man its so fucked that im not being called a pretty boy every single day of my life bc i am cute !!!!!

#wind howls #i think i have a pretty nose. and pretty eyes #the more i reread this post the more its fading but i went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and i felt cute.#i also think i may just. be going a little stir crazy. im going out about the city tomorrow with my sibling just to try n get some air #i was gonna go on my own but i think itd probably make me feel a little miserable. i dont like being on my own.#i dont need any more reasons to feel more lonely than i already do. the company will be something at least #or so i hope. things get rocky sometime but my sibling is fine when theyre in a good mood #and hey maybe ill find places that are hiring nearby. places where i can sit and still work yknow. i hope so at least..

okaaaaaay. ranking the library's floors based on how nice it would be to take a nap there. graded by ambiance and comfort. trying not to let too many of my own biases shine through but also no promises. im sleepy. ok 👍

> Lobby/Halls: im counting it because itd be funny. the ambiance is not unlike a hotel hallway; kind of really unsettling in its uniformity and undefinedness, but it Does make you sleepy if youre brave enough to risk it. feels like there'd be a chaser monster in there. and there is, if you count angela, i guess. 5/10 ambience. im pretty sure it is like 60-70% stairs if you look at it, which is deeply funny. where do the stairs go. i guess the better question is where Don't the stairs go. there are also no chairs or Anything; just bookshelves and lamps. its pretty clear you arent supposed to be in there long. dim lighting's pretty nice at least. 3/10 comfort. VERDICT: 4/10. At least it's got presentation.

> Floor of General Works: the vibe is pretty nice, if you can get past feeling like a tree on a prairie. a hawk could swoop in and snatch you or something. the towers of books could be kinda comforting for the right people, though. 4/10 ambiance. this is books. 3/10 comfort. VERDICT: 3.5/10. Don't Fall Off.

> Floor of History: its pretty busy, but the kind of busy where it just kinda turns into comforting background noise. its like the equivalent of having on cafe noises to study or sleep to. less of a "lulling you to sleep" sort of deal and more of a "i am so tired i could literally pass out sitting up." and then you do. might be a little much, but if you can find a nice corner somewhere it might be refreshing. nice little power nap. 7/10 ambiance. not Really the most conducive to taking a nap physically-- best you've got is facedown on the desk. which, honestly, isnt too bad. theyre nice desks. could make yourself a little hidey hole with the books sitting around. just be careful not to let anyone spot you. 7/10 comfort. VERDICT: 7/10. Respectably cozy for a quick pick-me-up.

> Floor of Technological Sciences: the light from the windows is probably jarring as hell, but away from that is pretty nice honestly. a bit uniform for my own liking, but the dim light looks like it'd do wonders. cant imagine how anyone doesn't already get sleepy working in there. 7/10 ambiance. the geaaaarrrsssss.... good luck getting any actual sleep with That nonsense going on 24/7. also i dont think theres a Single non-90 degree angle in the entire floor besides the gears, (which you Really shouldnt be sleeping near,) which i cant imagine does anyone's backs any favors. not a single good desk in sight beyond yesods, and i dont think hed take kindly to sharing this way. also that is the most uncomfortable looking couch i have ever seen. 2/10 comfort. VERDICT: 4.5/10. Almost, buddy. Bring your own pillow. And earplugs.

> Floor of Literature: the little ceiling lights are absolutely Lovely. could argue for it being too bright, but honestly that's an easy fix. its comfy in the way a school library is-- honestly one of the more inviting floors to be on. its practically Begging for a nap tbh. very neat and comfortable. 8/10 ambiance. girl how small is that table???? even with leniency for art style with the size, the chair backs barely reach th edge of the table. looks like youd be ppppretty squished sleeping there. doesn't look like theres many other notable spots to sneak your way into either, so its the table or the floor. one way or another you are waking up as if youve been hit by a truck. 3/10 comfort. VERDICT: 5.5/10. Very polite and comfy, but oh Man is that gonna mess you up later.

> Floor of Art: YEAH BABEY!!!!! very dim but with several soft light sources, the loose and comfortable feel of the place-- this is what its all about honestly. the paintings and such are a nice touch as well. chances are, no ones gonna really bat an eye if they catch you asleep here. it just feels like the place for it. the natural look must be very nice after everything, too. 9/10 ambiance. those floorboards are Going to kill you. cant imagine trying to walk in there without tripping. not a lot of obvious places to set up, but if youre feeling brave you can probably nest up in a pile of books somewhere. on the other hand, theres probably all sorts of little spaces and nooks to tuck into if youre crafty. as someone who would enjoy sleeping in a cabinet, can approve. 6/10 comfort. VERDICT: 7.5/10. He gets a 10/10 in MY heart. Taking that back pain like a CHAMP.

> Floor of Natural Sciences: the same kind of comfort as an old ladys guest room. aka i Wish i could take a nap there. only caveat is the blinding light coming in from pretty much everywhere. its like trying to sleep with an open curtain, but like... all the time. looks like itd smell nice in there, at least. 7/10 ambiance. has actually comfy-looking chairs! seems like thered be a few places you could manage to tuck into comfortably in a corner someplace with a cushion or something. also one of (maybe the only?) floors that actually has carpeting! so no getting woken up by footsteps, or having to sleep on floorboards. 7/10 comfort. VERDICT: 7/10. Probably like sleeping in a sunbeam. Equally disorienting when Tiph inevitably gets at you for slacking off.

> Floor of Language: its kinda scruffy looking, but if youre not bothered by that it looks like it might be pretty comforting actually. i wont explain. lightings pretty nice as long as youre not looking directly out the window. soundscape might not be horrible, its a bit of a coinflip with the industrial look though. caveat? cigarette smoke... 7/10 ambiance. Comfy! Looking! COUCH!!! you Are passing out on that thing whether you want to or not. also you could probably have a nice time tucking up against the windowsill if you can handle the brightness. might even be warm. im kinda surprised actually. 8/10 comfort. VERDICT: 7.5/10. I could swear I've fallen asleep here before. Minus the um. Lava. But you get what I mean.

