I've been so obsessed with Rock Lee for the last few months after getting into Naruto and I'm so glad someone's taking requests for my favourite ninja! If it's not too much trouble, I'd like to see you write Rock Lee helping reader stretch before a work out but since reader isn't really flexible or is just not all that active, they make a lot of, ahem, suggestive noises while stretching. Love your work, can't wait to see more!!
Rock Lee Helping Reader Stretch
Warnings: Suggestive, borderline NSFW. It’s implied.
Basically: You make noises while stretching that Rock Lee’s horny brain can’t ignore.
Recently, your joints and muscles have been killing you. Maybe your half ass stretching routine wasn’t doing the trick, you figured. Even though you knew change had to happen, you just didn’t know how to stretch your muscles out properly for the extensive training you do with Lee.
Usually he shows up earlier than you, so you don’t see him stretching, but you know he’s keen on making sure he stretches properly so he’s probably stretching for a while beforehand. So you decide to show up 40 minutes before you usually would, seeing him just now setting up to stretch and warmup.
He’d clearly been out jogging prior to this. And in your mind, you know he’s done a runners stretch so isn’t that enough? Why does he need to stretch again? (Him and Gai would both scream at you for this way of thinking)
“Hi Lee.” You greet him with a small smile, already exhausted from the training you haven’t even started just by looking at his energetic, muscular self. Somewhere in your mind, you’ve managed to convince yourself that you’re winded from the walk to the training grounds, and that Lee is not the reason your breath catches in your throat.
You’ve seen him like this for so long, I mean, you’re on the same team as him now. The only 4 person squad, 5 if you count Gai sensei. You’re so close to all of them, and that’s been normal. Perfectly normal. But recently, your eyes linger on Lee just a little too long.
“Oh hey y/n! I didn’t see you there!” He smiles, the white of his teeth flashing at you in the sun line. Sometimes you wonder how he’s so positive, but then again, you don’t mind it so much anymore. He literally glows though, you swear on it.
“Can I ask you a favor?” You ask, suddenly a little nervous. Your palms are sweating. You try to ignore that.
“Of course! What is it that you want to ask?” He asks, enthusiastically. His smile is almost infectious.
“My joints and muscles ‘n shit are killing me. Can you help me stretch? I don’t know what I’m doing wrong…” You move your neck like you’re trying to get out a knot or something.
Lee agrees, and decides to start simple. He has you put your arms behind your back, your hands joined together, and tells you to stretch them back as far as you can. Then do the same with the front.
After that, he has you do a similar thing with your hands joined over your head before moving down to the ground to stretch out your upper body best. Then your shoulders, elbows, and neck all separately. Then he has you get on the ground to stretch out your back.
And maybe he didn’t think too much about the position, but have you stretch your back up and lower yourself down also meant your ass was up in the air as you arched your back. You realize how embarassing the position is, and what you don’t notice is the way his cheeks flush and he pries his eyes away from your body.
“U-uh great! Let’s do legs!” He says rather quickly, helping you to get into as low of a splits position that you can, before having you lean forward. To get the best stretch, he pushes down on your body a tiny bit. And before you can stop yourself, you let out a moan.
His hands still against your back, and your eyes go wide as you freeze too. Soon you feel him move away, telling you to switch sides. And he repeats the same thing on this side. Much to your disdain, an even louder moan accidentally slips from your mouth. Curse yourself for not being able to be quiet at a time like this.
When you finally sit back up, he’s staring at you. You can’t help but gulp down any salvia you had in your mouth. Then you notice the way his hands are covering the front of his pants. When he notices where your eyes shifted, his blush intensifies and he starts stammering.
“I-I am so sorry! I didn’t mean— you were just—“ you cut his rambling off with a kiss, crawling over closer to him. You situate yourself on his lap, his hands darting out for your hips. The kiss doesn’t break until you’re both desperate for more air than you can get with your mouths connected. Before your mutual panting even halts, he smashes his lips back onto your desperately. And at this point, he’s boldly getting handsy.
You can feel the desperation and lust through his finger tips and they find their way around your body. Any curve, dip, anything, he feels for it. And soon he’s laying back on the grass, panting as a string of saliva connects the both of you even as you part.
The look in his eyes told you that what was about to happen at these training grounds should not happen at the training grounds. Your eyes told him you didn’t care the least about that, however.

Alright so this is possibly the dumbest idea I’ve ever had. But like somehow it holds together almost too well.
Stranger Things crossing over with The 25th Annual Putnum County Spelling Bee.
Please let me explain, this is a long one I’m sorry:
If you don’t know, the 25th (what I’m going to call it from now on) is about 5 strange kids from mostly broken families (and Chip) competing to win a spelling bee. It’s a great and really funny musical about trauma and innuendos and just how strange both spelling bees and the kids who compete in them are. Also it has 4 randomly chosen audience members come up to actually participate in the spelling bee itself (pretty cool).
Now here’s why the characters line up almost perfectly. (At least in my understanding of them all, if I’m wrong please argue with me lol I invite it.)
Let’s take the two main leads, Olive Ostrovsky and William Barfée. They line up stupidly well with Nancy and Jonathan. Olive is a pattern seeking brainiac whose only friend is the dictionary with incredibly negligent parents and a very strong desire to escape, which mimics Nancy’s need to hide herself in solving mysteries and finding stories to avoid her own trauma and the complete lack of anybody to ever stick up for her. They both bury themselves in gaining as much knowledge as they can because the worst thing that can happen is to be left with their own thoughts, Olive is also the emotional center of the show. Barfée is a pretty witty and weird kid who pushes everybody else away and holes up into his own little world but also has a heart of gold, mimicking Jonathan’s… well everything.
These two in the 25th end up with a really sweet friendship (and maybe romance?) by the end of the show, both finding understanding in each other for their mutual strangeness. Just like Nancy and Jonathan do. (Barfée is usually double-cast as Leaf’s dad).
Okay but what about the other 4 kids? I’m glad you asked!
Robin makes a wonderful Logainne (Schwartzy) SchwartzandGrubenierre. A very self-loathing loudmouth anxious perfectionist who is a constant disappointment to her parents but has really large dreams. Oh yeah, she also runs the gay-straight alliance at her school. She’s mocked by classmates and at one point during the show goes on a two minute (improvised?) rant about something to do with politics because she finds the bee unfair and wants to run for president one day. And she famously is the one who manages to annoy Panch enough to literally break him. Logainne really just wants happiness for the people around her, despite having a panic attack at the thought of losing she doesn’t want anybody else to lose either. I don’t know if I need to explain why Robin fits here lol but I will if pressed. (Double cast as Leaf’s mom usually.)
Steve! This one is somehow the best fit and I love them both for it. Steve makes a hilariously good Chip Tolentino. Athletic Boy Scout and the reigning champion of the spelling bee. He’s the most outgoing and social and least strange kid in the show but loses in the first act because and I’m not joking, he gets a boner. He sings a whole song about it actually. As he says, life is random and unfair. And he has a strong rivalry with Barfée (Jonathan) to the point they almost fight on stage and in most productions I’ve seen, is weirdly cordial with Leaf Coneybear. Again don’t think I need to explain this one, just change the girl he’s into from Leaf’s sister to Olive (Nancy) and we’re golden. Can’t go unmentioned that Chip’s actor is usually double-cast as Jesus fucking Christ.
Speaking of Leaf Coneybear! Who else but Eddie, like really? Who else but Eddie. Leaf is absolutely the one character confident enough in himself to jump up on a table and make a speech, he’s also totally the type to DM Dungeons and Dragons. Wears a cape he made himself, talks with a sock puppet sometimes, is friendly with everybody but also… is seen as a weird and stupid problem child by both his family and presumably everybody else at the Bee (Which I mean doesn’t fit his uncle but it does fit the town). He doesn’t win his hometown spelling bee and is only there because the two who placed above him had to go to a bat mitzvah. He worries he’s stupid and doesn’t belong there but finds peace in himself by the end. This delightfully mimics Eddie’s coward complex despite the fact he isn’t a coward??? And the fact he almost exists above social rules, uncaring of who anybody else is and usually judging them on character alone. Eddie and Leaf thrive in being strange. Leaf is also the sweetest character in the show you just can’t hate him. (Double cast usually as one of Logainne’s Dads).
This is probably the least good fit unfortunately, anybody who could fit Marcy Park fit in better elsewhere (Robin def would sing ‘I speak 6 languages’ and Nancy is very much the ‘best in everything but broken inside finding happiness in not winning’ girl). But Barb fits fine. She’s got that cold exterior somewhat disappointed in you never really happy with the fact she’s forced to fit in a box but does it anyway vibe. And would definitely purposefully lose and then celebrate like Christmas came early. Like it’s not perfect but it does work if you squint. (You could maybe cast Marcy as Chrissy Cunningham instead? They both do cry in bathrooms and feel trapped in their lives, happier letting go of expectations, Barb is just an easier character to characterize).
Now for the adults!
Best fit is definitely Mitch Mahoney and Jim Hopper. Like come on, this is the one where I was like… oh I’ve got something here. Gruff cop with rough exterior but a heart of gold who finds himself through comforting a lost kid and could easily be seen as a father figure? Please god that lines up so well with the ex-convict knows how rough the world is and wants the kids to know this isn’t that big a deal but finds being a comfort counselor actually fits him very well. Genuinely enjoying making sure these kids are alright and have a juice box. They’re both straight-up good people who just take a little bit longer than most to find their footing. Also Mitch being there for community service would line up with Hopper being there because Joyce dragged him into it. (Usually double cast as both Logainne’s other dad and as Olive’s pretend Dad).
Rona Lisa Perretti is the ‘could be seen as a mother figure’ counterpart to Mitch moderator of the Bee who sees herself in all of the kids and finds true joy in all of it. Joyce Byers might not line up perfectly but it’s such an easy placement okay? Like I mean, you can really tell she loves these kids, bending the rules for them even when she’s not supposed to. Also you cannot convince me Joyce isn’t the type of mom to sign up to run the school spelling bee her son goes to. (Usually double cast as Olive’s pretend Mom)
Vice Principle Douglass Panch is the only one I can’t figure out. It could be Murray, Bob, Clarke, Owens, Yuri, or even Ted (but please god no it’d fit but no) but none fit him well enough to make a call. Infatuated with Rona, had an incident as judge five years ago but claims to be in a better place now (he isn’t). Panch is a really fun character but he’s also the least mentally stable one. If I had to pick I think Murray would fit the established relationships in this crossover the most, and Yuri would fit his character the most. But again, I can’t make a good call on this one.
For the 4 audience members who fill in the ranks? Well, any ‘teen/young adult’ members of the show fit. Billy, Chrissy, Heather, Vickie, Argyle… take your pick.
— Additional stuff:
This could be easily played as a love triangle between Nancy (Olive), Jonathan (Barfée), and Steve (Chip) which works way too well for both sets of characters. It could also be played as Ronance (my personal pick lol) because Olive and Logainne I mean - if you don’t put Olive with Barfée that ship is like, right there. Olive helping Logainne through her panic attack it’s so sweet. And Olive x Her Dictionary hilariously lines up with Nancy x Her guns.
Again Chip and Leaf are weirdly friendly with each other and they’re also funfact the biggest ship on AO3 for this show which again is almost a perfect line up with Steve and Eddie. I have no words it’s just a funny coincidence. The gay ship between the weird stoner kid and the popular jock kid is universal I guess.
In other non-romantic funny coincidences:
Rona Lisa and Mitch Mahoney I’ve found usually play the good adults in the kids lives who step in and sometimes go as far as adopting some of the kids in many fanfics. Which I mean… yeah that sounds like Joyce and Hopper in the fandom as well.
Logainne has a very pronounced lisp and a tendency to overcomplicate which mimics Robins perpetual inability to stop rambling in front of pretty girls and in stressful situations.
Chip ends up forced to run the bake sale and complains about his ruined mojo, which again for some reason Chip and Steve just are perfect fits for no good reason. What a Little League champion.
Leaf and Marcy are the only two characters to lose and end up happy about it (Olive is a weird case), which is funny because Barb and Eddie are the only two characters here who die! Yay! ):
Nancy and Olive are both seen by everybody around them as the ‘sweet and lovely girl’, but are both intensely broken on the inside.
Marcy (Barb) is the character who gets to literally see Jesus, and Jesus is played by Chip (Steve). You could not have a funnier casting.
Like I mentioned above but it really needs to be highlighted, Chip and Barfée literally get as close to straight up fighting as possible. Chip at one point throws a bag of peanut M&Ms at him which if you don’t know, Barfée is allergic to, and Olive is the one who steps in. You couldn’t line it up better between these three.
The only relationship I can see that sadly doesn’t make it in here… is Robin and Steve . Chip and Logainne just don’t really talk much? I thought about shoving Robin in as Leaf for this reason and it’d work? But not nearly as well. I mean but like… this is my crossover damnit and if I want Chip and Logainne to somehow become absolute besties despite being complete opposites then I will make it happen. Chip really needs companionship and Logainne desperately needs at least one person in her life who supports her, and it’d be by far somehow the most perfect but completely alien from the outside friendship in the show. Which parallels Steve and Robin nicely (The added benefit that nobody would believe they weren’t dating if Robin wasn’t out as gay in this continuity).
————
So like, here’s the thing. I have spent way too long thinking about this, and I had to get it out there. Maybe it works as well as I’ve made it out to, maybe it doesn’t. The point is I think it’d be really funny, and as far as I know nobody has even brought it up so far. Which I get! Like I said, this is possibly the dumbest idea I’ve ever had. But it works way better than it should and I had to make other people understand my vision.
So thanks for reading all of this and please if you want to and have made it this far, give me your thoughts.

This Week In BL
May 2021 Wk 2
Being a highly subjective assessment of one tiny corner of the interwebs.
Tumblr media
Ongoing Series - Thai
Lovely Writer Ep 12 fin - that was a long arse final ep, but solid performances. I liked that we focused on the fallout amongst the side characters. (Very clever of them to depict Chap with Tae, his Y-Destiny pairing. Especially as both actors are slated for new BL roles with different partners again, The Tuxedo and You’re My Sky.) The camera certainly enjoyed wallowing in Sib & Gene’s separation, but that’s an Asian drama for you. They like to DWELL. (Frankly, I like a bit of wallowing myself.) I thought the inclusion of the “actual” writer at the very end thoroughly unnecessary. I don’t think they had to beat us over the head with the 4th wall meta quite that much. Still, this is probably one of the best BLs we’re getting from non-GMMtV Thailand this year. RECOMMENDED
Y-Destiny Ep 8 - (Thurs) I found the first half uninteresting but once Casper the Friendly Gay showed up it was fine. The ghost reminded me a bit of Fuse from MIR.
Close Friend Ep 4: (Just One Life) - is it just me or is Talay insanely charismatic? Anygay, the director got ahold of a drone for this one and would like us to KNOW ABOUT THAT FACT. Look, I just don’t think YoonLay have great chemistry but this was alright, cute enough.
Tumblr media
Fish Upon The Sky Ep 6 - This was a better installment than we’ve had in a while. I like the obsession vs love explanation from Mork, insightful if creepy. Meen & Duean are okay, I guess. A bit annoying. Everyone in this show is a bit annoying. But the wipe toothpaste then wipe eye crud got to me. Toothpaste in the eye, yech! And then I was all, oh that’s basically this show: toothpaste in the eye. It just reviewed itself. (Also why do they keep switching aspect ratio between the two pairs? It’s like they were filming with two completely different camera types... oh. ah. Weird, GMMTV usually doesn’t make mistakes like that.)
Call it What You Want Ep 6 fin - I skipped to the last ep on this, I told you I do that sometimes to find out what happened. So CIWYW ends happy for the main couple, but trigger warnings on: eating disorders, suicidal thoughts, depression, mental abuse, and a few other things. If you don’t mind your BL dark, gritty, self aware, and honest then you should be okay with this show. But if your preference is for fluff, then there are other fish in the sky. Speaking of...
Nitiman Ep 2 - Giving me My Engineer vibes. This is OLD school Thai uni BL. I kinda feel like it was meant to come out in 2018, the gap year that was, but I am SO GRATEFUL we’re getting it now. Pay TF attention FUTS this is how you redeem a tsundere uke. Also I love that Bboom is just a terrible flirt and the football match twist was great. I love this show.
Top Secret Together Ep 1 - it’s out there but no eng subs. It’s an office set romance with multiple couples all tangential to one building. A bit stilted and low production values but I’m intrigued. I hope we get subs... eventually.
Tumblr media
Ongoing Series - Not Thai
HIStory 4: Close To You (Taiwan) Ep 9 - gets the safe sex gold star for lube + condoms AND a verse discussion? Not to mention asking for sex advice from queer fam? Is this a first in BL? Might be. (I still think it’s weird that product placement hasn’t jumped on the lube bandwagon, too slippery perhaps?) I like the embezzlement drama. I always enjoy good outside conflict playing to setting, and this is the kind to be easily resolved in next week’s finale. What a roller coster this series has been.
Papa & Daddy (Taiwan) Ep 5 - I LOVE THIS SHOW. A heartbeat after i thought, “they better address what he’s doing to the girls he’s dating,” they did it. Clever scripting that. The messaging is gorgeous, the idea that pride and media coverage and knowing about a changing world can broaden minds and lead to acceptance was basically Taiwan making a case for itself paving the way for marriage equality in Asia. Genius.
Most Peaceful Place 2 (Vietnam) Ep 1 (AKA 4) - dropped with subs and improved production values, someone is learning (or got more dough). The younger brother’s drama is a bit confusing, but I am here for cute boyfriends being cute boyfriends together. And I love that they took the seme’s previous pair (from Nation’s Brother) to be the faen fatale, very crafty of them. Even though it’s not a trope I like, there’s great chemistry all around.
My Lascivious Boss (Vietnam) Ep 6 - I weirdly love this show, okay? I’m just hoping Long has known Minh’s secret all along and is playing a reverse long con cat & mouse game, waiting for Minh to tell him the truth. Because that would be THE BEST. I could do without the faen fatale but ya can’t have everything. (I’m so glad it’s not the standard 6 ep arc, MOAR!!!)
Tumblr media
Gossip
Rumor is GMMTV Thailand started shooting Baker Boys (here’s the teaser trailer). This is a remake of Antique (AKA Antique Bakery) a 2008 Korean movie (you can watch it on Viki) which is a remake of Antique (a 2001 Japanese series) with is an adaptation of wildly popular manga Antique Bakery. Knowing the plot I’m not sure this will qualify as BL. I’m still predicting Lee gets his first gay kiss in this series from Singto. More details about this series here.
Tumblr media
Breaking News
Love Area release pushed out, reportedly due to C19. (source DramaCool)
Be Love In House: I Do (Taiwan, of course, with that title) got a new softer trailer (no subs). It drops next week, May 19, 2021 on Viki. All the information I have is here.
Tumblr media
Tangential to BL
Two BL-adjacent shows, both from Taiwan.
I’m watching Love is Science? on Viki which has a het foundation, but it’s a good one. There’s a BL side couple who are on an enemies to lovers slow burn trajectory; featuring a disaster bi slut meets elegant bad ass super gay. So there’s THAT. The mains are an older career woman and the sweet boy from her distant past who has pined for her for years. (He is the softest sweetest service sub you ever saw.) Props to Taiwan for a seriously underused het dynamic. As usual in Asian rom coms the straight boy love interest is a Perfect Cinnamon Role (yes I’m looking at you True Beauty & Love O2O) but I find Taiwan’s version more palatable than Korea’s or Mainland China’s. It’s not finished yet but... RECOMMENDED.
Starting this week is Love Outlet a 50 (?!) episode show about a mall that sells relationships. It is supposed to have a main gay romance, but it might be a side dish. Very little else known about it. Coming to Line TV.
Honestly, I’m at the point where if Taiwan makes it, I’ll probably watch it.
Tumblr media
Next Week Looks Like This:
Some shows may be listed later than actual air date for International accessibility reasons.
Tumblr media
Starting:
Be Loved In House: I Do (Taiwan)
Golden Blood (Thailand) we think, like Love Area this may be delayed due to surging C19 cases
Love Outlet (Taiwan) we think
Upcoming 2021 BL master post here.
Links to watch are provided when possible, ask in a comment if I missed something.

