Ask OC Live!!
Tumblr media
I thought it would be fun, so I'm doing ask OC for an undetermined amount of time (realistically, it's ANY time)!
Here's the deal...
You can send me an ask (or multiple) directed towards an OC and I will draw an answer! Just head to the ask box and shoot an ask + specify which OC(s) it is intended for. The answers will be in-character, so do bear in mind that... you might not actually get solid answers sometimes. But you'll get something. Lol
Even though it says "ask OC", it's not really limited to JUST questions, so you can get a bit wild with it. Do keep in mind that some OCs do have way more lore than others, so the answers might not be consistent.
NOT DOING: - insane what-ifs (ex. what if you were trapped inside an anthill!??!?! yes, this is an ask i've gotten in the past. or it was something like that.) - straight up inappropriate or NSFW asks - magic (ex. transformations... this is meant to be at least somewhat in-universe, not hypotheticals) - "what if x met x", and other character/OC inserts (ex. Mario stands next to you for the next 10 asks. again this is an ask that i have gotten before.)
With that out of the way (and i definitely forgot something but I'm not too fussed), here's a bunch of my OCs if you didn't have some in mind already:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(you can kind of piece together from the amount of images and other things which ones are more developed than others.)
Note that I might not get to the ask right away as I've decided to post this at 8PM and I also have to sleep sometimes, but I probably will get to it eventually. My normal ask box also remains open if you want to just send some... yknow, other ask (although I'm not actively answering a lot of them right now because I typically do it in bursts).
Anyway happy asking! (i'm going to eat ice cream and wait now)

Greetings! I can be addressed as Snow, I'm a writer on Tumblr. I've been writing since June of 2023, I'm still accepting one-shot requests focused on both Muichiro Tokitou x (Female) Reader and Yuichiro Tokitou x (Female) Reader.
Please understand that I have certain reservations about writing polygamous relationships involving the twins. While I am not completely opposed to the idea, I will carefully consider each request on a case-by-case basis before deciding whether or not to proceed with it.
Tumblr media
As for another platform, I do have a discord that I created solely for this purpose~ Don't be shy to reach out whenever you want!
I did just recently created a sub blog, wherein I'll be posting, sharing and reblogging things other than my works. Unleashing my demon in this blog.
Chaotic blog: @snowbluesky
I also write on other platforms, specifically Wattpad and Archive. Though I'm more active in this site~
I am heavily inspired by Slay (@theyslaydemons), and I hold great admiration and respect for her and her remarkable works. She is truly someone I look up to and admire in the writing community.
My request will always be open, feel free to share your ideas and requests with me anytime and I'll do my best to bring them to life through my writing. Your suggestions are always appreciated and valued.
Feel free to reach out if you'd like to be included in my taglist! Whether you're interested in being notified about every fiction I post or if you have specific preferences for the type of content you're looking for, just drop me a message or ask~!
I enjoy engaging with readers and fellow writers in various ways.
Tumblr media
I'm open to interacting with you beyond the scope of requests.
With that ending note, I want to express my sincere gratitude for your continuous support, whether it's through liking, commenting, or reblogging my fictions. Your engagement means a lot to me, and I truly hope that the work I put into creating them brings you as much joy and satisfaction as it brings me.
Thank you once again for your unwavering support!

I accept requests, but please note that I don't write explicit content or rated 18 scenes. Another reason I may decline your request is if I have already read or seen a similar idea from another writer. If you still wish to request it, please make sure to attach the original author's permission along with your request.
If the requested idea has already been fulfilled and submitted by another writer, and you'd like to see it in my writings, kindly mention the name of the writer/s or provide their link so that I can properly credit them.
Regarding the word count for requests, I kindly ask that they do not exceed 800 words, taking into account the specific details and complexity of the request. (With the exception of the anonymous request made on the date of 07/17/2023)
I will be selecting requests based on certain criteria. Although I cannot guarantee that I will be able to fulfill every request, and I sincerely apologize for my limitations, please know that I am genuinely honored and appreciate the effort you put into submitting the prompt and sharing your idea.
Tumblr media
As mentioned earlier in my return post, I won't be sticking to a weekly posting schedule. Instead, I aim to create a healthier routine for myself, one where this blog isn't a burden but rather a hobby. I used to write frequently when I had free time, but my current busy schedule doesn't allow me to manage all my responsibilities, including this one.
Nonetheless, I'll continue to accept requests. However, I can't assure timely fulfillment due to my other commitments.
Thank you for your understanding!

Wade/Nancy is an artist who's been surrounded by negative opinions. She currently works under the username Grisgrisdoll, but she's widely known as the name that haunts her past, Kastoway.
I've seen many, many accusations being thrown online against this artist, but I noticed that for many people spreading them this knowledge is secondhand. I found her Deviantart account some time after she changed her username to Kastoway in the beginning of 2014 due to my hyperfixation on creepypastas at the time. I never actually followed her, but I visited her account every now and then, so if I missed something important, it was because of that and I will be glad if you tell me. In this post, I'll list the incidents in chronological order *with evidence* and then give my own opinion at the end.
One thing to know about Wade is that she has had many different names and usernames throughout her life. In addition, she is comfortable with people using either "she", "he" or "they" to refer to her. I'll be alternating the pronouns and using both her names.
He was 13 when she created Ticci Toby [1]. He posted her first drawing of him on the 19th of November 2012 on DeviantArt [2] and Toby's origin story one year later on the 23rd of May 2013 [3]. Wade changed the personality of Toby to make him less upbeat, more tragic and more scary. One of the first instances where he showed discomfort with how people portrayed Toby that I remember was in a publication she posted on the last day of 2013 [4]. This situation ended up with a small redesign of Toby on 5th of February 2014 [5].
She took a short break from DeviantArt around July [6]. It was this year when her creepypasta blew up out of proportion. Previously, she had expressed her desire for Toby to only be shipped with another creepypasta character called Clockwork. However, many people didn't like Clockwork and didn't respect this wish, leading her to further getting tired of the creepypasta community. By october of the same year, her Deviantart bio said: "Most people know me as the creator of the creepypasta story "Ticci-Toby"-- which yes I am, but I prefer not to be constantly called out for it nor only recognized or appreciated for it. I do not contribute to the creepypasta fandom anymore so please don't ask me about it. Thank you" [7].
