'23 grid ── ˙ ̟ the echo !!
𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 :: an overview of fem!driver relationship with a few drivers on the grid. just a bunch of cute headcanons that i can't get out of my head. i only added the ones i feel she would be closest with, but feel free to ask me about any other driver!

˒ ⌕ — MICK SCHUMACHER ( 47 )
more than mere teammates, mick and her have been glued to the hip ever since they met. with both of their parents being ex-formula one drivers for the same team, it was clear from the very start that they would see each other very often. as kids, wondering around the paddock, as teens, supporting each other on the track and now, as young adults, competing against each other on porsche and f1.
while mick is a sweet, introverted guy who tends to think about every word that leaves his miuth, she is the complete opposite — loud, bashful and someone who should have a bigger filter between your brain and mouth. is the epitome of orange cat × golden retriever, and fans eat it up.
while mick sometimes can calm her, it's more likely that she brings him into her shenanigans.
˒ ⌕ — MAX VERSTAPPEN ( 33 )
her and max couldn't have a more different upbringing. while he was roughly shaped into a champion by his father, she had been carefully brought into the motorsport world by yours.
they've met during her years as a red bull junior, and what started with max being a bit annoyed by her non-stop talking quickly turned into an honest friendship, where they both can say whatever they want.
it leads to max saying the most unhinged things and her being the only one who jokes along instead of feeling concerned.
˒ ⌕ — LEWIS HAMILTON ( 44 )
probably one of the cutest driver pairings in the grid. fans love to dig out old picture from the two and compare to it now.
lewis has always had a soft spot for her, ever since she was a kid roaming around in the paddock. he would show her his car, explaining all the things to her and claiming that his team was better than whatever team her dad was on.
once she came back to the paddock, now as a driver, he took one look at her and immediately took her under his wing. they both are, in their own ways, alone within the rest of the grid and he wouldn't let the media, or anyone for what matters, dim her light.
on the daily, he is always checking up on her, not in a overbearing fatherly way, but more as an older brother figure.
during her first months he managed to convince the media outlets to pair them both together for every interview, and he was always quick to shut down any stupid question sent her way.
if she annoys him for long enough, she manages to make him agree to coordinate his outfits with her.
˒ ⌕ — FERNANDO ALONSO ( 14 )
similar to lewis, she met alonso when she was very young. although he had a bad reputation during that time, she always loved to hang out with him, because she loved how cool he looked every time he won a race.
it took him some time to warm up to her, as he was never that great with kids when he was younger, but when she gifted him a drawing she had made of him winning a race, he was done for. yes, he was still seen as some sort of villain, but everyone agreed that he looked more human when she was on him arms.
he would grab her from her father's garage (with his permission, of course) and would take her to his, always waiting with her favorite flavor of pizza. it became a tradition for the both of them to eat it before a race, being his or hers.
whenever he could, he would watch her races from her garage, proudly wearing team merchandise with her name on it. when she won her f2 championship, he made sure to stand closely to the podium, and he would deny it, but he cried a bit when she raised her trophy.
such a cute duo because he tries to keep up with the things she likes, but still doesn't fully understand everything, so one day he would randomly say that her outfits is slaying and would leave with a polite smile while she stands there, confused, wondering where the hell did he learn that.
still tries to continue their pizza traditions <3
˒ ⌕ — LANDO NORRIS ( 04 )
they both barely knew each other before her debut in f1, but somehow clicked instantly. it might be because of their self depreciated tendencies, or their constant sarcasm. who knows? the only thing that matters is that when a reporter asks a stupid question, they can communicate with a single glance.
lando tries to get her intro photography but gives up once she couldn't fully understand how to correctly operate a camera. claims that she is a pretty good model to make up for it <3
somehow they know everything about everyone. it's a mix of lando knowing the drivers very well, and her knowing a lot of the mechanics of different teams. whenever something happens in the paddock, they both definitely know.
˒ ⌕ — GEORGE RUSSELL ( 63 )
met simply because she thought his pose was so funny that she had to ask him if he thought about it previously or decided to just wing it during filming. he was slightly confused that she seemed so friendly after they had just net, but quickly understood that was simply how she acted.
the most meme worthy duo. with his perfect timed actions and her dynamic facial expressions, their faces are always seen together plastered on twitter.
the butt of most of her jokes. she constantly sends him tiktoks and he claims that he is tired of it, but always sees each one and gives a little commentary.
if lewis is her caring older brother, george is her annoying one.
˒ ⌕ — OSCAR PIASTRI ( 81 )
the two of them have a long running joke because they don't know when they met. they've never competed against each other, as he was always one year above in the series, and never raced for the same team, but somehow, they feel like you've always been friends.
(they once actually sat down to try and trace back to their first meeting, but only got as far as to a gala in 2020, but they both remember already being friends during that.)
people thought they would never see them interact because of their distinct personalities and were very surprised when she pulled him into a hug after their race in bahrain.
always bantering and joking, oscar likes that she understand his sense of humor and don't take it too seriously.
˒ ⌕ — ALEX ALBON ( 23 )
met solely because she felt the need to tell him how pretty his girlfriend was. he was very confused but appreciated the compliment (even though it wasn't dedicated to him).
after that he kept getting drawn by her straight to the point comments, always failing to conceal his laughter after she says something, either during debriefing or interviews.
she pretty much became his and lily's daughter. they take her out to eat after races, lily tries to teach her how to golf and alex convinces her to die her hair if she scores at least 10 ponths.

Heartsteel with an insecure plus-size partner (18+)
Inspiration: This is extremely self-indulgent, but I haven’t been feeling great about myself lately and I need a little reminder that I am, in fact, a sexy and beautiful bad bitch. Anyone else who needs a reminder, this one is for you too. We’re beautiful no matter what.

Context: In this instance, reader feels bad about themselves for being curvy and this is how the boys would respond. Just remember, we’re all beautiful. Let’s take care of ourselves like the boys would want us to.

None of these men will stand for someone making their partner feel bad about themselves.