Morgan’s Dad
Tumblr media
Hi, I’m back with a new Starker OS. Thank you Starker Asylum for all of your smutty ideas <3 Warnings: Anal Sex and a bit of feminization. Peter is 18 in this!!!
~*~
Peter had a crush on Morgan’s dad since he could remember. Back then, when he had met the girl in preschool, Peter had looked up to her dad because the man drove a cool car and wore fancy suits. As he grew older, Peter’s crush grew as well. He started to admire the man, his ability to care for Morgan as a single dad, and his impressive career as an engineer. One day, Peter wanted to become an engineer as well.
When Peter turned seventeen, however, his crush started to change. Suddenly, it wasn’t only the brilliance of Morgan’s dad that he looked up to. Suddenly, Peter noticed how perfect the man looked, his strong body, the playful smirk on his lips.
Peter had just turned eighteen when Morgan invited him to a movie night with her dad. It was the first time Peter saw her dad dressed in casual clothes. A worn-out shirt and thin sweatpants that did nothing to hide how much the man was packing. That’s when the fantasies began.
Once everything started, Peter couldn’t stop it anymore. Every night he spent at Morgan’s Peter wished that he could crawl in her dad’s bed. He fantasized about what it would feel like to be held down and fucked by the man until he couldn’t walk straight anymore.
Peter didn’t tell anyone about his crush on Tony Stark. The man was more than twenty years older than him, successful and rich. There was no way he was interested in someone like Peter. For a while, Peter was content keeping his feelings to himself. He watched the man from afar and spent his nights thinking about Tony while he stroked his cock and fingered himself. That was until one day Morgan found out.
It was already late. They were lying in Morgan’s bed, a respectable distance between them. She had never been uncomfortable being too close to Peter, knowing he wasn’t into girls anyway. Even though both of them were tired, they were still talking way past midnight.
After a few minutes of comfortable silence, Morgan suddenly spoke up. “I know you’re into him.”
 “Huh?”
“My dad. I know you want him to fuck you.”
Peter blushed and he was glad it was too dark for Morgan to see.
 “Not true.”
She chuckled and Peter could see through the darkness that she was raising her brows. “That’s why you’re staring at his crotch every time he enters the room?”
Peter’s blush intensified and he was sure not even the dark was protecting him from Morgan finding out anymore. He had never been a good liar, especially if it came to his crush on Tony Stark.”
“And what if I am? Into him I mean,” Peter asked warily.
Morgan didn’t answer immediately, choosing her words carefully. “I wouldn’t mind. No, that’s not true. I do mind. I would support you. Peter, I know my dad wants you, he’s looking as much at your ass as you’re looking at his crotch.”
“He does?” Peter had never noticed before and the thought sent a tingle down his spine.
“God, Peter. Sometimes you’re really delusional. Yes, he does. I know I should be fighting it, hell, he’s twice your age, but the truth is, I don’t care. Dad hasn’t done anything for himself since mom left us. I just want the two favorite men in my life to be happy.”
Peter couldn’t stop himself from cooing and hugging his best friend close. She was a real friend and he was glad she was supporting his crush. They talked until the sun was already rising, making plans and discussing their feelings. When they finally fell asleep, Peter had a smile on his face.
The late-night talk with Morgan changed everything. Suddenly, Peter noticed that Tony was staring at his ass. The man was lowering his gaze almost immediately, shame written on his face, but Peter knew something had been there. Tony wouldn’t act on his feelings if Peter didn’t take the first step.
In the end, it was Morgan who had the idea. She called her plan ‘seduce Tony Stark’ and Peter blushed as she introduced him to the first steps of her great idea.
“Just promise me you won’t fuck him anywhere in the house despite his bedroom. And don’t make out in front of me.”
Peter grinned at her. “I promise. I don’t want to fuck him anyway. I want him to fuck me.”
Morgan groaned while Peter started to laugh.
The day Morgan and Peter had picked for their plan to start was a Friday. Usually, Morgan and Tony would have a father-daughter movie night, but it wouldn’t be the first time for Peter to join.
An hour before Tony would come home, Morgan pulled Peter to her room and they started to get him ready. A tiny bit of lipgloss, a too-short skirt, and a pair of panties Peter had bought in the mall a few days ago. Morgan had told him how much her dad liked men in lingerie. She had accidentally found his porn history when she was younger, and even though the videos had traumatized her younger self, now she was actually glad he had forgotten to delete it.
When Tony came home from work, Peter was still waiting in Morgan’s room while father and daughter were setting up the living room for a comfortable evening. Pretending to do homework, Peter buried himself in his favorite engineering textbook until Morgan came to tell him they were ready.
“Don’t do anything before I leave the room,” she threatened and Peter answered with a laugh. Then he followed her into the living room.
Tony looked perfect sitting on the couch. He wore the thin sweatpants again that didn’t hide the bulk between his legs and emphasized his thick tights. To make it worse, his t-shirt was a size too small, showing off his strong arms, and his hair was disheveled from a long day at work. Peter wanted to crawl onto his lap immediately.
Instead, he pulled himself together and sat down on the couch next to Tony, close but not too close to be suspicious.
 “Hello, Mr. Stark.”
Tony’s eyes darkened when his eyes fell on Peter’s outfit and his hands twitched with the need to reach out for Peter. The man’s hungry eyes made Peter squirm and he could feel his cock hardening in the thin fabric of his panties. It was going to be a long night.
When Morgan sat down, she made sure to take up a lot of space so that Peter was pressed closer against Tony’s body. Peter could feel the heat from the man through his clothes and a small whimper left his lips. Tony had definitely heard him because his gaze darkened further. Before anything could escalate, Morgan started the movie.
The evening was torture. After a while, Peter had shifted and pulled his legs under his body. He was leaning slightly towards Morgan such that his ass was pushed against Tony’s body. Every time the man moved, Peter could feel pressure against his cheeks, and the skirt rode up further and further until he was barely covered.
He started to sweat. His dick hardened and he wanted nothing more than to jump the man next to him. Sitting so close to his crush was driving Peter crazy with arousal. He needed to be fucked today, he would do anything necessary to sit on Tony’s cock.
After half an hour Morgan excused herself. She faked a phone call and disappeared into her room, only to wink at Peter before she left. Thankfully, Tony was too distracted to notice.
As soon as the door closed behind her, Peter couldn’t hold back anymore. He had waited so long, had imagined so often how it would feel to ride the man’s cock. Before Tony could even react, Peter crawled onto the man’s lap and pressed his entire body against Tony’s. Immediately, a thick bulge was pressed against his ass. Delicious.
“Peter what are you doing?” Tony’s voice was wavering, so uncommon for the usual cocky man while Peter’s hands pulled up the man’s shirt.
“What does it look like? Seducing you of course.”
 “But what about Morgan?”
Peter paused, his hands stopping midway on their mission to get rid of Tony’s shirt, and his brows twitched in confusion.
 “What’s up with Morgan?”
“Aren’t you two, you know…” Tony didn’t finish his sentence and it took a while for Peter to catch up. As soon as he understood, Peter laughed loudly.
“I’m gay, Mr. Stark. Morgan is my best friend. Besides…” He leaned closer until his lips were almost grazing Tony’s ear. “She told me to fuck you until you’re smiling again.”
Peter had expected Tony to be angry with him because he had talked to Morgan about his crush, he expected him to laugh or tell Peter he’s just a child, but apparently, Tony was too far gone to care about anything else but the half-naked man on his lap. He ripped Peter’s clothes from his body until he was wearing nothing but the new pair of panties.
“You’re such a tease,” Tony growled, his hands wandering across Peter’s body until they finally found their place on Peter’s ass. “Showing off your cute little ass whenever I enter the room. Tell me what you want from me, Peter. Tell me what I should do to you.”
Peter moaned, Tony’s deep voice sent shivers down his spine and he arched his back to be closer to the man. Big calloused hands stroked his ass, pulling his cheeks apart and slipping between. He would die if Tony didn’t fuck him right now.
“Need you, Daddy. Need your cock. ‘M feeling so empty.”
Tony didn’t need to be told twice. He stood up with Peter still clinging to him, one hand under Peter’s ass and the other one buried in his hair. Without even breaking a sweat, Tony carried them to his bedroom while Peter rubbed against him like a bitch in heat. The man’s strength would break him one day.
Finally lying on Tony’s bed, Peter watched the man as he fumbled for a bottle of lube in his bedside drawer before crawling back between Peter’s legs.
“Open up for me, baby,” Tony coaxed, his hands pushing Peter’s thighs apart. “Show me your sweet little pussy.”
With a whimper, Peter arched his back, pressing his ass closer to Tony until he finally felt a thick finger tapping against his hole. Tony didn’t even get the chance to move before Peter pressed his hips against the man’s hand, taking the finger in one stroke. He was used to much thicker things like the dildos he bounced on while he imagined being fucked by Tony. One finger had never been enough and it only made his pathetic whimpering worse.
“You can’t get enough, can you?” Tony asked while he pressed a second finger inside. “I’ve never seen someone greedier than you. Even a whore doesn’t need it as badly.”
Peter was too far gone to even try to hold back. He only spread his legs wider, begging for the man’s cock. He wanted so badly to clench around something thick, wanted so badly to bounce on Tony’s length until he was coming untouched.
When Tony didn’t make an attempt to fuck him anytime soon, Peter stepped up his game. “Fuck me, Daddy. Show me that you belong to me.”
Just as he had thought, Tony was losing his control immediately. He turned Peter around until he was presenting, his ass raised high while his chest was pressed onto the mattress. With a single thrust, Tony buried himself in Peter’s hole.
The sensation was maddening. Peter had never been fucked by a cock as huge as Tony’s and he whimpered and cried as Tony started to move in earnest. It was almost embarrassing how fast he was racing towards his orgasm.
Tony didn’t take it slow. He was hammering into Peter until the boy saw stars and his thighs started to tremble. Every thrust brought Peter closer and closer to the orgasm and it took a single stroke against his prostate for Peter’s world to explode in a thousand colors.
His hole clenched around Tony’s cock while his cook was shooting his load onto the mattress. There was nothing more that he needed except to be filled and marked as Tony’s.
“Come inside me, daddy. Fill me up and make me drip your seed for days.”
Peter wasn’t sure if his words or the desperate clenching of his hole sent Tony over the edge, but as soon as the last spurt of come had left Peter’s cock, Tony filled him up. Being marked and owned felt like he was in heaven and Peter relaxed into the mattress while Tony rode out his orgasm.
“You’ll be the death of me,” Tony cursed when he finally came down. “One look at your tight little ass and I’m done.”
Peter smiled and turned around so he could pull Tony into his arms. “I don’t mind, daddy,” he chuckled, a satisfied smile on his face. “As long as you fill me up afterward you can fuck me whenever you want.”
Tony groaned, but he let himself be pulled into Peter’s arms. Peter immediately knew this wouldn’t be the last time they were going to fuck. This man would be completly his in less than a week.

what are ur thoughts on edmund pevensie
aah I'm so glad someone asked!! thank uuu <3
My thoughts on Edmund Pevensie? Mr. redemption arc boy? My sassy bean? Sulky little shit boy? Oh my god where do I start.
(putting under the cut because this gets unnecessarily long and my mutuals are tired of me)
Edmund Pevensie is a horrible little gremlin who turns into a delightful little gremlin over the course of one book/movie and ends up being one of the best characters in the series. I don't know whether to rant about book!Edmund or Movie!Edmund, but I supposed I could do both?
So pre-redemption, Edmund is a generally awful person. I really like that. Whenever we get a redemption arc in modern media, it's usually 70% defending why Character A is actually a sad emo child who was neglected and actually you know what? It's everyone else's fault that this person does shitty things (i.e. k*lo ren, vanya hargreeves, mcu wanda, etc).
Edmund is a truly hateful person and canon DOES NOT APOLOGIZE OR VALIDATE IT. Even in the movies (where they make him more sympathetic by drawing attention to the fact that Edmund is a child being manipulated by an abuser) they recognize the fact that he was a nasty person before the White Witch ever came into play.
I LOVE that. I love a redemption arc. And the only way a redemption arc really, truly works is when the character being redeemed is a Bad Person. It makes it so, so much more satisfying when the character finally comes to their senses and Does The Thing that starts/completes their arc.
AND EDMUND'S IS TOP TIER. In the books, it's a bit less explicit, but by the time he finally reaches Aslan's camp and talks to Aslan, he's pretty much made a full 180. He is immediately forgiven by his siblings and the Narnians and when the White Witch turns up, he is unafraid. He has full confidence that Aslan knows what he's doing. In the Battle of Beruna, he's the only person smart enough to realize that going after the White Witch's wand is the best tactical move. There is no clear "heroes redeemed journey" (as i'm calling it). Edmund realizes that he was wrong, accepts Aslan, and helps defeat the White Witch.
The movie makes Edmund work a bit more. He's forgiven by his sisters', but not quite by his brother. It's vague whether or not the rest of Narnia has forgiven him. When the White Witch arrives, he shows visible fear. It's only after he breaks the White Witch's wand and dies/nearly dies doing so, that he's allowed to be fully redeemed and forgiven by his brother.
I have conflicting feelings about how both of these narratives are different and the indicators thereof of said differences, but that's a whole other meta post I don't have room for. What I can definitely say I do love about Movie!Edmund's redemption arc is how they conclude it. In the book, you don't actually see the moment where Edmund breaks the White Witch's wand and it's more inferred than directly stated that she's the one who wounded him. He also doesn't come as close to actual death in the books.
In the movie everything is absolutely fucking perfect. They start out the battle with Edmund looking unsure of anything except Peter and they end it with Edmund dying (?) in front of him. The moment where Edmund decides to defy Peter one last time and break the wand? 14 year old me was losing her SHIT. They literally could not have concluded his arc better. 10/10 Disney.
Prince Caspian--books and films--gives us a clearer picture of who Edmund is after his redemption arc. He's still kind of snarky, but 100% a ride or die for his siblings. He believes Lucy when she says she sees Aslan, supports Peter and Caspian in their quest to get Caspian on the throne, and is the most level-headed character in the book. He is also incredibly sulky in the books and 1000% done with Trumpkin's shit. It's delightful. They translate this in movieverse for him being 1000% done with Peter's shit which is even better. He does not really have an arc or plotline, but as a supportive character he's a 10/10.
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader has my favorite Edmund. This is an Edmund without his older siblings. This is an Edmund who gets to bond with Lucy, Caspian, and Eustace and have wacky sea adventures. The Lucy/Edmund dynamic is STRONG and I am living for it. Both of them banding together to hate Eustace for half the book? 11/10. Both of them banding together to love Eustace for the other half of the book? 14/10.
Also, this is the book where we find out Edmund reads detective novels. Which is adorable and so in character for him.
Oh my god let's talk about Eustace and Edmund. After Eustace tells Edmund about what happened with him and Aslan and apologizes for being a dick? Edmund is immediately there to reassure him that all is forgiven, and actually? Edmund was a worse person his first visit to Narnia. (Pls get some self esteem Edmund.) Let's talk about Eustace and Edmund being protective over Lucy (who doesn't really appreciate it, but it's adorable just the same).
Movie!Edmund in this story is also a snarky delight, but the main thing that jumps out to me is HE AND CASPIAN ARE SO GAY FOR EACH OTHER HOLY SHIT. LIKE THEY TRIED TO PUSH LUCY/CASPIAN FOR A HOT SECOND AND THEN GAVE UP BECAUSE CASSMUND IS LIVING THEIR BEST GAY PIRATE LIFE.
Oh we should probably talk about Edmund in the Horse and His Boy. Yeah, this one is a real delight because we actually get to see grown up Edmund. There are so really awesome moments here, especially with him and Susan. My favorite is where he basically tells her, "yeah if you married that dick prince I would have totally hated you for it. thanks for making a good choice on that." Lmao. It's really interesting to see him more measured and mature in this book.
So anyway, to cut this rambling reply short. Edmund Pevensie has been my favorite character since I was 11 and first read the Narnia books and he continues to be in each adaption of the series. Can't wait for the Netflix adaption.
(ask me about book vs. movie meta, cassmund analysis, the problem of susan, or anything else narnia related for more ramblings <3)