One issue that is frequently overlooked when discussing Wade's actions is her problem with impersonators, as she stated on a status in November [8].
On 14th of December 2014 he made a post trying to solve all the turmoil that had formed because of shipping [9]. He stated that he had asked people not to ship Toby with anyone but Clockwork because that was what he was comfortable with, but he realized that decision was pointless and didn't care at this point. The situation had gone out of control and there were people bashing creators who shipped Toby with others or with their own characters. He apologized to the hurt and asked people to stop the white knighting. In addition, he recognized "I wasn't prepared for my character to become popular on the internet. I really wasn't. I never thought it would happen and I'm still not good at dealing with it. In fact I suck at it, it's true". He was 15 at the moment.
In 2015, they got into Marvel, even having a tumblr blog where she drew Deadpool replying the asks of her followers. At the end of their bio, it could be read: "I will not reply to notes or comments regarding Ticci-Toby or anything Creepypasta related, sorry." [10]. This message was deleted months later, so their profile didn't mention Toby or creepypasta anymore. They kept the folder for her creepypasta drawings in their gallery tagged as "old".
In April 2016, he had to warn the general public that Toby wasn't real and that he was his creator [11]. People had been spreading misinformation, saying that Toby was real or was based on a real person. Wade feared that something like the tragedy of Wisconsin could happen again, it was a serious concern.
In May, Nancy made a post saying that people could still ask her about Toby [12], but later in June that year, she decided to step off the internet with the purpose of trying to improve her life, archiving the majority of her work [13]. Later in 2017, she updated her bio to let people know about her new instagram account where she mostly posts original art. It was at this point when I stopped checking her content completely, as this account, called bonejars at the beginning, was private for a while. She hasn't been very active on DeviantArt apart from the times she announced her podcast.
On the porch: Episode 2, 16 April 2020, started a wave of negativity against them. I didn't watch it at the time and it is now private so I can't say much about it, but they did some clarifications on her instagram stories later. Many users took screenshots of them and they can still be read [14]. In them, Nancy says that they came to terms many years ago with the ships, that they left the fandom because all of the drama made them miserable and that they'd wish Toby to no longer be associated with the creepypasta fandom. Despite this, they don't want people to stop doing what makes them happy, they said they're ok with headcanons and people reinterpreting the character, that they like the fanart as long as people don't profit from it. They said "I know what escapism is like and using fiction to cope with life. I would never wanna take that away from anybody". Later, they had to make further clarifications because people accused them of wanting to take Toby away from the fandom.
On 25 abril 2021, Nancy posted a new redesign of Toby on his Instagram account [15]. This version of him was significantly different from the last one. The character is older, wears different clothes and looks more realistic due to Nancy's art style development. With this design, he looks like a character from a slasher.
Many people weren't pleased with the redesign due to thinking the reason for it was to invalidate the previous one. Consequently, they brought to the surface controversies from the past. Nancy was accused of having supported two controversial figures in the creepypasta community: Laughing Jack's creator Steve Aikins (Snuffbomb) and Sally Williams' creator Shilo (la_mishi_mish).
Steve presumably harassed his ex-girlfriend and talked indecently with several young girls back in 2014 [16]. I haven't found evidence of Wade supporting him and I can't remember exactly what she said. If someone has screenshots of it, I would be grateful.
Shilo used to draw NSFW art of Sally [17]. This character is canonically 8, so she usually aged her up in this kind of content. However, she posted a compilation of sketches depicting Sally and Jeff the Killer having sex in 2015, stating it was ok for them to have intercouse because they were both 13. Shilo was 22 at the time. Several sources indicate that she stopped drawing mature content due to social pressure. Nancy and Shilo follow each other on instagram to this day.
There haven't been more references to Toby on Nancy's part since then.
◇ Ok people, get the pitchforks because now I'm gonna give my opinion!
So, what can we accuse Wade of? Of being an idiot and a hypocrite when he was a teenager, of having bad companies and managing fame poorly. I don't think we can blame them for anything else and feel that a big part of the hate they receive is undeserved.
I think she was a hypocrite because she got angry with an interpretation of Toby that she had at the beginning. What's more, Toby's story uses an interpretation of Slenderman that was invented by the fandom, proxies are not canon. It's like a fanfic of a series inspired by just a couple of photos.
Still following Shilo is yikes. However, we don't really know if they're still close and I'm personally gonna give her the benefit of the doubt. Defending Steve was a bad move, but, as some people have pointed out before, he was a teen when that happened, way younger than Steve and she could have been convinced to think he was innocent. Shilo is older too.
Being that young, she wasn't prepared for facing the bad sides of fame. Ignoring stuff, going radio silent and then saying things in the heat of the moment didn't help her a bit, but it was all that occurred to her at the time. She's tried to explain things in more detail in recent years just to go back to saying as little as possible because at this point, people get angry for whatever she says.
People say they're homophobic. Their instagram account refutes it.
People say he was mean and insulted the fandom. I remember reading a couple of statuses on DA that I thought were insensitive, but that was a long time ago. People grow and he's changed his mind a lot as you can read in his instagram stories. If you say these things referring to the post where he told people Toby wasn't real, I'm sorry, but I think he had all the right to be harsh. People said Slenderman was real, it ended up in a tragedy and now the same things were being said about Toby. Can you imagine how it's to feel you're responsible for someone's death? He was trying to protect people.
People say she went after artists that portrayed Toby in a different way than hers, yet every time she's said something that ended up hurting people, she took responsibility and apologized for it. I don't believe this person could go and directly hurt someone. Remember what I said before about her issues with impersonators and people white knighting? That could be what's happening. Even now she has problems with people pretending they know her, so be careful!
People say they have abandoned the character many times. It's true they've said they didn't want to talk about Toby on four different occasions, but I don't think they did it with that intention. Why did they redesign him then? The design we all know is inevitably tied to the creepypasta community and they want to move on from it, that's why they didn't want to talk about him. Now they made a version of the character that isn't tied to that world, so we have two Tobies, one for them and one for us. I think that's cool!
Many don't like that they can't use the old version to earn money, but I want them to understand that this is a really particular situation. Usually, people making commissions of characters that aren't theirs isn't a problem when the creator is getting money on their own (unless you're Disney, Disney has no chill). This isn't Wade's case, she has never been monetary compensated for creating or drawing Toby and she has the right of choosing not to allow the commercial use of her characters. "Give for free what you were given for free" is a rule that makes sense in this case.