If you do decide to lose weight at some point, they’re making sure it’s for the right reasons (ex: quality of life health adjustment and not just because you want to be skinnier to look more attractive.) and they’re also making sure you’re doing it the right way. The safe way. Because damnit they love you and always want you to be happy and safe.
As long as it’s for the right reasons and you’re doing it safely, they’ll be your biggest supporters. Like the biggest hype men. As well as the best comfort if things are a bit rough. They’ve got your back.
Aphelios
Said it before and will say it again: “The quiet ones are always the most perceptive.”
He absolutely notices when you frown at yourself a little in the mirror, when you take a bit longer to find something to wear, when you murmur something self deprecating about your appearance, or when you intentionally skip a meal (his absolute least favorite).
He knows when you don’t feel good about yourself and it makes him sad because he always sees you as beautiful and attractive.
And it’s hard on him because he really can’t be super vocal about how he sees you, at least in public because people are loud.
But when you two are cuddling or just having quiet time by yourselves when you’re getting ready together, and you can hear him when he does talk, then in those times when you feel bad about yourself, he’s just the sweetest bean omg.
Whispering/murmuring the sweetest and loveliest things to you about how amazing you look.
Like he’d really compliment you to high heaven. Especially if there’s an area that you’re super self conscious about. Ex: “I love those shorts on you, cutie. They show off your amazing legs.”
As for the meals, he’s gently making sure you’re eating. He wants you happy and sated.
I’ve said before that he’s the master of sexting and I fully believe he’d send you texts (both spicy and not) randomly, just letting you know how attractive he thinks you are and that you’re on his mind.
When he does send spicy texts complimenting his favorite parts of you? I hope you’re not around anyone because you will be turning bright red. This quiet moon man is shockingly explicit.
Ezreal
Do I think he’s as perceptive as Phel or some of the others? Maybe not, but I do believe Ez would notice if you’re quieter/down as well as notice your upset glances in the mirror.
It is fucking inconceivable to him when you tell him you don’t find yourself attractive at times.
Like WHAT??? How can that be??? You’re literally perfection to him. And he has excellent taste so…
Compliments compliments COMPLIMENTS. Holy shit he’d shower you with so many lovely compliments anytime you don’t feel good about yourself.
We also know even Heartsteel Ez is a huge history nerd (fuck YEAH I have a history minor so I love this).
When you tell him you don’t feel beautiful, he’d go through so many different civilizations of history and talk about how you fit their ideal standards of beauty. And so to him, you’re always timelessly attractive.
Would pull up artwork (for example, Titian’s “Venus of Urbino”) and texts to make his point. (This is so hot lmao. I blame being an honors kid and going to grad school. We stan an academic king omfg. I feel like he secretly has a masters degree [hehe welcome to the club, Ez].)
And while I primarily think his affection would be shown through compliments (I just see him as so chatty) I definitely think he’d also use at least some touch to make his point.
Like he’d rest his head on your thighs or tummy because you’re just perfect to cuddle with after a long day. Or he’d let his hands, eyes, lips linger on his favorite parts of you (your thighs, your tummy, your ass/hips) just to make his point clear: while you may not love these parts of you all the time, he ABSOLUTELY does.
Kayn
Very similar to Ez where he just cannot wrap his mind around the fact that you don’t see yourself as incredible and sexy at all times like he sees you. And when you tell him a lot of your insecurity stems from being plus-size, that befuddles him even more.
Member #1 of the “That just means more for me to love, baby” club.
When he hears you say these things about yourself, he almost takes it as a little bit of a challenge for himself to better show you that you are in fact, sexy and attractive as FUCK. And it’s a challenge he fully plans on succeeding at.
One of the ones I can picture using primarily physical touch in order to emphasize how sexy he sees you.
I’ve said it before but I fully believe physical touch is one of his love languages (at LEAST giving if not both giving and receiving.)
If you’re talking poorly about yourself, he will kiss you to make you shush. And it’s not a simple peck either. No no no. It’s a full “make-you-breathless” kiss.
And once he’s finally stunned you silent and turned your cheeks pink, he will lean over and murmur why he loves every single part of you that you were talking bad about.
And it’s not just PG reasons either. He’s getting DETAILED. I’ve said before he’s the dirty talk king. He’ll say things like how he loves your hips because they’re just perfect for him to grab onto when he’s fu- (I need to stop before I go off the rails lmao).
And believe me, he’s more than happy to show you what he means. Will gladly drag you home or to somewhere private.
He’d really keep an eye out for when you’re feeling down about yourself and he’d work to shut it down immediately. You’re perfect to him and he will let you KNOW.
K’Sante
K’Sante would be fucking ELITE for this omg.
One of the hardest parts about having a plus-size body is dressing it in a way that is stylish and still unique.
Goodness fucking knows so many plus-sized clothes have no semblance of shape to them whatsoever. Very potato sack.
But you’re with the main fashion icon himself. You have yourself a killer personal stylist (with amazing kisses and lovins to go along with it).
He’s never going to let you look bad. No matter the vibe, no matter the occasion, he’s gonna help you pull an A+ fit together.
And he’s going to explain why each piece works well for your body, so when you go shopping by yourself, you know what to look for.
Always throwing out compliments about how you make an outfit look so good (very intentionally worded this way and not the other way around).
He wants you to understand it’s the person who makes the clothes, not the clothes that make the person. You’re the reason that outfit looks absolutely stunning.
If you ever did want to start working out, I think K’Sante would be an excellent guide. Gyms are fucking intimidating, and I think he realizes that. So he’d give you the full walkthrough and help you figure out what to do on machines and stuff so you don’t accidentally hurt yourself.
And even though we know Sett is the best cook, I’m still convinced K’Sante is also a great cook so he’d make you the best meals omg. Well balanced, delicious as fuck, and filled with a whole lot of love.
Sett
I think it genuinely would make him sad when he realizes your insecurities. Even if you don’t tell him outright, I think he’s very observant and is another member who would see the small things you do that indicate your insecurities with your body.
Member #2 of the “that just means more for me to love” club.
Never too heavy for him so don’t even ask. You’ve seen this man’s muscles. To him, you’re always as light as a feather.
And his compliments? Shit he’d have some of the SWEETEST compliments. And when he sees you feeling down, he wouldn’t skimp on them. He doesn’t skimp on them normally, but now he’s even more complimentary and flirty with you. Like lowkey you have a blush 24/7.
Ok, so I’ve previously ranked Sett as one of the most romantic members of Heartsteel. And I still hold firm that one of his love languages is acts of service (giving). Part of that is cooking. We know he’s the best cook of the group.
And similar to Kayn I also think he’d use physical touch (almost as an act of service) to show his partner he finds them beautiful/attractive/sexy.
That combo? Fuck that’s an elite combo right there. Everything he does, he does with the intent to make you feel loved, happy and as sexy, stunning, and perfect as he sees you.
Gently wandering hands while cuddling, hand on thigh while he drives, hand in the back pocket of your jeans when in line together, hugs from behind, whispered compliments, and neck kisses when you’re getting ready and dressed.
And of course there are the even more personal moments of physical affection. Like marking any area he senses you might be uncomfortable with or hears you talking bad about. We’re talking those parts LITTERED with hickeys here. Because damnit he loves your tummy and your thighs and marking them is his private way of letting you know that. And tbh it feels pretty nice…
An interesting little thing: I absolutely think Sett would encourage you to maybe step out of your comfort zone just a little bit and do something to help you see yourself as sexy. For example, I think he’d be happy to pay/provide what you need for a boudoir photo shoot with an amazing photographer who knows what they’re doing and rizzes you up. (Those seem so fun omg I lowkey want to do one so bad.) And if you gift him with a print of your favorite photo (or even better, a photo book with all your favorite photos) for like his birthday or something? A. He’s glad you see yourself as sexy just as he does. B. Enjoy not leaving bed for like the entire weekend. 😉
Yone
Again, Yone is a member that is just mind-bogglingly perceptive. Over the tiniest things. (The quiet ones y’all, for real.)
Another one who absolutely sees when you don’t look at yourself kindly in the mirror, when you touch your tummy or hips with a frown, when you try and suck in for photos, or when you’re letting yourself be hungry.
He fucking hates it because in his eyes, you’re the most attractive person there is. No one is more attractive than you are.
Murmurs to you the sweetest compliments in passing whenever he can. I believe this man’s experience with lyric writing makes him a god damn poet when it comes to getting his feelings across. It’s one of the reasons I ranked him the most romantic member.
If he notices you looking at yourself unkindly in the mirror, he will come over and wrap his arms around you from behind, smiling gently as he compliments you, especially complimenting the areas he noticed you looking negatively at. He won’t stop either until he feels you relax back against him and he sees a small smile at least.
We’ve previously discussed my belief that Yone is secretly a cuddle fiend. Like in public he is so stoic and serious (fair though, he’s dealing with his band mates **cough cough** Kayn and Ez **cough cough**).
But in private, he’s a damn koala. And he’ll always pull you onto his lap and let you know that you’re perfect to cuddle with, exactly how you are. Prepare to be trapped in some amazing cuddles for the next long while.
Honestly, yes all of the members would be scary if someone insulted your looks, but I think Yone would be the most terrifying to have to deal with. I would never want to be on his shit list.
Likes to eat with you whenever he can. A. You’re a lot calmer than his band mates like 95% of the time and this man needs some god damn peace. And B. It’s a way for both of you to take care of each other. You can make sure he eats (since god knows he spends hella hours in the studio and often forgets) and he can make sure you get some good food in you too. I bet he’d bring home stuff that Sett or K’Sante made, especially if he knows it’s one of your favorites. (He’d absolutely have them draw a fun little doodle on a note to make you smile.)
Just an angel of a partner who refuses to let you feel so dark about yourself when you make his world so bright.

sorry this is a little short!
he doesn’t try and come off as jealous because in no world is it your fault
you didn’t do anything to make him question you, but everyone’s a little insecure about something
he thinks you’re so, so beautiful and that you could have anyone you wanted, and it doesn’t help that other guys make it clear that they want a chance with you
so he always has an arm around you

a lot of the guys think you two are grossly adorable
during the summer if he’s feeling a little down on himself he gets a little more jealous than he’d like to admit