To Be So Lonely
Pairing: Bakugou Katsuki x Midoriya Izuku
Warnings: Strong language, sexually explicit smut, violence, alpha/beta/omega dynamics, cancer sub-plot, major character death {not bakudeku}
Word Count for Chapter: 2,791
Summary: Midoriya Izuku has always wanted to be a musician. Something about the lyric working with a melody to convey his feeling just made his heart race. After his father died when he was three, Izuku has always relied on his mother. She worked two jobs to care for him and always supported his dreams. But when his mother is diagnosed with breast cancer just after he graduated high school, Izuku has to shift his focus. Now he’s working two jobs and takes care of his mother with the help of his gay neighbors.
In an attempt to learn self-defense, Izuku takes a few classes at a local gym. It’s there that he meets Toshinori Yagi, an older beta who used to be a professional heavyweight boxer. Yagi notices Izuku’s potential and encourages the small omega to eventually go pro. So, in order to make more money, Izuku eventually agrees.
Bakugou Katsuki has only ever wanted to fight. Orphaned as the young age of four, Katsuki has been fighting to live for his entire life. Fighting is all he’s ever known. After fighting underground for a couple years, Katsuki is noticed by Todoroki Enji. The older alpha takes him in at 19 and names him the official successor of his legacy (especially since all of his actual kids hate him).
Now, Katsuki is 25-years-old and the professional heavyweight champion. In a whirlwind of events, Katsuki meets Izuku in the unlikeliest of places. He watches the small omega perform and can’t help it feel extremely protective and absolutely enamored with him. The older alpha gets to meet him and say goodbye without even learning the omega’s name. Katsuki isn’t sure that they’ll ever meet again.
That is, until Katsuki officially meets Izuku at a professional lunch with his manager’s rival.
{OR}
The one where Katsuki is a professional alpha boxer with arrogance issues and Izuku is a stubborn omega that’s way little too reckless with his well-being. With a wacky cast of characters (including three idiots, a manly best friend, a traumatized bastard with daddy-issues, and many more) absolutely hell-bent on getting them together, neither men can seem to catch a break

{0.1} Sweet Like Honey
“There are wounds that never show on the body that are deeper and more hurtful than anything that bleeds.”
― Laurell K. Hamilton
K A T S U K I
“C’mon, Bakubro! Smile a little!”
Katsuki scowled even more as Kirishima dragged him towards the run-down bar. On some level, he wants to be here and have fun with his friends. On another, however, he knows that he’ll have to deal with a hangover tomorrow.
And fuck that.
The shitty bar smells vaguely of coffee and beer, as well as a mix of pheromones. It has a decent amount of people inside, but not enough to feel overwhelming.
“How did Pikachu find this shitty place?”
Kirishima gave him a look, as if he was a scolding parent. “His boyfriend actually did. It has live music and decent alcohol.”
Katsuki huffed, pulling his hood over his hair. “Who the fuck would want to court Pikachu? He’s annoyingly dumb.”
“Well, not everyone thinks that.”
Before Katsuki can argue, sweet-smelling arms wrapped around his neck.
“Blasty!! You made it!” Mina screeched, already smelling of red wine.
Katsuki growled, immediately pushing the omega off of him and towards her alpha. Kirishima caught her easily. “Don’t touch me, Raccoon Eyes! Ever hear of personal space?!”
Mina giggled, whispering loudly into Kirishima’s ear. “He’s so grumpy already.”
“I know. It’s pretty funny.”
Katsuki bristled, baring his teeth. “Fuck off, Shitty Hair!”
Kirishima chuckled, ignoring Katsuki directing them further inside. Closer to the bar was Kaminari and a purple-haired beta who obviously didn’t get enough sleep the night before.
The audacity.
Kaminari glanced their way, his face lighting up. “Bakugou! It’s nice to see that Kirishima-“
“Shut it, Dunce Face.” Katsuki grumbled lowly. “I’m just here to babysit you idiots.”
Denki shrugged, taking a shot of something that smelled suspiciously like Fireball. “Whatever you say, Bakugou. Hitoshi is already our babysitter for the night.”
The purple-haired beta blinked in Katsuki’s direction, taking a sip of his water bottle. He looked like he was silently analyzing and judging Katsuki, which immediately made the older alpha bristle.
“Calm down, Blasty.” Mina snickered, leaning against Kirishima. “You scowl too much.”
Katsuki scowled even more, watching as everyone ordered drinks.
Kirishima glanced at him, offering a sympathetic smile. “Just chill, Bakubro. Shinsou says the live music is really good!”
That’s unlikely.
“I know the performer.” Shinsou murmured, still studying Katsuki. “He’s a childhood friend.”
Katsuki ignored the insomniac troll doll and took a seat next to Kirishima. “This better be good, Shitty Hair. You know how I feel about music.”
Kirishima nodded, accepting his drink from the bartender. “Well, Jiro also speaks highly of the dude. She’s as serious about music as you are, so I’m sure he’s pretty great.”
That’s a little reassuring.
Before Katsuki could speak again, a small voice came from the stage.
And god, Katsuki’s interest immediately heightened.
A small man climbed onto a stool with a guitar in his hands. He had dazzling green eyes and a head of green curls that made him look soft. He was wearing a grey hoodie with ripped skinny jeans, making him look even cuter.
And the freckles.
Katsuki took a deep breath, immediately freezing as omegan pheromones washed over the small bar.
Chocolate and cherries.
He’s so screwed.
“Our first request of the night is called ‘Save Yourself’.” The omega murmured, his voice sweet as honey.
The small omega started strumming a dingy guitar, making it look effortless. But Katsuki knew better than to assume.
It weighs heavier on one's heart
I could tell right from the start that sweet ones are hard to come across
Well there is more than meets the eye
A heart like yours is rare to find
Someone else's gain will be my loss
“Holy shit…”
For once, Katsuki could agree with Pikachu.
Shinsou chuckled lowly, earning glances from everyone else. “I’m glad that you think he’s good. I’ve tried telling him that, but he never wants to hear it.”
“He’s adorable!” Mina squealed, almost a little too loudly.
Katsuki gave her glare, which didn’t go unnoticed by Kirishima. In fact, the red-haired alpha grinned and followed Katsuki’s gaze.
Woah, woah, oh oh
Oh woah, woah
Woah woah oh
Hey hey
Well little things that make you smile
Dancing barefoot in the dark
If only I had strength to change your mind
Oh for what you need
You will not see
Choose your words before you speak
Can you see that all you've got is time?
Katsuki couldn’t fucking breathe.
The small omega sounded soft and sure, obviously confident and lost in the song. A stray curl rested on his forehead, moving as he strummed the guitar.
Whatever it was about him, Katsuki couldn’t look away.
Woah now
Save yourself
Oh you save yourself
Oh darling save yourself for someone else
Yeah, save yourself
Oh darling save yourself
Oh won't you save yourself from someone else
Woah
Don't give in to their feelings
Don't give in darkness and faith
You should be safe, yeah, with someone else
Tell your secrets to the night
You do yours and I do mine
So we won't have to keep them all inside
Oh, for one so pure
Count these off
Let your feelings take control
Hold on to the world that he's begging for
“What’s his name?”
Shinsou looked at Kirishima, almost as if he was bored. “He’s not comfortable with me telling people. He’s a very private person.”
Mina pouted, whining slightly. “But he’s so good! Wouldn’t he want people to know his name?”
“He’s going through a lot right now.”
Katsuki glanced at Shinsou, immediately meeting the beta’s gaze. “For once, I agree with Raccoon Eyes. Private or not, he’s obviously good enough to go somewhere with a voice like that.”
The beta raised an eyebrow. “I wasn’t aware that you complimented people, Bakugou. Not everyone is a cocky boxer with arrogance issues.”
Ex-fucking-cuse me?
“At least I know how to fight, you knock-off troll doll!”
Shinsou blinked, obviously unaffected by Katsuki’s words. “Just because you’re a professional boxer doesn’t mean shit, Bakugou. If I remember correctly, you were underground once.”
Katsuki glared, scowling harshly. “Underground?”
“He’s an underground boxer, Bakubro,” Kirishima murmured, looking amused with the whole interaction. “He’s pretty good.”
Whatever.
Katsuki focused on the musician again, obviously pouting.
Woah now
Save yourself
Oh won't you save yourself
Go on and save yourself for someone else
Yes darling save yourself
Oh won't you save yourself
Go on and save yourself for someone else
Woah are you going to break?
Are you going to break?
Woah aren't you going to take me?
Yeah are you going to break?
Are you going to break?
Are you going to break?
Woah what's it going to take?
Yeah, are you going to break?
Are you going to break?
Are you going to break?
Are you going to break?
The small omega strummed the last few notes, his voice cracking slightly as the last lyrics finished. He shyly smiled at the crowd, using his bandaged hand to brush his curls out of his face.
Wait.
Bandages?
Katsuki watched with narrowed eyes as the small omega talked with the crowd, obviously trying to take more requests. Something about him was off and it made the alpha slightly suspicious.
Why does he look like that?
I Z U K U
“-and thank you for coming out! Goodnight!”
Izuku waved at the crowd as he exited the stage, his heart in his throat at the small amount of applause. His guitar felt heavy in his small hands, matching his equally heavy shoulders.
Music doesn’t have the same relief it used to.
The small omega chewed on his bottom lip anxiously as he placed his ratty guitar in it’s case. Izuku had saved up two summers worth of money to buy it, so he definitely felt more attached to it than most.
“Here’s your tips, Midoriya.”
Izuku snapped out of his daze as the female omega handed him the money, his pretty green eyes looking a bit grey. “Thanks, Jiro. I really appreciate this.”
Jiro smiled warmly, her dark eyes completely gentle as she watched him place the cash in his case. “It’s no problem, Midoriya. Tell your mom and the dads that I said hi!”
“I will!”
Izuku waved goodbye and made his way towards the exit. Hitoshi normally waited backstage to take him home, but he’s currently on a date with someone. It wasn’t like Izuku was afraid, but walking alone at night did give him some anxiety.
After all, Izuku is an omega.
In their current society, it was extremely easy for omegas to be victimized. They were completely at the mercy of outside forces, which caused a lot of weaknesses. Dominant pheromones from an alpha could completely shut them down and make them vulnerable to orders.
Alphas didn’t lack in strength like many omegas did, so they could easily overpower anyone slightly weaker than them.
While alphas experienced ruts or periods of extreme arousal, that was nothing on omegas. Omegas experience heats every month, which was a mess of fevers and the need to be knotted.
Ruts could easily be controlled and ignored.
Heats were the opposite.
If an omega was to go into heat while in public, that left them at the mercy of any alpha nearby. An alpha could take what they want, regardless of consent, and not be held liable.
So, yes.
Walking alone made Izuku slightly nervous.
As Izuku walked down the dimly-lit street, he was aware of the different smells. He could smell cigarettes and cheap perfume, all containing a mix of omega pheromones. It was slightly fruity and stale, making his stomach churn.
Don’t focus on -
“Well, well, well. What do we have here?”
Fucking fuck.
Izuku’s blood ran cold as someone yanked him backward, grabbing at the soft skin of his cheeks. “I’m just walking home. I-I have people waiting on me, so-“
Bright blue eyes locked with his.
Dabi.
Shit.
“I almost don’t recognize you without the mask, bunny.”
Izuku’s soft green eyes immediately hardened as he shoved the drunk alpha off of him. “Don’t touch me, Dabi. We both know that I can kick your ass in or out of the ring.”
Dabi growled, grabbing Izuku by the hoodie again. “It’s a shame you got such a smart mouth, bunny. I might’ve considered marking you.”
So fucking gross…
“Get fucked, Dabi.” Izuku snapped, pushing him back again.
The blue-eyed alpha huffed, causing the intense smell of alcohol to waft over the omega. “Why are you being such a frigid bitch, bunny? Sounds like someone needs a nice kn-“
Izuku pulled his arm back and punched the alpha square in the jaw.
Dabi released him and shot back, muffling a bunch of curses as he rubbed his jaw. Judging from his pheromones, he was obviously pissed off.
But then again, so was Izuku.
“You little bitch.” Dabi growled, standing at his full height.
Izuku scoffed, widening his stance and shifting into an all too familiar position. In the street light, the bandages on the omega’s fingers were much more visible than before.
The small omega clenched his jaw. “I’d stop it with the insults, Dabi. I’d hate to kick your ass again.”
Dabi lunged, but Izuku quickly ducked.
In a quick move, the small omega landed a harsh kick to the alpha’s stomach. It was a cheap move, but Izuku didn’t care.
He’s always hated pigs, anyway.
Before the small omega could move, though, Dabi growled and grabbed him by the hair. He yanked Izuku upright and shoved him towards the wall of the alley.
Shit.
Dabi chuckled lowly, placing his knee between Izuku’s legs and wrapping his hands around his throat. “You look pretty with my hands around your throat. Maybe I should-“
“What the fuck are you doing?”
The scarred alpha froze, his blue eyes flickering to the entrance. After a few seconds, Dabi immediately scowled. “Mind your business, golden boy.”
Golden boy?
Izuku struggled under Dabi’s grip, feeling slightly light-headed as the seconds continued to pass. “Le-let me-“
“Fuck off, staple-face.”
And just like that, the pressure on Izuku’s throat was gone.
Izuku coughed and gasped as his world adjusted, his green eyes landing on the mess of fighting alpha’s in front of him. The smell of cigarette ash was now accompanied by caramel and cinnamon, which shouldn’t have made his heart race.
Alphas.
Izuku inwardly scoffed, rubbing his throat as he slowly made his way towards the exit. The sooner he got home, the better.
He really doesn’t want to be yelled at by Aizawa.
“I’m sure your dad would hate to watch me kick your ass, stitches. He probably wants to do it himself!”
Izuku snickered softly, glancing back to look at the fighting match.
Dabi was completely unconscious on the ground, nearly overshadowed by the mysterious alpha. This same alpha was dressed in a black hoodie and baseball cap, which hid his face pretty well.
The small omega made a mental note to remember this when he fights Dabi next week. These nicknames were top-notch.
The alpha fixed his jacket, spinning to face Izuku.
Shit. Shit. Abort.
Izuku squeaked and turned to bolt. At this point, plenty of people were exiting the club. Plenty of people would probably help him if he screamed.
“Not so fast, freckles.”
The small omega was pulled back yet again.
Izuku spun around, his green eyes sharp as he bared his teeth in an obvious snarl. “Don’t touch me! I’m not sucking your dick just because you felt the need to play hero.”
Red eyes locked with his.
And for a second, that split second, Izuku felt like the world stood still. Instead of some ugly alpha with questionable intentions, this alpha simply looked annoyed and frustrated.
Not the usual type to defend Izuku in an alleyway.
“What the fuck are you doing out so late by yourself?”
Izuku blinked, pulling himself out of his daze as sweet caramel greeted his nose. “Does it matter?”
The alpha’s eyes twitched. “I think it does. Any omega with a bit of common sense would know not to be by themselves at this time of night.”
“I’m not most omegas.”
Izuku’s words caused the tiniest smirk to dawn on the alpha’s face.
This mysterious alpha was much taller than Izuku and definitely stronger. The hood of his jacket covered ash-blond hair, but no amount of darkness could hide those eyes. And even more so, it was obvious that he had a resting bitch face.
“Hah?! A resting what?”
Ah, fuck.
Izuku blushed bright red, chewing on his bottom lip in an attempt to keep his mouth shut. “I-ignore that. I tend to mumble a lot.”
The alpha narrowed his eyes. “I can see that, freckles. But what the fuck were you doing out here by yourself?”
I’m not helpless…
“I can handle myself. I don’t need your help.”
The alpha scoffed loudly, his scowl becoming more prominent on his face. “Don’t be fucking reckless. If I wasn’t here, Stitches would’ve done worse than choke you.”
Izuku rolled his eyes. “I had it handled.”
“Stop lying to yourself, freckles.”
The small omega clenched his jaw and pulled himself free of the alpha’s grip. His skin felt hot with fury and annoyance, especially since this alpha seemed so arrogant.
Izuku walked out of the alley, adjusting the strap of his guitar case and glancing around. The sidewalk was still full of people, so he was probably safe to finish walking home.
Before he could do so, however, a warm hand grasped his arm.
“Hold on, freckles. Let me walk you home.”
Izuku froze, glaring suspiciously at the alpha next to him. “I’m not helpless, you know. I don’t need a big, strong alpha to walk me home.”
Thank god for sarcasm.
The alpha shrugged, releasing Izuku’s arm and waited to follow him. “I’d feel much better knowing that you got home okay. I don’t want to see your fucking face on the news, freckles.”
Freckles? That’s the best you got?
“Fine.”
The small omega looked away from the alpha and started walking home, his heart fluttering in his chest as the smell of caramel enveloped him. Izuku’s never been good with attractive people, though.
Especially alphas with red eyes, which is his favorite color.
“What’s your name, nerd?”
Izuku blinkled, adjusting his hoodie. “I have enough survival instincts not to tell you. Stick to the shitty nicknames.”
The alpha huffed. “They’re not shitty!”
“I’m not convinced.”
Blondie {which Izuku decided to call him} growled in obvious annoyance, easily keeping up with the short omega. “Don’t you want to know my name? I’m sure you’re curious, shitty nerd.”
Izuku shrugged, glancing both ways before crossing a dimly-lit street. “Not really. It’s not like I’ll ever see you again.”
“How can you be so sure of that?”
“Because it’s obvious that you’ve never been here before.”
Blondie gave him a sideways glance, his red eyes glinting in the street light. “I’m that obvious? What gave it away, freckles?”
Izuku chewed on his bottom lip, slowing down as his apartment complex came into view. “If you were, then you would’ve known that I can handle Dabi. This won’t be the last time he tries to kick my ass.”
Silence.
Hehe.
“So he does that often?”
Izuku stopped in front of his complex, turning to glance at the red-eyed alpha. “More than you’d think.”
The alpha nodded, looking up at the apartment complex. “Well, I’m glad that you let me walk you home. Should I follow you inside?”
“I’m not too comfortable with that, Blondie.’
Blondie froze, shooting Izuku a scowl. “Don’t call me that, shitty nerd.”
Izuku snickered, punching a code into the door and opening it. “Thanks for the entertainment, Blondie. I’m sure that you’ll get better with the nicknames.”
He went inside, leaving alpha outside.
Thank god that’s over.