I don't expect anyone to stop disliking Wade, you're free to feel whatever you want, but at least I hope that this post helps people to see that all of this is more dimensional than just "kastoway is evil". At the end of the day, she's just a dude that fucked up many times and I think her experiences can help us to not commit the same errors.

Hey! I’ve been a fan of G/T content for quite a while, but I’ve mostly stuck to Deviantart&Wattpad. Pretty recently I decided to create a Tumblr account in an attempt to find more content, and I’ve been amazed by how interactive the community is here! However, I noticed something that I find pretty weird, and just wanted to get an opinion from someone who seems to be a pretty active member of the community, at least from what I’ve seen.
In all the posts I’ve seen, I’ve never seen VR mentioned even once. I might just not be looking in the right place, but I just found it weird. I’ve been an avid VRChat player for a while, and having spent a large amount of time there I noticed the potential it holds for genres like G/T. I was expecting to find at least a single mention of it somewhere here, but I never have. I see lots of posts from both sides of G/T that mention something like, “I really wish I could just hold/be held by someone, etc.” and, well, I’ve had experiences like that. I’ve fallen asleep and woken up in a friend’s hands before. I’ve had friends sitting/standing on my shoulder. They don’t even know this community exists, these interactions just happen naturally.
I just want to share some of the experiences I’ve had, and when I went looking, nobody here seemed to know it was even possible. So yeah, that’s what finally motivated me to interact directly with the community. To at least let someone know that it is possible, and far more accessible than most seem to realize.
I’ll also make a standard post, but considering the fact that I’m a very new account I don’t expect many to see it. Thus why I messaged directly. I know this was a bit of a ramble, I'm still a little nervous about finally interacting with something I've only passively watched for quite a long time. So thanks for taking the time to read through, and I’d love to hear your opinion on why it isn’t mentioned, or anything else you wanna say! Take care out there!
OH! This is quite the interesting ask!! I may not be the best person to answer as I am far from techie.
First off, that sounds incredibly fun! I've only ever tried VR with an escape room - which oddly enough had a silly sizey experience; There was an issue with the calibration or something on one of the headsets and a friend who's just a little over 5ft had their in game avatar show up ballpark around 7ft tall.
I love that g/t seems to happen naturally with your interactions too! I'd love to hear more!
Now for the meat of the question- why isn't this mentioned? Again, keep in mind, I'm no techie or avid gamer so this is really biased towards myself. In no particular order,
Age
Price point
Tech Difficulty
Privacy
Missing sensations
My first guest would be age. I myself am in my mid/late twenties, and just never really grew up with that kind of tech, so theres just a lack of knowledge and not more than a passing interest in it. I think with age there also comes issues with free time, though I'll speak on that more with privacy. I think in general there tends to be a perception that VR chat rooms have a lot of minors (whether this is true or not, I have no clue, but as an adult that is a concern).
My second guess would be price point. Now, again, I am not a tech wiz, so I really don't know too well what would be a good headset (if any ol' cheap one would work, or if the oculus is the way to go), but I know the well known headsets are not at all cheap, and do also require a something to run them on (from my understanding thats just a good enough gaming pc? I have no clue.) Basically, there is a monetary component at play.
Thirdly would be tech difficulty. Some people are just bad at technology, and don't want to learn a new form of it.
Now privacy is what I would think is a big factor- and not online privacy. Roommates, siblings, spouses, family- if someone lives with another person they may not be comfortable being seen interacting on VRchat (especially with how paranoid some of us get with g/t), and then finding alone time is just an absolute pain with work, school, clubs, responsibilities etc.
Lastly, I think some people are hesitant about the missing sensations. Essentially, "who cares if all I can do is see it, I want to feel it." I think for some people it may have the opposite effect, and the degree of realism mixed with the very obviously "not real" cues could be more upsetting- being so close to having something you fantasize about but being reminded its not actually real.
Those are just my thoughts- and I hope others will add some of their own! This is quite the interesting topic and I'd love to hear more about it! As I mentioned earlier, I have very limited experience with VR, but from what little experience I did have it was a ton of fun! I feel like VRchat could be something a lot of people in the community could enjoy if they knew more/had access to it.

hi, you stated you didnt like the new changes? perhaps sending feedback to staff may help by using their support page? they dont seem to see what users post.
Did it. I wrote:
I absolutely hate the new layout. How am I supposed to see a preview of my blog from the dashboard if there's no search bar to type in my username and no icon to quickly click on. Also I think I figured out WHY but I still think it's dumb that half the time when someone I follow reblogs from someone it doesn't show who it is. I'm assuming it's meant to be OP or the person most recent in the reblog chain but it looks like they reblogged the post from no one. Also the layout of the reblog symbol coming first then the url then "reblogged" and then the other URL (if it's even there) looks dumb and confusing. Additionally I think the DM box popup is boring and generic and way too big. I view tumblr at 110% and before the message box update it wouldn't overlap onto anything on my dashboard but now it does (even at the normal size it does). I liked it when the background was the color of the blog I was talking to. I know it's not hard for you to do it that way. The only way I'm able to figure out which of the people I'm following that I'm even interacting with is the tumblr Lab that colors posts for the blog that reblogged/posted it. I would have to scroll all the way to the top of a post not to know which of the people I follow reblogged something now. I liked the icon on the side that would move as I scrolled because it made it easy to remember who I was interacting with, and it also made it easy for one of those big "ask me these questions" posts for me to scroll through the list, pick something, and then quickly access their blog through the icon. Time is of the essence because I have memory issues because of my ADHD and I could quickly forget what I'm intending to say/send to someone. WAIT THE SEARCH BAR IS ON THE OTHER SIDE??? Man this is a horrible design update, it's almost as bad as when deviantart updated everything and I couldn't find my watch notifications for three months and couldn't find my gallery folders from the submit page for two years. There was literally nothing wrong with how it looked before, unlike DA which did look outdated. Your website was fine, and making it look more like twitter will NOT attract the twitter people like you think it will. I've seen polls with tens of thousands of responses asking people where they came from to join tumblr and less than 5% of people responding came from twitter AND reddit. If you really want to welcome them, make a (DISMISS-ABLE) tutorial for people whose accounts are less than a year old and anyone new who signs up. You don't have to destroy everything that made this website unique. Because once you lose your userbase you aren't getting them back, because 2018 should have taught you one thing and it's that your website isn't addictive like twitter or tiktok. People WILL leave.

