When Summoned: So, this is the Land of Dawning National Art Museum. This should be the perfect place to work on my imagination.
Summon Line: I am not an art aficionado, but as I have been tasked with being a supporter, I will fulfill this duty to the best of my abilities. I hope to not disappoint.

Home Idle - Groovy: It is thanks to Azul that I've thought of another good way to train myself. I'll have to look into making a board game as soon as I can.
Home Tap 1: This outfit is much too dazzling. When I wear it, I become silver from head to toe... It suits me? Well, that's good then.
Home Tap 2: Sculpting not only requires a good artistic sense, but also the muscle strength and stamina to carve heavy stone or wood. I bet it would be a good training method.
Home Tap 3: Epel was telling me just how cool he found the heroes depicted in the paintings. I can empathize with his feelings.
Home Tap 4: I hear that the Lord of the Underworld was pretty loquacious. I'd like to learn how to be more like him, but I'm not sure what kind of training I should do to become a more capable speaker.
Home Tap 5: It is said that the Sea Witch could captivate people with her beautiful singing voice. It would be nice to listen to one of her songs to hear what it was like.

OK some things about Greece's Marina Satti results and we're done with this
JK I am not done with Marina I love her but we're done with the circus Marina was in, for another year
So, she is a perfectionist but I hope she will soon understand how much SHE SUCCEEDED. And it will look like a love delirium but no I am not being biased.
Marina Satti got 11th place. Missed Top 10 by one. She was basically killed by the juries.
In the televoting she won 8th place. So she was in the top 10 of all people's votes. She was also 8th in the votes from the Rest of the World, which is a big deal in my opinion.
I won't be mad at the juries because their voting overall made sense in many ways and we were aware that Zari was a not jury-friendly song in any way. It had zurna, it had rap, obviously juries don't go for this stuff. So, it's okay. We knew that.
BUT Marina Satti got 8th - 11th place:
By singing exclusively in the Greek language.
By singing in an entirely Balkan, eastern melody during a year that a lot of the Balkans and East Europe had withdrawn from the contest.
By kinda rapping / reggaetoning, which is generally hated in Eurovision.
By doing exactly her thing, despite knowing how much she would be fought by certain people.
By knowingly choosing the very risky song instead of a ballad and a typical dance song that she also had available as options.
By not trying to be "understood" and get sympathy votes.
By being given a tiny budget from the Greek delegation, much smaller than any previous years including to last year's NQ lame tycoon nephew entry. So GD gave a famous artist like Marina much less money than to those small unknown kids that had gone before her. WTF
By being hated for her song and her (genius) music video and a large percentage of the population writing in English and asking foreigners to not vote for her and blaming her for insulting Greece, Greek culture etc (HINT: No she did not insult it and a blog called gemsofgreece tells you that so relax) and insulting her, her morals, her family, her father's descent and her talent relentlessly for three months
By the unprecedented thing of the freaking SHOWBIZ of the country making openly insulting attacks against her and her song. Like, seriously, there were FAMOUS celebrities going on TV and calling her song "cat vomit", a fashion designer (before her dress choice lol) saying she should go to Eurovision naked because there's no other hope for her to get votes. I am serious. You might say, oh, she must have done something. NO. Guys, no. She has never said or done anything wrong to any celebrity in the country as far as I am aware. She was attacked by musicians, fashion designers, TV shows and honestly nobody knows why. It's a different thing to not like something than to get a polemic position openly as a celebrity against another famous person. This has never happened before, I don't remember anything like this. Celebrities shitting on another artist's effort out of nowhere, especially in advance. To put it simply, now that Marina will have to return to Greece (poor thing), she has good reasons to sue half the country.
By losing her father one month ago.
By getting pretty ill during the semi-final, losing her voice and being administrated medication every three hours.
By suffering chronically from severe anxiety, which is why she refused three prior propositions from the Greek delegation to represent the country.
Well, by receiving a new massive wave of hate from people from or supporting Israel and the Greek government controlled media and press, who all started a fierce campaign against her the last two days before the final. The reason was that she showed intentionally boredom / sleepiness during the time the Israeli contestant was speaking. Make of that what you will, I am only presenting the facts of how her placement was formed here. Many Jewish people
wrote they had voted her in the semi but now they wouldn't. I believe because Israel is an eastern country, probably several people of Jewish descent voted for her and then all those votes were lost. It's no matter, I am just explaining that she would probably otherwise be 7th in the televoting, 10th overall. Here we analyze if Marina succeeded her goal, we don't nitpick for Eurovision's sake.
And as you see, she succeeded. With all the odds against her, with a LOT of people hating her and making her life harder and her effort impossible, with the loss of her father, she succeeded in her vision. Bring back Greek language, the eastern sound and having the world dance with it. Shoutout to Armenia who also succeeded in this and made top 10, the song was a little more conventional. Let's be real, Satti achieved all this with a VERY difficult song. The definition of a difficult song and in a little known language. Nothing else, just congratulations to her and I hope she realises all this and does not let her trademark anxiety and perfectionism get the better of her. Also, she really created an international fan community with this and I think there are good things coming for her in the future :)))))
PS1: Odds had her 8th-10th place but they underestimated the juries and the last day's hate she got. In general odds were not very successful this year.
PS2. No worries Greek and Cypriot televoting exchanged the 12 points again :D
PS3: to the ageist haters who wondered why she looks 20 though she is 38, kitties reach her age and you will be crying to look like her
PS4: Marina’s 8th place in televoting was the best placement since 2013, surpassing Amanda and Stefania with the English jury friendly songs 😃😃😃 Greek delegation take a bloody hint