words: 1490
summary: Virgil doesn't want to deal with this mess but he was sent to deliver a message so, theres not much he can do
pairings: eventual prinxiety, eventual intrulogical, eventual moceit, Remile
warnings: some potty language (not much), stress, anxiety, pretentious character, violence (near the end), talking down to someone
(let me know if there's any other)
Virgil didn't want to deal with this weird shit so early but, he didn't really have a choice. He made eye contact with who he could only assume was the prince, who was not panicked in the slightest and just shrugged. When Virgil got a good look as to who this servant lady had pinned to the ground he almost laughed out loud, it was none other than the stuck-up, self-centered, overall piece of shit Trent. Now he was actually glad to be delivering this stupid message.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Virgil was awoken in the early hours of the morning (incredibly rude but that's besides the point). “Get dressed and meet me at the workstation in 20 minutes.” When Virgil's brain finally decided to be awake enough to process words, his blood ran cold as he realized who was speaking to him. Commander Arlott. Virgil knew better than to question his superior so he did as instructed.
The Commander wasted no time to speak as Virgil arrived,“Virgil, I need you to deliver this message to Sir Trent Ortiz” Arlott held a letter with the royal crest sealing it “Sir, with all due respect, why not send one of the squires?” Virgil had always been careful with how he spoke to people in power since they could make or break his entire life plan, “Since Trent is ...assisting King Leonardo, by keeping Prince Roman safe, he is in an undisclosed location. I need someone of trust and my Seneschal recommended you.”
Commander Arlott always talked slow and calmly, no matter how much stress he was under, Virgil always appreciated that. “Understood?” Arlott sounded a little irritated, “Yes, sir.” Virgil didn't want to make that worsen, he knew his commander was known to have a temperament.
As Virgil loaded his things, he took a moment to examine the map. The Commander had explained it was going to be a three to four hour trip, so at least he could get back the same day if he was quick enough.
He arrived, about three hours later, at this secluded tower in the middle of nowhere. He had almost believed he was lost as he couldn't see the tower from above but it was meant to be a lot lower than the trees around it so as to not be spotted and spark curiosity. The Tower was incredibly daunting. He had to admire the measures taken for the tower to be hidden. They built the tower deep into the forest, very far away from the path, they made the tower shorter than the coast redwood trees surrounding it, and they made it incredibly hard to find as the path was infuriatingly confusing and it was located in a dense part of the forest.
After he got over how intimidating a tower can look, he noticed a carriage near the entry of the scary building. Virgil remembered how his Commander had told him there wasn't supposed to be anyone there other than Trent and the Prince. But he could clearly see someone waiting in the carriage.
Virgil noticed how his stomach felt like it was a black hole, he didn't really want to be the person to inform the death of a Royal. He left his horse near the edge of the forest and started sneaking closer to the Tower, as to not be spotted by the man in the carriage. He quickly climbed the steps of the tower and reached a door, yet there were more steps. He decided to check anyway, when he opened the door he saw nothing but a room with a few recognizable belongings, similar equipment as his, definitely where Trent was sleeping, that or the prince had an affinity towards knight equipment.
He heard some commotion at the top of the tower, so he begrudgingly headed up the steps. As he heard the voices rise even more, he quickened his step and tried to listen in. He wasn't able to make out what they were saying but he recognised Trent’s unpleasant and overall irritating voice and a random lady. As he reached the door he heard the voices stop and a thud, followed by groaning.
Virgil opened the door to see something that till this day he will say was one of the most hilarious sights, Trent Ortiz being held at an armlock by some servant woman. He tried his hardest not to laugh at the sight, which was pretty easy considering he still felt anxious and overwhelmingly confused, as funny as the sight was, what in the world had happened? As he raised his gaze to look around the room, as if it would have any answers, he locked eyes with a browned eyed boy, who he quickly identified as the prince Trent was supposed to be protecting, his robe gave it away. The prince just shrugged and yawned as if this was a common occurrence, which it may as well have been, he didn't know much about what being a royal felt like.
Ruth looked up and spotted the young knight with a terrified look on his face, in an effort to comfort him, she gave him a smile “Hi darling, what brings you-” she stopped talking as Trent tried to get out of her grasp “Don't struggle, you’re going to break your arm!” she tried to warn him.
“As if, get off of me, witch!” Ruth sighed and was about to give him another warning but Trent saw Virgil and spoke up again “Virgil, what are you doing standing there?! Get this old hag off of me!” Before Virgil could do anything, Trent continued trying to break free from Ruth’s grip but ended up breaking something else. His arm to be exact. Trent screamed in pain. Ruth immediately let go, it was never her intention to actually hurt him. Trent curled up holding his arm close to his chest.
Roman wasn't really paying attention to the situation, until he heard the scream. He got close to see both, the knight and nurse were okay. Ruth pushed him back as Virgil kneeled down to try and help the knight in pain. Ruth went to one of the trunks and got some fabric that could be used as a temporary sling. She tried to get close to Trent but he backed away slightly, Virgil spoke up “Maybe, I should put the sling on him.” Ruth nodded and gave him the fabric.
When Virgil finished tying the sling, he stepped away from Trent and Ruth decided to speak “It’s in his best interest to see a doctor, he should probably head back.” Virgil nodded, seeing that as the best option. Ruth spoke again.
“You should probably take him back soon, we don't want the injury to get worse.” at that Trent broke his silence “Prince Roman is supposed to be under knight supervision at all times.” Roman rolled his eyes and tried to reason with him
“My father will understand. You’re hurt and need to go get your arm checked out. I can be without a knight for a few hours.” Trent didn't budge “No. Your father gave me a direct order and i’m not going to disobey.” Roman looked at him like he was mad.
Ruth decided to ask the young boy who had stayed silent in the corner. “Virgil, was it? Honey, are you a knight?” Virgil looked up and nodded. “Well, he can stay with Roman and I can take you to a doctor in the carriage.” Trent scoffed. “They made me the Prince’s knight because of my skill; you can’t just replace me with someone who acts as a messenger.” Ruth did not like that at all, Virgil reminded her of Remy and her motherly instincts were kicking in
“Right now you arent of any help because you're hurt!” he fired back quickly “And who’s fault is that?” Ruth didn't want another screaming match to start “I warned you didn't I? Just let the boy be Roman’s temporary knight and later on they'll find a ‘better fit’ replacement as you put it.” Trent looked annoyed but begrudgingly agreed.
Virgil looked at the Prince as the other two were arguing, he was quiet and his eyes seemed to be distant, his posture made him seem annoyed but his face didn't show it. Ruth signaled him to help Trent to get down.
Virgil seemed to be doing the same as the prince and ignoring Trent arguing ‘how Roman couldn't be left alone in the tower’. He helped Trent into the carriage and turned back to see the servant lady talking to the prince, she gave the royal a hug and turned to the carriage, Virgil helped her in.
Roman and Virgil watched the carriage leave. Virgil turned to tell the royal how it’d be better for them to head inside. But he saw the monarch already headed to the tower, and he quickly scrambled to catch up with him.

29 Things I Love About Dan
1. That he came out to his family via email. Aspirational.
2. Dude really, really loves his grandma.
3. That one time at a book signing when the bookstore overpromised tickets and there was a dad that was really upset because his daughter had been waiting in line so long and didn't get to meet them. The dad was just shouting at Dan and Phil and everyone else was trying to just quickly walk on but Dan stopped, turned around, and talked to the dad.
4. That he's the first person to defend someone he loves in any situation where he even perceives they're being shit upon, but in the same breath will make fun of them himself. He's the epitome of older brother attitude.
5. He spends a lot of money on clothes but then he wears what he buys every single day for a span of at least a year so he does at least get his money's worth.
6. That time on vyou when someone asked him what he looks for in a girl and his answer was the ring that fell off his hand last time that he really wants back.
7. His reaction to the Phil's wife story. I still laugh thinking about Sabrina and Lola. In the process of answering that he made a remark about how Phil leaves to go with his 'real' family and sometimes that just latches itself onto my brain. There was a similar comment during the blue/gold dress debate where Phil referenced Dan in with family and it's just... like, yeah, they're in love, they're in a relationship. But they're not just partners, they are full on out and out family to each other and that Dan found that at a time when he was so scared and felt so isolated with his own family is worth everything.
8. The depth of feeling in his voice during that one "Katie, Katie, Katie... Katie, Katie, Katie. No." liveshow answer. You know the one. He was having none of that and if Katie got verbally incinerated in the process of his answering, so be it.
9. When he'd be doing a liveshow and get on a tangent and end up talking about condiments or dips for like four minutes straight.
10. The way he never minded putting someone on blast that pissed him off but knew that it bothered Phil so he would consult with Phil first sometimes but then if the situation actually involved Phil being hurt in some way all bets were off he Was naming that trainer that made Phil puke he did not Care if Phil gave him an alias for the video Kai deserved what he got for pushing Phil too far.
11. That after a decade he still wants to impress Phil's family by doing things like cleaning before they come and making them all coffee.
12. And yet still made a cake to give to Phil in front of them that talked about wanting to see Phil's ass. The duality of man is real, indeed.
13. Nicer Internet. Young Minds. Make-a-Wish. Mermaids. He only just came into his own with being charity-minded in the last few years and I don't for a second doubt he does more privately than publicly and probably has some mental spirals about using his platform vs being accused of virtue signaling. But this is just one way I love watching him find his footing in the world as an adult with privilege.
14. He introduced an important word to my personal lexicon with Haru and I'd like the rest of the world to catch on because it's just a very specific action of lying while obviously lying and pretending you aren't lying and I love it.
15. When he was fifteen he was so in his emo kid feelings that he wanted black angel wings tattooed on his back.
16. That little tune he'd hum when he was trying to space out thoughts during liveshows.
17. That somehow he beat all the odds and is best friends with the first person he subscribed to (Bryony) and in a relationship with his teenage self's favorite youtuber (Phil, obviously). Teenage Dan had a really shit time of almost everything but in that one specific 'meet your idols' area he was truly blessed with all of the luck.
18. "All I can taste is cherry, all I can smell is cherry, all I can hear is cherry and all I can feel is cherry. Can't really see much though."
19. The fact that he owned up to previous bad takes and opinions and deleted old videos and tweets.
20. Litralee.
21. They originally wanted Phil to run the board at the radio show but he did such a bad job of it after the first episode that they gave it to Dan instead, and I think for someone with zero radio work experience or training Dan did an amazing job. He may spend a lot of time doubting himself but when a spotlight is on him he's clever and confident and adapts quickly.
22. The way when he says 'at all' he still sounds like his five year old self.
23.  That he tried to run the marathon last year, and didn't, and tried again this year. When you're someone that fears judgement for your failures and knows everything you do is scrutinized by a very large audience - not just fans but people waiting for you to fail so they can report on that, too - sharing in that way seems like it would be really hard. It was shit luck that he couldn't run it this year either but I have faith he's gonna cross that finish line because the man Dan Howell has turned into goes after what he wants and fuck what anyone else thinks or expects of him.
24. That one liveshow they did without pants. You know that was Dan's idea. Phil is a respectable young man who does not go live on the internet to thousands of people in just his underwear. But Dan? Dan would. Dan does. And Dan is a terrible blerson.
25. That in a video to ten million people he said with his whole chest that his relationship with Phil made him feel safe for the first time since he was a small child. And like, yeah, sure, I'm infatuated with their relationship so it made me happy on a personal level. But beyond that; putting words to things is clearly not easy for Dan. It took him decades to acknowledge he was gay to himself. It took decades plus a little to tell his family. Sometimes it doesn't matter how much people know things, giving it a label is fucking scary and I think his fear of labeling his relationship with Phil (to the public) felt like a different kind of exposure than just his sexuality and he still faced them both.
26. He clearly has a very complicated relationship with his parents and family in general but that one story he told about being young and on holiday to Disneyland Paris and his mum is terrified of roller coasters but went on one with him like six times because she didn't want him to be alone. I'm glad through all the badness and doubt and fear he's had at how conditional his parents' love might be, that he had those good memories as well.
27. It was Dan that coined the phrase 'post-baking universe.' He's very aware of the stages of their life and his growth and he shares that self-awareness with the viewers even if he doesn't share all the depth of reasoning behind them. (He also coined the term 'phan' but in that instance I think uhh he didn't know what he was doing so.)
28. That he's learned better coping mechanisms than lashing out online. That he's got therapy now and the option for medication when he needs it. That depression doesn't go away but he knows he has options and support now.
29. He's given us almost a decade of content to watch and rewatch and enjoy and view through the different lights of his growth and our own growth, and who knows what the future will hold.
Okay, last minute addition - we'll call it one to grow on:
30. That Starcourt selfie.