Like Claire, I too, had heard about Leonzales' art theft accusations. After Claire went through their entire instagram accounts, and I having helped with some of the overlays, it's uhm, it's not looking pretty for Leon. He's apparently targeted and harassed small artists out of the fandom, and traces off of big name artists, thinking if he shifts it ever slightly, they won't think differently. They also think that if they credit the artists, they can get away with recoloring.
Tumblr media
@xxtc-96xx never gave them permission, TC even told me personally that Leon never asked, nor had permission to recolor their old art. That hyena is also Kohu-arts' artwork as well.
What throws me for a loop is that an account is already fighting Leon's war for them. They're pulling up all the stops, using all the tactics in the DARVO ammo.
Tumblr media
This neurotic stan even accused KingSimba for someone's death in the comments. Like, actual fucking yikes on trikes, bruh. I've been around the block in this psycho fandom, trust me when I tell you that I've seen people fake their deaths and claim fake deaths before for sympathy, many of the times as an excuse to steal. This one just turned up the psycho volume. Fucking yikes is all I can say, man. Yikes. Yikes. Yikes.

clearing up some things about the deviantart situation
Tumblr media
in layman's terms, they are NOT using art uploaded to the website for THEIR on-site AI, DreamUp... by default.
HOWEVER!!
Your art can still seemingly get put through their AI, but I will get to that in a moment. This "opt-out for having your art used for AI training" thing is for third party AI's, generators hosted on other websites. Some of these models were trained off of random online art, including images posted to dA. The trouble comes in two parts:
The ability to opt-out of having your art available for 3P AI generation is opt-out, not opt-in. The ability to mass-disable this for all your deviations is not available yet, but "coming soon" - so if you want to disable it, you have to go through your hundreds, perhaps thousands of deviations manually. One by one. Art submitted to the website will not be fed into DreamUp unless...
Users can still tell deviantart's AI to generate images in the style of another artist. THIS is what the google form you have to fill out and have reviewed by a real person is for, they claim they will not use images submitted to the website as reference for their AI, but then how will the AI know how to generate images in those styles? You can submit your deviantart username and links to your other social medias in the form, so presumably they have a big loophole - they'll still let their AI look at art from your other social medias, and perhaps even your deviantart, if it's asked to. Sure it wont use your art unprompted, but it Will use your art if somebody puts your dA username (or Any of your usernames) in the generator and you haven't sent deviantart a form asking it Not to do that. Which is scummy.
There are a lot of deceased artists on the website who cannot opt out of either, because they are dead. So that's fun.
I've seen some slight misinformation but people are still coming to the right conclusions, this is a Horrible, Horrible update so please do whatever you think is right in regards to your accounts.

Loud House fans...we need to talk.
So, yeah...
I was a big fan of The Loud House and I met several great friends -- one who became a best friend of mine and has since played an important role in my life through the good and the bad. And I drew fan art of the series. A whole lot, in fact -- more than any other animated series I've watched because for whatever reason I constantly came with ideas for TLH and that I drew stuff for the fans when I was taking requests at the time.
So, as you may have already known about me as well as the series and the fandom itself, things have happened to me and it led me to be no longer interested in TLH. But what you may have not known is that (aside from two pieces of art that I drew as a favor to a friend as well as another idea I just couldn't resist drawing last month) I made the decision to stop drawing TLH fan art at the end of last year. For good.
More recently, events have led to this decision. On DeviantArt (and on Instagram to a lesser extent), I've experienced art theft from various people in the fandom and they posted it as their own. They even made some weird edits to my art; on one piece they inserted some OC they created in the place of a character from the series. All of this has happened without my knowledge or consent. Many of them are even followers of mine (I didn't follow them back).
Another event that happened was that on Twitter I noticed that a TLH fan who ships Lincoln and Lynn (blech!) -- and it's even on his username, BTW, and has some NSFW stuff on his account -- used a drawing of mine showing Lincoln and Lynn simply hugging, which I had since deleted. Unfortunately, for a drawing that was only intended to show a happy, innocent moment between siblings -- which is nothing wrong with that and it's something that pretty much all siblings do in real life to show their support and I have brothers myself -- in addition to the Lincoln/Lynn shipper who misused my drawing I got some pushback, mainly from the series' non-fans. I mean, people who look at that drawing and say that it's pro-incest are saying more about themselves, let's be honest. My God, the fandom has ruined its reputation to everyone else.
Before those events, there was also at least one user on DA who had misused my art and looked really deep into them and treated it as if it was a fetish or something. Another user has added my TLH fan art to their weirdly named folders (I had since blocked them), and I have had people who made NSFW roleplaying to my art for whatever reason and I disabled comments whenever I noticed it.
And, of course, there are people giving me art requests of TLH characters in situations involving a fetish. Most of the time when I say no, they either ask why or continue to insist that I should draw it. They really have no boundaries for themselves. And what happened here this morning with me dealing with a user is further proof. They even followed me presumably to get me to finally cave in or whatever.
That's the Loud House fandom in a nutshell. I know you would make an argument saying that all fandoms are like that and any fandom can have its share of good people, which I can agree only to that second part. But I've never seen such a fandom for an animated series that's being made with kids in mind that have so many psychotic and nasty people. And unfortunately I know a few people who are adults (not gonna name names) acting weirdly over the series' main characters. It's filled with weirdos. No other fandom I've ever involved with had that kind of a problem.
I shouldn't draw anymore fan art for a show I no longer care about that also has a problematic fandom. I guess I'm the kind of person who bore some of these negative interactions and other abuse because I was kinda prominent within the fandom and was drawing TLH regularly and constantly receiving high marks for them. There was the fact that I was lamenting that my TLH fan art always get smore attention than everything else I drew and I wanted people to check out my other stuff because I had worked hard on them. I love other shows, too. I didn't want to be known only as that guy who draws TLH fan art. I have a mutual who feels the same way and have similar problems with the fandom as well.
Another thing: Long after I began to disassociate myself with the fandom, long story short I was in a spat with someone on Twitter (also one of my followers) and I got some backlash over an opinion I made that they don't like. I quit Twitter and deleted my original account but I have later returned. It was in reaction to a fan of the series on DA who was also a stalker and I was very frustrated. I even alluded to it on a few earlier tweets.