𝒢𐑞 ﹒ dating mach is almost like having a shield around you, knowing that nobody could harm you, not even MR, knowing that if they even got one hit on you it would be over for them and their whole bloodline once mach finds out. love is something mach hasn’t experienced in years. every emotion in her just was out of the picture, so once she did actually realize that she loved you she took it very seriously. getting you flowers, and even a gift. and with the confession, she won’t straight up tell you, she’ll put it into poetry even and then end it with “I love you” before kissing you.
𝒢𐑞 ﹒ mach dates are very thoughtful, she’ll take you anywhere you want, even if its not on earth. hell she’ll even take you see space if you really wanted to. but mostly her dates are star gazing, she has quite a few spots she wants to show you. or even she’ll even take you with her to watch the other players fail in “wall of” while holding you close to her. and also she TRUSTS you a lot, even enough to let you hold her ban hammer whenever she has her hands full with something else.
𝒢𐑞 ﹒ mach knows that her employers probably doesn’t know she’s in a relationship currently, however she does keep it on the downlow around them, she does like her employers but she’s not quite sure on how they’ll react. however she’ll tell one of her close friends, which is Pilby, they support your relationship fully and doesn’t tell anyone else as per mach’s request. also not to mention mach invites you to have tea in her office after the players leave after getting all of the items they needed. once you guys do have tea together, she’ll even tell you more of her life story including her siblings, and her uncle. however she’ll also love to hear about your own life story.

You Get Buggy a Corgi

• Buggy has always wanted a Corgi- He's never talked about it but you did see he has a Corgi shaped pillow in his room that he's apparently had since he was a child-
• So you decide to get him one as a gift for his birthday.
• He always had big birthday bashes and it was the biggest party imaginable- The whole crew with more alcohol and food then a gods banquet while Buggy sat in the center jovial and proud.
• You walk over with a box in hand and carefully set it down infront of him, He raises a brow at the lack of flashy decoration on the brown box and pops open the lid with a unamused expression
• There a little head pops up and everyone stares at the happy Corgi face looking st Buggy and the blue bow around its neck
• His whole face flushes as you can quite literally see the childlike joy shine in his eyes- A bright smile on his face as he sets the puppy in his lap.
• "Her name is Guppy" You say as he mumbles the name and glances up at you. "She's mine?"
• "Yep! She's fully trained and apparently does really well on ships from what the shelter said" You say softly, but you're sure he isn't even paying attention to you as the dog seems to instantly love Buggy and scales him with her little body to press her face against his. You can quite literally see his heart melt.
• Clearly Guppy is his favorite gift ever since he doesn't pay attention to anything else accept for Guppy the rest of the night.
• You also get a special reward for bringing a wonderful gift.
• Guppy is absolutely a velcro dog- Loving to be at Buggys side 24/7 and follow him around. He gets her a red bandana so she's easy to spot at all times. If there is anything dangerous he will leave her behind but be sad about it-
• Later finds out she yaps like crazy when he's not there and cries loudly.
• She sleeps on him constantly, sometimes waking him up since she will curl directly over his face suffocating him.
• 'Mrph!- 'Upeee!!" {Guppy!} And ge carefully scoots her on the pillow next to his head so he can breath and go back to sleep-
• Guppy acts as a sort of Therapy dog for Buggy as well- When his temper or anxiety get him worked up to were he would usually destroy his room she will instead lay on his chest and force him to stay still as he Pets her and works himself down from a rage.
• She is also the perfect pillow for him to cry on. So he has pressed his face gently into her fur and just cried- Often she licks the tears away.
• Doesnt wear as heavy of makeup since he knows she likes to lick his face and doesn't want the grease paint to make her sick-
• Will also carry her- Say if the waters are too choppy but she doesn't want to be left he will just carry her like a baby to make sure she doesn't slide around or get hurt.
• If anyone- and I mean ANYONE Dares to mess with his dog he will absolutely go ape-shit... Think insulting his nose is instant death- Hurt his dog and he will come up with the worse ways to kill a person slowly-
• He probably loves Guppy more then any living person and makes sure she has a wonderful healthy life.
Bonus!-
• "Hey Buggy can I ask?- Why do you like Corgi's so much?" You ask laying next to him on the floor of his cabin. He pauses for a moment as he thinks.
• "Lots of reasons- They are soft, sweet, overall really loving and they are a little odd which I like.. But-" He pauses for a second.
• "...It's kinda weird but.. my first memory in life was of a Corgi and my mother-" He admitted and you looked surprised by this, asking for him to explain which he rolled his eyes but agreed.
• "It was the day she dropped me off at the orphanage.. She handed me that corgi pillow you see on my bed and some berry she shoved in my pockets. Telling me that she had to leave me here to make sure I was safe from bad guys-" He said calmly, but you could hear the hurt in his tone.
• "But if I was every in a situation were it was truly life or death all I had to say with three words and I'd be okay. Then she kisses my forehead and left. It's my first and last memories of her- A few years later Roger's picking me up to be his apprentice" He admitted as Guppy lived his face clearly sensing some sadness.

Ok so I didn’t expect to receive that much attention from the first post- I DON’T DESERVE ALL THIS PRAISE 😭
Well, I might as well give the people what they want! Here’s some headcanons/made up storyline and an attempt at designing outfits for them 🤘 (+ drawing of them together)
Disclaimer: I cannot draw men, especially attractive ones, so sorry if they look girly
Spaceman/Space Ace
• Spaceman zooms around space for fun in his little comet (as shown in the drawing)
• His eyes light up when he’s happy (or spaced out… so basically 90% of the time lol)
• Hangs out around many different planets and has probably met every single kind of extraterrestrial life (Except for “star-people”)
• Likes to visit earth and enjoy the nature and human technology while hanging out with his friends (Cat and Fox)
• Enjoys giving people nicknames
• Was shocked when he first met Starchild since he never saw any living being as breathtakingly beautiful as him (That’s a lot considering he doesn’t even breathe)
• Silly mf
• Loves playing with card decks but doesn’t actually know any games
Starchild
• Leaves a trail of rose petals when he passes by (again, as shown in the drawing)
• Pretty stoic and blank faced for most of the time
• Used to be a sun before becoming a humanoid star (and basically froze the one planet that used to orbit him)
• Has future vision in his dreams
• Lives mostly by himself on the frozen planet whit his only “Company” being someone who talks to him in his dreams (Aka the Elder)
• In denial about his feelings for the Spaceman
• Oh yeah his eye lights up too
Yeah I basically fully blame AO3 for this. I was bored during the new years and decided to read a kiss fanfic for the first time, I was surprised to see that Ace/Paul was the most popular relationship, I got curious and now here we are
I would write my own fanfic if I knew how to write, but that is a skill that I unfortunately do not possess. Maybe I’ll share my ideas if anyone is interested but idk if this will get any attention