hello yttd fans. i really dislike making posts such as these, but i believe many of you do not realize how discourteous you're being and i would like to bring that to your attention for... well, everyone's sakes.
to preface, the your turn to die tags are intended for searching for fan content. this includes:
- fan art, writing, sculptures, knitting, etc. various art forms which feature some level of yttd theming
- theories/speculation, commentary, etc. (likely accompanied by screenshots or official artwork)
- headcanons, be it drawn or simply compiled in a post
- aus/crossovers based upon the main game
- edits
- so on; just most things that draw from and extrapolate upon yttd, really.
+ ytts tags may have overlap in the yttd tag. this is understandable, as it as an offshoot of the main game.
this does not mean that every single post you make on yttd must be constructive -- i've certainly had times i only wanted to share a cute sketch nankidai made, with little additional commentary. but the difference here is what you choose to maintag, and how often you do so. there are some posts which, frankly, do not need to be maintagged. i'm not telling you to delete them, just not to spam the main tag with them.
many of the current 'daily' yttd blogs in particular have dismissed this. if you intend to post daily, you must realize that you will be interacting with the search tag incessantly. typically, i'd have no issue with this! i love seeing the yttd tag blow up, as it did with the minisodes, ytts, or the chapter updates! it was nice seeing everyone reinvolve themselves, if only briefly.
however, when the tag is overwhelmed by 'daily' blogs which are only ever posting official content that has been out for years -- that is when i take issue. people should not have to avoid the yttd tag simply because it's difficult to comb through for actual art and the like they're searching for; they shouldn't have to block another five blogs to make it useable.
you are overwriting many people's other posts, and with recent tumblr developments, sometimes the search tags have a limited amount of posts they will show - which applies even after you have blocked people. all you will find is a screenshot along the lines of this:

now, i understand that some people might not be sure what to share, in which case i'd ask you to sit on that before you begin posting on a blog that warrants daily interaction! in general, planning out exactly what you intend to post beforehand is probably a good idea: whether it's edits, headcanons, art, so on...! i'm sure there's something of your own you can showcase & add in your individual flair for your blogs! i don't intend to turn you away from the yttd tag entirely, but i know there's more unique you can add on your own instead of simply reposting the yttd game, one frame at a time... (an exaggeration, but i do hope you understand my point.)
- for example, if it's a case of you not being confident in your art, or feeling as if you need prompts to draw. here is some advice!!
{ confidence } - you should still practice! although it may be discouraging not having people reblog your art as often, it's nonetheless a step in the right direction! hell, i've seen some beginner artists who already show tons of potential: despite their insecurities about linework, they'd have amazing colors; or despite their colors feeling flat, they're slowly trying to hammer away at intriguing or symbolic composition. honing this is what's truly important, and i'm sure the right audience will eventually begin to recognize and appreciate the effort you've put into it.
{ prompts } - in this case, it may very well be fitting to make an introduction post asking for requests! but - if that doesn't work out, there's always option b) searching out prompt generators! or, finding lists of prompts somewhere on tumblr. there were many roleplayers who used to use these for writing, but you could still draw out the scenarios!
all in all, it's just important to find your niche! i don't have a good conclusion to this post. just please be mindful of not spamming the tag in this way. there are other ways to contribute/be known without frustrating other fans... thank you if you've read this post in full.