Looking back at it now, I think I should've done things differently regarding this situation. But that guy I dealt with is, like, a stalker. He keeps being banned from DA but he comes back with a variation of the same name as with all accounts he'd created. He would ask someone to draw stuff for him but when he was told no he would then respond with something disturbing. And I was unfortunate to see the same person on Twitter. He went as far to make around TEN accounts with a variation of his name and even left some disturbing responses to various accounts. Repeatedly.
As of late there are people within the fandom who are pushing back negativity from non-fans who gave them various labels mainly because of the other people who gave the TLH fandom notoriety. Again, there are some good people. But I really think that the fandom as a whole cares more about the people criticizing them instead of actually trying to use a lot of their energy fixing the problems and improving their image, even if they don't like such people. The fandom has stalkers, abusers, p*dos, fetishes -- you name it. And there are some bullies, too -- maybe the fandom would also worry about the bullies within the fandom in addition to those outside it.
And that's something I wish my former follower I had a spat with would understand because I was stalked and bullied. (Then again, maybe the fandom is too big for any actual changes to be made.) I do believe he made it sound like I was looking for trouble when in reality I did nothing and was minding my own business. Such people find me on their own. And the whole thing happened after I got out of the fandom and moved on to other things.
I had continued to like The Loud House after I left the fandom and quit watching new episodes, and I even watched The Loud House Movie and liked it despite its flaws. However, the controversies relating to TLH franchise that erupted over the internet last fall made me change a lot of opinions I had towards it since. Although I think I'm not ready to say it now, maybe I'll wait until there's an announcement about the main series ending in the future.
And I sincerely hope that no future children's show will amass such as a large and problematic fandom like TLH's. It shouldn't have happened. But it did. And hopefully it will be something we all should learn from. To paraphrase what my mutual have said about the fandom, the bad far outweighs the good. And besides, several people I know including my friends gave up on the show at one point and moved on to other things.
One last thing: I'm considering deleting all of my TLH-related posts here...for reasons.

Which site do you use fpr commission? Or do you use email? Because honestly i want to do commisions online but i am very suspicious of bots and scam accounts 😔
1. I take orders on all social media I have (twt, insta and deviantart, here i haven't yet had anyone ask for a comm)
2. Communication with the customers is done depending on what they prefer. Either dms on that social media, or discord, or email (which is very rare)
3. I have never been scammed by a commissioner. I've had only one instance when someone didn't pay me for months after I finished their work, due to things going on in their life, but they did pay me in the end.
4. Don't take commissions from empty accounts, if you're taking comms on social media. It's easy to tell if you're talking with a bot or a human if you start discussing details on the commission.
5. Ask to get paid upfront, or half upfront. I don't do that because of personal reasons but it's the standard practice.
6. I know there are scammers that might do chargebacks or not pay you at all after you've finished their commission. My advice is to be aware of the discussions you have with them. Do they seem actually invested in the commission they're getting? What are they asking for? Most. normal people who love your art will most likely be following you on social media, will have liked your art before.
7.I have never had anyone directly message me on email or discord for comms. I don't think I would trust just a random email asking for art.
8. You always have the risk of being scammed. Always , always ask to get paid before you send any high resolution final pieces. Paypal allows chargebacks. If you worry about that, I'm not sure about the legalities of using it for work, but kofi doesn't do refunds. I would look into their tos though, since it's primarily a donations site.
9. I have in my TOS (terms of service) that if a customer fails to pay me I reserve the right to alter the art I made for them and use it to make up for the lost profit. I also always check with customers that they've read said TOS.
Hope this helps. Doing freelance commissions online isn't always safe, but if you avoid obviously suspicious accounts reaching out to you, you'll mostly be fine! I definitely recommend DeviantArt for advertising your commissions and art and getting safer customers, most people there are at least art lovers if not artists themselves, and you can also see how old an account is. Someone who's been there for five or ten years is less likely to scam you, in my experience. DeviantArt needs some work to get your art to be seen, but if you learn to use the groups function and you wiggle your way into communities/interract with others, it's a more straightforward way to find customers than praying to the instagram algorithm gods to favor you. Twitter is also useful and in my experience has less wierd people coming into your dms asking for free art than Instagram does.

My fear . . .
Working on over coming another fear: Selling custom works.
I have soooo many ideas I would love to make and post for sale. I'm sure something would be most loved and bought. However, there's that fear that someone will see the love it's been getting, steal it, and then turn around and say I stole it.
Now the thing is, this is a common fear among some artists. To the point it holds people back from ever posting original art work and all they ever post is fanart. Which they think is safe but we all see that's not always true as even though you hold the IP for the creation of that art, you do not hold the IP for the characters you used. Time and time again I've seen people's fan art used by the companies who own the said characters. They just take it, edit something small or don't edit anything at all and claim it as their own. It's hard to go up against a company. Some succeed while others fail.
Now, I may not have gone up against a company, but I have gone up against other people. I will share one experience: (Mind you, this was some years ago. Those mods who dealt with this no longer are apart of the site but names will not be stated)
I had bought an adoptable on DeviantArt. The rules where once you bought it you owned it. They cared nothing for the creations they created. You could use the same art piece they done in commercial work, OCs, etc. The character was now your own.
A friend wanted the one I bought in the worse way. They didn't have any money to their name as at the time they were homeless, living on what little they got from SS, and had been trying to get into a low income home but needed a job first. So, it was just $2 in points and I bought it for them. In all rights, according to this adoptable's rules, I owned this character now. It was mine. As if, I, myself, had created it.
My friend wanted me to create fanart of it, so I did. I posted it, did a little blurb about the reason behind the character, that I was giving it as a gift, etc. They were over the moon and the fact that he made them happy made me happy! However, it was short lived.
I was contacted by some random person claiming the character was owned by them. I looked on their DA page and saw nothing linking to the character. I replied to them, "'Where is the character on your DA page, I see nothing stating it's your's'." They linked me to their scraps. There was my art along with the character I had bought. They claimed I had stole their art as well.
Now this was the first time this has ever happened to me. I was both terrified and angry. I went to DA's staff about it. I explained what was going on, showed the proof I had bought the character from this person here, I showed the Paypal payment, the art from the program I had did which showed the 100+ layers, and the reply from my friend asking for them to make them fan art of the character. I even showed the time stamps of the art of me posting it almost 3 days before them.