Dating Master Chief (John 117) Headcanons
no warnings; just fluff
---
Dating John would feel like the calm after the storm, or like a consistent gentle rainfall that can’t help but ease you, quelling your worries
Dating John is calming like rainfall in the sense that you feel a sense of respite wash over you when you’re with him; being with him is also akin to that of the calming pitter-patter noise you hear when the rain comes; it’s never to harsh, or too loud; always a consistent rhythm
You feel a blanket of security wrapping itself around you tightly, never threatening to let you go when dating him; it’s solid and firm, just like John
You both were a bit shy when you first got together; no surprises there though, John leans more on the quiet side, and you, well, anyone would be a little timid when first dating a Spartan (they were genetically modified humans after all)
But John quickly made sure that you felt completely and utterly safe around him; he knew what he was capable of, and the last thing he wanted to do was ever scare you; and you appreciated that about him
It’s not like you are some scared little girl, afraid of Spartans, but, you know, they were the infamous Spartans you heard about growing up, you weren’t quite sure what to expect when you first met them (surprise, surprise Blue team all turned out to be lovely people)
You appreciated John’s understanding for the time it took for you fully get to know him, and be comfortable around him
In your early stages of dating, you guys mainly kept to public outings, like restaurants, movie theaters (yes Reach has a cinema), parks (you both enjoyed going on long walks together and you tease John about how his ‘normal’ walk is your jog)
You could say that he properly ‘wine and dined’ you, well as much as one can on Reach seeing that its operation is more so military and not just another regular planet
He was a gentleman: he opened doors for you, whether that be building, apartment, or car doors; it didn’t matter, he was there to open them for you; he also would sometimes place his hand at the small of your back, which sent sparks twinkling up your spine the first few times he did that (let’s be honest, you still feel giddy even now)
He was a great listener, always ready with a question (or 10) whenever you were telling him about your day, things that happened at work, the latest book you read. He always had a follow-up, always curious to know more about you, and what you’re thinking
You also were the same in that matter, always asking him questions; who could blame you though, his job was a lot cooler than yours
You were in awe of all the different planets and solar systems he’s been to (including the Halos) and you always picked his brain about the Covenant (you’ve been fortunate enough to not cross paths with the Covenant)
When John wasn’t on a mission, you weren’t at work, or you guys weren’t going on a “formal” date, you and John could be found lounging around one of your apartments, either reading, watching TV, doing puzzles, things like that
Sometimes you guys liked to do your own thing but in the company of the other
However, one of your favorite things to do is to nap with John
He’s so large that he generates a lot of body heat, so whenever winter rolls around and there’s snowflakes in the air, you loved to cuddle up with him on the couch, completely wrapped in his embrace and fall asleep with no worries on your mind (being with John made that easy)
John is the kind of partner who is a great shoulder to cry on; his support is endless for you, and he’s always there whenever you run into a problem; he’s there to listen about what’s troubling your life, but he’s not one to be pushy about how to fix it; no, he’s there for you, and makes sure to comfort you the best he can (which usually is you asking him for a hug, which he immediately complies with)
John gives the best hugs because 1) he is taller than you, so he can easily wrap you up tight and rest his head on yours, and 2) his arms are long and muscular, which makes his hugs 10x warmer and just better overall
Something that you quickly learned about John after a couple months of dating was that he was actually funny (right, like what are the odds a Spartan of his caliber has a funny bone?)
His humor was of course dry and sarcastic, but he got a laugh out of you every time he cracked a joke
Blue team also tells you stories about John (not to his knowledge) since they have known him since they were all pre-teens; sometimes you’ll bring something up to John, and he’ll be like “Where’d you hear that from?” (he wasn’t stupid he knew); and then a couple days later you’ll hear how hard John made training for them (oops)
Nevertheless, dating John has brought a sense of security into your life that you never thought you would feel, or have; you only hope is that you provide the same for him

Absolutely love your writing for all the AU/5 headcanons asks. Can I ask: AU where Rei cheats on Endeavor with All Might? It happens after AM's injury, so she doesn't recognize him, and he ofc doesn't know that she's married in the first place, much less to whom
you make this very difficult for me by giving me a window of 6 and half years for them to have an affair and for every single moment of that window, Rei is institutionalized. how am i supposed to get them to meet, much less take their clothes off. ok. think. there are other fic writers who specialize in this kind of thing, surely. what would they do....
1- ok so. The fire alarm at the hospital goes off. Rei doesn't know if it's a drill or not, but she's been there for seven years and generally does not need a lot of support during something like this like other patients do, so the nurses wave her out and she stands around outside a bit waiting for the fire alarm to stop and them to go back in. (It isn't a drill, they wouldn't have evacuated everyone if it was, but Rei is on the other side of the building and facing away from seeing any smoke) (This smoke is from a villain attack that All Might is taking care of, though he's only got seconds left of his power to use that day. he quickly rushes off, deflating and stumbling out on the other side of the hospital. Where Rei is.)
2- Rei is like "huh that guy doesnt seem to be in good shape" and kinda waves attention at him, and a nurse who's passing out water to patients and keeping an eye on the road gives Toshinori some too, getting more concerned when he dazedly answers that he's All Might and coughs up blood, but the nurse figures he's concussed since he smells of smoke and must have been closer to the fight, and is just reeling from being able to see the number one hero in person. Then they get distracted and wave Toshi to wait nearby, where Rei offers to chill his water and asks if he's alright, if he breathed in any smoke.
3- They chat and then go back into the hospital as it's un-evacuated together, Rei hanging out in the lobby where he sits as the hospital staff focus on getting everyone else back to their rooms. It pays to be low priority sometimes. Eventually she tells him her name is Rei and that she's in room K18, if he ever wants to visit or call. She doesn't get to talk to anyone except doctors, family visitors, or other paitients, and most of them don't stay nearly as long as she does. It's been seven years, and she's very lonely. Toshinori is lonely too, and when he's out of time for a day and feeling useless with nothing to do, he likes to talk to a friend.
4- Rei has been in the hospital for eight years when it gets physical. At that point, Toshinori knows a bit about her family. She has kids, mentions visits from a son and daughter, and then quietly mentioned when her son turned seventeen- her daughter's already twenty. She's been there for so much of their lives. He asks if she's married, and she admits she isn't sure how to file for divorce in a hospital like she is, if she even can, if she wants to because she'd lose custody, if it matters when she's not raising them anyway. He doesn't ask much more, knows there is a dead child and a baby she says isn't safe with her there. Toshinori never called Nana 'mom' to her face while she was alive, and had a reason for it, and has a similar reason for not asking more, not asking for the other names when he gets Fuyumi and Natsuo's. Yes, the doctors and nurses all know Rei has a boyfriend who visits. they don't say anything. who would they even tell, anyway. I debated the humor of reusing the bit from candlelight shoto that Toshi and Rei could have a kid with a fire quirk, but yeah here? Rei ain't getting pregnant, absolutely not.
5- When Natsuo turns eighteen, Rei does actually file for divorce, or at least tries to get the ball rolling on that. Toshinori's trusted her that her marriage is over in all but name, but he's more at ease with it ended fully. Fuyumi is crushed but burying it all deep inside. Natsuo is like 'what are you talking about. divorce is the most normal possible outcome here.' But anyway, Rei also begins to bring up being discharged- something she never bothered with earlier, when it seemed like she'd never be able to go home while Shoto was there, and never would want to go back anyway. (Her parents are absolutely not an option either so where would she go once discharged? the hospital was her only security.) Toshinori then tells her at this point about his diagnosis, that he's supposed to be terminal, in a way. He doesn't have a lot of time he can give her. Rei says that's ok, she'll take what she can get. She moves in. Fuyumi still goes out to eat with her once a week, though Rei doesn't say she's moved in with a boyfriend, just says she's in a safe place and it's not Fuyumi's job to worry about it, please, let her do that, relax, be her daughter instead of a mother. Natsuo adds her to his cellphone plan and gets her one. Rei doesn't tell Toshinori her ex's identity. Toshinori doesn't tell her about OfA, though she does know he's mentoring a student for heroics and is very proud of him. (Toshinori is a secretary at Might Tower, he's a great mentor. Oh huh, he got a job position at UA at the same time as All Might, she wonders if they carpool.)
+1- OK THE REVEAL so the reveal is. Toshinori gets home from the SF. And Rei almost knocks him out by the door, eyes wide and panicked, asking if he's ok, if Shoto's ok. Toshinori is like "... young todoroki? yeah he's alright? i know his fight with young bakugo looked bad but- Rei???" And that's when it all clicks for him, he's having dozens of horrible realizations at once, all while Rei weeps over her youngest. Toshinori's been a hero for a very, very long time. He's felt hopeless, before. But even then, he's known what needs to be done, he just isn't able to do it. But now? he's at a complete loss with no idea what he should do.