🤩 Who is your favorite character to write?
Since I talked about Chuuya in the other ask I just answered, here I will talk about Dazai — because honestly I love writing them both, just in different ways :0
If the Howl AU was me digging into Chuuya’s character, the equivalent for Dazai is probably the “This is how it feels to take a fall” fic— despite the fact that a good portion of it isn’t actually in his POV. I think Dazai is a really interesting character to show from other people’s perspectives, because he has so many layers of masks that even his sincerity can be distrusted, just from sheer contamination by all his bullshit.
…Now, big qualifier that this is how I personally tend to interpret his character, but I do like to characterize him as being not actually that complex beneath all his facetiousness. Yes, he’s clever, but his successes have always come across to me as being more a matter of information gathering, lots of contingency plans, and a fair amount of luck, rather than superhuman genius. I mean, if he was infallible then a) he would have been able to magically figure out that Chuuya was Arahabaki in Fifteen instead of being surprised as he was, b), he would have known exactly what Chuuya was going to choose at the end of Stormbringer instead of preparing backup plans in case Chuuya decided not to fight, and c) he would have been able to prevent the Mimic incident before it got to the point of Oda dying.
Anyway this has turned into a ramble, but basically I just really enjoy writing his character from that perspective. In “This is how it feels to take a fall” I wanted it to be clear that he was backsliding into his old patterns of behavior due to sheer desperation, and that that wasn’t a good thing for him or anyone else around him. Yes, he managed to save Chuuya, but he caused a lot of collateral damage while doing so, and he’s going to have to work through that emotional burden and figure out ways to make amends for that.
In the end, he’s a character who changed his entire life’s trajectory just because of a promise he made to his friend! When that’s kept central to his character, I think he’s really compelling.
🦅 Do you outline fics or fly by the seat of your pants?
Kind of a combination of both! My first three fics I barely planned at all before diving straight in, whereas the little mermaid AU, this is how it feels to take a fall, and the Howl AU (and now the skyline pigeon fic, too) have all required more planning. That said, I don’t think my outlines can entirely be considered as proper outlines because I am not the most organized person in the world — and I frequently have to change things around while writing because I’ll get to a part where I think “this wouldn’t make sense for this character right now actually” and i find it’s better to switch gears rather than forcing it.
Examples of my “outlines” from my note files (a bit of the Howl AU but mostly the little mermaid AU because I was losing my mind planning that one out)

