princess
[Image Description: two digital drawings of Princess Bubblegum from
Adventure Time drawn in different, original outfits.
Princess Bubblegum is a young woman with light-pink skin and long pink hair that goes down to her knees. She wears a thin, golden crown that wraps around her head with a single point at the center of her forehead that rises up.
All of her garments are also pink.
The first drawing depicts Princess Bubblegum wearing a pencil skirt with a second skirt above it that fans out like a tutu. She also wears a stiff blazer with puffy shoulder pads, a blouse, and a brooch. She has wide boots that go just above her knees. Princess Bubblegum stands straight with her gloved hands tucked behind her back.
The second drawing depicts Princess Bubblegum wearing a set of striking, militaristic robes with a cowl that flares out around her neck and long, flapping sleeves. There are long slits up the sides of the robe for mobility. Princess Bubblegum stands with one hand on her hips, glaring sternly.

Make 2023 Your Year of Change
The only way to change is through action. You can lay down on your bed with a bag of chips on your tummy all you want but the change happens when you get up and take action. The body you dream of, the life, the career, the friends... They all happen with dedication and hard work.
I have been lying to myself for a very long time and it is hard to accept. When I look back on my 'January Goals' list or my '2022 Goals' list, I see that I've only achieved a few things. I don't wanna discredit myself though, I made progress. I've got braces and I'm about to complete my treatment, I've got rid of my acne and blackheads completely.
However, I know I'm not even close to my potential. I know that I can achieve so much more yet I just don't. That's my fault. I've been calling my laziness depression and that's a very dangerous thing to do because you become comfortable with not doing anything. You blame something that is outside of your control and you have a good excuse. But I started to realize that I'm just hiding behind excuses.
HOW TO REACH YOUR FULL POTENTIAL
Actively decide what's good for you.
Be mindful of the things that you do. You have to do this everyday. For example, I'm trying to quit drinking so much tea because of my sleeping problems. So every single morning, I have to actively decide on not drinking a second cup of tea. I eventually have to do that at night as well.
Don't skip a day but if you do start again.
Missing a few days, or a few weeks, or a few months is better than completely giving up. So try to apply your habits everyday but if you can't, don't think much about it and start again the next day.
Social media is your second biggest enemy.
If you are a gen z like me then you probably waste a ridiculous amount of time on your phone, scrolling through Instagram, Pinterest, Tiktok, Youtube etc. then at night, you wonder why you have so little time during the day. It's not rocket science. I have wasted almost 31 hours on my phone this week. I don't even wanna know how much higher that number would be if we added my laptop screen time as well. That's 31 hours that I could've spent learning Korean, reading, studying...
You are your biggest enemy.
Realize that you are the reason why you are not able to reach your full potential. Study your own behaviours and habits and find out why you k-word your own beautiful future.
Confidence, confidence, confidence.
Even if you don't have any confidence in yourself, in your dreams and in your future, lie to yourself babes. Gaslight yourself. Tell yourself that you are beautiful and that you are talented and that you can achieve everything you put your mind to, even if you don't believe that. Your mind will look for evidence for all the things you say to it. If you say that you are ugly, you'll find out that, you are, in fact, ugly.
Comfort is a myth, challenge yourself.
If you stay where you are because it is too comfy, you won't achieve sh*t, sweetheart. Put yourself in uncomfortable situations. Embrass yourself. Say the wrong things and do the wrong things. Don't care about what people think, they don't think about you anyways. Push yourself and push your limits. Always aim for the hard thing, not the easy one. You'll become a whole new person once you realize that you can actually achieve all those things you thought you couldn't.
Don't overthink.
The only thing you need to do is to take action. You can make lists all you want. You can write down the books that you need to read but the only way to achieve that goal is to actually read. So don't think about it too much. Planning is good, lists are even better but don't forget your actual goal in the process.
Don't discredit yourself.
Things take time. The fact that your are working on it is already good. Celebrate yourself when you achieve 1% of a goal and don't burden yourself thinking about the remaining 99%.
Failing and bad moods are a part of the journey.
You are not going to be able give your best every single day. That is only natural. Some day are going to be more depressing than the others and some days you are going to feel like you can conquer the world. Both are equal. So, don't let feelings get in the way. Focus.
Good luck babes. I am rooting for you all! I hope that at the end of 2023 we can get together and see how much we have achieved during the year. Love ya'll!