You would believe that this is more then enough proof to show that my art was my own, I owned this character, and I did the fan art of the character for my friend. However, this did not fly with the staff.
I was warned, my account had a warning added to it, my art was then blocked and put into storage, and I was not allowed to remove it from storage. I explained that I am not in the art thief! All what I showed was my own, that's my proof! They didn't believe me. At all! I argued with them. And yes, my temper got the best of me…I was not very good at controlling it when I was younger.
This person claimed something else of mine as well, a custom piece of my own creation. Same thing, I went to DA staff about it, showed my poof in my art program, and I even had a video showing proof I had drew it! Nope, didn't fly. I was on Warning #2. One more warning and I was banned from the site and my account deleted. That was it. I left the site. I put all my art in storage and left.
Come to find out the person who was stealing art, claimed it as their own, then turning around and selling it for a profit was cousins to the staff member. They were allowing them to do this. It was rather a semi-big thing at the time. Granted not many knew about this. The only way I found out about it was a different staff member messaged me, explaining everything, and said the art thief was banned from the site and the staff member removed from their post. The warnings on my account were lifted and I was allowed to repost my storage locked art.
At this time, the damage was already done. My faith in staff was lost and I never returned. I didn't trust any of them. It was because of that all is what started my fear of posting anything original.
I still have that fear. I'm not sure if it will ever go away. Again, I have sooo many cute and neat ideas I would love to post and sell. Because heaven only knows that I could really use the money right now! But that fear is waaaay stronger.
However, I am trying with the help of a friend. She creates the character and all I do is the art. Would you like to see it? https://ko-fi.com/zero_83/shop

Can we please normalize not sending pictures of fanart directly in asks and/or submissions? Especially when it's a fandom writer sending it? Believe me - I get it. You want to show your fave writers, your moots, you friends, etc, artwork you think they'll like, artwork you think they'll love. And that's great! You should do that!
Just with a link to the artist who created it, not the picture directly or a pinterest or iheartit or tumgir or whatever other unofficial link there is. Why not those? Because the art on them is stolen and reposted art. Much like it is when you send the artwork, not the twitter or instagram or deviantart or tumblr link, directly in an ask.
I have been in the fandom community a long time as a writer (on two side blogs) and even longer just as a reader. And the one constant I have seen is that people repost fanart by sending them in asks to fandom writers. Not only is this very much not okay, it's a recurring problem. Let me clear: I am not blaming anyone. I do think it's just that, because it's being sent in an ask, no one thinks of it as reposting. But it is. It is still taking someone's art and creating a new post with it and taking away the credit from the person who worked hard on it.
And I know the thought process was probably something like "I saved it to my phone and forgot who the artist was" or "I saw it on pinterest and just saved it to send to you" but guess what? There's a way to find the artist. Reverse google image search exists and it works to find the artist a majority of the time. Also, there's a good chance that the artwork has the artist's signature/username. So you can search their username on google, twitter, instagram, tumblr, etc, and then find the art you want to send like that. If you can't find the direct link to the artist through either of these, then it's likely they deleted the art or just deactivated because people kept stealing and reposting their work.
And I mention these being sent to fandom writers specifically because, like, artists are in the same boat as you? Or, at least, they're on the same cruise line as you. If you're a fandom writer and you're going to send fanart - no link, just the picture - to another writer, if you're a writer who received fanart in an ask or submission, please stop and think about how you would feel if someone took something you wrote, something you worked hard on, and just copy-pasted it into the ask box of another, completely taking your name off it, taking away your credit, simply because they thought of someone who would enjoy it. Think about how they didn't bother to link your work, they just sent it directly.
It wouldn't feel good, right? You'd probably be mad and sad and disheartened? Disrespected, even? The same thing goes for artists. They, like writers, deserve to not have their hard work stolen and reposted, whether it's intentional or not.
This is especially important because of the fact that fanart is being sent to writers from writers and, yes, sometimes, even non-writers, but it's especially frustrating and upsetting to see when a writer sends another writer fanart in ask, instead of taking the time to find the artist link and send that, because I've seen some writers who are sent fanart make posts about accounts that have stolen and reposted their work then turn around and answer that ask with stolen artwork. Please give the artist who works just as hard as you do on the stories you write on the art they create and just, please, stop reposting it in asks.
Please take the time to find the direct link by using the google reverse image search and send that instead. If you can't find it or don't have the time to search for it, then, please, don't send it at all. This also goes for discord servers because, even though it's not reaching the thousands it could by sending it in an ask, it's still a repost and you're still taking away views and likes and retweets/reblogs from the artist who worked hard on it.
Because, if this doesn't change, if art doesn't stop getting reposted, then, like writers who have had their work stolen, the artists will deactivate and stop creating and you will be left with nothing. Or they'll probably still create but they won't share it and you will still be left with nothing. Treat artists with the respect you, as a writer, want to be given and don't repost their work, whether you're sending it or just answering what was sent to you. Put it in your rules to send a link, not fanart directly, and to not post or answer the asks that have just a picture - no link, no credit if the artist does allow reposts, no nothing.
Thank you.

your art and style are incredibly inspirational, and I was wondering the questions of how often do you make art and how long have you been at it?
Thank you!
I've been drawing since kindergarden and my skill has been considered above-average ever since I can remember. Now, I can't say the statement was accurate but it just meant I was always praised and encouraged by teachers and family alike. This isn't to brag, just to show that I got lucky and was always in an enviroment where me drawing wasnt looked down upon or seen as useless.
Now, I was a big fish in a small pond. I took art a lot more seriously when I joined online spaces, especially deviantArt back in 2013. I posted my art for a while before dropping my online presence. I just wanted to sketch and grew lazy to maintain my art account.
I rejoined the online scene in 2016, where I was on tumblr (as a lurker) and began posting in 2017. A lot of fanart and ink work as I was trying to find my style.
I posted my first character designs in that one style everyone associates me with in 2019.
All in all, I've been drawing my whole life, seriously for 9 years, and doing character design for 3.
How often do I draw?
I was NEVER the type to draw for over 3 hours straight. For personal art, I never forced myself to draw when I didn't want to. Even doing studies had to be fun for me (I wrote a post about it somewhere below). Currently I draw for work in the morning and for me in the evening.
Don't compare your journey to my own, however. I see this question asked a lot with the purpose of setting a standard. There are a lot of circumstances outside of a persons control that can influence how fast their progress is.