Something I noticed about Haruka's change in t2 is that he says he likes the way he is now and supposedly gained more confidence, but the rest of his answers in seasons 2's interrogation are still self deprecating. Saying how no one is like him cause "no one is likehim cause they are all great people, everything (about him) is wrong, etc.". My guess is what he gained wasn't confidence, it was his innocent vote and Muu's influence that temporarily rubbed off on him. Think about it: Muu's personality did a whole 180 when she was voted innocent. She went from being shy and timid to becoming a queen bee which is what her 'true personality' is. Haruka, while he learned to become more social, was still unsure of himself. He couldn't fathom why someone like him was forgiven (what he sings in akaa) but still takes it. But why?
Cause it's what Muu does. They were both given an inch and took a mile
It's pretty clear Haruka is heavily attached to Muu (he even says his current self only exists because of her), but I think Muu influenced him to think that forgiven = what he did wasn't wrong. Since it seems like it is also her own mindset. But before, Haruka knew what he did was wrong and felt remorse, while Muu always thought she was in the right cause (her words: It's your fault for doing horrible things to me)
Also, confident people do not form unhealthy attachments like this and threaten to kts for someone else. Haruka did not gain confidence, he gained temporary relief from someone else
And this isn't to say Muu is abusive or doesn't care about Haruka at all, but it's still so incredibly unnerving to influence someone that's already broken like this
Thank you so much for this. I've wanted to talk about this for a while, I feel like the fandom overlooks just how deeply Muu influenced (and probably continues to influence unless their codependency starts to break in T3) Haruka. Not that shes evil or abusive or anything of the sort, but unfortunately their attachment styles create the most awfully perfectly fitting puzzle piece
Haruka looks down on himself so much, he wants more than anything to be a "smart, strong and interesting person" in his own words. As a result he is constantly searching for someone to latch onto and mirror, trying to create a new identity for himself, because he just doesn't see any part of himself that is worth keeping (BPD Haruka headcanon comes in...) Haruka still believes he's wrong, that he's worthless, but he's desperately looking for any solace albeit temporary or fake. A confirmation bias I think?
Something that comes into mind when proving this point, is that when Muu talked about Kotoko's attacks in her 2nd VD, she mentioned that those who were attacked were "deemed bad people by the Guard" as in they were scary and cruel, but Es, who so kindly believed that Muu wasn't at fault by giving her an innocent verdict, had deemed those people at fault, so they kinda deserved it, in her view. When Haruka was asked about what he thought of Kotoko's attacks, he said something similar, but then we see him in Mikoto's 2022 birthday TL coming to check up on him, showing compassion, wanting to wish him a happy birthday, even though Mikoto was voted guilty in T1, he should be a bad person in Haruka's book as well, but I think that shows he doesn't really believe what Muu was saying, he just doesn't think of his opinions as worthy so he latches onto those of the people he looks up to, the authority figures (Muu, Es) (I could talk about this for a while...). Also, in the newest collab, one of Haruka's lines were "Mikoto-san is a good person" but I'm not sure exactly when in the canon timeline that takes place (as in, before or after T2) (I'M SORRY I JUST HAVE TO BRING UP 0109 SIBLINGS HERE THEIR DYNAMIC IS SO IMPORTANT TO ME)
I do think Muu feels guilt and is just as broken, just in different ways, and she copes with her own issues differently, but I won't go offtopic... but yes I completely agree with what youre trying to say here. That Haruka is largely under Muu's influence, and it's heartbreaking. I often think about how an innocent verdict in T1 without Muu's influence would've helped Haruka gain some actual confidence and maybe even start to develop some sense of identity and independence. When I see Haruka T2, when I listen to his VD, his MV, all I see is... not Haruka. As in, Haruka under someone else's influence, breaking even more. It's not either of their faults, again! But god is this codependency going to take a toll on him for a while.
Like, come on, you can't tell me the boy who gives the most birthday wishes, says that all the prisoners are good people unlike him, says he would forgive everyone but certainly not himself, is a confident, guilt-free person. I don't know if it's just me but even his smile in his T2 sprite feels so... forced...? My poor poor boy.

