“Hyoga, can we stop for a moment?” You heave out before looking up at him.

He hums, looking back at you. Not being straight up ignored was enough proof he was considering it.

“We have plenty of time? We’re running ahead of schedule.” You give him a look, hoping that’ll help push your usually cold boyfriend towards getting in a hot spring with you, or at least letting you get in.

“I’m aware of that.” He says simply, turning towards you. You go to say another word, but he’s already pulling off his cloak. You nod, and turn away from him to take your clothes off too before slipping in the hot spring. Hyoga isn’t the type of guy to be bothered with separating the hot spring for respect of either of your privacy.

You, on the other hand, are starting to think the hot water isn’t the only reason you’re feeling hot.

“Ahh, my muscles and joints already feel soooo much better.” You sigh, closing your eyes. “I don’t know why Senku had only the two of us go…”

“We’re capable.” Hyoga hums. You nod quickly, humming back.

“Yes, you more than I.”

“You know the way better.” He smiles and your heart stops for a second. The smile doesn’t look snarky or mocking this time. It doesn’t matter if he’s smiled like that to you before, it never stops shocking you to your core. You two don’t get much alone time, and even then he’s rarely affectionate. He’d never smile like that to or in front of anyone else, so this is a rare sight.

“I suppose I do know it quite well.” You finally speak up, pulling your knees up to your chest, smiling.

“Don’t get sappy.” He scowls a bit, causing you to laugh a bit louder than you mean to. He grumbles at that. “We should get going.” He stands to leave, and you react quickly by grabbing his wrist.

“We have plenty of time… Hyo.” The sight of his sculpted body seems to put an influence on your tone of voice, putting an emphasis on an implication you never meant to be there. Yet, you realize now, maybe you are a bit frustrated from the lack of intimacy you two have had in a while.

“Oh?” He smirks, hand moving under your chin, and flicking it up with his thumb so you’ll look up at his face, not wherever else you were looking. “And what are you suggesting we use this time for?”

“It’s been a while…” You say softly, gulping because you know he’s got you right where he wants you.

Hyoga. He’s shocked, but he doesn’t show it at all. Maybe his cheeks get a little pink, but he does not fumble. He probably asks you what you did that for, depending on who you are, it may be laced with danger or may not.

Ryusui. He might just admittedly pull you into a full blown kiss tbh. He’d tell you he loves you. He’s not scared. And he’s not lying either.

Hyoga’s S/O Overworking Themself

Okay. I wrote about like when you do something so much, you can’t do anything that isn’t it. Like that time I played 2048 so much I played it in my dreams too. Or how I play just dance so much, I have to pull myself away from it and I dream of playing it too.

I honestly think if Hyoga likes you, he’s like meanly nice. If that makes sense. He’ll give advice in shit in a harsh tone. Sometimes, it’s hard not to throw in insults but I think if he respects somebody, he’s not the type to call them anything other than proper so…

Tirelessly, for days now, you’ve worked on your form, technique, style, everything. You can’t get yourself to settle down to sleep because every time you try, you just feel the ghost of the spear in your hands. When you do close your eyes to try, you see yourself trying again. If you fall asleep, even for a second, you dream of sparring.

So you stand throughout the night, practicing on a dummy you built to practice on. You spin the spear, your hands tiring now. Sure, the bamboo doesn’t spin, but moving the spear to spin is wearing on your hands with every hit. Your grip is growing weak. Not to mention, you’re undeniably tired, but you just can’t stop.

Sometimes, when you think to stop, maybe finally being able to focus on something else, you think about what Hyoga would say if you do bad when you spar with him the next day. You’ve got to get it perfect unless you want your boyfriend to be disappointed. He takes so much pride in the Owari Kan style.

Even if it’s hard to tell, he takes so much pride and is so happy that his s/o is learning the technique from him. You can’t mess that up for him.

The next day, after less than 2 hours of sleep, you meet up with your boyfriend for a sparring session. It’s early morning, the sun is just now rising behind him. You’ve been sparring for a few minutes now, but the sun helps him realize something. You have bruises littering your body. Bruises, callouses, cuts cover your hands. A finger or two on each hand was wrapped up in bandages. Between that and the sunken in eye bags from your lack of proper sleep, he can’t believe he didn’t notice.

He waits until the end of what you were both currently working on. He tells you to just take a water break, but he watches you carefully the entire time. When you go to move back for your spear, he calmly stops you.

“If you can’t do it properly, don’t do it at all.” He says, smiling behind his mask. The look on your face tells him he shouldn’t have worded it that way. He’s not the kind of man to backtrack and stumble over his words to correct himself or anything, so he calmly adds, “Take a break. Proper rest is important.”

