I want to start a thread of doll customization stuff that sounds metal af out of context, like

"If you boil the head, it'll become soft enough to remove the eyes"

"People are ripping off the dead Queen of England's head to steal her body"

"If her sleeves are too tight, pull her hands off first"

Please add more, I want to collect as many as possible

So I FINALLY finished my first custom doll. This doll gave me a LOT of trouble and I almost gave up. But I persisted and now she exists!!!!

There’s a lot I’d change or do differently in the future, but for now, I’m just happy to have completed a project 🥰

Some mods I made: her jacket was originally a shirt but I added a little pin and sewed sequins on the back. I also made her the little bead bracelet as well as the belt and necklace. I also added purple glitter to her shoes and two gems to her headphones.

Also in this closeup you can see how crazy messy her face is. Originally it was much cleaner but I had so many issues with her eyes that it got super messed up so I repainted part of it and added more glitter. In a way I think it was a good thing, because I was inspired by some dolls that had super grungy glitter makeup and I think I wasn’t brave enough to make her that messy. By accidentally roughing up her original faceup I was forced to add the grunge element I wanted. So it all worked out in the end! And I’m glad I learned how to add the eyes neatly in the end because now I know how to keep that from happening to the other shadow high custom I’m working on!!

I’ve decided to name her Dottie ^u^

Added some more stuff to my Ko-Fi over the past few days, there a couple new heads for RH/SH (the first two photos), a spider BJD, as well as a new outfit for Drac.

I have more stuff to add when I have the time, including making the spider head compatible with RH/SH.

i had a dream of making a cyber goth custom of Harley Limestone that i just couldnt shake....

so i had to make her, and she turned out exactly how i envisioned her!

I don’t buy dolls for my inner child tbh I buy them for my grown ass adult self who happens to like dolls. And what are u gonna do about it

Its funny how when MH first came out everyone and their mom were coming up with their own multicolored doll line with reasons like "Oh they're vampires!" "They're zombies! "They're aliens!" "They're from the alternate universe where horses are humans!"

And then here comes MGA with their own line of distinctively colored dolls and they have given us no reason in universe why they look like this