I started getting into fear and hunger(currently only first game + trying to start playing Termina), and i had an idea about certain status effect, that could be added, or in general would be cool to see in the game
That being: dissociation!
(more info below. Take all this as you will, this is just some random thing i came up with in five minutes)
((it took forever to write all this))
If applied to enemies: will either stun them for 1-4 turns, lowering their evasion, or will make them perform random action if the enemy in question can perform different actions(that includes coin flip attack). If the enemy can't do any actions(or doesn't have a head, but still fighting, like ghouls do) the effect won't appear, or will disappear if enemy had it
If applied on you, or characters in your party during combat: with random chance, character with this status will either perform random action for 1-4 turns(those being: attack, using random skill, using item) or will completely stun them for 1-4 turns
If applied to you or party members out of combat, the characters will do one of those few things: randomly stop for a few seconds, just staring ahead, before shaking their head and continuing to walk/follow the mc; will wander off for a few moments(similarly to low sanity events, certain party members can stop eachother from wandering off); will mutter something while staring at the distance, or random object; will use random item
Now, comes the question, how would you apply this to enemies, to yourself or your party members?
1. For you and your party, the simpliest way to get this effect would be getting very low sanity(30 and below). This this permanent affect, that will worsen, two times, getting in total of 3 stacks. The more stacks, the higher chances of characters in your party doing random bullshit, and possibly getting themselves killed, in and out of battle. There will be messages for when your party members would get this status effect, and during it's progression. Here they are:
Cahara:
Cahara's stare seemed to be less focused on things around him(dissociation appearing, 1 stack of dissociation. If attempt to talk, will get startled, like he forgot you existed. Will try to shake off his state like it's nothing)
Cahara doesn't seem to fully comprehend his surroundings or you/Cahara's gaze seems distand(2 stack of dissociation. If attempt to talk, will just stare blanky at you, only muttering to himself. If attempt to talk again, will simply ask you what you want and then will quickly add that he's fine, obviously failing to convince you with this)
Cahara doesn't seem to react to anything around him/Cahara's gaze is unnervingly emtpy(3 stack of dissociation. Won't react if attempt to talk. If item to restore sanity is used, and will attempt to talk after, will be just muttering something to himself, along the lines of him not being able make sense of his surroundings. If attempt to talk again, will finally start talking, but will be rather confused, about where he is, and what's going on)
D'arce:
D'arce seems to walk slower, her steps less careful(dissociation appearing, 1 stack of dissociation. If attempt to talk, will shake her head, and apologise for slowing you down, saying she got lost in her thoughts for a moment)
D'arce hold on her weapon is loose, it's almost slipping out of her hands/D'arce looks around with each step, seemingly unable to focus on anything (2 stack of dissociation. If attempt to talk, will just stare somewhere, or rather through you. If try to talk again, will seemingly snap out of her previous state, saying she didn't noticed you at first)
D'arce doesn't react to any noise around her/D'arce stares blankly at you(3 stack of dissociation. If attempt to talk, at first, won't talk, just stare, seemingly at nothing. If attempt to talk again, after giving sanity restoring item, will keep muttering something, about her getting confused, and getting sloppy. If attempt to talk again, will get startled, by sudden noise, but will calm down once she realises it's you, but will be pretty confused about what's going on)
Enki:
Enki seems to be mumbling something to himself (dissociation appearing, 1 stack of dissociation. If attempt to talk, will ignore you, before finally asking what you want from him, with some annoyance)
Enki is deep in thought about something barely reacting to anything/Enki keeps clutching his head, mumbling something(2 stack of dissociation. If attempt to talk will ignore you. If attempt to talk again, will just stare at you with confused expression, before telling you to leave him alone)
Enki doesn't react to anything at all/Enki keeps quietly repeating sometimes to himself (3 stack of dissociation. If attempt to talk, will just keep repeating something under his breath, that player seemingly can't understand. If attempt to talk again, after giving mind restoring item, will mutter something a bit louder about his head becoming a mess. If attempt to talk again, will stop talking to himself and just say in annoyance that he's fine and will ask to be left alone)
Ragnvaldr:
Ragnvaldr seems unusualy twitchy(dissociation appearing, 1 stack of dissociation. If attempt to talk, will reassure you that he's fine, and will dismiss any further attempts of asking about his state)
Ragnvaldr looks confused about what's happening around him/Ragnvaldrs gaze seems to be focused on the ground(2 stacks of dissociation. If attempt to talk at first, won't say anything, just stare at you, seemingly confused. If attempt to talk again, will finally focus his attention on you, saying his head feels heavy)
Ragnvaldr keeps mindlessly looking around/Ragnvaldr stares blankly at the ground(3 stacks of dissociation. If attempt to talk will just stare at the group. If attempt to talk again, after mind restoring item is given, will mutter something about his head spinning and feeling heavy. If attempt to talk again, will snap out of this state, saying he lost focus of things)
2. How would you apply this state to enemies?
This is one of those states that can only be applied through spells. In this case, the spell being "mind break", costing 10/15 sanity(not sure about it's sanity cost yet). This effect can be stacked on enemies up to 3 stacks total, and only will be removed once the enemy looses their head. After head loss, this status effect can't be applied again(i don't think i need to explain why)
Boss-wise, yes, it can be used on their different body parts, not just their head, to put on the effect. It won't work on regular, weaker enemies this way(technically, because well. They're weak. And already mentally destroyed. You can't damage their mind any further by any means. This doesn't exactly applies to most bosses and gods, so you can use the spell, to put the effect on them)
3. The spell can be learned through empty scrolls, book of Mind Destruction, or by talking with special npc. The npc in question would be seen wandering around different parts of the dungeon. You could either get them as a party member, them having mind break and healing whispers already learned, or attack them, getting book of Mind Breaking after searching them or by stealing from them. If you talk with them, after some talking, they will agree to teach you the spell, in exchange for some food or sanity restoring item. What to give, is up to the player, but it doesn't really matter what you give, since you learn the spell either way
What enemies would be able to apply dissociation? I'll leave it up to imagination of those who will read all this crap :33