- headcanons for how he is in a relationship (aemond targaryen x gn!reader, fluffy :D)
a/n - anyone who knows my blog from the quarry knows that i have so many headcanons 😭 i love making them up, it’s so fun. anyways, tysm for requesting! i’ll get to everyone else’s soon :)
- he likes being touched and held softly in private. he really lets his guard down around you when he gets comfortable, and it’s always cute to see him slump into your lap when you get a moment alone.
- when you ask to brush or braid his hair, he always lets you. it’s a very intimate thing for him, so he always feels closer to you when your fingers are weaving through his locks. he gets teased a bit by his brother, sure, but seeing the sparkle in your eye as you show him his hair in the mirror is a gift in itself.
- he takes you on rides with Vhagar quite often. The old dragon has taken to liking you, and he feels an odd sense of pride when you wrap your arms around his midsection during flight.
- he’s very good at keeping his promises, whatever they may be.
- love is not a thing he ever expected himself to have, but with you, it feels natural. deep down, he cares a lot about you and tries to keep you happy as best as he can.

It took him a good couple of days to grasp the concept.
Sex always feels so good to him, how could it do the opposite for you?
He gets mad at whatever reason you got diagnosed for this, whether it was hormones or past trauma.
He then takes the time to lay you down on the bed and softly kiss every part of your body.
Kisses always help and he's praying that they'll help ease some of your pain.
He takes things slowly with you, he's never been more committed to anyone in his whole life, you mean so much to him he refuses to do anything until you're positive it's what you want.
Their's a couple of long talks before having sex, discussing boundaries, what could occur, how he could support you during intercourse and afterwards.
He hates when you want space after sex, he's in an especially bad mood when you are (he will of course leave you alone if that's what you want though).
He will do everything in his power to help you feel as good as he does after sex.
He's in it for the long run honey, nothing could ever make him stop loving you.

SWISS
This was big for him to try and digest.
He's so proud after each time you have any sort of sexual contact with him.
A lot of the time if you're feeling a bit sad/ashamed/anxious after sex and want him to be around, he has a shower with you and carefully washes your body, giving your muscles a massage and murmurs praise before hopping out of the shower, drying you off and dressing you in his comfy clothes.
Then if you’re still not feeling better, he puts on some relaxing music and picks you up, walking around the room as he waits for you to fall asleep.
And if you just want space to cool off? He'll set up a nice bath full of relaxation salts, then while you marinate in there, he queues up your favourite movie and sets up some fun little distracting activities for you (e.g colouring, gaming, whatever you enjoy).
Just let him flop on top of you a couple of hours later please, he must know if you're feeling happier.

PHANTOM
It took a good couple of hours of talking for him to fully comprehend what post coital dysphoria means and how it affects you.
He isn't mad when you get irritable or upset after sex, he just feeds some of his Quintessence through to you and helps you work through it.
Since bug is still quite new to 'top-side things', including caring sex, he'll need some reassurance every now and then that he didn't do anything wrong once you're feeling better.
He feels surprisingly protective of you when you're feeling especially bad after intercourse and, if you'll let him, he'd like to perch on some furniture nearby and watch you.
He just needs to make sure you're alright.
Everything in his being is just itching to hold you, he can sense you're upset and all his instincts are screaming at him to cuddle you in a nest until you're happy again.
But he knows sometimes you just don't want that.
Sometimes he'll leave the room without a word and come back a couple of minutes later with two or three of Copias rats in his hands.
He then places them gently on your lap, watching you for any signs of a smile as he moves back to his perch.

AETHER
You had discussed this with him prior to sex and he was very understanding.
He doesn't push you to do anything after being intimate, just do what feels right and comfortable.
But if you let him, he would like to feed some of his Quintessence through to you to help take the edge off of what ever emotion you're experiencing.
He also helps you set up some appointments with the abbeys therapist if you're interested.
But it's okay if you're not interested! Whether it's because you're not ready to delve into it yet or because you'd just prefer to talk about it with Aether.
He's used to dealing with Sodo being in bad moods every once in a while so you're a piece of cake and he knows how to not aggravate you further.
It's okay if you want him to leave you alone for a while, but it will take everything in him to not just sit outside your door and blow up your phone with text messages saying how much he loves you.

RAIN
Seeing you anxious after being intimate with him, makes him feel anxious.
He tries to bring you into his arms when he notices you getting a little teary but you push him away with a slight scowl.
Then he remembers the conversation you had with him a couple of weeks ago.
It makes him want to cry when he realises how much this effects you.
Then he pulls himself together. You need something right now, and he's going to deliver.
He puts on some clothes before handing you your own, making sure to not touch you as it seems like that's not what you want right now, then gently asks "what can I do to help you?"
He's so patient while you take your time to think of what you want and if you're not sure? That's okay! He'll try some things out until one feels right.
He gets you your favourite snack, then he turns on your favourite comfort show/movie and sits down on a nearby chair watching you like a hawk for any further signs of discomfort.
He doesn't want to leave you alone like this but doesn't want to accidentally make you even more anxious by being too close.

MOUNTAIN
He's pretty intuitive and tends to know what you need after each sexual experience.
Whether it's him taking you on a walk outside for a while, going through some deep breathing exercises.
Or picking up rotten apples and throwing them as hard as you can into a bin/against a wall.
Or just standing by the abbeys lake in his arms when no one's around, your legs around his waist and arms around his neck while he holds your thighs/back and gently rocks you both side to side.
Or if you just want space, he'll make sure to be around in his usual spots until you come find him.
He's determined to make sex a positive experience for you.
You're so deserving of that.
He's also big on communication after each time you have sex and will gently ask you if their's anything you wanted to bring up, or if you don't want to tell him yet, he encourages you to write it down in the journal he bought you with Copias money.

She's felt a bit of post coital dysphoria every once in a while but not to the extent that she got a diagnosis, so she can only imagine how rough that must feel.
She's amazing at adapting to the different aftercare you need each time.
She tends to keep a special basket in her bedside drawer that consists of; your favourite snacks, your favourite book, a calming spray she made with all your favourite scents and a comfy blanket.
How ever much time you need to recover, she'll supply it.
Sometimes she reads to you while you lie on the bed next to her or on her chest.
She has a very musical, soothing voice, she could be one of those people that read audio books on apps.
Or she’ll hum songs while running her hands through your hair.

CIRRUS
She's shocked and has to pause the conversation for a second before continuing.
She's quick to reassure you that she's completely okay with sex being off the table for however long you need, months, years, decades, she'll wait.
She's determined to figure out how to help you, any way to make you feel more comfortable in the relationship.
This leads to many days and sometimes nights spent in the library, deep in thought as she reads.
Sometimes she'll come back from the library and just hug you with wide eyes before returning to the library once more.
She becomes especially protective of you after sexual intercourse, even if it's been like six hours and you're feeling better.
She just sort of follows you around the ministry as you do your chores, growling at all the siblings for no particualr reason.
No one's aloud to make her darling feel bad for things that aren't your fault (not that anyone dares).

COPIA
He feels very honoured that you trust him enough to open up about this.
After each time you have sex he's quick to analyse how you're feeling from your facial expressions.
Does he need to get out his rats? Do you need a long nap to shake the blues? Do you want to go terrorise people with Sodo and Swiss? He'll get you food and water first, that's good. Right? That could help?
He's not afraid to talk about the real things and if you want to talk about what that sex session brought up for you, he's eager to hear about it and try to help.
He doesn't care what baggage you come with, as long as he can be yours and you can be his, he's the happiest goof on earth.
And don't stress if you go through phases of not wanting to be sexually intimate, he's happy to just hold your hand once in a while.
All he asks is that their's communication between the two of you, he'd hate to cause you any upset.

