HONEYS IT GIRL MAGAZINE february edition⋆.ೃ࿔*:･🎀

this is a new thing im doing on my blog that i think you'd all like very much called honeys magazine/catalog. basically like a monthly inside scoop on data that i've collected, things i've learned/started doing, and just general info like that organized in kind of a teen-magazine inspired fashion. a magazine for it girls ✨

i've had so much fun putting together the february catalog and i'd love to hear feedback of things that you'd like to see in the next edition. and now, please enjoy the it girl magazine ✨

FEBRUARY FASHION ;

february is full of silks and lace. feminine muted colors like beiges, whites, and pinks. this february i've rly been into tweed dresses. accessories that i've been loving this february include pearls, stockings, and ribbons.

a lot of the clothes that i've been eyeing are things that are more light in fabric and in color. such as cute camisoles with lace trim and i've rly been into the chic look this february as i've mentioned before.

when it comes to jewelry and accessories i always love to layer and be excessive and even though during february i've been obsessed with the chic look, i always add lots of accessories. if not something huge like bracelets or necklaces, i'll be excessive with rings or something smaller.

in general HYPERFEMININE and super cute and girly clothes have been my favorite thing in february especially cuz of valentines day. the theme is soft-wear. shimmery, sheer, and showered in flowers.

remember those dress up games you may have used to play when u were little? when dressing this february, thats what inspired my february fashion. fluffy lashes, cutesy accessories and heels.

i read up a lot on CHANEL bcuz i think that her brand embodies the chic look perfectly and here are some fashion tips from coco chanel (this is my source)

look for the woman in the dress, if there is no woman then there is no dress - basically means dont let your clothes wear you

it is always better to be slightly underdressed - coco's understanding of chic was subtle glamor and lush fabrics

fashion changes but style endures - some clothes are timeless like a little black dress (aubrey hepburn) a quality handbag and a crisp white shirt

WHAT IM LISTENING TO LATELY ;

my favorite album of this month is kali uchis's orquídeas. i absolutely adore her music, energy and vibe. and the whole album is just MWAH. my favorite songs from the album are ;

FOR THE BLOG ;

since its going to be march and were kinda transitioning from the winter season -> spring, you can expect to see lots of spring related content from me. another thing that i rly wanna set up for my blog is membership if thats something that u guys'd be interested in.

and also after doing the valentines day challenge, i had so much fun with it and i kinda wanna do more challenges. so if i end up setting up membership i think services like those would be provided.

lastly, since im an advocate for not over consuming the law, i won't be answering inbox questions about the law so that then u guys can focus ENTIRELY on ur manifestations and not over complicate it bcuz the law is easy and you already know how to do it + if u have any general questions i've answered plenty of questions about the law in my blog ANYWAYS. the reason im doing this is so that then you can focus on your manifestations 🫶🏽 and i hope that you guys find it helpful.

HONEYS BEAUTY CORNER TOPIC - HYDRATION ;

when your skin is hydrated, you GLOW on such a deeper level and i absolutely love looking and feeling like a little dew drop so here's some hydration beauty tips

vasline is an occlusive, that simply means that the moisturizing ingredients that create a physical barrier on the skin to prevent transepidermal water loss and lock in hydration. after brushing ur lips to exfoliate, u can just go in and put some vaseline on ur lips and your lips will be HYDRATED.

using a body oil + a body lotion has taken my hydration game to new HEIGHTS. the key to this is to make sure the scents match or have similar notes at least, and moisturize DAMP skin so that then it can absorb better. walk around with a hand lotion, and lip moisturizer ALWAYS.

the key to a dewey makeup look is having a good base. its all about preparing the skin before u put the makeup on. use a good creamy moisturizer and use a glowy spf and then use a good primer.

FOR THE WELLNESS GIRLIES ;

hormone balancing tea blend that i tried and loved ; raspberry leaf tea with spearmint and dandelion root tea. i drink mine with honey a couple days before and during my period and my cramps have been so minimal and my hormones have been so balanced.

hydration ; to follow the trend of the beauty section lets talk hydration. the optimal amount of water to drink is 2.7 liters a day. if u wanna up your hydration game, use some liquid iv or another hydrating powder so that then u can get the most out of ur water. if u dont have anything like that, adding a pinch of salt into your water can also help to improve hydration.

frequencies and vibes ; i've been interested in frequencies lately, simply bcuz i think that they're so interesting. i'll go deeper into frequencies in the next section. but here are some frequencies to listen to for wellness ;

174 hz - reduces physical and energetic pain

285 hz - heals tissues and rejuvenates

432 hz - restores well being and releases emotional blockages

528 hz - love frequency, induces inner peace and repairs DNA

supplements that are geared towards beauty ; find a specific hair, skin and nails supplement or vitamin that includes a blend of powerful antioxidants, minerals and vitamins. some examples of this are ;

fish oil (omega 3 and fatty acids) helps to protect skin against inflammation

collagen (for skin hair and nails) promotes healthy dewy and glowing skin

turmeric (anti inflammatory effects)