I recall from one of your previous postings that you are particularly fond of cats, and am interested in your opinions on other animals commonly kept for human companionship. What are your thoughts on dogs? Horses? Rodents? Birds and reptiles?
I would assume that last one would have interesting twofold connotations given your status as a law student, due to these creatures' association with the legal profession - the epithet of "legal eagle" on the positive side, and all the jokes about snakes and crocodilians' show of professional courtesy on the negative. As an enthusiast of all things reptile related, I feel it is a reputation undeserved by these misunderstood, scaly creatures... as well as those aspiring to take on careers in law, very important for society...
But I digress. Lastly, I would also take it that, for rather obvious reasons, you don't really like fish, the way they remind you of a certain someone...

Despite, as you noted correctly, being fascinated by cats, I am not that fond of most domestic animals, and my liking for cats is simply an amusing exception. However, there are still some species that I could call charming and interesting in ways different from keeping them as pets.
The first animal that came to mind was a graceful black panther. Ever since I was a kid, I thought of panthers as majestic, powerful guardians, trustworthy leaders, and dangerous vigilantes. They might not represent justice in the traditional sense of court cases and hour-long debates, but if one crosses their road, they should be wary of seeing their eyes shine in the dark when the night falls.
On the other hand, I could never resist swift, elegant antelopes' beauty. As someone who has always strived for success and improvement, their efortless endurance and resilience resonated with me; antelopes are in a constant state of action, awareness, and searching for new paths, opportunities. For me, they are a symbol of motivation and energy.
As my final point, I would like to mention swans. Even though they are often depicted as an embodiment of love, from swan figurines being placed on wedding cakes to towel swans on hotel beds, these birds have always struck me as an exquisite representation of change. On another note, the concept of a swan song has captivated me ever since I learned what the expression meant. It is impossible to deny that I spent hours considering what my swan song could possibly be, and to tell the truth, I still think about it from time to time.
Unfortunately, I do not have a strong stance on reptiles. They are the most beautiful when admired from afar, and their quiet deadliness amazes me; snakes in particular have been painted as villains since the beginning of time, so despite me condemning the demonization of reptiles, I understand why people have those... preconcieved notions about them.
Keeping rodents and other smaller animals as pets does not make much sense to me. For me, it would be impossible to love something that is barely capable of communicating its needs. These fluff balls always seemed closer to decor than to actual companions.
As for fish, I would not say that a certain someone you mentioned has enough influence over me to make me actively dislike fish. Marine species look magnificent in acquariums when the interior is done right, and personally, I do not mind fish... served with a tasteful side dish, that is.

I'm kinda new to fanfiction (not that I didnt know it existed but I literally have never seen or engaged with any until like a month ago lol) and so I just wanted to get your perspective on something I dont really understand yet. I'm autistic so I guess sometimes it's just hard for me to see/imagine characters as anything but how they are in canon, but I understand that it would be totally boring to write fanfic that only follows canon! I kinda see fanfic as that writers version of the character, like that's your specific version of Dabi and other writers have their versions of Dabi and maybe they're completely different 🤔 and I guess in my head it made more sense to me to just make a new character to make them exactly how you want and then you wouldn't have to worry about canon at all lol (because my mind wont let me see characters differently sometimes) but I get it now that you explained :) so if you dont mind me asking in your au's what happened differently in dabi/ touyas life to make him a sexual person? In canon I dont really see Dabi as a sexual person like he couldn't be bothered with relationships or anything sexual, like I almost see him as being asexual. hello again!! c: oh i’m glad i could help! <3 i mean, ultimately, just like all other fiction, it’s all personal preference. some people only like to read in-canon fic and some people only like to read AUs and some people like both, etc etc etc and it’s all totally and completely fine! i think you seeing fanfic as that specific writer’s version of a character/characters makes complete sense and, in a way, is also true—we are each expressing our own interpretations of him! so i absolutely get where you’re coming from there c: and i think your reasoning for being confused makes sense, too!
oh that’s a good question! unfortunately, i don’t have an answer for you, though, because i personally have always interpreted canon dabi as someone who would use casual sex (and drugs!) to try (and fail) to fill the gaping void in his chest. it is 100% fine if you disagree with me, and i will always encourage anyone to interpret any character however they’d like to. the beauty with art and fiction is that there’s technically no wrong answer to a lot of this stuff—if you personally see dabi as someone who is asexual, then he is asexual! if i see him as a sexual being, then he is a sexual being! we can have our own conflicting views on him and who he is, because he isn’t real, and he can be whoever we want him to be. does that make sense? let me know if you have any other questions or something seems unclear and i will try my best to further explain myself! <3