> Floor of Social Sciences: this place looks like a memory. this is the type of sleep youd get where youre briefly kinda disoriented on where you are for a while. ive gotta imagine the water sounds pretty nice too. and the coffee smells! can you imagine?? theres probably all sorts of small talk going on in the background, just a few people stopping by here and there to exchange pleasantries over a drink. i gotta stop here, i Will just keep going. 10/10 ambiance. i need to bump this up at least a little due to the theme alone. im listening while writing these and the sheer wave of peace it always brings is indescribable. howeverrrrr... return of The Couch. you Cannot convince me that thing is made of any sort of remotely soft material. at least its got pillows. on the other hand, you get good windowsill access (REALLY good windowsill too,) AND bar access. must be nice to find a quiet corner in, too. 8/10 comfort. VERDICT: 9/10. Is anyone honestly surprised. (But still, jeez dude.)

> Floor of Philosophy: the dim lighting AND the ceiling stars??? dude... its a bit quiet, but quiet in the way a classroom is after-hours. a silent sort of welcoming. if youre able, Nothing is going to bother you in there. this is where you go to Rest. 9/10 ambiance. girl there is NOWHERE to sleep. other than like the table. also is that just... water? on the floor? i appreciate the aesthetic deeply, but um. i dont think thats very nap conducive. the floor is probably wood but it looks almost like stone with how its shaped. cant imagine your back would thank you after that one. table's not too bad at least. 6/10 comfort. VERDICT: 7.5/10. The equivalent of passing out in a therapist's office. Hope you're ready for an in-depth personal conversation when you wake up.

> Floor of Religion: this looks like a principals office. cant shake the feeling of mild yet stern disapproval coming from this place. on the other hand, it Does feel Very secure. id imagine thered be at least faint clock ticking-- That has to be pretty nice. if youre the right person, i guess. the occasional ceiling light is pretty nice, but its already pretty bright in there. youll fall asleep in here and either feel like no time has passed at all after several hours or feel like its been an eternity after 5 minutes. no in-between. 5/10 ambiance. there is Nowhere to Sleep. maybe the stairs if youre cool with having to sleep against the railing, but also that Is a tripping hazard, and nobody likes a tripping hazard. has a similar problem to yesods floor, in that everything is Very straight-laced and proper, meaning there is like... nowhere comfortable to sit. other than like one desk and a table or two maybe. 3/10 comfort. VERDICT: 4/10. I'd say you rank better in my heart, but this is honestly about as expected. in conclusion: chesed's floor once again remaining the people's favorite. if you need me ill be tucked into a cubby at netzie's. come get me in like 3 hours or so, i will almost Certainly get stuck up there. ok 👍

I've beat inscryption but kaycees mod is beating my absolute ass! I cannot for the life of me beat it even once!! Give pro strats pls... (also I love your art so so much obviously but I also think it'd be fun to ask you about the game itself if that's ok!!! :,D)

ofc id be happy to talk about the game itself!! dont feel bad about losing to kmod its very hard on purpose because kaycee likes inflicting pain!

first of all, i learned a lot of lifesaving strats/tricks from this little fanmade kmod wiki! it gives pros/cons for each starter deck and goes into detail about how hand manipulation works and stuff, check it out for sure

that said the most important things to do are:

keep a small deck, especially try not to have more than one or two 1-blood cost cards or free cards

have a big damage card that can 1-hit KO leshy on the first turn (5 damage until you get the challenge that starts you off with 1 damage on your side, then this card should do 6 damage)

those rules probably arent as important when youre just starting and the challenges arent too bad, but eventually leshy is gonna pull a bifurcated turkey vulture on his first turn when you turn the heat up down the road so itd be wise to get into the rhythm early. im assuming you only have vanilla deck unlocked, so try buffing the wolf with bifurcated or at a good campfire

you want to keep your deck small so you can reliably pull your win card preferably on the first turn, when you have too much useless crap like pelts or extra 1-blood costs, theyre going to be pulled in your starting hand and you wont be able to do enough damage in time.

its wise to have at least two 1-Hit-KO win cards to prepare for the prospector since he wipes your board after phase one, and having a backup is valuable when you cant trim down your deck enough

try to avoid map nodes that give you cards, and try to aim for map nodes that will take away cards (or otherwise wont give you new ones). use the campfire to try and get rid of cards you dont want, try to fail cave challenges, dont buy pelts from trapper (buy his knife instead if you can), etc. if a campfire doesnt kill your card you can also exit to menu and re-enter the game to have it buff your preferred card instead lol. and if youre forced to pick a cost card, go with 3-blood cost. if youre forced to pick a family card, try to get one that you can fuse with your win card at mycos. again, you can always exit/re-enter start menu to see what your other options are

that said, ive started doing something on my own that i havent seen mentioned anywhere, and its making sure to use an item in battle if backpack is your next node, to prevent yourself from getting packrats from having a full inventory. im sure theres a strat where you can get a bunch of rats to fuse at mycos but it isnt worth it imo

that, and also try to have at least one item that can instantly kill/remove a card from leshy's board before you fight final boss leshy, like the hook, trapper knife, or scissors. ideally you want to kill his moleman so you can use your KO card before he pulls out prospector and wipes your board and things get hairy. there is a guaranteed backpack node before you fight leshy, you can actually exit and re-enter game to make sure you get the item you want if you dont feel bad about it lol (magickal bleach works against the moleman too but you have to unlock this)

getting your KO card is easier once you unlock the Blood deck (its the first you unlock i believe, after 1-2 challenges) cause it gives you a goat and moose! try to buff that moose at least once, maybe give the goat a good sigil like undying, fecundity or hoarder (hoarder can be a lifesaver if your deck is too big, its the sigil magpie has) or otherwise you can sacrifice the mole to the goat at an early sacrifice stone