Anxiety is talked about fairly often, but some don't know how to handle a s/o or friend who struggles with it. That being said, those who care about you are willing to learn!
Monster trio, Robin, Chopper, Franky, Brook, Law
CW: SFW, headcanons, mentions of general and social anxiety. Zoro's and Law's parts don't start out that comforting. There can be different things that can trigger it (sometimes nothing necessarily triggers it!) so this is kept more broad. It's kind of a specific headcanon, but it's something I personally struggle with and maybe others can relate.
Luffy: It takes him time to realize how hard some situations are for you, and even then, it's not something he'll fully be abe to understand. But he doesn't need to understand in order to care about you and consider your feelings! He'll help you in anyway he can. If you're having a hard time coping with the rough seas, he'll draw your attention to him. You're feeling overwhelmed at a gathering? He'll stay nearby, giving you a sense of stability in the hurdles you're currently up against.
Zoro: He'd be able to notice something's different about you. However, he may be someone who didn't quite believe in anxiety (at least not in the regard of a disorder). That being said, when he started spending more time with you, it became blatently obvious that it was, in fact, something to be taken more seriously. Once realizing this, he'd be more considerate towards you. He wouldn't really be hands on when helping you, but he'd hover around, just making sure everything is okay.
Sanji: You'd have his undying support. Similarly to Luffy, he wouldn't fully be able to grasp the extend of your problems, although that's not obligitory when it comes to caring about the ones you love. He'd be more than willing to listen to what triggers you and would help you find coping methods to help push you through rough patches. He's a doer and wants to help you find ways to ease your troubled mind.
Robin: Similaryly to Zoro, she would have sensed something was going on with you, especially if your anxiety flares up during more social events. When she notices, she'd be tacktful when approaching the issue; she wouldn't want to make you feel singled out. She's always happy to learn about her friends and the ways they think, so you could open up to her without fear of judgement.
Chopper: He'd know better than anyone here just how hard social anxiety is. Being as empathetic as he is, he'd sob for you when you mention your qualms. Despite this initial reaction, he is still a doctor and is dedicated to helping people. Sure, his specialty doesn't lie in psychology, but he'd be determined to find something, anything, to aid you. He'd be a stand-in emotional support reindeer if you really needed it.
Franky: He's an extremely friendly, silly, and sociable cyborg, though that doesn't mean he doesn't know how to tone it down when he sees someone he cares about going through a hard time. Being a doer like Sanji, he would look for solutions to your problem. He'd opt for sillier antics when it comes to keeping your mind off of things, which may or may not be the most helpful. Either way, everything he does is in good faith.
Brook: If you're a music lover, he'd opt for playing your favorite song to get your mind off of things. He finds it soothing and figures you would too. He'd check up on you through out the day, giving you space if that's what you need. If you'd rather talk or vent about it, he wouldn't object to it. He wouldn't mind if you end up talking his ear off, not that he has ears.
Law: Being a doctor, he'd know better than to just dismiss your issues, but dealing with emotions is not his forte. He'd probably start out keeping himself at arms length from you, observing how you handle each wave of anxiety. In doing this, he'd gain a better understanding of how to approach you. This may come across as him out right avoiding you, though. Once he has a better idea of how to handle you during, and outside of, these flare-ups, he'd helicopter around you, taking out some of the things that'd set you off when he can.

Heartsteel Headcanons { First Impressions, how they fall in love, confession }
Seems people like the headcanons I write, so here's more! I try to be as detailed as I can while also keeping my perception of the characters. I apologize if theres lack of detail, I do write these very late at night.

Ps. This one is pretty lengthy so, yeah, keep that in mind.
Ezreal
When it comes to meeting new people, Ezreal is as friendly as they come. But upon meeting you for the first time, he seemed to smile a little more genuinely.
He was quick to find a way to interact with you in some form that wouldn't hinder anyone. It's hard being a rockstar after all, specially a popular and busy one like him. Befriending you was that first step.
He's open and kind, curious to a fault but otherwise respectful of you. The two of you find common ground and become great friends. It's not until a while of many fun events and activities together that he starts to fully fall for you.
There's shyness when he realizes, unsure if to bring it up at all with you was a good move to begin with. He does his best to hide it, but it's inevitable to not act sweet and romantic towars you. Always throwing throwing compliments and giving you support.
In the end, he confesses to you after you had long picked up on the compliments. Afraid but putting up a brave face if you do end up not feeling the same for him. Though his eyes do shine when hearing you feel the same. Showing his affection in the form of a sweet kiss.
Kayn
It's no secret that Kayn upon first encounter is a bit too intense for a person. Let alone with someone who's impulsive and wild like he was. Though upon meeting you, he isn't afraid to show a grin.
He tries to get on your nerves, just to see how far your wit goes. Though he doesn't expect you matching his level in the slightest. That gets you two to become close, causing mayhem to the behest of the other band members (or Yone, as the unofficial mother of the group)
Theres banter and much joy in the chaos you two find yourselves in, Kayn feels alive doing activities with you. It's not surprising when he falls for you because of it.
He doesn't say his feelings, he'd rather shrivel up and hide than say anything at all. Instead, his actions speak more than his words ever could. Leaning on you, always hovering by your shoulder and sometimes even hugging you out of nowhere.
His odd behaviour doesn't go unnoticed, and it takes some pushing in order to even get a "I like you" out of him. He tries to be brave an face you, but also stand close enough to the exit if you end up reject his feelings. He's surprised to say the least when you actually accept his feelings. And he doesn't hold back on showing you just how much you mean to him. Using bites a a sign of affection.
K'sante
K'sante is used to being a talkative person when it came to being around people, being always quite open to conversation. Having to be that interactful person for the sake of Yone most times. Though seeing you for the first time, he felt like he could give an entire TED talk.
His approach is like a host at a house warming party, wanting to get to know you and what you do for a living. Actually taking the time to meet and understand who you are. You two become quite close.
With him, theres always a story to tell or a topic to talk about. He enjoys listening and commenting on everything you wholeheartedly tell him. It takes him time to truly connect the dots that he's actually fallen for you.
His behaviour towards you doesn't change too much, but he does become more of a gentleman in a sense. Keeping a nice apperance, wearing cologne, opening the door for you among other actions.
There is a point where the two of you get into the conversation about partners and love when K'sante confesses his love for you. Keeping himself humble and reassuring you nothing will change if you don't like him back. But when you show him that you do, he becomes the luckiest man on earth. Holding you close and kissing you passionately.
Aphelios
Although being unable to talk to others, Aphelios finds ways to be entertaining for everyone in a room. Mostly playing instruments. Though when seeing you for the first time, he did look to try a little harder than usual.
With the help of Alune, he is able to communicate with you a little and actually share contact information with you. That's how he's able to get to know you and become great friends with you.
He's attentive and empathetic, always listening to everything you say or text him. Finding beauty in your mutual appreciation for eachothers interests. As well as quickly finding how hard he's fallen for you.
Of course Aphelios is extremly good at hiding his feelings. Though you do notice how quick his response time is to you, always answering seconds after you texted him. Sharing with you music he knows you'd enjoy as much as him.
When you two are together one day though, he does give you a hand written note. It's his confession. Patiently waiting for you to read it through although nervously. Unsure if you'd actually accept someone like him at all. But he does become surprised when in the same silent manner, you return the feeling writing an affirmation on the back of the paper with a smile. Aphelios' expression of joy could be louder than a thousand word. But trapped within silence, he simply shows it with a gentle kiss.
Sett
Sett thrives interacting with others and just being silly all the while. He's big man after all, having to show off in some way. But meeting you for the first time, he became even more silly.
He quick to make jokes and find something to talk about. All to befriend you and make you smile. He likes making friends and making them smile in some way.
You two find have fun in the most mundane things and enjoy working out in your own paces. Such joy of life doesn't go unnoticed by a happy guy like Sett. He falls for you and it's impossible to get you out of his head.
Unlike everyone, it's super obvious that he likes you. His face red everytime you even as smile his way. Stuttering slightly when you ask him if he's okay.
Sett ends up confessing pretty quickly after noticing. Apologizing if he accidentally made things uncomfortable. Though when you affirm that it's okay and that you feel the same, he is overjoyed. Picking you up and spinning around with you, laughing and kind of crying too at the same time. All from happiness tho.
Yone
Yone is used to keeping up a professional apperance, it's become second nature at this point. To leave a good impression for the band's sake. But when interacting with you for the first time, he did a check on the charm box.
His demeanor and way of talking got the two of you to talk for quite some time, even to the point of exchanging contact information. The frienship blossomed well
Yone wasn't much of a texter and he let that known quickly. So instead of texting, you two called eachother every now and then to share ideas and talk about life in general. Yone was at peace knowing someone like you was around, so it wasn't a full surprise to him when he noted a development in the way he saw you.
He didn't let anything show, keeping up apperances and interacting with you like normal. Though you did start to notice how he'd smile at you whenever you were together.
Sitting you down face to face, he does eventually confess his long held feelings for you. Assuring you that even if you don't reciprocate them in the same romantic way, he'd still care for you as a friend like normal. He does seem glad when you affirm them, bringing you close and expressing how much this means to him in loving whispers.