My advice for solid improvement tho:
-Instead of being unsure about how you want your artstyle to look like, simply consider how you want the piece you're working to end up looking. Do you want it somber? Colorful? Cartoony? Realistic? Your artstyle will show thro without you even noticing.
-References. The more advanced in art I've gotten, the more I use references.
-Surround yourself with supportive people. When you begin drawing, sharing art with friends is a lot better than sharing it on social media. The number of likes can influence your perception of skill. If you can’t find that support irl, try your luck in servers or groups (Discord and Reddit in specific subreddits ofc). Stray away from artists groups that compare their skill amongst one another or intense competition.
Thank you again for the nice message!

Hey op, sorry if this question sounds weird but I feel like I've seen you content from somewhere?? I just found a lot of similarities that rang a bell, that's all ^^'
Tumblr media
It's not a weird question at all! Don't worry, also sorry this answer is a lil late, that's my bad
I have some other accounts on Tumblr you might recognize me from, such as my main or art blogs @patiann345 and @the-good-ol-art-corner I also have a zeoworks account, PCrazyX (Yes I am a lil cringe baby I know,, It's a reference to a personal thing cause I used it as a username for an old thingy)
And then there's,, another account that I wasn't gonna reference on the blog but since we're talking about other platforms and accounts- I actually had an ask-Slendytubbies-thingy before this! On DeviantArt, cause at the time I didn't have Tumblr. It was really old and also went on a huge hiatus before I eventually canceled it. You may be thinking of that (which I hope you aren't being honest, it's really old and embarrassing to look back on adsjhgasjldg)

New Places, Friendly Faces (Sanny) Pt 1
Author (As known on Various sites): Lady Lover- Rockfic, Luluthechoosingcrow - AO3, theladylovingcrow - Deviantart and Wattpad, @sammy_bluebells - Instagram, @imacrowcawcaw - main Tumblr, @theladylovingcrow - writing/art Tumblr, @insannywestan - Sanny shipping Tumblr
Fandom: Greta Van Fleet
Pairing: Sam Kiszka/Danny Wagner (Sanny), lil bit of Danny/Ronnie but he's quickly swept away with Sam
Length: about 2k
Warnings/Tags: Alternate Universe, Diner AU, No band AU, fluff, some angst, awkwardness, first dates, you know the ones where person A's date is failing and person B comes and sits with them, sorry i forgot what its called but that, hand holding, flirting, Sanny
Summary: Danny was nervous; he had been building up the courage for *weeks* to arrange a date, and now.... He wasn't quite sure what to think of the situation he found himself in. The night certainly wasn't going as he had expected it to - and his emotions had never ridden a roller coaster this fast. Hell, the beautiful angel holding his hand wasn't even the one he had arranged to meet 2 hours ago.
Author's Notes: I don't know what inspired me to do this but I'm very very happy with how it's turning out (and I've never written a longer-ish multi chapter story before, so this is interesting!) I would hate for Danny to not know the Kiszkas growing up, but hey I think I made their first meeting pretty damn cute!
Also, just FYI this is set roughly in late January of whatever year, so the twins are supposed to be 20, Ronnie is 18 I think, Danny just turned 18, and Sam is 17 (I think I did all the math right but idk) HOWEVER it wasn't until I finished that I realized I absolutely did not make their appearances congruent with what they would have looked like then.... Sam and Danny look like 2018 ish but the twins also look like their high school selves :( Idk sorry
Also, because Sam is 17, this will not be posted on Rockfic and will be marked as underage, though I'm not planning for it to get dirty
---------------
Danny had been taping his foot for the past fifteen minutes.
He usually didn't do that, it wasn't his nervous tick of non-choice, but Michelle hadn't showed up yet, and it was nearing eight.
Checking his watch, Danny watched the hand tick to 7:58 and then looked up, peering around the restaurant he was in.
Diner, he corrected himself. It was a homey, 1960's American diner, a little more exposed timbers and bear carvings than checkered tiles and jukeboxes, but that's what you got in Michigan. The building was low and sturdy, a log structure with a river rock chimney over the grills in back. Every single wall was decorated with various signed pictures of celebrities that had passed through, local newspaper articles about Gerald and Fern's Homestyle Grill, old handsaws, vintage pop signs, and a million other trinkets and posters chosen by the owners (Gerald and Fern, he assumed, though they'd probably passed on considering how old the place looked to be).
It was a nice restaurant, Danny thought; the atmosphere was welcoming and calm despite the occasional clamor from the kitchen, and the decor was very interesting to look at. Plus, the waitress that had directed him to a window booth and brought him some water was just gorgeous.
'Don't think that! You're on a date, idiot' Danny scolded himself,  shaking his head. Well, he was technically waiting for the date to start, seeing as she hadn't showed up yet. But, he still shouldn't be admiring another girl like that when his wasn't there - that would just make him an asshole.
But maybe Michelle was a little bit of an asshole because she said she'd meet him at 7 o'clock and it was now 8:06- 'Stop. It.' Danny scolded himself again, mentally smacking himself upside the head.
'Didn't your mother ever tell you to assume the best of people?' One voice asked.
'Of course!' Another Danny answered.
'Well, then, she probably got stuck in traffic, or her dog threw up in her car, or she hit a bad pothole, or her mom made her go to the store, or-'
'Okay, I get it! She probably doesn't mean to be so late,' Danny conceded, concluding the conversation he was having with himself. Maybe the waitress was right and he had been sitting there by himself for a little too long.
Of course, being the nice girl she was, the waitress - Ronnie her name was Ronnie - had stopped by periodically whenever she had a minute to chat with him or finally bring him some coffee after he had given in to the craving.
Danny looked down at the small bouquet wilting on the table and sighed. Looked like this date was a bust, just like the few others he'd attempted, and he'd actually been very excited to see her. In fact, it was Michelle who had suggested this Gerald's Grill when he had shyly asked her out in Biology.
He had finally made up his mind to just stop wasting Ronnie's time and go home when a group of boys came trouping in, wet from the snow but in exuberant spirits and, apparently, "In great need of some refreshment, Ronnie dear!"
That made him want to pack up and get out even faster because, honestly, he didn't need any more knowing looks or judgement right now, but the last boy to walk in made him freeze with his coat halfway on.