This has nothing to do with any other comments you have made about feral Gabriel or any other desire to see how he changes from The Gilded Nightingale to The Nightingale.

ive been really trying to think about that hard, since comparing the characters to those in fairytales and ballets tended to skew the story a bit.

and uh... my descriptions wont be the best.. im not the best at explaining things in ballet terms moreso just based on my perception of the art form and what i see in it through my eyes.

also im gonna go off of the concept that ultradanse is almost like a stage performance, a show

the most i can do to describe how it looks is to compare it to my vision for the first encounter with Odile/V1... because of the way i designed his lil costume he has a sort of princely look, and even though hes yknow. out to kill V1 because V1 traversed past his warnings, his dancing with V1 then is much more... poised. it might feel a bit distant, maybe it might even seem like hes unsatisfied doing it, as at the time there is no personal connection with V1, no love nor hatred. its not romantic, hardly so. i dont know if this is a good example, but i was thinking abt Prince Siegfried's dancing in Waltz: Tempo di valse...

once V1 is pretty much responsible for his 2-week notice, i like to think Nightingale/Gabriel starts to match V1's high energy, his grace is kinda going out the window... itd be much more intense. if its a pas de deux hes probably getting his fucking hands all over them like hes about to tear them apart. hes abandoning that princely facade. i feel like though in the second half a pas de deux between them would make them slow their pace. now that both of them are dancing together and able to match intensity, it starts to slow down into something more... romantic? yeah :3 i like to think this, this is where any romantic tension starts

now about how he changes from the gilded nightingale to the nightingale. you see... after their second encounter, Gabriel is convinced hes going to die, after all thats what he was told. once he returns from heaven, he seeks out V1 to ask of one final request. he doesn't want to die lonely, and asks V1 to dance with him until the final hour runs out. V1 has no reason to accept his request, other than something pulling at it do so and the possibility it could take a little bit more blood before he's gone. dancing together, progressively Gabriel becomes weaker and weaker.

i REALLY wanted to keep this secret for a scene i wanted to draw but honeeesttlyyyy i dont think its too bad if i share it. after all, im not sharing V1's feelings here. im sharing Gabriel's :3

i had this whole.. plan

my thing abt pas de deuxs is that. i like to find symbolism in the fact that traditionally, the male dancer is supposed to support the ballerina to be able to perform moves she typically wouldnt be able to on her own without someone holding her.

towards the end of their dance, V1 switches positions to hold and uplift Gabriel instead, who has this entire time been in the place of the male dancer. in his approaching final moments V1 lays him down on the ground. he's hardly moving, and V1 holds onto him, finding itself not wanting him to just... disappear.

now im still figuring out HOW i want this to work. but i thought abt V1 in desperation, grasping onto the sides of his helmet and ripping his helmet in half being the symbolic thing that sets him free. the thing about the gilded nightingale, is that the armor is the bird's cage. Gabriel's design in this AU only really has the helmet and no other armor, so it just... makes sense to me. this is what sets him free. how the transformation works though? i am.. still thinking about it. you might need to give me a bit to think about that

i am going to dump a bit of lore on your doorstep (by copy and pasting smth i wrote on discord a few days ago) so i can give context to something i have drawn

disclaimer: it may be long and wordy. but thats what its all about baby

"in short i finally figured out how Arthur gets their name.

so to preface this i must offer. context. be warned this is gonna be one of those Rambles.

before we begin, i am debating on whether or not i should keep the 'arthur possessing gidget' thing, change it to where they possess chip (?), or get rid of it... my reasoning being: i think it makes more sense for arthur to be closer to chip especially cuz they end up as siblings in the end, ALSO i dont remember why gigi had to be the one that was possessed and i think the story would work just fine if it was somebody else.

in fact itd probably work even better with chip not only bc the theming of Being In The Wrong Body and everyone claiming u r somebody youre not works even better if its with chip, it also works cuz chip in the story is frequently like... whats the word. overlooked. or not taken seriously.

but anyways:

two, there is a plot point sometime during chip & gidget's stay in the castelle manor in which everyone but chip is trapped inside a dream by moonlight (in the waking world they are all asleep & cant wake up) bc she is searching their dreams in order to find Arthur (and kill them)

hopefully that doesnt sound. too convoluted. ah. anyways. something something chip teams up w arthur to enter their dreams and wake them up. i think.

i think probably arthur was either forced into going w chip or he agreed relunctantly, but (assuming he is still possessing someone) chip asks arthur if they can see his real face. and he agrees but in a way that makes it clear he is Lying

they wake up in (.....i dont think i have a solid name for this place yet. i think i called it Space 2 in my lore doc for the bit but i think itll be called 'otherside')

and Arthur just looks like a weird version of [whoever they were possessing at the time.] chip comments on it and art's like 'oh you mean my REAL REAL face yeah ok let me. um.' (they change into an exact copy of chip.) 'Better?'

at this point it is becoming clear that arthur might not have a 'real face,' but chip doesnt know that yet

meanwhile there is some chatter between the two, w arthur passively explaining who Midnight and Moonlight are. ALSO there is a fun fact i think about moonlight canonically having a preference for Women & that Arthur's pre-death appearance was modelled after the first human woman. i think. at one point they get onto the topic of art and chip asks Arthur if they like to draw, in which they respond: 'no.' Riveting.

something something climactic point where arthur breaks down and finally admits that they dont have a body, dont have any of their powers, and they cant even remember what theyre supposed to look like. he says that he feels useless!