RANDOM THINGS I LEARNED ;

something thats caught my interest this month is sound healing. the power of sound is truly amazing, and i was curious specifically about frequencies. sound healing has been around for years by yogis for thousands of years. nowadays sound healing is practiced with something called sound baths.

a sound bath is a deeply relaxing experience where the listener lies down on a mat or blanket, with as many cushions or props as they need to feel comfortable, and is then ‘bathed’ in the sound vibrations. benefits of sound baths include ;

reduced stress, pain and anxiety

better sleep

lower blood pressure

fewer mood swings

balanced hormones

healing through sounds was practiced by ancient egyptians, greeks and chinese physicians, who also used sound healing in their practices to promote digestion, sleep, and emotional disturbances.

3. Our Worlds Eclipse

✨ One-shot fic. Kazuya and Jun explore the mystery of the sanctum after having detected frequencies coming from the area. They are soon greeted by an alleged ambush of Kazuya's enemies. Kazuya realizes there are things he considers much more valuable than winning a fight, and that is to ensure that Jun is safe and unharmed. Set in Tekken 8 timeline.

I write during my free time and when I am inspired. I'm still a student attending university while juggling with a sideline. I do this for the fun of writing and because of how much I adore this ship, and I'm always very enthusiastic about sharing my works with the rest of you who adore kazujun as well. At last, the Heartverse Fic is finally complete. It's been a wild ride 🥺💙

I adore just how you can insert such drama, tension and action into such an absurd premise and inherently silly concepts while still staying faithful to the original or at least referencing the changes. And I also love how you can write Dio to be both goofy and endearing to absolutely menacing and unsettling.

Daily Things - Holiday Season Edition 🎄

✨ life has been awful and amazing all at once and it has been so overwhelming having both of those extremes.

✨ for the past few months I have had on and off back pain with spasms, fatigue, itchiness, headaches, etc and it got worse and worse. Then about 3 weeks ago I couldn’t walk bc my back pain got so bad. I ended up at the ER and discovered some time in the past I had a silent stroke which showed as a lesion on my brain mri. And then the back X-ray showed degenerative L5 endplate sclerosis. I have another follow up and further testing right after the holidays to try and pinpoint a cause for the neurological problems occurring and in the meantime I’m on muscle relaxants for my back and pain medication, and then some stronger anti anxiety medication while we asses the situation/what’s going on.

It’s been so hard waiting and the unknown and all the possibilities it could be as well as what we know it is. On top of all that, the stress has caused me to gain a pretty significant amount of weight and that’s made things mentally even harder than they already are.

✨ so I’ve been trying to savor the good days when they come, and be kind to myself on the days they’re not. When my back allows it I’ve been going on short walks to just get some fresh air and movement. The peloton is low impact and most days I’m able to get a ride of some kind in. I got myself a skoggy bear who I LOVE 🐻 and he is a snuggle buddy and I adore him ☺️🫶 I got to take Finn out and spent some much needed doggo time with! Early morning walks to get coffee before work. Late night coffee shop/book store vibes after work while waiting to grab the train home. New hobbies; crochet! And then our annual SF Christmas trip with a group of family friends/second family! I found THE cutest discontinued jellycat stuffed animal (currently collecting them.. bc I’m an adult 😅 lol!)

✨ woke up this morning at 6:30am, went to the hotel gym and just did 30 minutes of upper body weights, then walked in the city for a short trip to grab coffee!

✨ now I’m snuggled in bed watching some law and order: svu for 30 more minutes until we check out at 11am!

✨ when we check out, our group is going to get brunch, go ice skating at Union Square/grab cocoa, and then we’ll head back home.

I love this annual trip, it’s always so fun and nice seeing everyone! But I am so happy to go back home to Thea!

✨ then this week at work will be my last week before a week off for the holidays! So so excited for the time off!! ♥️

for your hs1 faves, i’m so glad we agree on woman! ngl i couldn’t take it seriously at first bc of the duck noise but it ended up being one of the reasons i love the song. and sott is such a great song, it makes me cry every time i listen to it rip but it’s probably one of harry’s best songs ever. and daylight! i love it! and keep driving too! i feel like in this new album you can tell he tried to write more metaphorically in general and i’m always finding new ways to spin lyrics that just throw me off and make me think of the songs in a new perspective, so that’s been keeping the album fresh for me.

yeah i agree! my current job has made me learn how to use photo editing tools in depth and i feel like that definitely helps me when i take on personal projects, bc i have better understanding of the programs. i just have to apply that mindset to other creative outlets but i can’t seem to stick to a hobby ajwjskqk

pretty much the only recipes i have for cookies and the brownies and carrot cake are all passed down from my grandmothers which is why i only know how to make those ahenfnskw but i’m excited even if it’s like half a day baking. and that sounds so nice! baking a bunch of different things that end up being nice gifts to friends / family is always a plus bc then you don’t have to stress on gifts. which do you enjoy baking (and eating) the most?