Tropical Vacation pt. 5
Hey hi hello! I'm back at it again with another chapter! I'm scheduling this one to post so I don't forget. I really really liked this one, I put two of my favorite ships In here because of course I did. Kuzuhina and Komanami honestly make my gay heart happy. <3
Characters In this part: Lee!Hajime, Ler!Fuyuhiko, Chiaki, Nagito, Chihiro
Word count: 2,177
Part 1: [Click or tap here!] Part 2: [Click or tap here!] Part 3: [Click or tap here!] Part 4: [Click or tap here!] Part 5: You are here.
After the sun went down, Chihiro found that they couldn’t sleep, so they decided to sneak out of their room to go get something to drink. They took a detour down the stairs after they heard some soft murmuring coming from the lobby.
Upon investigating they found Chiaki playing video games while Nagito watched, chatting to her all the while. As they stepped closer to see what the game was, the floorboards creaked, Nagito and Chiaki’s attention snapped over to The Programmer who blushed in embarrassment for having interrupted them.
“I-I’m sorry! I was just on my way to get something to drink and… I was just curious what you were playing.” they sheepishly explained, looking down at the floor.
Chiaki smiled. “It’s okay,” she said softly, glancing back at the arcade machine. “I’m not sure what the game Is called, The letters are too faded for me to make out. You can come look If you want.”
“Ah! N-No I’ve distracted you enough, I don’t want to be In your way or anything.”
“Really, It’s okay.” She reassured them. “Come join us, Nagito doesn’t bite. If he says something that weirds you out, I’ll handle him.”
Nagito glanced at her nervously before looking at Chihiro. “Chiaki doesn’t bite either… She just tickles.” He smiled in exasperation.
Chihiro hesitated for a moment longer before approaching the two sitting on the bench.
It was a custom bench that Kazuichi made for her and Nagito. He made it after constantly seeing Chiaki sitting playing the game while Nagito either stood next to her or sat on the edge of the machine out of her way and watched. The two had become nearly inseparable over the last month, No one understood why. Chiaki never gave a straight answer when asked, always coming up with a joking answer to their question.
She scooted over, her leg pressing up against Nagito’s as she patted the seat next to her. He put his arm behind her back, his hand resting against the edge of the bench on the other side of her.
Chihiro sat down, studying the machine curiously. “What Is it like?”
“There’s a couple of games programmed into it, But this one is like Pac-man, with Monokuma’s head instead of Pacman. And the ghosts are different colored Usami’s.” Chiaki explained, hitting the start button on it.
The blue lights lit up the dim room and soft 8 bit sounds filled the quiet space, Chihiro smiled as they watched the game enthusiastically. It’s been so long since they’ve seen a video game.
After a few minutes Chiaki paused and turned to Chihiro. “Do you want to play?”
“Wh-What? No, I couldn’t. You’re playing, I don’t want to take over.”
“It’s no problem, It might be nice to watch someone else play for once.” she smiled, to get out of Chihiro’s way, she crawled up into Nagito’s lap, startling him. Apparently he had been zoning out.
“Are you sure…?”
“Mhm. Just hit that button to start.” She replied, pointing to the bright blue button.
Chihiro scooted over so that they were directly in front of the screen now, and hit the button to start. Instantly they were flooded with nostalgia as they remembered all those times they went to the arcade with friends.
They were pretty decent at the game too, once they figured out the A.I’s algorithm they were even able to get a high score.
“Wow, You beat one of my scores.” Chiaki remarked, surprised. Albeit pleasantly so.
“Ah! I-I’m sorry! You probably spent really long trying to fill up the leaderboard!”
“No, No, you’re okay. Really. It’s only a couple of numbers.” She reassured with a gentle smile. “I’m just glad you’re having fun… You really do apologize a lot, Don’t you?”
“I-I’m sorry.” Chihiro blushed. “W-Wait, No. I just… I guess I do apologize a lot… I’m sorr--”
Chiaki poked their side, causing them to squeak and stop mid apology. “That’s exactly my point. You don’t have to apologize so much… You’re okay.”
“Still, It’s impressive how quickly you were able to catch on to the A.I’s patterns and use It against It.” Nagito commented with a smile. “I guess that’s why you’re the Ultimate Programmer! You’re able to spot those things pretty easily I would imagine.”
Chihiro smiled sheepishly at the praise. “Yeah, I’m used to analyzing any kind of coding I can find. I like to deconstruct the coding and see how It works.”
“Kind of like Kazuichi when he finds something well built.” Chiaki replied, nodding In understanding.
“I’m glad there’s someone else here that understands these video games and how they work, I’m pretty useless when It comes to them.”
Chiaki narrowed her eyes as she turned to look at Nagito. “You aren’t useless.”
“Ah! Nonono- I didn’t mean It like that! I just meant I’m not good at games!” He quickly put his hands up in defense.
“I’ve got my eyes on you…” Chiaki mumbled, slowly looking away from him.
Chihiro giggled at the two, blushing and squeaking when they realized that they had giggled out loud and Chiaki and Nagito were now looking at them. “I-I’m sorry! I just-- eep!”
They yelped as Chiaki squeezed their side. “Stop apologizing, I mean It. If you apologize one more time, I’ll give you the same treatment I give him when he talks badly about himself.” She warned playfully.
“O-Okay, S-Sor…” They stopped themselves.
Chiaki climbed out of Nagito’s lap as he went to stand up and stretch. “Hey, You wanna try a multiplayer game?” She asked, Chihiro nodded eagerly and the two began to play a new game.
Nagito curled up on the couch, watching his girlfriend happily playing with her new friend. He smiled to himself as he whispered. “It’s moments like these that give me the most hope, watching you be happy Is the best hope of all.”
“Huh? Did you hear something?” Chihiro asked.
Chiaki shrugged. “Must’ve been the game…” though she glanced over her shoulder at Nagito and smiled at him, seemingly she heard him.
Later on In the night Fuyuhiko jolted awake as he heard his doorbell ring, that uneasy feeling was returning to him as he slowly approached the door. Upon checking his e-handbook he discovered It was two In the morning. He jumped when whoever was at his door knocked.
“You’re a yakuza for fucks sake.” He muttered to himself. “Stop being such a little bitch.”
He swung the door open quickly, immediately relaxing upon seeing It was just Hajime. “Oh… It’s just you…” He sighed softly, stepping aside to let him in.
“Sorry Hiko, I know It’s really late… But I couldn’t get to sleep.” Hajime apologized as he came Inside and shut and locked the door behind him.
“Yeah, I can’t really sleep either. I just dozed off for a couple of minutes.” He replied, setting down on the foot of his bed.
Hajime came over and sat down next to him. “You still worried about the students too?” He asked quietly, Fuyuhiko nodded silently.
Hajime smiled a little, putting his hand on top of his. “Yeah me too.” He said. “But for what it’s worth, I won’t let anything happen to you.”
Hiko blushed, though he would vehemently deny such a thing. “H-Hey, I’m not a damn kid! I don’t need to be protected!”
The depressed student put his arm around the Yakuza’s shoulders and pulled him into his side in an affectionate half hug. “Fuyu, There Is nothing you can do that’ll convince me not to protect you.”
Fuyuhiko smirked slyly as he rested his head on the taller man’s shoulder. “Nothing, huh?”
“Nope, Sorry.”
Hajime closed his eyes, finally feeling himself relax a bit now that he was with Hiko. He'd had some horrible dreams of Fuyuhiko getting hurt or… worse.
However as usual, his relaxed state didn’t last long before It was ruined. The feeling of fingers ghosting against his sides under his shirt made him jolt back to reality with a string of tired giggles. “Hehehehiko Ehehehehehe… w-what ahahare you doing?”
“What’s It look like, Dumbass? I’m tickling you.” He retorted, amused.
Hajime continued to giggle as he squirmed, gently pushing at the Yakuza. “I cahahahan seehehehehe that, but whyhyhy?”
Fuyuhiko began to tickle Hajime’s belly, causing his giggling to quickly turn into laughter. “I’m showing you I can protect myself.”
“Byhyhyhy tickling mehehehe?! Ahahahaha!” He laughed, doubling over to try to block his stomach.
“If I can take you down, Imagine what I could do to someone else.” He grinned cheekily, tweaking his hips.
“GAHA! Ahahahahahahaha! Thahahahahat doesn’t prohohove anything! Ihihihi’m eheheheasy to tahahake down!” Hajime complained, falling backwards on the bed.
Fuyu was quick to settle himself on the brunette’s hips, his fingers nimbly dancing all across his sides. “Then how are you gonna protect me?? You should just let me protect you.”
“FUHUHUHUYU! NAHAHAT THE SIHIHIHIDES!” He yelped as he switched tactics to squeeze at the sensitive spot. “AHAHAHAHAHAA! STAHAHAAP!”
“Then stop all that crap about protecting me,” Fuyuhiko rolled his eyes.
“NOHOHOHO!”
Well, mistakes were made.
“No?? No!?” Hiko repeated as he leaned down, blowing a raspberry against his side. “What do you mean, No!?”
Hajime screamed, his laughter going up an octave as he arched his back from the sensation. “GAHAHAHAHAHAHA! NAHAHAT THAHAHAAT! PLEHEHEHEASE!”
“I’m a Yakuza, I can protect my damn self!” He reminded him with another raspberry to his side. “Just cut that crap out, It bothers me.”
“WHYHYHYHYHY DOES IT BOHOHOHOTHER YOU??”
“Because when you say that It makes me think that--” Fuyuhiko stopped, his fingers resting on Hajime’s side as he suddenly grew silent.
Hajime giggled tiredly as he recovered from the tickle attack, he looked up at Hiko with a questioning look. “I-It makes you think what?”
He shook his head slightly, looking away from the taller man’s gaze.
The trapped Ultimate reached his hands up, gently cupping the Yakuza’s face as he turned his face back to look at him. “What does It make you think?” he repeated softly.
“It makes me think that something Is going to happen… to you…” He said quietly, reaching his hands up to rest against his.
Hajime frowned as Fuyu pulled out of his gentle hold and got off of him, opting to sit next to him instead. “Hiko, nothing Is gonna happen.”
“Then why would you say that?” The blond asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
“Because… I had horrible nightmares about something happening to you, and It makes me feel better to say that. It makes me feel like I have some kind of control over this.” He explained, sitting up.
Fuyuhiko’s face softened as he looked Into Hajime’s eyes. “Is that why you came over…?”
“Yeah.” He sighed, pulling him into his lap. “I had to see with my own eyes that you were okay.”
Hiko frowned as he wrapped his arms around Hajime, resting his head against his chest. “I couldn’t sleep because I was scared as soon as I did I would be woken up to the body discovery announcement…”
Hajime pecked a kiss to the top of his head, silent. He wasn’t sure how to make this situation better for either of them, the fact of the matter is that they’re never safe. Monokuma is always throwing out motives to try to tempt the students into killing, and there’s always that fear in the back of his mind that someone might fall for it one day.
“Hajime? Can you…” He trailed off, stopping his train of thought.
“What?”
“N-Nothing. Nevermind.”
“Hiko…? What Is It?”
“Forget I said anything.”
Hajime frowned, reaching his hand up the Yakuza’s sleeping shirt and brushing his fingers against his side. “Tell me, Or I’ll tickle you.” He gave an ultimatum.
Fuyu flinched at the gentle touch, his body shivering. “Fucking hell,” He muttered under his breath. “F-Fine! I was going to ask you If you’d stay with me tonight.”
Fuyuhiko blushed bright pink as he buried his face in Hajime’s chest without waiting for a response.
“Fuyu…”
“That’s why I told you to forget I said anything. Because It’s stupid.” He mumbled.
Hajime smiled warmly as he soothingly ran his fingers up and down the smaller man’s back. “It’s not stupid.” He said softly. “Yeah, I’ll stay the night with you.”
“You don’t have to if you don’t want to…”
“Hey, Look at me.” Hajime gently pulled the blond back to look in his eyes. “There’s no place I’d rather be than with you. Besides, I might actually get some sleep If I know you’re safe.”
Fuyuhiko blushed even more as he smiled. “Yeah, Me too.”
Hajime leaned in and planted a soft kiss to his forehead, stroking his cheekbone with his thumb. “You’re so cute, especially when you smile.” he teased lightly.
The blond narrowed his eyes as his neck turned pink from embarrassment.
“Hiko? H-Hey… Wait! DOHOHON’T! AHAHAHAHA!”
Welp, It was worth It to harass his boyfriend. At least Hajime didn’t mind being tickled, At least not by Fuyuhiko.

Holidate - Part Two
Pairing: Sweet Pea x Reader
Words: 1600ish
Warning: Mentions of sex, alcohol, overbearing parents
Summary: Tired of being alone on holidays, Sweet Pea and Y/N decide to be each other’s plationic plus-ones all year round. What could go wrong?
Notes: Next update will be Valentine’s Day!
Tumblr media
New Years Eve 2021
Sweet Pea’s still a little confused by it all when he finds himself waiting for her outside Thistle House five days later.
He’d laughed for a solid five minutes while she’d explained the whole thing, picked at little flaws in her otherwise perfect plan, would anyone really believe they were together just like that, and then found him self instantly saying yes when she asks again despite it all.
Maybe it was the hopeful look in her eyes. Maybe it’s because he knew deep down anything is better than spending New Years Eve alone.
Or maybe it was simply the attractive woman asking him on a fake date with no strings attached, an easy solution to both their problems that might actually work.
He’d nodded in agreement when she’d suggested they put some rules in place, invisible barriers to help this run as smoothly as possible.
“No sex.”
“Not a problem.” He leans over the table, shoving a fistful of fries into his mouth to stifle a groan. It hadn’t meant to come out like that. Y/N huffs, only mildly offended that he’d so easily accepted. She flicks him off in response, a roll of her eyes. “Okay rule number two, this isn’t some New Years romance, no falling in love with me at midnight.”
She snorts, directs the curly fry away from her mouth and at his head instead. “I’ll try my best.”
“Speaking of midnight.” He raises an eyebrow as a flicker of curiosity erupts in his mind while he tries to guess where this is going. “I’m not kissing you, fake date or not.”
He laughs, a wicked grin pulling at his lips, a quick wink that’s almost missed as he reaches for the fry basket once again. “We’ll see.”
“Sorry I’m late.” He turns to see her rushing up behind, hand pulling down at the hem of her dress, not that it was doing much. “My Mom became insufferable when I said I had a date.”
He opens his mouth to say something, but can’t quite pick the right words. Y/N’s fast to notice the way his eyes widen, watches them slowly travel from her face down to her legs and back up again.
She’ll give him this much, she thinks, she is his date after all, and she’ll be the first to admit the dress is out of the ordinary for her - a pale pink glittery number that stops short on her thighs and shows a little more cleavage than she’s used to.
“Anyone told you it’s rude to stare?” She hides the warmth darkening her cheeks with a smirk, laughs when his eyes snap back to hers a little embarrassed and doesn’t let herself think too much about the shadow of a smile on his lips.
“You look hot.” So maybe he’d had a few beers before hand, and maybe he’s a little buzzed, but Y/N looks gorgeous and he didn’t have a problem telling her that. There wasn’t a need for a filter tonight, he didn’t need to impress her like this thing between them was real. She just scoffs, shoves playfully at his shoulders. “What? I can say that because you’re my date.”
An eye roll on her behalf, an arm looping through his, a grin forming on both their faces as they move forward. “I suppose you don’t look too bad yourself.”
They barely make it a few steps insides before Toni spots them, waving with her free hand while a cocktail occupies her other. “Y/N!”
“I’m so glad you made it.” The two jump into a hug, squeezing at each other shoulders while Sweet Pea distracts himself with the giant Christmas tree that stands tall in the centre of the room. He’s pretty sure he’s never seen anything like it.
Toni almost does a double take when she sees him, pulling back from Y/N so she can look between them both. “Wait a second- did you two come together?”
“Kind of.” Sweet Pea shrugs like it’s not important, exchanges a worried glance down at Y/N. If anyone’s going to see through this whole farcade it’s Toni.
“Huh.” He watches her whole face light up at the idea, her arm now wrapped lazily around Y/N’s waist, it’s easy to see how close they are. “I never saw that coming, I should have introduced you sooner.”
-
“Okay look at those pair.” Sweet Pea tilts his beer bottle, gesturing towards the edge of the makeshift dance floor where a couple moved wildly together, bodies grinding in a way that was almost too inappropriate for public.
She feels like she’s intruding just by looking in their direction. “A little raunchy for a public event don’t you think?”
“Definitely a new couple starting out, all that passion-“ She shuddered while he smirks, knocks back what’s left in her wine glass before tapping at his shoulder and nodded in the opposite direction, continuing their game of people watching. It had been a fun way to pass the time; he’d made her laugh, and it was much better than following her sisters or Toni around, miserably surrounded by other couples.
“What about him?” Sweet Pea follows her gaze, eyes landing on a man that keeps wringing his hands nervously, a shine of sweat on his forehead as he anxiously speaks to the girl next to him.
“Easy.” He raises the beer to his lips, takes a quick sip while she waits for him to elaborate. “He’s proposing at midnight.”
“You think?”
“Look at him, he’s a wreck.” She laughs, about to add that maybe he just doesn’t like to dance when something else catches his eye and he’s pointing off to the side. “Now, how about those two?”
Y/N cranes her neck, tries to find the couple he’s talking about and almost falls off her chair in disbelief. Stood at the back of the room, almost concealed by darkness, making out like two teenagers- “Oh my god that’s my Mom!”
Sweet Pea chokes in shock, narrowing his eyes, straining to get a better look. “Is that FP?”
Y/N groans beside him, the sound audible over the heavy bass of the music pulsing around the room. “I need another drink.”
-
“She just doesn’t get it.” A few hours in and Y/N starts to slur slightly, red wine nearly spilling from its glass as she waves it around frantically, trying to get her point across. “Maybe I don’t want to settle down.”
“You don’t?” He eyes her from behind his glass of whiskey. An uneasy feeling settles over his chest, one that shouldn’t be there. He shouldn’t care if she wants to settle down or not.
“I mean not right now.” She shrugs, and her whole body slumps. There’s more to the story there, something she isn’t sharing but Sweet Pea decides not pry. Not that she gives him a chance to anyway. “I know it’s only because she cares, but sometimes I just wish she wouldn’t. You know?”
He nods, and for the first time that night a silence falls between them and Sweet Pea finds his heart sinking at the look at her face. So he leans over, plucks the glass from hand, and replaces it with his own. “Dance with me?”
“Lead the way.” She laughs, letting him yank her towards the dance floor. Normally she wouldn’t bother, she wasn’t exactly know for dancing at these things, but all the alcohol definitely helped. And as they both giggle, getting used to spinning each other in circles and jumping around, they music starts to slow.
Sweet Pea doesn’t hesitate, wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her towards his chest. She doesn’t register the countdown sounding around them, content with swaying back and fore, her head on his shoulder. But then he spins her out in front, pulls her back into him with a gentle tug just as the crowd yells ‘one’ and kisses her without thinking.
Her lips still tingle with the rule break when they pull away. “What was that?”
He nods subtly over her shoulder, asks her not to turn around to suddenly before explaining. “You’re Mom’s watching, gotta make it believable right?”
She feels a little queasy.
-
The Uber ride back to her apartment is filled with an unbearable silence. The kiss had thrown things off balance between them, and when she’d awkwardly offered to find her own way home he’d refused, insisted on making sure she got home safe.
“So tonight wasn’t awful.” He states, teasing her. If the car wasn’t so dark, he’d have seen the way she blushed.
“Yeah it was fun.” She agrees, and then they’re quiet again, a tension growing thick between them.
It isn’t until the car stops outside her home that he speaks up once more. “So uh- do you think you’d need Holidate for Valentine’s Day?”
“That’s in February.” She gasps, shaking her head at the idea. “Who says we won’t have found someone real by then.”
Her words make his throat burn. “Doesn’t hurt to be prepared. Plus FP throws this whole family day thing for the workers at the garage, would be nice to show up with someone that isn’t my best friend and his boyfriend...”
“Well then, I have your number-“ She reaches for the door handle, pushes it open and steps into the cold night air. “I’ll text you if I’m free.”
And then she’s gone, a door slamming shut in her wake and Sweet Pea’s left wondering if he’ll ever see her again.

I see your “Hatter and a duck” and I raise you: Hatter and a Swan.
Hatter: Graceful. Beautiful. Long-necked. And completely unafraid to kick someone’s ass.
Aguni: Yeah, swans are cool…
Hatter: I was talking about me, but I’m glad you’re putting two and two together.
If you have the time and inclination, I’d love to see what you do with this concept!
(And congrats on your 200 followers! Way to go!)
Swans Wonder About Nice Styles
Characters: Aguni Morizono, Hatter
Genre: Fluff. Just two bros having a chat at early o' clock.
667 words
Tada, a piece of light swan chaos. ✨ Swan fashion to be exact. Warning, it's a tad gay. Just a smidgen. ✨
Tumblr media
“ Psst….. Pssssssst…. Hey, Mori, wake up-“ Takeru shakes his best friend again, leaning over the man. Aguni merely grunts and attempts to swat him away, his hand managing to rest on Takeru’s chin. Takeru pulls his chin inwards with a sly grin, Aguni’s hand sliding off and resting on the meaty bicep Aguni called his arm. Takeru shakes him again, just a little more vigourously than before.
Aguni finally rolls over with a low groan, Takeru grinning from ear to ear as he finally makes eye contact with Aguni. “ Hello Mori~”
“ What is it this time.”
Takeru hums, extending his body outwards until his legs popped out from underneath the large blanket the both of them had been sharing since their late night Monopoly game, his arms folded underneath his chin as he rested on Aguni’s fine chest.
“ So I was thinking-“
“ Not again.…” Aguni grumbles under his breath, Takeru scoffing in mild yet pure offense, lightly smacking Aguni in the stomach for that comment. It didn’t really affect the man in the slightest, but it was the thought that counted.
“ As I was saying, I was thinking, and I got a wonderful thought. Swans.”
Aguni stares at Takeru, face blank as he seemed to process the single word. Slowly he repeats him, eyebrows knitting together. “ …. Swans.” “ Yes! Swans! Just think about it: Me, in my pure glorious beauty, strutting through town in an absolutely gorgeous swan-themed outfit! Or, if you feel like you can’t live up to my standards because we’re going to be matching my dear best friend in the whole world-“ “ I’m your only best friend.” “ Shhhhh! I’m speaking here Mori! Because you’re my best friend and clearly deserve to show off your impeccable self to the world, if you want I can loan you that swan tube hat plus a shimmery white cape to go with your white jacket you have in the back of your closet.” Takeru smiles at Aguni, who continues to stare back at him, eyes still half lidded from being woken up so suddenly.
“ And why swans, exactly?”
Takeru pushes himself up only to put a hand to his chest, the other precariously balanced on Aguni’s chest. “ Well obviously because they’re just like me! Just think about it: I’m graceful, beautiful, I can annihilate my opponents with a few well timed elbow punches, I look stunning in photos, I have a good neck structure, they’re the epitome of romance- Oh there are so many examples we’d be here all night if I had to list them all!” Aguni quietly grunts, stretching what wasn’t compressed by the black swan of a man and popping a few joints. “ Yeah, I guess. Swans are cool and important, we know.” “ I’m talking about me as a swan, but thank you for the compliment Mori! You’re putting it together at least.” Takeru flops back onto Aguni with a soft huff. “ So are you in or not?” There was a beat of silence. Several, actually. Takeru was almost convinced Aguni had fallen asleep again and was about to shake the living beans out of him again when Aguni finally spoke up, pushing Takeru off his chest and rolling over to face away from him.
“ Fine. But no swan hat.” “ Aww no fun~ But alright, it would’ve clashed with the royal vibes anyways. However I’m getting you a hat either way Mori~ Thank you kindly, goodnight!” Takeru flops back down on the ground and plops his face directly into the crease in Aguni’s back. “ By the way have you been using my body wash lately? You smell heavenly, and it’s not the rugged man smell. Do we need to head out tomorrow to the store to get you your body wash?” “ Go to sleep Takeru.” Aguni mutters. In a quieter voice, Aguni mumbles an affirmative, Takeru humming with a smile and yawning.
“ Okay~ Night Mori, don’t let the bedbears eat your ankles~”
All he gets in response is a snore, Takeru grinning into Aguni’s back.

