!" the deadpan seriousness in his voice is what terrifies you
"nobody! I'm okay–"
— after you explain to him that hurting somebody is not necessary and you're fine, he will try to coddle you with extended hugs and food (lots and lots and lots of food).
"yn you should eat something! should I get you something to eat??" you can hear the panic in this poor boys voice 😭😭
"no luffy, its okay. im fine!" you say through sniffs and snorts, eyes bloodshot from crying over ink on paper
"brb" and he gets you dinner enough for 5 people because that's how he knows to comfort you (willingly took sanjis kicks and namis punches to accomplish this mission)
— since he's a clingy little child, he will hold onto you some way or the other when you're reading
— you're reading in your room while he's fast asleep? his arm is draped across your waist lazily. you're on the other side of the deck, sunbathing and reading? his hand is stretched out from where he's sitting and on your thigh (ussop tripped thrice over his hand, rip god ussop 🙏) . you're reading during breakfast cause the book just got so good? his toe is rubbing your calf up and down periodically (he won't stop no matter how many weird looks you give him)
— conclusion: he doesn't at all get it what it is, but if it makes you happy he will spend all the berries in the world to buy you those books (plz know if you actually ask him to jokingly off an author for killing your favourite character, he will do it. please don't ask him that.)
— he's just so supportive and nice 😭😭

— even he can there's like literally no evidence to prove it and the entire crew has come to the conclusion that he gets lost even with clear directions because he just can't read please 😌👌
— at the start, he actually thinks it's dead stupid to invest so much time reading books when you can do other stuff like getting stronger, sleeping, literally doing anything else (luffy backs up his opinion with full enthusiasm)
— i mean like he's seen you sob at 7 in the morning over breakfast cause your fav character died and now he's confused as to why are you spending money and buying books if they make you cry so hard (he doesn't understand the concept of angst im afraid)
— but over time he just accepts it as something you enjoy and well, if it makes you happy then who is he to question it?
— acts like he doesn't care/isn't listening when you're rambling about the plot and how thE MAIN CHARACTER IS IN LOVE WITH HIS ENEMY AND VICE VERSA SKEJFHSJKSN but is actually fully listening
— he's actually invested at one point
"but they are enemies? why does he wanna be with him?"
"you don't get it! thats the appeal!!"
"the appeal is forcing a knife on somebody's throat?" he's laughing, "as if you'd enjoy it if i threatened you with my swords"
"... i would actually enjoy that"
he is now asking nami for loan to send you to a therapist (nami has seen you nosebleed over fictional characters and is considering giving money away to zoro for free. you really do need help.)
— as I said, he's invested now (although he does question your taste every now and then) but he'd force you to either summarize the plot to him as he trains or read out loud so he can hear the story as it goes.
— so naturally you're now sitting on his back, reading out loud as he does push-ups
— this beloved himbo has now formed strong opinions about characters and will battle you with headcanons because "there's no fucking way the hero would ever go back to the villain after that! that's ridiculous! if he does I'll sell my swords off."
— will remember the stuff you told him, no matter how trivial, so if you get off an island and he spots a keychain from your fav book series he's spending whatever money he has left to buy you it
"oh excellent choice! who are you buying it for?" the shopkeeper lady questions aloud
"oh, my girlfriend." he's smiling, "my girlfriends a nerd."
— actually looks forward to you telling him all the plot details and jokes at this point (one might call him a part of the fandom now)
— when you're a crying, sobbing mess because a character died, he's genuinely comforting you (no matter how bad he is at it)
"yn it's okay, you want some sake?" he is hugging you, patting your head like you're a child
"no 😭😭" you sob harder into his chest
"well... that's the best i can offer"
he tried. it's not his fault you don't wanna drink your feelings away.
— conclusion: he started off thinking its stupid and now he's an honorary nerd. would never admit it though. stubborn asshole.