oh god the duck noise fjshsj i always forget about that fjdhd sott really is one of harry’s best songs ever!!!! truly don’t understand how watermelon sugar has a grammy but sott doesn’t 🫠 like no hate to watermelon sugar bc i do actually like it but c’mon. i feel like he just had a lot more fun with hsh than his other albums too and we all know harry having fun = being an incomprehensible goof djshsjsh

love that for u honestly! anything that makes any aspect of life easier is a win fjshsj also i felt that i jump between hobbies so frequently it’s horrible 😭

baking is always either a quick hour thing or it’s the whole day theres no inbetween djshs i think i like making breads (banana, pumpkin etc) the most bc they’re the easiest but also peanut butter blossoms bc i like rolling the cookies in sugar before they go in the oven and getting to press the hersheys kisses into them 🥹 my favorite to eat depends on my mood but also i don’t really eat a lot of what i bake bc im not really a sweets person. i mostly just bake bc i enjoy doing it and my mom and sister have sweet tooth’s so they’re always happy to eat whatever i make

this is a cop out djshsh but i wanna live everywhere and anywhere at least once. idk how to pick just one place 😩 and honestly just making art of any kind for a living would be nice!! im all for just vibing and creating things ✨ what about you?

that sounds like so much fun!! it’s so cool that you get to do that for your internship and that you enjoy it so much!!

so i was studying accounting but to start i was doing like a bunch of business classes and the law class i took was super introductory and focused primarily on contract law (i think) and so that’s how i was able to take it even though i wasn’t studying law!! i still don’t understand why my professor wanted us to go to a hearing as part of our final but it was interesting regardless 🤷🏼‍♀️

as for the tumblr edits i looked through your tag and i think they’re really nice!!! that sounds super frustrating honestly. it’s horrible to be so enthusiastic about something and have the people essentially running it not put in the effort to keep it enjoyable for everyone 😔

oooh i’ve never heard of that before, what is tiffin? it’s nice that you got to enjoy lunch with a group of good people!! and i love that for you!!! a good sandwich is always a bright spot in any day 🥹

okay some things about me..genuinely would spend every waking minute doing crafts if i could. like i don’t even care what i’m doing i just like creating things 🥺 my favorite drink is genuinely so boring i just really like water dhshshs like 9 times out of 10 if given the choice of drinks im gonna pick water! as for music i try to listen to a lot of different genres but i generally stick to pop (mostly bc 1d and the boys are pop-y) and then whatever like 4/5 songs im obsessed with!

Tiffin! Omg I keep forgetting it's such an Indian thing. So this is the Wikipedia definition - Tiffin is an Indian English word for a type of meal. It refers to a light breakfast or a light tea-time meal at about 3 p.m., consisting of typical tea-time foods. In certain parts of India, it can also refer to the midday luncheon or, in some regions of the Indian subcontinent, a between-meal snack.

For me midday luncheon is the best word for it. You'd eat breakfast at home, then have tiffin during break time at school and come back home and have lunch. But right now I'm working the whole day, so i take my lunch with me to court in a tiffin box(mine is just like an off-brand Tupperware kinda thing) and that's my tiffin.

I had Poha today in the morning and chicken curry and pulao for lunch. Sunday special!! What about you?

it was sad to see it end but also it ended at the correct time. basically after the black lives matter moment, they threw their script away and just did a final season with about 8 episodes to wrap up the show and give it closure? and that's what i loved about b99 so much that they were incredibly self aware and did the right thing considering it was a cop show!

see you get it! it's happened to me so many times and people will look at me and go "how can you not like pizza?" and i'll be like because i had too much of it 😭😭😭 also do you have this weird thing where certain foods are always categorised as "sick foods" like you cannot eat them when you're not sick, but if you are then these will be your comfort foods?

please i completely get that about home alone because it's literally the same plot anyways but it's fun and reminds me of childhood and warmth 😭🤍

yeah it seems like it was probably for the best to finish with that season and good on the writers for knowing how to handle the situation honestly

i mean i’ll probably get tired of a meal and not eat it for a while but after some time i might eat it again ajejrjdken and yes!! a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup or any vegetable soup my mom makes are automatically comfort foods bc i’ve had them often while sick so now they just make me feel warm and cozy 🥹

honestly i love sam fender’s more upbeat tracks, i need to really listen to seventeen going under (the album) bc i did but didn’t really pay attention. and noah kahan was actually my #1 artist this year!! i cannot recommend him enough, his last two albums are gold and he has so many other songs that tug at my heart so hard 🥺💗

please i love all the wolves edits, they make me laugh so much AHEBFJEEN and if i could fly is top tier, i was thinking about it too bc i also change 1d faves very often. and same for fine line, she’s helped me through so much i owe her the whole pandemic probably 💗 and defenceless is iconic, his falsetto at the end is gorgeous and it’s such a beautiful song, i do get emotional listening to it 🥺