The kid looked about Danny's age, roughly the same height but a whole lot skinnier. He had on skin tight jeans, scuffed hiking boots, and a red woolen coat. When he turned to talk to Ronnie, Danny could see the Tom Petty hoodie beneath the jacket and some silver necklaces.
'Nice,' he thought, 'seems like a cool guy: good taste in music and fashion.'
Also, 'Fucking gorgeous'.
What made him pause his leaving, though, wasnt the guy's body but his face - his sculpted brows, insanely high cheekbones, pink lips, and long lashes; all framed by the healthiest looking head of hair Danny had ever seen, second only to his own, or possibly one of the guy's he had come in with (the one who yelled for Ronnie) that had rather impressive, long curls styled to look like 70's mutton chops. There was something naggingly familiar about his features, but Danny couldn't place it.
Ronnie rolled her eyes and pointed the group of boys to a large table in the Eastern corner of the diner.
She snagged some menus and followed behind them, though another guy, this one also with long hair (he was having some competition here) grown out Justin Beiber style (okay, maybe not) said; "We don't need those, Ronnie, I'm pretty sure Sammy here has the whole menu memorized by now. Right, Sam-a-lam-a?"
The intruiging boy nodded, starting to recite off what sounded like a very accurate, detailed account of the diner's menu, prices and everything. Danny was surprised at the slight raspy, smokers quality of his voice, but it was pleasant, in a way.
After the fourth item or so, Ronnie stopped "Sammy" with a swat to the shoulder, shaking her heading and muttering "stupid genius" under her breath. He grinned up at her, wiggling his eyebrows and asking for a round of Vernors, pretty please, Ronnie-kins.
Holy shit, they were siblings! That's what had been buzzing at the back of his head for the past couple minutes; those mouths and cheekbones, seductive eyes, that lovely hair. The guy was Ronnie's brother (and no wonder he was so beautiful then).
Squinting, Danny watched the party in the corner. Two of the other guys, 70's hair and Justin Beiber (though he felt bad calling him that since he seemed cool and, hey, he'd  had the same 'do when trying to grow his out) were laughing at something Ronnie said, leaning on each other and behaving the exact same way, down to their blinks.
Twins! Danny could tell because he had two cousins, also twins, that acted exactly like that. Wait, though.... they looked awfully similar to-
More siblings?! Jesus, how many kids did this family have? He hoped the four were all, for the sake of their parents.
He guessed that the twins were a little older, so either "Sammy" or Ronnie had to be the youngest, though they all looked awfully similar in age.
'Seriously, how do their parents handle that?' Especially with the attractive, flirty twins, beautiful daughter, and the super smart supermodel - it had to be several handfuls raising a house like that. Danny suddenly felt a bit more sympathy for his parents, even with just having to deal with him and his little sister.
Ronnie sashayed away, calling over her shoulder for the boys to keep it down. They all hooted and hollered in response, seeing as Danny was the only other patron to bother at the moment.
Danny slowly sat back down, curious as to what interesting conversations he would hear from the group. The twin with curly hair was currently talking to a larger guy on the other side of the table about the "carefully curated sensuality" of Led Zeppelin's Prescence, which alone made him want to stay.
Not to mention, he could continue to observe the hot guy that was immediately fascinating him like few people did. Danny wasn't deluded enough to think it was love at first sight - though it was definitely a fair amount of lust - but there was something about the other boy that made him want to track his every move down to the blinking of his eyes.
"Woah there, creepy much? Chill out, he probably doesn't even like guys anyways," Danny muttered to himself, hoping that his staring wasn't obvious enough to make "Sammy" aware of it. He loved to people watch - and admire, but hated the uncomfortable confrontation of acknowledging that he had been doing so.
Supermodel boy twisted in his chair, looking at one of the many things on the wall - though it made Danny's breath catch because, could he tell? - when he caught Danny's eye. He smiled at Danny, making him smile a little tightly and nod in return.
At that moment, Ronnie came out of the back with a platter of glass pop bottles and a notebook tucked into her apron pocket, using her hip to close the swinging half-door to the area behind the counter. She smiled at Danny as he passed, murmuring a soft "I'll be right back with you," before continuing on to her brothers' table.
Gorgeous boy laughed - a surprisingly obnoxious, though maybe endearing, braying one - and reached out a fine boned hand, plucking a bottle from the tray before she could set it down. He took a long swallow, throat visibly working and eyes half closed, head tipped back. Danny quickly averted his own eyes unless he started drooling onto the tabletop.
Ronnie came over to him after a minute, refilling his coffee and insisting that she get him a piece of pie, on the house. He didn't have the heart to tell her no, not after more than an hour of sitting there pitifully, and especially not now that he knew her gorgeous brothers (or at least one of them, the prettiest, too) knew he was there. It would be incredibly embarrassing for them to know that he was stood up and alone; Danny wanted to give off a good impression, for some reason.
Ronnie walked away again, hips swaying, and disappeared into the back. "Sammy" laughed at the table in the corner and Danny's eyes shot to him, watching how he played with his straw between those two pillowy lips.
He started sweating a little bit, considering who he thought was more attractive (not like either of them would be interested in him, but). Ronnie was curvy and kind and beautiful, but Sam was lean and charismatic and had the most lovely facial structure Danny had ever seen.
'Ugh, bisexual problems', Danny thought. No one else would have know what he was talking about if they were there, though, since he had never mentioned it to his parents nor his few friends.
He wondered, idly - because he really was out of their league and it would never, ever happen - what his family would think if he brought either of them home. Ronnie would be sure to elicit absolute delight from his mother after her admonishment for getting a girlfriend in the first place (despite the fact that he was allowed to do what he wanted now that he was 18, Danny's mom still saw him as her little boy). Ronnie's brother, he wasn't sure; it's not like they were homophobic, but Danny was certain that him bringing home a guy out of nowhere would be quite the shock.
They'd warm up to Sam (he didn't want to call him "Sammy"; it felt too familiar to he polite, though he did like that), he was sure. His parents would be impressed by his intelligence and be charmed by his jokes, and tell Danny that they were glad he had found such a nice boyfriend.
Danny drifted off into a daydream of what it would be like to date Sam, to take him to family holiday meals and go out hiking with him and cuddle up on a late winter afternoon like this one. He rested his head on his hand, letting his eyes go unfocused as he envisioned the imaginary world in which he had an 11/10 boyfriend.
"Hey, I've got your pie. Mind if I sit and eat mine with you?"