Random She-Ra Season 5 Thoughts: THE FINAL RAMBLING
Yep. I finally got all my crazy absurd thoughts about this gay adventure-romance-drama cartoon summarized into one incoherent yet fun to read computer document/article! ...four months after the show itself ended. Oh well, no one’s perfect. Anyways, there are a whole lot more insane observations than ever before, so I had to put it below a link so this thing didn’t back up my blog or any of yours. Hope you enjoy reading through these as much I enjoyed spouting them for no discernible reason other than I felt like it!
-I feel that since is the last season, I ought to talk about an important part of the show that I’ve been putting off: the animation. It’s… okay. It’s definitely smoother than what the original 80’s show and it’s brother series (heheh) looked like, but at the same time it still seems to suffer from similar limitations which causes some distracting moments of stiffness. But other than that, it’s pretty good. It’s no Titmouse or Studio Mir but it looks good and it gets the job done.
-After all, let’s not forget: “Imperfection is beautiful!”
-Even when things are at their lowest, Adora is a jock with a heart of gold.
-Horde Prime and the Galactic Horde’s aesthetic feels like a mixture of Catholicism, Scientology, Heaven’s Gate, and modern Microsoft, and honestly, that just makes him creepier.
-Speaking of Horde Prime, he didn’t waste any time with destroying Bright Moon. …apparently.
-Furthermore, on the topic of his giant holographic messages, WAS THAT A FREAKING MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE MOVIE REFERENCE?!
-Boy, Glimmer and Catra sure got along quickly! It’s almost like they magically understand each other because they both assumed leadership roles and screwed up big time! …I guess.
-Either that or this season is going to be a speedrun.
-Wow, the Rebellion sure got used to having a once-thought-dead king as well as a known enemy general/abuser running around their camp awful fast, didn’t they?
-Mara’s got a spaceship, a cyber girlfriend, a magic grandma, a dragon, a tragic backstory, AND a force ghost?! Dang, even in death, the girl’s got it all. No wonder everyone likes her!
-(*me looking at the TV rating at the start of episode*) “Why is language in there? Is there surprise cuss words or something in this season?” (*sees Horde Prime seize control of a clone for the first time*) “HOLY FREAKING SH—oh that’s why.”
-Applause to the crew for making the “dinner with Prime” scene for making a meal between a sparkly princess, a catgirl, and alien cult leader feel even more uncomfortable than it had a right to.
-(*me throughout the season whenever a clone was onscreen*) Is that Hordak? Is that him? Is that him? Is that him right there? Oh it is—oh no wait. … Is that h—
-Extra applause for having Glimmer learn from her grey-area wetwipe phase and refusing to sell out her friends again whilst telling the imperialist cult leader where to stick it.
-I would pay a sizeable portion of my life savings to hear what a Scorpia and Swift Wind duet would sound like.
-In fact, I’d double it if it was just Scorpia singing.
-Ah what the heck. I would triple it for an entire She-Ra musical!
-As happy as I am to see to see Entrapta interacting with the other princesses again, I have to say that their big reunion left me with some mixed feelings. Here’s a quick rundown:
-Entrapta, a grown autistic woman, being led around on a leash by non-neurodivergent teenagers—again: that’s bad.
-The Princesses confronting Entrapta about joining the Horde: that’s good!
-The Princesses blaming all their problems with the Horde bots on Entrapta’s actions and her hyper fixations alone: that’s bad.
-Entrapta explaining herself, admitting that she regrets her mistakes, and getting the Princesses to understand that she thinks and communicates differently, but in spite of that, she really does want help find Glimmer: that’s good!
-Entrapta never gets to call out the Princesses for how poorly they treated her: that’s bad.
-Entrapta saves the day and goes to space: that’s good!
-Scorpia and Entrapta still haven’t interacted even though the former is with the Rebellion in the first place because she went to look for her because she is her best friend: …can I go home now?
-How nice! Michah finally got to shapeshift!
-And he’s rocking that She-Ra outfit to boot!
-So is Darla a back up of Light Hope or do they just run on the same operating system and have the same voice?
-I could watch an entire season of Adora, Bow, and Entrapta going on space adventure in a rundown ship with their custom-made spacesuits, tbh.
-Is anyone else weirded out that Catra’s younger self looked at her in her flashback(?).
-Actually what WAS happening there, anyhow?
-(*watching Bow’s spacewalk to save Glimmer*) “Is that a Gravity reference?” asked the man who never saw Gravity.
-Speaking of spacewalks, how did Glimmer survive those precious few seconds in space? Does the teleporter teleport a breathable atmosphere too?
-Also, Catra, WHY did you think it would be a good idea to teleport Glimmer into space? I know you had a plan and the ship was right there but… Ah, never mind.
-Not that I’m complaining but Glimmer’s apology to the rest of the friend squad for her HORRIBLE plan last season went… surprisingly quickly.
-You know as cool as The Star Siblings are, being a quirky band of space-travelling siblings with cool powers and some trans rep to boot, I only have one small problem with them: weren’t there already Star Sisters on Etheria back in season 1?
-That doesn’t sound right, but I don’t know enough about Masters of the Universe characters to dispute it.
-Entrapta confirmed pan, objectum, AND horny on main. Dang girl, you’re gonna have fun whether you got Hordak back or not…
-“The Velvet Glove” is both a menacing and stupid name for a decadent overlord’s mothership.
-Wait, it’s from the 80’s canon? Oh. That kind of explains it, actually.
-Goshdangit, I wanted Catra to face punishment for her crimes, but I didn’t think that would involve going to evil alien conversion therapy!
-Nor did I want her to die! For a second. Actually, since it obviously wasn’t going to last I was… weirdly okay with that part???
-Horde Prime seems awfully okay with Catradora. I mean he’s still super creepy and manipulative about it, but also oddly progressive for an evil brainwashing cult leader.
-(*Adora transforms into a She-Ra through seer will*) First of all, called it. Second of all, WOAH MAMA now that’s a glow up!
-Wrong Hordak did not have to be a thing, and yet, I’m glad that he is.
-Hordak remembers the LUVD crystal and Entrapta… Hordak remembers Entrap—! It’s happening! Oh my gosh, it’s happening! Everybody stay calm!
-Wow, Entrapta didn’t have to be so forgiving of Catra for everything she’s done to her but she did. Only I’m not sure if that was Entrapta taking the high road or the low road.
-Or which road the crew took for that matter.
-I remember when I thought those “Chipped AUs” floating around here on tumblr were just something the fans came up with and that chipping people was not an actual despicable thing Prime does in canon. I miss those days.
-I know it’s not the same as before or the original design, but True She-Ra’s designs and powers? I think they slappin’.
-Hooray, Adora and Catra are finally making up! And it only took four and half seasons worth of communication failures, toxic villainous behaviour, and physical violence for Catra to snap out of it!
-…We can go back to Entrapdak now, right?
-Poor Elberon. First they unknowingly adopt a double agent then get invaded by the Horde and now they’re getting brainwashed and chipped by the Galactic Horde. They might be a cute village, but they got some pretty lousy security.
-You know it’s cute that Micah is doing his best to be friends with Frosta and get back in touch with his dad-side, but look I can’t be the only one worried about how the local King is a less proactive leader than the princesses or the known war criminal/abuser, right?
-“The Perils of Peekablue” or as I like to call it, “You Thought ‘Boys Night Out’ Caught You Emotionally Off-guard? Hah! Watch This.”
-You know I didn’t think Scorpfuma would be a thing aside that one moment of flirting near the end of season 4, but they really pushed for it to be a thing! This is… actually pretty great! Perfuma’s not perfect, and I would have appreciated giving them a little more time to bond and form some real chemistry, but at least she reciprocates Scorpia’s sweetness instead of rebuffing it in increasingly aggressive fashion.
-I’m not sure what’s more concerning: that Mermista set a boat on fire, that it’s worded like she had a fling as part of some experimental phase, or that Sea Hawk is turned on by this.
-Peekablue might not be real, (I think?) but he is one dapper dude! Female-to-male redesigns could learn a thing or two from him.
-It involved them getting stung and seizuring, but that was a heck of a way to reintroduce Double Trouble! I swear I got watching them cycle through their transformations in some sort of physical reaction.
-Or maybe that was just me worrying about their wellbeing…
-Okay, I get the Chips are huge, and actually rather clever threat, but how do these characters get chipped in the first place? I get there are chipped people who spread the chips throught the population but where do they get those from???
-Do one of those Horde Prime drones just sneak behind someone, slap a chip on their nape then hand them a whole bagfull and say, “Beep boop beep, Horde Prime’s Light, blah blah blah. Alright have fun, kiddo”?
-Or is it some sort of Alien: Covenant deal where they’re just floating around and Lord help you if one sticks to you?
-HOLY CRAP THEY ACTUALLY GOT SCORPIA TO SING! AND SHE WAS GREAT!
-Oh shoot. Guess I owe the crew twice my life savings now…
-Entrapdak might be what got me into this show, but it’s Double Trouble that kept me around, so you can imagine how happy I was to see them make their grand reappearance!
-Conversly, you can imagine my disappointment when they just disappeared until the finale.
-And on that note: HOW DID YOU GUYS LOSE DOUBLE TROUBLE?!
-You forgot to cherish them, didn’t you?
-So, Scorpia sacrifices herself just after finding a new girlfriend and gaining some newfound confidence, Mermista and Sea Hawk are split up,and Double Trouble didn’t join the main cast. Why can’t you just have fun like a normal cartoon, show?
-Gosh, I love me some shifting title cards!
-Is it just me or did they sneak in some more Annihilation references on Krytis?
(-Said the guy who was too chicken to watch the movie and just read about it and watched a few clips online.)
-(*audibly sighs*) FINE. I guess I like Catradora now. Are you happy now, SPOP Crew? ARE YOU?!
-Hooray, Catra’s got a emotional support animal! And they’re a shapeshifting magic alien cat. Those are the best kind!
-Is it weird that I knew that weird glowing stuff on Krytis was just magic all along, or was it just not hidden very well. Anyways, I like Krytis. I like that we got to see a truly alien world with its own form of magic.
-Plus, we got a logical advancement of the magic versus science subtheme with magic being Horde Prime’s weakness! Neato!
-Getting back on the “which is worse?” wagon for a second, I don’t know what feels less right: that Wrong Hordak’s big revelation and his resolution to free himself and his brothers and friends from Horde Prime’s control is played humorously, or that Real Hordak should be the one having this moment.
-That bit with Castaspella and Shadow Weaver where she tells Casta about Etheria being a living thing with inherent magical property, or whatever, while we got a peaceful shot of some boar creatures sleeping was actually kind of nice. It would have been nicer though if it wasn’t part of a power hungry abuser’s obvious scheme. If only there was a kindly old witch lady character who was in touch with nature and knew just what to say when someone was feeling downOH WAIT.
-Furthermore… Why did Shadow Weaver and Castaspella need to have romantic tension?
-Seriously though, where’s our Madame Razz quota this season? Where’s my supportive magic grandma timelord at, yo?
-Yup, they speedran this season.
-I’m actually really disappointed we didn’t see more of an intergalactic new rebellion rising up to fight Horde Prime’s forces across the universe. Especially if it meant we got to see more Star Sibling action!
-Again, I adore Wrong Hordak but I keep wondering what was keeping the crew from just bringing in Original Flavour Hordak. (You know, aside from teasing us Entrapdak fans and trying to distract us with a loveable new character in the meantime.) I mean he could have done the whole infiltrating the clone squads and tricking them bit, too.
-Heck, he could have done the wink, too!
-I’d gleefully point out Loo-Kee’s cameo this season but apparently, they already made some several seasons ago. That’s what I get for not rewatching the 80’s show and training my eyes first.
-(*sees Erelandians*) Are those freaking Toads and Toadettes?
-So, what’s keeping them from just hitting Spinerella’s chip again? Besides emotional baggage and gale force winds, I mean.
-Perfuma coming out of a cave scared out of her wits, demanding to know who’s there, clinging to her friends as soon as they come back, and balling her eyes out is a big, BIG mood.
-Frosta absolutely decking Catra in the face was nestled somewhere between cathartic and excessive.
-Netossa spraying her with a bottle of water on the other hand…
-Oh, so Greyskull was the name of a Rebel Squad! I think. Meh, the important thing is we got an explanation and it still sounds cool.
-Leave it to a couple of dads to make a secret message out of a dad joke.
-You know I made fun of Light Hope for being creepy, but I swear that avatar from the Spire is even creepier. I don’t know if it’s her face—those dang blank eyes, man—or just that it she’s less animated than the real thing, but it just felt… off.
-Aww, Noelle made Netossa’s princess weakness illustrations! So cute!
-Forget episodes that deserves Emmys, Keston John deserves one for voicing Hordak, Horde Prime, all the clones, and several minor villains and giving each and every single one a distinct voice! Where my king’s respect, eh?
-Yes, Catra you had a small disagreement with Hordak. …Over sending his girlfriend and your “friend” to DIE IN A LITERAL LIVING HELL.
-Sorry, I just had to get that out of my system.
-Why does Perfuma get pressured to get angry and go wild when Entrapta’s the one who’s had it the worst out of all them? Why can’t my gamer girl go berserk, dammit!?
-Okay, but really, how do these fricking chips work??? Are they parasite devices who store Horde Prime’s Baptizing Dew then slowly pump it into their host’s bodies? Do they have their own nervous systems? Are they technorganic? Also, how and why do we need to make these chips are bigger threat then they need to be?
-Horde Prime showing up on Hordak’s throne in grand Killing Joke style and casually throwing shades at his brother’s overblown attempts to impress him is pretty awesome, but it feels strangely underdeveloped. Hordak’s not there to have his hard work insulted and we never got to see Adora have any similar encounter with Hordak here before, so unless you look at it from the perspective of someone who has been here before in the Horde story like Catra it lacks the dramatic weight it should have had.
-Scorpia resisting the chip to save her new friends was pretty great, though.
-I swear, when they got to the scene where Adora and the others figured out that Shadow Weaver was grooming her so she could use her to get to the Heart of Etheria, I was mouthing “You B***H” through the whole thing.
-They really brought back Etherian deep magic just so they had something to make Micah threatening. …okay.
-Okay, the rest of “Failsafe” messed me up, so here’s a rundown on all the other messy thoughts I had while the show ripped my heart and ground it to dog food:
         -Entrapta and Hordak reuniting: Yay!
-Swift Wind yanking her away before she can get through to him: Boo.
-Catra encouraging Adora to try and take care of herself for a change: Yay!
-Adora hurts Catra and she runs away: Boo.
-Adora finally calling out Shadow Weaver on what an utterly horrible person she is: Yay!
-Adora resolves to risk sacrificing herself to save the world: Bo—okay, seriously, was all this suffering really necessary, show?
-I know I mentioned in my previous She-Ra random thoughts that I supported Glimmadora, but I am okay with Catradora and Glimbow ending up canon. The only problem I have is how rushed they feel—moreso with Glimbow. With Catradora, the crew had an entire season to make it work again and they took it. Glimbow it feels like they were down to the last few episodes and went, “Oh right, we were gonna do something with these two!” then did their darndest to fit in some chemistry in between all the other stuff going down.
-As ominous as it was, the music where Horde Prime starts hacking Etheria honestly SLAPS.
-Okay, I know everyone is magic or something, but I am legit surprised getting electrocuted in water didn’t kill the heroes right then and there.
-Sea Hawk tries to flirt with his girl even as she’s trying to kill him. Truly, he is a man of taste.
-What do you know, Shadow Weaver can only do good when she’s (canonically!) punch drunk.
-You know a whole lot of this could have been avoided if Holo-Mara was Adora’s mentor instead of Light Hope.
-When I think about it, it was actually really clever to make Horde Prime the final villain for Adora to face: a domineering decadent man who’s been in power forever against a humble emotionally vulnerable compassionate young woman.
-Not to mention the divide between cult-like oppression and progressive freedom. Or something.
-Holy crap, did the First Ones get a great freaking a Great Old One for a guard dog?!
-So, you guys seriously didn’t bring Angella back to reunite with her family OR mention her all season after the impact her death had on everyone all last season until Glimmer needs a power-up at the last possible minute and then you never bring her up again. That is absolutely a dick move in bird culture.
-Entrapta’s hacker sticker gives me life. Gamer girl gremlin princess forever!
-On the one hand, I’m disappointed that Adora and Catra don’t get to have an awesome couple battle against the security monster and win. On the other hand, Shadow Weaver is finally dead. YAY!
-With apologies to the writers and especially Lorraine Toussaint. She did splendidly bringing this character to life and even if I hated Shadow Weaver, I adored the effort she put into making her one of the most emotionally complex villains I’ve ever seen.
-Words cannot, will not, and will never describe the pure joy that I experienced when I first saw Hordak’s big scene: standing up to and disowning his tyrant brother, saving Entrapta, declaring his love to her (albeit in a nicely lowkey fashion), and then throwing Horde Prime to his apparent doom Disney style with Entrapta cheering him with sheer glee. GOSH, it was everything I could have hoped for from this season!
-Now if only they kept the deleted scene where they got a moment to themselves before Prime body-jacked him again like the creepy sonuvabich he is.
-Horde Prime just wouldn’t be a religious villain if he didn’t tell everyone to burn.
-Bonus points for actually trying to burn the frigging planet.
-Aside from the idea of Adora switching to wearing a She-Ra themed dress everywhere in the future, the future vision was really quite sweet, and seeing Prime step in to ruin it made it all the more impactful.
-Can I just say that it’s absolutely wonderful that the show, for all it’s flaws, said  “**** senseless heroic sacrifices”?
-BREAKING: Lesbian cat finally makes up with her jock ex, has a canon kiss so pure it saves the world!
-In other news, Catradora fans are still spoiled rotten.
-Wow, look at all those character comebacks they skipped through! Look, there’s the chefs from Dryl, Double Trouble, Huntara, the Horde Trio, Imp, Madame Razz—are you kidding me?!
-Grumbling aside, I actually find the idea of the Horde Trio and Imp getting involved in a G-rated science-fantasy version of the first Hangover movie quite amusing.
-Oh dang, they pulled a Castle in the Sky with the Velvet Glove!
-As nice as it was to see Aodra save Hordak from Horde Prime and destroy the latter through exorcism via sheer compassion, I’m rather disappointed we never got to see She-Ra go full Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengence on any creepy old cult leaders.
-Yeah, it would have gone against the “love conquers all” set up, but love takes on many forms, does it not? So, why can it not manifest as cleaving your mortal enemies with extreme prejudice to save your loved ones?
-Furthermore, in addition to Holo-Mara being a better mentor, Hordak raising Adora instead Shadow Weaver could have prevented a lot of similar problems. Maybe. Possibly.
-Eh whatever, he has a lifetime’s worth of fanfiction to make up for it.
-ENTRAPDAK IS CANON, ALL IS RIGHT WITH THE WORLD.
-And so is Catradora and Glimbow! That’s nice, too.
-Aww, how sweet of them to skip through Catra and Scorpia, and Glimmer and Micah’s big reunions! It’s not like we’ve been waiting forever for this stuff or anything. HahahahAHAHAHDHAHAHFHAFHKSADJHFKAJHDfine.
-And so it all ends with everyone either friends, in love, or both, as heroes decide to make up for it all with a grandiose sequel promising more exciting space adventures we probably won’t see! HOORAY!
-All snarky ranting aside, I actually really enjoyed the finale. It was exciting, heartwarming, and above all it ended on happy, hopeful note without leaving too many frustrating questions unanswered. (*glares with utmost contempt at Voltron and Star vs. The Forces of Evil*)
-You know, this wasn’t bad for a final season, but I think this might have worked better as two seasons. Not in Netflix’s cheap “split a regular 13-episode season in two 6-7 episode long seasons” strategy, but I mean two full seasons with their own storylines leading up to the grand finale:
-First, one that starts out with Horde Prime’s arrival the downfall of Etheria, focuses on the space adventures, ends with their return to Etheria and gives the characters time to recuperate from season 4.
-Then, we have one final season that focuses on the Best Friend Squad’s Return to Etheria, Horde Prime’s plan, gives everyone more time to properly reconcile before ¾ of the entire cast gets chipped, sets up a new Rebellion made up of Princess Alliance and former Etherian Horde members, maybe even set up a proper Hordak redemption arc or something, and then our big happy ending.
-On a mostly unrelated note, I also feel that the whole show could have turned out even better if it had been either a dedicated science-fantasy war drama with some levity (like the good Star Wars shows or Avatar: The Last Airbender) or a lighthearted yet empowering slice-of-life action-adventure romcom (i.e. basically a well-made remake of the original show in the style of Adventure Time and Parks and Rec or something).
-My final random thought for this whole thing: we really could have used a triumphant end credits song or something. Aside from obviously recommending Fabulous Secret Powers, I would have also recommended the original 4 Non Blondes “What’s Going On,” a reprise of “Warriors,” Gorillaz’s “We Got the Power,” or (my favourite) Talking Head’s “(Nothing But) Flowers” since the ending scenes remind me of it.
Thanks again to the crew for giving me something to live for and/or complain about!
Now, let’s hope the He-Man reboots do as well...