& then chip says something like 'you dont have to have powers to like. create stuff.'

and then they draw together :]

chip agrees to help give him a "new face" so to speak by drawing him a FURSONA (it is a JACKRABBIT with a RAINCOAT AND UMBRELLA and an EYEPATCH and like. epic scars. and two swords. and a pet dolphin & demon wings. and other convoluted detailed design elements akin to that of a sparkledog) which they lovingly name 'Arthur.' (maybe w a last name like 'skullcrusher' or soemthing)

and arthur like draws his own version of that. which is Close to what Arthur's design is currently. & he's like 'yeah. so um. uhh. close your eyes i cant do it while youre looking.'

(chip puts their paws over their eyes.) 'um ok! what are you doing?'

'im gonna show you the real me.'

& then he looks like the character he drew."

setomary dont ever kiss and if they do its little pecks while saying mmmmmwah out loud. i know so! for a first kiss it'd be an accident. one of them aimed for the cheek and the other turned around. then they teehee about it and kiss for reals

KIDOMOMO i feel like. they'd have the most conventional situation of all. like they'd have a first date kiss at the end of it momo pops her foot up. boom first kiss. I think it'd be something like kido sort of wants to take the lead (leader DUUUH) but momo is so straightforward, it was her who asked them out, planned the date, reached out to holds hands etc etc. so by the end of the date kido is so defeated. they take momo home but all of a sudden momo acts shy when they're saying bye bc dammit. she's just a girl in the world. kidos like itd be so easy to pretend i dont see it and just go home but i MUST BE BRAVE💥 and kisses her :3 :3 :3 sorry this is so cheesy but its so cute... can u envision what i am putting down.... auugghhh kidomomo is rly cute like theyre literally puppy love

UMMMM kanoshin...... kanoshin happens in a delusional situation for them both like they walk out of it not knowing what just happened. it's definitely kano's fault. probably trying to tease or annoy shintaro taken too far.

and for harutaka MANNN its funny u said i absolutely must have something thought but idk? i imagine something rly simple like they're talking and since they're super cringe they talk all up on each others faces and then they go for it. idk. they kiss like a day after confessing or something . or an hour later. dude idk

while confessing is kinda important to harutaka since its a whole thing for them like Haruka i love youuuuu Takane i wanna see youuuuuu like i get it guys. u wanna talk. however i do also kinda like the idea they kiss before confessing. idk i just like it. like they just go for it💥💥💥 YOU KNOW WHATS COOL FOR HARUTAKA TOO excitedly kissing and THEN realising they just kissed. wait see this is my problem with them i just like way too many scenarios They are everything 2 me

quastion i think uve talked abt before but i wanna hear u talk abt it again if thats the case. which magu girl do you think would be fun as a sinner a la limbus company. like who do u think would be the best fit...

the only 2 ive talked about are the girlies bc u made the best art of them in the limbus spirte style but why dont i just go thru all of them to amuse no one but myself.

honestly with shoushitsu's perceived emotional distance it might be fun to see her as one. she has her own desires & is willing to act on them Clearly given she's alive in the series but the fact that she can bury that to seemingly deal with the problem unbiased (impossible but shes doing it better than anyone else) would make her an interesting sinner. everyone would see her as the normal one or the slightly annoying one until it would get to her canto & open a whole new perspective on her. she strikes me as being similar to faust, if just a little.

kyuuyaku i dont think would be the best candidate for a sinner. she has the motivation but the whole dying repeatedly & watching everything crumble with her is clearly getting to her. she's a fighter in the fact she wont give up but i dont think she has what it takes to do any abnormality suppression. i also think at some point if not right away the whole dante bringing her back to life thing is going to trigger some sort of panic attack or similar.

touhikou would also make a good sinner. she's willing to fight. she's willing to go off on her own if that's what it takes to get her answers. between kannagi & kyuuyaku being in the same time as her it seems to me she's dealt with both sides, praying & research, and decided neither of them were enough & she'd find her own way. she'd be good at suppression & likely the job in general, with the one problem being she also would end up disagreeing with the other sinners as she works with them, but due to contracts she cant just leave this time. she would be a fun sinner.

tenshi. WORST pick for a sinner. whats she gonna do. cry and make them feel bad????? girl's not saving anyone she's getting smushed by the first abno she meets. she would never be able to handle any ego or corrosion thereof. she's like u said she would be one of the cool npcs that gets killed before the end of the chapter. much like how she does in the series.

apoptosis is my other choice for good sinner. theres something so so wrong with her her ego skills would be So Something & with how she melts down in canon i bet shes prone to ego corrosions. shes also just so fucking awful she would have no problem fighting everyone and anyone like vergilus would have to scare her into behaving shes that bad i think. i dont even think her canto would be that deep i think shes just Like This.

maximizer could go either way. shes full of ..... idk if its whimsy exactly but shes at least pretending to be very lax which could either lead to a very dramatic canto reveal or very lackluster one. she'd see fighting & ego stuff as just part of the job & wouldn't have any real problems with it i think.

kanon could be interesting given shes willing to lie to manipulate others. like yeah she regrets that but its a thing that happened. she did in fact go that far. i think that could be a very interesting reveal if her canto was later; everyone working with her having no real problem with her, shes just there, and then suddenly everyone finds out its because of her influence & direction people got killed permanently & her outward way of handling it was just 'well that wasnt the goal sorry that happened'. like maximizer i dont think shed have any real problem with fighting anything given its in her contract, its probably just inconvenient for her.

ashura would also be a good sinner bc theres a lot going on with her itd be fun to explore in this setting. the whole controlled by external forces theme & all. but bc of that she might not be considered to become a sinner in the first place since she lacks her own motivations or at the very least wont act on them. i think she's bitter enough tho they should let her fight things i want to see her ego corrosions.

laboratory would be a bad choice for sinner too i think. shes a do as shes told oops i forgot to be a person type chara. she'd be one of the branches like research workers that gets killed mid chapter or like shrenne not a sinner. i dont think she has any fight in her anyway.