— he actually liked reading books before you even joined the crew although his tbr consists of cookbooks and auto-biographies about the people he has some interest in
— he started reading so that he could impress zeff with his knowledge on cooking and other miscellaneous stuff (imagine kid!sanji reading a book till late night under a lamp cause he wants to impress his old man that's so cute 😭😭)
— respects your hobbies when he finds out you like reading
— and then he sees your book collection. whY ARE THERE LIKE 5000 BOOKS HERE?! NOW HES SCARED FOR YOUR SANITY CAUSE GIRL WTF
— he hears you recommend a book to robin/nami once and now he's running to the nearest bookstore on the next island you guys land on to buy it

well seems like everyone’s favourite couple is no longer together. charles leclerc and his longtime girlfriend of 7 years y/n y/l/n have accordingly split up. neither have commented on their breakup, but their shared photos have all been deleted from their social accounts and they have unfollowed one another. we wish them both the best in the future and will miss all the charles and y/n content we’ve gotten over these years!

Flickering lights. Hollering paparazzi. Click, flash, shudder. Pedro smiles through it all then is redirected to a few interviewers.
The interviewer he is redirected to beams at the sight of him, adjusting his grip on his mic, "hi! How are you?"
Pedro smiles, "I'm good. How are you?"
"I'm great! I'm so excited to see what you have in store for us, as I'm sure everyone else is," he motions to the camera.
Pedro places a hand on his heart. He thanks him, "that means a lot. I'm excited for everyone to see as well."
"Are you nervous at all?"
Pedro blows a raspberry, "I feel like I'm about to pass out any second."
He laughs, "is that the same thing you felt when you were talking to Y/N Y/L/N?"
Pedro's eyes widen a fraction. He lets out a chuckle then stills for a second before playfully slapping the man's arm. He laughs so hard that he can't respond. His face grows a bit red.
The interviewer laughs with him.

"Let's talk about it," the young interviewer says, pursing her lips, pinching the air with her manicured nails.
I let out a breathy chuckle and nod, "let's."
"Pedro Pascal."
"Pedro Pascal," I repeat with a smile, continuing to nod.
"I want to know everything," she says, adjusting her headphones and her mic, "we at Radio 100, along with the rest of the world, want to know--" she turns to me, "--how did you bag the baddie?"
I break into laughter.
The host stresses, "the baddie."

The interviewer chuckles with me and motions, "because goodness knows we're all going to be taking notes."
I sigh and think for a moment. I link my hands together and prop them on the table in front of me, "ya know, I was just real with him."
She nods, eager to know what else I had to say.
"I told him," I shrug, "I could bring him in hot or I could bring him in cold."
She breaks into a fit of laughs before I even finish the sentence. I laugh along with her, pleased with the reaction I garnered. She wheezes, "no but did you really?"
"Absolutely not," I snort, "that would have been great though, wouldn't? I'm pretty sure if I did do that, he would have cried."
We both cackle.
"Like," I chuckle, "don't know if it's a good cry or a bad cry but there would have been tears."

a/n: this is awful, my brains not braining and the ending weak but hey! its done😌
alessia is not a morning person.
you know because you cannot count the number of times her ten alarms blare, and her- without fail hit 'snooze' each time.
you lay awake- scowling at the annoying chime playing from her phone for the umpteenth time.
"less- baby, please."
the blonde pays you no mind- her arm tightening her hold on you, she shoves her face into your neck, and you squirm at her warm breath fanning your skin there.
you can barely get an arm out from her hold on you, to tap her on the shoulder- sick of the alarm continually interrupting your peace.
you whack her on the shoulder harder when she doesn't budge, and she barely moves an inch- still unresponsive to the world.
"less."
you try- nothing.
"less."
she's offically dead to the world.
"alessia."
"hey!- you never call me that."
your jaw drops in shock- scooting away from her.
"have you been awake this whole time?!"
she doesn't answer you- pouting in bed next to you. looking down at her lap, her hair messy from sleeping.
"baby- have you been awake this whole time?"
"no- i only just woke up not that long ago."
"you respond to baby, but not your name? hmm strange."
"well- you're not allowed to call me my name, it's baby to you."
"riight. okay baby, whatever you say."
"why are you even waking me up? it's my day off."
alessia- who's too busy stretching to notice you- grunts when you smack a pillow into her face.
"hey! excuse me, i. did. not. wake. you. up. your stupid ten thousand alarms did."
you hit her with the pillow between each word.
alessia grabs the pillow at your last attempt to hit her- and she throws it to the side- wrapping you up in her arms instead, and holding you to her chest.
"shhhh, sleep now."
"less, baby, we can't sleep- there's things to do."
"shhh, sleep time."
"fine. thirty more minuets- thats it."