very funny (read: very annoying and bad) that certain subsects of the fandom were like "see, people hating on ashton proves that misogyny in the cr fandom isn't real and you're all just a bunch of liars!" but the second imogen is dismissive towards the gods or kinda jerky to her friends the hate for her fucking quintupled in the tag.
yeah lol. i've talked before about the subsection of this fandom (and many fandoms) which mostly stans for the female PCs/female player's PCs and will be super harsh on the male PCs/male player's PCs in turn, and how i find these people kind of exhausting and hypocritical. but there's also definitely a group that does the reverse of this. partially as a reaction to the first group, and then the first group reacts to the second, and they exist together in a shitty ouroboros of takes where a significant part of the analysis is influenced by the desire to Win At Discourse. this includes accusations of misogyny, which doesn't actually belong to any one take or interpretation or fan group but influences and permeates any space. conversely misandry is not any sort of real pervasive issue as much as it is an aspect of the larger problem of both of these perspectives, which is that they ultimately reinforce the essentialist, binary understanding of gender they're intending to combat. tries to do away with it entirely, ends up living as an inversion of it, thus continuing to refer to it indirectly, etc.
but anyways, that first group got to spend the last month acting like Fearne was a helpless victim of a manipulative, heartless Ashton who can't possibly be expected to take literally any responsibility for her actions. so now it's the second groups turn to be annoying!

thinking about how in s4 sayid and desmond were stuck on the damb freighter and technically all they had was each other and how desmond managed to keep so much hope within him in the present because of penny (who believed him and didn't give up on him) and sayid was the one who helped desmond connect to her
and how in s6 the thing that snaps sayid out of his weird catatonic state was confronting desmond in the well which turns into desmond confronting him about whether or not what he is doing is worth it
sayid helps desmond become himself again by helping him reconnect with penny—the woman he loves, arguably the only reason that kept him going, the very thing he held onto to keep living. and desmond helps sayid become himself again by helping him realize that even if sayid is able to bring back and be with "the woman he loved", at what cost would that be?

“Hey,” Rosé cooed, coming up behind Denali, who stood at the kitchen counter, staring down at his drink and watching the bubbles rise to the top of the glass, in a trance, “what’s going on today? You’ve been quiet.”
Denali turned in his arms, eyes downcast as he shrugged. “Don’t know, just kinda off today, I guess.”
It wasn’t an often occurrence to see Denali have off days, neither of them would’ve considered it much of a “problem”, but Rosé hated it nonetheless, watching Denali get lost in his head and ruminate over things he got too tongue tied to share out loud.
Rosé crooned at him, stroking his cheeks, watching them flush a dusty pink, pretty eyes fluttering shut as Rosé petted him gently. “How can I help you, baby? Tell daddy what you need.”
He looked up at him, eyes shiny. “Can you just- can we-?”
He struggled to find the words, but Rosé understood, humming and bringing him forward for a kiss. “Shh, baby, let daddy help you get rid of all the bad thoughts, yeah?”
Denali felt himself started to slip, so easily handing himself over to Rosé, a quiet “ok,daddy,” leaving his lips before Rosé was taking him by the hand and leading him upstairs.
Upstairs, Rosé was so gentle with him, laying him down and derobing him as slow as possible and making sure to kiss every new exposed part of his body. Kisses across his cheeks and nose, his shoulders, down his chest and across his tummy, each palm and fingertip showered with love.
When he finished showering Denali in love, he crawled back up to him, planting a kiss on his lips. He inched his hand down Denali’s torso, drumming his fingers right above the lacy waistband of his panties.
“Can I?” He asked sweetly, sliding his hand inside when Denali nodded in agreement, hands already grasping the sheets.
Rosé slid his hand inside Denali’s panties, stroking him gently and watching him whine and almost open his mouth to beg.