Lesbian has been a word that has been negatively used since I was a child. When I was a little kid I was told “You can’t be gay or marry outside of your own race” by my father. I must’ve bottled that up for years. I’ve always looked at girls since I was a kid. I remember one of my earliest memories being from when I was about 7 and thinking a lady with a green shirt was really pretty. I also always remember staring at boobs and butts, A LOT. I always had an interest in girls, I just didn’t realize it.
When sexuality became to become known, one of my friends came out as bisexual and I flipped out. Being gay was always seen as bad to my family and thus I had to follow it. When “I Kissed a Girl”, “She Keeps Me Warm” and “Same Love” were on the radio, I became very anxious and changed the pronouns to prove I wasn’t gay. I couldn’t be gay right? Even though I have looked at girls before and I remember staring at my friend’s brother’s ceiling with a picture of a woman in a bikini.and being mesmerized by it.
As I got older, the concept of being gay became normalized to me. I came out as pansexual because that’s what I thought I was at the time. I maybe had one “crush” on a boy, but more numerous ones on girls. My friend, a camp counselor, and my mom’s friend’s daughter.
High school finally rolled around and I went through my first stage of questioning. I cycled through labels until I came to bisexual. That’s what I believed to be best. Then the crushes on girls flooded in. The first crush I recognized I had on a girl was my friend’s ex girlfriend. I wanted her! But when my friend asked her out I was crushed. “Oh well I thought, I’ll have to live with it”. I tried to third wheel in their relationship, probably due to lingering feelings. Then I developed a crush on another girl, a good friend of mine. I asked her out to TOLO, but she said no and I cried. Straight girls cry when they get rejected by girls right? I almost asked a guy friend of mine as a rebound but then decided against it.
Later on since both of my friends were dating, I decided that I should to. I chose a guy who I thought was ‘cute’ and we went out a few times. He even asked me to homecoming the next year where he kissed me. I felt nothing by it and very awkward. Him and I went out again a few more times but I didn’t really feel much for him. I liked the kissing somewhat but that was about it. I think I was more excited by feeling rebellious. My friends pushed the label of ‘boyfriend/girlfriend’ onto us, but it was awkward. But I still went along with it.
At the beginning of sophmore year, I had to attend eating disorder treatment and I was drawn to another girl there. She was so cool and I wanted to be close to her and spend time with her. Too bad nothing ever came of it. That same year however, I also developed a crush on another girl in my French class. When she walked in, it was like time slowed down, I was SO attracted to her. We even sat next to each other in class and boy, did she make me nervous. I felt things that were different than even being with that guy I was with. Even seeing her years later, my eyes still were drawn to her like a damn magnet. She was gorgeous.
In junior year, my friends began to have sex and lose their virginities. I felt left behind and wanted to fit in. There was always a craving for it, especially since I always felt ‘different’ and left out, even since I was a kid. I was bullied too and with a sweet blend of my low self esteem and depression, I followed trends. This was just another one of them. I made a ‘pact’ with myself that year to get a boyfriend for the sole purpose to lose my virginity and I did. I also developed a weird obsession with two guys that year. I dressed up and daydreamed scenarios in my head of them liking me. I wanted them to want me, but I’m not sure if I wanted them. But I also did end up achieving my goal that year. I got the boyfriend and lost my virginity. I did what I had to do. Even though it was awkward and I felt numb after it. It resulted in me having 2 months of extreme anxiety due to a fear of being pregnant.
In the relationship, I didn’t feel much, or not at all for the guy. I leaned on him for support due to my dysfunctional family. It was an escape. I eventually broke it off with him and got over the relationship within a week. This started a cycle of waiting for the next boyfriend to come around. The next one eventually did. He was nice and cared for me. He pursued me first and I went with it. I’m glad I didn’t have to have sex with him. It was the easiest relationship I was in because we were more like friends and less like lovers. Then we broke up and I got over him within a week. Rinse and repeat.
The last boyfriend I dated for nine months and I believed at one point I loved him. He cared for me and had a nice family I could escape to, when mine was falling apart at the seams. I craved the ‘nuclear family’ unit since I never had in the start. I felt accepted and safe there when I didn’t want to go home to mine. His companionship was nice and all, but I know deep down I didn’t care for him the way he cared for me. He loved me, but I didn’t love him. He wanted to escalate the relationship to the next level and an alarm bell went off in my head. It was a major “NO” to be but I tried to ignore it and said “maybe” to him. I often went along for the ride and never followed what I wanted. We eventually broke up after we were drifting apart. I began to crave sex less and began to hate doing anything with his penis. I tried my best to avoid having penetration and was relieved when we didn’t have to do it. I was so scared of getting pregnant, but deep down it may have been my body telling me that it wasn’t right. I was also relieved when I didn’t have to see him as much. I wanted to be away from him and felt relief when I broke up with him. It took me about a week to get over him.
The cycle almost began again when another guy pursued me but I wasn’t into it. He wanted to go out with me again and I panicked. I didn’t want to see him. All this time when I was dating boys, my sexuality was really repressed but it surfaced in cracks. I’d often create characters who were LGBT+ and the ones I was most obsessed with were often bisexual or lesbian. Most characters I created were never straight, but I turned them so because of my own internalized homophobia. I dealt with it a lot for two years and even showed discontentment with others who were openly queer. I think it was because I myself deep down knew I was like them but was afraid to be ‘different’ due to backlash. I had crafted and dressed myself in a way to be palatable to the opposite sex. I had this deep craving to ‘fit in’, so much so that I neglected my own sexuality and in a way a part of myself.
This year, I met another girl who I fell for. I began to crush hard on her and fell head over heels for her. She made me feel good about myself for once in my life. She was beautiful, kind, smart and had a wicked sense of humor. She was like a dream to me. She was my catalyst. I wanted to kiss her and hold her close. We fell asleep on the phone with each other every night and spend hours talking to each other. It was like two peas in a pod we clicked so well. I also craved her touch, her body, her skin against mine, what her lips felt like. I took notice of the little things in her from the curve of her jaw to the color of her eyes. I wrote her letters and picked flowers that I wanted her to see. I wanted to talk to her all the time.
Although our relationship was short, I will forever thank her for lighting the fire again of my sexuality. When I began talking to her, I began to take notice of girls so much more. My gaze averted from that I had learned to that of what I wanted. Pretty girls made me so nervous and I felt like my damn 14 year old self again. It was like being a kid in a candy store, I was so damn happy! I even bought pride merchandise for the first time in forever. I was okay with being gay. However, I should have never brought it up with any of my family. They said that they’d like me to end up with a boy, asked if I have talked to any boys yet, said I haven’t found the right guy, I’m just x sexuality, etc.
Now I’m scared once again and want to go back into the closet. I’m keeping this close to me. It’s my dirty little secret I guess. Questioning doesn’t help either. I doubt myself all the time and ‘test’ myself to see if I am attracted to men. I feel as if I have to ‘double-check’ to see if I am truly gay. It’s the damn doubt all over again. I also punish myself if I look at girls in a sexual way. Girls in the past thought I had touched them and I felt like a dirty pervert, hell my friend even thinks so. It’s hard for me to allow myself to like women again. I don’t want to be seen as a predator or trying to use them as an experiment. I just want a girl to love and give my all to. I want to be the best damn person I can be for my future girlfriend/wife and I’ll be damned if I can’t do that.
All of this questioning process is so confusing. Am I a lesbian? Am I bi? Maybe I’m just a straight girl in denial doing this because I’m lonely. Fuck who knows. I just know that after being with a woman, I sure as hell don’t want to go back. My attraction to men has regressed. Maybe I’m in a bi-cycle, or maybe it’s my lesbian awakening. Only time will tell. Most queer women I have talked to agree that I am a lesbian. When I call myself gay or lesbian. It makes me feel good, but I feel as if I have to resort to bisexual just in case “Mr. Right” comes along. But he probably never will. In fact, he probably never existed.
I’ve had elaborate fantasies about romance but I never saw a clear face of who the “man” was supposed to be. When I fantasize about sex, I was never there unless it was with another woman, never a man. Another woman always took that place and I’d view it from third person, like watching porn. Women light a fire in me that men do not. I’ve gotten turned on by their bodies and touch in a way that I haven’t with guys. Hell if I know why, but I do. Maybe I really am just gay and that’s okay. Maybe I am a lesbian after all. The word isn’t so “dirty” anymore.
Reading back over this reflection from how I feel about my sexuality back in august, it still really rings true to how I feel. I know I experienced attraction to men in the past, but now I feel more attracted to women more than anything. I hate how my brain tries to make me think that this will all be temporary and I will go back to a straight lifestyle eventually, but deep down I know this is what I want. Not going to lie, I don’t like talking about sexuality with anyone irl other than some of my own friends who also experienced the same thing. I tend to keep things under lock and key because I don’t want people to know about my bisexuality. I can’t change who I am yet I continue to try and disprove that I am attracted to women and try to prove that I am more attracted to men despite not really feeling that way anymore. My sexuality isn’t “fluid”, but my preferences have changed. I just wanna be with a woman possibly in the long run and if I never experience any attraction to a man again, nothing is lost for me. I tend not really to go out of my way to interact with men other than friendships just because it’s not something that I necessarily care for. I just gravitate towards spending time with other women and idk why. I know that’s not indicative of my sexuality or anything. Nothing is indicative of it other than who’ve I’ve been attracted to which is women and men. I hate being bisexual too if I’m going to be honest. There’s no basis for my attraction and experiences vary so wildly that I can’t always relate to anyone but go off what I feel.
Maybe some of the way I act is performative because I wanna escape the idea of being with a man. Maybe if I find the “perfect man”, I can learn to be with him and spend my life with him indefinitely. But that relationship with a man just seems so...unsatisfying. I just can’t do it. With women though, I think I can be with one in the long run. I have my own fears of actually not liking it or that I’m gonna react in a similar way to when I was with men in that something felt off all the time, but I’m unsure if that will happen. I’m afraid that I won’t be able to fall in love with a woman or want to spend my life with one. This all sounds very contradictory I know but this is me getting out my own thoughts. I honestly don’t think I want to be with men again. Does this make me a febfem? Maybe, but I also know that a woman just sounds right to me.