yamete. realistically i think she'd be in the same company as labo & end up getting killed slightly after her after spending all her energy fighting to keep labo alive & failing. that said in series it seems like she does have a lot of her own motivations and ambitions her downfall was purely buying into the "just do ur job" rhetoric she was pushed. she's bitter & she's biting as she goes down so i think itd be fun to give her a sinner role anyway.

kannagi i think would be a bad sinner on the basis of she's not really willing to fight for want she wants. she IS acting of her own will & has her own desires but she's so non confrontational about it, at least from what i can understand, that she would be like. useless functionally as a sinner. she can be an npc for funsies tho.

speaking of people who need help, nine :( NINE. nine. i was expecting a lot more from prime but this is very very clearly not the end, it's clearly not even the whole of season 1 and is being split up into different release chunks for netflix (like glitch techs is 1 season but was released in two seperate chunks as "seasons 1 and 2"). i personally hoped to see more worlds, but i'm also glad what we DID see was fleshed out. i was expecting a more episodic format in terms of visiting the worlds so i'm happy we get to spend actual time in each of them and get to know the characters and their problems

i'm wondering if sonic erased his original friends out of existence when he shattered the paradox prism (like how green hill doesnt exist anymore) or if they also landed in different worlds. or the void. or something else entirely

speaking of green hill, isn't it super weird that they just... decided all of sonic's world is green hill. i guess it's for budgetary reasons? and to control the scope? but it's super fucking weird right, like, i'm not the only one that thinks that's weird? there are. other places in sonic's world. sonic doesn't live ANYWHERE he just ends up in green hill a lot. maybe it's also for a point of comparison, like how the loop-de-loop is always in the same place? just to have more solid landmarks to see what's different. i just wish they did that with like. multiple areas of the world. instead of multiple landmarks of Just Green Hill

anyway waiting for the next part of this show to drop is gonna be torture. i have some Gripes and Grumbles (WHERE IS BLAZE IN THE PIRATE DIMENSION? WHERE IS SHE!) but nothing is ever perfect and also i love having stuff to gripe and grumble about. rusty rose is my new best friend btw. (also the knuxouge enjoyers are eating well, congratulations to those who that applies to)

theres gonna be so much fanfic about these goddamn places i can tell. especially the fucked up eggman won world. theres so much potential there. i'm hoping (like another person said) that rusty rose's backstory is that she got kidnapped, sonic wasn't there, and she got turned into a fucked up robot thing. because wouldn't that be fucked up. that would fuck this version of sonic up too, he'd feel so upset and guilty that he couldn't help her (and then be determined to help her NOW even if shes evil). i wish they spent more time on rusty and the pirate amy recognizing each other and being freaked out tho. thats also a lot of potential

i also want to see sonic find another version of himself. i don't think that'll happen? because like, he doesn't exist in any of these worlds because he's the god of these gajillion universes. but also i want him to find a fucked up version of himself and go dear god that could have been me. itd be neat i think

in any case i am kissing these writers on the mouth for rusty rose and nine. i am a sonic fan who craves being spoonfed more funny little guys so i can point and go HEY I KNOW THAT GUY but i'm also just really glad that big is part of the crew. hes so good :)

i have more thoughts but also i am eepy and i dont feel like typing anymore. sonic prime flawed and for babies but also good. i'm glad we finally got a proper action cartoon this time, it's wicked cool. i love rusty rose did i mention that yet. i love rusty rose

Just realized i have a penchant for Kaeya fighting to-be Diluc’s suitors or partners to the most non-violent and aggressive things ever-- like dance battles, sports matches, who can make the best snowcones, etc.

Its probably because, despite how much Kaeya wants to keep him away from all that, he doesnt want any bad blood between all parties involved and just wishes for Diluc’s happiness

So he fights them in any way that isnt an actual physical fight or battle. Although id imagine if this was Chiluc, he'd get really close to just straight up punching Childe in the face AHAH

Oh Kaeya, Childe is a bit battlecrazed-- if you introduce him to fights that arent "fights", you have just created possibly the most dangerous skill monkey in all of Teyvat.

So the only one I think Kaeya would actually approve of is Thoma. cause he knows Thoma is a good guy. Like everyone else can screw off even Albedo. Cause you can't convince me, Kaeya fully trusts Albedo. You just can't. Like yeah, they bond over caring for Klee, but still, Albedo gives the vibes he has his own goal and will place them above all else. Also, Albedo and Diluc would never talk about their relationship, so Kaeya would hear about it until Klee spills the beans about them planning to get married or something.

And funny enough, Kaeya would start out liking Zhongli but quickly grow to LOATH him as he sees Diluc buy everything for him and ends up probably convinced that Zhongli is totally in it for Diluc's money. Probably ends up as the one Kaeya hates the most. Cause with the other, he can kind of see how well they treat Diluc and the effort they put in. It is much harder to see that with Zhongli.

Eula is not allowed cause she's obviously trying to use Diluc to clear her name.