his sister loves u and is fully understanding of ur different behaviours, she actually thinks it makes you very unique. whenever ayato is not around due to his work, ayaka is always available for stuff you need too, she’s always happy to help her future sibling in law :))
thoma is also very supportive of you, all of your needs will be met as soon as you ask for them. he sees you as a good friend, so dw about being a burden, he loves u as a brother would
you struggle to make eye contact? that is a ok, ayato doesn’t mind, he knows that ur still listening to him, he refuses to force you to make eye contact with him if it makes you uncomfortable

i had a headcanon idea/au idea from the op poster of fwb!ghost
so this is in the timeline of where you and simon have had this arrangement for a while and he's already fully aware he is down bad for you. i'm talking you're his everything, he won't love again, if not you then no one type of endgame. this means he is not seeing anyone else, everyone is turned down. you, unknowingly feel the same way but you're dealing with the exact opposite way. you're dating around, trying to find anyone who could mimic if not a sliver of what you're feeling for simon. you land on dating this dude who is... mediocre at best.
you break things off with simon, both of you leaving heartbroken but simon still remains your friend.
he's nice, but he isn't simon. he's good, but he isn't simon. you get him to meet the 141 who are possibly more surprised that you're dating anyone than you were. (what you don't know is that everyone knew you and simon were a 'thing' they were just waiting for the two of you to get your head out of your ass. price was the only one who knew because, for the first time, simon came heartbroken, searching for comfort from the only person he could think of. it was a rough night)
"this is james," you introduce him awkwardly and it doesn't get better from there. james isn't rude but he tries to match up to the guys which doesn't work. he brushes you off and simon keeps glaring at him like james was the sole reason for this evening being a shitshow (he is correct)
on your way to your apartment, james is standoffish and rude. he keeps mentioning the fact that you work with only guys, that he shouldn't allow that as a boyfriend, blahblah whatever. it turns into an argument and it doesn't get better.
to establish his masculinity (his words) he becomes rude and even misogynistic at times. he picks at your outfits, your cooking, baking, you name it he was an asshole about it. you complain to the guys and each time are met with a stern "leave him". which yes you should, but who would be left?
simon hates james with a burning passion. it wasn't even so much so that you were dating someone else, it was the fact that james treated you like trash when you were meant to be treated like gold, the finest treasures in the whole world. he scowled whenever he was mentioned and you two would often argue about your relationship. it goes as far as the two of you not talking to each other for over two weeks.
it isn't until you find out james is cheating that you break things off with him. he was going behind your back with multiple women and his flimsy excuse was that "you didn't have time for him and you cheated with the 141 anyway". you cried and threw him out, breaking up with him then and there. it was messy and bad, and you have never felt more awful. you and simon weren't even on speaking terms and yet you needed him.
you called him sobbing and you've never seen him come as fast as he did. you're pretty sure he broke speeding limits to get to you. you cried into his arms, telling him the whole story finishing it with the fact that you were never good enough. simon tries to tell you otherwise but through some miscommunication, you're arguing again and you're telling him you're unlovable until simon just shouts
"for fucks sake i love you, you idiot!"
silence. just pure silence until you throw yourself on him, kissing him deeply.

But similar to Eren, if you guys are on opposite teams he will show no mercy :)

He’s the best player out of his friends but he probably isn’t on every night like Eren and Connie are hahah. The nights he is on though he’s on all night!
If you stay up with him, expect super lazy mornings where you slip out of bed past noon and make pancakes together
Expect super lazy afternoon-sex where he just kind of lies on top of you LMAO, gently holds you and cradles you underneath him as he buries his face into your neck, you’re both so tired from a night of gaming but he loves getting to spend that time with you
If he’s reading or doing homework and you’re gaming, he leaves you be!
He thinks it’s important to have privacy and alone time (and he’s right)
But he’ll also come up to you after your game ends, put his hands on your shoulders and ask how your match went!
If you ask him to coach you during a match he’s actually super supportive and helpful? Unlike if you’re playing a co-op game with him hahah
He also probably likes getting to train you and teach you! He wants you to be the best(:
If he’s feeling particularly clingy he’ll just move a chair to sit next you your gaming desk and read next to you lmao
Not even talking or distracting you! He just finds the keyboard clicks and your voice calming
Okay I want to make random college headcanons for the boys should I ever write a fic, and Armin would also make models?? I’m thinking warhammer or DnD ones (DnD with the squad headcanons? 👀) imagine him with a headlamp and big ol’ glasses so he can get a detailed paint job!
And he’d custom make a model of your main in their costume and surprise you with it on your anniversary! It takes him weeks to make :')

In a match those he’s actually the most supportive I’d argue? He totally lets you do your thing, whereas Armin and Eren might still have you try and follow their lead
“Where you goin’, mama? Damn atta girl! I’ve gotcha, don’t worry (y/n)” literally just follows you around the map to be backup and to hype you up!
In my last set of hcs Connie was a streamer! If you also streamed he’d be obsessed with doing those fun collabs with you
Either that or he’d be like “ew guys this weirdo is trying to join my discord call rn lemme see what she wants— hello? Do I know you? Always happy to meet a fan but how did you get my discord?”
Idk why he thinks pretending he doesn’t know you is the funniest thing ever?? You guys start a new match with his friends and suddenly he spends the whole game chirping at you