an hour later- you press a soft kiss to her forehead.
"come on baby- time to get up now."
"youre mean to me."
alessia says- smiling up at you from the bed.
"mmh oh yeah- so mean, the meanest, now get up and make the bed. and you can start the laundry when youre up."
"wait- this is actually mean now!"
she calls out after you as you leave the room.
"so mean!"
you yell from the kitchen.
you hear the sheets rustling and alessia starts humming as she makes the bed- you hum along, memorising the song from listening to her. and you smile to yourself.

after breakfast is made and alessia has begrudgingly started the laundry. you both lay on the couch- her legs propped up on your lap as you rub her shins softly.
its nice- getting moments alone to just sit with her, both in your own world.
it's not often that it happens now- and as much as you are so, so proud of alessia and everything she's doing for her career
you miss her.
"darling?"
you look at her.
"oh yes? sorry i just got lost for a bit."
"nothing- it's okay. i love you so much."

the day continues slowly- both of you working together to finish chores piled up from ignoring it through the week.
and by the time you're making dinner, alessia is hovering over your shoulder stealing pieces of food.
you smack her hand away when it reaches again for the sixth time.
"no- wait for dinner."
"im just making sure its not poisoned baby."
"oh yeah, sure."
she smiles at you and kisses you- grabbing your hips to pull you away- you get distracted in her arms before the smell of burning takes your attention.
"lessi! not again- go away! you're too distracting here!"

much later, you're on the couch- cuddled up with alessia, take out boxes on the tea table, the dinner you were trying to make burnt and stuck on the pan- left forgotten in the sink.
you feel her press a kiss to your forehead.
"i love you."
"i love you too... you're a terrible sous chef though."

A/N: a new Sam fic is due babes 😌 i also loveee the middle pic sm it gives me such her vibes like hello? 🤭 ALSO I KIND OF WENT OFF TRACK IM SORRYYY
You can’t focus, your surroundings are far too overwhelming. Sam and Mindy just made it across the ladder and they’re yelling trying to rush you across, Anika is on the bed with her organs practically spilling out, and you’re trying to crawl across a ladder from extremely high up with an injured arm and an injured leg.
Tara and Chad had managed to run out of the apartment, Mindy got her arm slashed, and Anika got a brutal attack to her abdomen. You got attacked trying to protect your lovely girlfriend, Sam. It was worth it though since she didn’t get hurt at all. It would all be worth it, all you have to do is successfully make it to the other side.
“Y/n, come on!”
“You can do it, baby!”
“Hurry!”
You grunted and crawled faster, Anika’s cries from the bedroom and the encouraging yells from your friends motivated you. “Just look at me, y/n. Focus on me,” Sam said while reaching out to you. You shakily grabbed her hand and she pulled you across. Danny, the neighbor, picked you up and helped you through the window. Once your feet landed on the ground you broke into a sob and crashed into Sam’s arms.
“You’re okay, I’ve got you. Everything’s okay,” she told you while rubbing your back soothingly. She’d never tell you but she was terrified you wouldn’t make it. She couldn’t lose the love of her life, she wouldn’t be able to make it. She’s not sure what’d she do if she lost you, but she does know she wouldn’t sleep until the Ghostface that killed you was in the ground. There was no need to worry about that though cause you weren’t dead, you were alive and breathing and she’d go out of her way to make sure you stayed that way.
Sam was brought out of her thoughts by Danny, Mindy, and yourself shouting at a struggling Anika on the ladder. She was shaking, the poor girl was bleeding everywhere and Sam’s anxiety suddenly spiked. “Anika, you have to move right now!” Mindy yelled, “Cmon Anika! You can do it!” You followed. Sam watched with wide fearful eyes as Ghostface slammed his knife in the windowsill and gripped the ladder Anika was slowly crawling across. She muttered a curse and rushed to the window.
“Anika! You have to hurry!”
Anika looked behind to see Ghostface with the ladder in hand and started screaming, “No! No! Guys I can’t do it!”
“You can, Anika!”
Ghostface started moving the ladder quickly. Anika started violently shaking and rattling on it, she was going to fall. “Anika move, I’ll grab your hand!” Sam yelled at the girl. Anika’s sobs restricted her from responding but she sluggishly moved towards the other side. Ghostface started moving the ladder from side to side causing Anika to shake rapidly. Mindys heart dropped at the realization that her girlfriend was making this out alive.
“Baby I don’t want to die!” Anika yelled at her girlfriend. “You wont!” Mindy sobbed. “Grab my hand Anika!” Sam shouted since the girl was in reach. Anika reached out, one hand no longer on the ladder and Ghostface takes this opportunity to roughly lift and then tilt the ladder to the side. Anika fell to the ground with a blood curdling scream.
The world went quiet for a moment, you looked between Anika’s dead body and the Ghostface on the other side. He took his knife and left the scene. Mindy dropped to the ground sobbing and you kneeled down to comfort her. Sams eyes flashed with anger just thinking about the killer and their stupid plans. She was going to finish this, she was going to end the endless suffering Ghostface caused.
She needed to protect the ones she loved. She would do anything. “Come on the police are here,” Danny said quietly. You nod and helped Mindy stand up. You interlock arms with her and Sam grabs your free hand, you give her a small smile before you start walking.