Xiao is probably the one Kaeya grows to like the most and ends up slotted behind Thoma. Because I can see Kaeya noticing how Xiao is always so very careful with Diluc. And honestly won't talk about really anything until you talk about Diluc. So Yeah

So here is Kaeya's rating of Diluc's suiters.

consider: the new second gen from this happening (aka soleil and ophelia get to have more friends)

okay so i have thought about this before not necessarily in the context of nohr/the fates universe (intsys… give the continent a name please… i cant keep saying fateslandia i really cant) but like im down to take that angle, though i do dislike the whole deeprealm thing we can just… ignore it. maybe. i dont know i think im j gonna word vomit this so maybe i’ll decide halfway through how i feel about that ok lotta thoughts under cut

whenever i liked to think about the awakening second gen having kids (awakening third gen?) it’s kinda hard because i honestly… i dont think a lot of them would? at least not in the state that theyre in once we as players finish awakening. inigo owain and severa get to grow AFTER awakening and we see that, so the case for them is easy. but we dont know what direction everyone goes, so this is a lot of my own interpretations of the characters, so im not gonna make up a concept for all of them. but if you want me to give my thoughts on someone specific i didnt get to here thats totally cool but. on its own this is already gonna be long. i can feel it.

so first is gerome and i dont have like full oc descriptions for any of these kids i just have like ideas of what they could be, and i think with gerome, like realistically in terms of what i think intelligent systems would do given how popular batman is in japan is turn geromes kid into like a robin sidekick kinda guy. but then that gets thrown out the window because percy exists. arthur/gerome realness. but since i cant just steal percy from arthur and call him geromes son, i think a good concept for that would be to have a kid whos very affectionate and like. i think im gonna say itd be a daughter. i think she’d want to be a daddy’s girl kind of like how severa is in her dad supports, but gerome is still in his own shit about raaahh my parents left me and now i have attachment issues the likes of which you wouldn’t believe raaahhh and is REALLY bad about engaging in meaningful interactions with her? gonna use deeprealms actually because if you disregard how absolutely fucking nonsensical it is it brings in some interesting dynamics. anyways so gerome is the type of idiot to do things like purposefully avoid spending time with people to not get attached so hes not sad when they die and i think thats kind of what would go on here? except this time its his daughter and this time he locked her in a pocket dimension for all of her formative years and probably didnt visit her! i hate to paint gerome in a bad light like i really do i love him so very much but i think his inability to reach out would really hit him hard here realistically speaking! and so then their support conversations would be her trying to reach out and slowly getting through to him, forcing him to self reflect on the fact that he neglected his own child for years just because he was scared. and that sucks but i think it would be important for him and a good way to complete his arc that was set up in awakening that he couldnt ever really finish because of the way the support system works

realistically yarne would aim to have like thirty kids but im not conceptualizing THIRTY KIDS but i think his dynamic with this child would be like velouria and keaton but the other way around with yarne being the overly affectionate and doting one whereas the kids j kinda like …okayyy??? but could obviously see yarnes good intentions and relief that. you know. he has a kid! hes safe! i think when it comes to laslow and odin having kids, those supports were more used to further THEIR development, which is what i went for with gerome, but when it comes to yarne i feel like something that could be interesting to tackle with his kid is their identity with being 1/4 taguel and like. idk. wanting to be proud of a culture that doesnt exist? show off their heritage to world thats never heard of it? deal with the fact that while they may pass on the taguel blood like this, itll eventually wither out just due to genetics? maybe his kid wouldn’t be able to transform fully into a rabbit (probably not true since i think corrins kids would all be 1/4 dragon right. bc corrins only half? but whatever maybe the taguel are different) and itd fuck with their sense of self. not sure exactly what direction this would take but i think it could be a fun way of discussing being biracial in a way like this (albeit heavily fantasized because. fantasy game)

severas a bit weird because while yes shes already in fates and yes caeldori might be hinted at being her canon daughter (which i dislike the concept of a lot! as nice as the interactions are) its not ACTUALLY canon and i think she deserves a kid thats specifically her own and ive made a post about this before but i feel like severas issues with her mom is something that she clearly isnt over by the time of fates no matter how her support with cordelia goes. and the perspective that odin and laslow get from being parents in that they learn what their parents went through in protecting and ultimately dying for them would be SO insanely valuable for selena!! she thinks cordelia died for chrom! and while its true we’ll never know how bad timeline cordelia felt and our cordelia is clearly very different, i dont think thats true. severa just needs to see that and i dont think a cordelia look alike is the way to do that. severa strikes me as woman with a son vibes anyways. i think in the same way soleil and ophelia ramp up their dad’s traits, her son would do something similar and just be wayyy tsundere about everything to the point where not even severa can do anything about it. i think it could be funny, but itd also put her right in her moms shoes back in their support conversation, trying to get through to a child whos convinced you dont love them as much as they love you (maybe he’d be pissed off about the deeprealm thing. i think thats a good angle) and she buys his time with sweets and dessert the same way because as much as it pisses her off, hes just like her and she knows what works! now she just has to make sure he doesnt continue to grow up like how she did

theres this part of cynthias character thats very subtle thats shown in her dad support and its at the very end and if you notice at the end of that support there is… no resolution. cynthia hugs her dad, says its okay that she knows she’ll never be his real daughter and he’ll never be her real dad, and then it ends. compare to someone like inigo’s father or lucina’s mother support where they emphasize hey!! youre my kid too! and i think that’s a fun way to take cynthias development in the future because she just… doesnt get that. FOR SOME REASON????? so i think cynthia in fates could deal a little bit with putting that behind her and learning to deal with that in this new world because i think its obvious she doesnt WANT to part from her parents, she just feels like she has to. and i think this could come through when she has a kid of her own. i think she’d actually be a pretty fucking good parent, deeprealms aside, trying to maintain this bond with them and reassure them that she isnt going anywhere because i think thats what cynthia herself always needed to hear. i dont think there’d be too much conflict here, but i think it could be a decent way to finish cynthia’s character arc and let her give herself the closure she was looking for even if she didnt know she was.

ok because i am SIMPLY INSUFFERABLE here i go rambling about boning channels on the corset

this is going to be a QUICK and EASY project so i am hoping to work with supplies i have on hand. i also want this to be durable, so i dont wanna fuck around with any delicate fabrics (relevant later)

theres basically two routes i can do with the boning channels- a flat felled seam or adding a casing. im planning on working my boning channels from the outside of the corset, so anything i do will be visible (though not really as this is a foundation garment, not a fashion layer)

flat felled seams are super common, its the seam up the center of your jeans- the nicest thing about this methos for me is that it requires no additional fabric, its just worked with your seam allowance (though that also means i need to remember to add enough seam allowance) its simple, it looks neat, and i could do contrast top stitching to add a little detail if im feeling fancy.