You finally realize what he means as color returns to your face. “But I n—”

“No. How much sleep did you get?” He asks, taking the spear from you. He stares at you, expression almost blank. It’s hard to tell what he’s thinking, but a part of you thinks he may be… worried?

“About 5 hours.” You shrug.

“Don’t lie.” He warns, which draws a groan from you. You look up, meeting his eyes briefly.

“I think a bit less than 2?” He simply nods at this.

“And how many times have I told you to wear gloves?” He asks, staring blankly.

“Several.” You mutter.

“And that’s for a reason. Yuzuriha can make you gloves.” He says sternly, eyes opening and flicking up to meet yours. “That’s the proper way.”

“Yes. I’ll do it the proper way.” You smile, finally realizing what he’s doing. Sure, it’s unconventional, probably rude in most people’s eyes, but that’s the softest he gets. Or maybe not. You can’t help but wonder if he’s got a super soft side you won’t get to see until you’re like married or something. That’s a question for later though, you confer as he tells you to go lie down and get some rest.

WHO WOULD BE THE BEST girldad FATHER?

1. Tsukasa! Gained experience from Mirai and is the best when they have tantrums

2. Ryusui! Absolutely adores every little thing his kid does and will buy anything they need and want

3. Gen! Has gotten used to the children of Ishigami village and uses his physiological techniques to help with anything they need

4. Chrome! He loves taking his kid and adventures and teaching them new stuff, definitely more on the boydad tho.

5. Senku! Even though he would be more of a boy coded type of dad. He will endure being petrified again for his kid

Okay, bc listen. I agree with you on Hyoga… he would not be the best dad… girl, boy, whatever. He’s fed up. He’s not like abusive or anything, necessarily, but maybe a tiny bit annoyed to the point he’ll be just a little neglectful. He’d pass the child off to his partner when he’s annoyed. He’s not helping you reel in the kid, he’s pretending he doesn’t know y’all. (Me personally, I don’t mind cuz I don’t really want kids) he’s not horrible, but he’s not the most desirable man to have as a husband and a dad. I agree completely, honestly. I’d say I’d put Ukyo pretty high if I were to add him. Maybe between Ryusui and Gen. I think archery is a gender neutral sport and he’d likely spend some time teaching his kid to shoot a bow properly and safely. He’d be a good girl dad. I can see him being willing to play with Barbies, play school, whatever. I mean he’s a teacher in the stone world so… of course. He’ll be the student if she wants. He’s a good dad either way, boy or girl, but I can see him more with a little girl than boy.

Best to worst at Oral

I might be a little biased, but I try not to be. My fav usually lands low in my defense sooo. (My fav is Hyoga…. But I also love Ryusui soooo)

4. Chrome, his baking is always either burnt and undercooked..

5. Hyoga, Definitely couldn’t bother putting work onto baking.

6. Senku..like we all seen how he messed up the biscuits.

This is just my opinion, might send more of different topics! 🧇

Lemme add my opinions for a quick seconddd, and add on a few more characters. Hear me out: there is somebody worse than Senku lol.

Dr. Stone Characters, Best to Worst: BAKING

1. Like you said, Francois. No brainer. Francois can bake bread, cake, whatever with their eyes closed and hands tied behind their back (who tf knows how but they can, better believe it)

2. Hear me out, Ukyo. I think I’d put Ukyo here. I’m a sucker for the idea of him actually being a fairly good cook and baker. I know he mentions nothing of the sort, but he gives me domestic hubbie vibes, yk?

3. Tsukasa. Probably cooked for his sister when she was conscious. And occasionally, maybe baked. So I think he would have a decent handle on it.

4. Gen. Not bad, not great. The food comes out edible. He can bake cookies and cake and it tends to keep shape and be tasty. He’s also a quick learner, so he can easily learn from the others or Francois.

5. Ruri. I just think that she could do anything she puts her mind to. Gives me the vibes. I think she’s the type to make something for the first time and it comes out great. And her baking is rather consistent. Learned quickly from everybody else.

6. Chrome. The baking is starting to get… questionable. He can figure it out, but it’ll come out burnt about half the time. Always burnt on his first attempt, then undercooked the second. Trial and error. He’s working on it.

7. Hyoga. Just… doesn’t care. Why is he baking? It doesn’t turn out BAD, but he kind of just walked away for a while and came back when he felt like it. Somehow, they usually turn out edible, but not great. Unless, somebody else takes them out the oven for him (Francois)

8. Ryusui. Burns the food. Never learned how to cook… despite having a butler so good at it. If he knows anything, it’s from them, but that’s about it. He usually leaves it up to them.

9. Senku. Everybody is convinced he put inedible rocks into the oven instead of food.

10.Kohaku. The kitchen is now in flames. The bread is burnt beyond redemption or recognition. She did something to aggressively or something? Got impatient? Idk.