It was the next morning and you guys were sitting in an ambulance while the police searched the apartment. Mindy was wrapped in a blanket with Taras head on her shoulder, Chad had his arms crossed while he stood protectively in front on the vehicle’s doors, and you were standing with Sam near the alley. She had her arms wrapped around you and her head on yours. Out of the corner of your eye you saw Ethan ducking under the caution tape, just as you were about to go up to him Chad beat you to it.
Chad slammed him against a news van and asked him a few questions before Ethan saw you. Chad let him go and Ethan quickly went up to you. “Y/n, I’m so sorry-”
“Stay the fuck away from her,” Sam told him while getting in between the two of you. You put a comforting hand on Sam’s shoulder, “It’s okay, Sam,” you turned to Ethan, “Where the fuck were you though? What happened to studying, Ethan?” You asked sternly. He was suspicious. “I-I’m sorry I got caught up at econ. I tried calling, but you didn’t answer..” he stammered. You eyed him up and down then looked at Sam’s cold expression. Looking back at the boy you nodded in understanding, “It’s fine.”
He looked at you apologetically and went over to Chad and the others. They treated him the same way you did, like a number one suspect. You turned to Sam and hugged her, “Thank you.” She stumbled back a bit, stunned at the impact, “For what?” she asked you. “For always having my back.”
She smiled and hugged you back carefully so she didn’t injure you further, “You’re welcome.”
You were too good for this world, too good for her, too good to be hunted down by a serial killer. You didn’t deserve any of this shit. Sam gritted her teeth at the thought of you getting hurt again. That asshole was going to be put 6 feet under and she’d make sure of it. She’d do it herself.

you knocked at the door to see their house elf, corby. “good afternoon young ms y/l/n! your parents are at the study room, may i have your bag?” corby greeted, after all these years the malfoys still own elves.

when you entered the room you saw a crying astoria, in dracos arms and a reallt strict looking narcisss and lucius looking at astoria. then theres your parents at the side, looking concerned at the couple.
“hi everyone...” you greeted everyone in the room awkwardly, narcissa looked happy to see you and quickly sat up and gave you a warm embrace, narcissa personally thinks that you and draco should've ended together, since astoria was kinda snobby towards narcissa.
“oh y/n dear! we have some bad news...”
draco looked up at you amd smiled warmly, but astoria took a look at his face and slapped his arm.
narcissa and lucius began to explain to you that astoria couldn't bare a child since, a unkown blood curse she had developed when she was a child. the malfoys needed a new heir, a grand child.
“will you be our surrogate y/n? your parents agree, we just need you to agree.”
you thought for a moment, why did they chose out of all people.. why did they choose you? couldn't they just adopt a child?
“hm, why can't they adopt a child though?” you questioned, lucius quickly responded and said ; “well, we did thought about about adoption but it wouldn't be by blood meaning the malfoy line would be ruined over a stupid adoption, so we need it by blood meaning draco will be sleeping with you, we need the child to be atleast related to ”

you took a look at your parents, and they gave you a supportive nod, you take a look at draco his eyes lighting up with hope.
draco is your best friend, you'd do anything for him.
even carrying his baby, that wont be even yours.