casings would be made up of an extra strip of fabric sewn over the seam to create the channel. its a great way to quickly make a design by using a contrast colour but im not sure thats on the cards here- it needs to be a strong fabric, which would rules bias binding or my fashion fabric out, and i have a whole roll of black twill tape anyway. like with the felled i could do contrast stitching for a show though. this is the exact opposite of the felled, i would need additional fabric, but i wouldn't need to remember to add appropriate seam allowance (which is great when working with expensive fabrics like coutil). in my head i feel like this method would require more thinking in getting it lined up but it shouldn't be particularly hard. i did this method before on a corset i wear all the time and its held up great so i know itd work. my twill tape is 25mm wide so itd be perfect to double bone if i go that way

the difference between these two methods is most aesthetic, they should both hold the boning just fine, they both could be single or double boned, and i dont think theres gonna be a huge time difference between them. honestly they have a preeeeetty similar look too so like??? idk. i think it probably will come down to what i can be bothered with. the casing sounds easier in theory, but also ive done so many felled seams they should be pretty mindless to do. hm

oh alSO im not sure what im doing about binding... i dont wanna use my precious precious coutil for binding.. but i dont have black on hand i dont think? i dont think the twill tape will really work, it really needs to have all the give it can for this. so i think my options are see if i have some OTHER black fabric i can make bias binding out of... or suck it up and buy a reel of premade- i expect ill use it, everything i own is black sooo

(now that bit could totally be contrast if i wanted it to be to be fair- the only reason not to is that whole reels are way cheaper than little packs, but i wouldn't use a whole reel of anything other than black???? or would i i mean. i might need green binding for the rest of loki... hm)

ooh this is an interesting question… anon im curious as to why you asked me HAH but i suppose im flattered!!! very grateful to have the chance to speak my Opinions… (warning this is gonna be kinda long i have a lot to say 😅 i put it under the read more!!)

i really like grasp!! pride if reinsuba seems to be pretty popular in this fandom (which im guessing is because reinhard and pridebaru are both like. powerful in their own ways. and they have the most feral relationship out of any version of reinsuba) and tbh i eat up any pride if reinsuba content every time. i enjoy their dynamic and i like seeing the different takes people have on it!! grasp is particularly fun for me in that iirc there isnt really much fics specifically about reinhard capturing pride, plus reinhard’s characterization here is super interesting. grasp emphasizes how much reinhard genuinely cares about subaru and also emphasizes reinhard’s softness—even as hes. you know, kidnapping pride, imprisoning him, gaslighting, etc etc. and grasp’s reinhard is Specifically most likely from the main route, judging from the events he describes. i love seeing darker versions of reinhard in general, and i suppose it’s unique to see a reinhard from the main route act like this. though i will say that reinhard in like ch6 does say he doesnt “give a fuck” iirc which. im sorry i cant imagine reinhard saying that 😭😭 but i do like the addition of him going fuck you to the literal council though!!

on the other hand, though, i feel like grasp’s pridebaru characterization isnt sharp enough for my personal taste. like i know grasp’s pridebaru is still like not that far into pride if—like he was whisked away right before he killed petelgeuse. but at this point i still feel that like. hes jaded and accustomed to violence and i feel like he would be A Lot More Pissed Off in this situation (being imprisoned by reinhard of all people). like the way i see pridebaru, he very much Is Pride, you know? hes stubborn as hell and he wants to be in control and Powerful at all times and he LOATHES reinhard specifically for his power and heroism. i just feel like that even while pride is afraid of reinhard here for knowing personal shit about him + insisting that main route events happened (ie subaru being close with emilia, saving the day, etc etc), i still feel like prides gonna like double down and do Everything he can to make this difficult in any way for reinhard. like i feel like to pride, hearing reinhard talk about this other version of events is like. prides like hearing about basically some other version of himself, which probably sounds like hearing about a literal stranger to him bc Why would he even be friends with reinhard. itd sound totally alien to pride. but this is like, all my personal opinion and i mean no disrespect!! that and 95% of my personal taste in fiction is like composed of the most unhinged things, meaning that my general (kind of biased) consensus with most ifbarus is that you might as well write them to be as insane as possible T^T so take my opinion with a grain of salt maybe, i suppose!

but anyway that aside thats just a very long explanation of basically saying while grasp’s pridebaru take isnt a personal favorite of mine, i do really really enjoy the fic and seeing reinsuba shenanigans happen in it!! and ill definitely be tuning in for each update whenever i get the chance :o

Okay so. Admittedly, I haven't really been working on the au that much, due to my hyper fixiation on the owl house taking up my brain. And that'll likely still be the case with the upcoming finale so.. yeah!

Anyways, with what I have now;

I already know this is going to be a written collection of various connected stories; as opposed to a comic <\3

If my experience with making comics in the past says anything to me, is that it'll crash and burn before any of the juicy stuff happens.. and I'll get burnt out incredibly fast

Only downside to sticking to a written format is that a lot of these characters have redesighs <\3

Not big ones, most carry their basic look that just about everyone knows

Save for Kagekao and Laughing Jill

Good news is, Kagekao, as of now, doesn't have a role.. yet.. maybe.. again, I'm still figuring out the overarching story

Bad news: Laughing Jill is actually a huge roll in one of the side plots (more on that later). She still holds the same basic design elements as her canon design has: black and white clown gal

Only difference between the real design and my take is that Laughing Jill is a funky ragdoll; and she's small because.. yk, she's a doll. Can literally fit inside a decent sized backpack (again, will elaborate on this later)

Though of course I suppose I could just

I also want to do different plots and side things that all either connect to larger story, or show different perspectives and such; maybe each chapter switching from one characters POV to another