‘Boy Meets World’ Re-watch (as an Adult)
‘Girl Meets World’ doesn’t count as a sequel. Not because of the writing/tonal choices but because in the original show - despite continuity issues - the characters felt like real people e.g. the way they spoke/acted/dressed was the way people behaved in the 90s where as in the spin off, they were Disney characters e.g. hyper versions of themselves especially Cory and Eric. And the transition between both shows didn’t come naturally. It’s not an objectivity badly written show but it was pretty much a re-do of the old show with the same storylines/tropes without continuing the story. (I say the same thing about ‘The Incredibles’. vs ‘Incredibles 2’.) Also there were too many cooks in the kitchen pushing one way or another. You could see Micheal Jacobs style, all the aspects were there, but he was also creating a ‘DISNEY’ show at the same time. I don’t know about you but the one message I took from the original show was ‘finding out that life cannot be packenged into a lovely little present ’ which kind of contradicts everything that the new show is. If anything GMW is an AU universe (and it really felt like that, rewatching it right after BMW e.g. it felt flipped) almost like Disney’s version of ‘what happened next?’ The primal difference between both shows is BMW is portraying what is real and GMW is based on what is real.
Going off my point, I will however be always thankful that it exists because I probably wouldn’t of found out about ‘Boy Meets World’ otherwise. Although saying that, I never thought that the original show needed a continuation of any kind (a lot of things make sense about the spin off if you acknowledge that Disney requested it - I think it would of been much better off on its original platform) ‘Boy Meets World’ was very much a product of its time i.e. when tv shows were still relevetivley new and had no rules - like there is stuff in there that not even adult shows today have. Plus there was something about it that felt very personal (such as the characters and setting) as if the creator based it on his own childhood growing up and I think that was part of its charm and why it had such a big effect on pop culture - I’m not so sure you can repeat that.
BMW is big on meta I’ll tell you that. I love how it’s so aware of itself. The amount of depth that it has never ceases to amaze me. It’s whole universe is so dense and huge. Every quote/storyline is so unique it sticks in your brain forever. (I swear the humour got more and more deranged every season). The show was also incredibly queer and progressive.  It didn’t give a crap about sexuality. Much more than I remember. Proof to never use ‘but it was made in the 90s’ excuse.
I loved how the show kept reinventing itself every season as Cory grew up so you really felt you were growing up with him and all the characters. The Character Development on this show was so natural/authentic. Every single character got a chance to shine. No one changed their look in one episode and no one had an intervention every time someone had an identity crisis (GMW) My favourite development was Shawn Hunter. He went from a cool kid to a ladies man to a poetic soul. It was so satisfying to watch.
I realised that Cory Matthews is actually my favourite character (before it was Eric or Shawn) I already have a special soft spot for ‘annoying’ characters because they tend to be the most memorable/real. For example, Karma Ashcroft from ‘Faking it’ was my babe while everyone was hating on her. I really related to his anxiety/self hatred about being average and I loved that he constantly made mistakes. It was very refreshing. He’s also incredibly queer-coded. I found that alot of his mannerisms make sense if you see him with extreme compulsory heterosexuality (because identity’s such as bisexual or gay couldn’t exist normally in the 90s) There are moments in the show where he literally mimics his best friend’s behaviour around girls e.g. when the class pretty much gets brainwashed by the sex ed video in ‘Boy Meets Girl’ Shawn gets asked out by a girl, making Cory jealous - which pushes him to ask out Topanga.
It’s funny how a few years of life experience can change perspectives completely because when I was sixteen (aka the same age as Cory and Topanga) watching BMW for the first time, I was mad at Amy for ‘not understanding that they were in love’ (in ‘A Walk to Pittsburg’) but now that I’m older I’m actually agreeing with her. Yeah, what do they know about love? Because all season long they were acting quite superficially.
Cory and Topanga became somewhat of a toxic couple in seasons 5 -7. Reminded me of my parents relationship because my mum gave up her chosen university to be closer to my dad and they aren’t together any more. Topanga’s love for Cory was very conditional and Cory cheated on her multiple times/openly begged for sex  (Again like my parents) And you should never be in a relationship with someone who makes you say “You make me think not so very much of myself” There are arguably much more signs of emotional abuse than love in their relationship especially from Topanga’s side. Plus their story was altered so many times to give it more basis (they retconned Shawn and Cory’s friendship to do this) I could write an essay on how Kevin and Winnie’s love story on ‘The Wonder Years’ is much more believable because it actually addresses how toxic it was and they grow apart in the end. If GMW was a realistic continuation, they would be divorced with a little girl - leave them in the 90s where they belong.
Alan and Amy were couple goals! Cory and Topanga wish that they could have what they have. Literally the definition of ‘a healthy relationship on tv that keeps thriving and over coming obstacles without big drama’. Best TV parents ever.
I loved the Matthews family; how they all had individual arcs and developments of their own. One of my favourite arcs was in season 5, when Eric and Cory were both jealous of what they ‘didn’t have’ with their dad, so Alan made an effort to give them both that they needed. Honestly, I had never seen so much healthy communication on TV before. Alan is the best father around. His whole personal arc of giving up managing a supermarket because he wasn’t passsionate about it anymore and buying a mountain store was so inspired. I found it funny that the family had more of a relationship with Shawn than Topanga.
Shawn Hunter never caught a break. It got a bit tiring. He was never allowed to be happy for five minutes. Every time he laughed or smiled, 5 years were added onto my lifespan. Why didn’t Johnathan Turner adopt him? I loved their dynamic. Why did he let him go back to his abusive father who just dumped him anyway?
Jack and Shawn’s complicated dynamic was possibly the most unique/interesting arc of the entire show and no one talks about it. I don’t care what y’all say - despite them being very different, Jack was the only one who fully took care of Shawn without second thoughts (Turner and the Matthews family had doubts)
I liked Shawn and Angela. I thought they were much better suited than Cory and Topanga. I honestly wouldn’t of minded if they ended up together even though I always had a feeling they wouldn’t. (Like I’m glad she went with her dad in the end) And considering how important they were as a interracial couple in the 90s, GMW handled that very poorly.
Shawn and Cory should of ended up together. And before you come at me with ‘it’s important to have m/m friendships without toxic masculinity’ (which is an important arguement to have) - yeah no shit there’s an entire Industry based around that/pitting women against each other. While it is important to have those friendships between men that are close and even intimate (take Chandler and Joey, Schmidt and Nick, Isak and Jonas and Jake and Charles for example) there was also another layer to their relationship which the narrative played off sometimes as them “going out” or “in love”.  I actually recently found out that a writer - who came into the show in season 3 - confirmed that she wrote gay undertones into their relationship on purpose ‘In my opinion as a writer, they thought they were “straight”, they both didn’t realise or understand their feelings for eachother’ but couldn’t deliever because the producers wanted to keep the show “kid friendly”. Kind of like Xena and Gabby. I know people prefer Jack & Eric (I love them as well) but everything got ruined for me as soon as they introduced the ‘love triangle’ and I always tend to prefer emotional tension over sexual. They were just so unconditional with each other/ their friendship was so good and healthy and now I’m so bitter that it never happened.
I never understood why Shawn and Cory had to stop being best friends after he got married. He’s not Topanga’s property. I always hated how Topanga tried to interrupt/interfere with their dynamic — although now I realise it was because the two of them purposely left her out. Looking back at it, If it really was just a intimate friendship then why would she get so easily jealous if she didn’t sense there was something else deeper going on? You should never marry someone who puts you second.
I didn’t like Topanga when she was with Cory (or vice versa) Especially after they got married. She was a great character on her own. Feminist before her time. Hermione Granger before her time. I always felt she deserved a lot better than him in a way e.g. if someone I considered a friend speard a rumour around high school that we slept together - I would never speak to that person again. SHE SHOULD OF GONE TO YALE GOD DAMN IT. And as someone pointed out the other day, if the roles were reversed some of the stuff she does or says to Cory would be considered domestic violence. ‘She’s always blaming Cory on shit that isn't even his fault or makes him feel bad or shuts down his emotions and turns it around so he's comforting her instead.’ There was even a moment in GMW (not that I consider that show a continuation) where she locks him out the house for a few days after he insulted her chicken, and his son Auggie had to bring him spaghetti. If Cory was a woman, that would not be played off as a joke - that would be considered abuse. They were however a better couple in GMW ironically.
Angela Moore is now one of my favourite characters on BMW. She was beautiful. Her friendship with Rachel (and Topanga) was the best. And I frickin’ loved her and Cory’s friendship development - when they could of easily not played into that. I hate that she got villiaized in GMW.
My favourite seasons are 4, 5 & 1. My least favourites are 3 & 2 & 7. And even then the show was still pretty darn good.
The back and fourth clash between Turner and Mr Feeny in season 2 was very entertaining.
Mr Feeny and Eric are my favourite relationship on ‘Boy Meets World’. I love how Eric was the only person that Feeny directly told that he loved him. Also, why didn’t Eric become the new Mr Feeny? He showed more traits of becoming a teacher in the show than Cory did.
Eric and Tommy was probably the most heartbreaking plot line in season 6. (That season was an emotional train wreck) I cried for a fourth time. The world doesn’t deserve him.
I loved the development of Shawn and Topanga’s friendship. Even though there was a silent competition over Cory, they eventually became good friends. I found out that the song ‘She will be loved’ was inspired by them which is awesome but it’s also proof that people ship for less if it’s an m/f dynamic - just sayin’. I however see a more convincing potiental romance with the two of them than Cory and Topanga sometimes.
On Cory and Topanga again - they weren’t a bad couple overall. I liked them in s1 - 3. They had some great moments. But upon my rewatch (getting out of that 90s idealised headspace) I found them to be too similar at times - chafing as another person put it - to the point where they cancel each other out. A lot of people pointed out that Riley and Maya paralleled them and I was thinking “That’s not nesserily a good thing.”
‘Dream. Try. Do good.’ is on my mantelpiece.

Author: Lopithecus Pairing: Hatake Kakashi/Maito Gai | Might Guy Rating: General Audiences Word Count: 2576 Alternate: AO3 Summary: Gai shows up late at night at Kakashi's apartment seeking comfort after a rough mission. Kakashi does his best to provide it. Warnings:
Hurt/Comfort
Angst
Blood
Author's Note: This is for day 7 of KakaGai Week 2020 ( @kkgweek ). I read some angsty stories before writing this one, so I was hit with the angst bug. The boys are around 11 and 12 years old here, but before Dai dies. Enjoy! Prompt: Day 7 - Free
The incessant, frantic knocking is what wakes Kakashi up from his sleep. He groans and turns to look at his clock. It's in the middle of the night, just after 1:00 am. He can't imagine who would be knocking on his door at this time.
With a tired sigh, Kakashi sits up, rubbing at his heavy eyes, feeling groggy. He throws the blanket off of him and gets up out of bed, shuffling to his door. "I'm coming," he says to the person on the other side of the door, though he knows he didn't say it anywhere near loud enough to be heard. Whoever is there is still knocking loudly. Kakashi hopes his neighbors don't complain
When he opens the door, he's met with the image of Gai standing there, blood covering his body. His eye widens at the sight, keeping the Sharingan eye closed, and his chest constricts in panic. "Gai!"
"Please don't shut the door," Gai pleads quietly, his eyes glazed over and distant. It makes something sting in Kakashi’s chest at the thought that he’s convinced Gai that he’s the type to turn him away even if it looks like he might be bleeding out in front of him.
"I…" Kakashi has never seen Gai like this, at least not in this particular situation. He's slouching in Kakashi's doorway, face flushed red, cheeks and eyes wet with tears, and snot running from his nose. He steps aside. "Come in." Gai limps into the apartment and Kakashi watches closely, trying to assess whose blood that is. "Are you hurt? Shouldn't you be at the hospital?"
Gai shakes his head, wiping his face on his blood covered arm, smearing blood all over his face. He pulls the arm back and scowls at it before his entire face turns pale and slack. "Not mine," he says absently, looking as if he's going to be sick any moment now.
"Come here," Kakashi reaches out and grabs a hold of Gai's hand, dragging him to the bathroom. He’ll have to ask him what happened later. His first priority is getting Gai cleaned up.
Once in the bathroom, Kakashi aggressively turns the shower on and then pushes Gai underneath the spray of water. Gai has gone eerily quiet and it makes Kakashi wary and uncomfortable. Usually, Gai would be speaking to him a mile a minute, and Gai not doing just that is strange. Now, Gai stands there, not moving and staring off at a distant spot on the floor, eyes glazed over once more. Kakashi watches as the blood washes off of Gai’s skin and clothes. He’s going to need a proper bath to get all the grime off.
Kakashi turns away and turns the tap on for the bathtub, letting it fill up. Steam begins to engulf the air in the room, making it hot and sticky. Kakashi finds it hard to breathe with his mask on, the stench of sweat, mud, and blood filling the air with the hot moister. When he turns back to Gai, his eyes have wandered to stare at his hands, as if he can still see the blood on them.
Kakashi has a sickening feeling he knows exactly what has happened.
He pulls Gai out of the shower by the shoulder and walks him over to the tub. He shoves Gai down onto the bath stool, preparing a basin of water and a sponge. “Gai.” Gai jumps at Kakashi’s voice but doesn’t meet his eye. His arms fall to his side, limp and dragging Gai’s entire body into a slouch.
“Gai,” Kakashi tries again, tone lower and more gentle than before. “Gai, you need to clean yourself.” There’s no response and Kakashi sighs heavily. “I’m going to take your clothes off.”
He strips Gai bare of his sandals and his legwarmers, peeling off the wet jumpsuit one sticky section at a time. He hates how it feels when he pulls it off from Gai’s skin, how it sticks to him, and how it sounds. He ignores how when it’s finally off of Gai’s body, it drips with water that is tinged pink. He throws it to the side and it lands in a corner with a loud splash.
Kakashi looks over Gai’s body for any injuries. His ankle is a bit swollen which would explain the limp and when he touches the sensitive area, Gai flinches away. It doesn’t look broken though, or at least not to the naked eye, but Kakashi has seen many broken bones and he thinks it would have swollen more than it has if it were. He probably twisted it then.
The rest of Gai’s body looks fine. Minor cuts and bruises, nothing too serious. He’s shivering now that he is naked and Kakashi turns back to the tub to turn the tap off. He grabs the sponge that has been floating in the basin of water and starts scrubbing at Gai’s skin, not even bothering to try and be gentle about it. That doesn’t matter at the moment. What matters is getting Gai into the bathtub so he can warm up.
Kakashi scrubs and scrubs and scrubs, until the water in the basin is a mixture of brown from dirt and pink with blood. Gai’s skin turns a bright red in irritation as Kakashi tries his damndest to tear the tainted flesh off of Gai’s bones, rubbing it completely raw. He starts to bleed, some of the cuts on his body opening back up.
Gai’s body is nothing but a child’s and Kakashi has to swallow against the thought that he hates seeing it like this. Kakashi’s body is a child’s as well, but he’s been doing this a lot longer than Gai. He’s already a Jonin. His body has already been marred and broken and dirtied from the deaths dealt by Kakashi’s hands.
Gai’s body needs to stay perfect for as long as possible.
“Get in the tub,” Kakashi orders, dropping the sponge into the basin. The water splashes onto Kakashi’s bare feet. He pays it no mind as Gai lifelessly stands from the stool and stumbles into the bathtub, almost falling face first when he trips. Kakashi catches him, keeping a hand on his arm as Gai lowers himself into the water. “Be careful, you idiot.”
Gai doesn’t react to the scolding. He sits there, staring at the water, shivering uncontrollably. Kakashi frowns. “Stay there.”
He goes over and picks up Gai’s abandoned clothes, ringing them out and then carrying them out of the bathroom. He’s not entirely sure if Gai has a special way of washing his clothes but Kakashi doesn’t care. He needs them to be cleaned and Gai isn’t in any shape to tell him how to do it. He throws them into the washing machine, sandals and all, and deposits the detergent into the machine. He then starts it up, using the quick cycle, and watches as it spins to life.
He stands there for several minutes, gathering himself and the strength he needs to continue to help Gai. He goes into his bedroom and digs around in his closet. Gai is a little bigger than he is since he’s older but Kakashi’s own clothes are all he has so they will have to do. He pulls out a sweatshirt and sweatpants, lying them down onto his bed. Kakashi then goes back to the bathroom, taking a deep breath to ground himself, before entering.
Gai is still sat obediently in the tub. As Kakashi approaches, he’s happy to see the shivering has ceased and he’s looking more aware than before. “Gai?” Kakashi asks, hesitantly. Gai turns to face him but doesn’t say anything. “It’s time to get out.”
He helps Gai out, Gai wincing as he puts pressure on his ankle. Kakashi is going to have to wrap it but first, he needs to get Gai dressed. He lets Gai lean on him as they make their way to Kakashi’s bedroom. Kakashi assists Gai with drying himself off and then gently helps Gai on to the bed so that he is sitting on the edge. He slips the clothes onto him, murmuring an apology for the size. Gai mumbles that it’s okay. His voice is still too soft and timid.
“I’m going to wrap your ankle.” Kakashi grabs the bandages off his side table. Normally, they would be kept in the bathroom but Kakashi has gotten into the habit of leaving them by his bed for easy access. That way when he gets home from a long and hard mission, when he’s too exhausted to crawl his way to the bathroom, he can still bandage himself up.
Kakashi wraps up Gai’s ankle and is self-conscious of Gai’s eyes watching him. He wonders if Gai is judging his bandaging skills and is thinking he can do better than Kakashi. Kakashi almost wishes Gai would go back to being catatonic just so he would stop looking at Kakashi like that. When he’s done, Kakashi gives the ankle a once over to make sure he’s satisfied with his work.
Happy with the bandages, Kakashi stands. “You can rest in my bed,” he says, in a way that Gai knows to not argue with him. Although, Kakashi isn’t so sure Gai would have it in him to do that anyway.
He nods and lies down, allowing Kakashi to pull the blanket up to his chin. Kakashi looks at the time. It’s already almost 3:30 and suddenly, Kakashi is glad he doesn’t have a mission to go to later. He’s going to be exhausted and he’s not sure how Gai will be in a few hours, if he’ll still need him.
He turns to walk away from the bed when Gai catches him by the wrist. “Please don’t leave me.” He sounds like he might start crying again. If he does, Kakashi isn’t sure how to handle that.
“I’ve got to change my clothes. They’re all wet.” He tugs his wrist out of Gai’s grasp and walks away, ignoring how Gai’s breath hitches. Maybe he’s going to start panicking again.
Kakashi changes in the bathroom. While in there, he drains the bathtub and watches as the water swirls until it’s all gone. He throws his own wet clothes into the same corner Gai’s had been in previously. He’ll deal with them later. For now, he goes and switches Gai’s clothes to the dryer, leaving Gai’s sandals out to air dry. He then makes his way back to where Gai is lying.
His face is buried into Kakashi’s pillow, soft muffled whimpers escaping from his throat. Kakashi’s chest constricts again and he walks over to the other side of the bed, pulling the covers back, and slipping in under them. He scoots closer over to Gai and wraps his arms around his waist, pulling the slightly larger boy flush against him.
He’s shivering again.
Kakashi hates it.
“Gai.” Gai curls in on himself at his name, knees drawing up and into the fetal position. “What happened?”
“Bad mission,” it’s all Kakashi gets out of him and Kakashi squeezes his middle.
“Tell me more.” Gai stays silent. “Now,” he demands, acting as the commanding Jonin that he should be despite the physical position they are currently in.
A violent shudder runs through Gai and Kakashi nuzzles into the back of his neck to try and help calm him. It’s what his ninken do and it always seems to help Kakashi. Why not Gai?
“We…” Gai sniffles and raises a hand to wipe at his face. He then wipes his hand on Kakashi’s sheets but Kakashi can’t be mad at him for it. After all, Kakashi has done the same many times. “We had no choice. We were attacked, Kakashi, and we… I…” he trails off again.
“Are you going to be sick?” Kakashi asks, feeling the heat coming off of Gai in waves. His body is covered in a cold sweat. So much for getting cleaned.
Gai shakes his head but Kakashi isn’t so sure he’s telling the truth. He sits up. “Hold on.” He gets out of bed, wanders to his kitchen, and grabs a large bowl. He brings it back to the bedroom and places it on the floor next to Gai. “Just in case,” he says, crawling back in beside Gai. He resumes his previous position, with Gai’s back pressed close to Kakashi’s chest. “Continue,” he orders.
Gai straightens his legs and they brush against Kakashi’s, feet tangling together. “We weren’t prepared. We weren’t sent out to fight. Chōza-sensei wasn’t with us because… because we’re Chunins now.” Gai has been a Chunin for at least a year. He should be used to Chōza-san not going with him on missions by now and Kakashi knows that’s not why he said that.
“We’ve fought before. Of course, we have,” Gai carries on. “But this… this was different. This was… Kakashi, we had to.”
“Had to what?” Kakashi prompts even though he already knows the answer. The first time he had to, he wasn’t any better off than Gai is now.
“Kill,” Gai says the word quietly. Too quietly. He then promptly doubles over and throws up into the bowl Kakashi had set near him, regurgitating any food pills and vitamins he might have taken on his mission.
Kakashi grimaces at the sound but rubs at Gai’s straining back soothingly. It doesn’t last long. Gai probably had a mostly empty stomach to begin with. Kakashi debates getting up to grab Gai a glass of water but when he looks at the boy, lying once more beside him, and seeing just how young and small he is, he can’t bring himself to leave him again.
Instead, he nudges Gai back onto his side and pulls him closer, squeezing Gai’s body up against him so that they are lying the way they were before. Kakashi stabs his nose into the back of Gai’s neck, breathing him in, and letting him weep and shake in his arms without saying a word. Eventually, Gai does calm and goes limp. His legs are intertwined with Kakashi’s. Neither of them makes to move them.
Kakashi thinks about asking Gai why he had come to him instead of going home where Dai could take care of him but he doesn’t have to. He already knows the answer. It’s the same reason why Kakashi never goes to Minato-sensei whenever he has a tough mission that leaves him crumpled on the floor in the corner, feeling like dying.
Kakashi doesn’t blame Gai for not wanting his father to see him like this. Dai is special. He’s innocent like a child who goes to the playground and runs up the slide to his friends. That innocence needs to be protected.
Gai would stain and defile it if he went to him now.
Kakashi’s already ruined so he will take that burden on for Dai and for Gai. He’ll take the disgust and the anger and the mental exhaustion. He’ll entrap whatever Gai is feeling at the moment, take it away from Gai, and pull it into himself instead. That way, when the sun rises, Gai can go back home to his father as if nothing had happened. That way Gai can be okay, or as okay as he’ll ever be from now on, and Dai will be none the wiser.
That way, Dai doesn’t have to have his own innocence destroyed like theirs.