He’s so much fun to play story games with though! I’m thinking Detroit: Become Human
He’ll sit next to you and let you control things and he’ll do voices for the characters (he’ll even turn down the game voices so he can impersonate the characters instead)
Makes Connor and the other androids it sound like literal robots, add in extra comments, etc
Honestly I think Connie would be the best at voices? He does super great impressions of his friends and will share them a lot on discord while you’re all playing minecraft, to their dismay :)
Sometimes if he isn’t playing with you he’ll just send you a DM asking you to stream so he can watch? So cute
Too embarrassed to ask you in person but you just got used to streaming on discord now so he can hop on and watch from his computer
PORCO:
I feel like he’s pretty independent when it comes to gaming ngl so when he finds out you are a gamer he just kind of like “oh word? Cool”
Since he plays a lot of games like FIFA and GTA, he usually plays those while you do your thing
Idk why but I also feel like he would be the type of guy to have a spotless apartment? Takes pride in his cleanliness so he’s usually cleaning the apartment while you game
Which is okay with him! He likes hearing you talk to your friends
To him, gaming is kind of his thing to do when he wants to be alone? Even when he’s playing with other people it’s kind of like his private time
So when you’re playing with your friends he lets you have space!
He and Jean are probably the two gamers who would want to spend more time with you outside of the apartment doing things anyway!
But if you want to play with him he’s totally down!
He’s a pretty casual gamer but you can still expect him to get heated, especially if he thinks someone is targeting you or cheating
“No, Porco it’s okay! I made a bad play that’s all” “no (y/n) there’s no way he could have hit you from there, something’s going on”
He will make dinner while you’re gaming and surprise you with it after your match! Even though you can smell it from your desk lmao
“C‘mon, dummy, it’s getting cold,” he’ll call out and gestures to the chair he’s holding out for you
He scoots you in once you’ve sat and he asks you about how your matches are going
If you lost he’ll slide your dessert away from you and then say “sorry, winners only” 😐😐
He’s still not the most active when it comes to their DOTA or League games, but he invites you in to play with his friends so it’s okay!
Eventually he starts to insists on you being in their discord call while they’re playing just so that he can talk to you while you’re playing your own solo game or something!
Don’t get me wrong he still likes his private gaming time and thinks you deserve your own gaming time! But he quickly warms up to the idea of you being together and sharing that time together
REINER:
Okay I love Reiner to pieces yeah? But this man does not understand video games before he meets you
He just doesn’t understand the point??
“Why not just go outside and do something, love?”
He’ll comfort you if you get emotional playing a game like the Last of Us, but then he’ll ruin it by saying “I mean, they’re all dead when you think about it, yeah? They've never actually been alive! They’re not real, sweetie”
But he’s trying to comfort you I promise
I think if there was a game you could get him to play it would be a Dark Souls/Elden Ring type game! I think the dramatic music and fight scenes would pique his interest as he walks past your desk
After watching you fight Malenia or something he says he’ll give it a try
And then he loses to the Tree Sentinel and you have to comfort him. “Babe, that’s kind of the point, you have to go and level up first!” He thought he could impress you oh lord
Otherwise he’d love to watch you play Stardew Valley! Loves the characters and thinks that the heart events are super special
You might be able to convince him to start his own game of Stardew Valley, but he’s busy a lot and feels guilty about ‘abandoning them’, so he prefers to watch you play!
Will also cook you dinner and make sure your water is full while you play! He likes to watch you play and loves seeing you all happy when you’re winning
Sometimes he will try and hug you while you’re playing because he loves seeing you do something you love, but then you have to remind him that you’re in the middle of a game!
“So how was your game!” “It was good! Eren always plays aggro so he took most of the attention away from me!” “There’s a character named Eren in your game? Huh,” it takes him a second to understand that you’re playing with REAL PEOPLE
LEVI:
Just like Reiner (honestly all of these men who don’t understand video games) he doesn’t see the point? Like why not go outside and do something?
Kind of rolls his eyes at the games you play despite him not knowing about them
But he secretly takes pride in the fact that you’re sometimes the one taking control and bossing the others around
He’ll hear you tell Eren to shut up so you can focus and he’ll sneak behind you and peer over your head, maybe smooth out your hair a bit to let you know he’s there
You can talk to him about your games and he’ll listen but he’ll definitely not understand any of it
He’ll respond with a lot of “Ah”s and “Oh, I see” and “..is that good or bad?”
Silently brings you tea when you’re playing late and will usually stay up reading on the couch while you do! He’s a classy guy, likes to go to bed with you
Sometimes he’ll fall asleep on the couch so you have to wake him up :(
He just kind of shuffles over and wordlessly invites you to sleep with him there, cradled in his arms on the couch
I don’t think there’s any way you could get him to play a video game though, sorry
This is Levi Ackerman, who doesn’t understand how twitter works hahah
If you get upset over a loss he doesn’t really know how to comfort you, but he’ll kind of sneak over and mutter something like “that kid’s a bastard anyway” and kiss your head
ZEKE:
Will straight up tell you to go outside and touch grass if he thinks you’ve been inside too long
He’ll pick you up from your desk and try and carry him out to go on a walk with him or something after a match lmao!
Will ask you what is so exciting about your games and why you’d rather do that than do something with him :( poor Zeke
But he just says those kinds of things to get a rise from you lmaoo! He’s glad you have some hobby because it lets him also have private time, like Porco I think Zeke would like some space to do his own thing every now and then
Or maybe he’s just busy and glad you can keep yourself busy? I headcanon him to be going into a medical field like his dad! So Dr. Jaeger knows that you won’t be too lonely while he’s at work
You can get him to play surgeon simulator when he’s in a good mood. He thinks it’ll be easy. Ooh boy
He doesn’t become addicted or anything but when he fails, he insists that he can do it and he’s trying again. And again. And again.
Genuinely likes seeing you have a hobby and is impressed with your ability to balance your responsibilities and have time to unwind with a game
Likes to see you kill Eren in whatever game you’re playing, even minecraft hahah
Judges you for playing animal crossing though? Sorry he thinks it’s a kids game?

You tell him he’d be a grumpy villager and he ruffles your hair before walking away with a huff hahah

Comfort after losing a loved one headcanons
Includes: Primo, Copia, Mountain, Swiss, Sodo, Rain and Cumulus
Primo
Due to his age, he's lost many people in his life. Some closer than others. So he understands your loss and is there in whatever way you need him to be.
He's there to offer a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen.
He'll kiss your hands as you talk. Or rub your back. Or whatever you wish. He's there to support you.
Offers to help you grow the most beautiful flowers for their grave when you're ready.
He lets you talk all you want. Whenever you need. It doesn't matter if he's in the middle of something.
He's always there for you.
If you want to get your mind off of it, he'll offer many relaxing activities.
No matter what you need to do, he will be there for you and he'll do his best to provide you his support.
Copia
He knows he's not the best at comforting, but he does his best. He holds you tightly and lets you talk about the person you lost.
Tries his best to sympathize with you. Lets you hold and okay with his rats in hopes that it'll cheer you up at least a little bit.
Watches your comfort movies with you. Gets your favorite food. He tries his best to make sure you know you can always count on him.
Sister will probably get upset with him for it, but he won't even touch his work until you feel better.
He loves you so much, he wishes he could do something to magically remove your pain, but he knows healing can take a long time.
He'll be there with you the entire time. He loves you a lot. And he'll do anything you ask, just as long as he can comfort you somehow.
Mountain
Lets you get all the frustration out on his drumset.
You're also forbidden from walking. He's gonna carry you and give you all the hugs and kisses he can.
His tail is basically your new stress toy. He doesn't care how sensitive it is, if you want to play with it, it's yours.
He'd let you absolutely bite or scratch him if needed.
Doesn't mind if you need to cling to him, he easily carries you with one arm.
Makes you food and offers to feed you.
He'll baby you all you need, taking care of your needs for you.
He's even gonna keep you wrapped in a blanket.
You can take all your time mourning. He's got you.
Lets you talk and and cry all you need. He's fully prepared to do absolutely anything for you, no matter what that is.
Swiss
He's gonna do his best to bring you some joy.
Plays funny riffs for you, acts out funny scenes, tells you dumb jokes and puns.
Lets you fuck around with his instruments if it helps.
Swiss lives for your smiles so by default, he tries to get you to smile.
He's willing to cuddle you to oblivion if it helps you.
Kisses and hugs all around.
He's going to listen to you and make as much small talk as possible.
It's just his first instinct to distract you and cheer you up. If you tell him that's not what you need, he'll listen.
He'll let you lay on top of him, throwing a dumb joke to hopefully cheer you up.
He does his best to make you focus on happy thoughts about the person you've lost, kissing you all over.
Will absolutely make a fool out of himself for you.
Sodo
The first thing he does is make sure you get your space. Unless you specifically ask him to let someone get close to you, he's gonna chase anyone away. You are not to be bothered and that's final.
He's the most protective of the bunch, I'd say. But he's also rather awkward.
He will bring you things to cheer you up. Your favorite snacks and drinks, fluffy blankets...
He gets you plushies and other stuff you can cuddle up to.
He deals with his issues by biting you, so he offers to let you bite him, hoping it helps at least a little bit.
Tell him what you need, it'll make everything much easier for the both of you.
He'll let you cuddle onto him for as long as you need. He can't say no to you.
He'll let you hold into him as long as you need, doesn't matter how long.
Rain
He's very good at soothing you.
Let's you curl up on his lap. He'll hold you and give you tiny kisses.
He'll play his bass for you, might offer to teach you a few simple riffs.
He'll let you play with his tail and talk about the loved one you lost.
Will offer to take you out for a swim, since it usually soothes him.
He would slowly undress you both and cuddles with you in the bathtub.
He's not too fond of bubble baths, but he doesn't mind if it's for you.
He'll gladly endure anything, really, if it cheers you up.
Kisses your hair often. Murmurs comforting words.
Basically becomes your own personal plushie until you feel better.
Cumulus
Speaking of plushies, this gorgeous Ghoulette becomes your plushie, pillow and mattress.
Lay on top of her all you need. Cry all you need. She's prepared for that.
She'll quietly sing to you, hoping to make you feel better.
If she's not holding you, she's getting your favorite snack and trying anything she can to bring a smile to your face.
She'll listen to you, rubbing comforting circles on your back as she kisses he top of your head.
She's very good at making you feel heard.
She'll listen to any stories you have and will also ask about them, hoping you'll feel a bit better if you focus on the happy memory.
She's also completely okay with you hiding from the rest of the world in her chest of thighs.
She offerss you her complete support, no matter what you need.