Because unlike most of the other characters, she lives a very normal life otherwise... when you don't look at her past. She has a job, she lives in her own apartment, she's gotten her education. Other than gunning for Jeff, she has no interest in taking the lives for others. So with Janes chapters it'll likely follow both settings/sides of her life

Moving on, Im gonna write masky/tim and hoodie/brian the same way i do in my silly imagines and hc posts; treat the proxy as a separate personality from the person. Each having their own set of morals, behaviors, and memories; not too dissimilar to how MH shows them off IIRC

Though these versions of them are a mix of MH and CRP since I enjoy both renditions, as a fan of both materials. Plus I feel like if this did become something, a few of yall would be upset if i didnt have them... plus theyre fun to write

i loooove trainstory so much... was curious if there was like anything that inspired it or anything? i just luv the kinds of concepts ur introducing they feel so unique

SMILING this is very high praise… as blunt as i can put it trainstory is just a commixtion of Everything I Like because i quite literally started conceptualising it like “alright i’m gonna make a narrative that i can twist in any way i like and in ways that will cater to me in the highest degree” however i think i can name some things for like. individual facets

formatwise it was originally based on a dream i had like 2 years ago actually! of a very shitty video game interface that was segmented into squares with retro geometric badly-rendered textures and there was like a portrait of an unrememberable character in the corner and a huge box for text that scrolled. a few months ago i got both into like 90s/early 2000s online hypertext fiction and also ergodic literature and that kind of evened out ccs’ text heaviness and elusiveness into something solid i think… visually as an end product i also imagine it to be one of those classic mixed 2d-3d games with super gritty pixelated textures and really ugly but endearing character models and whatnot. dare i mention games like p.athologic and b.ad day on the midway as encapsulations of that vision. also a lot of visual inspiration comes from just going through the archive for the internet ray tracing competition theres good stuff in there

the first thing i figured out about trainstory settingwise was just that itd be on some eternal train ride in some way. that was mostly just because i wanted to write something set in a very closed space with a lot of room to develop a ‘community’ of characters. and also to examine isolation and how people cope differently about it… i specifically wanted to go for many characters finding solitude preferable and satisfactory because it’s an uncommon thing to see in media. i think i just chose a train because it seemed quaint… it was initially meant to be a space journey of sorts playing on the blend of sea/space exploration. this angle of it was heavily influenced by coheed and cambria’s afterman albums and from them the concept of the keywork, a random space structure housing a bunch of ghosts. this eventually lead to me kinda considering something more fantastical so i decided to make it more about weird dimension travel instead. i’ve always liked strange dereality-influenced structures in my stories hence the construction of the fornax reality. the sci fantasy angle just came in as a natural evolution of this i think, i was just very fascinated by the idea of allegorising magic to code. there’s lots to say here but it’s mostly a mix of me wanting to do anachronistic close-to-earth-times technological fantasy and me just thinking up conceptually funny things to incorporate into the setting whenever i could

characters themselves have so many individual references it’d be like unwieldy to mention them all here. but the common thread between them is weird autism and brainweird that mostly stems from my own behavior LOL i got sick of not having characters who struggled with expressing and naming emotions and had the capacity to be overly angry and mean… huge part of ccs is also just miscommunication out of characters making assumptions and crafting narratives and having grudges and like. i focus on these kinds of nuances under a kind of sympathetic lens as these characters learn to progress and collaborate with one another. the sympathy is very important

a lot of characters also came from me melding different characters i liked and whatnot. like freya is a distilled version of “weird girl with godly powers who can be rude and self-righteous to the detriment of herself and others around her” which is probably my fucking favorite niche character archetype of all time. or isel as “absolute failure of a man using word of mouth to present himself as something grandiose and important” or peixin as “guy tortured by fucking visions”. sometimes it’s even more niche like valerie was just based on various fighting game girls i found cool and i was like alright what if she was a vampire too. a lot of characters were also inspired by specific songs and albums but uhhhh that’s delving into playlist talk which will unleash so much autism in me.

im horrifascinated with him literally invading her nostalgic memories (and the state she’s tied herself to embodying here in WL!) to like... rub himself all over it. defile the past. AND, showing up in the sunday afternoon peaceful garden times zone is like a fuckyou to peter too... like a cat pissing on a tree in another cat’s territory. theres two separate sex scenes in this ending (lmaooo) but i dont even really think of this one as like. particularly sexual (or i guess i should say erotic? sex is about power blah blah) so much as ace wanting to assert power over alice and peter and like. the ghost of lorina liddell i guess.

can you see this from heaven? if you could, would this even be the shape your heaven takes? well, in the end youre actually not here to say otherwise . so i will say it as if you’ve seen: haha lorina i am banging your sister

and i think on some level alice knows that lorina... isnt there to catch them in the act. that her objection to this isn’t “whats wrong with you, my sister could walk in on us any second!!!” but “i don’t want you to defile my perfect memories of this place, and of my perfect sister”.

let me make it abt the yuukei quartet for a sec. ofc its cuz shintaro is the protag so his relationships with the characters are more developed but Hey. shintaro haruka and takane are all super close to each other individually like this is canon they are super best friends while ayano. yknow there's a lot of inference when it comes to her. ofc she's also friends with them but compared, ayanos bond with takane and haruka isnt as developed as takane and harukas bond with shintaro. i think post str ayano is also super distracted with her siblings at first so she doesnt spend as much time as she'd like as a quartet. and by the time mekatrio chills down a bit with her and she joins haruka takane and shintaro the 3 of them are already super close and she feels rly left out LOL so if they go on double dates and shit shintaro keeps going on and on and on abt how annoying haruka and takane are like why do they have to like each other so MUCH WHATS WITH THAT!!!and ayanos like this is so fucking weird can we have another topic of conversation that isnt about our friends making out
